Dear KMAG: 20221010 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And indeed, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

…and we will have fun doing it, too!

The Rules

TL;DR –

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Boilerplate, more or less, but worth reading again and again, if only for the minor changes, and to stay out of moderation.

The bottom line is Free Speech. Theories and ideas you don’t agree with must be WELCOME here, and you must be part of that welcoming. But you do NOT need to be part of any agreement.

Bottom line – respect other people’s FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.

Our only additional requirement is that you do so NICELY. Or at least try to make some effort in that direction.

SO….. [ENGAGE BOILERPLATE…..]

We must endeavor to persevere to love our frenemies – even here.

Those who cannot deal with this easy requirement will be forced to jump the hoops of moderation, so that specific comments impugning other posters and violating the minimal rules can be sorted out and tossed in the trash.

In Wheatie’s words, “We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

That includes the life skill of just ignoring certain other posters.

We do have a site – The U Tree – where civility is not a requirement. Interestingly, people don’t really go there much. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in an “argument” that can’t really stay civil, please feel free to “take it to the U Tree”. The U Tree is also a good place to report any technical difficulties, if you’re unable to report them here. Please post your comment there on one of Wolf’s posts, or in reply to one of Wolf’s comments, to make sure he sees it (though it may take a few hours).

We also have a backup site, called The Q Tree as well, which is really The Q Tree 579486807. You might call it “Second Tree”. The URL for that site is https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/. If this site (theqtree.com) ever goes down, please reassemble at the Second Tree.

If the Second Tree goes down, please go to The U Tree, or to our Gab Group, which is located at https://gab.com/groups/4178.

We also have some “old rules” and important guidelines, outlined here, in a very early post, on our first New Year’s Day, in 2019. The main point is not to make violent threats against people, which then have to be taken seriously by law enforcement, and which can be used as a PRETEXT by enemies of this site.

In the words of Wheatie, “Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

A Moment of Prayer

Our policy on extreme religious freedom on this site is discussed HERE. Please feel free to pray and praise God anytime and anywhere.

Thus, please pray for our real President, the one who actually won the election.

You may also pray for our nation, our world, and even our enemies.

Call To Battle

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Day Year:

placeholder

noun

something which holds the place of another, such as this default post which “holds the place” of what would be an interesting and varied weekly Monday post.

verb

to do something to Eric Holder, as in “Please placeholder under arrest.”

Used in a sentence:

“Please placeholder under arrest.”

Used in a picture:

I’m fine with placeholders. Less reading to do is good when time is short.

LOVE that word of the week! It makes me laugh every time. 😆

Wait — this site has cute mods?!?!? I thought all the moderation was done by by Wolf…..

Nice to see you’re still around. Don’t be such a stranger. 😎

TheseTruths

So why is the Left hyping nuclear attacks and radiation sickness? There’s an obvious profit motive for Pelosi, but what does it mean, politically?

TheseTruths

I agree that it won’t work. Unfortunately, the idea of nukes in a foreign region doesn’t resonate with people who are concerned about the economy, what their children are being taught, the border crisis, etc.

All those yyyyys make me question everything.

You just can’t help yourself.

  :wpds_twisted:

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

In Ukrainian, his name is Володимир Зеленський.

Based on my knowledge of Russian, so some number of grains of salt should be assumed to accompany this:

Note that the last two letters are not the same. и is a very distinct letter from й, even though it looks like they’re just the same thing with an accent mark. и is a vowel, corresponding to i (as in machine–not like in the personal pronoun “I”). The other letter, й, is actually considered a consonant, and represents the y sound in “yes.”

I admit I don’t understand why they don’t transliterate it as “Zelenskiy” but perhaps in Ukrainian и works differently than it does in Russian.

In Russian, there is a vowel ы (yes, that is ONE letter even though it looks like two. In Russian there’s no chance of confusion because I by itself is not a letter in Russian, but it IS a letter in Ukrainian.) that we don’t have in English (a mid-close sound, in technical terms); it’s generally transliterated as Y also. (In fact many Cyrillic letters get rendered with a Y in whole or in part.) Sometimes a word ends in ый and I expect that one to get transliterated “yy” (Again, this makes “Zelenskyy” seem odd to me, but again I remind myself that Ukrainian is not Russian even though very closely related.)

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

The fun one is the double zh in Zaporizhzhia (I had to check that to get it right. My first spelling guess was partly based on the former Russian name for the place, best rendered Zaporozhiye, which doesn’t have the double zh.). It looks a little bit less strange in Ukrainian and Russian because the zh sound (in leisure) is one letter, ж, and a single doubled letter (жж) doesn’t raise eyebrows like a repeater does.

