I don’t watch Tucker’s programs unless they are highlighted here or elsewhere, so I don’t know what his positions are. I know he had the controversial Nick Fuentes on his program, and maybe others, but does anyone know what Tucker has actually been saying?
It doesn’t matter what he said. The YSM will distort it or just create it if need be.
True, but some conservatives are also upset with him, I think. There has been a big dust-up because Ben Shapiro called Candace out for what she’s been doing to Erika and TPUSA, and I think Tucker is considered to be in her camp, but I’m not sure. In this case I agree with Shapiro.
The whole conservative influencer / podcast industry seems like it’s going off the rails.
Without transparency about who is paying them (and how much), I don’t know how any of them can be trusted.
Much of what Tucker talks about is where he defends himself against criticism by Jews and Israel, from a free speech standpoint, or just plain logic and reason, and all of that makes him sound very reasonable. But I think the thing that has gotten Tucker where he is now, and that has really antagonized his critics, is the constant use of the term “genocide” about Gaza, while soft-pedaling what happened on October 7 to a somewhat shocking degree.
It’s kind of a reverse symmetry from reality. It would be one thing for Tucker to have skepticism of both sides, but he’s well beyond that.
IMO Tucker’s acceptance of Palestinian propaganda is surprisingly uncritical. He seems to have no idea that Palestinian propaganda is orders of magnitude more deceptive than NATO/EU/Ukraine/Globalist propaganda. I think he assumes that the Palestinians are plucky underdogs who may lie a bit to pad their case, but surely they’re not better at deceiving third parties than the Ukraine side that could never fool Tucker….. right? RIGHT???
The neocons think Tucker is a fool for Putin, but I would say that his critics THERE are even bigger fools against Putin. I would not call Tucker a total fool for the Palestinians, but I don’t think he fully appreciates the skills of Pallywood.
Bottom line, for Tucker, Gaza is genocide, October 7 is just one more crime by the Israeli government, military, or both.
He drank the Gaza juice. It’s toxic.
