Free speech, and the open exchange and hashing out of ideas is not only allowed, but encouraged. If we all don’t use it, we’re going to lose it. A little incivility goes a long way, though.

We are entering a time of ultimate struggle between liberty and tyranny. This conflict is already being waged on many fronts. It is a basic military principle that you cannot defeat an enemy you do not see or understand. We must recognize the enemy of our liberty in order to defeat it, but we must also have a vision and love for liberty.
Our nation was born through this struggle, and to some degree, this has been a continual struggle since that time. We must understand that this is our calling and embrace this struggle as an opportunity to proclaim liberty throughout the land.
This struggle has kept us in continuous division and at times has grown to the point of erupting into violence. However, the severity of the violence and damage will depend to a great degree on the spiritual battles, prayers, and engagement of the church in America as salt and light. The strength of the American church is the biggest factor in the severity of the conflict and the ultimate conclusion of it.
In both the American Revolutionary War and the Civil War, Great Awakenings preceded the conflicts. To a large degree, these conflicts were the result of the Awakenings. The church in America was mobilized and energized in both of these. Historians, and also the British adversaries in the Revolutionary War, attributed the success of those seeking independence to “the black robed regiment.” This was a reference to the preachers of the time that wore black robes in the pulpit. Their sermons were so resolute that there was no doubt about where they stood on the great issues of their time. They were so effective in imparting a vision for liberty that they became some of the most wanted men in the colonies by the British forces.
Likewise, it was the Second Great Awakening in the young nation that gave birth to the Abolitionist Movement, which resolved to remove the evil of slavery from the country. Just as we see throughout The Bible, whenever true revival and a turning back to God takes place, evil is driven from the land. As the Third Great Awakening blossoms in our time, an indignation will arise against the great evils of our time, and we can expect movements to develop to go after every form of evil and bondage.
This relates to the first part of the dream I had about the coming Second American Revolutionary/Civil War—the sending out of the champions who would find and destroy the evil strongholds in our land. Some of these have already begun to go forth and others will steadily be joining in.
We all need to hear and respond to the call of God to get in our place in the struggle. The Holy Spirit is now moving to prepare us to hear this call and respond, which is seen by the evidence that has always accompanied the moving of The Spirit. The first evidence of The Holy Spirit will be repentance. Following this will be a love for His first name, which is holy.
True holiness is not legalism. Legalism is not God’s counter to lawlessness, and the law only strengthens the sin and is a “ministry of death” as we read in Romans 7, II Corinthians 3, and other places. True holiness is not motivated by a fear of failure, but by love for God. Imposter holiness, motivated by the law, is like a bride who is driven to be perfect for her wedding day because she is afraid the bridegroom will reject her if there is a spot on her. True holiness is like a bride that wants to be perfect for her bridegroom because she is so in love with Him.
So the great holiness movement we should expect and follow is a love movement: loving God above all else and loving one another as we should. With this we can also expect the abhorrence of sin and iniquity to increase. Then we will see the perpetrators of sin and inequity driven back into the darkness they came from—not just by laws that are passed, but because the iniquity will become as abhorrent to the people as it is with God.
Lust is the counter to true love. The flood of lust and perversion that has been poured out over the land will dry up in a true revival. Movies, television, and publications that promote lust will go out of business. Even the extreme devotion to sports and other forms of entertainment that have eclipsed the love for God and become idols will shrink in popularity until they have returned to their proper balance.
All of this is coming as the victory of true liberty becomes complete. However, for a time it will look like the opposite is happening. Perversion and iniquity in all of its forms will overflow their banks for a time, as will the death and destruction they cause. This may look like an unstoppable flood for a time, but this is the last gasp of a desperate enemy that is about to be vanquished. This will be allowed to reveal those who truly love The Lord and will follow Him from those who love sin and this world more than Him.
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.
Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.
Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren (James 1:12-16).

