What would it take to win a battle for the narrative when your enemy has control of MSM, big tech, social media, and more? Not only do they have control, but they have successfully “brainwashed” an extremely large portion of the population into blindly following every word they say.

In order to win this type of irregular warfare, you would need to dismantle your enemy’s stranglehold on the narrative but you would somehow have to bypass them to do so. You need get people the Truth in a way that can’t be controlled. Once the Truth is unleashed, there is no going back.

So let’s use some game theory here.

There was a team of “Trump loyalists” working to weed out the deep state in the early days of Trump’s Presidency and Trump was aware of what they were doing – he instructed them to it. The fact that Rich Higgins was part of that group of “loyalists” is crucial. Higgins is an expert in irregular warfare, he went on to partner with an expert in strategic communications and information operations, and his memo perfectly details the ongoing irregular warfare I’ve outlined in this series. Higgins knew exactly what kind of battle for the narrative they were up against which means all of them, including Trump, knew exactly what they were up against.

With all that said, what has been the one thing that has worked to dismantle the deep state’s stranglehold on the narrative, while bypassing them in the process?

Wouldn’t Q be the most logical answer?

I haven’t read through the Q drops in their entirety, not even close – I have only seen a handful of drops from people who have shown them to me. Yet, I can objectively see that Q has become one the most valuable weapons in this battle for the narrative. The awakening it sparked is undeniable.

By August of 2017, all members of “the hit list” squad were gone from the NSC and then just a few months later, in October of 2017, Q started the drops. I’m not saying any of the individuals discussed in this article are part of the Q team, I’m just saying there are some interesting connections that can be made.

Choose to not believe it, but there is a sense to what is outlined in the series.

BlackRock Sells Out US Interests For ‘Personal Favors’ In China, Consumer Group Director Says

BlackRock, the world’s largest investment manager that oversees $10 trillion in client funds, has positioned itself as a socially conscious firm. However, the company is choosing China over the United States as it advances its environmental and social priorities, according to Will Hild, executive director of Washginton-based nonprofit Consumers’ Research.

Hild said BlackRock CEO Larry Fink is “selling out the interests of American consumers and American companies in the United States, in return for personal favors for BlackRock in mainland China,” during a recent interview with EpochTV’s “China Insider” program.

Fink has been one of the most prominent advocates for ESG investment, which is investing in companies that agree to uphold certain environmental, social, and governance standards.

However, according to Fink, ESG “is an excuse for Wall Street to push politics into corporate America.” In other words, Wall Street is pushing ESG policies that “could never be achieved at the ballot box,” he added.

Additionally, BlackRock has also taken up the position of supporting a net-zero emission future. The company’s website tells its clients that “climate transition creates a historic investment opportunity.” In a 2020 letter to CEOs, Fink wrote that “climate risk is investment risk.”

While BlackRock has pushed U.S. companies such as ExxonMobil to embrace green energy, it has not taken the same approach with Chinese firms, according to Hild.

Well, that certainly explains a lot.

They can’t control Exxon, though.

Sundance notices price slashing is about to commence:

There it is, Samsung Signal Flare, Demand Side Contraction, Inventories Too High, Request Suppliers Stall Shipments

We have been waiting for the non-essential durable goods side of the manufacturing sector to start showing evidence of demand side contraction in consumer purchases.  There have been subtle sector-by-sector indicators of consumer spending shifts for several months; however, today we get the direct evidence from Samsung.

Samsung is one of the leading manufacturers of consumer electronics and products that require chips.  For three months the electronics sector has shown background signals that inventory was not moving.  One of the more recent indicators of a demand side contraction was the lack of upward price pressure inside the electronics sector.  Essentially, consumers are not purchasing the current inventory, so prices are actually dropping in this segment.

Despite overall inflation of 8.6% within the CPI, deep inside the category indexes you will note that electronic prices are actually dropping.  Televisions -9.5%, Video equipment -4.3%, etc.  Video and audio products overall dropped in price 1.4% for May, and dropped 5.2% year-over-year.

The supply chain in this sector is lengthy. Meaning inventory builds slowly as consumers stop purchasing in the USA.  Retail store inventory turns slow, store inventory climbs, then warehouses inventories climb as stores do not need product. The negative boxcar effect travels back to the manufacturer overseas over the course of several purchase cycles.  Eventually, everyone within the sector is telling the supplier we do not need product.  Then the manufacturer has to quickly slowdown raw material.

Talk about big moves:

Caterpillar to relocate its HQ from Illinois to Texas after 100 years because it will ‘attract new talent and opportunities’ as it joins Elon Musk’s Tesla as latest firm to leave woke state

Oops. That’s only one of Illinois’s largest employers.

Construction machinery company Caterpillar announced it would relocate its headquarters from Illinois to Texas after 100 years to ‘attract new talent.’

The company announced the news on Tuesday that it would be moving to Irving sometime this year and would be relocating most of its staff. The company told Fox News that it believes most of its roughly 230 Deerfield corporate employees will move.

The company – which boasts more than 100,000 employees globally – has had a presence in the Republican state since the 1960s, but Illinois remained the largest concentration of employees in the world, Fox News reported.

Border stuff:

Border Patrol Agents Fume as DHS Prepares to Punish Officers Caught Up in ‘Whip’ Controversy: ‘Bull—-‘

The Department of Homeland Security has announced that they plan to take punitive action against multiple agents who were caught up in debunked allegations that they whipped Haitian migrants in Del Rio in 2021.

The move has evoked fury among Border Patrol agents, who see it as just another attack on a group with already low morale among agents seeing a politicized investigation, hoping to deliver a beneficial outcome for the White House, even at cost to the department as a whole.

One agent described it as “f—ing bull—t.”

“What we’re seeing right now is the executive branch weaponizing the Office of Professional Responsibility to go after what President Biden perceives as political opponents,” National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “He doesn’t like the Border Patrol. He has never liked the mission of the Border Patrol. And now he is going after these agents because he panders to open border activists. This should never happen in this country.”

Here’s the thing when it comes to the border and the Brandon administration’s track record in court:

White House Border Policy Racks Up Losses in Court

Joe Biden in 2020 promised he would return “normalcy” to the White House, that the adults would be back in charge, and that America would enter a new era of prosperity. In other news, the Titanic is an unsinkable ship and Enron stock is the foundation of a solid investment portfolio.

It is becoming difficult for even the most partisan Biden supporter to put a positive spin on the current administration’s growing list of failures. The centerpiece of the White House’s calamity is its immigration policy, which is deeply unpopular with a majority of Americans. It is even less popular in America’s courts, where judges continue to reject Biden’s attempt to impose a unilateral vision of a borderless country and all the suffering that comes with it.

This is a much-needed check on executive power. From the moment he walked into the Oval Office as president, Biden has reset America’s immigration policy on a radical and dangerous trajectory.

Attacks on pro-life centers:

Pro-Life Facilities Are Under Attack. A Top DOJ Official Called Them ‘Fake Clinics.’

Civil rights division chief Kristen Clarke criticized the centers following a Supreme Court decision issued in their favor in 2018. Clarke said the centers, which counsel pregnant women on alternatives to abortion, were “harmful” and “predatory” against women of color. She also referred to them with the hashtag, “ExposeFakeClinics.”

Clarke’s stance on the centers offers a potential explanation for the Justice Department’s refusal to investigate a string of attacks on pro-life centers since the May 2 leak of a draft Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) asked Attorney General Merrick Garland last week to investigate the incidents as acts of domestic terrorism. Garland has yet to open an investigation, even though he said on Sept. 6 he would investigate crimes against “reproductive health center[s]” under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act).

Clarke oversees investigations of potential FACE Act violations. She charged nine people under the statute in March for blocking the entrance to a Washington, D.C., abortion provider.

And then there’s this:

Here’s the graphic:

And the DOJ just doesn’t seem interested.

MEMES!

And now for the business portion of the post borrowed from Tuesday:

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey. A third site has been added for site outages of longer duration.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And Auntie DePat’s requests:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

Dear KMAG: 20220613 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And indeed, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

…and we will have fun doing it, too!

The Rules

Boilerplate, more or less, but worth reading again and again, if only for the minor changes, and to stay out of moderation.

The bottom line is Free Speech. Theories and ideas you don’t agree with must be WELCOME here, and you must be part of that welcoming. But you do NOT need to be part of any agreement.

Bottom line – respect other people’s FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.

Our only additional requirement is that you do so NICELY. Or at least try to make some effort in that direction.

SO….. [ENGAGE BOILERPLATE…..]

We must endeavor to persevere to love our frenemies – even here.

Those who cannot deal with this easy requirement will be forced to jump the hoops of moderation, so that specific comments impugning other posters and violating the minimal rules can be sorted out and tossed in the trash.

