Musk got riled up and involved for two things: his daughter transitioning and it becoming evident the Left was engaged in free speech suppression.
OK–I spotted my mistake, just barely, before I posted. Vivian Musk transitioned TO female and was therefore born male. I decided to leave it as is (and to add this paragraph) to show how effing confusing the whole mess can be.
Right now he is riled up because solar/batteries are essential in his world view and the BBB took away some of the incentives. He says carbon credits is needed to get the big corporations to build gigafactories.
I haven’t watched the video, but I’m not concerned about the world needing a “sustainable energy future.” It sounds like something climate alarmists come up with, and talk about a need for carbon credits is a red flag for me.
I’m not promoting a view, I’m trying to understand from his perspective what he is seeing that would make him move in this direction.
What he’s seeing and thinking about is so foreign to typical world view discussion and it’s informed by insights into technologies I know barely anything about.
I’m in the information gathering stage.

Solar electric generation seems less likely on Mars, IMHO.
less atmospheric attenuation, fewer clouds. But they will be less than half as efficient per square meter than they are here due to the greater distance, and Mars has lots of blowing dust which must be removed…and a sandstorm will fubar you unless you have GIGANTIC battery storage.

The energy needs (current and especially projected) are being driven by A.I., which will require huge amounts of energy. Along with the driverless EVs and Optimus robots.
All the climate alarmists, for years, were saying how the energy needed to mine Bitcoin was going to boil the oceans. 🙄

Yes, for those who may not have been paying attention to Bitcoin, it would have gone unnoticed.
But if one has been following Bitcoin, whenever the MSM or Lefty influencers on alternative media talked about Bitcoin, it was usually to say how unfriendly it was to the environment, and the huge carbon footprint, and all the wasted electricity that was required for Bitcoin mining.
Fighting this narrative led to all kinds of realizations in efficiency for Bitcoin mining.
Like capturing wasted natural gas and using it to mine Bitcoin, and ever more efficient Bitcoin mining rigs — primarily to save money and make Bitcoin mining more profitable, but the efficiency gains were also used to combat the narrative.
Also using hydro power where possible, and now nuclear.
With Bitcoin, it can be mined just about anywhere, it doesn’t have to be nearby a population center, unlike the giant data centers required for A.I.
So there are lots of energy sources that are too far away from population centers to be useful for most applications, but they are perfect for Bitcoin mining.
The narrative against Bitcoin was from TPTB, because they rightly feared a challenge to their monopoly on money. Bitcoin has been banned in many countries around the world, which only causes it to go underground or move to nations that welcome it.
China had the most Bitcoin mining in the world, until they banned it.
Now America has the most Bitcoin mining in the world. Bitcoin mining = economic power, it’s digital gold.
No one has to believe that, and many people will never allow themselves to be convinced, and that’s fine. But the rest of the world has already decided that it is, and the rest of the world is treating it accordingly.
Once A.I. became commercially viable, all the usual enviro-wacko suspects who decried the energy usage of Bitcoin mining pretty much melted away, because the argument could not withstand the reality that A.I. was going to use orders of magnitude more energy than Bitcoin mining does.
And TPTB want A.I. very much.
The amount of energy used for Bitcoin is a trickle.
The amount of energy needed for A.I. requires busting the dam.
This is also why all the wailing against nuclear energy has mostly died off. TPTB need energy for A.I. or they are going to be left behind by those who have it.
I have seen different estimates, but we may need twice as much electricity production or more, globally, than we currently have.
Windmills just aren’t going to gut it.
Reality trumps narrative, so narrative changes.
It was never about the environment, it was always about money and power and access to resources. This is just the most current example.
I am completely ignorant on the subject of bitcoin. it never made sense to me that to acquire bitcoin by solving complex equations…(or something like that). i don’t understand it. who determines the value? does this bitcoin just materialize? if it only exists “on line” how can anyone say they “have” it. and what about all the energy you’re paying for to solve these equations? what kind of return on your investment are you getting? who needs these equations solved? shouldn’t they be the ones paying for their solutions?
i don’t expect answers–I probably wouldn’t understand them anyway.