Born from our discussion of Hanlon’s Razor HERE, I can neither vouch for the originality of Aubergine’s idea, nor will I even try. For MY purposes, this simply IS “Aubergine’s Razor”. Others can argue about priority. I heard it first from Aubergine. DONE!!!
As soon as I read this wonderful inversion of Hanlon’s “dull” Razor, I knew it was a winner, and promptly began creating memes.
That first one is subtle. WHOSE stupidity is not obvious, just as whose malice or guile is also not obvious. However, in my opinion, the fact that it could be many people makes this even more compelling. It is DISTURBING to see the El Paso patsy being led by a tactical pro. This one may not be the most obvious case of the Razor, but it is a POWERFUL one, and is worth coming back to later.
I noticed a FASCINATING psychological effect when I made this meme. As I chose the image, I worried that Susan Rice looked “too innocent” – that the meme would not work.
Yet look at it now. She looks PERFECT for it.

Scott467 noticed something very interesting. The term “could be” almost seems ridiculously gentle, next to some of these criminal creeps. Words like “is likely to be” or ” is obviously” are very tempting. And yet, I think that Aubergine’s formulation, which would simply hint the possibility of malevolence to those lacking in discernment, is the best, because it’s the BROADEST possible application of the idea. If there even COULD be malice or guile, then the DANGER is asserted to be present.

This is a pic of the Civic center in Lake Charles at 9:am this morning. The event doesn’t start until 7:00pm. I can guarandamntee you there will be no Anti-Fa in Lake Charles. I’m laughing just thinking about a scrawny-vampire-looking-face-mask-wearing-millennial facing off with the Cajun Navy.
Any MAGA/KAG Rally day is a great day for America, but today, we have a little bit of business as well. There is a specific reason for the President’s visit to Louisiana today and it’s the Governor’s Jungle Primary Election. Tomorrow, October 12, 2019 is the primary. If no candidate reaches 50% threshold, we have a runoff on November 16th. Currently, the incumbent Dem, John Bel Edwards, is polling at about 42%. Repub challengers Ralph Abraham is at about 22%, and Eddie Rispone is at about 17%. Obviously, we want a runoff, and to ultimately defeat the Dem Governor in Louisiana.

The Louisiana Economy is doing well, but it’s NOT because of the Governor, it’s because of President Trump. The Trump Admin allowed 16 licenses and cut the red tape for rapid build of LNG ports and several are in Louisiana. We remember President Trump’s visit to Cameron Parish – Guys, I was thinking about buying beach land, on the Gulf just a few years ago, 2acre lot, 25K, beach front and backside to a Bayou – perfect for weekends. It was mid-2016. Then, the LNG plant came in an invested about 8 billion dollars, and WHOOOSSHHH, we have a major LNG port in about 18 months. It’s a beautiful thing, and production is sold out for the next 20 years. It’s what makes the USA the Energy powerhouse of the world.
Of course, Governor Edwards is taking credit for President Trump’s success. Not nice, and we’re taking it personally. Politics is a preferred spot in Louisiana, back to the days of Huey Long (1930’s, chicken in every pot, socialist). His brother Earl Long (The Last Hayride – considered a primer for politicians) was worse. The tax structure in the state has 96% of revenue coming from corps, and only 4% coming from individuals. It’s why big companies never locate headquarters in Louisiana.
Furthermore, it is impossible to describe how corrupt the OLD Edwards family has been for decades, but they’re not alone. The Morials, Landreaus, Boggs, and so on, add to the nepotism and graft. As a little girl, I remember Dad complaining about the Daley machine in Chicago, but when we moved to New Orleans, political influence was at a whole new level. Dad used to gripe and moan and wonder how anything could get built.
You might remember this guy, Edwin Edwards, Dem Governor of Louisiana from 1972-1996, not in succession, he took a few years off, and the last time he ran for Governor he ran against David Duke, yes, THAT David Duke. Edwards responded to his opponents ties to the KKK, “We do have one thing in common,” he tells a reporter. “We are both wizards under the sheets.”

