I’m skipping all the boilerplate invective this week, as fun as it is. Because something just occurred to me.
At some point I got hit with a light dose of something or other. I beat a bit of a retreat but someone got to the top of the scaffolding with an American flag.

The next thing I remember, after getting close in, is a gas cartridge landing about ten feet away from me. I had already gotten light exposure twice to something that made one cough, and once to something that also stung when you inhaled it. Sticking around here would no doubt entail more than light exposure. I backed away.
When the smoke cleared, I noticed people charging up the steps. Lots of people charging up the steps. In fact I can see them in the prior picture too if I blow it up.
OK, that ends the quote.
Note that I missed the key moment…the moment the people on that stairway started to pour through.
They got through, right after the tear gas landed right next to me.
Let me remind you what I was doing…I was near that stairway, with a camera.
Not a phone, a “real” camera, with an 18-200 mm lens. It’s a lot smaller than it sounds but still, it’s gear in a way that a phone is not. Also, but not visible from the outside (unless someone recognizes the camera model), this little camera takes 32 megapixel pictures. (What I posted on the thread was considerably reduced in size!)
Was that tear gas canister…which landed less than ten feet away from me…fired specifically for the purpose of distracting me while they let the stairway people breach the line?
Maybe, maybe not. But the timing and placement of that canister and the “breach” sure makes me wonder.
The timestamp for the first picture I took after the gas canister hit was 1:19:36 MST. This picture is the first one above with the cloud of tear gas. The camera numbered it #3175.
(Note: That is almost certainly not the right time. I routinely forget to adjust the clock on my camera when I bring it out for use…which is sporadically. And the camera’s clock isn’t all that accurate, it slips from the correct time greatly over the span of a few months. But the time stamps can be used to establish relative timing.)
The timestamp for the last picture I took before that (#3174) was 1:17:46. It’s similar to the last one in my post before the tear gas, which was #3157…that was taken at 1:17:30. (Yes, I took seventeen 32 megapixel pictures in 16 seconds…and the camera didn’t break a sweat; it can do 15 per second for half a minute before the buffer fills up and it chokes. And, by the way, this is not even, by a long shot, the best camera that company makes. This is a fairly small camera whose design emphasis was portability.)
It’s a damned shame I wasn’t taking video. (The last video I took, 2:22 seconds worth, was of the stairway, culminating in some guy in a blue coat getting pepper sprayed. Screen capture (also in my original post) below):
The video (numbered #2944) is time stamped 1:00:58…almost nineteen minutes before the grenade. I don’t know if that’s the start time or the end time. The video is 1080p and you will never see a Bigfoot video of remotely that quality.
Like I said it’s a damn shame I wasn’t videoing at the right time.
Of course these days everyone has a camera with them, in their cell phone, so a lot of cops abusing citizens (and “model citizens” abusing cops) get filmed by passers-by these days, to say nothing of dash cams, body cams, and so on. But at this rally, only a small fraction of people were using their cameras. Most were busy waving flags, and yelling and screaming. Some people put gopros and similar things on poles, but for all I knew they were “media” or Antifa plants or even undercover cops, and therefore harmless to “them.” In fact, I’m at least a bit confident that those guys with cameras on poles were gone by the time the grenade hit.
So anyone else with a “real” camera (interchangeable lens) might have stuck out like a sore thumb.
Out of all those people, did I have to be distracted?
Like I said, I’ll never know.

Aubergine have a knitting question. Have my front and back of sweater can I knit the sleeves at the same time? Never done that but thought it to be easier to make sure both sleeves are the same length. I guess in old age do not feel like messuring over and over to make sure. Front and back I kept track of the rose knitted and wrote them down. Thank you 🙂
If you have the needles to do both at the same time, why not? Sounds reasonable to me. Knit a row of one, and then the other, and finish up at the same time.

If you have a long, circular needle (the kind with a cord between the two needles; they come up to 36 inches, I think), then I don;t see why you couldn’t knit both on it, with two balls of yarn.

Pretty good. Unfortunately Hubby has a blood insuficiency problem in his lower leg following an infection and is now walking with a cane. That leaves me doing all the chores.
I am working on him in getting him to EXERCISE since that is what will get the blood pumping again. Unfortunately he is afraid to ‘push past the pain.’ 🙄 He has allowed the Achilles tendon to contract by not walking flat footed for several weeks.
However buying him a cane, a nifty strap on ice pack and a leg/foot air compression system to mechanically get the blood flowing seems to be helping. (THAT AND NAGGING! 😉 )

As I said, I may be reading the Israelis study wrong and making the wrong conclusions – I don’t have a science background. The Israeli paper cited above was looking at matched samples of non infected (600 thousand) vs Covid infected people (200 thousand). They found no STATISTICAL difference. AFTER RECOVERY from the disease.

Yes. Aubergine and I went through an analysis of this paper. Acute COVID-19 is still a risk for carditis. But once you recover from the disease, your risk is not increased. Likely true for the vaccines, too. Damage is prompt. But it may be silent or missed.

