DEAR MAGA: Open Thread 20220630

Let’s get this party started.

https://twitter.com/Yoda4ever/status/1542116923512655873

We begin with a screaming headline from Sundance on Russia/Ukraine/New World Order wanting nuclear war:

Deafening Drumbeats for War – Biden Sends More U.S. Troops to Ukraine Border, 101st Airborne Deployed, Six Destroyers to Mediterranean, F-35 Squadrons to U.K.

Before doing a headslap with “not this $#!+ again,” it’s worth considering that the show is still rolling and NATO, the operational arm of the Military Industrial Complex, needs cash. Well, and then there’s this:

As noted by the New York Times last weekend [source], the CIA, State Dept. and Pentagon special forces are operating in Kyiv and organizing the military conflict against Russian forces in eastern Ukraine.

War with Russia is moving from “if” to “when”, and here’s how we know it is almost certain.

The NATO and western alliance that is currently engaging in the military buildup against Russia is the exact same alliance of governments’ who are chasing the climate change agenda at all costs.

I know it sounds outlandish, but the World Economic Forum multinational corporations that influence and manipulate geopolitical politics are the driving force for this needed war with Russia.  Their holy grail of Climate Change policy, and the massive shift in global economic power that comes with executing the climate change agenda, is so consequential to the geopolitical world that such a massive move is needed.

More specifically, we already know there is going to be a global food shortage as a result of the new world order energy policy that underpins the Build Back Better agenda.  We do not know the extent of the food deficit; however, we do know less food, perhaps much less food, is going to be available on a global basis.

We also know the majority voices, including the United States, within the NATO alliance have decided it is more important to follow the climate change policy than it is to feed people. [Africa Example]  The U.K and Germany proposed trying to avoid further conflict by generating more food [source].  The U.S. and Canada have blocked the effort saying that maintaining the shift toward new western energy development is more important.

Maintaining the development of a new western energy system to drive economic activity is more urgent and important than the looming crisis of global famine.  Accepting that reality, understanding the priorities as outlined, are the keys to understanding why the western alliance need the war with Russia {GO DEEP}.

I cannot emphasize this enough.  If you do not accept the scale, scope and severity of the collective west’s entrenched commitment to climate change, you will be caught off-guard and not understand what is coming.

What’s coming is they are trying to kill us. We get that.

Let’s see, more from Sundance:

The J6 Committee Went Full Jussie Smollett Today and It is Hilarious

Either J6 committee witness Cassidy Hutchinson is currently working for Donald Trump in a weird effort to make the J6 committee look absolutely silly, or Cassidy Hutchinson is the latest Jussie Smollett or Christine Blasey-Ford.   Ms. Hutchinson’s testimony was so outlandish only the most intellectually deficient left-wing loons could or would believe it.

Ms. Hutchinson claimed she heard a story from some unknown person that President Trump was so insistent on traveling to the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, that he assaulted his secret service detail and grabbed the steering wheel on the presidential limousine.   She heard it from someone, who heard it from someone, and so Ms. Hutchinson was pushed in front of the J6 cameras to proclaim it.

The story fell apart before the ink was even dry on the headlines.

Not only did the story fall apart, but the boards lit up with classic memes, videos and satire.

Frankly, most of us are here:

Airlines continue to take it on the chin:

What’s going on with our commercial airlines?

What’s going on? We’ve never had a pilot shortage before. We may currently have more air travelers needing flights than a year ago, but not more than before COVID—and yet, here we are, facing an entirely new problem. It’s so bad that American Airlines is offering pilots on its regional carriers double and triple pay for the month of July if they’ll take extra flights.

It’s not hard to figure out what’s happening—despite the seeming prohibition on our pilots saying anything about it. We rarely hear a peep from them, at least on mainstream news outlets. There’s even a noticeable dearth of questions asked at Fox News of late. Nobody is questioning this fiasco beyond some Fox Business report of a lot of pilot retirements. It just is, apparently.

We don’t hear about the baby boomer aged pilots aging out, either. FAA mandatory retirement is 65. Think on that.

Jazz Shaw put this out:

Alternate view: The airlines aren’t holding up their end of the deal

At the New York Post, Karol Markowicz offers an important reminder about our recent history during the early days of the pandemic. It may not be possible for the airlines to immediately put a sufficient number of pilots in their planes today, but they should never have experienced a pilot shortage to begin with. The taxpayers gave the airlines tens of billions of dollars (literally) to keep people employed during the pandemic shutdowns but they slashed their pilots from the payrolls anyway. In short, the blame still lies with them because they took the money and didn’t hold up their end of the deal.

“Why would there be a pilot shortage, the average flyer screams into the void. In one of the dumbest moves possible, pilots were encouraged to retire early to avoid being laid off during the pandemic.

“But here is exactly where the poor performance of airlines becomes a bigger deal than just a business failing to deliver quality service to the customer. Throughout the last two years, airlines received more than $50 billion in pandemic-relief money. Our money. Congress has tried to demand answers about how that money was spent, but just like all of their other boondoggles, they could not come up with any clear answers.

“That money was meant to preserve jobs and save an industry. Pilots, pretty important to the whole flying thing, should never have been encouraged off the job. Instead, the industry is in disarray, staff were laid off anyway and the money is gone.”

Markowicz points out another factor that led to this mess. The airlines kept insisting that only vaccinated workers (including pilots) could remain on the job. Those with exemptions were placed on paid leave but unvaccinated workers without an exemption were fired. They stuck with that policy until nearly April of this year and then gave up on it. They didn’t have to do that. They could have left all of the pilots, including the unvaccinated ones on the payroll using the money the government gave them for that purpose. But now, as the author points out, the pilots are gone and so is the money.

This actually being the case is another story. The reality is air travelers are frustrated. We got used to convenience, and being able to travel without much of an issue just about anywhere.

NEVER A TRUER WORD SPOKEN!
Copied and pasted

An opinion piece from a vaccinated Australian writer:
“If Covid was a battlefield it would still be warm with the bodies of the unvaccinated.

Thankfully the mandates are letting up and both sides of the war stumble back to the new normal.

The unvaccinated are the heroes of the last two years as they allowed us all to have a control group in the great experiment and highlight the shortcoming of the Covid vaccines.

The unvaccinated carry many battle scars and injuries as they are the people we tried to mentally break,
yet no one wants to talk about what we did to them and what they forced “The Science“ to unveil.

We knew that the waning immunity of the fully vaccinated had the same risk profile as others within society as the minority of the unvaccinated,
yet we marked them for special persecution.

You see we said they had not “done the right thing for the greater good” by handing their bodies and medical autonomy over to the State.

Many of the so-called health experts and political leaders in Australia admitted the goal was to make life almost unlivable for the unvaccinated,

which was multiplied many times by the collective mob, with the fight taken into workplaces, friendships, and family gatherings.

Today the hard truth is none of it was justified as we took a quick slide from righteousness to absolute cruelty.

We might lay the blame on our leaders and health experts for the push but each individual within society must be held accountable for stepping into the well-laid-out trap.

We did this despite knowing full well that principled opposition is priceless when it comes to what goes inside our bodies and we let ourselves be tricked into believing that going into another ineffective lockdown would be the fault of the unvaccinated and not the fault of the toxic policy of ineffective vaccines.

We took pleasure in scapegoating the unvaccinated because after months of engineered lockdowns by political leaders blinded by power, having someone to blame and to burn at the stake felt good.

We believed we had logic, love, and truth on our side so it was easy to wish death upon the unvaccinated.

Those of us who ridiculed and mocked the non-compliant did it because we were embarrassed by their courage and principles and didn’t think the unvaccinated would make it through unbroken and we turned the holdouts into punching bags.

Lambie, Carr, Chant, Andrews, McGowan, Gunner, and the other cast of hundreds in prominent roles need to be held to account for vilifying the unvaccinated in public and fueling angry social media mobs.

The mobs, the mask Nazis, and the vaccine disciples have been embarrassed by “betting against” the unvaccinated because mandates only had the power we gave them.

It was not compliance that ended domination by Big Pharma Companies, Bill Gates and his many organizations, and the World Economic Forum…

It was THANKS to the people we tried to embarrass, ridicule, mock and tear down.

We should all try and find some inner gratitude for the unvaccinated as we took the bait by hating them because their perseverance and courage bought us the time to see we were wrong.

So if mandates ever return for Covid or any other disease or virus, hopefully, more of us will be awake and see the rising authoritarianism that has no concern for our well-being and is more about power and control.

The War on the Unvaccinated was lost and we should all be very thankful for that.”

Cancel Culture” is the new regime whereby one can lose one’s livelihood, one’s reputation, and even one’s friends for not hewing to every last tenet of the reigning orthodoxy. The gay journalist Chadwick Moore learned about the intolerance of left-wing cancelers when he came out as a conservative (italics added):

I began to realize that maybe my opinions just didn’t fit in with the liberal status quo, which seems to mean that you must absolutely hate Trump, his supporters and everything they believe. If you dare not to protest or boycott Trump, you are a traitor.

If you dare to question liberal stances or make an effort toward understanding why conservatives think the way they do, you are a traitor.

You must kneel before Rome, you must grovel at her feet. For wokesters, it’ll never do to be just “99 and 44/100% pure,” like the old Ivory Soap ads claimed. No, my fair cousin, one needs to be 100% pure. Otherwise, you might just be an anti-social deviant, or maybe even an adherent of deviationism.

We don’t need the new boss. We need a change. Self-government is something we have done before, and we can do it again.

Pro-Lifers On Offense

Reaction, yes. Reactive, no. It is time for the champions of life to go on the offense, and there ought to have been a play. The most emotive rhetoric of the apologists for slaughter and the actions of businesses and nonprofits in the last few days have both been entirely unsurprising. This is in no way to say that anyone must concede the language and claims of abortionists, but rather that, already knowing well their words and their tactics, red states might have largely preempted them. Foster systems and adoption processes and state medical systems could have been proactively reformed. Governors could beat Congress in creative promotion of marriage and family, whether it be through housing help, child tax credits, or policies that improve employment for men without college degrees. Corporations and organizations willing to fund abortion travel should be punished for helping kill a citizen of a state that protects life. You cannot cast down the high places of Moloch without resisting Mammon, too.

PSALMS 19:8-11

7The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; 8the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; 9the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; the ordinances of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. 10More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.

MATTHEW 9:1-8

1And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to his own city. 2And behold, they brought to him a paralytic, lying on his bed; and when Jesus saw their faith he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.” 3And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.” 4But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5For which is easier, to say, `Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, `Rise and walk’? 6But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins” — he then said to the paralytic — “Rise, take up your bed and go home.” 7And he rose and went home. 8When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

It’s Wednesday, five days after the Supreme Court obliterated a phantom right in the Constitution, and the decision is still dominating the blogs.

