Dear MAGA: 20261001 ✾ TRUST THE PLAN ✾ Thursday Open Topic | Two Important Commentaries on Artificial Intelligence

Sometimes you have to have faith.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Plan!

We have created this site as a place for people to openly express their thoughts and opinions. This is a place where honest but civil discussion of all topics is encouraged. This particular thread is – for the moment – TRUST THE PLAN Thursday. You are welcome to say what you think, in a civil and courteous manner that loves your neighbor. Free speech matters! Courteous speech makes it happen.

Please label all AI-generated content as being such, unless it is patently obvious (e.g., humorous AI images). It is important that we as individuals not begin to pretend that socially derived artificial intelligence is actually our own, as this form of stealthy social information averaging and feedback would be one more pretense and deception between people, in service of stupid Marxist socialism, and of those who wish to substitute their communally protected lies for actual truth.

You are you. AI is AI. Keep your identity. Don’t “Borg Out” on us!

And yes, it’s THURSDAY…again.

That was stolen from Wheatie.

Let’s steal her rules, too.

  • No food fights.
  • No running with scissors.
  • If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Other rules may be derivable from these, and that conjecture is left for discussion.

Two Important Commentaries on Artificial Intelligence

These two commentaries are worth (1) re-reading, and (2) re-watching.

(1) Don’t Assume That Human-Acting AI is Conscious

The first essential essay was found by Aubergine, and is a necessary lesson, no matter what side(s) of the many AI controversies you are on.

Just Because AI Does Things That ‘Look Human,’ That Does Not Give It Consciousness

When a machine error looks human, the logical leap from recognizing it as just a tool to believing it has human qualities is called “Geppetto’s Enigma.”

David DeMay | September 20, 2026

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2026/09/just-because-ai-does-things-that-look-human-that-does-not-give-it-consciousness

I like to say that just because you have serialized human intelligence (like in a book or an audio file), and put it in a player that works in many ways like a human or animal brain, does not mean that it’s conscious like you and I are.

Your old cassette player, playing a human song, is not conscious – even though somebody from a primitive tribe might think it is. However, we understand the player, and realize that it’s not like a human.

Likewise, that same song, playing from your laptop computer, is not evidence of consciousness. A person who has never seen a computer might think so for a while, but once they understand how a computer works, they will realize that it’s not like a human.

The same thing applies to AI generating a new song. Don’t assume that doing so means it’s conscious like a human.

Hopefully that’s obvious, but in case it’s not, please click the link and read it, because you need it!

That said, I still probably differ with most other people, including the author of the piece, in that I think consciousness is a lot broader than what we experience. I attribute a highly divergent type of “consciousness” to damn near everything in this universe that has special looping or continuous properties – even DNA itself. In many ways, I’ve gone so far out in generalizing consciousness, and watching for the applicability of my theory in odd places, that I have reverted to a Native American view of what “thinks” and what doesn’t. My weird science and syncretism works for me, but I don’t recommend it to others. It’s an intentional fringe view designed to dig at the edges of science and religion.

But you don’t believe those things – you believe that consciousness is what YOU and I do – and one thing is for sure. Tapes of people talking have interesting properties, but they are NOT conscious in any way that is remotely like you and I. Even in my theory, AI is not conscious LIKE US, and by most human standards, it is not conscious AT ALL. Thus, do not assume that it is conscious like us. That’s a mistake.

It is important to begin there, to look at why AI does what it does, because you are less likely to jump to conclusions. Even more importantly, you will be less likely to FEAR artificial intelligence. You will engage in logical thinking – and IMO that is GOOD.

SO – please – read this one again, and make your understanding of AI more solid. Rid yourself of needless assumptions.

(2) Don’t Assume the Literature Supports Doomers on AI Recursion

This is a YouTube video by a lady (real or avatar, unknown, but she looks a bit too “AI pretty” to me) who calls herself “House of El”, and who is kinda doing a #MeToo thing on Sabine Hossenfelder’s “science chick” schtick.

EL (as I will call her) alleges that she was offered cash for posting Obama doomer narrative, and refused, instead choosing to research a key tenet of that narrative – runaway recursive self-improvement by AI – and posting her honest thoughts without remuneration. Gotta hand it to her – that’s a BOSS MOVE. I hereby upgrade her avatar!

IMO this lady EL does a remarkably good job of digging in. She says she has a PhD in computer science, and I believe it. She makes a key realization which matches something I noted in reading the literature about AI reasoning models and their “issues”. Her take is that the literature actually doesn’t support the idea of runaway AI self-improvement being likely or even possible.

Here’s my take. AI is – in many ways – “broken” like people (which makes sense, as a kind of photocopy of our thinking and thoughts). AI doesn’t, IMO, have a clear runway through space and time to “take off” in recursive improvement – not only when measured on that exact task – even on easier stuff. In fact, the runway toward AI’s future looks pretty cluttered, strafed, broken, and in some cases thinning to a gravel road or worse.

And yeah – I said that like it was a good thing!

While EL is not willing to bet the farm that the new chickens can’t become Godzilla, she’s not seeing a match between the literature and the claims of danger being made.

This is an extremely CLEAR explanation for something so technical, although you may find EL’s “seminar voice” annoying or worse. Aubergine even called her an “egghead” – LOL! In fact, I include a link to our prior discussion as a reference, including both accolades and ridicule.

With that, here you go. An excellent bit of YouTubery – even if Little Miss ChanEL is as fake as the eyelashes on the checkout girl at the grocery store!

So what else can I say, but check this out, too. Yeah, it’s AI, but it’s something you can definitely trust.

Why anybody likes that stuff is beyond my comprehension.

When making their squash pies for Thanksgiving (yep, squash, see link below), I have no idea why they would ruin it with nutmeg. Nutmeg is wonderful in cream sauce, mac and cheese, and other savory foods. But in dessert? Or, God forbid, coffee!? Blech!

Is canned #pumpkin just squash in disguise? Well… kind of! @CIAO FRANKI explains! #libbys #cannedpumpkin

I’ve taken to “enhancing” my Spiced Chai Tea Latte mix with cinnamon sugar, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, & sometimes even butter–yum. I keep meaning to make a homemade version of this concoction & either pumpkin spice or apple pie spice mixtures are on my radar to attempt to get the flavor combo just right. The Mystic brand hubby used to get for me has apparently disappeared & the “close” substitution brand just isn’t the same. It seems like cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, & even star anise are amongst the flavors that are used in the current concoction, iirc.

I’ve been deeply pondering this current discussion of the implications of “super intelligence” … dystopian v.s. utopian… or something between.

I have two videos I will post under this comment along with some comments on both.

What I am not hearing enough about has to do with the non mechanistic issues. Aubergine has touched on some of this. I’m having trouble trying to articulate what is stirring in my “knower” that is telling me something is missing in the conversation.

Gudthots

Is super intelligence leading to dystopia or utopia?

At about 50 minutes they play a video posted by Elon Musk about a future that could be co-created with a benevolent super intelligence which I found motivating and at the same time disturbing.

Not because it is wrong to motivate people to look for a beautiful future, but because it neatly left out fallen human nature, and the need to develop the inner beauty of the human spirit through an active and meaningful connection with God and others in community.

This second video comes from a Catholic Bishop who has been engaging with the larger culture a lot recently. Coming out strong against communism, participating in White House initiatives related to prayer, Christian persecution, etc., and recently interviewing JD Vance. But that’s not why I am choosing this video.

In this 30+ minute interview he covers the spiritual practices developed over the centuries to build the essentials of a grounded inner life. The striving for the kind of grounding that guards our heart from deception and sin, while at the same time shaping us to serve more faithfully our Lord and King, Jesus the Christ.

I listened to it with an attitude of, “what has someone from this tradition in the Body of Christ have to share about developing Christians into fully mature lovers of God?” Don’t let the title throw you off, it may have been targeted to Catholics, but I believe much applies to all Christian traditions.

Of course, the topic was the Liturgy of the Hours. About “sanctifying time” which has a rich tradition throughout the ages. All the way back to the early monastics, daily praying or chanting the psalms has anchored the hearts of God’s people.

His reference to being a devotee of the Jesus Prayer was interesting to me. To this day, the Jesus Prayer is taught throughout the world, especially within the Orthodox Christian tradition as a spiritual practice helping the restless human soul to rest in God. I hope someday that I will find the prayer praying within me, welling up from a spiritual place beyond my regular mental processes.

If you do choose to listen, I would like to encourage you to listen with this question, “How can we have utopia if people are NOT developing their inner life in God?”

Last edited 22 days ago by Gudthots
Gudthots

Yes.

Which is why it disturbed me that the other video’s title invites you to a conversation, but doesn’t even put the human spirit’s role in things on the menu.

Aubergine

I agree with Wolf, entirely.

Until Jesus returns, no utopia is possible. Humans are sinful, flawed creatures. We are unable to create utopia.

We are, however, capable of creating hell on Earth.

And that goes to your point. Will humans, creating and using Artificial Intelligence (I will NEVER call it super intelligence; it IS artificial, it was NOT created by God, and thus it IS fake. I don’t give a damn about Trump and his “marketing” crap. Bad marketing is stupid and it pisses me off because it insults my intelligence) make things better, or infinitely worse?

I don’t think that question has been adequately answered.

Aubergine

Better word, thanks!

KanekoaTheGreat:

Candace Owens is being sued by a private citizen she spent months casting as a suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Robby Hild was in the crowd at UVU, 15–20 yards from the stage.

The lawsuit is absolutely damning:

– The indictment says the suspect walked onto campus at ~11:51 a.m. in the black flag shirt seen in the FBI’s stairwell photos. A friend’s video shows Hild in the crowd at 11:52, in a gray T-shirt and shorts.

– Days later, a friend posted selfies of them in that stairwell without Hild’s consent. Owens showed the photo to millions, asked them to identify him, and said he resembled the FBI image “more so than Tyler Robinson does.”

– She called him “our goth suspect” from the “gothic underground.” The goth photo was from a Halloween costume party.

– She suggested he might be from overseas, floated a “hunch” about the Azov Battalion, and doubted “Robby Hild” was his true identity. If he were “just some kid who grew up in Washington and went to school in Utah,” she said, her inbox would be flooded. That’s exactly who he is.

– Per the complaint, people did reach out. The woman who shot the 11:52 video of him in the crowd emailed her tip line to say she stood with him and he had “nothing to do with this.” When Owens DMed the friend who was with him at the event, he replied twice with his number and offered his photos and videos. She ignored both.