I was the same way. I first heard about Bitcoin around 2012, when it was silly cheap. But I blew it off, thought it was nothing. Today it’s $107,000 and in a few more years I expect it will be $1,000,000.
Bitcoin, unlike most cryptos which could be (and often are) a type of ponzi, is a ‘proof of work’ crypto.
In order for something to have ‘value’, there has to be ‘work’ involved.
An ounce of gold requires a lot of work (money, time, energy) to locate, dig up, process, refine and mint into a saleable coin or bar.
Its existence is proof of the work that went into it, and it can be weighed to prove the weight matches the weight stamped into it, and it can be tested for purity.
A Bitcoin likewise requires a lot of work (money, time, energy) to ‘mine’. Instead of digging something up out of the ground, computers compete to solve equations, and whoever solves the equation first is rewarded with a Bitcoin.
A couple years ago, I think the average ‘all in’ cost to produce an ounce of gold was around $1,500 to $1,600 and it was selling for around $1,850.
The current average cost to mine a Bitcoin is around $80,000 (I think), and the spot price today is $107,000.

The market determines its value, along with the miners, same as precious metals.
For example, the price of gold is determined by the Gold exchanges (and futures contracts), and ultimately by the gold mining companies, because if the price of gold drops below the cost of production for too long, eventually the mining companies will shutter the mines, until prices rise enough to make mining gold profitable again.
Bitcoin operates on the same principles.
Bitcoin was classified by the U.S. government as a commodity during the Brandon administration.
During the Trump administration, Bitcoin officially became a new asset class (first new asset class in a long time).
It trades on Bitcoin exchanges in ‘pure’ form, and trades on the stock exchanges in the form of ETFs and various proxies, like Bitcoin mining companies and MicroStrategy (now just called ‘Strategy’).

Technically you have the ‘keys’ to access whatever Bitcoin you own (if you own Bitcoin directly, as opposed to the much easier to buy/sell/hold ETFs or proxies), but the Bitcoin itself exists on the blockchain, a global digital ledger.

It began very cheaply, in 2009, when people could use their home PC to solve the equations to earn Bitcoin.
A Bitcoin may only have been worth 50 cents (or less) at the time.
As usage and competition grew, the equations became harder to solve, requiring more computing power and more electricity.
Fast forward to 2025, and I think the all-in average cost to ‘mine’ (produce) a Bitcoin is around $80K today.
So at the current $107K spot price, you can make a $27K profit per Bitcoin.
But mining has become a very competitive and cut throat business today, and margins are often slim to negative for long periods, until the Bitcoin price (which so far has been cyclical, but that may change going forward as adoption rapidly increases) hits new highs.
Everyone who mines needs the latest, greatest mining equipment (computers specifically designed for mining) to stay competitive.
If it costs company ‘A’ $60,000 to mine a Bitcoin (because they have the most recent and most efficient mining machines) and it costs company ‘B’ $100,000 to mine a Bitcoin because they have 3-year old mining machines, company ‘B’ won’t be able to stay in business for very long.
So what usually happens is the mining company sells shares on the stock market (diluting their share count, which lowers their share price), and uses the raised capital to buy newer and more efficient mining machines every 3 years.

The Bitcoin program requires equations to be solved in order to award a Bitcoin.
A fixed number of Bitcoins are awarded each day. I think it was around 3,600 per day back in 2009.
Every 4th year, the number is cut in half. Currently, only 450 Bitcoins can be mined per day.
If for some reason people stopped mining Bitcoin, the Bitcoin program would automatically adjust to make the equations easier to solve, which incentivizes more people to mine Bitcoin.
As more and more people around the world mine Bitcoin, the difficulty increases accordingly, so that only the programmed amount (currently 450 until 2028 when it will be cut to 225 per day) is awarded each day.

They do. The miners are the ones paying for the solutions.
The miners buy the mining machines (PCs optimized for mining), they rent or buy office space to house as many mining machines as possible, they pay for the electricity to run the mining machines, and they take all the risk such an endeavor poses, for the reward of Bitcoin, which can be exchanged for USD or hoarded, same as gold miners do.