This is a sample of reading room headlines:

Blue States And Red Abortion

America should learn what it can from the Soviet abortion regime and the breakdown of families under Communism.

NEW LIFE

THE END OF ROE V. WADE: THOUGHTS AND MEMORIES

But politics were only a part of the pro-life environment I grew up in. My mom believed that “it’s not enough to believe something, you have to live it.” And she did, showing up to support expectant mothers, throwing baby showers, taking home-cooked meals to couples just home from the hospital, sharing her wisdom for raising children, and so on. She also voted in every election and was active in the local Republican Party. It wasn’t out of a sense of activism that she did this though, but out of a genuine feeling that life was a precious gift worth celebrating and nurturing. It was personal for her, and for me. Her first two pregnancies had gone smoothly enough but she had developed life-threatened blood clots during the next three. Then I came along unexpectedly in her forties. The family doctor was apoplectic. The blood clots returned. She went on bedrest, injected herself with blood thinner shots, but never once considered termination. She risked her own life for mine.

OUR TASK IN POST-ROE AMERICA

For fifty years pro-life advocates have done the hard work of keeping the nation’s conscience alive. We protested, we prayed in front of clinics, we sustained crisis pregnancy centers to help women choose life, we conducted healing retreats for women and men suffering the after-effects of abortion, we founded journals like the Human Life Review to make the intellectual case. Many worked in the legal field to make the principled case for overturning Roe v. Wade. Others strove to form and select judges who would respect and not pervert our national commitment to the inalienable right to life. Those called to politics worked to elect presidents and senators who would confirm such judges to the Supreme Court.

Together, we persevered. And today it is hard not to feel like we triumphed.

But in truth the overthrow of Roe is not the final triumph but the beginning of a new and harder road ahead. Our goal is not to create a culture where abortion is illegal, but where it is unthinkable. To do that requires sacrificial love for both mother and child.

Pro-abortion militants target pregnancy centers using map created by university professors

What has been noticed in the aftermath of the decision’s official release is just how unhinged the left is. It’s not just over the topic of abortion, but all sorts of things.

The Left-wing Insurrection Intensifies

This isn’t just a few fringe voices. Prominent legal analysts and authors are calling the Court illegitimate. The chair of the Democrat National Committee has pulled out the bullhorn to condemn the Court. Writers at Teen Vogue, whatever one thinks of Teen Vogue, have also used their cultural clout and reach to spew their propaganda. The “mainstream” of the Democrat Party and their allies are calling the Court illegitimate; they have joined the very far-left that have been saying this for decades.

Insurrection is a violent uprising against legal authority with the intent to overthrow it. Of course, liberals won’t openly admit that what they advocate is insurrection. But that is, in essence, what the left is advocating.

By demonizing and attempting to delegitimize the Supreme Court, whose function is to uphold the Constitution and its rule of law, the Left intends to weaken the last bastion of American civil society and legal order to overthrow it. By eliminating the legitimacy of the Supreme Court, this will give the Left a blank check to open power to remake America and its laws in their image. It’s an insurrection and revolution in all but name.

If the Left can’t achieve policy victories because their policies lead to depression and societal ruination, then they will do so by force and ignore the people and the rule of law. That has been the playbook of left-wing revolutionaries since the Jacobins. When you can’t win by legislation, win by force. When you can’t change the system from within, overthrow the system from the outside. That is insurrection.

The Rapid Onset Ruling-Class Disorder Crisis

Hey ruling class! How yer doin’, pal? Do you feel, after a black man dared to reaffirm the Second Amendment and Roe v. Wade got overturned, that the world is spinning out of control?

I think you may want to consult a mental-health expert and ask xir about Rapid Onset Ruling-Class Disorder (RORD). Experts agree that RORD is commonly found among the high-status supporters of a ruling class confronted by unexpected lack of respect from uppity black men. It is also associated with a ruling class headed for the exits, as in Louis XVI and Mikhail Gorbachev.

Seriously though. Are you rulers willing to listen to a bit of feedback, for once in your conceited lives? In his Ruling Class Gaetano Mosca stated a century ago that a wise ruling class is always promoting likely young men from a lower class, because wise rulers always want to know what they are thinking down on the farm before they get to see gay Paree.

There is a silver lining to all this.

As a general rule of thumb, you should NOT be approaching anyone with any of this stuff. Nobody likes to be bombarded with information they didn’t ask for. You should be educating yourself, and conducting yourself in a certain manner, and the normies will come to you.

Carry yourself in a manner that says “I don’t subscribe to the false reality”. People can sense it on you. When asked your opinion on something, state it proudly. But don’t go out of your way to tell people about this stuff. The curious ones, they will detect that you are different and don’t act like the rest of the brainwashed lemmings, and they will come to you.

These curious normies, who have started to notice the narrative being fed to them is bullshit, they will ask you stuff like “hey what do you think about this?”, Or “did you see this?”, looking to get a response from you, for an alternative perspective to what they get from their MSM echo chamber.

This is when you have opportunity to show them irregularities in what they are being fed. If you are able to show them one irregularity, they will be inspired to look for other irregularities in their narrative(s), and their search for truth begins. And depending on how close you are with the person, they will come back with more questions. And it’s our individual responsibility to be as well versed as possible, so we can assist those with questions and curious minds.

Also, you need to be delicate, and not throw these people head first into the deepest and most obscure of rabbit holes. They are already in a heightened state of anxiety, going outside their comfort zone and questioning their reality. Don’t spook them with the crazy stuff at first. The Biltmore pool is not how you red-pill normies. Start with a smaller dose.

ACTS 12:1-11

1About that time Herod the king laid violent hands upon some who belonged to the church. 2He killed James the brother of John with the sword; 3and when he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. This was during the days of Unleavened Bread. 4And when he had seized him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring him out to the people. 5So Peter was kept in prison; but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church. 6The very night when Herod was about to bring him out, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison; 7and behold, an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands. 8And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your mantle around you and follow me.” 9And he went out and followed him; he did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened to them of its own accord, and they went out and passed on through one street; and immediately the angel left him. 11And Peter came to himself, and said, “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.”

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

And…members of the QTree who no longer participate for one reason or another, as well as Gil, RDS, Bakocarl, Nora, Cthulhu (who is getting prayers whether it’s life threatening or not) and any others facing serious health issues right now..

It is quite clear, as per Wolf’s message from July, that we are under spiritual attack. Building up a robust arsenal of prayer and discipline is a must in fighting the enemy and his minions.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

Well, and then there’s….

Dear KAG: 20220628 Open Thread

Following Dan Scavino’s lead. Artwork will return next week.

So, this is what winning in the political realm feels like.

May as well start with the most monumental Supreme Court decision of the year now that the reality has had a chance to marinate.

Reading Room on Roe:

How the Eugenics Movement Made Race-Based Abortions Normal

Sen. Josh Hawley Predicts Dobbs Ruling Ends Corporatist-Social Conservative ‘Alliance’ in Washington

I would predict the effect is going to be that more and more red states are going to become more red, purple states are going to become red, and the blue states are going to get a lot bluer. I would look for Republicans as a result of this, in time, to extend their strength in the Electoral College and that’s very good news for those of us who want to see Republican presidents elected and want to see the Supreme Court remain conservative, so I think this will have a pretty dramatic effect on American politics as we go forward.

One other aspect of that that I think is going to be pretty significant: For years on the conservative side of the ledger, social conservatives have been told that they had to form an alliance with the corporatists, the neo-liberals, in order to get elected. You know we were told repeatedly: “Well, we got to make common cause because if you social conservatives want to have any chance of seeing Roe overruled you’ve got to have conservative judges and justices appointed, so you’ve got to go along with a globalist corporatist program.” I think that alliance is over today.

There’s no reason for social conservatives to go along with a corporatist agenda that frankly never had much support in the country and that you see conservative voters increasingly turning away from. So I think the globalist-corporatist agenda that has been a free rider in the Republican coalition for years now, I think is in serious jeopardy today because what use is that wing, it’s really not even a wing because it doesn’t account for hardly any voters in our coalition.

But I think you’re going to see a sorting out within the conservative coalition where social conservatives, cultural conservatives, will become much stronger and more prominent because frankly they are the ones who delivered here. This is their victory today. I think the skepticism you see in that coalition towards big business, towards the multi-national corporations, and all that that entails, I think that will become more pronounced as we go forward, and I look forward to that.

Repealing Roe reveals sharp contrast between good and evil

Those who are overreacting are deliberately lying about what the Dobbs decision has done. It has not “banned abortion.” Abortions will still be legal in many States. But the reactions on the Left have been those of scalded cats. It is almost as though young people especially have been waiting for another excuse to protest and destroy things. They seem to enjoy doing such things and the Roe decision is handy.

Killing babies in or out of the womb is evil. It is a way for the baby to suffer the consequences of the mother’s (and father’s) indiscretion. Would the same mother want to die for the sins of her child? No, not if she is so willing to kill the child in the first place. Even Old Testament law allowed for punishment against anyone harming a pregnant mother if the unborn child was killed.

The “good” here is the general public attitude on the Right toward bearing children. It is positive. It is geared to promoting childbirth whenever possible. Children are blessings.

Our Dark Age

Satan, it is said, cannot bear to be mocked, and we may extend the point to cover human beings, too, when they are committed to something they cannot help but know is evil. They lose all sense of proportion, all sense of irony. So, predictably but sadly enough, we have seen women protesting the decision by getting themselves up in ghoulish red costumes and splashing the walls of churches with red paint, like blood. Might I suggest that proving your opponent’s point in such a graphic way, and making yourselves out to be ghastly and impossible to reason with, is perhaps not the best argument you might use to support what you want—the license to kill?

Election stuff:

2020 election investigations and lawsuits building momentum

Michigan GOP lawmakers and the Republican Party in Spokane County, Wash., are requesting investigations into concerns regarding the 2020 election, and a case in Delaware County, Pa., has been assigned a judge.

GOP lawmakers in the Michigan House of Representatives are urging the state’s attorney general, a Democrat, to investigate the Democratic secretary of state for possible election fraud and allegations highlighted in Dinesh D’Souza’s “2000 Mules” ballot trafficking documentary.

“We write to you today urging you to investigate, and bring charges if credible evidence is found, the Secretary of State of Michigan, members of her office, and any organizations or individuals for crimes related to fraud committed in the 2020 election and crimes brought to light in the documentary 2000 Mules,” reads the letter to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.

The letter asks the attorney general to investigate Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson for using “4.5 million dollars of CARES funds to recklessly mail absentee ballot applications to all registered voters not on the permanent absentee voter list”; ordering “Michigan clerks in October 2020 to presume the accuracy of absentee ballot signatures … in contrast to state law”; and not responding to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests “by voters and groups like the Michigan Grassroots Alliance related to the voter rolls, Canton Township’s voters, and City of Detroit ballots.”

