Rand Paul:

Read this Fauci diary entry closely. Officials would not admit the vaccine was not stopping spread because it might weaken the legal case for mandates. That is not science. That is a cover-up to justify coercion.

Jeffrey A. Tucker:

August 13, 2022: we cannot admit that the shots don’t work because that would undermine our policy to force people to get them.

Officials would not admit the vaccine was not stopping spread because it might weaken the legal case for mandates.

_____________

There isn’t anything which justify ‘mandates’.

You can’t forcibly inject another human being with anything, ever. At least not unless he has been found guilty of a capital offense.

This was covered in the Nuremberg Trials and the Nuremberg Code.

………………
Brave Ai: The Nuremberg Code was established in 1947 following the trial of 23 Nazi doctors accused of conducting lethal medical experiments on concentration camp prisoners.

While the code does not explicitly mention “injections,” its first principle mandates that the voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential.
………………
.

And second, at least half the population won’t go on a date with a man anyway, no matter what the government says.

And then the question becomes:

WHY does the DOJ want to MANDATE a shot that does not work?

MONEY?
Depopulation?

Wolf Moon

Power, too! It’s clear that they were worried about losing the power to force shots on people.

Aubergine

I think the power is the driver of it all.

I think megalomania is just another word encompassing many of the seven deadly sins, and it lies at the heart of evil men (and women).

Given absolute power over others, most often the result is corruption. The corruption in the case was on a massive scale at the Fauci level. But remember all the small town mayors, state governors, grocery clerks, and Walmart greeters that turned into tyrants when the opportunity arose. They were only “petty” tyrants because they were in lesser positions of power. How many of them, given Fauci’s reach, would have been exactly like him? Almost all, in my opinion.

One think Covid taught me is that unbridled sin simmers just under the surface of a whole lot of people who don’t know Jesus. And some who say they do. The world has gotten very far away from God, and Covid showed it.

There is something to be said about revising the number of justices on SCOTUS, as well as revising appellate courts.

There are currently 13 Courts of Appeals. 1-11 are specific states and territories, the 12th is the DC Circuit, which serves to grant “home court advantage” to the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. [which I find obscene], and the last is for certain technical matters (such as disputes between states).

These Circuits can be as small as the Third Circuit (Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Virgin Islands) or First Circuit (Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island)….or as expansive as the Ninth Circuit (Alaska, Arizona, Guam, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and the Northern Mariana Islands).

The bulk of the Circuits were set up in 1891, with minor tweaks in 1893 (DC Circuit), 1929 (10th Circuit split out of 8th), and 1982 (Federal Circuit reorganized from smaller courts).

The West Coast has obviously changed its stature between 1891 and the present, while the rust belt has been on a long sad slope of decline. This has left the Circuits wildly unbalanced.

If I had my druthers, I would support a rebalancing of the Circuit Courts to result in 13 with approximately the same anticipated caseload. The DC Circuit should be utterly abolished, and its grounds sown with salt. This leaves us with the pleasant prospect of 13 SCOTUS justices, one from each Circuit.

Phase-in rules are left as an exercise for the reader…

Nancy Guthrie Died ‘Shortly After She Was Taken’ – Pima County Sheriff’s Department Releases Ransom Notes
The first note asked for ransom money.

…A second ransom note sent a few days later claimed that Nancy had died and had been buried.

“Guthrie Family,We did not fully grasp the seriousness of her physical condition. We never intended to hurt her, that was not our intention. She perished shortly after she was taken. We believe it was heart related. She is buried in nature now. Nothing you could have done could have changed the outcome. We want your family to know this and hope you all can find peace. BQQM!!! Yes.

The woman’s involvement was likely predicated on “nothing happens to the old lady”. The reason she wasn’t just killed by the male accomplices – what you suggest – she’s married to one.

Perhaps she is a female friend or relative of any illegal who worked for or near the Guthries.

This is all pretty sick. Pima really fd up here.

Wolf Moon

pgroup

When this first happened, I speculated that the old lady cut off the ‘welfare’ that Savannah’s deadbeat sister was getting.

Her husband tried to intimidate the old lady physically and she died during the altercation.

So they had to come up with a plan. They decided to fake it as a kidnapping but they weren’t criminally experienced enough to run the plan all the way out. That’s why none of the dots connected properly.

They were winging it, and not very well.

This was all a tragic unintended domestic dispute gone haywire. Now because of the threat of criminal prosecution hanging over both of them, the perps will likely keep quiet and the truth will never be told.

Another side-effect of Ozempic drugs: temporal wasting.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/health-wellness/2026/07/31/ozempic-temporal-hollowing/91113282007/

In the era of GLP-1 medications, like Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaroplastic surgeons say they’re seeing an increase in patients seeking a niche treatment in a high-risk area of the face. The issue? “Temporal hollowing,” or “temporal wasting” − which, they say, involves loss of volume in the temples, due to rapid weight loss.

