It is NOT a fisheye photo. Straight lines (walls, picture frames, table edges, rug patterns) are perfectly straight — no barrel curvature at all. The size oddities people are joking about (“shrunk the Carters,” “dwarf house,” “miniature furniture”) are from photoshop/compositing, not lens distortion. The Carters were almost certainly scaled down relative to the Bidens and the room when the image was edited together.
Fisheye (barrel) distortion stretches everything radially outward from the center of the frame. The farther from the exact center, the bigger and more stretched people look — even if they’re the exact same real height and distance from the camera.Approximate positions in this frame (left to right):

Winemakers are pulling the cork on California.
Another giant in the world-famous wine growing region is shutting down and slashing staff, making it the fourth since the start of 2026.
Jackson Family Wines has stopped production at its Carneros Hill facility in Sonoma’s Carneros region, laying off more than a dozen employees, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notice filed with California authorities on Feb. 12.
Communications director Sean Carrol told the San Francisco Chronicle that Carnero’s Hill — previously owned by Buena Vista Winery — “served as overflow production capacity and was not tied to any specific brand.”
It owns the Kendall-Jackson label and about 40 other brands, producing around 6 million cases a year, according to an industry review. More than 25 of those wineries are in the Golden State.
Last week, major winemaker Gallo announced the closure of a large production facility and the elimination of nearly 100 jobs across the wine growing region of Napa and Sonoma counties.
Considered the world’s largest winemaker by volume, Gallo filed a “warning” notice with the California Employment Development Department on Feb. 12, confirming it will permanently pull the cork on the Ranch Winery in St. Helena.
Gallo is also slashing staff at some of its other labels, including the Louis M. Martini Winery and the Orin Swift Tasting Room in St. Helena, as well as J Vineyards and Frei Ranch in Healdsburg.
“Gallo is aligning parts of our operations with our long‑term business strategy to ensure we remain well‑positioned for future success,” a spokesperson for the company told The Post.
“As part of this process, we made the difficult decision to reduce certain Wine Country operations. These changes are driven by market dynamics, evolving consumer demand, and available capacity across our wineries.”
Earlier this month, Foley Family Wines & Spirits shut down its production facility for the historic Central Coast winery Chalone.
In January, Constellation Brands notified more than 200 people at the Mission Bell Winery in Madera that they would be out of work. And Jean-Charles Boisset Collection closed two Napa Valley tasting rooms.
According to a recent report from Wine Business Monthly, there were 4,727 wineries in California in 2025. As of February 2026, there are 4,646.

I got notice YESTERDAY that my renewed passport is IN THE MAIL! That’s less than TWO WEEKS.

Cuban Coast Guard killed four people in a Florida-registered speedboat after the vessel crossed into the nation’s waters and opened fire, Cuban officials said.
The Cuban Embassy said on X that the incident unfolded Wednesday morning, when the speedboat approached one mile northeast of the El Pino channel in the Villa Clara province.
The embassy said Border Guard Troops confronted the speedboat, leading the crew of the Florida-registered boat to open fire on the Cuban personnel.
The commander of the Cuban vessel was injured in the shootout, while four people on the Florida speedboat were killed and six more were injured.
The embassy added in a statement: ‘In the face of current challenges, Cuba reaffirms its determination to protect its territorial waters, based on the principle that national defense is a fundamental pillar of the Cuban State in safeguarding its sovereignty and ensuring stability in the region.
‘Investigations by the competent authorities continue in order to fully clarify the events.’

Jelly Belly will lay off 69 workers beginning in June and close its corporate-commercial operations in Fairfield.
According to a WARN notice received by Mayor Catherine Moy, Ferrara Candy Co. is “ceasing its Fairfield corporate-commercial operations.” The layoffs will begin in June and continue through the end of 2026.
The Fairfield site currently employs 374 workers, with 69 positions affected. The company said candy production, warehousing and public tours will continue.
Fairfield City Manager David Gassaway told the City Council in a letter that the reductions were anticipated following Ferrara’s acquisition of Jelly Belly in 2023, according to a social media post from Moy.
He said Ferrara reiterated that it does not plan to close the factory and will continue providing philanthropic support in the community at similar funding levels. The company also said impacted employees are eligible for relocation benefits to other Ferrara facilities.
The layoffs come as Fairfield is also navigating the closure of the Anheuser-Busch Budweiser facility, which shut down Feb. 22 and affected more than 230 workers.