In Wheatie’s words, “We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

That includes the life skill of just ignoring certain other posters.

We do have a site – The U Tree – where civility is not a requirement. Interestingly, people don’t really go there much. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in an “argument” that can’t really stay civil, please feel free to “take it to the U Tree”. The U Tree is also a good place to report any technical difficulties, if you’re unable to report them here. Please post your comment there on one of Wolf’s posts, or in reply to one of Wolf’s comments, to make sure he sees it (though it may take a few hours).

We also have a backup site, called The Q Tree as well, which is really The Q Tree 579486807. You might call it “Second Tree”. The URL for that site is https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/. If this site (theqtree.com) ever goes down, please reassemble at the Second Tree.

If the Second Tree goes down, please go to The U Tree, or to our Gab Group, which is located at https://gab.com/groups/4178.

We also have some “old rules” and important guidelines, outlined here, in a very early post, on our first New Year’s Day, in 2019. The main point is not to make violent threats against people, which then have to be taken seriously by law enforcement, and which can be used as a PRETEXT by enemies of this site.

In the words of Wheatie, “Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

A Moment of Prayer

Our policy on extreme religious freedom on this site is discussed HERE. Please feel free to pray and praise God anytime and anywhere.

Thus, please pray for our real President, the one who actually won the election.

You may also pray for our nation, our world, and even our enemies.

Call To Battle

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

SPECIAL SECTION: Message For Our “Friends” In The Middle Kingdom

I normally save this for near the end, but…basically…up your shit-kicking barbarian asses. Yes, barbarian! It took a bunch of sailors in Western Asia to invent a real alphabet instead of badly drawn cartoons to write with. So much for your “civilization.”

Yeah, the WORLD noticed you had to borrow the Latin alphabet to make Pinyin. Like with every other idea you had to steal from us “Foreign Devils” since you rammed your heads up your asses five centuries ago, you sure managed to bastardize it badly in the process.

Have you stopped eating bats yet? Are you shit-kickers still sleeping with farm animals?

Or maybe even just had the slightest inkling of treating lives as something you don’t just casually dispose of?

中国是个混蛋 !!!
Zhōngguò shì gè hùndàn !!!
China is asshoe !!!

And here’s my response to barbarian “asshoes” like you:

OK, with that rant out of my system…

Biden Gives Us Too Much Credit

…we can move on to the next one.

Apparently Biden (or his puppeteer) has decided we’re to blame for all of the fail in the United States today.

Sorry to disappoint you Joe (or whoever), but you managed to do that all on your own; not only that, you wouldn’t let us NOT give you the chance because you insisted on cheating your way into power.

Yep, you-all are incompetent, and so proud of it you expect our applause for your sincerity. Fuck that!!

It wouldn’t be so bad, but you insist that everyone else have to share in your misery. Nope, can’t have anyone get out from under it. Somehow your grand vision only works if every single other person on earth is forced to go along. So much as ONE PERSON not going along is enough to make it all fail, apparently.

In engineering school we’re taught that a design that has seven to eight billion single points of failure…sucks.

Actually, we weren’t taught that. Because it would never have occurred to the professors to use such a ridiculous example.

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Kamala Harris has a new nickname since she finally went west from DC to El Paso Texas: Westward Hoe.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

Spot Prices

All prices are Kitco Ask, 3PM MT Friday (at that time the markets close for the weekend).

Last week:

Gold $1,852.30
Silver $22.00
Platinum $1022.00
Palladium $2,074.00
Rhodium $15,500.00

So here it is, Friday, 3PM MT after markets closed and we see:

Gold $1,873.20
Silver $22.00
Platinum $982.00
Palladium $2,020.00
Rhodium $14,900.00

All over the map here. Gold up, silver is exactly where it was (though I am sure it moved around a bit over the week), all of the PGMs down. That says to me the industrial users are demanding less, and gold is serving as a safe haven.

But that interpretation is worth exactly what you just paid for it.

JWST Update

JWST instrument commissioning proceeds apace.

This morning, I saw they had two of the seventeen instrument modes checked off. It’s now 3PM mountain time…and they have four!

That tells me they’re working a bunch of them (maybe even all of them) at the same time.

The JWST blog is busy, too. As some here noted, they’ve already dealt with a micrometeor strike. They expected these and designed with that in mind. (Though if a meteor isn’t so “micro-” there could be problems. However, the bigger they are the less likely they are.)

https://blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2022/06/08/webb-engineered-to-endure-micrometeoroid-impacts/

Also they’ve posted about the near infrared imager and slitless spectrometer (NIRISS), one of the four instruments on JWST (there’s a fifth, but it’s used to keep track of the JWST itself). They can do spectroscopy on one object, or everything in the field of view at once, interfermetry (getting increased resolution at the cost of some light), and just plain old imaging to back up and/or supplement NIRCam.

https://blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2022/06/03/the-modes-of-webbs-niriss/

If I were to try to overstate how important spectroscopy is to astronomy, I’d fail. It’s thanks to spectroscopy that we can tell radial velocity (how fast a star is moving towards or away from us), how fast something is rotating, what it is made of, and (with a lot of sophisticated processing) the mass and period of many exoplanets and even what the atmosphere of an exoplanet might contain (provided in the latter case we are in the exoplanet’s orbital plane), all without leaving the comfort of our home planetary system (and let’s face it, we still haven’t much choice there). The overwhelming majority of what we know about “out there” is thanks to spectroscopy. And it was key in discovering at least a dozen chemical elements, including one that was discovered in the sun before it was discovered here (I’ve told that story–hint/reminder, it’s the chemical element named after the sun).

You may have wondered how they’re going to decide who gets to use JWST. After all there are more astronomers than there are James Webb Space Telescopes. And, it turns out, it’s a bureaucratic process.

https://blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2022/06/09/scheduling-webbs-science/

I know that some of the available (24/7 minus takedowns for maintenance, usually adjusting mirror secoment alignments) time is held in reserve, at the discretion of the manager of the JWST. That’s quite a privilege, but other than his personal research, he’ll be expected to use it to study things that go kaboom or comets, especially comets about to hit things. In other words, if a supernova were to go off near by (a totally unanticipatable event), it gets priority over the guy who wants an image of NGC-1234…and that guy would probably even agree with the decision; we haven’t had a really gonzo supernova since before Galileo’s telescope. (The fact that the one back in 1987 was visible even though it was a hundred thousand light years away tells you something about how bright a star like Betelgeuse would be if it went kaboom! since Betelgeuse is a couple of hundred times closer. Yes, it would be visible in daylight.)

Meanwhile, we wait for the awesome.

An Interesting Point Made Here

Yesterday cthulhu linked to this:

https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2022/06/09/let-the-leftists-beat-each-other-up-n2608458

(Very first post for Friday.)

And the first part of that was worth a read:

When we conservatives decline to volunteer as a dish in the progressive buffet, the leftists have no choice but to feed upon each other. We will see more of it as conservatives wake up and smell the kombucha – leftists only win when they can bully and intimidate, and if we choose not to let them do that to us, then it’s not as if they will give up their go-to move. No, they will turn on each other, and we will gobble up the Orville Redenbacher as they fight to the death for our amusement.

And we are amused.

Donald Trump was the first guy to push back, really push back, but it was not simply his pugnacious nature and cunning ability with mean tweets that made him important. It was his moral position. At some level, for some reason, so many establishment Republicans had approached these bad faith actors as legitimate critics who were at best misguided and who might actually have a germ of a point within their critiques. Trump, however – having been among them for decades and understanding exactly who they are – read them correctly. He considered them garbage.

It was not so much that Trump fought back, it was that he made it clear that the leftists are scum. And because he did not credit them with any moral stature, their slings and arrows bounced off his armor. Of course, Ron DeSantis has taken the same tack with them, refusing to credit them with any kind of merit. And that deprives them of their most powerful weapon – their victims’ complicity.

The thing about words is that they can only hurt you if you let them. At one point, “racist” and “sexist” and all the other lies might have stung. Now, we consider them a punchline and an outright slander. We laugh at them.

Kurt Schlichter on TownHall

This is precisely what Ayn Rand called “the sanction of the victim.” It comes about when, deep down, you cede moral authority to your oppressors. Rand would, in particular, highlight the effects of an altruistic world view in this connection, i.e., where your worth is measured by how much self sacrifice you are willing to do. If you can be guilt-tripped for not being willing to give up something you value, to help out a bum on the street, they’ve got you.

This sort of thing is, I believe, why many RINOs cave regularly. They believe that the Left has a bunch of impractical ideals, and they think of themselves as practical people who have to rein those impractical people in. But the problem is, they think of the left’s ideals as ideals that can’t be achieved practically–which means they say to themselves, “Well it’s nice in theory.” So they can be pressured to help try. After all, it would be nice if real communism could work, so why not get as close to it as is practical?

