Dear KMAG: 20240212 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And yes, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

We will always remember Wheatie,

Pray for Trump,

Yet have fun,

and HOLD ON when things get crazy!

We will follow the RULES of civility that Wheatie left for us:

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And while we engage in vigorous free speech, we will remember Wheatie’s advice on civility, non-violence, and site unity:

“We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

“Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

If this site gets shut down, please remember various ways to get back in touch with the rest of the gang:

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week Year:

espace réservé

noun

  1. French for placeholder
  2. French for reserved area
  3. French for restricted area
  4. Wolf’s preparation for a year of taking care of things

As I will explain below, I’m going to need placeholders for many weeks this year. The first placeholder post (February 5, 2024) will be copied to the other weeks, and modified whenever time allows.

The whole “placeholder” endeavor just sounds so much less offensive in French!

MUSIC!

Relaxing hymns on a harp. Ahhhhhhh.

THE STUFF

An Update…..

So far, things are going better than expected. I appreciate your prayers and support. I have made it past several hurdles, but also had a close call, from which much was learned. I’m actually in a better and safer place now, because of it.

Because I have sworn off a variety of responsibilities, including (here) “big fresh Monday dailies”, I have been able to spend hours every day in medical self-education, to learn what was needed to make significant headway against one of my medical issues. Many other issues are impacted by this one, so it was critical. The strategy paid off, and I have begun to move one huge rock out of my path.

My issues appear to be at the edge of science, which is both fascinating and a bit scary. We live in a very interesting time, when medicine is both “under construction” and obviously falling apart. I am trying to stay ahead of the collapse. So far, the magic of surfing is working.

I am trying to stay connected to all my major activities (art worlds, local politics, this site, neighbors, friends, exercise, home upkeep, financial stewardship & taxes, and most of all supporting my wife in her activities), but I’ve had to ditch major responsibilities in many of them.

Health comes first now.

I was very interested by what I learned from TradeBait’s post, and all your comments there. It’s nice to see things working, and I’m learning a lot.

I got onto Gab AI and made the image on the cover, using their “Watercolor” Image AI. I am trying to test their evolving AI capabilities. Gotta keep as many “tiny irons” in the fire as possible. I am planning to GET BETTER, and I don’t want to lose my place in things.

We’ll see how things go this week. As I said, your prayers are appreciated, and they’re working! THANK YOU!!!

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

ENJOY THE SHOW

W

I’m happy to see the Wolf drop in now and again, because laughter is frequently the best medicine….and ’tis a merry crowd.

Happy we can up lift your spirits Wolfie.

Wolf, so glad to see you around the Tree a bit & relieved that you are making headway in the health arena. Please keep us posted with what developments you are comfortable in sharing so that we may pray more effectively for you. God Bless!

Branco doesn’t speak Spanish very well. It should read, mi casa es tu casa.

cthulhu

Or “nuestra casa es tu casa”.

pgroup2

Too many syllables for the low IQ crowd.

kalbokalbs

Here. Here.

smiley2

it’s Minnesota

su casa = your house

cthulhu

mi casa = my house
tu casa = your house (familiar, singular)
su casa = your house (formal, singular) or his/her house
nuestra casa = our house

Just as a side point, whenever you’re swearing at someone in Spanish, you use the familiar “tu” instead of the formal “usted”. Thus, “chingate tu madre”.

smiley2

you missed the point.
what’s the likely nationality of the 2 ppl looking out the window there, in the multiculturally diverse Minnesota house.

cthulhu

Well, they’re horrified taxpayers….so I presume they’re American.

Charlie

Thus, “chingate tu madre”.
LOL – wanna translate that? Hahahaha…

cthulhu

As an accountant, I did some work at an industrial plant. The owner/manager told me that it took him years before he learned that “tu madre” didn’t mean “boss”.

Valerie Curren

your momma? yo mammy? 😉 😉

cthulhu

It is sort of like “yo’ mama”, and is often the most audible part of a longer dissertation.

