This was part of the long conversation I just had with my 18 year old granddaughter.
I explained it to her like this;
A white person from France is completely different from a white person from Russia. A black person from Somalia is completely different from a black person from Jamaica. A Cuban hispanic is completely different from a Mexican hispanic.
It’s not racist to NOTICE that there are cultural differences in people, because even white people from different cultures behave differently from each other.
American blacks, mostly in large groups, behave differently than American whites in large groups, in general. Not ALL the time, but it’s not racist to notice that OFTEN this is the case.
We just had another example yesterday in Louisiana. When’s the last time a white guy in America went out and killed seven of his own children, plus another child, and wounded two women, one of them the mother of some of the kids?
It’s also not racist to note that the average black IQ is lower than the average white IQ, and that low IQ’s result in poor impulse control. That’s FACT, not racism.
Until we can confront reality, we can do nothing to change what is happening.

We will never, ever fix a problem we refuse to admit exists.

We either need to reconstitute the black family unit, or figure out some other controller. Because the problem is getting bigger all the time.

It is my long-considered opinion that ALL children should have placement testing for education, in order for them to have the best environment in which to learn. But that won’t happen, because there would be more black children in some classes, and we can’t have that now, can we? Even though in a fully integrated school environment, if there were equal numbers of whites, blacks, and Asians, there would be more Asians in the highest level classes than whites or blacks. That would be ok with me, because I want all the kids to be able to learn, not get left behind because the material is too hard.

We should encourage ourselves by the excellence of our High Priest, to come boldly to the throne of grace. Besides our daily dependence upon God for present supplies, there are seasons for which we should provide in our prayers; times of temptation, either by adversity or prosperity, and especially our dying time. We are to come with reverence and godly fear, yet not as if dragged to the seat of justice, but as kindly invited to the mercy-seat, where grace reigns. We have boldness to enter into the holiest only by the blood of Jesus; he is our Advocate, and has purchased all our souls want or can desire.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. In the grounds of Chillingham Castle in Northumberland, behind a wall built in 1270, there is a herd of wild cattle.
They have been there, in that specific park, for approximately 700 years.
They are white. Small. Horned. They look vaguely like the cattle on a medieval tapestry, which is roughly what they are. The Chillingham herd is the last surviving population of genuinely wild cattle in Britain, and genetically the closest living relative of the aurochs, the wild ancestor of every domestic cow on earth.
When the estate was enclosed in the 13th century, a group of cattle was trapped inside the wall. Nobody moved them. Nobody bred them with outside stock. Nobody managed them. The wall went up, the cattle kept being cattle, and the door, essentially, was never opened again.
Seven centuries later, they are still there.
No selective breeding. No herd improvement programme. No artificial insemination. No supplementary feed beyond what the park produces. They eat the grass. They calve unassisted. The bull fights for dominance. The old are taken by winter. The young grow up in a social structure nobody taught them.
They have the lowest genetic diversity of any mammal on earth that isn’t officially endangered. By every textbook in conservation genetics, they should have collapsed a dozen times over from inbreeding depression.
They have not. They are, by veterinary standards, extraordinarily healthy. Disease resistance better than modern breeds. Fertility steady. Calving success high. They carry on regardless.
What can be learned from Chillingham.
The first is that a cattle population, left alone on land suited to them, finds its own equilibrium. No committee is required. No spreadsheet. No grass-measuring device. The cattle work it out. They have worked it out for 700 years.
The second is that the park itself is a functioning ecosystem, maintained by those cattle. The wildflowers, the ancient oaks, the soil structure, the bird populations, are all shaped by continuous low-intensity grazing by a small wild herd. It is one of the most biodiverse small landscapes in England.
The third, and most inconvenient to the modern argument, is that cattle and wild land are not in conflict. The Chillingham herd is wild cattle, on wild land, in steady state, for longer than most European countries have existed in their current form.
They are a living contradiction to almost every modern claim made about bovines and ecosystems.
They are not on anybody’s emissions chart.
They have never been invited to a conference.
They are behind their wall, in Northumberland, quietly doing what cattle have been doing since before the Norman Conquest.
They will probably still be doing it when the current debate has been forgotten.