But in doing this they cede the moral high ground to the Left. Which is why RINOs are inveterate invertebrates.

Rand, of course, thought altruism (which she considered sacrificing something of greater value for something of lesser value, about which more below) was a crock, so she was immune to that.

But even those immune to altruistic appeals might not be immune to accusations of “sexism” or “racism” and modern Leftism isn’t so much about Marxism of the “workers own the means of production” as it is about race and sex inequality “built in” to the culture. (Though the former is supposed to be a means to correct the latter…or maybe the latter is the excuse to implement the former…ah, well, who cares which one it is?) So they pull guilt trips that can only work if you cede them the high ground. If you do that, you will feel you deserve what they do to you.

That’s a major philosophical thread underlying the entire novel Atlas Shrugged.

(By the way in her non-fiction writing Ayn Rand was explicit that she was not talking about “sacrificing” to put your kids through college or things like that–you are trading a lesser value (that fancy car you couldn’t buy) for something of greater value (your children’s futures. She would not consider that an actual sacrifice but rather a high price paid for something of great value. A sacrifice is giving up something more valuable to you, in exchange for something less valuable. With that in mind, Ayn Rand opposed sacrifices in life, often gotten from people through guilt trips.)

And now, thanks in part to the Left going over the top with accusations of “racism” and in part to Trump showing them to be paper tigers, the Left is losing their power…and they’re losing their shit over that.

Quarters

The subject of the new quarters came up a couple of days ago, and I thought I’d bring in a historical perspective.

It’s hard to imagine today, but in the early days quarters weren’t that popular a denomination. Since, back then, the mint made coins to order by anyone who brought silver or gold in, that meant if people didn’t specifically ask for it, they didn’t make it. And most people bringing in a bunch of silver would want it done as dollars or half dollars.

But, nevertheless they did make a few thousand of them in 1796.

Note there’s no denomination on the coin. You were expected to know what it was by its size. And the other silver coins had the same design themes on them.

They made a few more quarters in the 1800s (i.e., 180x, not the 19th century) with a different eagle (and now, the denomination is given as 25 C though it looks like an afterthought):

And then in 1807 or so they changed designs completely.

Collectors refer to the prior designs as “Draped Bust/Small Eagle” and “Draped Bust/Large Eagle” and this design is the “Capped Bust” because Liberty is wearing a cap. This ran until mid 1838, though the recently-founded New Orleans mint adopted it a couple years later. Again, all silver denominations basically used the same theme, the coins looked like each other except for size and the written denomination (half dimes, dimes, quarters, and halves–there were no capped bust dollars at all). [Yes, half dimes…silver coins half the size of a dime. The nickel we know and love didn’t exist until 1866.]

Again, there’d be multi-year gaps where no one ordered quarters from the mint.

Next was the “Liberty Seated” series which ran until 1891, i.e., it lasted longer than the mint had been in existence when it was adopted. Again, all of the silver coins basically looked the same. We had silver dollars again. But the half-dime and dime were a little different, instead of an eagle they had a wreath on the reverse. So we finally started to see a breaking up of the monolithic one-design-for-all-denominations rule.

There was one major change to this in 1866 for the quarter, half dollar and dollar, because “In God We Trust” was added, on a ribbon over the eagle’s head and wings.

A multimillionaire might decide it would be fun to get one of each date and mintmark, in uncirculated condition…that’s the typical collecting type, albeit with a budget the typical collector doesn’t have (most collectors don’t even delve into Liberty Seated and earlier coinage at all; if you collect by type–one of each design type rather than one of each year and mint mark–you have a considerable advantage; you need six or eight coins instead of over a hundred).

That multimillionaire will never succeed if he undertakes that quest. Many dates, especially from the San Francisco mint, are unknown in uncirculated condition; i.e., absent someone opening a box in an old attic somewhere and making a discovery, there aren’t any. Period. Again, quarters were not that popular, and the mint didn’t make many. (And the Civil War was not good for specie coinage on top of that.)

The mint got bored with the Liberty Seated coinage and decided to replace it starting in 1892. We were now down to four silver denominations, the dime, quarter, and half dollar, plus two distinct types of silver dollars. The silver dollars had their own designs, now, but the dime, quarter and half dollar still had liberty seated on the obverse and an eagle (or wreath) on the reverse. Anyhow, the replacement quarter was…

And collectors are almost unanimous in finding this design to be incredibly blah. (What’s with Liberty’s neck?) This design had one big advantage though, and that is that it struck up well, with all the detail, and as it wore down, it was still readily recognizable. That was the criteria Charles Barber was working from, and he succeeded.

Why am I showing you all of this? Because people were talking about the artistry and symbolism of the new quarters. So the design has been my focus so far.

In the 1900s…as in 190x, not 19xx..none other than President Theodore Roosevelt decided our coins were artistically atrocious. Not just silver but also the coppers, nickels, and gold pieces. (Probably the only then-current design liked a lot today is the Indian head cent.) So he embarked on a crusade to change the designs. There was, at the time, a law against changing the designs more than once every twenty five years, but the then-current gold designs had been around since 1839 or 1849 depending on the denomination, so those could be done right now. Roosevelt brought well-known sculptors famous for their work into the project, and this was in the days before modern “art.” (You can look those up: Indian head quarter eagle, half eagle, eagle, and St. Gaudens double eagle, I want to focus on quarters).

But the effort to change our coinage actually did outlive Teddy Roosevelt. In 1916, under Woodrow Never-to-be-Sufficiently-Damned Wilson, the silver was addressed (and again, there was no dollar being produced at all). And this time the designs were completely different for each denomination.

So I present you the “Standing Liberty Quarter.”

Only a few were made at the tail end of 1916 and command a huge premium today, but more were made in 1917 and then there was a design change.

The shield looks different, the eagle is higher up, the stars on the reverse are rearranged…and yeah, Liberty is now overdressed.

[The modern “old wives’ tale” is that there was a huge hue and cry over the bare breast and that’s why they changed the design, but in fact little evidence of such can be found in contemporary newspapers. And John Ashcroft wasn’t even alive then.]

These coins are much, much more artistic than the Barber series, but the mint hated them. The design was nearly impossible to strike up. Oftentimes detail in Liberty’s head was just not there, and so today, if you’re shopping for one of these, an “FH” or “Full Head” designation can bring a premium. But even on “Full Head” coins, many of the rivets on the shield (and the US shield on the shield) can be soft or nonexistent.

It was difficult to mint these well in the sorts of quantities the mint was now being called upon to produce. (The “Mercury” dime and walking liberty half dollar also introduced in 1916 had similar issues…also worth looking up.)

Charles Barber was stung that his design had been dropped after 24 years (with a little creative interpretation of the exact text of the 25 year rule), and considered these designs failures–and by his criteria, as a man charged with producing designs that would strike up and wear well, he was actually right.

Washington’s 200th birthday was fast approaching, and Congress passed a bill to put Washington on the quarter in 1932. The last standing liberty quarter was made in 1930 (none dated 1931).

So now, who gets to sculpt George Washington?

The Commission on Fine Arts had hired Laura Gardin Fraser to sculpt a commemorative medal, and they suggested the same bust be used on the quarter. But instead Treasury Secretary Andrew W. Mellon chose the James Flanagan portrayal, which in turn was based on a sculpted bust by Jean-Antoine Houdon made in 1786–i.e., a sculpture made using Washington himself as a model.

A plaster copy of Houdon’s bust of Washington

So the Flanagan portrayal should be very, very close to an actual image of Washington. (It can be hard to nail down a good image of someone who lived before photography.) Anyhow, here it is:

This of course is what we’re used to. But please note, there is actual detail in Washington’s hair. By the 1960s and 1970s the master hub from which the dies are made had worn smooth from repeated use and Washington’s hair began to look like a skullcap.

A touched up version of this began to be used sometime in the 1990s, but they overdid it and it looked like Washington’s hair was made of spaghetti.

Honestly, from 1994 they couldn’t find a coin that wasn’t heavily dinged up around George’s mouth?

It only got worse in 1999. The image was shrunk slightly to make room for legends brought from the reverse for the state quarters series.

And the spaghetti looks even worse. For that matter so do the dings on the coin.

And the spaghetti hair looks even worse. (BTW, here he faces away from “In God We Trust.” This is nothing new; it has been like that since 1999.)

Still, it looks very much like before. Flanagan might not have liked what was done to his portrait, but at least it was recognizable as an attempt at his portrait.

The state quarters series, and the subsequent national seashore series ended, finally in 2021, early in the year, and the mint reverted to the 1990s full-size, spaghetti hair portrait, for just that one year (with IGWT on the left again below Washington’s chin).

On the reverse is this image of Washington’s crossing of the Delaware. (I couldn’t find a decent sharp image of the obverse of this coin; the focus was on the new reverse.)