Valerie Curren

Back when I worked at the church my daughter would leave me notes to M.O.M. (My Old Madre)–always made me smile 😍

pgroup2

Too complicated logic. And this has caused too much chatter anyway so I’m done with it. 🙃

Yikes! that’s one way of dealing with turbo cancers. Never mind the option of not causing them to begin with. Which is rather less upsetting to everyone.

Can it be more obvious, this is on the same level as the car with the defective exhaust approaching with the high beams on.

I got nitter.net to work on legacy Firefox version 72.0.2, running on win10.

  1. go to the url on nitter
  2. it will give you the scary place notice
  3. click on advanced
  4. this should give you a page that gives the choice of I understand the risk – go anyway
  5. that will connect you to the original url

It is so stupid that Chrome doesn’t do this.

eilert

For me the old ‘https://nitter’ link does not work at all anymore.
Only this link ‘https://nitter.1d4.us’ works. From there I could go to the twitter account like:’https://nitter.1d4.us/catturd2′.

However now when I use this link or any other account it will default to the root ‘https://nitter.1d4.us’ and display some video ad.

Valerie Curren

I tried the clicking on Advanced in Brave but still no access for me 🙁

thx, I didn’t know that as I’m no techie…obviously 🙂

TheseTruths

At this point, they are fighting for his legacy (I know, I know 🙃). Until now, they’ve had the media to cover for JB’s horrible record. But if the media and the DNC turn on them and JB is prevented from running or is removed from office, that will be a huge black mark. They will see who their real friends are, and I bet those numbers are dwindling every day. Real friends would have prevented his running in 2020 because he wasn’t capable then, and dementia only gets worse. But for the fiends on the Left, it’s “anything to stop Trump,” no matter whom you have to sacrifice.

mollypitcher5

We’ve always known that the evil empire will eventually consume everybody but themselves if left unchecked. The Bidens thought they would be protected. One day you’re in and the next you can be put out with the trash.

Gail Combs

Joe Lange Wrote a very good series on the CIA. In one article he says:

…The Medellin cartel accountant was also laundering money through banks in Curaçao, Switzerland, Hong Kong and the Bahamas. That’s a huge data point that we’ll come back to.

Noriega was a CIA asset and was feeding the Medellin cartel info on DEA agents and Coast Guard and US Navy surveillance information. He was getting this information from the CIA, who were trying to protect their drug trafficking operation.

:wpds_arrow: Here’s where we see something very important. We see the difference between those involved in the shadow government who are ‘untouchable’ and those who are ‘expendable’.

👉Untouchable vs Expendable.

This Congressional testimony was the beginning of the end for Noriega. There was no way for Bush to rehabilitate Noriega’s image with the American people. He was now a liability and a danger to exposing everything, so the shadow government would deploy a new strategy. They would come up with a new narrative.

What was it?

Noriega would be painted as the face of narco drug trafficking in South and Central America, and Bush would be painted as the presidential hero fighting drug traffickers.

👉Noriega became expendable.

He would be indicted by the Bush administration and Panama would be invaded by our military in order to arrest him. It was a huge news story. Noriega’s capture and extradition became a major narrative deployment that would shield Bush and the CIA from accusations of trafficking drugs. Bush was now seen as waging war on drug traffickers….

Unless you are in the very top tier you are NOT guaranteed protection PERIOD!

mollypitcher5

The psychological tricks they employ coupled with their international violent king maker/king breaker power is a blight on the USA. They’ve been proven to be ruthless criminals instead of the white hats people assumed them to be. FIB , the same.

Somethings are in genes we can maybe change some through diet or meds. My MD is inherited my grandmother had it. Mine is not to bad and i see perfectly even though they discovered it almost 20 years ago.
I do not know to much but strongly believe we can change some inherited problems or other through died, organic foods and clean eating. Sadly some of us do not realize it until later in life.

Yup. Kennedy’s efforts are revealing the poisonous vaccines. Marketed by Big Pharma and PUSHED by CDC. RICO?

When Trump wins, we need Kennedy in a key position to start undoing Big Pharma AND seriously downsize CDC to something useful.