…Though people rarely notice or think about temples, Dubrow says the fullness of that facial region communicates significant information. Slight changes in depth can make someone look older or even dehydrated, he says.

“It takes your face out of its youthful balance,” he says. “When you look at a youthful face − when you look at kids, babies − the temple area is very full.”

…Temporal hollowing can be treated a number of ways. The most common is with filler. Others may opt for surgical intervention, like a fat transfer.

But the temples are a “high risk area” for filler, Dubrow says. They’re full of veins and arteries. If something goes wrong, you could go blind. That’s why it’s essential to only seek filler − or any medical intervention for that matter − from a legitimate medical professional.

😱

…Dubrow also wants people to know temporal hollowing can be avoided altogether by losing weight gradually. When people on GLP-1s follow doctors’ instructions, it’s usually not a problem.

When people take matters into their own hands, that’s when they’re more likely to suffer from temporal hollowing.

“Don’t go too fast. Don’t try to go up in the dose too quickly. Do exactly what you’re supposed to do,” Dubrow says. Unfortunately, he adds, many people don’t.

“They’re getting them online − TikTok influencers, gym bros, chiropractors,” he says. “They’re sort of DIYing their GLPs. … They don’t really understand that it’s designed to slowly build up and get to a point where your food noise is gone, and you are in control of your appetite, rather your appetite being in control of you.”

I’m going to start noticing temples now…

Why eating too much protein could shorten your life

…We’ve been told that protein makes us feel satiated, while studies published in the last two decades have suggested that the combination of strength training – either through lifting weights or push-ups – and a higher-protein diet can counter age-related muscle loss.

Yet some scientists believe that it’s the weights and exercise that are the most important thing for your ageing muscles. If you’re merely eating more protein, it will likely be making your health worse.

Research carried out by Professor Dudley Lamming, a world-leading expert on the subject from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has found that a high-protein diet without any exercise leads to insulin resistance and accumulating more body fat in just over four months, even if you’re consuming the same number of calories.

“A number of different studies have shown that the people who are eating more protein tend to have higher rates of developing cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and even potentially a shorter lifespan,” says Lamming.

So what’s going on?

Why too much protein could shorten your life…

“Our research, at least in part, suggests that when you consume an excessive amount of protein without performing more exercise, and so not using it directly for build-up of muscle, it results in more DNA damage,” says Wilbert Vermeij, who leads a research team studying the biology of ageing at the Erasmus University Medical Centre in the Netherlands…

Gail Combs

Sounds like another attack on meat eating.

TradeBait2

I like Saturday AM. No homeschooling and Bible study starts later in the evening. I have time to “weigh” in on subjects like this.

You are correct IMO, Gail. It is an attack.

If you do not get enough exercise and resistance type work done with any nutrition plan you are hurting you health. Sedentary lifestyles kill.

With the Keto I have been doing I include stretching, exercises, walking and resistance work via dumbbells or good ole fashioned outdoors work. I am down 33 lbs. now and in much better physical condition than even 5+ years ago. I really do not want to lose much more weight, just get in even better shape. So I will probably increase the resistance work in the late fall and winter while increasing the good carbs a bit more.

With meat eating, for me it is about the variety. Don’t get stuck on the just one or two. Balance while adding in seafood, chicken, turkey. Always eat eggs – the yolks are critical to good health. Use real butter, extra virgin olive oil, whole milk dairy products (just limit the amounts), real mayo, etc. I never even look at how much meat/protein I eat each day – my body tells me what I need and want.

I am not strict with exact Keto “dieting”. I eat Keto breads/buns, Lewis makes some really good low sugar/high fiber Hawaiian and Sourdough as examples. I keep carbs under 30 per day. I can count on one hand the number of “carb” days I’ve had in the past 6 months and none exceeded 60 carbs. I do what I need to do to keep the dang sugar out of my system and stop eating the stuff that increases it so the fat will be burned instead. I go with healthy carbs from natural foods, none of the “processed” stuff. No “diet” foods. I will drink splenda, stevia, etc. sweetened coffee and tea. No sodas, been off them for decades. I season foods just the way I like them. Snacks are nuts, cheeses, berries, and low carb plant protein bars. You can eat all you want of those and still lose or maintain desired weight.

We have no desire for sweet foods anymore. That went away in the first month. I never go “hungry” anymore. If I get hungry, I eat. I just never eat less than a couple of hours before going to sleep at night. Typical cut off is around 7 PM for me.

The pharm solution is rarely the right solution. People are killing themselves and creating more Big Pharm. medical industry and funeral home income streams with that crap. if you need an appetite suppressant, there are good ones out there in capsule form that are all natural GLP1’s that include probiotics for gut health. TWC has one (Appetite) that I used for a month to assist and did not need afterwards. I have been an evening snacker forever. Not anymore, it got me over the hump while I removed the sugar. There are a number of others out there that are probably equally good.

Amen to the eggs. Eggs, dairy and red meat are the rich B12 sources! Very important in the elderly. Vegans are at something like 80% having B12 deficiency. They need to get B12 from special yeast, and the few other good vegan sources – most do not.

