His Fraudulency continues to infest the White House, we haven’t heard much from the person who should have been declared the victor, and hopium is still being dispensed even as our military appears to have joined the political establishment in knuckling under to the fraud.

I saw none of it, but the consensus seems to be that they kicked some ass, at least as far as rebutting the prosecution’s case is concerned. The Great Fraud was unaddressed and of course some are complaining about that.
I guess we’ll be discussing that today.

Speaking of chilling, this cold snap is heinous. Even down here in Texas we are looking at temps to drop to almost zero in some places.
Time for a Toddy. A Hot Toddy.
Yes, our drink special today is designed to ward off the chill and the chills. Now, the Hot Toddy has a murky history in the mists of time, involving India and the British Isles, particularly Scotland, where the Hot Toddy has a storied place of honor. According to Vinepair,
“The toddy as we know it started in British-controlled India. In the 1610s, dictionary.com notes, the Hindi word “taddy” meant “beverage made from fermented palm sap.” By 1786, taddy was officially written down and defined as “beverage made of alcoholic liquor with hot water, sugar, and spices.”
Not to leave the Irish out of the mix, there is also a story that the Hot Toddy began with an Irish doctor:
“The other origin story tells the tale of an Irish doctor named Robert Bentley Todd, who ordered his patients to drink hot brandy, cinnamon, and sugar water. Most likely, the truth is a combination of the two stories, where doctors heard about the hot toddies from India and started incorporating them into prescriptions.”
Whatever its origin, the Hot Toddy has been a staple in cold winter places for centuries. It was even prescribed for children who came down with winter colds. I daresay it may even help relieve (if temporarily) the symptoms of the covid, though it cannot be said to free us of the false and politicized science behind it!
There are many recipes, some including tea, exotic spices and so on. Here’s one to ward off the winter. Language alert, but the guy is fun. As you will see explained in the video, the original recipe for a Hot Toddy was basically some hot water, some scotch (or bourbon or rum) and sugar. Let’s just say, the version below sounds delicious and medicinal at the same time.
And for our teetotalers, this recipe sounds wonderful with some good tea in place of the booze. Please join us and help the bouncers keep us in line.
Now that we are all huddled around the fireplace cupping a Hot Toddy in our cold hands, we must remember to keep things polite and civil. In this, the Dark Winter of Our Discontent, we have to hold the line on what it means to maintain our dignity and integrity in these times.