The name means, “beyond the rapids” by the way.

(Mapping Cyrilic letters to Latin ones is always problematic and there are many ways to do it (all of which are deficient in some way or another) Probably the best transliteration scheme out there renders it “Zaporižžja” but no one except certain scholars will use that one.)

Once NATO starts folding, I will relish the day when they offer Nuland up to Russia to be tried as the war criminal she is.

All NATO would have to do is tell Putin that she is Soros’ bastard daughter.

Please

I doubt the target for any Russian nuke activity would be US population centers. Putin understands it is the potatus admin that is rouge and controlled by ds and davos and china.

To inflict max damage to that target and minimize collateral damage would be in line with Putin’s typical tactics that he has used in UK so far.

IMO, one also has to wonder whether Fauci and Birx either knew, or suspected, that the ventilator thing was risky at best, and misled POTUS45 into going for it anyway.

marymorse

Part of the official healing protocol, with plausible deniability, and scalability: “…in the heat of a pandemic, we didn’t know.”…and … “we followed the protocol.”…

100$ says that baric or Shi blasted the lungs of their dying BLT mice with compressed house air, just for sadistic s*”*s and giggles to see how badly their lungs were damaged. Probably even measured it.

marymorse

So infection by aerosolized pathogen, then off to the viverium.

Next question, do they only focus on vaccines to treat their super pathogens, or is their a whole body of research involving prevention and treatment that they aren’t sharing?

Aubergine

If you remember it like I do, we found out vents were deadly somewhere around April of 2020. Check out this article:

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/04/02/826105278/ventilators-are-no-panacea-for-critically-ill-covid-19-patients

They are STILL ventilating Covid patients today, is my understanding.

They are stone-cold killers.

BillBeakman

Remember this doctor from April 2020 exposing that the high pressures being used in ventilators appeared to be INJURING patient’s lungs.
Have hospitals ever been held to accounts for their abuse of patients? No.
https://nypost.com/2020/04/06/nyc-doctor-says-coronavirus-ventilator-settings-are-too-high/

Aubergine

I DO remember. I remember discussing it HERE.

If the medical establishment would have listened to US, who knows how many people would still be alive today?

BillBeakman

What with the carnage that the medical “industry” has been complicit in, we will likely not see any significant mea culpa moments coming from them.

Aubergine

Jeffrey Sachs is spinning. See my other post. Check his body language. How can he smile and laugh?

Jeff has now shifted his language from “we” to “they” as he throws Fauci Collins and the proximal origins guys under the 🚛.

Is this when they became involved with biolabs in Ukraine?

marymorse

It’s a full circle; all of the same players. Leads back to Browder and the money planes to Russia. (Browder is a Stanford man. So is his bot patenting son.)

I wouldn’t be surprised if a FF dirty bomb happens to be detonated on some campus near an archive of evidence of their crimes.

(I once filed an FOIA request for some building records related to a developer home renovation fraud. I received an answer that the records were destroyed when a fire started in the records room of the building dept.)

We need to think like these a$$holes, to anticipate what they could do next, imo.

Aubergine

Yep!

pgroup2

As a CPAP user, I immediately thought [before that time] that my equipment would work and therefore why are they freaking out about ventilators.

BillBeakman

Great observation!

pgroup2

It’s hard to describe how much easier it is to breathe with it. Plus I have supplemental oxygen injected into the pressure stream.

How many died due to govt subsidies for vent use?

Aubergine

True.

kalbokalbs

Prolly about that time, April 20, Trump was saying no one wants to go on the ventilators. Trump figured that one out also.

Aubergine

Yep. We knew, he knew. But they are still doing it TODAY.

cthulhu

Thinking of my recent experience…..

An elderly man is at the doctor’s office, accompanied by his wife. He mainly sits quietly — every time the doctor asks him a question, his wife answers it. Finally, the doctor says, “I’m not quite sure what is causing your discomfort, but I’m going to run a comprehensive set of lab tests. Not only are we going to test the usual blood and urine, but we also need to test saliva, semen, and stool. I’m going to my office to write up the order, I’ll be right back.”

After he leaves the room, the old man turns to his wife and asks, “eh, what did he say?”

She turns to him and yells, “DOCTOR WANTS YOUR UNDERPANTS.”

pgroup2

So that’s how your doctor visit went. Fascinating.

cthulhu

Not yet, by the Grace of God…..

cthulhu

But it did partially explain the startled look when I was told I needed to do a urine sample.