But this was just a gap filler. We’re on to a new program for quarters, one recognizing women…and OBTW it’s quota time. One White, one “Native American,” one Black, one Asian, one Hispanic. (And we get to do this for three more years after this one. Oh joy. Oh rupture.)

(The feminazis must be downright orgasmic over the Amerind honoree, Wilma Mankiller.)

And it being women…well, it has been alleged that Mellon made his decision for the Flanagan portrait over the Fraser portrait on purely sexist grounds, and so, where better than on quarters designed to honor women should one rectify such an injustice? So Fraser’s portrait, used once on a $5 gold commemorative in 1999 (shown below), got brought back.

Well, Mellon’s choice might have been due to sexism, or it might have been that he thought this was butt ugly by comparison. Judging from the commentary here earlier this week, I’ll go with butt ugly.

On the other hand, a “Fine Arts Commission” did recommend this over the Flanagan design. So I’ll allow that perhaps sincere people could differ over which one is better.

Perhaps. 🙂

Now I’m going to come to Fraser’s defense, a bit. She and her husband, James Earle Fraser, were “real” sculptors too, just as St. Gaudens, Bela Lyon Pratt, Adolph Weinman, Victor D. Brenner, and Hermon Atkins MacNeil were (these people had all done coin designs in the early 20th century). In fact James Fraser did the Indian Head (or “Buffalo”) nickel. Laura did one of the two sides of the Oregon Trail Memorial half dollar (struck intermittently between 1926 and 1939):

She and her husband both liked to use American Indian subjects in their sculpture, and I realized earlier this week that might be why Washington looks very “Indian” in her portrayal.

(By the way the other side of that coin was done by James:)

DEAR MAGA: TGIF Open Thread 20220610

Since bartenders cannot determine what a Nutty Monk should be on a consistent basis we begin at the….

END OF MY ROPE

1 1/2 oz Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
2 tsp creme de bananes
1 oz pineapple juice
1 dash bitters

Pour the Frangelico hazelnut liqueur, creme de bananes, pineapple juice and bitters into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes, and shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.

Bananas…no thanks.

Where to start….

Maybe Republicans could consider not compromising our Second Amendment rights

Are the Republicans asking for any concession?

  • Are the Republicans asking for nationwide constitutional concealed carry, which has already been adopted in half of the states as a deterrent to criminal activity?
  • Are the Republicans asking for the elimination of the illusionary gun-free zones, better known as the locations of many or most mass killings?
  • Are the Republicans asking to harden the schools, almost as if protecting our kids is equivalent to how we protect our money in banks or government officials?
  • Are the Republicans asking for penalties or proposing remedies for simply not enforcing the 10,000+ laws already on the books regarding gun regulation that seem to fail consistently?
  • Are the Republicans asking for the elimination of former President Obama’s school-to-prison pipeline guidance idiocy that allowed, for example, the Parkland school shooting to occur because the minority killer, Nikolas Cruz, was a known risk to everyone who knew him or about him?

Perhaps even tangentially, the Republicans could ask for other concessions to save lives, since that is the stated goal.

  • Are the Republicans asking for the border with Mexico to be controlled with the funnel-and-gate technology consisting of a physical barrier with narrower access points to aggressively monitor in order to eliminate the flood of illegal drug-caused overdoses in our country, human-trafficking, rapes, and robbery, not to mention influx of diseases, including the dreaded China virus?

The list is almost endless.  However, it appears beyond the useless Republicans’ ability to think outside the agenda of the Democrats.  Meet the Democrats halfway to what they want…wash, rinse, repeat.

When it comes to protecting Supreme Court justices…the conversation is a bit different.

Shocker. McCarthy took to the floor.

Sundance chimes in:

If you know the way Washington DC thinks, specifically thinks about their own scale of importance amid a world filled with lesser people who do not understand the value of their elite place in the construction of government, then you could easily predict what is happening right now.

A previous senate bill that would have afforded security details to Supreme Court Justices, is now stalled in the House of Representatives as Nancy Pelosi and top Democrat politicians add an additional set of people who should gain the full benefit of taxpayer funded security details.

Democrats in the House are using the opportunity provided by bipartisan agreement to enhance the personal security services for the Judicial Branch, in order to assign the same privileges to staff, aides and people who work within the administration of government. DC is nothing if not predictable in their elitist view of their self-importance.

At the same time as Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, along with some insufferable republicans who pretend not to know how these issues are always manipulated to the benefit of the administrative state, are urgently constructing limits and restrictions to disarm lawful Americans; they are simultaneously building their own system of personal protective services to insure they never have to face the same physical risks they initiate upon everyone else.

Jan. 6 Committee Being Used to ‘Abolish Electoral College,’ ‘Cover Up’ for Pelosi: House Republicans

House Republicans on Wednesday spoke out against the Jan. 6 Committee, accusing the entire effort of being a “partisan witch hunt” used by Democrats to abolish the Electoral College as well as to help cover up what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) does not want the public to know about matters surrounding the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

“This committee is not about seeking the truth. It is a smear campaign against President Donald Trump, against Republican members of Congress, and against Trump voters across this country,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), the House Republican Conference chair, said at a press conference—the first of several events pushing back against the Jan. 6 Committee’s public hearings that are set to begin Thursday.

“It does not serve any true legislative or oversight purpose. And it is not about finding out why Nancy Pelosi left the Capitol so ill-prepared that day … and it will not prevent another January 6 from happening,” she added. Stefanik had previously accused the Jan. 6 panel of being a political weapon “used to cover up for Nancy Pelosi’s failures.”

Biden’s DOJ Threatens to Put a Gag Order on Trump Adviser Peter Navarro Over Claims He Is Creating a ‘Carnival Atmosphere’

On Wednesday, federal prosecutors said they wanted to provide Navarro – who says he is having trouble finding a legal team – with the grand jury evidence that led to charges so that he could prepare a defense.

But they said his conduct suggested there should be protections to ensure he does not use the material for a media campaign.

In return he accused them of trying to exploit the fact that he does not have legal representation yet.

‘The defendant’s extrajudicial statements, however, demonstrate a substantial risk that, without a protective order, the defendant will use non-public discovery for improper purposes instead of to prepare the defense he plans to present before this court,’ wrote the prosecutors.

Without having his own lawyer, they added, increased the risk.

‘The defendant has demonstrated through his public statements that he intends to litigate the merits of the pending charges in the press,’ they said in the application for a protective order.

‘Moreover, proceeding pro se, the defendant does not have an attorney who can monitor his use of non-public discovery material and who is subject to the District’s clear rules limiting extrajudicial statements and other efforts to taint the jury pool.

A gag, they add, would meet the court’s obligation ‘to avoid the “carnival atmosphere” that might accompany a case receiving substantial public attention … as this case already has, due, in part, to the defendant’s press appearances.’

The investigation into the cause of the fire below is ongoing, but a gas leak is suspected. The news stories talk about a woman lighting a candle…if that’s the case, there would already be a candle lit in the candle stand from which to draw blessed fire. If it was a gas leak, the timing was pretty perfect since there was already fire there.

Any takers?

If You’re Reading This Message, You’re Ready to Resist Tyranny

STOP IT! Just Stop It!

Leftists in the Biden administration have finally outrun their headlights and (again) exposed the failures of Marxism. What must we do to stop them now that we have that hard proof?

So, here’s a question for you: Where is the American anger at what is being done to us? Yes, done to us! There should be outrage. Yet, I only see people sheepishly wondering when the price of gas will come back down.

Joe Biden and the administration leftists again demonstrated that Marxist progressive socialism fails every time it is tried. In three key examples discussed below, it has taken just 15 months to glaringly show Marxism’s failure well beyond any logical defense.

Our leaders are not incompetent because incompetent people occasionally stumble into correct decisions. It isn’t possible to screw things up this badly, especially this quickly, if not on purpose.

Marxists must collapse our economy, our culture, the family, and our founding documents if America is to be taken out of the way and absorbed into their globalist end goal.

Memes. We must have memes.

MATTHEW 5:27-32

27“You have heard that it was said, `You shall not commit adultery.’ 28But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell. 31“It was also said, `Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of unchastity, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Dear KMAG: 20220606 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

MUST READ

Sundance lays out the whole spygate mess in a way everyone can understand. The missing piece of the puzzle was that FBI workspace, including a SCIF.

Extending the Political Surveillance Discussion with New Revelations the FBI Had a Workspace Inside Perkins Coie DC Law Offices

Last night Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) made an explosive announcement as an outcome of a whistleblower providing information to him and Jim Jordan about the FBI having a collaborative relationship with the Clinton/DNC law firm Perkins Coie.  {Go Deep} Specifically, the explosive element surrounds the FBI having a workspace within the DNC law firm that would have given Democrats an open portal into FBI databases for use in opposition research.