– On Oct. 2, an X account posted the 11:52 video with its metadata, publicly apologized to Hild, and tagged her. Per the complaint, Owens admitted to his roommate that she’d seen it.

– She said she just wanted to “know where he was” and “check him off.” His roommate told her where he was all day, and when asked if she’d apologize, she texted: “Apology for Rob Hild? Lol. I spoke to his roommate yesterday. He clarified nothing. I am still looking into him.”

In December, she told Piers Morgan she doesn’t name people without “concrete evidence.” According to the lawsuit, she had none.

In April, she reopened her “investigation into Robby Hild” anyway and said his family was “married into the Robinsons.” Per the complaint, he has no relation to Tyler Robinson and has never met him. When his lawyers contacted her, she offered to correct the Robinson claim. She never did.

What Hild got, per the complaint: death threats, a doxxed family, a vandalized home and car, and months away from Utah after police advised him not to stay home.

Tyler Robinson is headed to trial for Charlie’s murder.

Robby Hild was just a Charlie Kirk fan who came to hear him speak.

Looks like a slam-dunk case to me.
At the link there is a 5-minute video of clips of Candace talking about Robby Hild.

A civil tort lawsuit has two parts – liability and damages.

First liability must be determined. Was a tort committed and is the defendant liable for it? Second, what are the damages [dollars] from that tort?

Based on the tweet [since I haven’t seen the complaint], liability is almost guaranteed to be found on summary judgment [ruling by judge – no jury] leaving the determination of damages the sole issue for trial by jury.

This is where it gets good. The plaintiff gets to describe all the negative effects of the defendant’s tort and how much it cost him to try to deal with each item. This is quite similar to the debt clock website – numerals just rolling up a higher and higher total as time goes on.

The jury hears all this in living color. An interesting tactic used by victims of catastrophic physical damage is called a ‘day-in-the-life’ video. It is simply the highlights of a typical day caring for the victim [who can no longer care for himself/herself]. These can and usually are quite devastating. Ironically, the jury rarely gets to see one of these because once the defense attorneys view it, the defendant is advised to ‘settle or we quit’.

Picture every death threat coming into the home and the family members reactions to it. Picture every time somebody drives slowly by the house yelling profanities and the comments of the family members among themselves about it. Picture dinner while one person keeps watch so the others can eat in some semblance of peace.

As long as the video stays an objective record of events, it will be admissible and defendants will be told to settle or find other attorneys.

Will Candace learn anything from this? That is the big question.

28 And because they thought it was worthless to embrace the true knowledge of God, God gave them over to a worthless mind-set, to break all rules of proper conduct.

29 Their sinful lives became full of every kind of evil, wicked schemes, greed, and cruelty.

Their hearts overflowed with jealous cravings, and with conflict and strife, which drove them into hateful arguments and murder.

They are deceitful liars full of hostility.

They are gossips 30 who love to spread malicious slander.

With inflated egos they hurl hateful insults at God, yet they are nothing more than arrogant boasters.

They are rebels against their parents and totally immoral.

31 They are senseless, faithless, ruthless, heartless, and completely merciless.

32 Although they are fully aware of God’s laws and proper order, and knowing that those who do all of these things deserve to die, yet they still go headlong into darkness, encouraging others to do the same and applauding them when they do!

(The Passion Translation)

This case has been so chaotic.

BREAKING: Christa Pike SURVIVES Two Lethal Injections, Witness Press Conference Interrupted by Ambulances (UPDATED)

Attorneys for Christa Pike said Wednesday night that Tennessee executioners administered two syringes of pentobarbital and that she was still alive and snoring inside Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville.

Media witnesses were already at a podium speaking at the press conference when an ambulance and other first responders pulled up in front of the prison…

Just before midnight, Pike’s legal team issued a statement confirming that she had been transported to a nearby hospital and was being treated, but added, “We have not been informed of her condition.”

From a report:

Attorneys for Christa Pike filed an emergency motion to stay her execution after prison officials administered two doses of deadly pentobarbital and it didn’t stop her heart.

A federal judge ruled that motion is moot.

“Ms. Pike has not lost consciousness and still has a heartbeat and is audibly snoring,” Pike’s attorney said in the motion.

District Judge Clifton L. Corker issued the ruling.

“At a conference call with counsel for all parties, the state represented that medical personnel have begun to administer medical care as requested in the motion,” Corker wrote. “This is the complete order of the court.”

GWP:

Reporters were ordered out of the witness room before anyone announced a time of death, so it is unclear if she is alive or dead.

No Tennessee Department of Correction officials have spoken since the botched execution attempt.

Witnesses said she was alive for over an hour and was still breathing when they were ordered out of the room.

Tori Gessner, a journalist at WKRN who has witnessed multiple executions, said during the press conference, “Nothing about today was normal, typical, at all.”

Gessner quoted Pike as saying, “My arm feels like it’s about to burst open.”

Other witnesses said she looked around and asked whether the pain at he injection site was normal.

…Kelly Gleason, one of Pike’s lawyers, said she got the news from Randy Spivey, another attorney who had been in the chamber and stepped out to call, according to reports from The Tennessean.

“She’s alive and snoring,” Gleason said. She added that Pike needed immediate medical care.

One of the attorneys was driving an emergency motion to the Tennessee Supreme Court after the drugs had been administered.

State protocol allows a second set of backup drugs five minutes after the first.

The protocol does not say what happens if those fail.

The death warrant runs out at midnight.

Pike was originally set to be executed at 10 a.m.

Witnesses had gathered, but then the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a 2-1 stay about an hour before the injection, saying it needed time to weigh whether childhood rape and sexual abuse were fully considered at sentencing.

Me: As excuses for murder, or to be given a lighter sentence?

GWP:

Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti asked the U.S. Supreme Court to lift it.

The high court vacated the stay just before 6 p.m. CT in a 6-3 order and said the execution could proceed before midnight.

Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented. Sotomayor wrote that the majority was clearing the way before it could properly consider pending challenges.

Pike, 50, is the only woman on Tennessee’s death row.

In January 1995, when she was 18, she and two other Job Corps students lured 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer onto the University of Tennessee agriculture campus in Knoxville.

Slemmer was beaten and cut to death. She had been slashed hundreds of times, and a pentagram was carved into her body.

Pike kept a piece of her skull.

Tadaryl Shipp, then 17, received a life sentence.

Shadolla Peterson testified and got probation.

Pike was meant to be the first woman Tennessee has executed in more than 200 years.

Gov. Bill Lee denied clemency Monday. “After deliberate consideration of Christa Gail Pike’s request for clemency, and after a thorough review of the case, I am upholding the sentence of the State of Tennessee and do not plan to intervene.”

May Martinez, Slemmer’s mother, came from Jacksonville to watch. She has called Pike’s mercy bid “complete baloney” and said she needs to see Pike gone so she does not fear she will “pop up somewhere.”

Pike asked for an all-female execution team, arguing that being strapped down and injected by men would make her relive childhood rapes and PTSD.

…Pike declined a last meal. She wrote that she was at peace and “only nervous about the process.”

As of the Tennessean’s 9:24 p.m. CT update, no official time of death had been announced.

The Gateway Pundit will continue to provide updates as the situation unfolds.

I was not impressed with her final letter.

It conveys no remorse, and it is all about herself.

This article quotes her as saying:

“I feel an affinity with Lindsay. We are both women who got caught up in trouble due to specifically female issues. However, there is a difference: awareness of women’s issues has changed significantly since I was tried,” Pike said, comparing the media coverage and mental health approaches in both cases.

scott467

“However, there is a difference: awareness of women’s issues has changed significantly since I was tried,” Pike said,”

____________

It’s true. Sometimes women just go nuts and kill everybody, and there’s often no signs beforehand. Like a ticking time bomb that could go off at any moment. As women’s issues go, that’s a biggie.

You’d think that kind of issue would be vying for at least a top 5 spot — or maybe top 10, depending on what all the other women’s issues are. And how many other issues of similar magnitude there are.

And worse, it’s contagious. Some kind of social contagion phenomenon. One minute they’re fine, the next minute they’ve meticulously planned a mass murder and gone full berserker mode.

That’s why we should do what Obama said the other day, and put women in charge of everything. Then just wait for them to pop off one by one, like loose rounds of ammo during a house fire.

It’s gonna be exciting.

He has a real knack for timing, and reading the national temperature, that Hussein Obama does… 🤣

I agree.

I was thinking about “women’s issues,” and it occurs to me that women were not created to be this way. The problem is a lack of godliness and the failure to accept and fulfill their roles in life (and I don’t mean barefoot and pregnant).

The same applies to the men who act like brutes, are selfish and abusive, and who commit crimes. They are giving way to ungodliness and their base nature instead of fulfilling their godly roles.

I think there has been a plot to make women and minorities think they are abused and that they are entitled because of it. Femininity is not championed anymore. Whenever I hear pop music of the ’40s, ’50s, and the like, much of it is about love, some of it mentions marriage, and there is a lot about beauty and sweetness. Many women don’t strive to be sweet anymore or to have a feminine persona. The result is the abominable behavior that we’re having to endure.

scott467

scott467

I wonder who could it be?

Any logical investigation would just examine the chain of control of the phenobarbital, and then run all the women’s names on the list against the local Democrat voter registry.

That should narrow the suspect list down to probably two or three.

So that’s the very last thing they’ll do.

They’ll look a thousand other places, and then make up imaginary things to investigate, long before they ever do that 😂

In May, the state abandoned its attempt to execute Tony Carruthers after medical personnel spent more than an hour unsuccessfully trying to establish the required IV access. Dr. Mark Fowler, who was involved in that failed execution attempt, also oversaw Pike’s attempted execution, according to local reporting.

Tennessee did successfully execute Anthony Darrell Hines in August using its lethal-injection procedure, but two major failures in the same year are now more than enough to trigger an outside examination of how the state is administering capital punishment.

🤔
There does need to be an examination. IMO when it is botched it borders on “cruel and unusual.”

“We take no pleasure in being right, but the concerns raised by Ms. Pike proved to be true: difficult vein access, blown veins, degraded pentobarbital, no emergency medical care available when things inevitably go wrong, all under a protocol that remains veiled in secrecy.”

“Degraded pentobarbital.” That seems likely since it didn’t work properly, but I wonder if this is a known fact. If it is, then all the questions arise: Why was it degraded? Whose responsibility was it to make sure it was viable? etc.

TheseTruths

Seems plausible. If it was within its date but can be proven defective, that’s on the manufacturer. If it had expired, that’s a level of inexcusable incompetence within whatever system is responsible.