Actually, a very thorough longevity researcher, Victor Longo, has been saying this for years. His early work showed that sugar speeds up aging and shortens life (in vitro). His later work, involving interviewing healthy people over the age of 100 years old supported research showing that a diet high in vegetables and moderate protein intake gives the best longevity outcomes.

The point in the above quote is that your protein intake should be appropriate for your exercise/activity levels. And that makes sense to me.

Research carried out by Professor Dudley Lamming, a world-leading expert on the subject from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has found that a high-protein diet without any exercise leads to insulin resistance and accumulating more body fat in just over four months, even if you’re consuming the same number of calories.

Wolf Moon

I think the really high-protein diets they’re talking about are more like body-building.

When keto turns into body-building, or even worse, keto without exercise, it’s no longer keto, IMO. Yes, it reduces weight, but it doesn’t build or maintain muscle

IMO, staying away from high-carb, addictive, highly processed snacks (basically “chips” of any kind), is key.

TradeBait2

Yes – this. ^^^^

TheseTruths

Yes. What I took from the article is basic common sense to do things in moderation, and that if you’re not active, maybe you don’t need as much protein as you thought.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is also involved in any ill effects on anyone who is shed on by COVID-19 “vaccines.”
Dr. Anthony Fauci is also involved with the ongoing negative side effects induced in the body of anyone who has ever taken a COVID-19 “vaccine.”

He’s on his way out the door of this Earthly plane, and there’s nothing he can do about that.

He could repent and throw himself on the mercy of Jesus. But I wouldn’t hold my breath on that, because he appears to think he is god.

I don’t seek vengeance because that isn’t my place, and not what God says I’m supposed to do. BUT it is the place of our leaders, who have a different standard set forth by God for their pursuit of justice while on this Earth. And they have failed us. Even Trump has said he won’t challenge Fauci’s pardon, which makes me…well, I have no words for what I feel about that.

Sec Rubio: The International Criminal Court is an illegitimate international organization. What that literally means in the future is that American service members, political leaders and others could find themselves under indictment by this International Criminal Court.

The question is whether we will see Article 5 [of NATO] activated against Ukraine for attacking Turkey. — GhostofBasedPatrickHenry
Remember Turkey is a NATO member and Ukraine is NOT … OOOooops.

Trying to find information on this outside of Badlands is difficult but not surprising. The Fake News does NOT want people to know Ukraine is attacking a NATO member state.

…..

Has the Ukrainian military gone mad? An attack on 13 ships… (I am blocked from this site.)

Amid Ukraine’s recent intensified crackdown on shipping in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, a Turkish-flagged coal bulk carrier was attacked by a drone off the Russian port of Novorossiysk on Wednesday…

UKRAINE Claims responsibility for killing innocent seafarers

Drone attacks on cargo ships in the Sea of Azov result in 5 Azerbaijani sailors dead and 4 injured, heightening international tensions.

..Casualties: Five sailors were killed, and four sailors were injured. There were a total of 25 Azerbaijani citizens on board the ships; the identities of two victims have been confirmed.

Responsibility: The Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, stated that they struck five ‘illegally waiting ships’ during the night. Russia (Zaharova, Galuzin) linked the attack to Ukraine.

Turkish connection: The operator of the ‘Natra’ is Efem Ship Chartering, based in Kadıköy, Istanbul; the owner is Natra Shipping located in Tuzla…

The maritime front of the grain war

The fact that both targeted ships were heading to load grain in Rostov-na-Donu from Turkey summarizes the background of the attack. Ukraine is targeting Russia’s grain and fuel exports conducted by sea — particularly the tanker network referred to as the ‘shadow fleet’ and the grain shipments it claims are made from occupied territories — with both aerial and unmanned maritime vehicles. This campaign has extended far beyond the front lines… on May 30, a tanker and a fuel depot were set on fire at Taganrog Port. Turkish shipping has also been among the targets of this line: on March 26, the tanker ‘Altura’ of Pergamon Shipping was attacked near the Bosphorus, and on May 28, the Turkish-owned ship ‘Ant’ was struck off the coast of Odessa.

Experts indicate that this trend points to a maritime war increasingly involving civilian commercial vessels and seafarers from third countries. The narrow and shallow geography of the Sea of Azov permanently raises the risk of ‘collateral damage’ ..

RT: Turkish sailor killed amid fresh Ukrainian strikes on shipping

Kiev’s drones hit at least 13 ships in the Azov and Black Seas on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the country’s drone chief

At least one Turkish sailor was killed and others wounded following a drone strike on a Türkiye-flagged coal bulker off Russia’s port of Novorossiysk on Wednesday, amid intensified Ukrainian attacks on shipping in the Azov and Black seas.

The Istanbul-registered MV Reyhan Sari was carrying coal from Russia’s Taman Port to Trabzon in Türkiye when it was struck by a UAV. A crew member working in the engine room died at the scene of the impact, Türkiye Today reported on Wednesday.

