Donald Trump was just overwhelmingly re-elected to be the next President of the United States. It appears that he will appoint Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., to be Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Mr. Kennedy, Jr., has vowed to end the “stranglehold” that the FDA, the CDC, Big Pharma, and “Establishment Medicine” have imposed on the American people for decades. It also appears that he plans to re-organize the FDA into an agency that actually does its job in protecting the health of the American people. In view of their exalted status, I believe that they should be sent on a luxury cruise at government expense. Roughly 5,000 per ship can be put on top-of-the-line liners run by commercial cruise operators.
As a demonstration of how important the US finds that Freedom of Navigation (FON) is to the world, we periodically run FONOPS through areas like the Taiwan Strait, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Red Sea.
Running cruise ships full of SES personnel through these FONOPS would be an unmistakable sign of how seriously we hold the values of FON and how highly we value these public servants.
Another suggestion is the Drake Passage. In fact, stay there for a while.