With regard to the documentary, the letter referenced “individuals (referred to as mules) who repeatedly would visit ballot dropboxes and deposit multiple ballots, allegedly for payment, in states with controversial elections in 2020, such as Georgia and Pennsylvania.”

The GOP legislators noted that in the documentary “Michigan was named as a state that had such mules influence the 2020 Presidential Election.”

As a matter of fact it’s being bolstered every day. Over the weekend, someone brought this interview with Gregg Phillips to the site. It is most definitely worth the time to listen.

Adding fuel to the fire that when it comes to stealing elections, the mules are just the tip of a very sophisticated and old iceberg that goes back long before Tammany Hall, Project Veritas put out a video of a candidate for office in South Carolina strategizing how to put sleepers into office.

Sundance’s take:

Project Veritas Action, a subsidiary of Project Veritas, has released a leaked audio from South Carolina Democrat Krystle Matthews, promoting a political strategy where blacks infiltrate the republican party and use drug money to fund organized political changes.  See Website Here.  A portion of the audio is below {Direct Rumble Link}

What South Carolina Senate candidate Matthews is outlining in the leaked audio sounds remarkably similar to the prior successful operation of Georgia democrats and republicans.  The networks of the AME church and the political activists within the Black Lives Matter movement, coalesce by infiltrating the republican party and then working to support the agenda of the Democrat political apparatus.

This is the quiet part of turning a red state blue.

That story appeared in multiple outlets in no time at all.

Other headlines worth noting:

CANCELLED: Lawyers Who Won Major Gun Rights Case Forced Out of Firm

Kirkland & Ellis LLP, one of the largest law firms in the country, is dropping all Second Amendment cases after pressure from clients and other lawyers at the firm. This left the two primary attorneys who successfully argued New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen before the Supreme Court with no clients and no jobs.

Former Solicitor General Paul Clement and Erin Murphy, a regular Supreme Court litigator, resigned from Kirkland & Ellis and announced they were opening their own shop in Washington, D.C. Clement has been a high-profile litigator of conservative causes since he left the administration of President George W. Bush. In 2011, he argued the Defense of Marriage Act on behalf of Republican lawmakers before the Supreme Court.

That case also caused Clement to resign from the firm King & Spalding following pressure from clients to drop the gay marriage case.

The Modern Democrat Voter

The DNC are the Party of Infanticide

Centrists and Liberals are starting to recognize that the “pro-choice” movement includes infanticide.

I spend a lot of time patrolling liberal platforms, to see what the leftist hive-mind are pushing. This way I can assess their collective awareness, see what kind of narratives are popular, as well as which/how many of our narratives gain traction in liberal echo chambers. There lies great value in knowing the enemy.

I found an extremely interesting nugget on the heavily left/leaning sub r/pics on Reddit. See attached. Its a picture of a pregnant woman about 8+ months, clearly in her 3rd trimester, protesting in front of the Supreme Court, with “NOT YET A HUMAN” written on her exposed stomach. While she’s holding another child on her hip. She’s also got some disturbing eyes, don’t zoom in on them, I tried to warn you.

But the picture isn’t the focus, it’s the comments. All of the comments are liberals and self-admitted pro-choice advocates, stating that this image is disturbing, and that clearly abortion at this stage is wrong and she’s carrying a human at this point and it is not just a clump of cells. Collectively agreeing that this is a bad look for the pro-choice movement. Any dissent from the left-wing narrative is abnormal for Reddit.

This post led to some hilarious dialogues between the sheep, as they accidentally red-pill themselves, by establishing that at some point in pregnancy, what’s inside the womb, is a human. They are met with the reality that there is a LINE. But the sheep are unsure with themselves as to where that line begins. All of them have different answers and roundabout ways to say they aren’t sure when a fetus becomes a “human”.

The left is red pilling itself. Interesting.

PSALMS 5:4-8

3O LORD, in the morning thou dost hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for thee, and watch. 4For thou art not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not sojourn with thee. 5The boastful may not stand before thy eyes; thou hatest all evildoers. 6Thou destroyest those who speak lies; the LORD abhors bloodthirsty and deceitful men. 7But I through the abundance of thy steadfast love will enter thy house, I will worship toward thy holy temple in the fear of thee.

MATTHEW 8:23-27

23And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. 25And they went and woke him, saying, “Save, Lord; we are perishing.” 26And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27And the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?”

Dear KMAG: 20220627 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic / In Memory of Wheatietoo

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And while this is another Monday……

…..and while we WILL get through it……

….. we have some very sad news about our Wheatie Warrior.

…..and thus this will be a very special Monday Open Thread, honoring our friend, fellow Ultra-MAGA Deplorable, and loyal Q Treeper, Miss Wheatie.

We will dispense with the boilerplate, so that we may all remember and honor our fallen sister in arms, Wheatietoo.

OK – maybe just her three rules, from her very first open thread.

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Mood Music

The Sad News

It is my sad duty to inform my fellow patriots that it is fairly certain Miss Wheatie left us earlier this spring. In respect of Wheatie’s deep love of privacy, I will not give all the details of my investigation, but I will try to give you enough information that you can be certain she is in a better place now.

https://youtu.be/7dbwwu7ydhM

What Happened

Wheatie’s last comments here were on Christmas Eve of 2021. You may recall that we were temporarily locked out of the site, but got back in soon, after regrouping on the backup sites, and thanks to some help from our hosting company.

Wheatie “liked” a few posts during the next few days after Christmas, but did not comment. Her last “like” was on the December 29 open thread, just 4 days after Christmas.

Wheatie’s last comment on Gab was on 12/20, re-posting this meme:

Wheatie had been having difficulty posting during the fall, due to health reasons, and was having to limit computer screen time for the sake of her eyes. When I gave her the option to be relieved of the Monday thread, she took it without hesitation. Unfortunately, things did not improve.

In early December, after my wife and I recovered from Delta, which we caught around Thanksgiving, I reached out to Wheatie on Gab, because I hadn’t seen her comment in a while. She responded, telling me that she had spent a week in what seemed like a long asthma attack, and which she thought might be some kind of bad bout of allergies.

The next time I reached out to her, in early spring – nothing.

Since then, I have tried many methods of contacting her, with absolutely no luck.

Finally, I decided to look for evidence that Wheatie might have passed away. Unfortunately, that led almost immediately to an obituary notice which matched absolutely everything I knew about Wheatie. And I mean everything. Things that nobody else here knows.

At that point, I decided to enlist the aid of Aubergine, who has done professional genealogy work. Her investigation made it even more clear that we had found our Wheatie. We both agreed that it was time to tell everybody, so that people could offer prayers and honor our fellow Q Treeper. But at the same time, we felt it necessary to maintain the secrecy of Wheatie’s identity, which she had worked very, very hard to maintain.

The Real Wheatie

Wheatie lived a long, blessed, and wonderful life. Be assured of that. She did fascinating things, enjoyed the love of family, and stood up for principles in a way which profoundly influenced many lives, including my own. She made a difference.

Wheatietoo was one of the first people to join this site, and helped to turn it from a mere blog, into a true meeting-place for patriots and lovers of freedom. Many of us knew her from long before, however, on Sundance’s site, or in some cases, on Ace of Spades HQ, where she had been a regular.

Among many other things, Wheatie was responsible for this site’s long-running James Coburn meme, in which I, too, took great pleasure.

She was also responsible for the “tree and treehouse” memes, which were a comfort for all of us in the rough early days of this site.

Perhaps the most significant thing that Wheatie did, was to refuse to accept the stolen election, or the illegitimate Biden presidency. You can even see it in the title of this thread – “Joe Biden didn’t win.”

Wheatietoo’s adamant refusal to accept the lie, echoed and cascaded through this site, and far beyond. I still remember that point, when I told myself that I would become her “first follower” as far as refusing to accept EVEN THE IDEA that Joe Biden had won the election. I told her – don’t stop saying this, because if she didn’t stop – I wouldn’t stop, either.

I truly believe that Miss Wheatie now rests in peace, knowing that we will carry on the fight.

❀ JOE BIDEN DIDN’T WIN ❀

Likewise, Wheatie always felt that Vladimir Putin was a patriotic nationalist, much like American patriots, and that conflict with Russia is neither inevitable nor necessary. Thus, in lieu of flowers, may I suggest remembering “what would Wheatie say?”, the next time some neocon tries to whip up war hysteria, especially with Russia.

There is a Baha’i saying that I like, to the effect that “when a thought of war comes, oppose it with a stronger thought of peace.” I find this idea useful – so try thinking of Wheatie when the next warmonger starts rattling the saber within earshot. Wheatie will set them straight!

Thoughts and Prayers

Please feel free to share your reminiscences about Wheatietoo in the comments. Your prayers are most welcome, too!

Thank you all for your good thoughts and kindnesses toward Miss Wheatie while she was here with us. Your prayers and well-wishes at this time and in the future will be just as effective, I am certain.

A Reason For Joy

Today is a special day for joy, thanksgiving and praise to God.

Due to the efforts of the five sane members of the U.S. Supreme Court, millions of babies may be spared from dismemberment on bloody sacrificial altars in baby mills throughout our country, denying the disgusting devil’s servants who run these baby mills both their prey and their profit. The procedures used by the butchers in these baby mills are truly barbaric and sickening in the extreme . . . clearly the devil’s handiwork. Shutting down a large number of them is unquestionably a compelling reason for celebration.

A Song of Praise for the Lord’s Faithfulness to His People

Psalm 100 – A Psalm of Thanksgiving.

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, [a]all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and [b]not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

Shout joyfully to the LORD (100:1). The term “joyfully” doesn’t appear in the Hebrew. Literally rendered, it’s “Shout to the Lord!” The word “shout” comes from a Hebrew word meaning “to raise a noise, to give a blast (as on a trumpet).” The composer calls for the kind of shouting that erupts from a person so full of joy he can’t contain his emotions, the kind of uninhibited whooping you hear from fans at a football game. He says, in effect, “Shout in joyful approval of God!”

It’s hard to imagine feeling that joyful about the Lord, isn’t it? Let’s face it; when’s the last time you shouted like a sports fan because of something you read in Scripture? When have you ever pumped your fists and shouted after a sermon on God’s attributes? I’m not suggesting we become charismatic; but certainly we should feel some excitement, at least a little joy. Sometimes the Lord does things that defy natural explanation, accomplishing something completely beyond our capabilities. When He comes to our rescue, don’t accept this silently. Shout to Him. Lift up your voice in praise! By doing so, we counteract that grind of ingratitude that so easily can climb aboard.