That part of the Baltic is practically like the Chesapeake Bay. It’s a transparent NATO aquarium. USN warships and helos spent all summer conducting underwater UUV / ROV drone “mine detection and demolition” drills. You have seen all the news stories.
If anybody else tried to explode 4 simultaneous pipeline bombs, in pairs, 20 KM apart, (NS1 and NS2), NATO and the USN would know ALL about it.
A medium-size fish cannot swim in and out of the Baltic (50′ controlling depth) without being recorded on audio, video, hydro/pressure etc.
Russia has bare transit rights [during peacetime] from Kaliningrad and St. Pete, but that is it. Every Russian ship going in and out of the Baltic is virtually escorted front and rear. The Western Baltic is a small lake surrounded by NATO nations, plus NATO-cooperating Sweden and Finland.
The USN did it. Period.
I take no joy in saying that, as a long-ago frogman who locked in and out of submerged nuclear submarines, rode in mini-subs (SDVS), trained with every conceivable kind of underwater demolition, (too long to list), and dived with air bottles, mixed gas, and pure oxygen (for no bubbles). To believe otherwise than the USN did this is like believing the Russians snuck up the Thames River in a mini mystery sub to blow up 4 key British infrastructure sites, at the same time, and got away undetected.

He says that it’s a 50′ controlling depth…which I am going to presume that that’s the deepest part of the shallowest inlet…so the straits through Denmark and between Denmark and Sweden?
But if that’s it, that’s not relevant, the Russian fleet is already in the Baltic because they have port cities there. They don’t have to sneak into it, at all. (They do have to sneak around in it, if they were to do this.)
What’s the controlling depth to get in and out of the Gulf of Bothnia? (That’s the arm of the Baltic that reaches Ust-Luga and Vyborg (and St. Petersburg) in the upper right of the map.) But even that isn’t the best question…how hard is it to get from Kaliningrad (the Russian Exclave, center bottom of the map) to the sabotage point? The Russians have a large naval base there.
All that being said, I don’t see any reason for them to have done this, since they can (and did) turn a valve at one end of the pipeline to have the same effect. The only possible reason for them to have done this is to frame us and even then that’s a damned expensive way to do that. Usually you frame someone for doing something you’d want done yourself but don’t want to get caught doing..that way it’s a double win. Not only is your secret goal accomplished, but your adversary took the blame.

I also can’t rule out the possibility that it was a rogue element somewhere–i.e., people operating without authorization from higher ups. Then the US would get the blame even though it wasn’t official policy, and we’d probably be let off the hook by throwing BillyBob in jail for the rest of his life.
The fact that that scenario would play out that way, of course, suggests a third scenario…that it will be made to LOOK like that is what happened, but he really was doing what his superiors were wanting him to do; they were just careful to leave no trace of the order being given.
This sort of thing is absolutely par for the course and headache inducing for outsiders to figure out.

Agreed … a zero percent loan might have IRS implications – either construed as a gift or, as Coothie says, interest will be imputed even though loan written as zero interest. I think the IRS sets a ‘minimum’ to be imputed. It’s been awhile since I studied those aspects of IRS regs, but an attorney or tax acctant can help ( or you can research at irs website).

Abstract
The current report presents the case of a 76-year-old man with Parkinson’s disease (PD) who died three weeks after receiving his third COVID-19 vaccination. The patient was first vaccinated in May 2021 with the ChAdOx1 nCov-19 vector vaccine, followed by two doses of the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine in July and December 2021. The family of the deceased requested an autopsy due to ambiguous clinical signs before death. PD was confirmed by post-mortem examinations. Furthermore, signs of aspiration pneumonia and systemic arteriosclerosis were evident. However, histopathological analyses of the brain uncovered previously unsuspected findings, including acute vasculitis (predominantly lymphocytic) as well as multifocal necrotizing encephalitis of unknown etiology with pronounced inflammation including glial and lymphocytic reaction. In the heart, signs of chronic cardiomyopathy as well as mild acute lympho-histiocytic myocarditis and vasculitis were present. Although there was no history of COVID-19 for this patient, immunohistochemistry for SARS-CoV-2 antigens (spike and nucleocapsid proteins) was performed. Surprisingly, only spike protein but no nucleocapsid protein could be detected within the foci of inflammation in both the brain and the heart, particularly in the endothelial cells of small blood vessels. Since no nucleocapsid protein could be detected, the presence of spike protein must be ascribed to vaccination rather than to viral infection. The findings corroborate previous reports of encephalitis and myocarditis caused by gene-based COVID-19 vaccines.

Every document that Pfizer-BioNTech gave to the FDA in December, 2020, in order to get the original EUA issued for the company’s mRNA-based “vaccine”, BNT162b2, has an FDA – CBER identifier number on it. IMO, the FDA was given the pertinent evidence — both Pfizer-BioNTech and the FDA knew beforehand that the spike protein in BNT162b2 could migrate to various body organs like the brain and could also damage the heart.

My brother has 3 or 4 shots complained today about having hip pain contributed it to a sudden arthritis. He said his wive has the same so they work and force themselves to keep walking long distances. He is in his eighties.
