My daughter and her family visited for Easter and my granddaughter just turned 16. I recruited her to help me.
I finally found a distance he could not overcome between the table with the feeder and the arm of the chair. However, he found that he could climb the wire from under the deck to the satellite dish to access the deck railing on the side of the deck to eat the peanuts i leave for the bluejays. (the bluejays chased him several times.)
But my daughter thought “Chippy” was adorable and wanted to take him home with them–BECAUSE every year they have to fish 3-4 dead chipmunks that fall into their in ground pool and this guy could replace one of those. SIGH
(It’s a 4 hour ride home, but she sincerely tried to catch it.)
Fortunately they were planning a trip to the Finger Lakes for the day and we were taking my granddaughter out shopping for her birthday. So once they left, we gave it a good chipmunk hockey try to scare it off for good. I had the broom, she took the shovel and we trapped it under the loveseat. it was frantic and we thought we were teaching it a lesson.
In a bold move to escape, it ran right towards my granddaughter (who btw plays GOALIE on her high school team) and she freaked out and it ran thru her legs.
Sigh
However, nature helped us out. out in the yard where he was scrambling to get away? a hawk was waiting. swooped down from the pine tree and flew off with it. We didn’t tell my daughter when they got back from the Lakes. Just marveled that it hadn’t been back since.
A perfect ending! 😂

Reminds me of a post I wrote on the Steve Hoffman music forum, maybe close to 20 years ago.
One of the moderators, a Massachusetts Lefty, had become my nemesis, always looking for reasons to suspend me for a week or two. He even suspended me for quoting Scripture.
I managed to find myself in the middle of frequent controversies. Usually because somebody would make some crazy Leftist comment, and someone else would echo it, and then someone else, and pretty soon it was a runaway train.
That’s about when I would casually ask a question, or point out an inconvenient fact, which would derail their Lunatic Leftist party train. Then, naturally they would attack me, and it was on. And that was pretty much our standard recipe for how to have fun on the Steve Hoffman music forums 😁
One day, the topic of life after death had come up.
Lots of people were posting their thoughts about it, and eventually the Lefty Massachusetts moderator, who was also a frequent poster, said ‘Who can ever really know?‘

I think this is a very effective meme. I’m hopeful that those arrests will happen, and I’m willing to give some time, but this is much more than a job evaluation for those in positions of leadership; it is about the survival of the country. This is our best chance for justice, with PDJT as POTUS. If justice doesn’t happen with him in office, with Republicans in control of Congress, and with a cabinet of his choosing, then it won’t happen at all.
That said, I don’t think it does any good to complain every day about “nothing is happening” when we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. But I do think that people in positions to do something need to hear from us and address our concerns. IMO they need to be sent this meme. Then I would like to hear what progress they are making on the issues. No classified information, just “we have a task force working on that” or “that is being addressed,” or “we are working to bring that to a conclusion as speedily as we can,” etc.

“Behind the scenes” means the process that happens with law enforcement and the legal system to bring people to justice. Certain things could compromise the ability to prosecute a case, and they can’t be publicly available or all is lost.
When a crime is committed or a child is taken from their bed, some facts are kept from the public because revealing them would keep law enforcement from having the leverage they need to catch and prosecute the perps. Knowledge is power. If the criminals know what the good guys are thinking and doing, that helps the criminals evade the law.
Having said that, I believe the fact of this has been used as an excuse to go along to get along. I’m not saying that the current agency leaders are doing that, but there is no way for us to know at this point because they absolutely can’t reveal everything they know until it is expedient for arrests, indictments, and prosecutions.
We need to keep pressure on and, as I said previously about Bondi and the Epstein files, they need to communicate with us. This waiting for years until a special prosecutor is appointed so they research and write a report, etc., can’t continue. We need swift justice while we have the opportunity. I applaud Dan Bongino for at least reaching out, but I don’t think anyone in a leadership position understands a) how much we know and are aware of, and b) how tired we are of people skating by and even profiting off their crimes.
Do we want a bunch of low levels, caught and paraded and then the Cabal continues as usual?
Or do we want the HIGHEST LEVEL CAUGHT AND WIPED OUT?

COMMENTARY FOR ROMANS 4
“The doctrine of justification by faith is shown by the case of Abraham. (1-12) He received the promise through the righteousness of faith. (13-22) And we are justified in the same way of believing. (23-25)1-12 To meet the views of the Jews, the apostle first refers to the example of Abraham, in whom the Jews gloried as their most renowned forefather. However exalted in various respects, he had nothing to boast in the presence of God, being saved by grace, through faith, even as others. Without noticing the years which passed before his call, and the failures at times in his obedience, and even in his faith, it was expressly stated in Scripture that “he believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness,” #Ge 15:6|. From this example it is observed, that if any man could work the full measure required by the law, the reward must be reckoned as a debt, which evidently was not the case even of Abraham, seeing faith was reckoned to him for righteousness. When believers are justified by faith, “their faith being counted for righteousness,” their faith does not justify them as a part, small or great, of their righteousness; but as the appointed means of uniting them to Him who has chosen as the name whereby he shall be called, “the Lord our Righteousness.” Pardoned people are the only blessed people. It clearly appears from the Scripture, that Abraham was justified several years before his circumcision. It is, therefore, plain that this rite was not necessary in order to justification. It was a sign of the original corruption of human nature. And it was such a sign as was also an outward seal, appointed not only to confirm God’s promises to him and to his seed, and their obligation to be the Lord’s, but likewise to assure him of his being already a real partaker of the righteousness of faith. Thus Abraham was the spiritual forefather of all believers, who walked after the example of his obedient faith. The seal of the Holy Spirit in our sanctification, making us new creatures, is the inward evidence of the righteousness of faith.”

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

The original Omicron virus, AND all of its “descendant variants”, are connected with the original Wuhan Hu1 SARS-CoV-2 virus (the original COVID-19) virus.)
Two: The Novavax COVID-19 “vaccines” — from the “original formula” through the most current “2924-2025 Formula”, are all made the same way:
— The COVID-19 spike protein is lab-synthesized into a recombinant spike protein.
— The recombinant spike protein is then “cultured” in a “bath” consisting of elements from the Spodoptera frugiperda moth (also called the Fall Armyworm moth), an insect that KILLS CROPS.
— The resulting “broth” made by the “culturing” process is then “purified” and mixed with other chemicals, such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate — a FUNGICIDE used in agriculture.

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,