Secondarily, Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann being in charge of this working arrangement within Perkins Coie for the past year, since the departure of Marc Elias, becomes a far greater issue. The potential ramifications of this joint collaborative activity are vast.

The FBI can exploit the NSA database to conduct searches of all cell phone, computer, email, text message, social media, electronic communication and all private data/communication belonging to Americans; this would include geolocation.  If the FBI was operating within Perkins Coie since 2012, then the democrats have held access to fully intrusive electronic surveillance of their political opposition, or anyone else – anywhere, for a decade.

Mainstream conservative defenders of the DOJ and FBI institutions, as a result of their prior tenure inside those same agencies, have long denied the Dept of Justice and FBI are corrupt political entities.  The revelation of the FBI and Perkins Coie working collaboratively to exploit this data portal is something that people like Margot Cleveland, Andrew McCarthy, Johnathan Turley and many others need to deny in order to retain the premise of institutional credibility.

However, the FBI and DNC law firm working collaboratively on issues of joint importance goes far beyond the ‘image of impropriety or conflicted interest‘ and extends to the actual corruption within the foundational institutions of government.  Transparently, if these reports are accurate all of the inexplicable dynamics within the “two tiers of justice” suddenly reconcile.  The FBI and Perkins Coie having the ability to conduct electronic surveillance of any target is a thermonuclear level of sunlight, that reconciles years of visible issues.

Seriously, read the whole thing. It is worth every word.

About Janet Yellen not understanding inflation:

Sundance thinks there is something entirely different going on:

More Pretending, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen Pretends She Got It Wrong on Inflation, She Did Not

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has more financial and analytical resources at her fingertips than thousand hedge funds combined. When Secretary Yellen claims today that she “got it wrong” about inflation, what she is doing is continuing the game of pretending; she’s positioning the administration as incompetent, not deliberate.

The illusion of incompetence plays into the scheme of hiding the fact the administration is working through a purposeful strategy. In the game of pretending; and under the current circumstances; it is better to be seen as incompetent than recognized as working with malicious intent.  This is the illusion behind Joe Biden’s usefulness.

This is also the organized pretending game within DC that too few people will accept or admit. The Treasury Secretary and Federal Reserve Chairman are not making mistakes, they are working on a specific agenda and economic plan. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell was not late to raise interest rates, he waited on purpose. He waited for the political reason of waiting until the triggered 2021 inflation spike cycled through the full calendar year.

These are not monetary policy leaders making monetary policy mistakes. These are monetary policy political ideologues, carrying out a political agenda within the U.S. economy. This is part of what National Economic Council Chairman Brian Deese would call the “economic transition.”

All part and parcel of the Biden gaffe machine/dementia act?

Help! The (Pretend) President’s Fallen and Can’t Get Up!

In as sure a sign of a disloyal White House staff as any, reports have leaked that Joe Biden is “rattled” by cratering public approval polls and is desperately “pressing aides for a more compelling message.”  (Remember, folks: only the fairytale “narrative” matters, not Biden’s real-world dumpster fire of a presidency.)  High-level staff have been leaving the White House in droves.  Biden’s chief of staff, Ron Klain, is reportedly planning to skedaddle soon after the midterms.  A massive exodus of black staffers is undermining morale.  Old Joe is so “frustrated” with his advisers’ regular “clean-up campaign” of his public comments that he has begun reprimanding them that it is he who is president.  Meanwhile, his handlers’ never-ending efforts to save their boss from his impaired brain and loose lips have given the White House’s propaganda machine the appearance of a veritable “clown show.”

I’ve been waiting for this freak-out — the moment when either a temporarily lucid Joe or his nurse-wife Jill finally comes to the realization that this administration is on a path to being remembered as the most incompetent, corrupt, or evil (or maybe all three) in American history.  At some point, the Bidens’ wounded pride was bound to clash with Barack Obama’s maneuverings to use “ah shucks” Joe as a stalking horse for “fundamentally transforming” America into a Marxist theocracy.  (When the priests of political correctness force people to betray their consciences in order to comply with the State’s dogma, then you’re living in a theocratic dictatorship.)

A lot of very smart, savvy people have pointed out that this has never actually been Dementia Joe’s presidency.  In exchange for giving him a spot to nap behind the Resolute Desk, Biden handed his administration over to the likes of Susan Rice, Elizabeth Warren, Jim Clyburn, and many of Obama’s other communist comrades in arms eager to usher in their precious New World Order, where the few will rule and the many will obey.  Astutely, the Marxist-socialists knew that the only way to implement their brand of totalitarianism was to put a decrepit Establishment figurehead in office to provide the appearance that the Old Guard had things under control, while the New Guard began their crackdown on free speech, freedom of movement, private property, digital privacy, self-defense, and just about anything else strictly protected from government tyranny by the Bill of Rights.

Well, and then there’s this chick:

Matt Walsh’s “What Is A Woman” is out, and he got all sorts of footage from some certifiable lunatics as well as some perfectly sane people.

Election stuff:

And Vanity Fair is freaking out.

STEVE BANNON’S ELECTION-TAKEOVER DREAM IS STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE

Embracing the “precinct strategy” promoted by Steve Bannon, the GOP is reportedly preparing to sow chaos in the 2022 election by creating an “army” of poll workers and Republican lawyers to challenge voters in Democratic precincts. According to recordings obtained by Politico, the Republican National Committee has been recruiting and training poll watchers to contest votes and building a network of party-friendly attorneys to help them. The operation has been cast by Republican officials as an effort to even out party imbalances among poll workers in urban centers like Detroit. But its true aims seem clear: to gum up the democratic process in Democratic areas and lay the foundation for results to be challenged in swing states like Michigan that were key to Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.

“Come election day you create massive failure of certification,” Nick Penniman, founder and CEO of the election watchdog group Issue One, told Politico. “The real hope is that you can throw the choosing of electors to state legislators.”

The undertaking illustrates the extent to which the GOP is institutionalizing Donald Trump’s 2020 election lies—and provides a glimpse into the party’s efforts to hijack the infrastructure of the election system. “This is completely unprecedented in the history of American elections that a political party would be working at this granular level to put a network together,” Penniman said. “It looks like now the Trump forces are going directly after the legal system itself and that should concern everyone.”

In the wake of the 2020 election, Trump and his allies mounted a relentless effort to contest the results in several states he lost. Under the new operation, the party could essentially do that in real time, with trained poll watchers—many of whom appear to have volunteered for positions because they subscribe to Trump’s “rigged election” lies—in direct contact with GOP lawyers who “could intervene to block vote counts at certain precincts,” Politico reported. “Being a poll worker, you just have so many more rights and things you can do to stop something than [as] a poll challenger,” Matthew Seifried, the RNC’s election integrity director for Michigan, said in a November meeting with state GOP activists, according to a recording obtained by the outlet.

Attempted Gun Control Stuff:

Full five minute rant here:

Did anyone bother to watch?

Joe Biden Demands New Gun Control Measures, Assault Weapon Ban, Magazine Capacity Limits, Red Flag Laws, Gun Mfr Liability and More

With barely more than a third of the country supporting the installed occupant of the White House, Joe Biden took to the podium tonight to demand a litany of new gun restrictions.  Biden called for the banning of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines through reinstating the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban, noting that if that can’t happen, the government should raise the legal age to purchase such weapons from 18 to 21.

Biden also called on congress to construct new federal background checks, which sounded a lot like a federal registration of gun ownership.  Also, he is demanding “red flag” laws that will allow schools, counsellors, doctors and others to flag an individual as a threat to themselves or others, thereby removing their right to gun ownership.   Biden also said he want’s congress to ban large capacity magazines limiting all firearms to five bullets.

Other stuff:

MATTHEW 5:1-12

1Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down his disciples came to him. 2And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: 3“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. 5“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. 6“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. 7“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. 8“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. 10“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11“Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Yeah…JP just, uh, hits WAAAAAAAYYYYYY too close to home.

Dear KMAG: 20220530 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Back in the lifeguarding days, we called version of this Tornado Jimmies. Jimmy…what a guy.

Okay, this week:

Other than the shooting in Texas which has been discussed ad nauseum on yesterday’s daily featuring Sadie and Butterfly, not much earth shattering has happened.

When it rains, it pours. Thursday, it poured.