Gail Combs

I certainly hope Trump puts Kennedy in a very good position to go after these Fother Muckers. Perhaps an DOJ attorney who is later made a special council?

pgroup2

Which Kennedy are you talking about? RFK jr? I doubt he could get confirmed no matter which party controls the Senate.

pgroup2

FYI, a RICO action must affect the victim’s business interests. It is NOT a fancy dressing up of a run of the mill criminal conspiracy. It certainly is not a tort action akin to negligence.

But if those bad guys you named together decided to hurt a smaller rival or squeeze it out of business [anti-trust], that is a criminal RICO if there is violence or the threat of violence as a coercive technique.

Gail Combs

Yes, but there is NO STATUE OF LIMITATION ON MURDER.

A shooting was reported at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood megachurch in Houston on Sunday.

The female shooter wore a trench coat as she walked into the church with a rifle and claimed she had a bomb before she began shooting.

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the shooter, a 35-year-old female who was accompanied by a child, is deceased.

The 5-year-old child is in critical condition. The other victim, a 57-year-old man, was shot in the leg.

Mass Psychosis
February 12, 2024 12:54 am

Fani Willis caught laundering money into her campaign. I filed an ethics complaint with the State of Georgia yesterday. Interview by Emerald Robinson in the link. Final numbers: $23,459.54 into Willis’ campaign by contributors who gave no name or address: blanks. Secondly, I found $44,295,80 over the limit of $3,000 per person (note: includes gross total of these, GA ethics might only include the over $3,000 amounts).
And the big one: smurfing by Fani Willis abusing our elderly senior citizens by using their names and addresses without their knowledge – $184,916.45. Smurfing is campaign money laundering, structuring large sums into smaller sums over time. Using the names and addresses of citizens without their knowledge, let alone permission. Willis committed money laundering, identity theft, and elderly financial abuse. The unaware Smurfs are all over the age of 65. Willis’s campaign conspired to do all with the likes of Actblue. I know the bank(s), I have receipts. These findings and numbers are based on her reports to the State of Georgia, the GA’s campaign database and the FEC database. Over two campaign cycles. I call for an immediate investigation of Willis’ campaign.

We have a government so the 6,000 members of the Global Elite (aka The Cabal) can siphon off wealth, control resources, STEAL land, not only here but thru out the world and use Americans as Cannon Fodder in their Forever Wars to bully other nations who might try to rise up in opposition to this world wide reign of terror.

Valerie Curren

Epic, in a nutshell, analysis!

Tonawanda

Reading Wolf’s post, I began terribly missing wheatietoo.

Tradebait’s post was very informative.

A while back I realized I needed to be in good shape for whatever is going to happen this year.

So far, 40 minute brisk walk six times a week. No sugar, low carbs, every day. My wife makes the most delicious cabbage soup, and she is now making a very delicious spinach soup. Otherwise, various vegetables, etc.

Taking my blood sugar every day has been a wonderful stimulant. It was high, and it is now gradually getting better. My consciousness about the many perils of high blood sugar has been raised, and the focus on blood sugar underlies every thing else I am doing about my health. Wow, seeing the lowered scores first thing in the morning is a huge incentive. (It’s been over seven weeks).

My health circumstances are probably like many millions of Americans, and not esoteric like Wolf’s. God bless Wolf. And prayers for all Q-Tree.

I see my determination to get healthy as an essential part of my determination to fight the evil which has overtaken our country and the western world.

Sugar esp High fructose Corn Syrup is an insidious poison. I have read it is even more addictive than Cocaine.

Doctor says sugar is eight times more addictive than cocaine (Rat study)

More Addictive Than Cocaine: The Shocking Research on Sugar Addiction
8-times more addictive than cocaine to be exact

Sugar, conversely, does have withdrawal symptoms if you quit cold turkey… And like addicts, the pigs needed more sugar as the study progressed. This study and several others have enabled some researchers to postulate that sugar is more addictive than cocaine

Studies determine sugar, saccharin more addictive than cocaine — Natural News

…A compilation of scientific evaluations looking at both sugar and synthetic sweeteners reveals that these omnipresent substances often trigger the same or stronger responses in the brain as illegal drugs, and are sometimes much harder to break in terms of habitual consumption.