If you are prepared enough to live outside the system, you can be brave. But you had better be ready to be broke. I’m not kidding. I live pretty much outside the system, I always have. And the way I did it was being able to survive on not much.

The only other way is to embrace the system for a long time (Trump, Musk), and then turn on it when you have a TON of money. Then they can’t break you.

Fiancee is back from Elton John concert. She had a good time.

For the input regarding the drummer — he had a drummer and a percussionist (congas, etc.), and they were both with him since forever. The coaching helped her know to look for them and enjoy their performance.

Barb Meier

If the percussionist was bald and had dark glasses, that was Ray Cooper (with Elton since 1971). Nigel Olsson may have been the drummer (with Elton since 1970). I have seen Elton have both a drummer and a percussionist in some videos. Glad she enjoyed the concert and it is good to know they are still doing what they love.

THE CORRUPTION OF SCIENCE:

“Academia is Dead” – Leading Medical Journal’s ‘Peer-Reviewed’ Pro-Vaccine Study Listed “Unvaccinated People with a Previous Infection” as “Fully Vaccinated” (thegatewaypundit.com)

Just when you thought the Covid-deranged establishment medical community couldn’t lose any more credibility, the formerly reputable medical journal ‘Nature Communications’ comes along and says ‘hold my beer.’

Despite a growing mountain of evidence showing that the experimental Covid vaccines are ineffective at preventing infection and transmission, a newly published peer-reviewed study in the journal ‘Nature‘ has concluded that “fully vaccinated and booster-vaccinated contacts are generally less susceptible to infection compared to unvaccinated contacts.”

In other words, ‘the vaccines prevent sickness and transmission.’ And here’s the peer-reviewed study to prove it – just in time for midterms booster season.

The study, titled “Household transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant in Denmark” examined the Covid transmission and infection rates of 60,000+ individuals to find out what was causing infection rates to remain so high throughout the arrival of the Omicron and Delta variants. After compiling the data, they determined that the unvaccinated are at a greater risk of infection than their vaccinated peers.

How convenient… But unfortunately for the scientists, the study does not hold up to even an ounce of scrutiny, as the propagandist ‘experts’ (or conversely, the expert propagandists) manipulated the data in such an egregious way that it caused heads to explode across the scientific community.

In one such response to the Nature study, Dr. Simon Goddek – a prominent scientist who specializes in biotechnologies and has been a leading critic of the experimental Covid jabs – blasted the bogus findings while lamenting about the demise of his entire profession on Telegram:

“Academia is dead. The peer review process is a joke… I am ashamed to be a scientist. From now on I am calling myself an independent science journalist.”

Brutal.

So how on earth did they come up with the data to support their ridiculous conclusion? Well, the study’s authors – some 20 leading ‘medical professionals’ – made their manufactured determination by counting unvaccinated individuals with a prior Covid infection as “fully vaccinated” – Yes… Really…

On the flip side, unvaccinated individuals included “individuals with partial vaccination” – you know, just in case they needed to play with the numbers some more.

This is made clear in the study’s notes from Table 2 (titled: “Effect of Vaccination”), which states:

“1. a Unvaccinated includes individuals with partial vaccination.

2. b Fully vaccinated includes unvaccinated individuals with previous infection.”

comment image

This completely crude manipulation allowed them to surmise that “vaccination and booster vaccination does confer protection” and that the vaccinated (who might not have taken a vaccine) are “less susceptible” to the Covid virus.

…………

.

Aubergine

On the plus side, this means I, who have had Covid and never had a death-jab (and never will) am FULLY VACCINATED.

So fuck you, you medical Nazis. Your ploy has failed.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow, that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ.

AMEN.

Russia, Having ‘Run Out Of Missiles’, Launches Barrage On Ukraine

Back in March I had warned that Lies Do Not Win Wars. Here is another practical example.

After allegedly having ‘run out of missiles’ and, more importantly, patience, the leadership of the Russian Federation decided to de-electrify Ukrainian cities with a ‘barrage of missile strikes’.

But first came the propaganda blubber:

We Haven’t Started Yet,’ Putin Says in Hawkish Speech on Ukraine Invasion – Haaretz – Jul 7, 2022

President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia had barely got started in Ukraine and dared the West to try to defeat it on the battlefield, while insisting that Moscow was still open to the idea of peace talks.

“Today we hear that they want to defeat us on the battlefield. What can you say, let them try,” he said.