Debt vs Autonomy by Dr. Malone:

If you occasionally experience a vague sense that you are being intentionally controlled via indebtedness, you should probably listen to that internal voice. To illustrate with examples from the present, the most common explanation for why physicians have not spoken up about the weaponization and manipulation of public health information and policies during the “Coronacrisis” is that they are deeply indebted due to the loans taken out to enable their extended and expensive education, and have no practical choice other than to comply with the mandates imposed on them by government, insurance agencies, and their host institutions (academic or private hospital chains). They have a profound financial conflict of interest- comply or go bankrupt. In large part, the physicians and medical scientists who have spoken up about the compromised medical ethics, regulatory standards, mis- and disinformation propagated by governments and WHO (including intentionally withheld or manipulated medical and epidemiological information) have been financially independent, often senior with high status or established independent medical practices, or otherwise have been decoupled from mechanisms or institutions which have been weaponized to force compliance with centralized edicts. In other words, the majority of those who have spoken out have freedom to speak BECAUSE they are (relatively) financially independent.

Interesting tidbit about the pilots vs. the airlines:

18 Major Airlines, FAA, and DOT to Be Sued Over COVID Vaccine Mandates

“Fundamentally, this case is about whether Americans should be required to choose between their livelihoods and being coerced into taking an experimental, dangerous medical treatment,” reads the lawsuit (pdf).

Plaintiffs are mostly unvaccinated pilots, flight attendants, as well as other Atlas staff.

“It is also about the safety of America’s airline industry. Should pilots—under federal regulation required to be among the healthiest workers in the United States—who have taken an experimental ‘vaccine’ that is now shown to have potentially deadly, long-term side effects, be allowed to fly massive aircraft in our skies? While those who have (smartly) refrained from such a course be forced out of their jobs?” it states.

Atlas Air is one of the industry’s largest cargo carrier companies and the world’s largest operator of the Boeing 747 aircraft.

The law firm was founded by Att. John Pierce, who founded the National Constitutional Law Union. He previously represented George Papadopoulos in connection with the 2016 “Russia Hoax,” reaching a dismissal of the DNC’s case and helping secure a presidential pardon. He is also currently representing defendants being charged in connection to the Jan. 6 Capitol breach.

“So the complaint has been filed. We’re in the process of serving everyone. And then, we’ll likely be looking for some kind of injunctive relief here soon to make sure that all the COVID-related mandates stop immediately. And then we’ll proceed [with] litigation, motion, practice, and discovery and then onward to trial eventually,” Pierce told The Epoch Times.

This week, John Pierce Law plans to file another lawsuit against United Airlines.

“We’ll be hitting basically all of them in sequence, and then we’ll be going after the FAA as well. We’re gonna get these vaccine mandate type of rules and COVID restrictions ruled unconstitutional. And we’re gonna get findings that there was discrimination under Title Seven. We’re gonna get punitive damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress and things like that,” Pierce said.

“It’s going to require a big fix, ultimately. And that’s probably going to require legislation and kind of getting all the stakeholders at the table, but the first step is civil litigation.”

Airlines, which are government contractors, are affected by President Joe Biden’s order from September of last year that states all employees of those companies have to be vaccinated against the Chinese Communist Party virus.

Pierce said that as soon as he heard about the airline mandates he predicted that it would be the next big wave of litigations.

“[These lawsuits are] absolutely crucial. It’s a very, very red line—If you get to the point where you have to choose between getting an experimental drug shot in your arm and your paycheck, that’s just unAmerican, it’s unconstitutional, it’s outrageous, it’s sickening.”

“If that’s not the hill to die on when it comes to liberty, that’s about as close as I can imagine it,” Pierce said.

Josh Yoder, a major airline pilot and a spokesperson for Freedom Flyers who recently supported the trucker-led “The People’s Convoy,” says that there has been harassment, threats, intimidation, vaccine injuries, and even “suicides that have come out of these mandates.”

“We’re not doing class action. We’re doing individual litigants. And the reason we’re doing it that way is because so many people have been harmed and people have experienced different levels of harm. We have the unvaccinated who have been harassed, threatened, and intimidated into getting vaccinated. Then we have many people as well who got vaccinated against their will, who were coerced and forced into doing it under threat of losing their employment,” Yoder said.

“And then, in addition, we have the vaccine-injured, and the numbers of vaccine-injured are growing by the day,” Yoder went on, “It’s just incredible what’s happening with pilots.”

Our own P-Rex had a good one yesterday. Pay attention. This is important:

The FIRST domino is about to fall

I want to remind you guys of a few FACTS. FACTS that are NOT being mentioned in this.

1) yep the info came from Hillary (WHERE did she get it?)

2) yep the FBI KNEW that Sussman worked for Hillary (they want you to naively believe that the FBI did NOT know this..it is their JOB to know, it is called VETTING a source, and it is the FIRST thing you do, Sussman was an FBI informant, as was Joffe. They KNOW them and what they were doing and for WHO)

3) The info on Alfa was manufactured (Joffe and Jean Camp) as part of a BROADER narrative. Now what was the impetus FOR that broader narrative? Of course it was the “Steele” Dossier. EVERYTHING the Cabal did was based on the predicate that that document was TRUE, and they were ALL trying to get ANY shred of evidence to vindicate, propagate, and prop UP the “Steele” dossier This was but ONE track on a multifaceted attack by MULTIPLE agencies including FOREIGN ones.

4) The BROADER narrative, and what STARTED it and WHO REALLY created it, for WHOM and WHY is what the FBI, MSM, and the Cabal are DESPERATELY trying to STILL hide.

5) Durham is ON this. Sussman, I bet WILL be tabbed as the fall guy, but WILL skate because of the leftist judge. BET on it. That IGNORES this important FACT Someone paid for the “Steele” dossier to be created. Someone went to a LOT of trouble and expense to propagate the dossier. Someone had ENOUGH political clout plus AUTHORITY to make 17 govt agencies, plus FOREIGN govt’s to buy all in on this farce, AND to prop it up at ALL costs. Hillary also bought the dossier, but was she the FIRST REQUESTOR or the benefactor of the highest bid? WHO was the seller?

This started in the NSA, FBI and CIA, but was NOT limited to those agencies ALONE.

The True Evil of the World Economic Forum

That’s where we are today, as the world’s 1% of the 1% celebrate their own magnificence in Davos and plot mankind’s future without even the pretense of seeking mankind’s consultation, let alone permission.  “The future is not just happening,” Schwab proclaimed to his SPECTRE-like cabal in Switzerland.  “The future is built by us, by a powerful community such as you here in this room.”  “Good German” Klaus and his merry band of global gentry have decided to take over the planet, and they’re so confident in their endeavors that they no longer deign to pretend otherwise.  Yep, here are our New World Order master plans!  Yes, we know we’ve called you guys “conspiracy theory nuts” for forty years, but you were right.  In hindsight, wasn’t it obvious?

So now the world waits in trepidation to discover just what Kaiser Klaus and his new nobility have in store for the rest of us.  Will another paralyzing round of viral pandemics bring a return of economic lockdowns, rigid population control, and injection mandates?  Will a global cyber-attack cut off the internet for billions and plunge the world into darkness?  Will Green New Steal socialism exacerbate global poverty, unleash famine, and trigger mass population die-offs?  Whatever happens next, the WEF has already gamed the situation and is ready to profit from the world’s pain.

In another era, World Economic Forum attendees would be rounded up and put on trial for undermining the health and security of sovereign nations.  Heck, if people properly understood the WEF as an evil engine for driving Marxist totalitarianism around the planet, they might skip the trials and go straight to the sentencing.

The Sinister Roots of Build Back Better

The Build Back Better plan superficially appears to be an updated and extravagant Keynesian or New Deal-style spending program, but the endgame is not economic recovery that forever establishes federal government dominance over the states in the socio-political realm. Rather, this BBB is the connection of an enlarged federal government and authority with a depreciation or elimination of U.S. sovereignty in favor of global, communist-style governance. But as if the endgame were not sinister enough, we see this updated Keynesian expansion of expenditures is not a result of economic collapse due to a devastating Depression, as was the justification in the 1930s.

Rather, simultaneously with expanded spending, the goal of the BBB plotters is to weaken the economy and usher in economic and socio-political chaos and mayhem. The southern border hands-off policy is literally facilitating the entrance of millions of unvetted persons. By limiting or eliminating natural gas and oil production in the territorial U.S. under the guise of protecting the environment, the feds incentivize other countries to expand their production of these energy sources. That production, which still means higher energy prices here in the U.S., has an equally negative effect on the world climate as fuel production in our country. But the brooding minds behind BBB want to see inflated prices. They want to see shortages. They want to see racial unrest. They want to see upsurges in crime as new theories of law inform the release of repeat offenders and shorter sentences to destabilize society. The BBB autocrats want to see a society that increasingly identifies as LGBTQ because this radical individualism weakens the social fabric. They want to see Chinese fentanyl imported to kill our citizens who are weak-minded and susceptible to drug use.

Thus, despite its resemblance to the New Deal, the BBB’s so-called governance (properly called betrayal) is at the front end linked to global health, green initiatives, and “interdependence” as an excuse for diminishing U.S. sovereignty. Initiation of these policies was not to combat financially depressive conditions but rather designed to undermine the freedoms and economic viability of the U.S. This might be likened to prescribing chemo to a patient who did not have cancer, and then, in order to justify the perverse treatment plan, injecting the patient with cancer cells in order to justify that plan.