Speaking of elites, I happened to pick up (for $1.99 at the local Dirt Cheap) a memoir by none other than Arch Villain Sen. Mitch McConnell. Published in 2016, it is terribly revealing from our vantage point in 2021. In his memoir McConnell tells us he never wanted the presidency. From early on his ambition was the Senate. From the intro to “The Long Game” by McConnell:
“Over the three decades I have been a US senator, I’ve been the subject of many profiles. I usually play the villain, according to the standard good guy/bad guy accounts favored by most Washington reporters. The more positive ones tend to focus on my ability to broker deals with supposed adversaries, keep my head when others don’t, and win elections I’m not supposed to.”
He set out to be a politician from the time he ran for (and won) the position of school president in high school. He goes on:
“…the place I feel most at ease is the Senate, an institution that rewards patience and confounds those who lack it…But when the Senate is allowed to work the way it was designed to—meaning a place where nothing is decided without a good dose of deliberation and debate, as well as input from both the majority and minority parties—it arrives at a result that is acceptable to people all along the political spectrum.”
You can see his self-deception here. What results over the last decade have been “acceptable to people all along the political spectrum” I ask you? Of what results does he speak?
Watching the CIRCUS in the Senate yesterday gives the lie to McConnell’s smooth bluster. Is the great Sen. McConnell single-handedly going to save the republic by his moderation and compromise?
McConnell plays the great southern gentleman politician here. This is his starring role. He mentions a hero of his, Kentucky Senator Henry Clay, known as the Great Compromiser. He actually studied Clay for his honors thesis.
“Learning about Clay, seeing what he was able to accomplish from his place in the US Senate, was the first time I began to feel the stirrings of hope that I might, in my very wildest dreams, follow in Clay’s footsteps and serve as a US senator myself.”
At least McConnell learned enough from Clay to not desire the presidency. Clay seemed to have run for the presidency an embarrassing amount of times, and never won. Clay was also a Whig, a reluctant slave owner (long after Washington and Jefferson), against the annexation of Texas, advocated for a national bank, and tried but failed to avert the Civil War through his ability to negotiate compromises.
You can’t make this stuff up.
McConnell also reveals that though he was a Barry Goldwater fan, he voted for Lyndon Baines Johnson because Goldwater had an ideological rigidity (he voted against the civil rights bill) that bothered him. Naturally, McConnell couches his decision back then in today’s politically correct terms of civil rights, and the Voting Rights Act and so on.
Apparently, this is to show his intellectual and socially-minded independence. He was right when the Right was Wrong, doncha know.
What is McConnell’s view of an elected representative’s responsibilities toward his constituents? McConnell mentions Edmund Burke.
“A British parliamentarian at the time of the American Revolution, Burke envisioned that people would elect representatives who would follow their own best judgment. This was, of course, well before the day of public-opinion polls, but many elected officials still felt compelled to pander to the popular view.”
Stunning.
He goes on to quote Burke:
“Your representative owes you not his industry only, but his judgment; and he betrays, instead of serving you, if he sacrifices it to your opinion.”
IOW, ‘You stupid people, you elect me (who runs on the promise to implement your agenda) and then I do what I think is best.’
Folks, this is not representation.
It gets worse. McConnell talks about a former Kentucky senator (John Sherman Cooper) who he worked for early on in his career, one who practiced the kind of politics that McConnell is justifying. Cooper was apparently unflappable when it came to standing up to his constituents. McConnell says,
“…it helped me to see that the best kind of representative—and a true leader—is one who doesn’t take a poll on every issue, or weigh the mail to determine how to vote. There are some matters of concern where constituents are right and others where the best representative does what he or she thinks ought to be done. If a constituent doesn’t agree with you, you can hope they at least like that you have conviction. If not, they can always vote you out.”
Except we can’t vote you OUT, Sen. McConnell. And now we know we can’t vote IN those we want, either.
You see the SYSTEM? It’s a Club and you aren’t in it. And the Club is hell bent on staying in power and depriving We the People of our power as enumerated in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Eventually, McConnell runs for Jefferson County judge (you see how important local elected positions are) as a springboard to running for national office.
And let me tell ya, McConnell runs like your garden variety politician. He’s going to clean up the county. He’s going to fix things. He’s going to get rid of the bureaucratic lock and get things moving. He’s a real hustler. He’s at industrial parks early in the morning shaking hands and promising to FIX THINGS.
He gets elected, beating the incumbent. Read what he says he does after being sworn in as county judge:
“After being sworn in as county judge, there were two things I did immediately: buy my first pair of Brooks Brothers shoes, just like the kind Senator Cooper had worn, and with no intention of hiding my statewide ambitions, begin to look for ways to become better known throughout Kentucky.”
McConnell runs for reelection in 1981 and wins. He writes:
“I immediately began to lay the groundwork for a run for the Senate.”
And then he gets divorced from the mother of his three children. It was amicable, though. So that’s good, eh?
Okay, that’s enough for today. I’m on Chapter Five. I know it is only going to get worse.
Senator Mitch McConnell, for all your talk of moderation, of compromise, of senatorial splendor, you are nothing but an ambitious, power hungry, double-dealing POS in Brooks Brothers shoes. You don’t represent Kentucky. You don’t represent anyone or anything but your own sick ambitions.
You are a snake. You are exactly the opposite of what you represent yourself to be. You aren’t a conservative. You are whatever best serves your interests. You betrayed the American People and your President, Donald J. Trump. You represent nothing but the desire for power.
Three decades in the Senate and how have you improved government? Instead, ambition consumed you before you ever made a run for public office. Like some disgusting Gollum, you executed your machinations against the interests of those who entrusted to you their sacred vote. You and China Joe…birds of a feather…
You became fabulously wealthy “serving” as a senator in the United States Congress. You served us up and then served yourself.
Sen. McConnell embodies the Club.
Congress is filled with his ilk. The hysterical and frankly embarrassing Senate trial against our great President Trump (and he is our duly elected president) is helping to expose the deeply immoral state of our elected representatives and how they sell us down the river in service to moneyed interests, foreign powers, and a globalist agenda.