“We have heard many times that the West wants to fight us to the last Ukrainian. This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people, but it seems that everything is heading towards this.”

“Everyone should know that, by and large, we haven’t started anything yet in earnest,” he added. “At the same time, we don’t reject peace talks. But those who reject them should know that the further it goes, the harder it will be for them to negotiate with us.”

Russia Unleashes Biggest Barrage of Strikes on Ukraine Since Invasion – WSJ – Oct 10, 2022

Cities throughout Ukraine, including Kyiv, are bombarded after Putin slams Ukraine over Crimea bridge blast

KYIV, Ukraine—Russia carried out waves of strikes on several Ukrainian cities including the capital in the broadest and most intense onslaught since the start of the invasion, after President Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of a “terrorist attack” on a critical bridge connecting Russia’s mainland to the occupied Crimean Peninsula.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia had carried out dozens of strikes using missiles as well as Iranian-made drones to target civilian and power infrastructure. “They want panic and chaos,” he said. “They want to destroy our energy system.”

Ukraine “under missile attack” as explosions rock Kyiv and other cities – CBSNews – Oct 10, 2022

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the president’s office, said on social media Monday that, “Ukraine is under missile attack. There is information about strikes in many cities of our country.”

General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said on Twitter that Russia had launched 75 missiles at Ukraine but that “41 of them were neutralized by our air defence.”

Zelenskyy later emerged onto a street in Kyiv to record a selfie video with a message to his people and the world, denouncing Russia for the barrage of missiles which he said had targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, and its civilians.

Kiev, Lviv, Karkov, Dnipropetrovsk, Krivoy Rog all report damage to their electricity infrastructure.

Fuel crisis in France: authorities release strategic reserves

French Prime Minister Elisabeth Born said that the problem with fuel supplies to gas stations in the country will be resolved within the next week.

“We have released strategic reserves”

According to the Ministry of Energy Transition, as of Sunday, about 30% of gas stations in France were experiencing problems with fuel shortages. The day before, this figure was 21%.

Interruptions in the supply of fuel to gas stations in France arose due to strikes at the facilities of TotalEnergies and ExxonMobil. The largest TotalEnergies plant, located in Normandy, does not work. In addition, two ExxonMobil plants are not operating.

The problem is compounded by the fact that employees of the fuel delivery service joined the strike at a number of facilities.

Despite the excess profits received, the largest energy concerns in France are in no hurry to fulfill the demands of the workers. The authorities also have no levers of pressure on private companies. In a stalemate, in order to extinguish the discontent of the population, the authorities only have to get into strategic reserves.

Yours Truly: This is an article about the ongoing coverups and lies about the COVID-19 disaster. There’s a link embedded in the article that leads to the current advice for physicians from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) regarding COVID-19 and treating patients.
The CPSO guidelines appear to be quite precise about how to deal with “non-compliant” patients who either question getting “vaccinated’, or refuse to get “vaccinated.” For example, under “Pandemic-Related Practice Issues”, physicians are permitted to prescribe drugs and/or give a referral to psychotherapy for these patients for “extreme fear of needles” or “other cases of serious concern” to help “assist” them in getting “vaccinated.”
Watch for the above advice to be given to doctors in the United States, if it hasn’t already been done, by the AMA and/or other physicians’ organizations here.

Happy Columbus Day!
https://www.history.com/topics/exploration/columbus-day

Christopher Columbus was an Italian-born explorer who set sail in August 1492, bound for Asia with backing from the Spanish monarchs King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella aboard the ships the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria.

Columbus intended to chart a western sea route to China, India and the fabled gold and spice islands of Asia. Instead, on October 12, 1492, he landed in the Bahamas, becoming the first European to explore the Americas since the Vikings established colonies in Greenland and Newfoundland during the 10th century.

Later that October, Columbus sighted Cuba and believed it was mainland China; in December the expedition found Hispaniola, which he thought might be Japan. There, he established Spain’s first colony in the Americas with 39 of his men.

In March 1493, Columbus returned to Spain in triumph, bearing gold, spices and “Indian” captives. The explorer crossed the Atlantic several more times before his death in 1506.

👉 Did you know? Contrary to popular belief, most educated Europeans in Columbus’ day understood that the world was round, but they did not yet know that the Pacific Ocean existed. As a result, Columbus and his contemporaries assumed that only the Atlantic lay between Europe and the riches of the East Indies.

comment image

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Indeed. Columbus’ controversy was that he thought the world was smaller than it was. Educated Europeans not only knew it was round but pretty well knew its size. So they also had a decent idea just how far away China would be coming at it from the West. Columbus proposed to take his journey with not nearly enough supplies to get to China, and they knew this! Fortunately for him there was something in the way.