The ship was able to continue under its own power and reach waters off Samsun, two injured crew members were evacuated by helicopter and taken to hospitals in the city, according to a statement from operating company cited by the media.

According to Ukraine’s drone forces commander, Robert Brovdi, Ukrainian forces struck a total of 13 ships on Tuesday and Thursday in the Azov and Black seas, “one tanker, 10 dry cargo ships and two tugboats.

It was not the first time Turkish ships have been struck by suspected Ukrainian drones. In March, a Ukraine-blacklisted tanker belonging to a Turkish shipping company was struck by drones near Bosphorus after taking on oil at Novorossiysk.

BADLANDS: Ukraine Strikes Turkish Ships as Israeli Minister Warns of Possible Naval Clash With Turkey

A Russian-appointed governor in Kherson said Ukrainian drone strikes targeted 13 Turkish civilian vessels operating in the Black Sea, killing one Turkish sailor and wounding three others. Turkish authorities have not publicly confirmed the casualty figures, and the circumstances surrounding the reported attacks remain disputed. Russia has condemned the strikes as attacks on civilian shipping. Meanwhile, Turkish officials have not announced any military response.

Separately, Israeli Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli said Israel should prepare for the possibility of a future naval confrontation with Turkey, citing Ankara’s expanding regional posture and tensions over Gaza and the Eastern Mediterranean. Chikli argued Israel should strengthen its naval capabilities and strategic planning, though he did not indicate that a clash is imminent.

The developments come as regional tensions remain elevated over the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, with Turkey maintaining relations with both Ukraine and Russia while continuing to criticize Israel’s military operations in Gaza. Despite increasingly sharp rhetoric between Ankara and Jerusalem, the two countries are not in direct military conflict.

GhostofBasedPatrickHenry:

For the past few months, I have been speculating on the prospect of a naval conflict breaking out in the eastern Mediterranean between Israel and Turkey, with perhaps Ukraine, Greece, or Cyprus (or all three) aligning with Israel against Turkey….

Now we have Ukraine attacking at least 13 Turkish ships, killing a sailor, and the Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Amichai Chikli, warning that we may see a naval conflict between Israel and Turkey unfolding in the very near future…

The question is whether we will see Article 5 activated against Ukraine for attacking Turkey. That would certainly present a quagmire to navigate for the Uniparty regime..

So there is AT LEAST one confirmed drone attack on a Turkish ship by Ukraine. With that as backgroundd:

BADLANDS: Rubio Meets Lavrov & Trump Withholds Funds as Ukraine’s New Army Chief Says “Russia Has No Right to Exist”

Ukraine’s newly appointed commander-in-chief, Lt. Gen. Mykhailo Drapatyi, declared that “Russia has no right to exist” while outlining his vision for Ukraine’s military. His remarks came as Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Manila, where Rubio said the Trump administration remains prepared to play a “constructive role” in helping end the wari, while cautioning there is no quick path to a negotiated settlement.

:wpds_arrow: The diplomatic outreach follows the Trump administration’s decision to withhold portions of previously planned military assistance to Ukraine pending a review of US weapons stockpiles. US officials have said the pause is intended to ensure American military readiness while continuing to evaluate future support for Kyiv.

Rubio described his discussion with Lavrov as “good” and “frank” but declined to disclose details, saying diplomacy is best conducted privately. Russia has continued to state it is open to a political settlement while maintaining its previously stated negotiating positions, and Ukraine has reiterated that any peace agreement must preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

why would ukraine provoke NATO?

Sir ES

Two thoughts come to mind:

First, NATO is dying – at the proper time, I believe the US will withdraw our alliance.

They are trapped for cash, with EU countries siphoning off the people’s money (usurping private pension funds for public / political use) for UKR.

Second, NATO is trapped, fully committed to “see it through,” and cannot backtrack. It’s a horrible position for NATO / EU, and UKR knows it.

Why not exercise that leverage?

NATO is an effete organization…

“Let’s see what happens.”

Hmmm.

If I were the See-Eye-Aye, or even President Trump, and I was tired of Zelenski’s bullshit, and I wanted a swift end to this conflict, what would I do?

Would I put in place some people to “encourage,” shall we say, attacks on a NATO ally? So that Article 5 would come into play? So that the United States could put an END to the war with prejudice?

Maybe I would.

pgroup

Pass the popcorn bowl, please.

Wolf Moon

(1) I’ve always regarded Ukraine as a poison pill for NATO. Turkey was a bridge too far, but Ukraine is a bridge farther.

(2) There are some countries and oligarchs that want WWIII. Ukraine is a nice starting place. It’s filled with corrupt nut-jobs, power-hungry demons, and laundromat operators.

(3) Russia’s strategy of patience is causing problems for Ukraine, and they need to incite things.

(4) Turkey is bottom of the pecking order in NATO. Ukraine is acting much like criminals do when they join a gang and want to move up in the pack.