A paper published in the journal PLOS ONE back in 2007, for instance, explains how rats given the option to choose between drinking water sweetened with saccharin (Sweet’n Low) or intravenous cocaine almost always chose the water. A shocking 94 percent of rats, according to the researchers, actually preferred the high that they got from saccharin as opposed to the cocaine rush.

The same study found that sucrose, or common table sugar, was also preferred by the rats over cocaine. Based on this observance, the research team noted that regardless of caloric content, the sheer intensity and pleasure of sweetness seems to be more addictive than even the sensitization and intoxication brought about by cocaine, which mainstream society still recognizes as being much more harmful than sugar….

Sugar addiction is biologically equivalent to drug addiction

But is it just that the taste of sweetness is enjoyable, or is there something more going on in the brain to indicate actual dependency and addiction? Nearly 40 years ago, William Dufty helped answer this question when he penned a book entitled Sugar Blues, which highlighted the addictive properties of sugar and how sweets are a major driver for declining public health.

Many of the ideas presented in this groundbreaking book have been affirmed and reaffirmed by science, which has repeatedly demonstrated that certain neuroendocrine pathways are activated in response to sugar. The infamous “sweet tooth” and frequent sugar cravings are indicative of how these pathways drive obsessive consumption and addiction….

It might be nice for them to compare high fructose corn syrup to cane sugar.

Gail Combs

DONE!

From Natural News:
High fructose corn syrup and cane sugar – Your body knows the difference

sugar is sugar, but it certainly is not HFCS, a highly processed sweetener that is linked to obesity and a host of other health problems. This, undoubtedly, is the reason for the marketing strategy of changing its name to corn sugar, an attempt to have consumers believe that all sugar is created equal….

HFCS is derived from highly processed corn, a starchy grain. It has near equal amounts of fructose and sucrose and is similar to table sugar from a compounding perspective. Unlike fruit, however, this type of fructose is not bound to fiber causing the body to process it faster and leaving the body unsatisfied. Starches and grains often have a higher glycemic index than all sugars, and corn falls within this category. In addition, almost all of the United States corn production is genetically modified, adding to health risks.

A Princeton University study showed rats gained significant more weight when consuming HFCS in comparison to table sugar, even when the caloric intake was the same. Most interesting is the rats accessibility to sucrose was equal to the sweetness of sugar and the HFCS was half as sweet as that found in soft drinks. The rats who consumed HFCS gained 48% more weight than their sucrose peers and had significant deposits of abdominal fat and circulating triglycerides. In humans, these are characteristics of obesity, heart disease, diabetes and cancer….

Gail Combs

MORE..

This Article is a KEEPER! It was very hard to cut it down.

Dr Hyman — 5 Reasons High Fructose Corn Syrup Will Kill You

….What the Science Says About HFCS

Let’s examine the science and insert some common sense into the conversation….

Last week over lunch with Dr. Bruce Ames, one of the foremost nutritional scientists in the world, and Dr. Jeffrey Bland, a nutritional biochemist, a student of Linus Pauling, and I reviewed the existing science, and Dr. Ames shared shocking new evidence from his research center on how HFCS can trigger body-wide inflammation and obesity.

Here are 5 reasons you should stay way from any product containing high fructose corn syrup and why it may kill you.

#1 Sugar in any form causes obesity and disease when consumed in pharmacologic doses.Cane sugar and high fructose corn syrup are indeed both harmful when consumed in pharmacologic doses of 140 pounds per person per year. When one 20 ounce HFCS sweetened soda, sports drink, or tea has 17 teaspoons of sugar (and the average teenager often consumes two drinks a day) we are conducting a largely uncontrolled experiment on the human species. Our hunter gatherer ancestors consumed the equivalent of 20 teaspoons per year, not per day. In this sense, I would agree with the corn industry that sugar is sugar. Quantity matters. But there are some important differences.