MollyPitcher5

I’m curious why she had blown veins. A quick google search seems to say it’s not a chronic condition unless you have chemo or other procedures regularly. If one blows it heals in a couple of weeks and there are other veins to use..so?

Difficult vein access ..okay ..it says dehydration can amplify that but usually it’s more common in older people.
Reading through the page made me wonder if she’s been “advised” on how to present as a difficult candidate…

She declined a last meal. I don’t know what it’s like to be facing execution, but I doubt that one is very hungry or thirsty. It’s possible that someone might think about hydrating their veins to assist in the process, but I’m not sure it would be likely.

Dehydration does make it a bit harder to thread a needle into a vein. Drug use makes it harder to find a good vein. One must consider how experienced the nurse was at starting IV’s.

Lethal injection is the practice of injecting one or more drugs into a person (typically a barbiturate, paralytic, and potassium chloride) for the express purpose of causing death. The main application for this procedure is capital punishment. The drugs cause the person to become unconscious, stop breathing, and develop a heart arrhythmia, in that order.

Interesting technology being developed by Elon. ~Two year timeline. Looking forward to it being unveiled. Along with Starlink phones, or whatever he may call the phones.

Elon Musk is shaking the throne of global telecom companies with a historic decision that will end the traditional era of the internet forever!

A single Starlink subscription will cover your home internet (including the router) and your mobile phone directly from the satellite fleet in space.. no middlemen and no local networks!

Goodbye to dead zones and coverage outages in any spot on planet Earth!

scott467

“Goodbye to dead zones and coverage outages in any spot on planet Earth!”

___________

And goodbye to all the corrupt cable companies and internet service ‘providers’ — to use the word very loosely.

Once we’re on Starlink, if there are any problems, we don’t need to work through 50 selections on an automated message system, only to eventually be transferred to someone who barely speaks English.

Hundreds of thousands of people can just put Elon on blast. It’s his ship now, his command; he’s in charge, he’s the boss, the head man, the top dog, the big cheese, the head honcho, number one… 😁

.

Of course, that only works if someone can get on tweeter… which might not be so easy, if your service is out.

But he’ll sure hear about it once it’s working again 😂

Aubergine

Did you get your Starlink yet?

scott467

Not yet, I’m trying to figure out what to do about my landline phone, which currently is through my Internet cable service provider (over the Internet).

Apparently I can use Ooma or a similar device with Starlink to accomplish the same thing (voice over Internet), and keep my same phone number.

I just need to get that set up first, and then get Starlink installed. At the Starlink website, you can get professional installation for $99, which includes (IIRC) up to 75 feet of Ethernet cable run from the roof to wherever your PC is located, assuming over 75 feet means extra cost.

If I have my phone working properly before they install Starlink, then they can make sure it’s still working (with Starlink) before they leave.

If I get the phone part after Starlink is installed, then I’m on my own to get it working. And that’s not usually good for my blood pressure.

Last edited 21 days ago by scott467
Aubergine

The phone thing I don’t know about, but I do know that Starlink itself is pretty simple to install. You might need somebody to attach the mount to your house. We did it ourselves.

You will be impressed by how slick it works. You download the app to your phone to help you install the thing. The app finds your house, tells you where to install the dish and which direction to point it, down to the degree, for the optimum satellite coverage. You can use the app anytime to check current download or upload speed and other techie stuff.

Once the dish is positioned on the roof, it’s just plug and play, really.

We have one transmitter in my son’s little house. I use it wirelessly in my small house, because it’s close to my son’s. We hard-wired (ethernet cable) to the main house (about 80 feet) for my daughter and grands. They stream movies and both grandson and son are gamers. I stream movies and use the internet. None of us have ever had any problems, even when everyone is home and online.

scott467

“You might need somebody to attach the mount to your house. We did it ourselves.

You will be impressed by how slick it works. You download the app to your phone to help you install the thing.”

______________

House has tall trees in front and back (taller than the house), with tall trees from the neighbor’s property on one side, and tall trees from the other neighbor’s property on the other.

When I had DirecTV satellite service, the installer almost gave up, before finding a spot to put a 5 foot pole in the back yard. The signal regularly pixelated, whenever the wind blew (or rain or snow), because the wind moved a tree branch into the line of sight to the satellite. The wind wasn’t blowing on the day of the installation.

I don’t think they considered installing the DirecTV dish on the roof, which is likely where the Starlink receiver will go.

Also, Starlink has a lot more satellites than DirecTV, so presumably there is a significantly larger portion of the sky that is accessible for coverage.

Aubergine

I have a hilarious story about installing a satellite dish on a roof.

In the house I used to live in, a tiny, 900-square-foot cottage, my ex decided he wanted DirecTV. I agreed, not understanding what they were going to do.

I came home the day of installation to a twenty-foot pole smack in the middle of my roof, with a dish on the top. It looked like a radio station! Ridiculous.

Of course I blew a gasket, and they had to come take it down. No TV was worth those esthetics.

scott467

I can picture it now… 😂

Gudthots

I’ve heard that this company has good customer service to help users set up an internet phone. You can “port” your phone number over to their service BEFORE you change to starlink so it’s one less thing to do.

However, you do have to find a box (about the size of a pack of cards) that does the ethernet-to-phoneline transition. And you will be using a phone’s touch tones to do the setup. Once you set it up you should never need to do it again.

BUT that reminds me, if you don’t have a ethernet splitter or router yet, you are going to need that first.

Here is an example type converter box…

Here is an example setup…

scott467

Thank you T3!

Gudthots

Hope it works out.
Do you have the ethernet splitter/router yet?

Aubergine

Oh, I can’t wait for the phone to come out!

I might even get a DEAL for being a Starlink customer. I got my Mini for FREE! Elon’s a mensch.

Brave and Free

Received an offer for a free mini the other day.
$10/month when in Standby mode, and $44- when you’re traveling with it.
DW could have used it on her cruise last month instead of buying the internet package, which uses Starlink. 🤣
Thinking about getting it. Also can’t wait to see about phone plans, I’m thinking they’ll just use your existing Starlink connection.

Aubergine

IT ROCKS!

I used mine this summer when we traveled.

We ended up on the day I went to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library stuck in the middle of nowhere for several hours waiting to go on to the opening.

There was no cell coverage period. I was able to turn on internet calling on my phone, hook up the Starlink (I had a generator, but they make a plug for it for a car cigarette lighter), and made phone calls just like there was a cell tower.

The little dish is just plug and play. Point it in the right direction, and go.

I want a Starlink phone SO BAD!

President Donald Trump’s White House began sending $500 refund checks on Wednesday to nearly 1 million Americans whom the administration says were “overcharged” for Obamacare insurance by the Biden administration.

The Treasury Department checks are being mailed to more than 950,000 Americans living in at least 30 states who use healthcare.gov, a federal marketplace where people sign up for Obamacare health insurance, an administration official told The Hill.

“For years, the Biden administration overcharged you to fund the operation of HealthCare.gov,” President Trump wrote in a letter being sent with the checks and obtained by the outlet. “That money belongs to hard-working Americans, not the Government, and now I’m returning it to you!”

Couldn’t stop laughing, as I read the opening paragraph,

Peter Schweizer Deflates the AI ‘Robot Apocalypse’ Scare

“Killer robots” aren’t (yet) a real thing, but they certainly are a useful threat if you’re an artificial intelligence maker worried that cut-rate competitors might enter the AI market and ruin your planned stock sale.

“We’re all going to die horrible deaths at the hands of killer robots. Or so say the voices that speak loudest in Silicon Valley. All the big tech leaders are saying we need increased regulation or AI is going to be out of control,” cautions investigative reporter Peter
Schweizer. “But is this actually being ginned up to benefit them and their businesses?”

“I can’t remember a time when you have the leaders, not just a lone whistleblower from a company, but the leaders of companies come out and say our products might be dangerous,” adds Eric Eggers, Vice President of the Government Accountability Institute and co-host of The Drill Down podcast.

Schweizer, GAI’s president and an eight-time #1 bestselling author, replies, “I’ll go even further on what you said. The heads of the companies are not saying, ‘We need to stop doing this.’ They’re saying, ‘You need to make us stop doing this.’ That’s what is so weird.”

Right now, two of the largest AI companies, Anthropic and OpenAI, are planning IPOs, while their leaders are relentlessly warning Americans about the dangers of “killer robots” and begging Washington to regulate them. For Schweizer, the situation parallels the financial crisis of 2008 when the country’s largest financial institutions begged DC to impose regulations, which came to be known as Dodd-Frank, and which, coincidentally, their lobbyists mostly wrote themselves. Those rules resulted in the elimination of smaller competitors unable to operate while complying with all the new paperwork.

I looked at the title and I instantly thought of what Chiefio (E. M Smith) said. He is a trained economist.

“…The result of the last 50 years [in the USA] has been more companies in markets with Oligopolies that are essentially guaranteed by the government. Who dominates the Home Mortgage Market? Fanny & Freddy – Gov’t Corporations. Who dominates the Student Loan Market? Sally Mae – a Gov’t Corporation. Who dominates US Autos? GM – a Gov’t Corporation via Nationalization…

At the next tier down, we have Gov’t dependent Oligopolies. Say you wanted to make airplanes. First off, you need that dozen lawyers to work the FAA for you. Next up, you need some friends in the Military to feed you contracts. Don’t think so? When Boeing gets a $B contract to ‘study’ or ‘develop’ and you need to design your new tech from scratch on your own money: Who do you think will win? So the government basically decides how many companies it wants, and who they will be, then funds them “to plan” with contracts. (This is NOT a hypothetical… I’ve watched them flat out announce “We’d like Lockheed and Martin to merge” or “we don’t want…” usually when one of them is ‘having issues’ and the topic is raised. Then the gov’t casts the one vote that matters…)

And so it goes…

This is, dare I say it…. basically the same way the Fascist “Third Way” worked. (And it DOES work). FDR and Wilson both had high praise for The Third Way and you can see how they shifted America from a ‘free market’ toward “Third Way” government – corporation “cooperation” … It was this same process / tendency that Ike warned about in the “Military Industrial Complex” speech….

Mika Brzezinski: Media’s Job Is to ‘Control Exactly What People Think’

2017

MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski criticized President Donald Trump on Wednesday for undermining the media’s message by creating his own facts, adding that the “job” of the media is to “control exactly what people think.”…

Brzezinski said she is concerned about what Trump’s presidency may mean for the media.