5 th Ordinary Sunday February 7, 2021 “A Witness in Suffering”
Job 7:1…7 1 Corinthians 9:16…23 Mark 1:29-39
My Brothers and Sisters in the Lord –
Most people aren’t adults very long before they are confronted with some of the great hardships of life for themselves or for their loved ones. A life-altering accident, a serious disease like cancer, the untimely death of a parent or child, chronic pain, a disability, the loss of a business or income, estrangement from a family member – any of these things – can bring pain, anxiety, sleepless nights, and an overwhelming sense of hopelessness.
Some become depressed. Some will turn to alcohol or prescription drugs – especially if they live with chronic pain. Some will turn to others for support or therapy. And, sadly, some will even take their own life!
However, those who are able to cope best of all, are those who turn to God. Moreover, if and when they turn to God, they begin to understand that suffering is part of the “great panorama of life” – and this panorama always has elements of mystery within it!
Job, of the Old Testament reading, certainly understood suffering. He had lost all of his children, all of his great wealth, his physical health, and the sense of God’s presence. He also incurred the disdain of his wife and his friends. At one point, his wife even urged him “to curse God and die”!
So, today, Job states that all of life is a drudgery. We are like hired servants or even slaves! There is no escape – and even sleep will not come when the pain and the anxiety are incessant! However, Job did not curse God; but he questioned God, nevertheless. And God gave him no answers! Suffering is a mystery for the innocent victim. It can also be a test. Suffering, if accepted, can bring peace and hope for a future that would take place only with the coming of Jesus – and Job’s ultimate restoration symbolizes that!
In the Gospel of Mark, God reveals through Jesus that there is more to life than our experience here. There is more to pain and suffering than the death that our life here inevitably brings. Every cure that Jesus worked, every possession he eliminated – was a sign that the Reign of God had begun.
The Kingdom of God, in its heavenly fullness, awaited all those who accepted Jesus and his teaching, kept his commandments, and lived as faithful disciples during their time here.
In the great parable of the Book of Job, Job eventually recovered more than all he had lost. However, it was only in his own lifetime, because the scripture writer had no knowledge of a blessed and eternal afterlife.
Nevertheless, Jesus was no parable. He was the real thing! Furthermore, the fullness of life in the kingdom he promised was true. It was a reality that was proved when Jesus rose from the dead!
Other than those in ministry, most disciples preach the Gospel through the witness of their lives. However, today, St. Paul tells us that we can do this willingly or grudgingly.
Yet, there is no escape from the obligation that every Christian has to be an example of how to live the Gospel. We are to be a blessing for everyone whom we meet, as well as for those with whom we live and associate.
No one has an easy life. Even the extremely wealthy and those with robust health are not exempt from suffering and eventual death. Moreover, the greatest suffering in this life is to feel bereft of God. It is to have no belief in God or hope for an eternal life beyond our life here.
Consequently, in every case, we are to meet people where they are. We must relate to all people as Jesus did – and Paul, after him. Thus, we can bring compassion to those who suffer – We can bring forgiveness to those who have sinned – We can bring true mercy to those who are poor and deprived of material necessities – We can bring hope and emotional support to those who are in the throes of hopelessness and despair. And we can open up the possibility that there is something more for those who refuse to believe.
Brothers and Sisters, the life of a Christian disciple is a challenging one because it opens us to everyone in the world in a different way. It can be achieved only through prayer and the presence of God. Jesus, himself, had to draw apart to be alone with his Father at frequent intervals. And so, let us pray that we learn to make time alone with our Divine Father every day of our lives!