Nowadays Columbus gets blamed for bringing smallpox and other nasty diseases to the New World; whether he did it or not, when they did arrive, they probably killed somewhere between 2/3rds and 90 percent of all the people over here. Even if it were him, I can’t consider him a deliberately genocidal turd because he didn’t know it.

The other indictment of him that gets raised nowadays is that he essentially enslaved the entire island of Hispaniola (today’s Dominican Republic and Haiti); if that’s actually true, then absent some extenuating circumstance I can’t imagine, yes, he was a shitbag.

Nevertheless the importance of October 12, 1492 cannot be overstated. It’s one of three dates commonly used to mark the end of the “middle ages.” (The others are the fall of Constantinople in 1453 and some dynastic stuff that happened in England in 1485.) The importance to Europe of this whole “New World” they could conquer and exploit cannot be overstated…and of course you can draw a straight line through all the shitty stuff that ensued…to 1776, which was distinctly not shitty.

WILL RUSSIA GO TIT-FOR-TAT ON TERRORISM OR WILL IT TAKE THE HIGH ROAD?
9 October 2022 by Larry Johnson

Will Moscow heed the wisdom of Cyrus Ching, an obscure U.S. Government employee in the 1940s, who is credited with this gem– “I learned long ago never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides the pig likes it.”

The United States and NATO have been busy throwing toxic, lethal mud at Vladimir Putin and the Russian people over the past month that has stoked outrage in Russia. I am referring to the terrorist bombing and murder of Darya Dugina, the sabotage of the Nordstream gas pipelines and this weekend’s truck bomb on the Kerch bridge. These recent attacks are viewed in the context of continued shelling of the Donbas by Ukrainian artillery, which has killed close to a 100 men, women and children in the past two months. The Donbas is now part of Russia, regardless of what the West thinks about its new status. It would be understandable if Russia decided to have a mega-Howard Beale moment–i.e., they’re mad as Hell and are not gonna take this anymore:

But I suspect Vladimir Putin and his advisors are not keen on emotionally ventilating and shaking their fists at the empty air. Russia is going to do more than open and window and scream in anger. I anticipate something more substantive and severe is in the offing on the battlefields of Ukraine than choleric shouts.

The outlines of the impending Russian response are becoming clear. For example, Putin appointed a new commander to lead all of its forces in Ukraine, General Sergei Surovikin. This is noteworthy because, prior to today, Russia had not named a single commander to oversee all of its forces in Ukraine. This indicates, I believe, a decisive shift from the Special Military Operation to a combined arms war effort.

What does “combined arms” mean? “The full integration and application of two or more arms or elements of one Military Service into an operation.” In other words, Russian military operations going forward will employ all ground and air capabilities in a coordinated system. No longer will the former militias of Donetsk and Lunhansk wage war in their own sphere with support from Russia in terms of artillery and missile fires, intelligence and electronic warfare. These units are now part of Russia and their capabilities will be applied in accordance with a broader, comprehensive plane with the likely objective of the complete defeat of Ukraine.

While some pundits have speculated that Russia might unleash its intelligence and special operations forces to carry out sabotage and “terrorist” attacks against U.S. and European targets, along with clubbing Ukraine with an iron fist, I do not believe that Vladimir Putin wants to sink to that level and give the West more reason to label it as a sponsor of terrorism. I do not mean to imply that Putin is afraid of being labeled a “terrorist”, but I think Putin understands that “terrorism” is an act of weakness and he is not about to take actions that portray Russia as feeble. Strength, baby, strength.
I do not think Russia is going to embark on a counter terrorism operation akin to what it did in Chechnya. I imagine many readers of this piece have forgotten or never paid attention to the radical Islamic terrorism that wreaked havoc in Russia over a ten year period:

Terror on Crimea Bridge forces Russia to unleash Shock’n Awe
The western narrative of a ‘losing Russia’ has just been decimated by Moscow’s blitzkrieg against Ukraine and its foreign-backed terror operations

Pepe Escobar October 10 2022

The terror attack on Krymskiy Most – the Crimea Bridge – was the proverbial straw that broke the Eurasian camel’s back.

Russian President Vladimir Putin neatly summarized it: “This is a terrorist attack aimed at destroying the critical civilian infrastructure of the Russian Federation.”

The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, confirmed face-to-face with Putin that Terror on the Bridge was carried out by the SBU – Ukrainian special services.