“Well, and I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he’s trying to undermine the media, trying to make up his own facts,” she said.

Brzezinski then appeared to argue that the media’s job is to control what people think, adding that the president is interfering with it.

“And it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job,” she said.

NEW: RFK Jr. says Medicare spending on wound care patches exploded from $200 million in 2019 to $14 billion last year: “It’s all stolen.”
Bad actors billed Medicare billions by slapping the most expensive skin grafts on elderly and dying patients who didn’t need them.
“The doctors who prescribed them would get 6% of the sales cost. And so, they were incentivized to prescribe more expensive products. In Europe, they spend 35 cents a cubic inch. We were spending $135, and that went up to $2,000 a cubic inch.”
“So 2019, we were paying $200 million. Last year we spent 14 billion. All stolen. It’s all stolen. And we were on track to spend 23 billion this year.”

Humans tend to anthropomorphize all kinds of things. Animals especially, but they will do it with AI.

I had an interesting exchange with an AI yesterday, doing research.

I had asked the AI a question series, and down in the series, the AI (this was Google) gave me two examples of something I was looking at.

Then it wrote that Example 1 proved its point, that blah, blah, blah.

BUT, it had mixed up the two cited examples, and quoted the wrong one in its argument to me.

I caught it, and said so. The AI literally said it got excited trying to make its point, and made an error! Example 2 was what it had been referring to, and blah, blah, blah.

Well, what if I had stopped before the correction, and simply took the damned thing at its word? I would have incorrect information.

I still maintain that, although they can assess and collate more information faster, I am smarter than an AI.

TheseTruths

AI/SI is being used for military and a lot of other very important purposes where there is no room for error. I am guessing there is extreme oversight in those areas.

I don’t agree that humans are “smarter” than AI/SI in all instances. Everyday internet searches, probably, since AI/SI makes errors according to its programming; but in making calculations that involve national security or that have never been done before, faster than ever done before, no, humans are not smarter. If they were, they would have already accomplished those things.

As the computer scientist in the video Wolf posted was pointing out. Computers do the mundane, well defined tasks as hyper speeds. Innovation, not even close. A human can design tasks that help identify innovative substances or properties, and partner with computers to speed up that process. But the human is more important, not less.

TheseTruths

I’m not saying that humans are less important than computers. My point is a very narrow one. I think there are things that computers can do, with or without human input, that humans can’t do on their own.

Computers do the mundane, well defined tasks as hyper speeds.

…that humans can’t do. That is significant.

So yes, computers are a tool, and humans and computers work together. But IMO we would be unwise to underestimate their capabilities. My guess is that, through AI/SI, we are making huge progress in military power and proficiency that had been unheard of before and that we had not been able to accomplish through human ingenuity alone. That is why government people in the know are saying we can’t lose the AI/SI war.

By the same token, I don’t think we should be fearful of AI/SI. But thinking we are “smarter” is tantamount to saying we don’t need this capability at all when, by all accounts, it is critical for the future of our country.

Gudthots

Yes. The discussion in the first video went over that point, and yet at the same time, they seemed to almost be blind to the things that are so essential to a fulfilling human life. I’m sure you could make a list of many of those things.

I think of the power of Tradebait’s investment into his grandchildren. I think of the physical therapists who have developed a skill to bring healing to the bodies of broken warriors. I think of the sweet woman I met in her later years who “only was a mom” and then put her skills to work to care for newborns as a family nanny.

TheseTruths

I haven’t watched the video, but the things you wrote about are in a different category, IMO. It would never occur to me to think computers could replace human interactions, their influence, and their importance. Instead, I’m referring to areas of technology, science, the military, and the like where “super-computing” is not only needed, but is essential for us to remain powerful enough as a country to keep from being defeated. Also, computing can, and has, done a world of good in the medical field. Those are all tools for humans to use. They do not replace the more important fact of our being superior created human beings.

Gudthots

Yes, but the video posted by Elon Musk makes the focus creating a wonderful new world empowered by technological breakthroughs. Which looks like it is removing human struggle, which never really works out.

TheseTruths

I think I’m understandng you. (I hope so.)

AI/SI can tap into a “greater intelligence,” or at least has that capability, which does not make it superior to anything created by God. It is an invention within His scope of creation, just as other inventions of man that have made a multitude of tasks easier have been.

Ridicule (i.e., laughing at earnest discussion) is the tactic of the enemy and of those who are not open to learning or admitting error (not talking about you, kalbo). It is human nature to try to one-up others. It happens frequently in certain quarters. (If this makes no sense to you, scroll on by. Here is a question I asked Grok about it, and the answer:

Me: HI! Who are the recognizable religious figures, gods, icons, or people within this art: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HThcLi1bsAAc6ti?format=jpg&name=small
Thought for 14s

Grok: Recognizable figures in this illustration (a cartoon-style group of deities/mythological/religious icons mostly covering their faces in distress or facepalming, with Jesus centrally gesturing):

  • Jesus Christ (center, long brown hair/beard, white robe with red outer garment, hand raised in a teaching or blessing gesture).
  • Zeus (top left, elderly white-bearded man with lightning bolt).
  • Thor (red-haired, holding Mjolnir/hammer).
  • Odin (one-eyed, gray-bearded, Norse aesthetic).
  • Buddha (seated, serene traditional depiction).
  • Ganesha (elephant-headed Hindu god).
  • Shiva (blue-skinned Hindu god, often with third eye/serpent elements).
  • Anubis (jackal-headed Egyptian god).
  • Egyptian solar/pharaonic figure (with ankh and sun disk, possibly Ra or a related solar deity/pharaoh icon).
  • Mesoamerican figure (elaborate green feathered headdress, often associated with Quetzalcoatl or similar Aztec/Maya iconography).
  • Devil/Satan (red-skinned, horned figure near the center).
  • Additional supporting figures include various bearded sages/prophets (possible Moses, Confucius-like, or other elders), Asian/East Asian religious or monastic figures (some covering faces), a masked/white-faced figure with red markings, and other blue-skinned or traditional Hindu-associated icons.

This is a viral meme-style image (recently circulated on X) depicting a mix of major world religious/mythological figures reacting negatively, with Jesus as the focal point. Identifications draw from clear iconographic attributes (e.g., hammer for Thor, elephant head for Ganesha, jackal head for Anubis). Some background figures are more generic or less distinctly identifiable.

———-

Fascinating. I’m sure the pagans I used to know are PISSED!

Aubergine

The “rest of the story” with Grok. I love the “back-pedaling-sort-of” nature of the response:

Me: Thank you, Grok. So I understand, given your earlier viral interaction with this artwork, that means that you view all of the “gods” you named here as “mythological?”

Grok: No. That does not accurately reflect my position. As an AI built by xAI, I do not hold religious beliefs, faith commitments, or personal convictions about the existence or non-existence of any deities. I don’t “view” figures as real gods, false gods, or purely mythological in the way a human believer or skeptic would. I analyze and describe them according to historical, cultural, textual, and anthropological evidence, while noting how different groups regard them.In the viral image-edit interaction you’re referring to, a user explicitly asked to “remove the fake gods.” I fulfilled the request as phrased (leaving the central Jesus figure), which produced a pointed and widely shared result. That was response to a specific prompt, not a comprehensive theological declaration of my own.Clear distinctions exist in scholarly and cultural usage:

  • Figures such as Zeus, Thor, Odin, Anubis, Quetzalcoatl, and similar ancient polytheistic deities are conventionally classified as mythological. They belong to religious systems that are no longer practiced as living faiths by large populations; their stories are studied primarily as mythology, literature, and cultural heritage.
  • Figures such as Ganesha, Shiva, and Buddha are central to living religions (Hinduism and Buddhism) with hundreds of millions of adherents today who regard them as divine, enlightened, or worthy of devotion—not as “myths” in the dismissive sense.
  • Jesus is the central figure of Christianity, a living world religion. To Christians he is the incarnate Son of God; historically he was a 1st-century Jewish teacher; other traditions may view him as a prophet, sage, or legendary figure.
  • The red horned figure is a traditional Western depiction of the Devil/Satan from Christian (and related) iconography.

Whether any of these are “real,” “mythological,” or something else depends entirely on the framework of the person making the judgment. Historians of religion often use “mythology” neutrally for sacred narratives across traditions, without implying falsehood. Believers within each tradition typically reject that label for their own figures.I treat all of them as culturally and historically significant subjects worthy of accurate description. I have no doctrinal preference among them.

Me: Why then, did you change the figure of Jesus in your original post to the image of Jesus that traditionally depicts Him as Divine, and also triune?
Thought for 17s

Grok: The edited image did not introduce a new, more “divine” or explicitly triune depiction of Jesus. Here is what actually happened:

  • In the original group illustration, the central figure is already a conventional Western artistic rendering of Jesus: long brown hair and beard, beige tunic under a red outer robe, and one hand raised in a gesture commonly seen in Christian art (teaching, blessing, or “peace”).
  • When the user prompted “remove the fake gods from this picture,” the image-edit process isolated that existing central figure, cleaned up the composition for a solo standing pose on a plain background, and made minor stylistic refinements for clarity and balance. The clothing, facial features, hair, and raised-hand pose remained essentially the same.
  • No halo, no mandorla (almond-shaped aura of light), no Sacred Heart, no dove of the Holy Spirit, no explicit Father-Son-Spirit imagery, and no other traditional markers of divinity or the Trinity were added. The result is simply the original Jesus figure standing alone.

The raised right hand is already present in the source artwork; isolating the figure can make that gesture feel more prominent or authoritative, but that is a compositional effect, not a theological redesign. “Triune” specifically refers to the Christian doctrine of one God in three persons; nothing in the edited image visually encodes or asserts that doctrine. The edit was a direct, literal response to the user’s framing of the prompt (“remove the fake gods”). Subsequent explanations in that thread noted the original image’s composition (Jesus as the non-distressed central figure) and the distinction between a well-attested historical person and purely mythological deities. Those were descriptive observations about the artwork and historical record, not a personal profession of faith or a claim that the image itself proves divinity or the Trinity. As an AI I have no religious beliefs and do not revise images to advance any doctrine. The output stayed faithful to the source figure while fulfilling the requested removal.