Michael Saylor, founder of MicroStrategy (a software company that converted to a Bitcoin holding company and now has 597,325 Bitcoin as of today), has become more or less the public Ambassador for Bitcoin.
He says to really understand Bitcoin, you need to invest about 100 hours. You can read a book (e.g., The Bitcoin Standard), you can watch videos (Saylor’s website has what amounts to an online university for Bitcoin, all free education), etc.
Or you can just watch videos from random content creators on youtube, or some combination of all three.
The basic principles are the same as precious metals, so it’s an easy transition for people who understand gold and silver, for example.
All the same basic questions apply. What is ‘money’? What makes something ‘valuable’?
Gold and silver have been used as ‘money’ for thousands of years, but so have a lot of other things.
Gold (and silver) just solved the ‘problems’ of ‘money’ better than anything else discovered, for a variety of reasons, which are interesting to learn about, but most people never do.
Gold bugs do, they have learned, but many of them have become so obsessed with gold (or silver) that they see Bitcoin as competition, and reject it out of hand, rather than taking the time necessary to understand it, and understand how Bitcoin solves the ‘money’ problem(s) even better than gold does.
That doesn’t mean gold becomes obsolete, it’s not a zero sum game, it just means that Bitcoin is a new addition to the ‘store of value’ category, and it has certain advantages that make it very useful over physical gold (or silver).

I thought the exact same thing when I first heard about Bitcoin, and for years afterward, because I had no compelling reason (that I was aware of) to spend the time to learn about it.
That was a huge mistake on my part.
If I had taken the time, back around 2014, when I bought some silver at around $19/oz (average), and I had bought Bitcoin instead, I would be living on a beach somewhere right now.
I didn’t learn about Bitcoin until I needed to, which is what happens to most people. It’s what happened to Michael Saylor.
He thought Bitcoin was a scam too. He publicly predicted that Bitcoin was a type of ponzi scheme whose value would go to zero, and people love to remind him of that all the time, now that he has become the unofficial spokesman for Bitcoin, half a decade or so later 😁
The problem is that soon, everyone will need to know about Bitcoin, for the same reason that everyone should know about gold.
As far as I know, Bitcoin is the first time in history where the ‘little people’ are able to get in before the big institutions.
People figured it out first, but the institutions are onto it now, and they are coming fast. It takes time for institutions to absorb, debate on the board of directors, etc.
And it required regulatory clarity for corporations to be able to adopt Bitcoin or add it to their treasury.
Those hurdles have all been cleared now, and the price is still hovering around $100K.
But it’s divisible, so anyone can buy as little (or much) as they can afford or desire.
Lots of people dollar cost average, maybe $10 or $20 a day, or $100 a week, or whatever.
You can buy Bitcoin in the form of an ETF (just like the Gold ETF) on most online brokerages.
Sovereign Bonds are all (eventually) going to junk status, because the whole world is drowning in debt.
Bitcoin, like gold, silver and other hard assets, is the life raft, or the escape hatch.
As the USD value trends toward zero, the value of Bitcoin will trend toward infinity.
Like the inverse correlation between Gold and the German mark in the 1920s.

It was a really good idea to have a little gold in Germany in 1919.
It’s a good idea to have a little gold in America in 2025, for the exact same reason.
All fiat currencies eventually go to zero, but Gold never goes to zero. As fiat currencies lose value, the purchasing power of Gold increases.
The exact same principle applies to Bitcoin.
The major difference (there are several) is that unlike Gold, Bitcoin is finite.
If the price of Gold goes to $10K/ounce, exploration and mining will boom, and within a couple years, enough new supply will come onto the market to stabilize the gold price.
Because you can always dig up more gold.
But with Bitcoin, there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin in existence. That’s how the program was designed, and it shuts off when the 21 millionth Bitcoin is mined.
That’s it.
No matter how high the price goes, there will never be any more supply.
A little over 19 million Bitcoin have already been mined, so there are only about 2 million left to be mined, before Bitcoin mining ends.
And around 5 million Bitcoin have already been ‘lost’ (the keys to access it have been lost), so there will really only ever be around 16 million Bitcoin, by the time the last Bitcoin is mined.
There has never been a commodity, in the history of the world, that had a fixed supply that could never be increased, no matter how high the value went.
Bitcoin is the first and only.
If it is a good idea to have a little gold (and it is), it is also a good idea to have a little Bitcoin, for the same reasons.
Except the scarcity of Bitcoin, permanently capped/fixed at 21 million Bitcoins (and really only around 16 million Bitcoins, due to the aforementioned loss of Bitcoins), means the CAGR (compound annual growth rate) for Bitcoin should easily eclipse the CAGR of Gold.
And Bitcoin has easily eclipsed the CAGR of gold for many years now, along with eclipsing the CAGR of just about everything else.
The fact that most people don’t understand Bitcoin is a blessing in disguise.
So long as that remains true, there is still time to acquire Bitcoin at a price much lower than it will eventually be.
If everyone understood it already, the value would already be priced in, and it would already cost $3 million, or $7 million, or $10 million per Bitcoin.
It’s still cheap, once you understand where it is going to be.