Bastrykin told Putin, “we have already established the route of the truck, where the explosion took place. Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, North Ossetia, Krasnodar… The carriers have been identified. With the help of operatives of the FSB, we managed to identify suspects.”

Russian intel leaked crucial info to military correspondent Alexander Kots. The cargo was ordered by a Ukrainian citizen: explosives packed in 22 pallets, in rolls of film under plastic wrap, were shipped from Bulgaria to the Georgian port of Poti. Afterwards, the cargo was loaded onto a truck with foreign license plates and proceeded overland to Armenia.

Clearance at the Armenia-Russia border was smooth – according to the rules of the Eurasian Customs Union (both Russia and Armenia are members of the Eurasian Economic Union, or EAEU). The cargo evidently avoided detection through X-rays. This route is standard for truckers traveling to Russia.

The truck then re-entered Georgia and crossed the border into Russia again, but this time through the Upper Lars checkpoint. That’s the same one used by thousands of Russians fleeing partial mobilization. The truck ended up in Armavir, where the cargo was transferred to another truck, under the responsibility of Mahir Yusubov: the one that entered the Crimean bridge coming from the Russian mainland.

Very important: the transport from Armavir to a delivery address in Simferopol should have happened on October 6-7: that is, timed to the birthday of President Putin on Friday the 7th. For some unexplained reason, that was postponed for a day.

The driver of the first truck is already testifying. Yusubov, the driver of the second truck – which exploded on the bridge – was “blind:” he had no idea what he was carrying, and is dead.

At this stage, two conclusions are paramount.

First: This was not a standard ISIS-style truck suicide bombing – the preferred interpretation in the aftermath of the terror attack.

Second: The packaging most certainly took place in Bulgaria. That, as Russian intel has cryptically implied, indicates the involvement of “foreign special services.”

‘A mirage of cause and effect’

What has been revealed in public by Russian intelligence tells only part of the story. An incandescent assessment received by The Cradle from another Russian intel source is way more intriguing.

At least 450 kg of explosives were employed in the blast. Not on the truck, but mounted inside the Crimea Bridge span itself. The white truck was just a decoy by the terrorists “to create a mirage of cause and effect.” When the truck reached the point on the bridge where the explosives were mounted, the explosion took place.

According to the source, railroad employees told investigators that there was a form of electronic hijacking; the terror operators took control of the railway so the train carrying fuel received a command to stop because of a false signal that the road ahead was busy.
Bombs mounted on the bridge spans were a working hypothesis largely debated in Russian military channels over the weekend, as well as the use of underwater drones.
In the end, the quite sophisticated plan could not follow the necessarily rigid timing. There was no alignment by the millimeter between the mounted explosive charges, the passing truck and the fuel train stopped in its tracks. Damage was limited, and easily contained. The charges/truck combo exploded on the outer right lane of the road. Damage was only on two sections of the outer lane, and not much on the railway bridge.

In the end, Terror on the Bridge yielded a short, Pyrrhic PR victory – duly celebrated across the collective West – with negligible practical success: transfer of Russian military cargo by railway resumed in roughly 14 hours.

And that brings us to the key information in the Russian intel source assessment: the whodunnit.

It was a plan by the British MI6, says this source, without offering further details. Which, he elaborates, Russian intel, for a number of reasons, is shadow-playing as “foreign special services.”

It’s quite telling that the Americans rushed to establish plausible deniability. The proverbial “Ukrainian government official” told CIA mouthpiece The Washington Post that the SBU did it. That was a straight confirmation of an Ukrainska Pravda report based on an “unidentified law enforcement official.”

The perfect red line trifecta

Already, over the weekend, it was clear the ultimate red line had been crossed. Russian public opinion and media were furious. For all its status as an engineering marvel, Krymsky Most represents not only critical infrastructure; it is the visual symbol of the return of Crimea to Russia.

Moreover, this was a personal terror attack on Putin and the whole Russian security apparatus.

So we had, in sequence, Ukrainian terrorists blowing up Darya Dugina’s car in a Moscow suburb (they admitted it); US/UK special forces (partially) blowing Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 (they admitted and then retracted); and the terror attack on Krymsky Most (once again: admitted then retracted).

Not to mention the shelling of Russian villages in Belgorod, NATO supplying long-range weapons to Kiev, and the routine execution of Russian soldiers.

Darya Dugina, Nord Streams and Crimea Bridge make it an Act of War trifecta. So this time the response was inevitable – not even waiting for the first meeting since February of the Russian Security Council scheduled for the afternoon of 10 October.