I believe God’s Covenant with Israel as to the land is permanent and I believe He meant what He said that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed. I also support Israel as a strong ally for a host of other reasons. My theological support for Israel does not mean I would subordinate the interests of the US to those of Israel and it does not exempt Israel or immunize it from criticism. I also don’t expect others to share my belief or support Israel because of my theological beliefs about it. But I have a right to allow my theological beliefs and my overall Christian worldview to inform my policy positions, just like everyone has a right to do the same with their own worldview. So please don’t fall for the notion that all evangelical supporters of Israel are Dispensationlists and especially that they want to hasten the End Times. None in my orbit want to do that. They may say, “I hope Jesus returns soon,” but they don’t go further and say, “So let’s do everything we can to facilitate that.” That would be such a presumptuous and biblically disobedient posture. I think history and scripture support my view that Israel is the apple of God’s eye. As I and others have written, no nation in history has been dispersed for more than 5 or so generations and retained its ethnic identity and language, but Israel did. I believe the Bible is clear that when God promised Abraham He would bless all nations through him he meant Jews and Gentiles alike and he was referring to the Gospel — way back in Genesis. So yes, certain promises in the Abrahamic Covenant do extend to Gentiles. But not the land promise. And from a Christian standpoint (again in my view, because by no means do I speak for all evangelicals) God isn’t done with the Jewish people in any way. Read Romans 11. They are the vine and we are the branches grafted in. You can believe if you wish that we Israel-supporting evangelicals are all sitting around reading the Scofield Bible. I’ve never read it. Don’t let the trouble-makers scare you into thinking Israel-supporting evangelicals are up to no good and would ever subordinate the interests of the US for Israel. The growing anger over the AI industry’s obsession with building massive and resource-intensive data centers across the country is as palpable than ever.
A recent survey by the Pew Research Center highlighted widespread public concern over the facilities’ environmental harms, effects on home energy costs, and the quality of life of nearby residents.
These concerns do seem justified. Experts have found that data centers can spike local electricity prices, generate copious amounts of greenhouse gases, and place a major strain on freshwater resources.
Now, a self-described content creator and digital artist named Will Hollingsworth who spoke up during a city council meeting in Ravenna, Ohio — a small town of 11,000 residents — is turning heads with his passionate argument against data centers. The council’s chambers became overwhelmed with a crowd of almost 100 people during the April 10 meeting, which hosted a debate over a proposed 12-month moratorium on data center construction in the area inspired by a nearby community’s own moratorium.
Hollingsworth’s four-minute speech perfectly summarizes why the backlash is starting to reach a tipping point, as more politicians are calling for a moratorium on new construction.
“These facilities can use millions of gallons of water per day,” he said, as seen in a video that went viral over the weekend. “We are being asked to drain our reservoirs so a chatbot can write a poem or so our sheriff can generate a picture of himself standing next to Bigfoot,” he added, picking up laughter in the room.
Hollingsworth said that he used to rely on AI at his job overseeing video content production at a mattress company, making his point of view particularly noteworthy. He explained that he used to feed AI image generating app Midjourney “prompts to create the perfect commercial, training the very machine that would eventually replace me as three months later they would lay me off.”
Now he’s become a foe of the tech, he said.
“They want us to trust a trillion dollar industry that tells us with a straight face that they can suck five million gallons of water out of our ground a day,” Hollingsworth argued, to “use it as a liquid heat sink, and return it to our rivers without a single consequence.”
Yet the water “does not stay in the loop,” he explained, but “evaporates into the sky by millions of gallons,” while AI companies downplay the amount of “forever chemical runoff” which is used to “bleed the lines to remove toxic sludge.”
“They say the water is filled once and recycled forever,” Hollingsworth said. “In a laboratory, that might be true. But we aren’t living in a laboratory. We’re living in Ohio.”
The content creator also pointed out how few jobs these data centers could offer, despite being a massive strain on resources.
“A big employer who uses the water of 50,000 people… which only hires about ten people is not an employer,” Hollingsworth said. “They are an extraction.”
“I am not a cynic when it comes to technology,” he concluded. “I am a believer in community. I believe that a drop of clean water for a Ravenna child is worth more than a billion AI generated images. Let us choose the child.”
His powerful speech clearly struck a chord. Beyond the assembled committee voting for a one-year moratorium on all new data centers in the area, other netizens lauded him for speaking up.
“There it is right there,” one Reddit user wrote. “Lies, lies and more lies from megacorps invested up to their eyeballs in having just a few people in government believe them.”
“God damn that was good,” another user wrote. “Seriously this should be used as a script in every county these corporations are hustling.”
The fight is far from over. Ravenna is only one of several locations across the state being eyed for data center expansion projects. And plenty of other battles are being fought in other parts of the country as well, as the anger continues to grow.
Just earlier this week, voters in a small town outside of St. Louis, Missouri, were furious after city council approved a $6 billion data center. As Politico reports, local residents showed up in droves, successfully unseating four incumbents mere days later.
“I do hope other towns stand up and speak out like I did,” Hollingsworth later argued in a comment on Reddit. “I know I’m not the only good orator here in the country, maybe this will inspire a wave of political action!”