Serve the LORD with gladness (100:2). A healthy sign of the grateful life is serving. Few decisions are more effective in easing the daily grind of ingratitude than serving others. In doing God’s work, we serve Him, not the local church, not the superintendent of some department, not the pastor or some board. We serve the Lord. It is He we worship and for Him we labor—not people! And please observe that the motivation is neither grudging nor guilt-ridden; we are urged to serve “with gladness.” The Hebrew term for this phrase was used to describe pleasant things that gave happiness.

Now let’s get real for a moment. You don’t always feel like serving. Yet waiting until you feel grateful isn’t a good plan; you’ll never serve! The psalm doesn’t imply we should serve only when our hearts are filled with joy. On the contrary, we are commanded to serve regardless; gladness will soon follow. In fact, when I start feeling sorry for myself or my attitude takes a cynical turn, I know it’s time to serve someone who’s in worse shape. It’s not long before gladness pushes negativity out of my heart.

Come before Him with joyful singing (100:2). Let me simply emphasize the word “joyful.” I get the picture that God prefers to have us be happy people, rejoicing in His presence, for He has mentioned it in each line of this psalm thus far.

Are you joyful? Really now, is your face pleasant—is a smile frequently there? Do your eyes reveal a joyful spirit within? When you sing in church, for example, is it with joy? The next chance you get, glance at the people around you. Are they smiling? Look at the people ahead of you or behind you. Any smiles . . . any joy?

It’s time to lighten up! After all, joy is a choice. Dress up your testimony with a genuine spirit of joy! It does the heart good and it’s truly contagious.

Joy is a choice. A genuine spirit of joy does the heart good and it’s truly contagious.
— Charles R. Swindoll

What to think about when . . .

Everything around you seems to be going wrong . . .
We know that God makes all things work together for good for those who love him and who are called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:28

We see people trying to get ahead by lying and cheating . . .
In their hearts human beings plan their lives, but the Lord decides where their steps will take them.  Proverbs 16:9

We’re thinking our future looks pretty dismal . . .
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him. 1 Cor 2:9

We see those liars and cheaters acting like rich aristocrats above the law . . .
Wait for the Lord and keep to his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on the destruction of the wicked. Psalm 37:34

We feel all the troubles of the world on our shoulders . . .
But not only that, let us also rejoice in our troubles; because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope; and this hope does not let us down, because God’s love for us has already been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.  Romans 5:3-5

Every day seems just part of a long, grinding existence . . .
The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.  Psalm 118:22-24

We see the world literally going to hell . . .
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Colossians 3:2-4

We see traitors trying to take over our country . . .
God wins!

About Save America

Over the past four years, President Donald Trump’s administration delivered for Americans of all backgrounds like never before. Save America is about building on those accomplishments, supporting the brave conservatives who will define the future of the America First Movement, the future of our party, and the future of our beloved country.  Save America is also about ensuring that we always keep America First, in our foreign and domestic policy.  We take pride in our country, we teach the truth about our history, we celebrate our rich heritage and national traditions, and of course, we respect our great American Flag.

  • We are committed to defending innocent life and to upholding the Judeo-Christian values of our founding.
  • We believe in the promise of the Declaration of Independence, that we are all made EQUAL by our Creator, and that must all be TREATED equal under the law.
  • We know that our rights do not come from government, they come from God, and no earthly force can ever take those rights away. That includes the right to religious liberty and the right to Keep and Bear Arms.
  • We believe in rebuilding our previously depleted military and ending the endless wars our failed politicians of the past got us into for decades.
  • We embrace free thought, we welcome robust debate, and we are not afraid to stand up to the oppressive dictates of political correctness.
  • We know that the rule of law is the ultimate safeguard of our freedoms, and we affirm that the Constitution means exactly what it says AS WRITTEN.
  • We support fair trade, low taxes, and fewer job-killing regulations, and we know that America must always have the most powerful military on the face of the Earth.
  • We believe in Law and Order, and we believe that the men and women of law enforcement are HEROES who deserve our absolute support.
  • We believe in FREE SPEECH and Fair Elections.  We must ensure fair, honest, transparent, and secure elections going forward – where every LEGAL VOTE counts.

2022·06·25 Joe Biden Didn’t Win Daily Thread

The Chinese Should Think Before Wiping Us Out As Sometimes They Need Us To Solve Their Problems For Them

Okay you knuckledragging ChiComs trying to take us down…here’s a history lesson for you.

For millennia, you had to suffer from this:

Yep. Steppe Nomads. They laid waste to your country, burned, raped and pillaged (but not in that order–they’re smarter than you are) for century after century.

You know who figured out how to take them on and win? The Russians.

Not you, the Russians. And it took them less than two centuries. And Oh By The Way they were among the most backward cultures in Europe at the time.

You couldn’t invent an alphabet, you couldn’t take care of barbarians on horseback, and you think you can take this board down?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! We’re laughing at you, you knuckledragging dehumanized communists…worshipers of a mass-murderer who killed sixty million people!

I mean, you still think Communism is a good idea even after having lived through it!

By my reckoning that makes you orders of magnitude more stupid than AOC, and that takes serious effort.

His Fraudulency

Joe Biteme, properly styled His Fraudulency, continues to infest the White House, and hopium is still being dispensed even as our military appears to have joined the political establishment in knuckling under to the fraud.

One can hope that all is not as it seems.

I’d love to feast on that crow.

“No Chemicals”

A detailed analysis of the contents of His Fraudulency’s skull was performed.

Absolutely no chemicals found!

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Roe v. Wade is Toast

Whatever you feel about abortion per se, however important it might be, the import of this decision extends far beyond it. For it is a re-affirmation of the basic principles of federalism, which have been severely eroded since…oh…well, you can draw that line anywhere you want in American history. FDR? Wilson? The other Roosevelt? Lincoln? For that matter, the Constitution itself centralized power that had previously been scattered, so maybe the trend has been on since 1787. But this was a major, blatantly visible step in the opposite direction. Abortion is now left to the states, and the opinion explains that that is the way it used to be.

Let’s see if that trend continues.

Small Government?

Many times conservatives (real and fake) speak of “small government” being the goal.

This sounds good, and mostly is good, but it misses the essential point. The important thing here isn’t the size, but rather the purpose, of government. We could have a cheap, small tyranny. After all our government spends most of its revenue on payments to individuals and foreign aid, neither of which is part of the tyrannical apparatus trying to keep us locked down and censored. What parts of the government would be necessary for a tyranny? It’d be a lot smaller than what we have now. We could shrink the government and nevertheless find it more tyrannical than it is today.

No, what we want is a limited government, limited not in size, but rather in scope. Limited, that is, in what it’s allowed to do. Under current circumstances, such a government would also be much smaller, but that’s a side effect. If we were in a World War II sort of war, an existential fight against nasty dictatorships on the brink of world conquest, that would be very expensive and would require a gargantuan government, but that would be what the government should be doing. That would be a large, but still limited government, since it’d be working to protect our rights.

World War II would have been the wrong time to squawk about “small government,” but it wasn’t (and never is) a bad time to demand limited government. Today would be a better time to ask for a small government–at least the job it should be doing is small today–but it misses the essential point; we want government to not do certain things. Many of those things we don’t want it doing are expensive but many of them are quite eminently doable by a smaller government than the one we have today. Small, but still exceeding proper limits.

So be careful what you ask for. You might get it and find you asked for the wrong thing.

Political Science In Summation

It’s really just a matter of people who can’t be happy unless they control others…versus those who want to be left alone. The oldest conflict within mankind. Government is necessary, but government attracts the assholes (a highly technical term for the control freaks).

James Webb Space Telescope Update

They’ve now checked off ten (no, twelve–they added two on Friday!) out of 17 (heh) instrument mode boxes on JWST. And four of these are all on one sensor, NIRISS, and that one sensor is done.

NASA has announced an event on the 12th of July, where they will be release the first “real” color images. (These will no doubt be “false color” since most of the light JWST sees, is light we cannot see because the frequency is too low–analogous to sound pitches only dogs can hear, because the pitch is too high. In fact the famous Pillars of Creation from Hubble is also false color.)

There will even be local gatherings you can go to, for example two in Denver suburbs, one in Boulder, and one in Pueblo (surprisingly, though, none in Colorado Springs, even though we have a space symposium here frequently).

NASA Invites Media, Public to View Webb Telescope’s First Images | NASA

We’ve already seen hints of what it can do, for instance imaging the LMC far more sharply than the old, short-lived infrared Spitzer Space Telescope could do.

This is where it gets interesting, but very slow-paced. We might not see news from JWST for months at a time but be assured scientists will be using it. And the headline will likely not even mention the telescope at all but instead describe what they discovered using the telescope.

So, I’ll have to hunt for something else Joe Biden hasn’t managed to fuck up (I can only conclude he’s unaware of JWST or he’d have fucked it up), to highlight here every week.

T6 Entropy Understood, Or Why I Inflicted Combinatorics On You In Part 4

But first, a couple of go-backs.

One way people like to bring up the kinetic theory of gases is to ask a stupid-sounding question that isn’t really stupid.

Why doesn’t the air fall down?

That’s on the same level as “why is the nighttime sky dark” which isn’t as obvious as it seems.

Gases are individual atoms free to move about, and spaced far apart. So why don’t those atoms just fall to the ground and roll around like marbles on a floor? In the case of the air, why isn’t there just an 14.7 pounds of nitrogen and oxygen (and a few other things) lying around on every single square inch of Earth’s surface on average? (Up in the mountains this pile of small marbles would no doubt have rolled down hill and left the ground bare, which is why I used the word average.)

Well, something like that would resemble a liquid, not a gas, and that’s our clue. The question “why doesn’t the air fall down,” it turns out, is equivalent to asking why air is a gas.

As we saw last time a gas is full of widely spaced particles, moving around at random, slamming into each other and their surroundings; it’s all that kinetic energy being transferred in differing amounts with every collision that keeps the air from falling. If there’s less kinetic energy on average, the air molecules are, on average closer to each other because they’re not bumping into each other as hard.

The sorts of diagrams I showed last time (which was five weeks ago) with gas molecules ping ponging off each other (you know like this one:)

make the point fairly well. Imagine if the top wall of that box were free to slide downward; all of those dots hitting it would tend to push it up against gravity…that’s what pressure is, at a fundamental level.

But in the real world, with say pool balls on a pool table after a break, the little balls slow down and come to a stop eventually. And this is true; gases are part of the real world. But what this diagram doesn’t show you is that the edges of the box are also made of molecules, and though they aren’t moving freely, they’re vibrating in place, transferring energy back to the gas as often as the gas loses energy to the walls. At least it’s “as often” if the gas and the walls’ molecules all have roughly the same kinetic energy…which we learned last time is equivalent to saying “if they’re at the same temperature.”