Has the Ukrainian military gone mad?

Has the Ukrainian military gone mad? An attack on 13 ships resulted in one Turkish crew member killed and several injured; Russia urgently deployed warships.
2026-08-02 09:12 HKT

Amid Ukraine’s recent intensified crackdown on shipping in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, a Turkish-flagged coal bulk carrier was attacked by a drone off the Russian port of Novorossiysk on Wednesday, killing at least one Turkish crew member and injuring several others. According to Turkey’s Turkey Today newspaper on Wednesday, the Istanbul-registered “Reyhan Sari” was transporting coal from the Russian port of Taman to Trabzon, Turkey, when it was attacked by the drone.

One crew member working in the engine room died at the scene of the explosion. Media reports, citing a statement from the operating company, said the ship was still able to navigate under its own power and reach waters near Samsun. Two injured crew members were subsequently airlifted to a local hospital in Samsun for treatment. One crew member told Ihras news agency that the attack occurred around 1:30 a.m.

He stated, “They hit my cabin with a drone. Later, they pulled me out from under the rubble.” He added, “While I was in the medical room, a second explosion occurred. They completely destroyed the deck. There were dead and wounded there.” Robert Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian drone force, stated that Ukrainian forces attacked 13 vessels in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, including one oil tanker, 10 cargo ships, and two tugboats.

This is not the first time a Turkish vessel has been targeted by a suspected Ukrainian drone attack. In March of this year, an oil tanker belonging to a Turkish shipping company was attacked by a drone near the Bosphorus Strait after loading oil in Novorossiysk. That ship had previously been blacklisted by Ukraine.

In recent weeks, Russia has also intensified its strikes against Ukrainian military logistics targets in the Black Sea and Odessa region, targeting cargo ships and facilities that Moscow believes are involved in transporting military supplies or supporting Kyiv’s drone operations. Russia claims these strikes aim to weaken Ukraine’s ability to obtain external military aid through Black Sea ports and disrupt its drone warfare supply chains, thereby applying greater pressure on the southern front.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on Wednesday night, Russian forces attacked port infrastructure in Odessa used for unloading and storing military cargo, as well as fuel and lubricating oil storage tanks used by the Ukrainian army. The attack triggered multiple explosions and fires, causing disruptions to operations in parts of the port. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.

The Kremlin emphasized that strikes against ships transporting military supplies to Ukraine will continue. This is part of a broader Russian operation aimed at cutting off Kyiv’s maritime logistics in response to Ukraine’s “terrorist attacks” against Russian civilian and energy infrastructure. Russia stated that such operations will continue as the situation develops until it deems the threat effectively eliminated.

More on the Lincoln Reflection Pool

So yesterday Jeanine Pirro, DC attorney, dropped the charges against Olympian David Hearn.

This is a total screw up IMO. With the constant coverage by the media that President Trump’s repair of the reflection pool was a total vanity screw up that didn’t work. It was the contractor’s fault and a waste of money. The administration rushed out to defend the repair and contractor.

A Grand Jury indicted Mr. Hearn for a felony for destruction of government property. Jeanine Pirro had stated there is a significant amount of evidence that justifies the indictment.

By dropping the charge yesterday just brings this whole story back in the media to give them more ammunition to bash President Trump and they will delight in doing so.

Pirro cited new evidence from the Dept. of Interior was the reason for dropping the charges.

With the amount of coverage this had in the media you would think the DOJ would have explored every possible cause of the problem, especially the contractor and Dept. of Interior before bringing charges. They really look bad with this now that they dropped charges. Rush to indict? Weaponized DOJ, President Trumps disaster-I can hear it now.

Hearn is probably a real leftist jerk, but I hate it when we give the left opportunities to bash the administration. I have always like Pirro, but I can’t believe the Dept. of Interior had evidence that something else caused the problem rather than Hearn, especially with all the media coverage this had.

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Saturday, August 1, 2026

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR JOHN 3

Christ’s discourse with Nicodemus. (1-21) The baptism of John of Christ John’s testimony. (22-36)