Moscow launched the first wave of a Russian Shock’n Awe without even changing the status of the Special Military Operation (SMO) to Counter-Terrorist Operation (CTO), with all its serious military/legal implications.

After all, even before the UN Security Council meeting, Russian public opinion was massively behind taking the gloves off. Putin had not even scheduled bilateral meetings with any of the members. Diplomatic sources hint that the decision to let the hammer come down had already been taken over the weekend.

Shock’n Awe did not wait for the announcement of an ultimatum to Ukraine (that may come in a few days); an official declaration of war (not necessary); or even announcing which ‘”decision-making centers” in Ukraine would be hit.

The lightning strike de facto metastasizing of SMO into CTO means that the regime in Kiev and those supporting it are now considered as legitimate targets, just like ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra during the Anti-Terror Operation (ATO) in Syria.

And the change of status – now this is a real war on terror – means that terminating all strands of terrorism, physical, cultural, ideological, are the absolute priority, and not the safety of Ukrainian civilians. During the SMO, safety of civilians was paramount. Even the UN has been forced to admit that in over seven months of SMO the number of civilian casualties in Ukraine has been relatively low.

Enter ‘Commander Armageddon’

The face of Russian Shock’n Awe is Russian Commander of the Aerospace Forces, Army General Sergey Surovikin: the new commander-in-chief of the now totally centralized SMO/CTO.

Questions were being asked non-stop: why didn’t Moscow take this decision way back in February? Well, better late than never. Kiev is now learning they messed with the wrong guy. Surovikin is widely respected – and feared: his nickname is “General Armageddon.” Others call him “Cannibal.” Legendary Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov – also a colonel general in the Russian military – lavishly praises Surovikin as “a real general and warrior, an experienced, strong-willed and far-sighted commander.”

Surovikin has been commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces since 2017; was awarded the title of Hero of Russia for his no-nonsense leadership of the military operation in Syria; and had on the ground experience in Chechnya in the 1990s.

Surovikin is Dr. Shock’n Awe with full carte blanche. That even rendered idle speculations that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov were removed or forced to resign, as speculated by the Wagner group Telegram channel Grey Zone.

It is still possible that Shoigu – widely criticized for recent Russian military setbacks – could be eventually replaced by Tula Governor Alexei Dyumin, and Gerasimov by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces, Lieutenant General Alexander Matovnikov.

That’s almost irrevelant: all eyes are on Surovikin.

MI6 does have some well-placed moles in Moscow, relatively speaking. The Brits had warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the General Staff that the Russians would be launching a “warning strike” this Monday.

What happened was no “warning strike,” but a massive offensive of over 100 cruise missiles launched “from the air, sea and land,” as Putin noted, against Ukrainian “energy, military command and communications facilities.”

MI6 also noted “the next step” will be the complete destruction of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. That’s not a “next step:” it’s already happening. Power supply is completely gone in five regions, including Lviv and Kharkov, and there are serious interruptions in other five, including Kiev.

Over 60 percent of Ukrainian power grids are already knocked out. Over 75 percent of internet traffic is gone. Elon Musk’s Starlink netcentric warfare has been “disconnected” by the Ministry of Defense.

Shock’n Awe will likely progress in three stages.

First: Overload of the Ukrainian air defense system (already on).
Second: Plunging Ukraine into the Dark Ages (already in progress).
Third: Destruction of all major military installations (the next wave).

Ukraine is about to embrace nearly total darkness in the next few days. Politically, that opens a completely new ball game. Considering Moscow’s trademark “strategic ambiguity,” this could be a sort of Desert Storm remixed (massive air strikes preparing a ground offensive); or, more likely, an ‘incentive’ to force NATO to negotiate; or just a relentless, systematic missile offensive mixed with Electronic Warfare (EW) to shatter for good Kiev’s capacity to wage war.

Or it could be all of the above.

How a humiliated western Empire can possibly raise the stakes now, short of going nuclear, remains a key question. Moscow has shown admirable restraint for too long. No one should ever forget that in the real Great Game – how to coordinate the emergence of the multipolar world – Ukraine is just a mere sideshow. But now the sideshow runners better run for cover, because General Armageddon is on the loose.

I knew something was coming but I never saw this.

“General Armageddon.”

When Biden said “[Putin was] not joking when he talks about the use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons,” Biden said. “We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis,” was this code?

You’re gonna need a bigger boat 😀

I don’t know a “scream” emoji, or I’d use it!