Speaking of those billiard balls, you’ve no doubt at some time seen movies run backwards. You’ll see people walking backwards, eating backwards, and so on. And maybe you’ve seen a pool break backwards, with all the balls coming back together into that nice triangular array and “spitting out” the cue ball.

You can carefully analyze each collision you see in that backwards-pool-break, and see that they all follow Newton’s laws–all that stuff about elastic collisions–perfectly. (See Part 2 of the original physics series: https://www.theqtree.com/2021/05/08/2021%c2%b705%c2%b708-joe-biden-didnt-win-daily-thread/ )

Newton’s laws behave the same whether you’re looking at them in forward motion, or backwards motion.

If they didn’t, you’d be able to measure what’s going on in a clip and be able to tell whether the clip is running backwards or forwards, right?

But then, you can tell that anyway. Why?

With the billiard balls, you simply won’t ever see sixteen billiard balls moving around at random suddenly come together with 15 in a triangle and one–the only one that happens to be all white–shooting off to the other side of the table.

Even though it’s perfectly “legal” by physical law for them to do so.

It’s fifteen times more likely that they’d come together and one of the fifteen balls other than the cueball goes shooting to the other end of the table, and yet you’ll never see that happen, either.

You can tell which direction is “forward in time” versus “backward in time” just by watching what happens, even though both sequences follow the same physical laws.

This is actually pretty profound. And when you dig deeper, it turns out that the “forward” view shows entropy increasing, and the “backward” view shows it going down, and so what we see is that “wrong looking” backwards-playing tape is wrong-looking because it’s violating the second law of thermodynamics.

I’ll spend the rest of this expanding on that, trying to justify it. After all entropy is just this thing I tried, in vain, to explain satisfactorily when I was talking about hot gases (not necessarily emitted by politicians) a few essays ago.

Now I’m saying you can see it at the billiards table.

Imagine, if you will, a chamber like the one in the GIF above. But imagine there’s an adjacent, empty chamber to the right of the first chamber, the same size as the first. The gas should stay in the first chamber, yes? And the second chamber should remain empty.

Until, of course, you drill a little hole in the wall. Not too little, though…you want the gas molecules to be able to pass through.

The first molecule through the hole will travel left to right, of course, since all the molecules are on the left side of the wall. And if this is a real situation, many more will do the same because there are billions of billions (not billions and billions, Doctor Sagan; billions of billions) of molecules. And the odds are one of them will hit the opening in the wall before one of the few that have made it into the right hand chamber does so.

So the flow of these little gas molecules is left to right, predominantly, Eventually there’s about an equal amount on both sides, and the flow is two way.

But you will not ever see all of the molecules on the same side of the wall, or even 60 percent of them or even 51.1 percent of them on one side, once it has had a chance to even out…or as scientists say it, to reach equilibrium.

They’re all bouncing around effectively at random, but they’ll split 50/50 on both sides of that wall.

You don’t even need the wall. Let’s say it’s one big chamber. What are the odds, at any given moment, that the gas molecules will all be on the same side of the room?

Not quite zero…but so low that you can bet your life and the life of everyone else on Earth that it won’t happen ever even if the room lasts a trillion trillion years.

Because this situation is exactly like the situation of tossing a billion billion coins all at the same time and having them all come up heads. Or all come up tails. Each gas molecule has a 50 percent chance of being in the left side of the room rather than the right, each coin has a 50 percent chance of coming up heads, rather than tails.

And we saw two installments back how unlikely that is for just a hundred coins…much less 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 of them (and that would be a very small sample of gas; to get up to a gram of it you’d need over ten million times as much as even that ridiculous number).

[And no, the Federal Debt hasn’t gotten that high yet; it only has thirteen zeroes in it officially, fourteen unofficially. But not for lack of trying.]

Combinatorics can be used to count the different configurations of things like coins or molecules, and it’s very closely related to another branch of mathematics called probability. Combinatorics, however, doesn’t consider the possibility that some states might be more likely than others; it simply will tell you how many configurations there are of 48 heads and 52 tails.

Probability can tell you the likelihood of it being 48/52–that’s the number of configurations like that, divided by the number of all possible configurations. But it can do a lot more; it can even adjust for situations where the coins are all weighted, say to come up heads 60 percent of the time. But that doesn’t concern us here.

The point is that if things are reasonably random, the evenly spread out state is vastly more likely than the state with everything clustered together.

The single state where the billiard balls are in a triangle is MUCH less likely than the multitude of states where they’re scattered around the table, and that is because there are so many more such possible states. So if you see a scattered state become a “in a nice triangle” state just watching the billiards bounce around, you’ve either seen something inconceivably unlikely…or you’re watching a movie running backwards.

So as it turns out that there is a statistical way to think about entropy, and that is the tendency of a system full of random components to go to a state that’s basically equivalent to a lot of other states. (That’s my wretched phrasing, don’t use it on a thermodynamics exam.) With the coins, you’re going to see about 50 coins out of a hundred come up heads…and it doesn’t matter which fifty it is; the important thing is the proportion of heads to tails. 50-50 or 48-52 or something like that is vastly more likely than 100 to 0 or 0-100, and so that is what you see. Likewise with gas moving around a volume.

And this is why heat flows hot to cold. A hot item has a high kinetic energy per particle; put it in contact with a colder object and some of the high-energy particles of the hot item will transfer their energy to colder particles in the other object. Over time the kinetic energy will come to be average everywhere; the cold object has warmed up, the hot item has cooled off.

There’s a lot of pop-science and even some geeky corners pop culture regarding entropy. A picture of a child’s messy bedroom and a quip about entropy, for instance. Or calling it a progression from “order” to “disorder.” Well, that’s an evaluation, that 100-0 head/tails on a bunch of coins is “orderly” where half and half is not–by whose standards? I don’t call it a progression from order to disorder.

And of course entropy can be reversed, locally, but only by paying for it with more entropy elsewhere. The kid can clean his room, or you can painstakingly turn all the coins so they show heads. But these activities take energy and total entropy of you (or the kid) and the coins (or the clutter) still goes up, because you (or the kid) burned energy tidying up.

There’s a famous thought experiment called “Maxwell’s Demon.” And yes, it’s the James Clerk Maxwell I wrote about at length when talking about electromagnetism; he also did good work in thermodynamics–good but it pales by comparison with his EM work.

He said, imagine a device that sits near the opening between the two chambers in the example above. If a fast molecule approaches, it’s shunted (or bounced back) into the left chamber. A slow one is bounced back (or shunted) into the right hand chamber.

With this device, you’d eventually see the left chamber heat up (because it has all the high kinetic energy molecules) and the right one cool down.

This looks like a way to reverse entropy, and that device is usually called “Maxwell’s Demon.”

However, it turns out that the demon would require energy to function, and so it’d be just as much of an energy hog as an air conditioner. And it’s basically doing the same thing, except that the AC unit moves the energy out, not the particles with the energy.

This becomes plain when you treat the subject with mathematical rigor…which I don’t have time to do, so you guys all lucked out.

But now you hopefully understand the physical basis of this slippery thing called “entropy.”

It’s this sort of thought process that became known as “statistical mechanics” during the late 19th century, and Max Planck, when he began the quantum revolution, did a similar sort of thing and he, like many others, was deeply suspicious of it…but it worked. So he had to accept it.

And that brings this “T” miniseries to a close.

On Thursday, despite previous disappointments, President Trump’s Supreme Court picks came through big time.

Supreme Court Rejects New York Special Need Limitation on Carrying a Firearm, Affirms Inherent Right to Carry

Oops. The Senate is busy trying to restrict the second amendment with red flag laws and Justice Clarence Thomas as well as Alito, Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Coney-Barrett all just confirmed it’s pretty bullet proof.

And then there was this:

Realization begins to dawn that the states are going to have to walk back a whole lot of restrictions.

The liberals aren’t taking this well at all.

The north side of my hometown really looks more like a war zone, but yes.

https://twitter.com/PapiTrumpo/status/1540025543382425602

Second place for the Trump picks came through big time:

That should be a no brainer.

And the third is a victory for states’ rights in addition to election integrity:

Supreme Court Says North Carolina Republicans Can Defend Photo ID Law In Court

The US. Supreme Court has ruled 8-1 that leaders of North Carolina’s Republican legislature can step in to advocate for a voter ID law in court that they believe the state’s Democratic attorney general isn’t fighting hard enough to defend.

Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor was the only one to dissent in the case, which has been closely watched given November’s crucial midterm elections are just months away.

“At the heart of this lawsuit lies a challenge to the constitutionality of a North Carolina election law. But the merits of that dispute are not before us, only an antecedent question of civil procedure: Are two leaders of North Carolina’s state legislature entitled to participate in the case under the terms of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure,” Gorsuch wrote in the opinion.

“Within wide constitutional bounds, States are free to structure themselves as they wish. Often, they choose to
conduct their affairs through a variety of branches, agencies, and elected and appointed officials. These constituent pieces sometimes work together to achieve shared goals; other times they reach very different judgments about important policy questions and act accordingly. This diffusion of governmental powers within and across institutions may be an everyday feature of American life. But it can also pose its difficulties when a State’s laws or policies are challenged in federal court,” he added.

HALLELUJAH!

Really, the left was not happy about three big defeats in one day.

It will be 50 times worse.

Let’s see…what tabs were open before all that happened….

THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF TWEETS: TWITTER IS HIRING AN ALARMING NUMBER OF FBI AGENTS

Twitter has been on a recruitment drive of late, hiring a host of former feds and spies. Studying a number of employment and recruitment websites, MintPress has ascertained that the social media giant has, in recent years, recruited dozens of individuals from the national security state to work in the fields of security, trust, safety and content.

Chief amongst these is the Federal Bureau of Investigations. The FBI is generally known as a domestic security and intelligence force. However, it has recently expanded its remit into cyberspace. “The FBI’s investigative authority is the broadest of all federal law enforcement agencies,” the “About” section of its website informs readers. “The FBI has divided its investigations into a number of programs, such as domestic and international terrorism, foreign counterintelligence [and] cyber crime,” it adds.

For example, in 2019, Dawn Burton (the former director of Washington operations for Lockheed Martin) was poached from her job as senior innovation advisor to the director at the FBI to become senior director of strategy and operations for legal, public policy, trust and safety at Twitter. The following year, Karen Walsh went straight from 21 years at the bureau to become director of corporate resilience at the silicon valley giant. Twitter’s deputy general counsel and vice president of legal, Jim Baker, also spent four years at the FBI between 2014 and 2018, where his resumé notes he rose to the role of senior strategic advisor.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Tucker Carlson Calls Out the Right Wing of the UniParty Vulture

The UniParty issue does not start in Washington DC, it surfaces in Washington DC.