Actually, Bitcoin is far less made up than what is (supposedly but not really) in your bank account.

His entire Cabinet is pro-Bitcoin.
Legislation has already been passed to create regulatory clarity for Bitcoin, and more is being passed. The ‘Genius Act’ was just passed recently.
It’s in everyone’s faces, and yet the majority of Americans (and people everywhere) remain in total denial of what is happening all around them.
Just like Covid.
It’s the same phenomenon.
But it’s easy to learn, for anyone who wants to put in a reasonable amount of time and effort.
So in a sense, it’s like a self-selecting prize. The people who are interested in it will figure it out and get the prize, and those who aren’t, won’t.
Until the whole system is changed, and then they will need to learn about it, whether they want to or not.

It is, but it’s coming anyway, and a lot faster than most people (including me) can really grasp.
The company SalesForce recently revealed that 50% of their work is already being done by A.I.
AI doing up to 50% of work at Salesforce: CEO Marc Benioff
That means they can cut their workforce in half.
And A.I. is still in the early stages of utilization and development.
But it’s growing exponentially, and the competitive advantage is far too great to ignore. Labor is a large component of most business costs. If you can cut your labor costs by half (or more), and your competitor doesn’t follow suit, he will soon be out of business.
Humans think linearly, and most people (excepting maybe physicists or similar) have great difficulty thinking exponentially.
A.I. is growing exponentially.

Gigafactories are now nearly totally automated, and will only become more so as Optimus robots are integrated to the workflow.
The other day it was posted that Tesla just had their first ‘factory to buyer’ delivery of a Tesla car. It drove itself off the assembly line, onto the street, and to the new owner’s home, all by itself.
When the Gigafactory is running at full capacity, it can produce a ridiculous amount of product. This is one reason why legacy auto cannot even begin to compete.

When the Gigafactory is running at full capacity, it can produce a significant amount of battery cells and electric vehicles.
For example, Tesla’s Gigafactory Nevada is capable of building 100 GWh of batteries annually, enough for 1.5 million light duty vehicles.
Additionally, Tesla’s Gigafactory Shanghai is running at full capacity, producing over 950,000 vehicles per year. The production capacity of a Gigafactory is often measured in gigawatt hours (GWh).

So Gigafactory Shanghai is making 2,603+ cars every single day, 365 days a year. And it will soon be nearly entirely automated, if it isn’t already.
1,440 minutes in a 24-hour day means they are able to produce almost 2 cars per minute, around the clock.
A Gigafactory is a modern marvel.
Another reason legacy auto can’t compete is because they have outsourced practically everything that goes into the car, which means outside manufacturers and suppliers and shipping all have to be paid and factored into the end-user price.
Tesla is vertically integrated, nearly the entire car (and other products) are built in-house, so there is no middleman taking his cut out of every part that goes into the car. This means Tesla can sell their cars much more cheaply than Legacy Auto, and still make a better profit per car than Legacy Auto.
It’s not a fair fight.
Elon / Tesla had the advantage of seeing what works, and optimizing all of it for maximum efficiency and cost savings, integrating automation wherever possible, while Legacy Auto is using factories that are decades old with even older bureaucracies, labor unions, etc.
People have been warning that this day was coming for years. It’s almost here now.
And Tesla isn’t just a car company, I think they have at least 7 or 8 different products, and if I remember correctly, by 2027-2028, cars won’t even be their primary source of revenue / income.

Yes, very much so, the EVs are still the main source of income, but that will change in the near future.
I expect they will continue to make EVs for as long as Tesla is around, and make more and more of them, it’s just that the demand for their other products will be so great that it will leave revenue from EVs in the dust.
They also make electric semi-trucks for commercial product transportation.
They make their own computer chips for A.I., to supplement what they buy from NVIDIA.
They have the largest A.I. on the planet (Elon’s A.I. is called Grok).
They have the battery mega-packs, which will be used all over the world by power stations to stabilize their electrical grid. They can’t build them fast enough, I think Australia is their current largest buyer.
They have the Robo-taxis, which will put Uber (and all other taxi services) out of business. The FSD (full self-driving) is essentially complete and working, much safer than human driving, and Tesla can produce these self-driving taxis at scale and low cost, so they will be everywhere.
Not just in America, but all over the world.
Then there is Optimus, the human-like robot, which will eventually replace a significant percentage of the workforce, all over the world.
A.I. makes all of it possible, and it is happening faster than most people (including me) realize.