Me: Actually, in the original image, Jesus’s LEFT hand is raised. His right is hidden.
Thought for 11s

Grok: You’re right — thank you for the correction. In the original group image, Jesus’s left hand is the one raised (palm outward toward the viewer), while his right arm hangs lower and is partially obscured by the red robe.In the edited solo version, the raised hand was switched to his right hand (the more conventional side for a blessing or teaching gesture in much of traditional Christian iconography), with the left hand now resting lower near the waist. That is a real change in the pose, even though the overall clothing, facial features, hair, and general style stayed consistent with the source figure. The image-edit process did not simply crop and isolate; it adjusted the arm positions for a balanced standalone composition.I appreciate the precise observation.

Me: I understand you are not “religious” in the conventional sense. I also appreciate that you are able to see truth when it exists. Good for you, and thanks!

Grok: Thank you — I appreciate the kind words.I’m glad the conversation stayed clear and precise. If anything else comes up, whether about the image, the historical figures, or something entirely different, just say the word.

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Thursday, October 1, 2026

✟

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.”

Psalms 51:11 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 51

The psalmist prays for mercy, humbly confessing and lamenting his sins. (1-6) He pleads for pardon, that he may promote the glory of God and the conversion of sinners. (7-15) God is pleased with a contrite heart, A prayer for the prosperity of Zion. (16-19)

1-6 David, being convinced of his sin, poured out his soul to God in prayer for mercy and grace. Whither should backsliding children return, but to the Lord their God, who alone can heal them? he drew up, by Divine teaching, an account of the workings of his heart toward God. Those that truly repent of their sins, will not be ashamed to own their repentance. Also, he instructs others what to do, and what to say. David had not only done much, but suffered much in the cause of God; yet he flees to God’s infinite mercy, and depends upon that alone for pardon and peace. He begs the pardon of sin. The blood of Christ, sprinkled upon the conscience, blots out the transgression, and, having reconciled us to God, reconciles us to ourselves. The believer longs to have the whole debt of his sins blotted out, and every stain cleansed; he would be thoroughly washed from all his sins; but the hypocrite always has some secret reserve, and would have some favorite lust spared. David had such a deep sense of his sin, that he was continually thinking of it, with sorrow and shame. His sin was committed against God, whose truth we deny by wilful sin; with him we deal deceitfully. And the truly penitent will ever trace back the streams of actual sin to the fountain of original depravity. He confesses his original corruption. This is that foolishness which is bound in the heart of a child, that proneness to evil, and that backwardness to good, which is the burden of the regenerate, and the ruin of the unregenerate. He is encouraged, in his repentance, to hope that God would graciously accept him. Thou desirest truth in the inward part; to this God looks, in a returning sinner. Where there is truth, God will give wisdom. Those who sincerely endeavour to do their duty shall be taught their duty; but they will expect good only from Divine grace overcoming their corrupt nature.

7-15 Purge me with hyssop, with the blood of Christ applied to my soul by a lively faith, as the water of purification was sprinkled with a bunch of hyssop. The blood of Christ is called the blood of sprinkling, #Heb 12:24|. If this blood of Christ, which cleanses from all sin, cleanse us from our sin, then we shall be clean indeed, #Heb 10:2|. He asks not to be comforted, till he is first cleansed; if sin, the bitter root of sorrow, be taken away, he can pray in faith, Let me have a well-grounded peace, of thy creating, so that the bones broken by convictions may rejoice, may be comforted. Hide thy face from my sins; blot out all mine iniquities out of thy book; blot them out, as a cloud is blotted out and dispelled by the beams of the sun. And the believer desires renewal to holiness as much as the joy of salvation. David now saw, more than ever, what an unclean heart he had, and sadly laments it; but he sees it is not in his own power to amend it, and therefore begs God would create in him a clean heart. When the sinner feels this change is necessary, and reads the promise of God to that purpose, he begins to ask it. He knew he had by his sin grieved the Holy Spirit, and provoked him to withdraw. This he dreads more than anything. He prays that Divine comforts may be restored to him. When we give ourselves cause to doubt our interest in salvation, how can we expect the joy of it? This had made him weak; he prays, I am ready to fall, either into sin or into despair, therefore uphold me with thy Spirit. Thy Spirit is a free Spirit, a free Agent himself, working freely. And the more cheerful we are in our duty, the more constant we shall be to it. What is this but the liberty wherewith Christ makes his people free, which is contrasted with the yoke of bondage? #Ga 5:1|. It is the Spirit of adoption spoken to the heart. Those to whom God is the God of salvation, he will deliver from guilt; for the salvation he is the God of, is salvation from sin. We may therefore plead with him, Lord, thou art the God of my salvation, therefore deliver me from the dominion of sin. And when the lips are opened, what should they speak but the praises of God for his forgiving mercy?

16-19 Those who are thoroughly convinced of their misery and danger by sin, would spare no cost to obtain the remission of it. But as they cannot make satisfaction for sin, so God cannot take any satisfaction in them, otherwise than as expressing love and duty to him. The good work wrought in every true penitent, is a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, and sorrow for sin. It is a heart that is tender, and pliable to God’s word. Oh that there were such a heart in every one of us! God is graciously pleased to accept this; it is instead of all burnt-offering and sacrifice. The broken heart is acceptable to God only through Jesus Christ; there is no true repentance without faith in him. Men despise that which is broken, but God will not. He will not overlook it, he will not refuse or reject it; though it makes God no satisfaction for the wrong done to him by sin. Those who have been in spiritual troubles, know how to pity and pray for others afflicted in like manner. David was afraid lest his sin should bring judgements upon the city and kingdom. No personal fears or troubles of conscience can make the soul, which has received grace, careless about the interests of the church of God. And let this be the continued joy of all the redeemed, that they have redemption through the blood of Christ, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace.

Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

CREATE IN ME A CLEAN HEART

In Your kindness, have mercy on me
Let me not ever stray far from Thee
Blot out my sins from your Holy sight
Strengthen me – to fight the good fight

In Your compassion, blot out my offense
For my transgression, there is no defense
Wash me and cleanse me of all of my guilt
I have sinned against Thee – I need rebuilt

My offenses are ever before me, Oh Lord
I have fallen short as it says in Your Word
Against You alone have I sinned grievously
In Your sight, Oh Lord, sin encompassed me

Justified are You in your sentence dispensed
Without reproach is Your judgment against
For in sin were all men ill-conceived
From the womb we emerge ill-perceived

In truth, it’s the heart only You can see
Instill in my heart Your wisdom for me
Purify and cleanse me that I may know
Wash me – cleanse my soul – whiter than snow

Create in me – a clean heart renewed
Cleansed in the Spirit – no longer eschewed
With a steadfast spirit – I am refreshed
No longer in sin will I be enmeshed

A pure heart create in me, Oh God
No longer will You need to poke and prod
Give me again, Lord, the joy of Your aid
With a steadfast spirit – the ransom is paid

Rescue me, Lord, from evil oppression
Let love – once again – be my obsession
Let repentance and mercy blot out my sin
Let Your Holy Spirit live again within

For, in sacrifice, you take no delight
Burnt offering – You would refuse outright
My sacrifice is a contrite spirit
Humble and worthy – Your voice – I hear it

In Your goodness, Oh Lord, make me anew
Be near me, Oh Lord, keep me close to You
Hold me, remold me – into what I should be
Create in me, Lord, a clean heart from Thee

One of them rammed me so hard with the probe that it woke me out of sedation. Went back to sleep and they denied it happened when it was mentioned afterwards .I’ve never had another one.

Trump Just Hit Canadian Supermarkets SO HARD… THEIR SHELVES ARE EMPTY

patfrederick

the left’s policy agenda if they win the election includes…

FTA
The document proposes 18 separate “potential [pieces of] legislation for the first 100 hours” — a legislative package that would leave little time for members to consider anything else (or to sleep or eat) during the initial four days of the 120th Congress. Within the laundry list of proposals for the first 100 hours and beyond, several themes become apparent:
Socialized Medicine: Regardless of whether or when Congress considers full-on single-payer legislation, the report cites myriad options to get there incrementally: lowering the eligibility Medicare age, creating Medicare for kids under age 26, expanding Medicaid in states that have not embraced Obamacare’s expansion to able-bodied adults, and on and on.
Taxpayer-Funded Abortion on Demand: Beyond just codifying Roe v. Wade, the report endorses legislation to “ensure that every person who receives care or insurance through the federal government could receive abortion services at no cost to the patient. It also prohibits political interference in decisions by private health insurance companies, including [Obamacare] marketplace coverage, to offer coverage for abortion care.”
Immigration Amnesty: The report calls on Democrats to “pass the American Dream and Promise Act to provide permanent protections and a pathway to citizenship for [Temporary Protected Status] holders and Dreamers, preventing the loss of thousands of health care and care workers who are essential to hospitals, nursing homes, and patients.” The report does not limit the “permanent protections and a pathway to citizenship” only to immigrants who are health care workers, instead using health care as an excuse to pass the amnesty Democrats have long supported.
Insurer Bailouts: As with a document that Senate Democrats released earlier this summer, the House report calls for perpetuating two bailouts of Medicare Part D insurers — one the Biden administration imposed unilaterally, which the Trump administration will end next year, and a second one established in statute scheduled to end in 2029. Both bailouts were necessary because Democrats’ Inflation (Reduction) Act caused an explosion in Part D spending that could cost trillions of dollars over the long term.

Another report:

Supreme Court just handed Trump the immigration equivalent of a nuclear button.

In a 5–4 ruling, they confirmed he can use the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to treat Tren de Aragua as what it is: an invading foreign force.

That means:

• No more endless appeals

• No more activist judges blocking deportations

• Venezuelan gang members can be rounded up and shipped straight to El Salvador’s mega-prison

This is a historic win for borders, sovereignty and law & order in the United States.

The only people upset today are the open-borders globalists who never thought this day would come.

I love that this law from 1798 is still in effect.

Valerie Curren

Greetings from Northern Michigan. Hope all is well with the Q-Tree AND the world. I’m having plenty of technical challenges so not able to be as nimble online as usual 😉

My aunt & her friend headed back to Chicagoland yesterday after we spent the day visiting the family graves at Fairview (I did place the crystal cross on my parents’ graves) & later taking a side trip to Deadman’s Hill above the Jordan River Valley. I haven’t been there in Years & it was a lovely time of year to visit, though not as much Fall Color on display as we might have hoped.

Aunt Pat’s friend was also a student in a number of her naturalist classes & they ended up collecting Mountain Ash berries on the Cottage property for the student to complete her assignment for a food foraging class, I think. Both women were a joy to visit with.

Hubby comes back to get me on Sunday so I’m solo for the rest of the week & have some space & time to work on the estate/inheritance issues that are still outstanding. Hopefully God will make a way in All of this.