The UniParty agenda, the origin of the crap that we see surface in a toxically corrupt federal government, starts IN YOUR STATE.

The UniParty is an outcome of the private organizations that run the political parties known as the RNC and DNC.  This is where almost all voters and political followers get lost.  The Republican and Democrat parties are not affiliated with any construct of the United States government.  They are private entities, private clubs, that can establish any set of rules and regulations for the people within the club/party.   That’s where the origin of the feces begins.

The club can accept or deny membership for any person who wants to run for political office.  The RNC and DNC clubs essentially select the politicians.  There is nothing within this process that is even remotely democratic, representative or even visible in the framework of the U.S. constitution.

Private corporations known as the RNC and DNC run the professional political apparatus, and from that origination all of the corruption in the body politic -as outlined in the visible UniParty agenda- surfaces.   Two clubs, both funded by Wall Street power brokers, globalists and ultra-rich mega-donors, select the members who will represent their interests in Washington DC.   That’s the root of the issue.

Some curious things on journalism popped up:

The media bubble is real: Study shows massive disconnect between journalists, public

To say there’s a disconnect between many journalists and the public they serve is a gross understatement, according to a new in-depth survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center.

Per Pew, 65 percent of the nearly 12,000 journalists surveyed say the media do a solid job of “covering the most important stories of the day” and reporting news accurately. But a solid majority of the American public at large has the opposite view, with just 35 percent feeling the same way. That’s a 30-point perception gap.

American journalism is just about done

I just came upon an article in the N.Y. Times, via RCP, about the attempts by evil conservatives to use the courts to block government efforts to limit the production of “greenhouse” gases.  It caught my attention because the author, Coral Davenport, appeared on PBS’s Washington Week some years ago.  She went on and on about how Florida would soon be submerged unless drastic measures were taken.  The moderator, the late Gwen Ifill, had to shut her up and move on to another topic.  Foam almost started dripping from her mouth.  And yet, she’s still cranking out this screed.

This did seem rather unusual until I remembered a much earlier event.  Before climate change was the global emergency du jour, there was a rebellious movement within the Sierra Club to consider uncontrolled immigration across our southern border as a serious environmental problem.  This was immensely controversial, considering the political correctness typical of the club’s rank and file.  The S.F. Chronicle then posted an op-ed by one of the club’s directors, who just happened to have a Hispanic surname.  In the piece, he claimed that immigration is not a problem, environmental or otherwise.  The real problem, he stated, is personal freedom.  He went so far as to say the environment is put in peril because we get to live where we want to live, work where we want to work, eat what we want to eat, and go where we want to go.

Hmmm.  Davenport’s article also stated that government needs to have more power over how we live.  And, going back to Washington Week, I had been a regular viewer for decades.  They had some real talent on the panel, such as David S. Broder, considered by many to be the dean of the Washington press corps.  Now they are moderated by Yamiche Alcindor, a total lightweight.  Once, when she was a panelist, she stated as fact that Republicans were opposed to the Affordable Care Act (AKA “Obamacare”) for no other reason than that Obama is Black.  There was then a moment of stunned silence among the other panelists.  Gee, economics, consumer sovereignty, patient modality, and other realities of medical practice might be of more significance.  I could take only the first five minutes of Yamiche’s stewardship of the show before changing my viewing habits.

Can’t say I disagree.

It looks like the Fed and the White House got their signals crossed.

Firebombed NY pregnancy center facing investigation — for not offering abortion services

While Jim Harden waits for those responsible for firebombing the pro-life CompassCare pregnancy center he runs in upstate New York to be brought to justice, he’s facing another, unexpected investigation — of the clinic itself.

One of several pro-abortion measures New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed into law on June 13 authorizes the state’s commissioner of health, currently Dr. Mary T. Bassett, to conduct an in-depth study of pro-life pregnancy centers like CompassCare that don’t provide abortion services.

The probe will assess the impact that so-called “limited service pregnancy centers” have on women’s access to “accurate, non-coercive health care information” and “a comprehensive range of reproductive and sexual health care services,” the legislation states. A final report is due in December 2023.

Harden, CompassCare’s CEO, told CNA that the state wants him to turn over information on CompassCare’s donors, patients, service processes, affiliates, and more. Meanwhile, no arrests have been made in the June 7 firebombing and vandalism of the clinic, located in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst, New York.

Wow.

More Russia stuff from BioClandestine:

Russian Media Blackout

This might seem strange to many Americans, since you all have been conditioned to immediately assume Russian media is “taboo” or “Russian disinformation”. I see it as the other side of the argument.

There’s a pretty serious situation going on here. 2 global superpowers are accusing the 3rd superpower of creating and unleashing biological weapons on the planet. And with how many times US MSM got caught blatantly lying to us about what was going on in Ukraine, they can’t really blame us for seeking other avenues for truth.

Also, I knew something was up when the Deep State and all of their subservient entities started banning RT, and all other Russian news outlets from their platforms. Big tech, social media, MSM, all of them have banned Russian news outlets, and will flag them as “disinformation”. And the record shows when these entities ban something this heavily, it normally turns out to be true.

This is an equation we are all trying to solve, and we can’t solve it without all of the variables. The Deep State DESPERATELY doesn’t want you to have access to Russian media, because that supplies you with the missing variable(s) to solve the equation. The solution to the equation is that the Deep State created C19, and a laundry list of other pathogens, and unleashed them on the world.

⚠️Russian Military Accuses CNN of Staging False Flags with Azov Nazi Battalion⚠️

Russian MIL are reporting they have intelligence that shows “two reporters from CNN news channel escorted by 10 servicemen of Azov nationalist battalion have arrived in Odessa for recording prepared terrorist attacks on civilian facilities in order to accuse Russia of using prohibited methods of warfare. We warn the so-called civilised West in advance that the abovementioned and other provocations by the Ukrainian authorities about the ‘atrocities of the Russians’ are soon to be widely circulated through the Western media and in various resources of the Internet.”

It’s fine. Just CNN working with Nazis in Ukraine to film a planned terrorist attack and blame it on Russia, to cover up for their Deep State overlords who got caught making bioweapons in Ukraine. Nothing to see here folks.

Finding our Way Through a Wilderness of Mirrors

With the Biden administration we are truly in a wilderness of curved mirrors, where people don’t trust what they see and what government says. The people behind Joe Biden don’t even try to hide the fact that their agenda constitutes what many feel is nothing short of betrayal — a government against the people.

We are passing through a time when the elite of our society call right, wrong and wrong, right, and when evil is called good and good is called evil.

What Changes a Culture?
Free Money Is Dangerous

We can break the computer algorithms destroying critical thinking

In the past twenty years and, with accelerating speed in the past ten years, computer algorithms determine what information Americans receive and even dictate how they should respond to that information. There is an ancient method of analyzing information that allows people to see and understand all sides of an issue. It’s practiced in Yeshivas (traditional Jewish education schools that focus on Biblical and religious texts) but can be applied anywhere. American cultural and political discourse would improve greatly if it were added to American education.

I recommend a Netflix special production, The Social Dilemmato everyone I meet—friends, relatives, shopkeepers, and even strangers. Although understated in tone, the movie is hard-hitting as it exposes the business model companies such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Instagram use to affect our thinking. The documentary’s conclusion is that computer algorithms have learned—on their own—how to reward humans to increase the amount of attention they pay to their devices. Then, the information technology companies sell the accumulated increased attention to advertisers in an auction-like process. Each person’s attention-increase is worth a few cents. These cents add up, making these giants the richest companies that have ever existed.

What the algorithms have learned is to feed back to people the same ideas with which they have already felt comfortable. Anything contradicting their present belief systems is blocked because it would reduce or end their attention and, thus, lower their monetary worth both to those who control the search engines and the advertisers who buy that “attention.” Truth has no bearing on the information that the systems provide to each person. Each person gets exactly what he feels at home with. Ideas are only of value if they increase attention; never for their contents.

EZEKIEL 34:11-16

11“For thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeks out his flock when some of his sheep have been scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. 13And I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the fountains, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14I will feed them with good pasture, and upon the mountain heights of Israel shall be their pasture; there they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on fat pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel. 15I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will make them lie down, says the Lord GOD. 16I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the crippled, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will watch over; I will feed them in justice.

LUKE 15:3-7

3So he told them this parable: 4“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? 5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, `Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.’ 7Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Guess I’ll need to go to the movies:

DEAR MAGA: Open Thread 20220623

Limbering up before diving into this one.

https://twitter.com/Yoda4ever/status/1538876824888872960

There’s so much stuff, I’m starting early.

Just to clear the tabs, we start with the Jan 6 stuff:

Donald Trump Has Demanded Equal Time With the J6 Committee…

And They May Have To Give It To Him…

For going on 17 long months now, a fake narrative has been furiously pushed on the country by people desperate to deny and to hide the facts about the 2020 Presidential election having been rigged and stolen.

This fake cover narrative is that President Donald J. Trump inspired, whipped up and then unleashed an insurrection at the Capitol Building in Washington DC on January 6 in an illegal and treasonous attempt to stop the count of the electoral votes by the United States Congress.

Of course, because this is a fake narrative, that’s not really what happened, as anybody who’s even done rudimentary research in to the basic facts could tell you.

Why, the facts about January 6’s timeline are now so incontrovertible that even Rachel Maddow – RACHEL…MADDOW! – had to admit on the air that Donald Trump was still speaking at the Ellipse on the National Mall when the assault on the Capitol Building began.

After writing his stupendous 12 page letter to the nation in which he laid out the case he wants to make, Donald Trump has now very loudly and very publicly begun to demand equal time via the very same Fake News Media outlets that have been devoting countless hours to the J6 Committee’s hearings.

That sounds comical when you first hear it, right? There’s no way the Fake Corporate News Media would **ever** grant Donald J. Trump equal time, right?

Well…not so fast! Who said they had to do this **willingly**?

Karma Patriot” is an excellent researcher that I have encountered on Telegram who has shared her findings with me and many others at We The Media.

She pointed out that both Donald J. Trump – with an Executive Order< seemed to have prepared the ground for demanding equal time with the J6 Committee.

You can read about the EO Trump signed here. And read the full text of the EO here.

You can read the letter that Barr sent to then-Vice President Mike Pence on the proposed Section 230 reform here.

You can see all the proposed reforms that then-Attorney General William Barr proposed for Section 230 detailed in red lettering – by going here.

Is this all part of a show? Were law enforcement sorts lured into a trap at the same time?