ACTS 18:9-18

9And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not be silent; 10for I am with you, and no man shall attack you to harm you; for I have many people in this city.” 11And he stayed a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them. 12But when Gallio was proconsul of Acha’ia, the Jews made a united attack upon Paul and brought him before the tribunal, 13saying, “This man is persuading men to worship God contrary to the law.” 14But when Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, “If it were a matter of wrongdoing or vicious crime, I should have reason to bear with you, O Jews; 15but since it is a matter of questions about words and names and your own law, see to it yourselves; I refuse to be a judge of these things.” 16And he drove them from the tribunal. 17And they all seized Sos’thenes, the ruler of the synagogue, and beat him in front of the tribunal. But Gallio paid no attention to this. 18After this Paul stayed many days longer, and then took leave of the brethren and sailed for Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aq’uila. At Cen’chre-ae he cut his hair, for he had a vow.

PSALMS 47:2-7

1Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! 2For the LORD, the Most High, is terrible, a great king over all the earth. 3He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet. 4He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. [Selah] 5God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. 6Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises!

JOHN 16:20-23

20Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy. 21When a woman is in travail she has sorrow, because her hour has come; but when she is delivered of the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a child is born into the world. 22So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. 23In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father, he will give it to you in my name.

This is why I have no social life.

Have a great weekend.

Okay, this week:

  • On Thursday, the Senate voted to pass the $40 Billion Ukraine Aid bill during a baby formula shortage. Senator Rand Paul and ten others voted against it.
  • The Biden Administration’s Ministry of Truth is on hiatus after the woman tapped to head the board decided to resign after her past came back to haunt her.
  • As of this writing, Dr. Oz is still ahead in the Pennsylvania senate primary. Without the election system fixed, this week’s primaries saw a mix of wins and losses for President Trump.
  • Elon Musk continues to send arrows at Twitter. This time, he wants to know the percentage of bots operating on the platform, and the powers that be at Twitter aren’t saying.
  • Democratic witnesses testifying before Congress claim that men can get pregnant and abortion at any time is just fine.
  • The United States reopened the embassy in Ukraine.
  • Gasoline prices set a record high while the sock puppet in the White House suspended drilling leases on federal lands.
  • President Trump is said to be writing a new book called, The Crime of the Century.

Of course, there’s a lot more. For a good list of headlines, please see Liz Sheild at American Greatness.

Sundance makes an observation about the censorship issues:

Immediately after the executive meeting with employees, and perhaps in a proactive effort to control any content changes to the platform, the executives then announced a new internal “crisis misinformation” team {LINK}.  Essentially new rules that will give Twitter censors new tools and justifications to block and control content.

[TWITTER] – […]  During moments of crisis, establishing whether something is true or false can be exceptionally challenging. To determine whether claims are misleading, we require verification from multiple credible, publicly available sources, including evidence from conflict monitoring groups, humanitarian organizations, open-source investigators, journalists, and more.

Conversation moves quickly during periods of crisis, and content from accounts with wide reach are most likely to rack up views and engagement. To reduce potential harm, as soon as we have evidence that a claim may be misleading, we won’t amplify or recommend content that is covered by this policy across Twitter – including in the Home timeline, Search, and Explore. In addition, we will prioritize adding warning notices to highly visible Tweets and Tweets from high profile accounts, such as state-affiliated media accounts, verified, official government accounts.

[…] People on Twitter will be required to click through the warning notice to view the Tweet, and the content won’t be amplified or recommended across the service. In addition, Likes, Retweets, and Shares will be disabled.

[…] Content moderation is more than just leaving up or taking down content, and we’ve expanded the range of actions we may take to ensure they’re proportionate to the severity of the potential harm. We’ve found that not amplifying or recommending certain content, adding context through labels, and in severe cases, disabling engagement with the Tweets, are effective ways to mitigate harm. This new approach toward information control at Twitter comes a day after the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) said they were pausing the “DHS Disinformation Governance Bureau,” and appears to be a private sector effort by the social media platform to maintain the same purpose.

Put together the two actions by the company appear to be: (1) force Elon Musk into a position of purchasing the company at the previously agreed price regardless of the fraud that may be represented in the company financials; and (2) in case Musk goes ahead anyway, put systems in place to block any attempt to restructure the platform.

While this is only one company amid several; this is a battle inside the social media sphere that highlights just how extreme the control mechanisms are, and the entrenched position of Big Tech to avoid any challenge to their stranglehold on information content.

Bottom line is the people controlling big tech do not want the rest of us thinking for ourselves.

Leftist media want to convince you that you’re obsessed with ‘replacement theory’

Do you find it extraordinarily odd that one extremist side of the political spectrum has been driven to distraction with one topic of discussion?  Has everyone taken notice that just one far end of the spectrum can’t stop its fixation with this subject matter?

These are some of the more disturbing examples that show the anti-liberty left has lost the plot:

That should be enough to make the point.  Anti-liberty leftists and the nation’s socialist media (but we repeat ourselves) have positively gone off the rails in projecting this.  You shouldn’t be surprised, since the Buffalo chumbucket (following the example of the Zelman Partisans) also was obsessed with this issue.

For the pro-freedom right, this is a nonexistent talking point, contrasted with the liberticidal left that can’t stop talking about it.  We aren’t saying much about this, but that doesn’t stop the anti-liberty left from lying and claiming we are.  Even if you haven’t used that particular word, it has a bunch of synonyms that mean the same thing, and failing that, you’ve no doubt used all the letters in “that” word.

Or challenging narratives.

Or proving conspiracy theories true.

What is interesting in that is the number of people who were looking forward to sparing with the Ministry of Truth being disappointed. Bioclandestine had this to say:

Well that didn’t take long. I was kind of looking forward to seeing what challenges they presented to disrupt the spread of information. I was looking forward to the opportunity to prove that We the People would just adapt and outmaneuver them, again.

I should be elated due to their incompetence, but I’m not. In fact, I’m insulted. Billions at their disposal, and this is the best they could muster? The Dems thought they could stop us with a crazy-eyed theater kid… Pathetic.

Their plan was a colossal failure. They accomplished nothing, and managed to severely expose themselves in the process. All the Biden admin did was admit they are Orwellian, Unconstitutional, and Fascist. Which amplified their own malfeasance, helped spread truth and awareness more, and now are stuck with egg on their faces.

And it’s not just us, either.

The thing about the replacement theory, while it has nothing to do with mass shootings, it is an actual thing:

What Great Replacement? Oh, That One!

In an exercise in guilt by nonassociation, Associated Press reporter David Bauder explains in what pretends to be a balanced news story that there is widespread, “right-wing” hate behind the Buffalo shooting. This misfortune, he says, is related to Joe Biden’s decision to open the southern U.S. border to those who may wish to join us in this country. Lots of unkind Americans have questioned allowing millions of illegal aliens to enter the United States and providing them with de facto amnesty, together with government-financed transportation to the interior of the country. Tens of millions of Americans, apparently quite irrationally, view these steps as an attempt to create a permanent Democratic electoral majority.

For Bauder, such speculation is evidence of widespread bigotry, and he cites Mark Pitcavage of the Anti-Defamation League Center on Extremism about a “mainstream view,” which “baselessly suggests that Democrats are encouraging immigration from Latin America so that like-minded potential voters replace ‘traditional’ Americans.”

Many of those who hold such apparently baseless suspicions also adhere to a “great replacement conspiracy theory,” which argues a concerted effort is underway by American elites to use immigration to replace a predominantly white population with a nonwhite one. The chant by Charlottesville demonstrators in 2017 that white Americans would not be replaced was only the tip of a racist iceberg; and Bauder and Pitcavage link this war against being “replaced” to among others Fox News host Tucker Carlson and U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.). Both have accused Biden and the Democrats of using illegal immigration to establish a permanent Democratic majority. Stefanik, although depicted as a very centrist Republican, delivered a supposedly frightening tirade last year about how “radical Democrats” were engaged in a “permanent election insurrection” by granting amnesty to undocumented immigrants. Bauder and Pitcavage associate such rhetoric not only with the Buffalo shooting but also with white racist violence in Norway, New Zealand, and the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting in 2018.

Equally dangerous, it would seem, was the book Le Grand Remplacement published by the gay French deconstructionist Renaud Camus in 2011. According to Camus, “Europe was being invaded by Black and brown immigrants from Africa;” and this was creating a cultural and political crisis. Camus, whom we are led to believe published something comparable to the pro-Nazi Turner Diaries, allegedly provided a theoretical foundation for the recent disturbing manifestations of white supremacy ideology that Bauder and Pittcavage see all around us.