By his own count, Edwards has been the subject of almost two dozen state or federal investigations going back to his days in Congress in the ’60s. In the 1980s he was charged with racketeering involving health care investments. His 1985 federal trial ended in a hung jury; he was acquitted in a retrial a year later.
Eventually, Governor Edwards, at age 75, was sentenced to 8 1/2 years in prison, started up with a 35year old blond pen pal, and married her in 2011. He was in his 80’s and had a 1yr old child, with his other children in their 60’s. Asked about his young wife, Edwards said, “You are only as young as the woman you feel.”
Yet, John Bel Edwards and Edwin Edwards are not related or they are only distantly related. No one is really sure. The “name ID” has help John Edwards, to be sure, but it’s been both a blessing and a curse. Most locals think they are related…. but something we don’t talk about in polite company. John Edwards is a true Dixiecrat, and does not have the charm of former Governor Edwin Edwards. John Edwards, although he is a Dem, graduated from West Point, was an airborne ranger for 8yrs, became a lawyer, and is a staunch pro-life supporter. Yet, he is a Dem, runs Louisiana like a Dem, big government and spends more than he takes in.
John Bel Edwards is going to be hard to beat, which is why we’re heading to Lake Charles with President Trump for a rally today.
Since I grew up in New Orleans, and Lake Charles is my stomping ground, I feel obligated to provide you with an extra dose of hospitality. If you get in the car in New Orleans, point west and drive for 5 hours, you land in Houston…… but we need to stop in Lake Charles for food and fun. When you get off the interstate, make sure to stop at a Drive thru Daiquiri shop. Yes, we drink and drive in Louisiana, and since it’s so hot and humid, a frozen treat is always on the menu. Pick your poison. WONDERFUL!
On your way into town, you’ll notice all the bridges. It is a swamp, after all, and we’re accustomed to the water.
The water is everywhere, here. At Christmastime, we don’t have regular parades, we have boat parades.
I was thinking, of all the people I/we know in SW Louisiana, they all have boats. The people are incredibly self-reliant, no whiners allowed. We take care of our own. Probably why Lake Charles is the unofficial home of the Cajun Navy. These are people who can fix things, solve problems, and sure as hell don’t wait for a politician to tell them what to do.
SW Louisiana is equally harsh and gracious, like a double edge sword, and the situation can change in the blink of an eye. Louisiana is the “Sportsman’s Paradise”. The sheer beauty of nature humbles any man who spends time here. We live among the pelicans, herons, cranes, and the alligators, shrimp, crawfish, and oysters. There is no need for invasive environmental policy here, we understand how to take care of our land and waterways, because it’s in our best interest.
And then, of course, there is the food. Here, food is cultural, a social event. Men and women cook, the kids cook, friends come in and out and help peel, chop, and usually stay for dinner. I had a hard time, took me years, to stop cooking for 12 people automatically……. because there were always friends at the table.
The food in southern Louisiana is top notch, everywhere. I recall we had northern cousins visiting us and they wanted to go out and explore the city on their own. They asked Dad where they should go for dinner. Dad said, “Anywhere is great.” They were confused, “Don’t you have a favorite restaurant, someplace good?” Dad frowned and explained, “You don’t understand, here, it would be impossible for a bad restaurant to survive. Everything is good.” Dad was right. It’s true.
If you can manage to stay for a while, SW Louisiana will change your very soul. Your internal clock will change, and you begin to rise with the sun and nod off after dark. Baby turtles, dolphins down by the dock, become family pets. You’re welcome to stay a while. We can go fishing in the morning……

PART 1: Hanlon’s Dull Razor

Wolf made an interesting thread on Twitter yesterday, and I’d like to begin there. Actually, it started with his Twitter friend Girl Grimly, who noticed Maggie Haberman “playing dumb” on Trump’s strategy vis-a-vis Turkey, Erdogan and Syrian withdrawal.
You will notice that there is a typically human non-sequitur here – “You cannot possibly be this stupid.” followed almost directly by “The globalist DC establishment is stupid.“
Just like what happened repeatedly with that smarter human named Einstein, this very bright young lady “had it right the first time“.
They cannot possibly be this stupid.
Smart people are remarkably easy to fool. Particularly if you tell them they’re SMART. After that, you can deceive them in all kinds of ways. Trust me – I’m a PET. Laziest, most deceptive job on Earth. I know how this works.
Normally, Wolf doesn’t catch onto this stuff, but for some reason, this time he did. So here is what Wolf said in response. We will start from the top using IMAGES – not tweets, because eventually Girl Grimly will be banned from Twitter, and only the DNC and CIA will have access to her wisdom.
See how that works? And you people are STILL ON TWITTER. Ridiculous.