JUST IN: New Metro DC Police Report Confirms Plainclothes “Electronic Surveillance Unit” Operatives Were Embedded in the Crowd on Jan. 6 to Record Protesters – Used Rainbow Color Wristbands to Identify Each Other

A new police report that was exclusively obtained by The Epoch Times has proved that “plainclothes” members of a special law enforcement Electronic Surveillance Unit (ESU) were secretly embedded among protesters for the purposes of conducting video surveillance on January 6th.

The newly uncovered report, titled First Amendment Demonstrations, was issued on Jan. 3, 2021, by DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Chief of Police Robert Contee under the Homeland Security Bureau’s Special Operations Division. It detailed the MPD’s response to the planned MAGA protest, which included specifics about covert operations that occurred on and leading up to January 6th.

According to the never-before-seen report, the MPD began its preparations by activating Civil Disturbance Unit (CDU) platoons, which are specially trained groups of officers (K-9 unit, Air Support, etc.) who respond to “protests, demonstrations, and civil disturbances,” on Jan. 4, 2021, with the full activation of 28 of these platoons scheduled to occur over the next two days. Despite not being listed as one of the 37 CDU platoons on MPD’s roster, the Electronic Surveillance Unit was also activated to work the crowd covertly during the protest.

Included in this group were an unknown number of “plainclothes” MPD CDU “members” who were embedded into the crowd and tasked with “document(ing) the actions of the demonstrators and MPD’s response to any civil disobedience or criminal activity,” the First Amendment Demonstrations report revealed.

In order for other law enforcement personnel to recognize the undercover ESU members, they were given a rainbow-colored “bracelet” to wear “on their left wrist” for easy identification.

There’s a lot more at the link that’s disturbing on a number of levels.

To the J6 Committee: Please, Spare Me Your ‘Insurrection’ Hysteria

It has been over a week now. The Democrat Party and their allies in the mainstream media have tried to distract, deflect, and abstain from truthfully reporting the national disaster that is the Biden administration. Their primetime hearing about the January 6, 2021, breach, trespassing, and riot at the U.S. Capitol has been a crass political maneuver and a distraction. The double standards are glaringly obvious. The editing of video and testimony to hide exculpatory evidence, and the one-sided, Stalinist hearings will not improve our lives or solve the myriad problems the Biden regime has created.

Please y’all, just spare me.

If there was sufficient evidence of criminality to indict the former president, it would have been done already. Your kangaroo court and political theater are not going to alter anyone’s opinion. A plurality of media punditry is predictably on your side of the issue but the majority of the American people oppose the manufactured drama. The Trump haters I know are still Trump haters; the Trump supporters I know are still Trump supporters. Neither the mainstream media, nor the deep state, nor the Democrat Party elected in Washington will ever destroy President Trump’s appeal to his supporters because none of you had a part in contributing to his success.

You didn’t make him so you can’t destroy him, no matter what you do.

Trump Knew Putin Would Uproot DNC Corruption in Ukraine

Holy shit… Trump knew Putin was going to move into Ukraine years ahead of time… Trump and Putin 100% have an alliance.

Let’s look back on this wild exchange from 09/25/2019. It’s making a lot more sense as to what Trump was talking about 2 years ago pertaining to the “corruption” in Ukraine.

Pay attention to Zelensky’s body language while Trump talks about Putin “solving Ukraine’s problem”, in reference to the deep state and DNC corruption in Ukraine.

Zelensky looks like he’s seen a ghost. If you watch the whole interview, he is squirming the ENTIRE time. Very uncomfortable display of body language. It’s so obvious, even the MSM widely reported on how awkward it was.

Now that we know Zelensky was engaged in covering up Ukrainian State involvement in the Deep State biolabs, (see decree to burn Metabiota State docs), we can understand

WHY he looked petrified.

Russia’s Foreign Policy Focused on US Biological Network

Russian Security Council Secretary Chair Nikolai Patrushev, in a meeting on 06/17/22, with the Collective Security Treaty Organization, made some rather significant remarks pertaining to the US biological network in Ukraine.

“During the operation, our suspicions were confirmed that Ukraine became a base for Washington’s military biological programs. Such US projects require particular attention of the civilized world because the Americans were the only ones who didn’t join the protocol on mutual control within the framework of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention.”

“The accumulation of new facts on criminal breaches of international laws by the US and Ukraine continues on a persistent basis.”

Russia’s Special Military operation also “defended the Donbass population from genocide by the Kiev regime, performing the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine and prosecuting war criminals responsible for brutal crimes against civilians”.

Now, what Patrushev said isn’t anything new to us who have been paying attention, but it does confirm that these extremely volatile and consequential accusations are not going to simply go away.

Follow up:

From HotAir:

Alaska Airlines CEO Ben Minicucci reported last month that it was experiencing daily cancelations due to pilot shortages. JetBlue and United Airlines are making adjustments, too.

The carrier had been having operational challenges since April due to not having enough pilots to fly its spring schedule, Minicucci said in a note to customers last month.

Of its 1,200 daily flights, it’s been canceling about 50 of them, Minicucci said.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, JetBlue said it was forced to reduce flights throughout the summer due to staffing issues.

At the start of 2022, United Airlines announced the start of its training program. United projected that the academy will train around 5,000 new pilots by 2030 — fulfilling half of its plan to recruit 10,000 new pilots in that time to combat the shortage.

What does all this mean? It means that airlines are cutting schedules but airline pilots are seeing salary increases and bonuses. Airlines have never really caught up since travel demands started to increase in the second half of 2021 when the pandemic began to wane and restrictions and mandates began to ease.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) expects the North America region to recover more quickly than other regions of the world. It forecast on March 1, 2022 that passenger numbers will reach 94% of 2019 levels in 2022, with full recovery expected in 2023.

“After a resilient 2021, traffic to/from/within North America will continue to perform strongly in 2022 as the US domestic market returns to pre-crisis trends, and with ongoing improvements in international travel,” IATA predicted.

When Christmas holiday travel went sideways, airlines blamed the delays and cancelations on severe weather and staffing shortages. Some airlines are forming partnerships with flight schools. Some are operating their own. It all takes time, though, and in the meantime, expect to pay more for tickets and to deal with overbooked flights.

United Airlines chief executive Scott Kirby blames the pilot shortage not on pay and benefits but on the time and expense involved in training. Regional airlines feel the shortages the most. Most pilots begin their career with regional airlines and then move on to mainline carriers.

“At United, we’re convinced that the root of the problem is that it costs over $100,000 and takes five or more years to obtain all the training to become eligible to fly for a major airline,” Kirby wrote. “A commercial pilot’s journey is technically complex, building hours and obtaining certificates in a process that is difficult to navigate without experienced support.”

While regional carriers usually plan for this movement, the early retirements at major carriers during the pandemic, plus the faster than expected recovery, means that airlines like Skywest are losing their captains to the majors much more quickly than expected.

It’s expensive to become a pilot. And the guys who were fighter pilots in the Cold War and the Gulf Wars are now closing in on the mandatory age of retirement at sixty-five.

It’s not going to get better any time soon.

MATTHEW 10:34-39

34“Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36and a man’s foes will be those of his own household. 37He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; 38and he who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.

ISAIAH 49:1-6

1Listen to me, O coastlands, and hearken, you peoples from afar. The LORD called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name. 2He made my mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow, in his quiver he hid me away. 3And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.” 4But I said, “I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my right is with the LORD, and my recompense with my God.” 5And now the LORD says, who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him, and that Israel might be gathered to him, for I am honored in the eyes of the LORD, and my God has become my strength — 6he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel; I will give you as a light to the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

When engineers just don’t grow up.

Dear KAG: 20220622 Open Thread

I don’t know what the weather is like where you are, but it’s hot out there. 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

Okay, let’s see, what have we got.

It seems that the Supreme Court is going to draw out the drama on the Dobbs decision and potential overturning of Roe v Wade until the very last moment (possibly so they can all get out of dodge before the women who really need the services of a man, but won’t admit it or get it, get on with burning the place down), but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t anything out there on abortion.

An Open Letter to Pro-Abortion Advocates

Since Roe v. Wade, almost one in four American women has had an abortion. African Americans account for 38% of all abortions – almost three times their percentage of the population. (Some might call it genocide.) That’s what Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger planned all along. Sanger was a eugenicist who wanted fewer Americans of color. How proud it must make to you feel to know you’re helping her in that noble undertaking.

Regarding your alleged protests, free speech does not include:

  • Firebombing and vandalizing pregnancy resource center, whose only goal is to help women to keep their children. Do you want every pregnancy to end in abortion?
  • Picketing in front of the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices, banging drums and screaming through loudspeakers.
  • Disrupting church services. In one case, demonstrators stripped to their underwear – and they weren’t even attractive.
  • Threatening to kill your opponents. (“If abortion isn’t safe, you won’t be either.”)
  • Inciting an attempted assassination.

None of this should come as a surprise. You’re using violence in the streets to defend violence in the womb.

Here’s a news flash: You’re going to lose. Reason and morality are both on our side.

Everything pro-lifers predicted has come to pass – including infanticide, euthanasia, gender-selection abortions and the commercial use of fetal tissue.

And interestingly enough, to protect women around the abortion debate, Senator Elizabeth Warren introduced legislation to make the sale of geolocation data illegal.

Warren Unveils Bill to Ban Sales of Health Data With “Roe” Overturn Looming

The Health and Location Data Protection Act would ban data firms from selling individuals’ health and location data, which Warren and fellow bill introducers say endangers not only the safety of abortion clinic visitors but also the safety of all Americans who may be unwittingly subject to surveillance. The Federal Trade Commission, state attorneys general and people whose data has been sold would be able to sue firms if they’re found to be in violation of the law.

The bill, which is cosponsored by fellow Democrats like Senators Ron Wyden (Oregon) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), would be among the strictest regulations on consumer data collection and sales — an industry estimated to be worth $200 billion.

“Data brokers profit from the location data of millions of people, posing serious risks to Americans everywhere by selling their most private information,” Warren said in a statement. “With this extremist Supreme Court poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and states seeking to criminalize essential health care, it is more crucial than ever for Congress to protect consumers’ sensitive data.”…

Data and privacy experts have endorsed the bill, emphasizing that the largely unregulated data sale industry poses risks to everyone.

“Health and location data are incredibly sensitive and can be used for a range of harms, from profiling and exploiting consumers to spying on citizens without warrants to carrying out stalking and violence,” Justin Sherman, research lead of Duke University’s Data Brokerage Project, said in a statement. “Companies should not be allowed to freely buy and sell Americans’ health and location data, on the open market, with virtually no restrictions.”

Uh-huh. This wouldn’t have anything to do with the timing of such a bill, would it? h/t Gail

https://youtu.be/iYCkkuO3mrc

But that’s not all on abortion:

Democrats are demanding Google ban search results for crisis pregnancy centers so women will feel they have no options but abortion.