Except for the following facts, that Camus published Le Grand Remplacement, that Stefanik did warn (and quite properly so) against the use of illegal immigration as a Democratic electoral tool, and that the Buffalo killer hated blacks, there is nothing in Bauder’s partisan propaganda that is even vaguely true.

Americans have every right to be steamed over the cynical use of borders kept open to create a permanent Democratic majority. Among the prices being paid for this outrageous, unconstitutional action are the flooding of our country with fentanyl (much of it originating in China) and Central American criminal gangs. The attempt of Biden and his administration and their media drones to link these justified complaints to psychopathic mass murderers (mind you, only the white racist not the black racist ones) has left me livid with rage….

The author of that piece goes on to say that blaming all the shootings on anger concerning replacement theory was part of a strategic plan put in place in June 2021.

There are no coincidences, and they think we are stupid.

Our own JW in Germany posted something yesterday worth repeating about Elon Musk and the Twitter purchase:

The bombshell that Revolver dropped yesterday caused a shockwave heard round the cabal world! Did you hear about the Ministry of Truth Czar Nina Jankowics suddenly got cold feet yesterday and the WH had to put the program “on hold”?

So how does that connect to Elon buying Twitter? Because Nina has a history with disinformation that has come around to bite her in the ass. She participated in a secret NATO funded (US taxpayer) cabal to subvert Western democracies using disinformation as cover…under the guise of fighting “Russian disinformation”. Where have we heard that before?

Guess what favorite tool was used to manipulate the population in countries like Spain…to influence them to vote for the cabal’s selected puppet?

If you answered Twitter…DING! DING! DING! you are absolutely correct!

How? If normal citizens of a country are the vast majority (95%) users…then the tweets should mirror the vibe of the country at least to some reasonable extent. How can you manipulate an election like that? EXACTLY! YOU CANNOT!!!

The cabal had tweet centers full of computers and an army paid professional bots with multiple accounts each and combined with algorithms to suppress unwanted info and highlight the desired narrative to a point that they could sway public opinion enough to successfully demonize politicians and officials that they do not control…then install their selected puppets.

The organization started up in 2015…then ran like cockroaches and closed shop a couple years later when documents were leaked exposing their dirty deeds. Shows us how corrupt the entire Western media is. Never heard about it did you?

Fast forward to just a month or two ago, Elon Musk wakes up one morning and says,”Hmmm, I am a Free Speech absolutist and I am gonna buy Twitter for $44 billion without asking them about the most valuable part of the company…the users that attract advertisers. Because I do not care about the financial…I care about Free Speech!”

That is the gist of it. Does that sound like a businessman who happens to be the richest man in the world? EXACTLY! Of course not. A typical businessman would want to know every single detail down to the cracks in the floor before doling out $44 BILLION.

Connecting the dots yet?

Why did Musk not ask about the user accounts and bots BEFORE the bid? Because he already knew!

This was a setup folks!

Did you know that Musk is the Department of Defense’s biggest contractor? Neither did I until Kash Patel casually dropped that nuke on the Gutfeld Show a few weeks back. The hair standing up on your arms yet? Well, I have hairy arms. Ewww sounding like FJB.

So if Musk knew that Twitter was lying about the % of bots…then why make the offer? To rope-a-dope Twitter expose them and buy the company at a lower price? Maybe.

But what if this exposes MUCH MORE than that?

Musk makes the offer and meets very unusual resistance considering the offer making the stock-holders much money. The WH creates a Ministry of Truth and brings in the singing Disinformation Czar Nina Jankowics to censor disinformation for our own protection…Free Speech is dangerous ya know!

So what? Right? Just another weird Swamp Critter. Right? WRONG!

How did Revolver News scoop this story? Secret documents were leaked to them about the disinformation cabal subverting Western democracies.

Guess who’s name pops up in the documents??? You already know. BOOM!!!!! The Singing Disinformation Czar Nina J!!!

The cabal needs to block the purchase of Twitter any way they can because Twitter’s value to them is not financial…it is their bullhorn! Just like Trump blindsided them…they never saw Musk coming!

I absolutely believe that this is a military op to expose the corruption from behind the scenes using a civilian celebrity figure (we have seen that before) to draw the world’s attention without the optics of a military coup!

Follow Musk’s tweets. A couple days ago “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.” YA THINK?! I get goose bumps just thinking about this!

Musk has purposely drawn the attention to himself and with his tweets giving us step-by-step instructions in REAL-TIME on how the cabal destroys its enemies…THIS TIME…in broad daylight!

Does anybody think he is risking this all on his own against such a dangerous organization? Musk even tweeted “If I die of mysterious causes. Nice to know ya!” (paraphrasing in context)

Musk knew everything before he made the bid.

What are the chances that Musk makes a blind offer they cannot publicly refuse without serious trouble with stock-holders…then in warp speed panic the WH cabal scrapes together a counter with a Ministry of Truth lead by none other than a professional disinformation operative working for a secret organization…using none other than Twitter and fake bot propaganda accounts?

All by chance??? You better not say yes.

Remember Musk is the DoD’s biggest contractor. That is right, I’ll say it…3D FRIGGIN’ CHESS!

The cabal is absolutely freaking out…bet on it!!!

If JW is right, the whole Twitter takeover may well have been part of THE PLAN from the beginning. We don’t know what we don’t know in that regard.

In pandemic stuff that just might include the monkeypox bug that’s suddenly popped up:

Re THE BIG CLUB, okay the emasculated Republicans who need to eat more red meat:

The PC Direction of the GOP – Contrary to Democratic hysteria, it is only getting more liberal.

The Democrats are forever claiming that the GOP is reverting to a troglodyte past, that they have never seen a “more conservative” party, and so forth. This is all nonsense. The GOP gets more liberal with each passing year. Today’s “conservatism” is little more than a conservation of post-1960s liberalism. As evident in the attacks on Barnette, which came not just from the usual RINOs but also from supposed “conservative Republicans,” the GOP now reaffirms liberalism’s fatuous definitions of bigotry and view of a Judeo-Christian America as inherently indefensible. If liberals had a little more perspective, they would gloat over this development and rejoice at the sight of Sean Hannity and Mark Levin making their arguments for them.

Liberalism has little to fear from a GOP that champions supporters of gay marriage while declaring opponents of it “unelectable.” In the end, the GOP is perfectly comfortable with a de-Christianized America, quibbling not over the substance of liberalism but over the speed of its enactment. The squabbles between Democrats and Republicans grow increasingly trivial. They don’t turn on any deep philosophical disagreements but upon differing prudential judgments. If the burning issue of the day is “Should the teaching of immoral sex education start in high school or elementary school?”, conservatism has already lost.

The GOP’s alleged “culture war” amounts to very little. It is just a delayed and weak response to the most insane cultural conquests of the Left. But it leaves untouched most of liberalism’s gains. Any Republican, no matter how socially liberal, can pose as a sensible defender of “parental rights” next to his mindless and reckless Democratic counterparts. But this is just cynical and opportunistic posturing. Were it not an election year, the PC leadership of the GOP wouldn’t care one whit about the LGBTQ movement’s encroachment upon public schools. Before that issue caught fire, Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel was sending out tweets in praise of “LGBTQ Americans.” So the GOP isn’t even opposed to transgenderism in principle. It just balks at a few of its excesses involving children and athletes because doing so makes for good politics at the moment.

Thanks to the sheer madness of the Democrats, the GOP will enjoy great success this year, even as it grows more philosophically lazy and compromised. Such a GOP will never solve America’s most fundamental problems or arrest its transformation into a secularist dystopia. That would require the recovery of a principled conservatism rooted in the natural moral law. But there’s simply no interest in that anymore in the GOP. At best, it is committed to the kind of superficial and contradictory “conservatism” of a David McCormick, who can sign a gay marriage legal brief at one moment, then call Dr. Oz a “Hollywood liberal” in the next.

More on the cultural aspects of leftist politics in this piece:

If the American Empire Falls, Will the Republic Rise?

If you’re feeling surrounded, don’t.  There are many more of us than them.  The unbelievable major serial failures of the Biden administration (who bats zero?) are waking up a broader slice of the public — waking them up through mounting costs (inflation and energy), uncertainties (crime and the border), and flagrant attempts in schools to sexually debauch our kids (Biden’s handlers support this effort), among other wanton offenses.

The progressive worldview, as translated through governance and cultural dictates, is collapsing.  Progressivism is daily revealing itself as, yes, power-hungry, incompetent, ineffective, but also dark.  The end of empire isn’t likely to finish with a whimper.  It’ll be calamitous, confrontational, and just plain nasty.  The elites won’t go gentle into that good night.  They’ve far too much riding on outcomes.

Let’s see…memes…..

JOHN 15:12-17

12“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17This I command you, to love one another.