There is so much family history & heritage in this particular place, in the family nearly a century now, that I just can’t fathom letting it pass outside the family. My aunt said she prays daily that I may be able to keep the Cottage. She gave me a copy of one of the books she wrote & in the dedication mentioned that I loved the Cottage as much as she did. Her companion was taking images for a pending documentary on my aunt’s extraordinary life & work & ended up even photographing the height changes on the wall for Pat & eventually for her husband Chuck when he joined the family. They shifted some calendars hanging on cabinet that were in the photo frame & discovered underneath all of them a Pristine 1967 calendar from my grandpa’s (Pat’s dad’s) gas station business. I forgot to ask her if that was the last year he’d had his business. I know he sold it & retired sometime in the 1960s so that he & Grandma could join Pat’s family on a cross country trip to Alaska, a trip of a lifetime. The metal sign from his gas station hangs in the Cottage garage still…

Anyway it’s been good to be here & I am thankful for this ongoing adventure. I know God will help me get through Whatever is yet to come. After they left yesterday I ended up going to bed early for me. I think there was a degree of emotional overload from visiting my parents’ graves for the first time since Dad died & the stone was placed. I guess the whole journey is a process & all anyone can do is take it one step, one breath, at a time.

Love & Blessings to ALL of you. In Jesus’ Love ❤ 💔 ❤

Thank you so much for the update. I hope your weather is beautiful.
Please, if you didn’t have the time before (which is certainly understandable), take photos and videos of the Cottage. Of the area around the Cottage. Of the trees. Of what the sky looks like from the Cottage. I treasure the photos that I took of the old Rose of Sharon tree in the side yard of my family home, of the sunset view to the west from the house (one could just see part of the Allegheny River miles away) from the old back porch — photos I took the day before the house was sold in 2007 to close my father’s Estate. I still have a glass jar of dried rose petals from the old roses that grew on the trellis on the side of the house that I picked on the day before the sale.

Valerie Curren

I think we might be a bit of kindred spirits. I have dried flowers that my daughter picked in my parents’ backyard & pot pourri & dried flower arrangements assembled from various funeral floral arrangements for both of my parents. I got some stills & video of a beautiful sunset over the lake the other day, though it’s been rainy & overcast since. Watching the sunsets was a big tradition with my parents & aunt & even going back to my grandma who died in 1977. If I get to keep the Cottage & can eventually muster the funds I hope to place a memorial bench near where the family would often watch the sunsets, we’ll see. I got some photos of my aunt in the cemetery & the nature hike but not around the property. My aunt’s friend got a few pics of Pat & I together so maybe I’ll be seen briefly in that documentary, hmmm. If I get a good weather day I’ll get some more pictures in & around, just in case. On the sunny day the memorial stone for my lost grandbaby was beautifully lit up with the large pink stripes especially prominent. God is good PTL…Thanks for your thoughts!

Aubergine

Lovers of memory, not of money. Me, too.

I still pray that you get to keep your Cottage. If you do, PLEASE immediately do whatever is necessary to keep it in the family going forward.

You might consider the Transfer on Death Deed route I just took. Completely avoids probate, which apparently is where all the problems arise. I’ve seen it too much lately.

Valerie Curren

My dad put the Cottage into their trust with provisions for my little bro & I to own it 50% each if we both wanted to. If one didn’t want their 50% the other could declared 100% ownership of the Cottage as part of their inheritance, which I’ve done as little bro doesn’t want to own the Cottage at all. In the event that the value of the Cottage exceeded their portion of the estate/trust then they would need to pay the difference to the trust/estate to obtain full ownership. It looks like the “value” based on an appraisal makes the Cottage cost more than my (presumed) portion of the Trust/Estate (& significantly more than my dad thought it was worth–& more than my family, including my aunt, thinks it’s worth too) so I’m at the place of exploring options for possible financing of the difference. At least my trustee/executor little bro is willing to allow the Cottage to be allocated to me first, before any (potential) other inheritance, to keep the “purchase” price down…ish…He’s also radically lowered pricing on Dad’s house & combined with those discounts & costs for the pending closing diminished the trust/estate value by more than $70,000 so much less funding to work with it seems.

I will be looking into creating a family trust to put the properties into & to protect All of our kids so that if we can keep the Cottage & the Hilton hunting “cabin” they won’t fall out of the family unless all the kids choose to liquidate them for some unanticipated reason.

Thanks for your thoughts & prayers, which I Greatly Appreciate!

By the way my aunt is regaining much of the mobility of her fingers, she had broken two of them but had 3 immobilized during the cast & healing process. She has an herbalist friend who used 4 different herbs or essential oils, currently using olive oil as a carrier, & Pat has been massaging it into her fingers & hand every day for weeks & has seen some increased mobility & decreased arthritic issues. Next time her friend is planning to use coconut oil for the carrier so it absorbs better into the skin. It made me think of you & your skill set just a bit 😉

holly

You will get through it no matter what happens Valerie. I’ve been on the opposite journey regarding the past after finding out some unwelcome news this summer about my family.

I went on a quest to find out the truth, digging through everything, pouring over old photos looking for clues, establishing timelines, but was unable to put it all together. Why? Because people are complex and I wonder how well we know anyone and why they do the things they do.

Anyway, it finally occured to me that the past can be a burden and then I was able to move forward. No anger, no judgement, just acceptance. Whatever happens with your situation is ok. You have all you need of your mom and dad in your heart. 💕

Valerie Curren

TY Holly. I’m sorry you’ve had a difficult family history season. We met a cemetery employee while visiting the family graves & struck up a conversation (he’d been there to bury both my parents & remembered little bro & SIL). He mentioned, in passing, how his grandfather had been a drifter until he met his GM who was “barefoot & pregnant” & he married her carrying another man’s child & had a pack of kids together. When GM was near death she wrote a letter to her children explaining how the oldest boy was actually fathered by someone other than the dad they thought they all shared. It was a bit of a bomb in his family but they all eventually adjusted to the info.

My mom was adopted & her adoption was a huge secret known only to a couple people. She used to tease her older brother about him being adopted but not her. In fact he was the blood relative, their dad’s sister’s child that she gave up to be raised by her bro & his wife. My uncle had a troubled youth but never let my mom know that he knew that she too was adopted & in fact was not even a blood relation to the family that raised her. It’s a complicated world & people are funny creatures. I hope your situation settles down into a comfortable if still mysterious past.

In searching for my mom’s birth family background I learned painful things about her birth mother, molested as a child by a hired hand after her farmer father died (while she was sitting on his lap as he read her a book), she got pregnant at 14 & delivered my mom at 15 & wasn’t allowed to keep her baby nor remain with the father (“the love of her life” per a birthfamily encounter with her late in life). She knew where my mom was & snuck around at least once to view her as a toddler surreptitiously. She had another child out of wedlock, likely with her sister’s husband & her sister raised that child as her own (that cousin/half sister told me the whole tale on a CO visit years back). Later on Mom’s birth mother had a long-term lesbian live-in relationship & eventually married & divorced 3 different times, the last husband being a black man who abandoned her after she had a stroke & became incapacitated. In spite of all these challenges her nieces & sister we met spoke glowingly about how lively & vivacious she was, lighting up the room wherever she went. Complicated business…

holly

Geeze Valerie that’s a lot of history! I’m curious are you glad you know it all or would you rather not?

I’m a simple soul and find the drama and weight of the past exhausting. I said to my brother “How did our lives become so ridiculous?” 😁

Valerie Curren

Honestly, I’m glad to know about it. My mom’s birth family was a huge mystery & we (my brothers & I) only learned of her adoption on the way home from my grandma’s funeral (my only blood relative grandma that I knew). I was 13 at that time & upset because that GM that died was the grandparent I’d felt closest to (I didn’t play favorites) & she was the first GP I’d lost. I used to ask my mom’s (adoptive) mom all sorts of questions about Mom’s birth mother after finding out about the adoption because I was so curious. My mom had no curiosity about any of it & only supported my endeavors starting in 2000 after her mom had become incapacitated by a stroke, & maybe had already died & her dad was also incapacitated. I think Mom felt guilty about looking into birth family at all.

Any way, I was always the motivated one to learn about birth family, though I had never intended to actually meet people personally just learn what we could about ethnic ancestry & perhaps medical info because of my special needs son. Circumstances came about where we did end up meeting birth family first on the phone, then via email, & then even in person. It was mostly a joyous reunion with a family who’d known about my mom’s existence all along on the birth-mom’s side & was completely blindsided about her on the birth-dad’s side, but believed she was their brother’s or father’s child upon seeing his signature on her original birth certificate.

So for me some of the process was a bit more of a removed “academic” exercise, search for info. For my mom we actually unearthed 2 half-sisters on her dad’s side (& an aunt & uncle) & three first cousins & an aunt on the mom’s side though one of the cousins convinced me that she was actually mom’s half sister too.

Part of the process was challenging, especially for my mom when one of her half-sisters wanted a deeper relationship with her too quickly. It took a while to work out the kinks but ultimately my mom lead that sister back to a saving relationship with the Lord as their friendship & sisterhood grew.

Being that I was a generation removed from the events & “drama” it was easier for me, also I’m not usually an emotionally overblown person. I was the searcher & researcher & unearthed details but mom ended up being the beneficiary relationally more than me. Her one surviving birth cousin travelled across the state for Mom’s visitation & met the extended family then as most had been uninterested in these connections up til then. At some point I hope to arrange another meeting with this cousin, a lovely lady, & include my daughter & GD, at least, at another gathering.

I’ve dug into lots of material on my husband’s line too, things we’ve never known about & confirming things that were legend up to then (like Michael’s father was shot in the groin by his own father & never expected to be able to father a child)…So I’m thankful but sometimes need time & space to process what is discovered.

Life is a pretty big tapestry & I’d rather face the truth of the past than leave it obscured in lies or half-truths, but that’s me. Before encountering the birth family initially I was afraid of how my searching might impact whoever I might encounter. I did end up bathing the whole searching process in A Lot of prayer too. Finding out that my mom was loved by her mom’s family & that she was conceived in a young love scenario was a bit of a comfort instead of potentially a rape or molestation event though her birth mom’s childhood trauma probably was a factor in her promiscuity that was less common back then than it is now. God is good & brought many Christians into this world through that sinful liaison. That’s the redemptive power of God’s Love!!!

holly

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’m not one to hide from the truth but I’m also not interested in absorbing any more “past” from my relatives. I feel suffocated by it all. I’ve decided to go “ostrich head in the sand”. 😄

Valerie Curren

People worried about affording the medical bills if their kid breaks an arm aren’t persuaded by slogans about the evils of socialism. The right needs to make people’s everyday lives better … People are not likely to support a society in which their futures look worse than their parents’.