#1. HFCS and cane sugar are NOT biochemically identical or processed the same way by the body. High fructose corn syrup is an industrial food product and far from “natural” or a naturally occurring substance. It is extracted from corn stalks through a process so secret that Archer Daniels Midland and Carghill would not allow the investigative journalist Michael Pollan to observe it for his book The Omnivore’s Dilemma. The sugars are extracted through a chemical enzymatic process resulting in a chemically and biologically novel compound called HFCS. Some basic biochemistry will help you understand this. Regular cane sugar (sucrose) is made of two-sugar molecules bound tightly together– glucose and fructose in equal amounts. The enzymes in your digestive tract must break down the sucrose into glucose and fructose, which are then absorbed into the body.

HFCS also consists of glucose and fructose, not in a 50-50 ratio, but a 55-45 fructose to glucose ratio in an unbound form. Fructose is sweeter than glucose. And HFCS is cheaper than sugar because of the government farm bill corn subsidies. Products with HFCS are sweeter and cheaper than products made with cane sugar. This allowed for the average soda size to balloon from 8 ounces to 20 ounces with little financial costs to manufacturers but great human costs of increased obesity, diabetes, and chronic disease.

Now back to biochemistry. Since there is there is no chemical bond between them, no digestion is required so they are more rapidly absorbed into your blood stream. Fructose goes right to the liver and triggers lipogenesis (the production of fats like triglycerides and cholesterol) this is why it is the major cause of liver damage in this country and causes a condition called “fatty liver” which affects 70 million people.

The rapidly absorbed glucose triggers big spikes in insulin–our body’s major fat storage hormone. Both these features of HFCS lead to increased metabolic disturbances that drive increases in appetite, weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, dementia, and more.

But there was one more thing I learned during lunch with Dr. Bruce Ames. Research done by his group at the Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute found that free fructose from HFCS requires more energy to be absorbed by the gut and soaks up two phosphorous molecules from ATP (our body’s energy source). This depletes the energy fuel source, or ATP, in our gut required to maintain the integrity of our intestinal lining. Little “tight junctions” cement each intestinal cell together preventing food and bacteria from “leaking” across the intestinal membrane and triggering an immune reaction and body wide inflammation. [LEAKY GUT SYNDROME -GC]

#2 High doses of free fructose have been proven to literally punch holes in the intestinal lining allowing nasty byproducts of toxic gut bacteria and partially digested food proteins to enter your blood stream and trigger the inflammation that we know is at the root of obesity, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, dementia, and accelerated aging. Naturally occurring fructose in fruit is part of a complex of nutrients and fiber that doesn’t exhibit the same biological effects as the free high fructose doses found in “corn sugar”.

#3 HFCS contains contaminants including mercury that are not regulated or measured by the FDA. An FDA researcher asked corn producers to ship a barrel of high fructose corn syrup in order to test for contaminants. Her repeated requests were refused until she claimed she represented a newly created soft drink company. She was then promptly shipped a big vat of HFCS that was used as part of the study that showed that HFCS often contains toxic levels of mercury because of chlor-alkali products used in its manufacturing…..

#4. Independent medical and nutrition experts DO NOT support the use of HFCS in our diet, despite the assertions of the corn industry[IMPORTANT TO READ THIS PART Remember the CEO of ADM was the highest contributor to the Dems & Rinos for years -GC]

#5 HFCS is almost always a marker of poor-quality, nutrient-poor disease-creating industrial food products or “food-like substances”. The last reason to avoid products that contain HFCS is that they are a marker for poor-quality, nutritionally-depleted, processed industrial food full of empty calories and artificial ingredients. If you find “high fructose corn syrup” on the label you can be sure it is not a whole, real, fresh food full of fiber, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, and antioxidants. Stay away if you want to stay healthy….

So nice to see you on the board here!
Yes — determination can be a very powerful motivator.
IMO, it’s going to be important for people to be in the best shape possible — in body, mind, and spirit — for whatever will happen this year.

barkerjim

Not to mention every other year too!

pgroup2

Just don’t try to get there alone. 😊

pgroup2

I don’t know where you’ve been getting your daily blog fix but it’s good to have you back here. 😆

My wife is confounding the heck out of the VA by refusing their drugs yet controlling her blood sugar using diet. I find it amusing.