1-8 Nicodemus was afraid, or ashamed to be seen with Christ, therefore came in the night. When religion is out of fashion, there are many Nicodemites. But though he came by night, Jesus bid him welcome, and hereby taught us to encourage good beginnings, although weak. And though now he came by night, yet afterward he owned Christ publicly. He did not talk with Christ about state affairs, though he was a ruler, but about the concerns of his own soul and its salvation, and went at once to them. Our Saviour spoke of the necessity and nature of regeneration or the new birth, and at once directed Nicodemus to the source of holiness of the heart. Birth is the beginning of life; to be born again, is to begin to live anew, as those who have lived much amiss, or to little purpose. We must have a new nature, new principles, new affections, new aims. By our first birth we were corrupt, shapen in sin; therefore we must be made new creatures. No stronger expression could have been chosen to signify a great and most remarkable change of state and character. We must be entirely different from what we were before, as that which begins to be at any time, is not, and cannot be the same with that which was before. This new birth is from heaven, ch. #1:13|, and its tendency is to heaven. It is a great change made in the heart of a sinner, by the power of the Holy Spirit. It means that something is done in us, and for us, which we cannot do for ourselves. Something is wrong, whereby such a life begins as shall last for ever. We cannot otherwise expect any benefit by Christ; it is necessary to our happiness here and hereafter. What Christ speak, Nicodemus misunderstood, as if there had been no other way of regenerating and new-moulding an immortal soul, than by new-framing the body. But he acknowledged his ignorance, which shows a desire to be better informed. It is then further explained by the Lord Jesus. He shows the Author of this blessed change. It is not wrought by any wisdom or power of our own, but by the power of the blessed Spirit. We are shapen in iniquity, which makes it necessary that our nature be changed. We are not to marvel at this; for, when we consider the holiness of God, the depravity of our nature, and the happiness set before us, we shall not think it strange that so much stress is laid upon this. The regenerating work of the Holy Spirit is compared to water. It is also probable that Christ had reference to the ordinance of baptism. Not that all those, and those only, that are baptized, are saved; but without that new birth which is wrought by the Spirit, and signified by baptism, none shall be subjects of the kingdom of heaven. The same word signifies both the wind and the Spirit. The wind bloweth where it listeth for us; God directs it. The Spirit sends his influences where, and when, on whom, and in what measure and degree, he pleases. Though the causes are hidden, the effects are plain, when the soul is brought to mourn for sin, and to breathe after Christ. Christ’s stating of the doctrine and the necessity of regeneration, it should seem, made it not clearer to Nicodemus. Thus the things of the Spirit of God are foolishness to the natural man. Many think that cannot be proved, which they cannot believe.

Christ’s discourse of gospel truths, ver. #11-13|, shows the folly of those who make these things strange unto them; and it recommends us to search them out. Jesus Christ is every way able to reveal the will of God to us; for he came down from heaven, and yet is in heaven. We have here a notice of Christ’s two distinct natures in one person, so that while he is the Son of man, yet he is in heaven. God is the “HE THAT IS,” and heaven is the dwelling-place of his holiness. The knowledge of this must be from above, and can be received by faith alone.

Jesus Christ came to save us by healing us, as the children of Israel, stung with fiery serpents, were cured and lived by looking up to the brazen serpent, #Nu 21:6-9|. In this observe the deadly and destructive nature of sin. Ask awakened consciences, ask damned sinners, they will tell you, that how charming soever the allurements of sin may be, at the last it bites like a serpent. See the powerful remedy against this fatal malady. Christ is plainly set forth to us in the gospel. He whom we offended is our Peace, and the way of applying for a cure is by believing. If any so far slight either their disease by sin, or the method of cure by Christ, as not to receive Christ upon his own terms, their ruin is upon their own heads. He has said, Look and be saved, look and live; lift up the eyes of your faith to Christ crucified. And until we have grace to do this, we shall not be cured, but still are wounded with the stings of Satan, and in a dying state.

Jesus Christ came to save us by pardoning us, that we might not die by the sentence of the law. Here is gospel, good news indeed. Here is God’s love in giving his Son for the world. God so loved the world; so really, so richly. Behold and wonder, that the great God should love such a worthless world! Here, also, is the great gospel duty, to believe in Jesus Christ. God having given him to be our Prophet, Priest, and King, we must give up ourselves to be ruled, and taught, and saved by him. And here is the great gospel benefit, that whoever believes in Christ, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life.

God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, and so saving it. It could not be saved, but through him; there is no salvation in any other. From all this is shown the happiness of true believers; he that believeth in Christ is not condemned. Though he has been a great sinner, yet he is not dealt with according to what his sins deserve…

A good man acts truly and sincerely in all he does. He desires to know what the will of God is, and to do it, though against his own worldly interest. A change in his whole character and conduct has taken place. The love of God is shed abroad in his heart by the Holy Ghost, and is become the commanding principle of his actions. So long as he continues under a load of unforgiven guilt, there can be little else than slavish fear of God; but when his doubts are done away, when he sees the righteous ground whereon this forgiveness is built, he rests on it as his own, and is united to God by unfeigned love. Our works are good when the will of God is the rule of them, and the glory of God the end of them; when they are done in his strength, and for his sake; to him, and not to men. Regeneration, or the new birth, is a subject to which the world is very averse; it is, however, the grand concern, in comparison with which every thing else is but trifling. What does it signify though we have food to eat in plenty, and variety of raiment to put on, if we are not born again? if after a few mornings and evenings spent in unthinking mirth, carnal pleasure, and riot, we die in our sins, and lie down in sorrow? What does it signify though we are well able to act our parts in life, in every other respect, if at last we hear from the Supreme Judge, “Depart from me, I know you not, ye workers of iniquity?”

Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer for My Son in Heaven (KJV Style)

O Lord, our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done,
As it is in heaven, so in earth.