I showed the video this was taken from to a LEO of my acquaintance, and he nearly exploded in rage. Not at the person being sprayed, but at the cop doing the spraying.
He’s spraying the guy for a verbal confrontation. And he’s spraying him in a place where he could have fallen over the edge, in which case his non-lethal spray could have become deadly force.

I say this holding my nose, but one way to serve our cause is to get involved in the local Republican organization in your community, if only for reconnaissance. Getting involved gets you information that you can’t get if you are on the outside of the SYSTEM. And the local and state organizations are the SYSTEM up close and personal.
Who wants a cocktail before we go further? Honest to God, thinking about attending local political party meetings makes me thirsty as hell. Today’s special is the SINGAPORE SLING. A lovely and potent concoction of gin, cherry brandy, Cointreau, Benedictine, grenadine, pineapple juice and lime juice. According to legend, the Singapore Sling was invented at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore in 1915 by the bartender. It was supposed to be a drink that ladies could sip at the hotel and not bring scandal upon themselves. Uh, I bet a lot of scandal was happening. Just saying. A little history here and a video here:

I don’t know about you, but my nature is not one of deception. But I can and do attend local meetings. I know the local officials. I know who you have to apply to if you want to run for office. I know who has a line to the state capitol. I know who works and who pretends to work. I know who puts on a good show, and who is really committed to serving our community.
Unfortunately, my community is not well served. It’s a CLUB. It’s the SYSTEM. They talk a good game, but they are as committed to keeping their power as Mitch McConnell or Liz Cheney. And they are also China tools without even knowing it. They haven’t a clue.

How is the MAGA Army to move if we don’t have MAGA people in every locale learning the ropes, soaking up information, methods, and contacts? I know there are MAGA people in my locale. They stay quiet, though. They are the ones who are volunteering right now, not the ones in office. It is important to know who is MAGA and who isn’t.

Right now, MAGA is small in numbers in the SYSTEM. That’s why it is up to us in our own communities to step up. The least you can do is spy. I had occasion to listen to an elected county official the other evening. After a number of jokes (used to disarm an unusually large group) he spoke on every subject except the one he was supposed to speak about, and which everyone had come out to hear him speak.
When reminded about it by an audience member he spouted off for a moment and then was conveniently cut off by the facilitator who apologized for cutting the talk short, but it was late and all, doncha know. This is how the SYSTEM works. The CLUB protects their own. They have each other’s backs even if they hate each other.

