This DePat Tuesday Open Thread honors the author of the original Tuesday open thread on this site, namely the late Susie Sampson, a.k.a. Deplorable Patriot, among her other handles, pen names, etc.

At one time, DePat handled FOUR daily open threads here, in addition to taking care of her relatives, choir duties, and numerous other responsibilities. She was a powerhouse – a dynamo – a true force of nature.

DePat’s faith in Trump, Q, “The Plan”, the White Hats, and “the anons” in general, was legendary. Although I didn’t always agree with her quick acceptance of some sketchier evidence and fringier theories, I will gladly admit to “coming around” to numerous so-called “conspiracy theories” which she championed first. I was always careful to give her credit for being right, too, when I had been wrong.

It is impossible to overstate how much DePat did for not only this site, but for her country. I urge all to say a quick prayer of thanks, whenever you think of her, for the privilege of knowing, in life or after death, such an exemplary human being, and lover of God.

And thank you, Susie, for the firm foundation which you left us, when you were called to your true home!

Nork Spies Are Real

I was reminded of something very interesting by the following video. I’ll get to my story after the video, because the video makes my story a lot more believable.

About half-way into this video, I started thinking “No way! This is AI-generated bullshit!” But it’s NOT bullshit. It’s all in Wikipedia, exactly as described, and referenced below.

Pretty wild, isn’t it?

I had suspected for years that I had the minor misfortune of running into a older male Nork spy (like this gal’s superior), back during my days working at a place that I often refer to as “Shallow State”. Now that I think about it, this was not long after the downing of the plane in the video. If so, he wasn’t as well-trained as this gal, but there were some haunting parallels.

The guy didn’t work at Shallow State, but he knew people who did, and managed to go along on a group outing as a friend of some of the South Koreans. He was pleasant at first, but upon being triggered by something I said, which I still don’t fully understand, he revealed himself as a strange, angry duck. He exhibited a very weird contempt for me, for no apparent reason, and displayed many misunderstandings of Western culture, unlike all the other (South) Koreans.

The kicker, however, was when he opened up a box of my snacks while I was gone for the day, soaked them in some liquid, greeted me in the nicest way as I returned, and tried to serve me a tray of this bizarrely ruined food, which he said he had “soaked to improve the flavor”. I told him that I needed to let it dry out first, but he appeared to have disposed of it instead, and avoided me thereafter.

All very strange. I never saw him again after that trip. Was he a bad spy, or just a weirdo? It remains a mystery.

IMO, we still need to be careful of Norks. North Korea is still up to tricks, as mentioned in the following video….