Do not forget TRUE Cinnamon!

Cinnamon Balances Blood Sugar and Lowers Cholesterol — Natural News.

…The only form of cinnamon that is truly useful for humans is powdered bark, in capsule form. The oil contains compounds that can be harmful. Doses of 1000mg daily have been shown to make a difference in both blood sugar and LDL. [ more commonly known as the “bad cholesterol.”]

And while we are at it, the other Natural News Article I pointed to had this:

Wheat, cow’s milk contain opioid components similar to heroin

Wheat and 👉processed milk are similarly addictive, according to GreenMedInfo, which documents how many processed foods made from these additives possess narcotic properties, acting in a similar way to heroin when consumed. Modern wheat actually contains psychoactive chemicals that bind to opioid receptors in the nervous system, literally acting as a drug inside the body.

Wheat contains a variety of opioid peptides known as gluten exorphins, while cow’s milk contains a variety of casomorphin peptides. Both of these component classes are highly addictive, and are part of the reason why foods made with them are often referred to as “comfort” foods.

“Fructose… is known to increase brain levels of endogenous morphine following ingestion, and may produce metabolic products in the brain very similar to those produced by morphine,” wrote Sayer Ji for GreenMedInfo about another highly addictive food additive prevalent in the American food supply.

And as a last note on the subject:

Conjugated Linoleic Acid Reduces Body Fat Mass in Overweight and Obese Humans (Found in red meat ie grass-fed beef, sheep, goats. CLA is produced by the microflora that live in the rumen of these animals. )

Abstract

We have adapted the enzymatic method [Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications 176 (3) (1991) 1617] for the safe and rapid assay of L-carnitine (L-CA) in skeletal muscle using a microplate reader. The concentration of L-CA in fresh semitendinosus muscle from

broiler chicken, 0.69

pig, 1.09

beef cattle, 1.86

deer, 3.57 to 4.57

horse 4.95

goat muscle 11.36

and μmol/g wet weight, respectively. The animals which had higher concentration of L-CA, also had the highest amounts of myoglobin as an index to the redness of the muscle. Furthermore, we investigated this relationship between white muscle, M. pectoralis profundus, and red muscle, M.

so anyone actually watch the game yesterday?
I didn’t and am wondering what impression anyone had of the bud light commercial–the one that was supposed to make things right?
was it good or a flop?
whatever it was, it would have to top their 09-11 Clydesdales paying tribute.

Gail Combs

Bud should have just stuck with the Clydesdales instead of going with a tranny.

pat frederick

i read were they brought them BACK for this super bowl…so i was wondering
i loved the horses!!!
i never cared for the super bowl itself–but the commercials were always something special…till they all went woke. i blame Janet Jackson personally…she started it all with the nip slip (oh, excuse me–wardrobe malfunction. that’s the undocumented immigrant of entertainment mistakes.)

Valerie Curren

That game is practically the only show I deliberately don’t mute the commercials on as they used to be fun, not so much the last few years 🙁

Valerie Curren

I semi-watched with multiple distractions. There was a Clydesdales making a delivery to a bar & a Bud Lite w/ a strange dude as a genie granting various wishes, culminating in someone wishing Peyton Manning was there in the bar, wish granted, PM being featured in various BL ads previously. Not enough to erase the tranny torching of their brand in my mind, but I’m not a beer drinker nor their preferred demographic.

BTW sorry that KC won again. At least the coach & QB gave glory to God 🙂

pgroup2

Failed.

ALERT REGARDING OUR GOOD GA/FL — via Marica’s blog —

GA/FL posted a message at Marica’s blog this morning.
Her daughter, Sally Q, (who has Friedrich’s Ataxia and other health problems) is now in the ICU in the hospital. There are serious things going on with Sally Q’s heart, her diabetes, and other issues. GA/FL said she herself hasn’t slept in two days.

Please spare a prayer or an encouraging thought for GA/FL and for Sally Q.

Thank you.

thanks PAVACA . Filly brought it to my attention too…they are in my prayers!

Gail Combs

OH NO! 👃👃👃

:wpds_beg: May the Lord support both of them.