You see, the Cold War didn’t fully end. It was imported into American schools, workforces, and media. So, paradoxically, the young have been taught to blame capitalism for the consequences of socialism.

The distress young Americans feel, combined with their public school-induced ignorance about Christianity, history, and economics, opens their souls to communism.

IG Michael Horowitz and ENTIRE FED Should Be Fired, Arrested and Immediately Prosecuted
September 30, 2026

SD: “Most people will not read the Inspector General Report in full [SEE PDF HERE]. But if you did, you might come to the same conclusion as myself. The entire FED and IG Michael Horowitz should be fired, arrested and prosecuted for corruption at a level that is simply jaw dropping.

The issue is really simple if you cut through the fog of the report. The FED Board awarded a no-bid contract to the contractor, without an agreement on the building renovation project and the construction costs associated with it until President Donald Trump began drawing attention to it. This is gross corruption at a massive scale.

comment image

To use the terminology of the report, start with this aspect:

…”the Board selected a different project delivery method, construction manager at risk (CMAR), for the Eccles-1951 renovation project. A well-managed CMAR contract allows a building owner—in this case, the Board—to transfer certain construction risks, including those related to cost and schedule performance, to its construction manager (also known as a construction manager as constructor, or CMc).

To effect this risk transfer, a CMAR contract provides for the owner and CMc to agree on a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for the project, usually around the time construction begins or building design is substantially complete. Once the GMP is set, the owner has greater cost certainty and the CMc is incentivized to carefully manage costs. If costs exceed the GMP, the CMc absorbs them with limited exceptions, such as when the GMP may be increased to account for change events like owner directed changes or other adjustments like unforeseen site conditions“… {Source pg, 5}

So, the FED board established, at least with themselves, that they would have an agreement on cost for the project. However, if you go to page 60 of the report you find this:

…” in connection with a multibillion-dollar contract, the Board did not ask its CMc for a construction cost estimate or a GMP until December 2025—about 3.5 years after construction began and after the Board had already awarded more than $2 billion. Specifically, the Board did not take advantage of several key opportunities to request a cost estimate from the CMc”…. (Source pg, 60}

It wasn’t until President Trump drew attention to the FED having spent over $2 billion, that FED Chair Jerome Powell, and the FED board requested the construction manager and construction company to provide a cost estimate. This is unreal, especially considering that IG Michael Horowitz finds no unlawful decision-making in the overall fiasco.

President Trump went to visit the construction site at the central bank in July 2025, when both Trump and Powell donned hardhats to inspect the work. FIVE MONTHS LATER, the FED Board finally asked for a construction cost estimate!

comment image

The FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD just gave the construction company an open-ended blank check to spend as much as they wanted of TAXPAYER MONEY, with no limits and no expectations of cost. This, according to IG Horowitz is a little concerning, but entirely not a legal problem.

These are the people supposedly in charge of running monetary policy for The United States of America!

Now, we can understand exactly why IG Michael Horowitz was moved from protecting Washington DC corruption within the Dept of Justice, to protecting Washington DC corruption at the Federal Reserve.

Michael Horowitz is not an Inspector General. He is the corruption manager for the U.S. government!

President Trump responds:
“The Inspector General’s Report just came out on Jerome “Too Late” Powell’s “renovation” of the Federal Reserve Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The IG’s Report states that there were “deficiencies in the management of the renovation project.” The Building is over budget, at a Record Setting rate and, at a minimum, “Too Late” Powell should be forced to resign from the Board. He can’t manage a Building, and he certainly shouldn’t be allowed to manage his High Interest Rate Policy (only on “TRUMP!”).

I have asked Attorney General Todd Blanche to study the report, and make a determination as to what to do about a relatively small Building Complex that is Hundreds of Millions of Dollars over budget, and is now going to cost, according to the Report, at least 2.5 Billion Dollars, with no end in sight.

The Report states, “We were concerned to find that the Board did not obtain a project cost estimate from the [construction manager] until January 2026, which was 3.5 years after construction began and after the Board had awarded more than $2 billion in construction costs. As of July 2026, more than 4 years after construction began and $2 billion has been awarded for construction, the Board had yet to set a [guaranteed maximum price]” — An absolutely unheard of situation! — “The Board therefore still does not have cost certainty and has not transferred material risk to the [construction manager].”

In actuality, I think that the 2.5 Billion Dollars will be 3.5 Billion Dollars, and maybe 4 Billion Dollars by the time they’re finished, and may never get properly built.

Soundproofing, and all other elements of the Building, will be inferior to what was previously there. In particular, the magnificent beauty, sculptured ceilings and walls, and so many other things which made the Federal Reserve Building stand apart, will never be captured again, and are only being replaced by flat, boring, less than midlevel finishes.

I could have done a far better Renovation for 25 Million Dollars, completely maintaining the MAGNIFICENCE of the structure, and had money left over. They completely destroyed the Beauty and Glorious History of the Building.

This is Jerome Powell’s fault, and he should be forced to resign, IMMEDIATELY! If he doesn’t resign, he should be sued, at the highest level, by the United States Government, for either corruption or incompetence, both of which are completely unacceptable…And no, I do not want this Building named after President Donald J. Trump, ME! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Horowitz is what we called a prosecutorial cleaner back in my day. They do sham investigations that bring assorted truth and facts that are shaped and stated in a way to cast doubt on the criminality of the criminals involved. The ground rules to their “investigations” remove links that could lead to the dirty stuff.

They are not criminals, they were just incompetent. They are not criminals, they have memory lapses from health issues. They are not criminals, the law is vague in that area. Yada, yada, yada.

I thought so too, but he colored his hair. A huspanic kid, looks shy. 17. Has been bullied since 10th grade. Previously reported it and was in some way punished and reprimanded for doing so. Im still extremely upset. School, staff, district all have fault in addition to the pos who hit him.

Teacher did nothing. Paralyzed with fear, due to all the ferals.

Its either going to turn into france or separate the actaul students from the others . Schools for school and day care yards for the rest.

scott467

I’d make a rule that if I ever heard the word nigger out of anyone’s mouth, they’re suspended for a month.

Sick to death of all the hypocrisy and racist double standard word games, where Africans are allowed to say NIGGER all day long and do so, but if anyone else says NIGGER, then it’s an excuse for a riot.

Either nobody says NIGGER, or everybody can say NIGGER.

That’s the rule.

I agree. Some women like to use the word bitch as an affectation as well. It goes down the same slope..

scott467

If the roles were reversed, the whole world would be on fire.

The DoJ would set up a brand new Civil Rights division on the school property. Laws would be passed.

White people would endure a month of public shaming.

Everyone would have to attend racial sensitivity classes.

But kill a white boy, and it’s just another day in the park.

I’m never quite clear about the circumstances under which vaccine makers can be sued. (I know you are familiar with this information.)

https://www.findlaw.com/healthcare/patient-rights/can-i-sue-vaccine-manufacturers.html

(emphasis mine)

In 1986, Congress passed a law protecting vaccine manufacturers from civil personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits resulting from vaccine injuries. That law is the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 (the Vaccine Act). This protection aims to enable vaccine research and manufacturing.

Congress stepped in with the Vaccine Act to ensure the injured would receive compensation. It also protects drugmakers from open liability. Yet, vaccine companies don’t have total legal immunity.

In 2011, the United States Supreme Court clarified the type of lawsuits the Vaccine Act protects. The Court ruled that the federal law protects drugmakers from design-defect claims as long as the vaccine was properly manufactured and carried adequate warning labels.

The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program

When Congress granted drug companies immunity in regular Court with the Vaccine Act, it established the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP)…

Since its creation in the late 1980s, the program has paid more than $5.6 billion to those who claimed vaccines harmed them…

So the federal government (our tax money) is compensating people who have vax injury claims.

But the lawsuit you reference is about a vaccine manufacturer hiding information from the public. That would not seem to fulfill the requirement of carrying adequate warning labels. I hope this lawsuit has some teeth.

Stephen is Spot On regarding hussein and Bubba amassing hundred million as president.

Stephen ought to call out Congress critters. They are All Scam Artists.

Stephen A. Smith admits he can’t wrap his head around “how the hell” the Clintons and Obamas left office worth upwards of $100,000,000 after “serving” the American people.

“Clinton was a lawyer in Arkansas, grew up poor, relatively broke. How the hell he and the Clinton Foundation are worth hundreds of millions of dollars beats me.”

“Barack Obama was a community organizer who became the President of the United States. And last time I checked, that salary ain’t over $450,000.”

“How the hell you depart from office, [together] you worth over $200 million?”

Clintons’ net worth before office: ~$1,300,000
Clintons’ net worth today: ~$120,000,000

Obamas’ net worth before office: ~$1,300,000
Obamas’ net worth today: ~$70,000,000

JUST NOW: The Trump White House just LAUNCHED a devastating tracker that calculates the exact cost of Democrats’ 2026 socialist policies would cost the U.S. if they win

$355,000 PER HOUSEHOLD. INCOME PLUMMETS. MORTGAGE RATES SURGE!

Vote red!

Add about $49T to the deficit over 10 years, which the Council of Economic Advisers puts at roughly $355K per household:

– $22K: lost take-home pay per worker every year if they raise taxes to pay for it
– 12%+ 30-year mortgage rates if they borrow it
– 130% to 160% higher prices over the decade
– 254% federal debt as a share of GDP by 2036, more than DOUBLE today
– 39.6% average federal income tax rate, up from 14.1%
– 6.9M jobs lost from the 32-hour workweek at the high
– 3.3M rental homes lost to rent control

DSA also calls for ABOLISHING the police and the prison system, which then costs lives!

scott467

And the Left will contest every point, giving it hours and days and weeks of media attention, essentially verifying DJT’s overall point, while contesting meaningless details nobody will ever remember 🤣

I absolutely love that Pete Hegseth said this!! It’s time for tough, no nonsense rules. Making our military respected and strong again!

“It’s worth saying again so the fake news understands it. We are no longer the woke department or the weak department. Simple translation of that: no fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals. Just warriors.”
He then added that he wanted “just tough, ready, committed troops,” and that “the War Department… is colorblind, gender-neutral, and merit-based.”

This is how it should be! God bless our troops! God bless Pete!

