Tens of millions of American teenagers are miserable. Teenage girls, according to a recent CDC report, published on Feb. 13, are particularly miserable. 

Roughly 60% of U.S. teen girls have persistent feelings of sadness and despair — double the rate of boys. Close to three million teenage girls contemplated suicide in 2021, according to the extensive report. 

The social isolation imposed by harshly restrictive COVID-19 mitigation strategies certainly made things worse, but rates of teen depression were rising long before the pandemic brought the country to a screeching halt.

There’s a war against happiness.  Climate alarmists bury good news and exaggerate bad news.  They have made up their minds to be miserable, and they’re determined to take the rest of us down with them.

For example, have you heard that over the past 30 years, there has been a 14-percent increase in the Earth’s green vegetation?  Deserts are getting smaller, and forests are getting lusher.  That gain even has a name: “Earth Greening.”  Not surprisingly, 70 percent of it stems from the increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere!  Zaichun Zhu, one of the scientists who measured the greening, says it’s equivalent to adding a new continent of green vegetation twice the size of the mainland United States.

The benefits of the increased vegetation are widespread: “It means more food for insects and deer, for elephants and mice, for fish and whales.  It means higher yields for farmers; the effect has probably added about $3 trillion to farm incomes over the past 30 years, so less land is needed to feed the human population and more can be spared for wildlife instead.”  We’ve given a raise to all commercial farmers around the world.  Increased supply eventually results in reduced prices.

Both pieces revolve around the efforts to rid the nation of central banks and bankers. Andrew Jackson succeeded and that lasted about eighty years. President Kennedy gave it a shot and was publicly executed for his efforts. President Donald Trump also would like to see the end of the central bank known as the Federal Reserve. For some reason, the author of the second Substack piece seems to believe that Trump would be pushing us toward Bitcoin – famous for the Pepe frog – rather than a currency backed in a commodity. Some of us think President Trump is smarter than that, but that’s the supposition of the author.

Along the way, it is noticed that BOTH pieces were published on March 15, the Ides of March, and the deadline for tax payment in the Roman Empire. Yes, Julius Caesar was stabbed on the date, but there is more significance than just his death.

March 15 also happens to be Andrew Jackson’s birthday.

Put all that together along with a lot of tweeting that happened on March 15 over the years, and the author of the second piece makes some really rather out there arguments for the importance of the numbers 3,1, and 5 in the coded communications being passed around by Trump and others for which we in the cheap seats do not have a decoder ring. Along the way, said author takes us down numerical gematria lane. For many years, I discounted much of the idea of gematria, until I heard the famous, and AMAZINGLY knowledgeable Jimmy Akin explain that the number of the Beast in the Apocalypse (Book of Revelation) is/was gematria in multiple languages for Nero. Listen to his explanation here if the reader likes. I should have it cued up to 44:47 where the question regarding the Beast is asked. (And, yes, Fr. G.R., my sophomore religion teacher, did tell us that the Beast was Nero and Nero’s Rome.)

A Missouri state law that declared several federal gun laws “invalid” is unconstitutional, a U.S. federal judge ruled on Tuesday, handing the U.S. Justice Department a victory in its bid to get the law tossed out.

At issue was a measure Republican Governor Mike Parson signed into law in 2021 that declared that certain federal gun laws infringed on the rights of individuals to keep and bear arms under the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment.

When did a noticeable change occur—a change of pace? When did we go into overdrive?

I believe it occurred on 1/7/23, the day McCarthy was voted House Speaker and made his concessions to the House Freedom Caucus in order to get elected. From that day forward, everything changed. I believe this was the day the Deep State Cabal was both spayed and neutered.

Notice I didn’t just say the change occurred when McCarthy was elected House Speaker; this was inevitable when the Republicans took the House in November. Most understood McCarthy would likely become Speaker of the House. The change occurred when McCarthy made his concessions and showed he was going to “play ball”, and that he wouldn’t get in the way of Trump’s agenda.

On Saturday 1/7/23, McCarthy agreed to the concessions and was chosen Speaker of the House on the 15th round of voting.