Valerie Curren

Amen!

Valerie Curren

Please let us know if there are Any updates–TY!

PAVACA

Yours Truly will add that Sally Q’s father (retired healthcare professional and GA/FL’s ex-husband of many years) is also not in good shape — IIRC, he had a bad bout of COVID last fall (he was “vaccinated”), was himself in the hospital then in rehab, and I believe now lives in an apartment with assistance. I think he can no longer help take care of Sally Q. Our good GA/FL has been / is, coordinating care for both of them.

Valerie Curren

 🙏

pgroup2

Depending on specific individual circumstances, caretakers can get paid by govt [medicaid IIRC] for caring for an SSI person who needs care.

My former spouse has gotten paid for 15 years for a paraplegic guy who cannot do any of his daily needs.

Valerie Curren

Good to know, in case my son &/or his wife deteriorates…

Lifting p GA/FL and her daughter. Give them strength and healing in Jesus name Amen

The Media Is Lying About Trump’s NATO Comments

para59r

Noticed having watched his South Carolina rally and seeing later blurbs in the news. These cads in the media and the sock puppets they run too are getting very brazen with their half truths, omissions and lies. As some actor guy once said in a popular movie “YOU (THEY) CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!😆

Aubergine

Hi Wolf!

I replied to you on TB’s post about the cataracts thing. But I will add here that one thing people overlook with their eyes is proper sun-wear. Don’t wear cheap sunglasses, no matter what ZZ Top says! The bright sun is terrible for your eyes.

And eat a cup of dark berries, every single day.

Gail Combs

Also WEAR A HAT with at least a visor, preferably a broad brim all the way round.

Since I moved south I found the hat of more use than the polarized sunglasses although you should wear both.

“Polarized lenses block glare for improved clarity and contrast, while also offering 100% UVA and UVB protection to shield your eyes from the sun’s rays.”

Aubergine

Great advice!

kalbokalbs

Rarely go anywhere outside, without a hat AND sun glasses.

Any sort of outside work, brings out my broad brim hat AND sunglasses.

SteveInCO · Thermonuclear MAGA

Unfortunately, sunglasses just make me blind.

I dreaded the day I’d run over a toddler pulling into a shaded parking spot.

Stopped wearing them.

Aubergine

Cool.

pgroup2

Don’t play around with glasses and all that. If you have cataracts and you’re over 65, most insurance will pay for the eye surgery to implant artificial lenses. The procedure also cures any astigmatism. It is the most common surgery in the US and it has virtually no side effects and rarely has any issues with the surgery itself.

My vision is now as good as it was when I was 25yo.

cthulhu

The thought of having the same vision I had when I was 25 is frightening. I wore coke-bottle glasses at that age and was working with 4+ diopters of astigmatism. I much prefer the post-LASIK vision I have enjoyed since I was 40.

kalbokalbs

Nealy posted a like scenario.

Do NOT miss my coke bottle glasses of my late teens and twenty’s. 🤓

Valerie Curren
Gail Combs

I LIKE my glasses! They protect my eyes.

I can think of three separate occasions where my glasses saved me from a severe eye injury/loss of an eye.

Aubergine

For sure. If you are at the point for surgery, get it.

Valerie Curren

My dad is going in for that procedure on one eye tomorrow morning. Hope it goes well, like it did for my mom some time back. They’re in their 80’s. Mom now just needs reading glasses, & cheaters work, but her distance vision is fine since surgery.

pat frederick

so mr wonderful almost knocked over his coach? steroids? not enough in the spotlight time? is tay tay rubbing off on him???

A Taylor Swift breakup song coming in 3, 2, 1….

That ought to do it.

mollypitcher5

Confession. Haven’t watched NFL for a couple of years except the 49ers a couple of times at my daughter’s house. Win or lose 49ers were our team forever.
FFW to last night. BF had it on.
I don’t know if it’s because of my cynical nature or what but I sure see things differently than others do at times. I’d never seen this Kelce dude other than tweets brought here.