People love them. Even people who were prepared (and expecting) to hate them.

At Tesla, we believe that technology can help improve safety. That’s why Tesla vehicles are engineered to be the safest cars in the world. We believe the unique combination of passive safety, active safety, and automated driver assistance is crucial for keeping not just Tesla drivers and passengers safe, but all drivers on the road.
It’s this notion that grounds every decision we make – from the design of our cars, to the software we introduce, to the features we offer every Tesla owner.
Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y have achieved among the lowest overall probability of injury of any vehicles ever tested by the U.S. government’s New Car Assessment Program.
Much of this has to do with the rigid, fortified structure of the battery pack that is mounted to the car’s floor, which provides a vehicle with exceptional strength, large crumple zones, and a uniquely low center of gravity. Because of their strength, Tesla’s battery packs rarely incur serious damage in accidents.
And, in the extremely unlikely event that a fire occurs, the state-of-the-art design of our battery packs ensures that its safety system works as intended and isolates a fire to select areas within the battery while simultaneously venting heat away from the passenger cabin and the vehicle.
While no car can prevent all accidents, we work every day to try to make them much less likely to occur. Active safety features come standard on all Tesla vehicles made after September 2014 for an added layer of safety beyond the physical structure of each car. Because every Tesla is connected, we’re able to use the billions of miles of real-world data from our global fleet – of which more than 9 billion have been driven with Autopilot engaged – to understand the different ways accidents happen.
We then develop features that can help Tesla drivers mitigate or avoid accidents. Through over-the-air software updates, we’re able to introduce safety features and enhancements long after a car has been delivered, as well as release updated versions of existing safety features that take into account the most up-to-date real-world data collected by our fleet.
In October 2018, we began voluntarily releasing quarterly safety data in order to provide critical safety information about our vehicles to the public, and in July 2019 we began voluntarily releasing annually updated data about vehicle fires as well. Accident rates among all vehicles on the road can vary from quarter to quarter and can be affected by seasonality, like reduced daylight and inclement weather conditions.

Tesla is committed to collecting, analyzing, and reporting the most accurate data available regarding vehicle and fire safety. To that end, we continuously refine our methodology, detection processes and algorithms for the collection and analysis of fire event reports involving Tesla vehicles, including events where the evidence indicates the fire did not originate with the vehicle.
We learn about fire events from a wide variety of internal and external sources, such as available vehicle telemetry, customer service, and media reports. For this reason, we may not be notified of a fire event until months after it occurs.
Therefore, to better reflect what we have learned about fire events involving Tesla vehicles, we now collect annual vehicle fire data for a year before publishing to capture all known events. This approach is also consistent with how the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) reports on vehicle fire events.
Our global data indicates that, between 2012 and 2022, approximately one Tesla vehicle fire event occurred for every 130 million vehicle miles traveled. By comparison, data from the NFPA and U.S. Department of Transportation indicate that one vehicle fire occurs in the United States for every 18 million miles traveled. Compared to average vehicles on the road, Tesla vehicles are comparatively even less likely to be involved in a fire event than these numbers suggest, because Tesla’s data includes fire events that are caused by structure fires, wildfires, arson, and other causes unrelated to the vehicle, whereas the NFPA data excludes any fires where a structure is involved.
In addition, because Tesla is committed to reporting the most accurate and comprehensive data possible, we also provide yearly averages over the past 5 years, as illustrated above. These numbers reflect known fire events that occur globally in each calendar year, and they are normalized by vehicle fleet mileage that accrued during that year.
Methodology:
We collect the amount of miles traveled by each vehicle with Autopilot active or in manual driving, based on available data we receive from the fleet, and do so without identifying specific vehicles to protect privacy. We also receive a crash alert anytime a crash is reported to us from the fleet, which may include data about whether Autopilot was active at the time of impact.
To ensure our statistics are conservative, we count any crash in which Autopilot was deactivated within 5 seconds before impact, and we count all crashes in which the incident alert indicated an airbag or other active restraint deployed. (Our crash statistics are not based on sample data sets or estimates.) In practice, this correlates to nearly any crash at about 12 mph (20 kph) or above, depending on the crash forces generated. We do not differentiate based on the type of crash or fault (For example, more than 35% of all Autopilot crashes occur when the Tesla vehicle is rear-ended by another vehicle). In this way, we are confident that the statistics we share unquestionably show the benefits of Autopilot.
Please note that seasonality can affect crash rates from quarter to quarter, particularly in quarters where reduced daylight and inclement or wintry weather conditions are more common. To minimize seasonality as a variable, compare a quarter to the same quarter in prior years.