I lift up my heart to Thee,
My son, now in the light of Thy presence,
And I pray for Thee, O Lord,
That Thou wilt grant him peace,
And fill his soul with Thy eternal love.

Surround him with the angels of Thy mercy,
And let his spirit rest in the everlasting light.
May he find joy in Thy presence,
And be free from sorrow and pain.

O Lord, I am a mother/father,
And my heart is heavy with grief.
But I trust in Thy mercy,
And I know that he is safe in Thy care.

Thou art near to the brokenhearted,
And Thou wilt comfort me,
And help me to find peace in remembering him.

For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.

Amen

WHO AM I

Who am I that God cares for me
Who is it I am supposed to be
What is it I am called to do
What makes me so worthy of You

Have you ever pondered God
Have you ever wondered broad
Have you ever concentrated
Have you ever contemplated – God

Did you know that you are blessed
With gifts and talents and zest
Have you ever considered why
You are the apple of God’s eye

We have jobs, titles, and responsibilities
Accountabilities acceptabilities permeabilities
No matter how confusing it all may be
God has a purpose and plan for thee

When guided by the Holy Spirit
We are inspired if we can hear it
The voice of God from within
Where to go when to begin

We believe and we receive
Thus we are able to achieve
Because God wills it all for us
We obey – He gives us the plus

We are here on an eternal quest
On our pathway we are but a guest
This life is our test to be worthy
For where we will end this journey

Have you ever been asked
To do something overtasked
Impossible for you but not for Him
God did not choose you on a whim

God knows the beginning and the end
It is your free will that may not bend
To His Will we must be fully aware
Only way to know is through prayer

Whatever He asks of you on cue
You must be willing and able to do
You must obey His daily demand
It is not a wish – it is a command

So if you are daily thinking
How to God’s plan you be linking
Listen to what the Spirit asks of you
Then you will know just what to do

If failure plagues you – anxiety too
If life in general is making you blue
If you are lost without a compass
Get off your bum kick up a rumpus

The trick to making the duress stop
Is to get up and move till you plop
Override the mental with exercise
Be not fearful – just be otherwise

God has a remedy for whatever ails you
Tap into His Spirit – sit not and just stew
For greater is He who lives within
Than he whose goal is to mire in sin

Know that God wants only what is best
For you to successfully complete the test
Develop those gifts and talents for your story
Give Him the effort He deserves for His Glory

Good morning, C&C, it’s Saturday! Your Weekend Edition roundup includes: the story of how progressives sued the mail-ballot Executive Order in two different courts at once and accidentally lawfared themselves into a circuit split, delivering the real voting fight to the Supreme Court while everybody stood around watching the SAVE Act; why a humble barcode may accomplish what sixty Senate votes never will; the Canada tariff war everyone assumed was over, back at the maximum legal setting, with a hit list — wine, cement, hockey sticks — that reads like the receipt from a Winnipeg bachelor party, with an exemption list shaped suspiciously like the only two provinces that still like us; Alberta’s independence referendum landing later this year, entirely by coincidence, I’m sure; and young conservatives rehabilitating Richard Nixon on a strict regimen of rap edits and merch, a comeback going considerably better than anything the man managed while he was alive.

Sir ES

Thanks for posting C&C daily – always a good synopsis of current events!

And in other news from the Anons on Q Research:

The wiped phone should be interesting. There was no warrant and he was denied the right to a lawyer.

On the other hand the laws within 100 miles of the US border are different than normal laws.

Happy go lucky

What?! Do you mean because it’s an international airport?

Atlanta is more than 100 miles from the coast.

pgroup

Technically, the international arrivals area is akin to no-mans-land. The inspections are because someone is trying to enter the U.S.A.

An example of this was a few years ago someone didn’t have the right papers and was denied entry to Russia at the Moscow Airport. He was stuck in the international area for quite some time. Kindly Russians gave him food and bedding. I don’t know the outcome.

The last six words of the article’s link / title gives it away – they are STILL pushing the “warming” canard!

Why admit everything EXCEPT the final truth?

We’re in a cooling phase / epoch – thousands+ years – and they like to assert the opposite of reality.

Unless / until they wish to try to pull off the same scam down the line.

“Save the “warming” propaganda; trash everything else.

No admission, no contrition, no integrity. Incorrigible.

https://rumble.com/v7dkotw-8.1.26-central-banks-make-significant-gold-purchases-why-what-this-means-fo.html

Sir ES

They are hedging their bets – because if gold reaches $8,500 – $9,000 per ounce, the EU Minister (Ursula von Leden [sp?]) said that that level would *bankrupt* ALL the Central Banks the Roths own.

The more gold they buy, the less exposure they are liable for.

It’s somewhat of an arbitrage tactic, playing two markets’ pricings against one another.

Yet, it’s a *tremendous* tell that their very existence is dependent on gold – REAL, physical gold, not paper promises…

Gail Combs

Or on the derivatives market.