In a letter addressed to Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai on June 17, Democrats such as Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Richard Blumenthal, Dianne Feinstein, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Bernie Sanders smeared life-affirming pregnancy centers, many of which offer free or discounted pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and other care to women in need, as “fake clinics” that don’t deserve a spot in Google’s top results.

The Democrats parroted data from the foreign dark-money group The Center for Countering Digital Hate which recently claimed that 11 percent of search engine results for queries such as “abortion near me” and “abortion pill” in at least 13 states where abortion will be effectively banned if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade redirected users to pregnancy centers. The same CCDH report allegedly found that 37 percent of Google Maps searches also ended at pro-life care clinics.

In the letter, Democrat signatories argue that these kinds of search engine results are “misleading” and could direct women to organizations that encourage and help them keep their babies alive.

“Directing women towards fake clinics that traffic in misinformation and don’t provide comprehensive health services is dangerous to women’s health and undermines the integrity of Google’s search results,” the letter states.

And no word on the destruction of these facilities by militants from the MSM, either.

As Catturd said, she seems nice.

About 2000 Mules having legs….

And more threats from the side of peace and tolerance:

Not that we here at the Q Tree don’t know this, but:

Those injuries are starting to have a big impact. Remember this from the weekend/yesterday?

More Vaccine-Injured Pilots Speak Out As Groups Pressure Airlines, Regulators To End Mandates

According to these individuals and groups, the number of pilots speaking out about their vaccine injuries is dwarfed by the number of pilots who are still flying despite experiencing concerning symptoms — but not speaking out because of what they describe as a culture of intimidation within the aviation industry.

These individuals fear they will lose their jobs and livelihoods in retaliation if they reveal their symptoms or go public with their stories, sources told The Defender.

Still, a growing number of pilots are coming forward.

Last month, The Defender published the accounts of several pilots — and of the widow of a pilot who died from a vaccine-related adverse event.

Since then, more pilots have shared their stories, including one who is currently flying for a commercial airline.

A growing number of advocacy organizations, representing workers across the aviation industry and in several countries, are joining these pilots in speaking out.

The Defender previously reported on actions by the U.S. Freedom Flyers (USFF) and other legal advocates in the U.S.

Since then, representatives from the Global Aviation Advocacy Coalition (GAA) and the Canada-based Free To Fly also spoke with The Defender about their initiatives….

Australia, like Canada, has a government-level vaccine mandate for airline crew and airport workers. In Australia, this mandate went into effect on Nov. 15, 2021.

Glen Waters is a former captain with Virgin Australia who is now a spokesman for a group of employees from the same airline.

Waters, who had held the rank of captain for 19 years before being terminated by Virgin Australia for refusing the vaccine, spoke to The Defender on behalf of several pilots who are suffering from vaccine injuries.

According to Waters, “none of the pilots suffering from injuries are prepared to talk” because “the company is actively trying to terminate anyone reporting vaccine injury.”

Waters said employees whose health issues are characterized as “unrelated” to the vaccine are being treated by Virgin Australia “as you would expect a company to care for its employees.”

Waters stated “there are several reasons injured pilots will not come forward,” including:

  • “There is a stigma attached to anti-vaccine sentiment in any form.
  • There is a reluctance on the part of the medical community to get involved with possible vaccine injuries.
  • Vaccine makers will actively fight against injury claims.
  • Insurance companies have distanced themselves from claims involving the vaccine.
  • Pilots don’t want to lose their medical certifications, jobs or careers.

Waters said of approximately 900 pilots flying with Virgin Australia, he is aware of nine who are no longer flying because of medical complications that could be linked to the vaccine.

In an open letter to the aviation industry, the GAA raised serious allegations regarding industry vaccine mandates, which the GAA said resulted in a growing number of vaccine-injured pilots who are unable to fly and who may never do so again — and an increasing number of pilots who continue to fly while experiencing potentially serious symptoms.

The letter was signed by organizations including the USFF, Free To Fly Canada, the Aussie Freedom Flyers, the UK Freedom Flyers, the International Medical Alliance, the Global Covid Summit, the Canadian Covid Care Alliance, the UK Medical Freedom Alliance, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and several other groups in the U.S., France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the U.K., as well as more than 17,000 physicians and medical scientists from around the world and “thousands of pilots at over 30 global airlines.

The GAA said it is in communication with pilots at the following U.S.-based airlines: Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit and United, and 12 major air carriers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

Thus, one aspect of the pilot shortage explained. One direct result popped up on Tuesday with more information.

American Airlines will stop flying to three cities due to pilot shortage

American Airlines will stop flying to Toledo, Ohio, along with Ithaca and Islip, N.Y., on Sept. 7, making cuts to three airports serviced by regional carriers that have been hardest hit by the shortage of pilots being felt across the industry, the company said….

“In response to the regional pilot shortage affecting the airline industry, American Airlines has made the difficult decision to end service,” American Airlines spokeswoman Andrea Koos said in a statement. “We’re extremely grateful for the care and service our team members provided to our customers in Islip, Ithaca and Toledo, and are working closely with them during this time.”…

That’s because pilots from regional carriers are often recruited to work at mainline carriers such as American, Delta and United. Pay, benefits and schedules are better at mainline carriers, and provide opportunities to advance faster to longer and international routes, which are more efficient for pilots who get paid for time in the air.

That has forced American and other carriers to cut back on the use of regional carriers. American CEO Robert Isom said the company has parked about 100 planes at regional carriers, even though customer demand is high.

Why Is the Army Rushing to Repaint Its Desert-Camo Vehicles Green?

At Fort Hood in Texas, an order recently came down for a “rush” job on 49 military vehicles — specifically, that they be repainted from their current desert camouflage to a green color that’s more suited to woodlands or temperate climates.

According to The San Antonio Express-News, “Gary Pasley, his partner, David Stidham, and a small team of soldiers had just 19 days to repaint 49 pieces of military equipment ranging from Humvees to medium tactical vehicles” earlier in June.

The Express-News explains:

The GIs washed the vehicles and equipment so Pasley and Stidham could paint them a dull green, covering the familiar desert tan. That prompted Pasley, 44, an Iraq War veteran, to speculate that the Army’s priorities were shifting away from the Middle East and Afghanistan.

“I’m pretty sure that we’re downsizing from that region of the world and kind of focused on our efforts elsewhere, so I would say the vehicle (color) might be terrain appropriate,” Pasley said.

Just where the new focus might be, neither he nor the Army could say.

After 20 years of fighting wars in vehicles painted to match the desert, Fort Hood now has a relative handful of vehicles made over with a basic olive drab — the Army calls it “woodland green” — that can serve as the primer for a common camouflage pattern standardized for each vehicle type.

As yet, no camo has been applied.

This also popped up in yesterday’s daily and is worth a read:

Putin Declares the End of NWO

I just read the full transcripts from Putin’s speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) Friday, 06/17/22. Just WOW. It is extremely eye opening to read his message. Surprisingly, I have to agree with him on everything he said. He kinda sounds like Trump to be honest.

I highly suggest you read the entire thing, but let’s break down some passages that stuck out to me:

-“the era of the unipolar world order is over, I want to start with this, there is no escape, it is over despite all attempts to preserve it, preserve it for any medium.”

Kinda sounds like he’s saying “nothing can stop what is coming”. Putin has been adamant that he’s taking out the neo-nazis and NWO. He claims it’s all theater at this point. Window dressing until their inevitable defeat.

“The United States, having declared victory in the Cold War, declared themselves the messengers of the Lord on Earth, who have no obligations, but only interests, and these interests are declared sacred.”

“They (United States) are captives of their own delusions about countries outside the so-called “golden billion”: they consider everything else to be the periphery, their backyard, they still treat them like colonies, and the people who live there consider them second-class people . , because they are considered exceptional. If they are exceptional, everyone else is second class.”

“Therefore, an irrepressible desire to punish, financially crush those who stand out from the general ranks, they do not want to blindly obey. Furthermore, they rudely and shamelessly impose their own ethics, views on culture and ideas on history and sometimes question the sovereignty and integrity of states, creating a threat to their existence. Suffice it to recall the fate of Yugoslavia and Syria, Libya and Iraq.”

Here, we see Putin saying some harsh, but accurate things about the United States and how they have conducted themselves on a global stage since the end of the Cold War. Putin is right. Actors within the US government pushed illegal and dangerous biological activity directly onto Russia’s border, left countries in an absolute state of destruction, waged bloody and pointless wars, only seeking to fulfill the self interests of a global order. Sounds like Trump talking about the Deep State to me.

The Democrats vs. Morality

An 18-year-old explains why young White men are becoming radicalized

Imagine you’re an 8th-grade boy. You’re beginning to be told by teachers, the media, and maybe your parents that you’re privileged because you’re a boy. It’s a basic truth, you’re told.

But this just makes you confused. You start asking yourself questions. If boys are privileged, why do the girls in my class tend to get better grades?

Why are there more girls than boys in my advanced classes?

Why are the girls more well-behaved and focused?

Why are some of the girls preparing for college applications already? By the time you get to high school, your confusion only grows.

Your friend, who used to go to church with you, has become addicted to porn. Another friend, whose parents have recently divorced, has started using drugs.

Your friends start appearing unmotivated and demoralized. Meanwhile, the girls at your school continue to be over-represented in honors classes, get better test scores and grades, obtain more leadership positions, and participate in more extracurriculars.

But you’re still repeatedly told that boys are privileged. How could this be?

And from yesterday’s comments:

In between
Gregg Philips @ Truth Social.

He talked to Trump at mar-a-largo premier of 2000 Mules.

and then writes,

….Don’t fall for nonsense

Still happening:

1) The Pit – a private meeting with a select group of people [Patel Patriot (Jon) is invited]

2) Ripcord – publishing all video, documents and information. [This should mean LEOs & DAs are finished.]

3. Tiger Project – explosive story that will blow up the narrative and those who have shoved it down our thoats.

4. Command Center – platform for citizen research, structured and unstructured

intelligence gathering, and coordination with law enforcement for near real time action ops.

He wouldn’t put this out there unless he was cleared to do so, and under some sort of protection.

It’s happening.

Have a good day y’all.

(I don’t remember who brought this to a daily in the comments, but thanks.)

And, of course, the obligatory George Carlin:

Per the Boss:

And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:

Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone

Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.

Please remember to remain locked and loaded and ready for trouble should the insurrectionists try to invade your space.

Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out, as well as the newest rescue venue.

Auntie DePat’s requests:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

One other vital note:

Please, review these rules that our host Wolfm00n outlined toward the beginning of the growth of the tree itself. it won’t take long.

MATTHEW 7:15-20

15“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? 17So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. 18A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus you will know them by their fruits.