Is it a great white? There are larger sharks that are much less dangerous — whale shark, basking shark, etc. — they’re about as dangerous as whales.

gil00

I couldnt find details but it sure looks like it in the water.
I saw that a surfer got chomped by a 13 ft great white a few days ago by santa cruz. He lived but he’s lucky. Surfing alone by a bunch of seals.

cthulhu

Humans are wrapped in neoprene and not blubber, so they don’t taste as good as seals and are generally spit out…..potentially while they are still alive.

gil00

The bite just missed his femoral. Lucky.

Basking sharks (and a glimpse of a great white attacking a seal) —

Aubergine

For sure. And I don’t know what that one is.

When I lived in Hawaii, this huge shark lived under a pier where we used to swim. I think it was a basking or nurse shark, but nobody was afraid of it.

This audio was some of the most hateful, racist, abusive crap I have ever heard. Talking about “beating down” a two-year-old, and calling him a monkey?

They should not only resign, but be barred from public office and from contact with children ever again.

Thats taking out 4 big wigs at once. They gerrymandered a district too. Lapd rank hates them. They all have to go.

I believe this kind of rhetoric probably happens a lot more often than we would suspect.

If i could be invisible i would go around recording politicians just for the ability to expose how evil they are(in most cases).

You don’t have to be invisible — just join Project Veritas and wear a wire!

Gruesome and dimms stopped the death penalty, so he gets to victimize taxpayers until he’s dead.

“Suspect who ‘killed Sikh family, including eight-month-old baby girl, in California almond orchard after kidnapping them from trucking business where he worked’ is charged with murder

Salgado faces four counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances, the Merced County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole

Salgado, a former employee of the family’s trucking business, had reportedly been in a longstanding dispute with them. The ex-con had been out on parole at the time for an eerily similar crime nearly 20 years ago.”

So, amongst the long, long cybersecurity BS that ticks me off…..I’m trying to finalize 2021 taxes and I need a stupid form regarding health insurance…..and, out of the blue, the health insurance company has decided I need to provide a cellphone number or email address to get a copy of the stupid form.

Mind you, there is no legal requirement that I own a cellphone or have an email address. I just won’t be able to get the form to complete my taxes without it.

So I have to look through my email addresses and find one that doesn’t give too much away (I will be double-damned and dipped in gravy before I carry a cellphone and give away information about it). I’m spinning up a new computer (the blue brick, as it turns out) with the idea of extracting the form onto a thumbdrive, then reformatting the SD card on which it runs so as to leave no tracking artifacts on the actual brick.

I’m thinking of changing my IRL name to —

As it happens, that one’s a classic and I can assure you at work we sanitize our inputs.

Don’t use SQueaL at home.

And yes, it’s good to know I can use a machine and then lobotomize it (one of two different ways). I’ve found myself setting up more “app” systems that way, or just atomizing them…I have multiple browser machines now even to visit sites which are “safe” though I haven’t made them named disposables, yet. It’s too handy to have tabs stay open.

One clever person in the Qubes user community has come up with a way to keep bookmarks on one system, and seamlessly forward them (one by one, when needed) to a browser running elsewhere (presumably in a disposable). I might just do that someday.

(The two different ways are a regular disposable, which has a randomly generated name and is truly gone once it’s closed, the other is a named disposable, which retains nothing except its name between one use and the next. Both, of course have a regular AppVM as their template, which in turn has a regular template for its template…and yes, it does get confusing having a non-template be, itself, a different template that you can only use a certain way. The developers are probably spending a little bit of time thinking about how to make the naming a little less confusing if nothing else.)

cthulhu

Part of the reason that I am so irritated is that gmail regularly taints computers on which it has been used (even in a browser). If you take a virgin computer (like the blue brick is becoming) and load a gmail identity in a browser and read emails, then any email you subsequently send — even from a different gmail account — will still have identifying information about the original gmail identity. This can be trivially seen by examining the email headers on the receiving end.

With my fondness for smaller, cheaper computers, I can just spin them down and swap out their SD card. Steve has a much nicer solution — spin up a virtual machine and do the same sort of thing in software. Then, again, there’s a reason so many safety interlocks are physical things — they’re much clearer and straightforward, and less likely to have their protocols compromised.

Pink is just such an OCD obstacle pup. Pink is so excited to be doing this, even as the trainer “glues” her to the starting position and moves into place…..and just quietly releases her. Pink behaves as if she understands the rules for each obstacle so well that the trainer doesn’t have to do anything to remind her of touching the yellow zones or waiting for the teeter-totter to hit — and just flies from one to the other.