What a loudmouth douche he is ! He did very little in the game and he did knock the hell out of the coach. Then at the awards he’s up on the podium itching for it to be his turn. He barely impacted this particular game but he got up there doing the expected ..winners! yeah BABY we’re winners..yeah BABY.. Mahones was respectful and natural giving God glory.

And my Swift comment..they showed her in the box several times. This stuck in my craw…so fake..she’s sitting there with like chewing on her manicured pinkie nail …c’mon really. The classic signal that she’s nervous ?? it was the fakest thing ever!

Those 2 deserve each other.

Valerie Curren

 😂

49ers QB is a Christian too, I believe, & was a class act in his NFC championship win over the Lions, after being down significantly at the half. He glorified the Lord in the post-game coverage then too 🙂

mollypitcher5

It’s become noteworthy when anyone in public praises the Lord. The Chief’s owner also said something like that too.

Valerie Curren

Yes I noticed that too. There were also at least 3 commercials during the game that were very God-focused. 2 that I saw were Jesus gets us style stuff & the other featured Mark Wahlberg, iirc, & featured multiple people praying & referencing Lent & a website to learn more about the Lord–all bright spots amidst increasing cultural degradation swirling the “bowl” 😉

pat frederick

Brock Purdy–yes he is…first thing out of his mouth after they won the NFC…all glory and honor to God

Valerie Curren

Yes & that was an answer to my prayer that the Lord would be glorified in whoever won that game, as I also prayed for the Super Bowl, even though I Really wanted the Lions to win both of those games, if possible 🙂

pat frederick

me too Valerie! I wanted the Lions in it too

Valerie Curren

Maybe next year..missed it by that much!

TheseTruths

https://www.christianpost.com/news/super-bowl-qb-brock-purdy-reads-this-bible-passage-every-day.html

During media availability this week ahead of Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy shared how he has leaned on Psalm 23 this season by reading the passage daily to “start off with some solitude.”

“The Lord is my shepherd. I have what I need. He lets me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters,” Purdy said, paraphrasing Psalm 23:1 during a Sports Spectrum interview posted to YouTube on Wednesday.

“For me, playing this game, playing this sport, there is a lot that goes into it. It’s easy to get wrapped up in wanting and feeling, wanting to be loved — obviously by your teammates and everybody, but like the world. For me, in that passage, its talking about I already have what I need from the Good shepherd in Jesus.”

The 24-year-old NFL athlete, who played college football for the Iowa State Cyclones and was selected by the 49ers with the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, said that he refers back to the psalm in moments when he needs it most.

“It’s what I start off with, actually, every single day. I just read off Psalm 23 to myself before I start, start off with some solitude, and then, I go about my day.”

In addition to reading the Bible, Purdy said he also prays before and while he plays.

“It’s not ‘God, can we win here? Can we do something great here?’ It’s more just to have that peace, that steadfastness in all the chaos. That’s really what it is,” he said.

Valerie Curren

wonderful!

Please

He thought he was scripted to catch the winning TD to cap the ‘perfect’ hollywood storyline.

pat frederick

i was thinking something along those lines too…
it would make for a more impressive photo op at the WH later with maggot, taco jill and his girlfriend All-About-ME Swift.
now instead of the BIG HERO, he gets to be taylor’s arm candy…must be a big blow to his ego

mollypitcher5

👆 agree with you and Please.

Cuppa Covfefe

He should have been yanked from the game, and fined.

But the gutless wonders wouldn’t do that…

If someone had done that to Tom Landry, or Vince Lombardi, they’d have ended up out on their ears (if not whacked on their butt), and likely traded or outright released…

Maybe the Satanist sitting next to not-so-Swift put him up to it, or made hand spells etc. to it….

Prolly another, nothing burger. El Centro, CA. 100 miles east of San Diego. Near border with Mexico.

22 quakes above 2.5, past 24 hours. 9, 3.5 or higher. Including 4.5 and 4.8. We’ll see if they taper off and fizzle away.

Wonder if a big one’s on the way ?

Maybe El Centro is “transitioning” into Hollister 😀

Hmmm. San Andreas transitioning to subduction? Whose fault is that…
