Truth and common sense must be valued by us, as individuals, in order to lastingly disempower the authoritarian fake news media. This includes the perniciously smarmy science media, which never answers for its errors and lies. I believe that the media has been responsible not only for leftist pathologies like scientism, medical fascism, and radical gender ideology, but also for reactionary movements like modern flat Earth, rejection of all medicine, and Biblical geological literalism.

Just as Wheatie’s Stormwatch Monday Open Thread was created as a place for people to openly express their thoughts and opinions, so, too, is this Thank God Thursday Open Thread, where honest but civil discussion of all topics is encouraged. This thread is also to be known as Theistic Evolution Thursdays, due to the author’s expected “pontification” about his scientific, religious, and political opinions. You are welcome to pontificate back! Free speech matters!

Please label all AI-generated content as being such, unless it is patently obvious (e.g., humorous AI images). It is important that we as individuals not begin to pretend that socially derived artificial intelligence is actually our own, as this form of stealthy social information averaging and feedback would be one more pretense and deception between people, in service of stupid Marxist socialism, and of those who wish to substitute their communally protected lies for actual truth.

A special treat for us “science deplorables” who are arriving as barbarians at the gate, questioning the leftist sacrament of peer review!

Watching scientific peer review being demoted from censorious gatekeepers, back to “free speech” standards for both authors and critics, is truly enjoyable here.

(Just watch from 11:00 to around 20:00 if you want the part about peer review. If you want the full brutal fight in evolution, that is 2 1/2 hours long, beginning to end!)

But wait! There’s more! Evolution is having a food fight!

Likewise, many of us hillbillies who have always thought “hey, that prehistoric ape can’t be fully human” will enjoy watching this fight within evolution, in which a bunch of us evolutionists cry out either “hey, that dubious ape-like member of genus Homo likely didn’t practice burial and art” or “hey, let this guy prove his case” or even “hey, I need more popcorn!”

Seriously, I’m not sure which side I’m on with these papers – probably all three! But notice how evolutionists are now free to have a public dispute over edgy (and possibly wrong) science. “Decorum” is no longer the top priority, and “unity in the face of critics” is no longer the “stop vaccine hesitancy at all costs” of paleoanthropology.

I’m impressed. Trump is fixing things even more than I thought! And I’m giving Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. some credit, too!

Ah, yes. The clutching of pearls by all involved in academia is most satisfying!

In other news….. there is a LOT of WINNING.

Have a wonderful 4th of July, people! Patriots ARE in control, and this is exactly what we prayed for – AND voted for!

Yes, our prayers were answered, and I ask all of you this 4th of July to be thankful for what has transpired.