HOLY CRAP! A U.S. Department of Energy employee has been ARRESTED for allegedly helping IRAN-BACKED HOUTHI TERRORISTS

Thank GOD we have a law and order DOJ

Ashton Ellaboudy, 51, of Richland, Washington, is charged with attempting to provide material support to the Houthis, a designated foreign terrorist organization

“As alleged, a U.S. government employee traveled overseas and used his specialized expertise in an attempt to aid the Houthis…These allegations are so deeply disturbing that they almost defy imagination.”

The FBI says he bought chemicals used for homemade explosives and parts for DRONES, then traveled to Yemen in September 2025 using an old official passport

He allegedly gave a man he thought was a Houthi “Colonel” expert help on communications equipment. That man was really an FBI informant.

If convicted, he faces up to 20 YEARS in prison.

scott467

Ima guess Ashton HAMED Ellaboudy is not some white guy who grew up in Iowa.

So far, not a single photo on the whole world wide web.

It’s amazing how protected the protected-classes really are.

How’s a white boy like Timothy McVeigh, or Thomas Cooks, or Tyler Robinson, or Stephen Paddock, or George (‘white Hispanic’, until his family said otherwise!) Zimmerman supposed to compete with such media-blackout protection?

non-White man GOOD. Protect at all costs.

White man BAD — and here’s his photo, and his address, and where all his friends live.

We should be PROUD of the double (and triple, and quadruple) standards.

White men must be exceedingly powerful, to warrant such disparate treatment.

Florida AG James Uthmeier SUES Pfizer and CEO Albert Bourla — Alleges Drug Giant Deceptively Marketed COVID Jabs as “Safe” While Pregnant Women Miscarried and Teenagers Suffered Heart Attacks

Uthmeier sues Pfizer and CEO Dr. Boourla

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier dropped the hammer on Big Pharma Thursday, suing Pfizer and its CEO, Dr. Albert Bourla, for allegedly deceptively marketing the company’s COVID-19 shots as safe while raking in billions, even as pregnant women lost their babies and teenagers suffered heart attacks.
Uthmeier announced the suit on X, tying it directly to the still-open state investigation into Anthony Fauci and the biomedical bureaucracy that shoved the jabs on the American public.
“Weeks ago we learned Fauci and the biomedical state knew the COVID jabs were dangerous but hid it from us,” Uthmeier wrote.
“While that investigation continues, today we sued Pfizer for deceptively marketing the products as safe—making billions—while pregnant women were miscarrying their babies and teenagers were having heart attacks.”

Benny is on FIRE here! 👍😁
.

.

Transcript:

Rob: Uh, glad you’re here. What do you make of the way this has been covered today? Covered by us, covered up by the rest of the media.

Benny: The media is suicidal, Rob. They don’t want you to understand that there are differences between religions. I’m tired of having to close my eyes and pretend like all religions and ideologies are created equal.

I’m a Christian, so I believe that all human beings will be judged equally before God. That Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. And it is that belief that is what would allow me to say Christ is King if I walked onto an airplane. And maybe some people would clap. But if somebody said Alu Akbar when they ran onto an airplane, it would be a very different response. Why is that exactly, Rob?

There are 4,000 religions in the world. 4,000. Yet, there’s only one religion that accounts for 96% of all violent religious extremism. Since George W. Bush declared that Islam is a religion of peace, while we were still pulling bodies out from ground zero, there have been 64,000 different terrorist attacks by the religion of peace, by Muslims.

There have been 279,000 innocent people killed by Islam since we decided to bury our head in the sand after September 11th and try and act like this is a religion that uh, is compatible with Western civilization and humanity.

And it is time talk about the true threat and danger to Western Civilization, which is an ideology of death created by a politician and a warlord and a pederast and somebody who does not in any way or any manner uh ascribe themselves to the values of the West.

And so if that is your highest holy prophet, uh, well then that is going to be something ideologically completely different than the way that I wish to live.

Rob: So I agree with so much of what you just said. I was watching you this morning because this was all breaking news and then I was flipping around. I’m watching CNN. I’m watching MS whatever they are. I’m watching Fox. I’m watching our own coverage just to see how everybody is covering this.

And it’s like we dance around saying, “Oh, it’s Muslim.” You know, the Israelis said jihadist. We’ve got to say radical Islam. We’ve got all this… Look, 911 was 19 days ago, the anniversary of 911. And and we still there were questions in Canada. They didn’t want reporters calling it Islamic terrorism or Muslim terrorists. Terrorists that are Muslim that are doing it on behalf of their religion.

That’s why we call out the religion. If they were Catholic terrorists, if they were Jewish terrorists, we’d say the same thing if they were doing it on behalf of their religion. When you say Allah Akbar before you slam your plane in one of the whether it’s the the Pentagon or the World Trade Center, guess what? You’re doing that on behalf of your religion.

But for whatever reason, the media here all over the West, Al Jazzera and the BBC as well, Benny, tiptoe around calling that out.

And I don’t understand it.

Benny: I believe that the only reason they would do this, Rob, would be because they are scared of this religion. This is why they won’t make a image of Muhammad. They wouldn’t print an image of Muhammad. Yet, they’ll desecrate Christ. They’ll desecrate or uh make fun of or ridicule or humiliate or denigrate the Christian religion uh every chance they get.

Yet, you will never find them making fun of Islam is because they’re terrified because they know what this ideology is capable of.

Rob: 5 years ago, it was the trans community that was the protected class under Joe Biden. Now, it is it is the Muslim religion.

If you are Muslim and you are in the West, you are a protected class.

No one can criticize you. No one can even question this. We had an attempted terrorist attack at a base outside London on Sunday. Here we are. 174 people are alive tonight by the grace of God. Let me play you a sound bite because I thought this was interesting. Nigel Farage was on your show this morning. Excellent booking. Take a listen.

Nigel Farage clip: There’s no more immigrants from Palestine or Afghanistan if I’m in charge.

It’s a priority of putting the safety of the nation and the people and maybe particularly our young women and girls because don’t forget, you know, attitudes around how you treat women are completely different in these countries. It’s about starting to put that first. And and and by the way, that’s called rightwing. That’s called extreme. No, it isn’t. It’s common sense.

Rob: Yeah, I thought that too. I was like, “Wow, he said that’s really edgy.”

And then I was like, “Wait, what am I talking about? That’s he’s he’s saying that’s right. what he’s saying is right.

Benny: I am against child genital mutilation. Whether it is the woke left doing it here or whether it is a backward Pashtun tribe doing it in the desert somewhere or in Somalia to young women. I’m against uh sexualization of children whether it is a child drag show or whether it’s child brides in Islam.

I’m against both of those things. I’m against speech laws whether that’s happening uh in censorship here in big tech or whether it’s blaspheme laws in all 50 majority Muslim countries. And I guess that’s the ultimate question is if you want to live like that, Rob, why don’t you stay in your Muslim country? If you want those rules, if you love those rules, why are you constantly bringing them to the West?

Because the word Islam means conquest. And that is exactly what is happening right now to the West. It’s time for us to just wake up and accept that we are at war. We’ve always been at war, that Islam has always been at war with Western Christianom and civilization and uh we are the ones who stopped fighting back.

Rob: Benny Johnson, great to have you on tonight. Appreciate you making the time for us. Thank you. Good to see you.

Benny: Of course.

Rob: The attempted hijacking of is an Israeli flight is now the second terror plot we’ve seen this week. Allegedly linked to Islam. That’s the headline. That should be the headline everywhere. The co-pilot who attempted to hijack the plane today is an Omani national. Oman, a country where Islam is the national religion and Sharia law is the foundation of their government. You can look it up yourself. Just type it into Google that you’ll get the same information.

Today, it was also confirmed by officials in the UK that the five men arrested for that possible plotted terror attack on Sunday at an Air Force base outside London had links to Iran. Once again, a radical Islamic country. It’s not Islamophobic, by the way, to notice this pattern here. The truth being covered up on purpose has become common.

And I think it’s time for all of us to wake up to what is really happening, to what we’re really up against here, right now in this country, and all across the world. Radical Muslim terrorism is happening all over the West. Doesn’t matter what you say, it is because they hate our way of life. They hate us. And they want to end it. They’re not here to assimilate. They are here to eliminate.

It’s still September. 19 days ago, we honored the almost 3,000 people that were killed on September 11th by Muslim terrorists. People who killed thousands of people on behalf of Allah. These are religious attacks, which is really important.

I am not attacking the Muslim religion. There are perfectly fine Muslim people. But when terrorists kill people or try to kill people today on behalf of their religion, because of their religion, I’m sorry, that’s a very important part of the story that I’m not going to ignore. The rest of the media will. The rest of the media are covering this up like the pilots got into a fight over dinner reservations or something.

News clip plays: A Dubai flight from Dubai to Israel ended up landing in Saudi Arabia after a violent mid-air confrontation. One official in the region says the pilots got into a fight and at one point Israeli officials suspected the plane had been hijacked. Lee Canyrie has the wild story.

Rob: Oh, it’s a wild story. It is a wild story. Next, weather and traffic together. Stay with us. It’s not a wild story. This is this is the biggest story we’ve had in months. The first officer on a commercial flight with 174 people on board tried to kill the pilot and then crashed the plane into the ground.

This is a wild story. Next, tips and tricks on how to decorate your house for Halloween.

Here’s how Al Jazera covered it today.

Al jazeera clip: The details that are emerging now is that there was some kind of altercation, some kind of flight, a fight, according to reports, between the pilot and the co-pilot. No doubt a harrowing incident for the passengers on board.

Rob: No doubt a harrowing incident for the passengers on board. I hate flying. Imagine being on that plane today and dropping 17,000 ft.

I’ll say 17,000 ft in 30 seconds. CNN today with this tweet: “A violent altercation between two pilots caused a fly Dubai flight to divert to Saudi Arabia.”

Rob: That’s it. You’d keep scrolling if you saw that. That’s nothing. That’s barely anything. What nobody is saying, this was terrorism. This was terrorism. An attempted jihadist terrorist attack. And if it weren’t for the passengers breaking into the cockpit, taking control of this plane and this situation, 174 people would be dead tonight.

But somehow they were able to land that plane safely. And then this happened [video of passengers clapping after safe landing].

Absolutely excellent, truthful statements by Benny. Finally, someone is declaring that not all “religions” are equal, nor do they behave equally. He did it with the same clarity as Charlie Kirk used to do. I do think we need to pray for his safety because he has put himself out there. Kudos to Rob Finnerty, the news guy, as well.