I don’t believe that humility is just a nice characteristic to see in someone, but it is an essential characteristic if we want to declare ourselves Christians . . . followers and emulators of Jesus.
Philippians 2:3-4 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Philippians is one of the warmest and friendliest of Paul’s letters in the Bible. The church in Philippi seems to have been quite healthy and a source of joy for Paul. But it was not perfect. No church is. As we read along in Philippians, we see hints and whispers that Paul knows a few unhappy and unhealthy things about this congregation. There are some cracks in their unity, some struggles with pride.
In Philippians 2, Paul begins to address this. And he lays it on pretty thick. “If you are even remotely Christian,” Paul says, in effect, “then make me even more joyful by embracing humility.”
Many theologians teach that humility is the core Christian virtue, the characteristic that makes us most like Jesus. Humility helps us realize that even though we all have gifts and talents to do many things, that does not make us better than anyone else. Instead, we try to see life as a level playing field on which each person does her or his part. And at the end of the day, we pay more attention to others than to ourselves. Let someone else compliment you for your work while you focus on building up others.
We all need each other. Each of us needs to be thankful for the next person. This is, as Paul explains next (in verses 5-8), the pattern established by Jesus—so this is the pattern to follow.
The Humbled and Exalted Christ
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it something to be held onto to be equal with God, 7 but emptied himself of His privileges, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Hope, the Anchor of My Soul
Many people are talking and writing about hope these days, mostly in the context of whether or not President Trump has a plan in process that will take back our country from a corrupt, incompetent usurper that has, with the help of foreign countries and, in this country corrupt courts, corrupt political parties, and corrupt financial backers, conducted a fraudulent election.
Whether President Trump is conducting a secret plan or not, however, is not the paramount hope patriotic Americans hold for our country. Our paramount hope is the hope that the control of our country is torn from the hands of these corrupt traitors as soon as possible and that our country, even more so than before, becomes one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all with a government that is truly of the people, by the people and for the people.
All patriotic Americans should be firmly united in this hope.
As Christians, we also have a paramount hope that we who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that [Jesus] has died as a ransom to set [us] free from [our] sin. (Hebrews 9:15) We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. (Hebrews 6:19)
But hope, as defined and used in God’s Word, differs in meaning, and sometimes in usage, from the common use of hope in the English language. In the Christian sense, our hope is a joyful and confident expectation of what is sure (certain), eternal salvation and life eternal in Christ. (Strong’s Concordance and Thayer’s Greek Lexicon)
In most instances in the New Testament, the word hope is the Greek elpis/elpizo. Again, there’s no doubt attached to this word. Biblical hope is a confident expectation or assurance based on a sure foundation for which we wait with joy and full confidence. In other words, “There’s no doubt about it!”
One of the verses in which we find the word hope is Hebrews 11:1. “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” This verse at the beginning of the faith chapter (Hebrews 11) carries with it all of the confidence that comes with knowing for sure, with no question, what we’ve been promised by God in His Word. Our faith is confident assurance, for it is founded on the Rock of our salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Biblical hope is a reality and not a feeling. Biblical hope carries no doubt. Biblical hope is a sure foundation on which we base our lives, believing that God always keeps His promises.
Hope or confident assurance can be ours when we trust the words, “He who believes on Me has everlasting life” (John 6:47). Accepting that gift of eternal life means our hope is no longer filled with doubt but, rather, has as its sure foundation the whole of God’s Word, the entirety of God’s character, and the finished work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As connoseurs of politics, and, formerly for many of us, political commentary provided by corporate media interests, we are all aware now of how such PROGRAMMING influences thought and actions as a result of that influenced thought. Little things like voting for RINOs because, well, yeah, they’re rats, but their OUR rats, comes to mind.
Most Americans who follow the Make America Great Again agenda now know what folly that is.

Usually, We the People are not allowed to see what the deep state is up to. At least, they don’t want us to see it and usually explain whatever is happening away and sweep the scandal under a rug.
In the case of Hollywood, though, we are aware of the wholesale purchase of much of what is a driver of our culture: moving pictures that depict an alternate reality which does influence thinking on many topics. Chy-NAH has owned a fair piece of Tinseltown for quite a while, and the offerings from that entertainment media reflect that Americans are no longer in charge out there.

Naturally, when it comes to Chy-NAH and the way the power brokers do things, it’s pretty obvious diminishing the culture to the very people inhabiting it is the purpose and goal. But what if the masters another level up or so, the deep state/cabal sorts who are reportedly into just about every taboo from a traditional Christian perspective, have been using entertainment in all quarters to soften the impact of the reality that such activity happens right along side of inserting the belief that this sort of thing happens only in the movies, and there is no way it could possibly happen in real life.
MAGIC
In the last 30 or so years multiple different franchises have appeared in entertainment dealing with the occult, but two stand out for having been almost strictly about good vs. evil in the world of magic.
The first is a television series known as “Charmed” where three sisters – all witches – battle the forces of evil in their little world, and are bound by “the power of three.” (Is it just me or is that a little too close to the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Ghost for comfort?) The program did not air on any of the main three networks, but on “The WB.”
The second, of course, is the world of Harry Potter. In one of the more romantic stories out there about women struggling in a man’s world, accounts of the creator and author of seven books that introduced us to magic in a muggle world having written the first one on a manual typewriter whenever she could get her infant daughter to sleep didn’t hurt what turned out to be one very profitable franchise.
The question, though, is why were these two franchises green lighted. Both are purely fictional, and even the late, great exorcist Fr. Gabriel Amorth at first dismissed concerns about them as being “pretending” not practicing magic. After a while, though, Fr. Amorth was less sanguine when he claimed what was really happening was the glamourization of witchcraft.