Social media for humans to vent, in combination with Fake News playing dumb, is an amazing control tool to keep humans in the kiddie pool. In a normal world run by household pets like me, Maggie Haberman would have been fired long ago for this crap. But she’s actually a pet to her masters, and she is intellectually lazy – ON COMMAND – to get her treats.
It really is “fake news”. It’s a way of controlling people. It is NOT real news. It’s a kind of movable jail without bars.
Anyway, despite the fact that nobody is ever going to see his postings on Twitter, Wolf rather stupidly kept yelling into the void.
Wolf made this point before – LOST in the void of TWITTER.
Thomas Wictor likes to use Hanlon’s Razor, and while Thomas is a smart person, remember what I said – SMART PEOPLE are among the easiest to fool.
Wolf’s explanation of the fallacy follows:
Wolf’s corrected maxim, “Stupidity is likely to explain misfortune where deception is highly unlikely.“, accounts for the intriguing fact that the smarter and more capable the deceiver is, relative to the deceived, the EASIER it is to rely on deception, which in the case in question would mean PLAYING DUMB. This is why deception has to be not just unlikely, but HIGHLY UNLIKELY, for Hanlon’s Razor to even BEGIN making sense. Otherwise, Hanlon’s Razor is BACKWARDS thinking.
Hanlon’s Razor….
“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”
….is problematic because YOUR stupidity matters even more than the PRESUMED stupidity of the potential perpetrator of “whatever”. If the other party is smarter than YOU, then they can simply FEIGN STUPIDITY and you will TAKE THE BAIT.
They have ACHIEVED COVER.
I really have to admire the remarkable LULLING that Hanlon’s Razor accomplishes. To REMEMBER this deceitful malaphorism PROPERLY, remember it being whispered into a foolish king’s ear by your tribe’s mortal enemy, whoever that may be.

Wolf hadn’t noticed this part about “malice”, THE LAST TIME he woke up on Hanlon’s Razor, only to be lulled back into “compliance”. I’m very glad he spotted it, because the “malice” part ALWAYS grated on my nerves.
Malice is a diversion – a presumption – a shiny object – a distraction.
The sleight of hand of asserting MALICE helps to sell the LIE that is Hanlon’s Razor.
If you’ve ever dealt with real criminals, like my previous owners (yes, I’m a rescue), then you understand that they are malicious about as often as good people. They just follow a simple rule:
“The rules don’t matter if I don’t get caught breaking them.”
Crooks are actually somewhat lovable people. They have reasons for breaking the rules, just like others have reasons for following them. Malice is rarely part of the equation.
It’s hilarious, but there should be a FULL STOP in Hanlon’s Razor, the absence of which almost argues for its diabolical intelligence. We’ll use a different form that shows it more clearly:
“Never assume malice when stupidity will do.”
But look at it this far:
“Never assume malice….”
“WAYUL SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE!”
You just assumed malice, as DIRECTED by the PROGRAMMING of the assertion.
Take a look at how this looks from the “perp side of the con job”….

Are you seeing this? I hope so. It really is time for you tall dogs to grow the XXXX up.

Wolf is onto the key point. Hanlon’s Razor is very useful for DELUDED SHEEP to keep themselves in line.

PART 2: Beyond The Mamet Principle
OK, class. There is a reason that we’re back here.
We need to bust not just one, but TWO ideas. The problem is, the second one is actually EXTREMELY useful as a “spotting scope”, but it is NOT accurate as a RANGE-FINDER.
What I am talking about is the Mamet principle, something which was LOOSELY stated by liberal-turned-conservative playwright David Mamet.