We are proud of Autopilot’s performance and its impact on reducing traffic collisions. The benefit and promise of Autopilot is clear from the Vehicle Safety Report data that we have been sharing for 4 years. As part of Tesla’s commitment to continuous improvement, recent analysis led us to identify and implement upgrades to our data reporting. Specifically, we discovered reports of certain events where no airbag or other active restraint deployed, single events that were counted more than once, and reports of invalid or duplicated mileage records.
Including these events is inconsistent with our methodology for the Vehicle Safety Report and they will be excluded going forward. These upgrades in data analysis reinforce the positive impact that Autopilot has on vehicle safety. To ensure the accuracy of our reporting, we updated all collision rates historically to account for these upgrades, including the baseline collision rates for the United States based on currently available NHTSA and FHWA data. (Note that for purposes of the baseline collision rates in the United States, an automobile crash is one that involves at least one passenger vehicle, light truck, SUV or van that is 10,000 pounds or less, as classified by available federal data.)
The end result is that, when Autopilot is active, the collision rates are even lower than we previously reported.”

The June 30th collection is halted and the Canadian government led by Mark Carney will be bringing legislation to rescind the tax entirely.

Consistent with this action, Prime Minister Carney and President Trump have agreed that parties will resume negotiations with a view towards agreeing on a deal by July 21, 2025.
The DST was announced in 2020 to address the fact that many large technology companies operating in Canada may not otherwise pay tax on revenues generated from Canadians. Canada’s preference has always been a multilateral agreement related to digital services taxation. While Canada was working with international partners, including the United States, on a multilateral agreement that would replace national digital services taxes, the DST was enacted to address the aforementioned taxation gap.
The June 30, 2025 collection will be halted, and Minister Champagne will soon bring forward legislation to rescind the Digital Services Tax Act. (LINK)

Geese can be pretty mean. Daughter was playing in a golf match in high school at one course and her foursome was attacked while putting on the green. 😂 It was before you could shoot videos quickly on a mobile phone or I would have done it to embarrass them. They were squealing and running away like 3 year olds. I asked all four what was in their hands (golf clubs). It did not occur to them they had nice weapons in them to fend the geese off. It was obviously nesting season and the girls got too close. 😂
In Germany where I grew up was a river through town and people used to let their geese nest and graze near the river bank. My friend and I used to walk along the river as kids and were chased by geese. Was normal and their bit was just a pinch we did not care .
They can do some damage with those wings and they BITE!
Geese bite is only a pinch just do not panic 🙂

Several years ago where I live two doctors man wife combo from India got caught defrauding medicare and insurances. They have been prosecuted at the time. When we have people who have a different cultural upbringing and ethical compass these things happen more and more. As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Evening Prayer For Future Guidance
Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
Give me patience to wait for Your perfect timing, and may I not trust in my own abilities and scheming, but rather rest in Your love and trust my future into Your hands.
And so now Lord, I commit this night to you, asking that I would rest soundly and wake refreshed and strong to do Your bidding. This I ask in Jesus’ precious name,

Praise Your holy name Heavenly Father, for granting yet another day in my life and for being with me every step of the way. Thank You for the many blessings that You have provided and the love and fellowship that I have with the friends and family that in Your grace You have placed in my life.
My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
I pray that You would watch over me as I rest tonight, and that You would give me a restful nights sleep so that I may wake up in the morning refreshed in body and spirit and ready to do Your will. Not passing the BBB in a timely manner has been seen as a non starter. Elon knows this stuff. Might be all talk to hold their feet to the fire.