Some of us are fond of saying, “You see what Madonna started” as a way to explain the sexification of all things female, but the truth is there has always been an undercurrent of the less than wholesome procreative activities in life.
Even today, what is considered to be pornography still carries a stigma even if it has grown in popularity verses actually having to deal with real women, and take your time and do it right bedroom adventures. However, make the graphic sex in print form, put it on a blog, and model it after series romance, and you get “50 Shades of Gray,” a series brought to us by the same mind that created “Twilight” the fantasy romance series for teens. (Not kidding. They came from the same place. E.L. James’s dirty mind.)
Somehow, both of these series ended up on screen. Why and how doesn’t exactly matter. What does is that someone out there wants what happens in a bedroom to be an open book far more than anything Madonna or Lady Gaga could get away with in a music video, and they want the kinky stuff normalized.
(Just as an aside, the world of romance from the big publishers has taken a turn to having REALLY lurid bedroom scenes in great detail in the novels. The details now include descriptions that were off limits for the first 35 years, at least, of the genre’s existence. Read the reviews of some of the best sellers, and the readers are complaining about that. Romance readers want the story, not so much the sex.)

So far, the rest of the lot of crimes against civilization and humanity that the “elites” are rumored to favor have not made it on screen or necessarily in print for mass consumption. Human sacrifice, child rape and the like has not been eased into the culture via the entertainment avenues.
Those topics will definitely be harder to swallow for people raised to be decent human beings.
That doesn’t mean, though, that a couple other topics haven’t entered popular entertainment with the possible intent of diminishing the reality in many minds that, yes, this could really happen here.
DYSTOPIA
Real or imagined. With dystopia, that is the question. Everything is unpleasant, and the government is in complete control.
That is the thematic basis for the popular series beginning with “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games is by far not the first series in print or on film to feature dystopian themes, but thus far in the century of Hollywood entertainment, it is the most popular. It is also the one the young people of the world relate to since they were born after many of the unpleasant regimes of Europe fell during the last fifteen years of the twentieth century.
As the “Biden Administration” comes into focus, rumors of re-education camps and food shortages, and more are creeping into the public consciousness. Whether or not it really happens is another story.
CONSPIRACY AND SECRET SOCIETIES
One would think that after the term “conspiracy theory” was weaponized by the mainstream media following the JFK public execution, there would be no need to demonize the concept further.
Well….
Maybe it was just the number of people suddenly waking up to the reality that all was not as it was reported to be, but in a series of romance novels penned by best-selling author Jayne Ann Krentz beginning in 2007, the Arcane Society took on life and brought secret societies, and the conspiracies around them, into the pop fiction world. (I’ve read them all.)
The Arcane Society is a group living under the radar, as the members of it are “sensitives,” or people with special gifts. Among them are hunters (men with great night vision and who are very fast), dreamlight readers, aura readers, hypnotists, a siren (coloratura soprano who can kill with her high notes), and various other talents that ordinary humans just don’t have. There’s even a family of forgers, and another of contract killers, but that’s incidental. The Arcane Society people are the good guys. Well…except for the subset of them known as “Nightshade.”
See, the people of Nightshade – big money and creepy scientists they are bankrolling – are trying to recreate the “Founder’s Formula” to make sensitives stronger than what they naturally are. And once somebody is on the formula, there is no going back. Skip a couple days, and the person taking it dies. Naturally, the head of Nightshade was once a member of the Council which rules over the Arcane Society.
Add into that the person in charge of the Society’s investigation arm being a natural strategist talent, and CONSPIRACY is a running theme through the books which is kind of lampooned given the two older women who really do believe in conspiracies. One of them even keeps log books of comings and goings at an “institute” which is a character left over from a previous series.