Wolf was taught this idea by SUNDANCE at The Last Refuge. Sundance uses it A LOT. Wolf LOVES it. So much so, that he made that MEME above, which alludes to the Mamet Principle using the idea that liberals utterly ignore Uranium One and the payoffs that Hillary Clinton received, to the tune of 146 million dollars. Liberals who still support Hillary Clinton LITERALLY pretend that these things didn’t happen, and/or don’t matter. The meme is designed to make liberals UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE PRETENSE.

Now, recently, Wolf started to WAKE UP on an idea – the idea that one can USE the Mamet Principle like ALGEBRA to SOLVE for what liberals are ACTUALLY DOING.
This is sometimes a scary thought, as you will see. When liberals PRETEND things, it is comfortable to think that they’re just being ILLOGICAL. What is NOT comfortable is realizing that they are actually pursuing something, and that their LIES are actually LOGICAL in that pursuit.
It is very important to DIVORCE the “brain-dead fronts” themselves from the liberal propaganda. Maxine Waters and Beto O’Rourke may be fronting the illogic, but if you let them personify it, you may have trouble appreciating the STALIN or the BERIA or the HOLDER or the AXELROD behind it.
Here is Wolf on Twitter again, as he was starting to see this. Let’s track his understanding as it grows.

You can see here that Wolf was starting to get beyond the illogic – to see their LOGIC. The leftists WANT the political violence. That is a HARD PILL TO SWALLOW. It means they’re BOLSHEVIKS. It is much easier – much more comfortable – to think they’re stupid.
Their IDEAS and LYING GOALS interpreted at face value may be illogical, but the PEOPLE are not. Perhaps the “brain-dead fronts” who PARROT the ideas are illogical and stupid, but NOT the people behind the situation.
THEY HAVE A PLAN.

You have to follow it to Twitter, to see Thomas’s “missing” tweets, all nice and linked up in a row and weirdly accounted for, yet somehow invisible. It is extremely reasonable to presume that Thomas’s TWEET DATA is still on Twitter, usable by DNC and CIA. But WE cannot see it.

THEY KNOW. THEY ARE NOT STUPID. It is not illogic. WE are the ones who are being illogical about THEM. We are not admitting that this Fake News Media is absolutely NOT ON OUR SIDE – meaning HUMANITY AS WE KNOW IT – and must be UTTERLY REJECTED.

Here, Wolf talks about another Wolff, that horrible author of lies and malicious slander, who “pretends not to know” that he publishes assault garbage for a political agenda. Wolf also lays into another bad practice of the left in the publishing world, while he’s at it.
The left can stop almost any book they want, LONG before it goes to press. They STEAL pitches and give them to favorites like Chelsea Clinton. But by pretending not to know it's BS (Mamet principle), they can let psy-op slander move all the way to their #FakeNews talk cycles.
Perhaps the best place that Wolf actually put his new realization to use, as he was developing it, was PARKLAND. The entire operation depended on MASSIVE PRETENSE OF IGNORANCE.

It’s very simple. DO NOT assume that the leftists are stupid. Yes, some of them ARE stupid, and THEY are the ones who make excellent FRONTS – a deception that buys time and opportunity for the more devious leftists.
When liberals “pretend not to know things”, don’t stop there. They are PLAYING STUPID or fronting a stupid position, but it is not the REAL position. Their stated goals are not the REAL goals.
FIND the real goals and STOP THEM from getting there.

A perfect example of this technique, is how we shut down the Obama-Holder “Promise Programs” that were destroying due process (Trayvon Martin) and creating propaganda such as the Parkland massacre. The left had pretended not to know what was happening. We had to figure out what WAS happening – what the LIES actually were – and then STATE THEM OPENLY.
It was identifying the CONSPIRACY OF FEIGNED STUPIDITY and LIES behind #Parkland that put the Promise Programs in jeopardy.