Yes, this is pretty preposterous, but that’s what fiction is for, right?
In the end, the conspiracy people are proven right, but not before a whole lot of inter-family matchmaking occurs. There’s even a Mason-like power structure in the Nightshade organization. Not kidding.
The point, though, is that all of these hard to believe and swallow concepts are already in the public sphere, just not as reality. It has been presented as fiction, even if a lot of it is perfectly real. (Arcane Society sensitives, no, but the rest, yes.)
Which begs the question: was all this put into the public as fiction on purpose so that people would literally say, “That only happens in the movies and in books”?
It’s 2000 ET on Friday as I write this. 16 hours or so to go in the ten days of darkness that began at the inauguration of His Fraudulency, 1200 January 20.
It’s ten days precisely at noon ET on Saturday, in other words, the “ten days of darkness” end halfway through the time this daily that you’re now reading, is current.
Many of us think this is meaningless, just more hopium, like we’ve been fed for four years. We’ve waited four years for justice, we’ve waited four years to finally reclaim the system, as opposed to having just one lone man there as a beach head.
Others think this is finally IT.
Soon enough we will know.
What are your plans if you turn out to be wrong?
I’m in the first camp; my mounting skepticism can’t be denied any longer. And I can tell you what my plans are if I’m wrong. I will feast on crow, and it will be delicious. I’d love to be wrong about this, I really would.
But to those of you who think this is finally IT…what if you turn out to be wrong? I know what some of you will do; many people…some of whom must know the truth in their hearts…have already begun focusing on March 4 as the day.
Maybe some of you will finally notice that the goalposts keep being moved by the Hopium Drug Lords. While Trump was in office there was always some reason why it had to be delayed for just a few more months. Someone died. Elections coming up. Don’t want to disrupt the SCOTUS nominee’s hearings. On and on and on, excuse after excuse.
ENOUGH.
We have to accept that it is ON US to carry this battle forward. We aren’t going to be magically delivered from this. If it couldn’t happen when President Trump had the power of the Oval Office behind him, what makes anyone think that anyone in the Federal government is going to do it for him? This is a Federal government which had never been cleared of its Uniparty embeds, but certainly is being cleared of any Trump holdovers.
The first step to victory will be to acknowledge that we have to fight this from the outside. It’s OK if you don’t know how, yet, or what you are going to do, yet, so long as you’re looking to figure it out. Just like last week, I’m looking for suggestions. (In accordance with the fine print below, they must be legal.) We’ve had some good discussions about this over the past week.
I don’t expect PDJT will be silent. He may very well urge us to do something. (And methinks that “something” isn’t joining anything calling itself the “Patriot Party.”) At which point we should try our darnedest to do so, just like January 6th.
Our Republic must be restored, renewed, and reinvigorated. We will have to do it.
One thing I did in DC on the 6th that I haven’t mentioned here before, was to lay my hand against the foundation wall of the Capitol, and implore them, “Be worthy of those who died for you.”
Those pustulous, rancid, syphilitic, gangrenous bags of rat puke were not.

In honor of our populist investors the pub presents a sweet and tart liqueur called Limoncello as today’s special. Oh, the magic of Limoncello! I first tasted it at an Italian friend’s party. It was late, there were only a few of us left, and we had been laughing and eating for hours. Our host slipped away for a moment and returned with a most intriguing bottle.
Out of the bottle shone liquid sunshine. The bottle was frosty cold, having been stored in the freezer. He gathered a few small glasses and poured a finger or two in each. Then he sat back to watch. Sweetness, light, slight tart, thick and smooth, it was so delicious we held it in our mouths and swirled.
Now Limoncello has a very young history and you can read about it here. It really only came into worldwide prominence in the 1980s, but people will tell you that the Italians have been making homemade Limoncello for their families for generations. Here’s a short video showing how easy it is to make your own.
Distilled spirits, macerated lemon peels, water and sugar. That’s it. Sweet. Tart. Merry-making. Sounds like our gamer investors, no? God bless them and keep them and make His face to shine upon them. And always, Lord, please provide a frosty glass of Limoncello to let them know we love ‘em!