Sir ES

Yes – “derivatives’ qualify as paper promises.

It’s the same thing – valuing “contracts” rather than the underlying assets.

That’s how the scales are rigged, having derivatives’ clout overwhelm ACTUAL clout.

Manipulation to the nth degree!

REVOKING visas

President Donald Trump’s State Department has started revoking visas for foreign nationals arrested for drunk driving, agency officials announced this week.

“The Trump Administration is keeping reckless foreign drivers off our streets by revoking visas and denying further travel to the United States,” officials wrote in a statement. “The State Department is keeping our streets safe from foreign nationals who drive impaired, disregard laws, and endanger Americans.”

Among those foreign nationals who have had their visas revoked is one who was recently arrested for drunk driving, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest with violence, and domestic violence.

“Outrageous and dangerous behavior that endangers American communities will never be tolerated,” officials wrote. “Visa revoked.”

Others for whom the agency has revoked visas include:

A foreign national was arrested for aggravated DUI with a blood alcohol level nearly double the legal limit and a minor in the vehicle. Reckless behavior that puts a child’s life at risk on America’s roads is unacceptable. Visa revoked.

Another foreign national was arrested for DUI with a blood alcohol level more than 3x the legal limit. The driver then showed up drunk to a court-mandated DUI program. No more second chances for foreign visitors who put American lives at risk. Visa revoked.

A foreign national was arrested for DUI and causing injury to another person. Foreigners who threaten American lives aren’t welcome in the United States. Visa revoked.

One foreign national was arrested for driving with heroin and a blood alcohol level more than 3x the legal limit. Flagrant abuse of America’s hospitality won’t be tolerated. Visa revoked.

“Under President Trump, the State Department will continue to revoke the visas of foreigners who endanger our citizens and will always put the safety of Americans first,” officials wrote.

The news comes as the State Department, under the direction of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, has also begun revoking visas for foreign nationals who have been arrested and convicted of fraud.

THIS would be an awesome idea!

Gail Combs

I know this is a touchy subject, but rumor has it there are a lot of dual Israeli citizenship among others.

Badlands: House Passes Defense Bill That Includes US Mil Tech Swap With Israel

The House has passed the FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which includes provisions to expand cooperation between the US and Israel on defense technology and industrial production. The measure directs the Defense Department to explore greater integration of certain defense supply chains, joint research and development, and expanded collaboration on military technologies.

The bill also includes funding for existing US-Israel missile defense programs and other security initiatives. The legislation now moves to the Senate, where lawmakers will consider their own version before any final bill can be sent to the president.

I did not like it when Clinton sold our MILITARY technology to China and I do not like this either. AMERICA FIRST!!! And that means keeping our military secrets SECRET! (I do not like Five Eyes either.)

CLINTON for those who were unaware

From my old notes.

As president, Bill Clinton essentially wiped out any strategic advantage the U.S. had by selling advanced U.S. missile technology to our enemy, the People’s Republic of China.

That “administration’s voluntary release of all the secrets of America’s nuclear tests, combined with the systematic theft of the secrets that were left as a result of its lax security controls, effectively wiped out America’s technological edge,” David Horowitz writes in the recently published, The Black Book of the American Left Volume 7: The Left in Power: Clinton to Obama.

Unlike the administrations that preceded it, the Clinton administration accepted millions of dollars from the military and intelligence services of at least one hostile foreign power. All of this was done in exchange for illegal campaign contributions from a massive totalitarian country determined to eclipse the U.S. as a world superpower.

President Clinton also lifted security controls, allowing thieves to access other vital military technologies, while disarming his own side and opposing needed defenses.

“One of the key technological breaks China received, without having to spy to get it, was the deliverance of supercomputers once banned from export for security reasons,” writes Horowitz.

“Supercomputers underpin the technology of nuclear and missile warfare, and not only for firing and controlling the missiles. A supercomputer can simulate a nuclear test and is thus crucial to the development of nuclear warheads. But, according to a Washington Post editorial: ‘In the first three quarters of 1998 nine times as many [supercomputers] were exported [to China] as during the previous seven years.’”

“This transfer,” he writes, “was authorized three years after the spy thefts were detected. What rationale—besides stupidity, greed, or some other equally indefensible motive—could justify this? What responsible president or administration official, at any relevant level in any government, would allow the massive transfer of national-security assets like these to a dictatorship they knew had stolen their country’s most highly guarded military secrets?”

Back in the 1990s, … longtime Clinton bagman Terry McAuliffe, now governor of Virginia, set records raising money for the Clintons. In that era congressional investigators unearthed an elaborate Communist Chinese money-laundering scheme.”

Well my childhood home is now on the market, which feels sort of surreal given my parents moved in there when pregnant with me in 1964. They were renting in East Dearborn as newlyweds & Mom was massively pregnant when they annoyed their landlord with a too-loud holiday gathering & were given 2 weeks notice to vacate. They found the home that they lived in for the rest of their lives. Strange times…

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/19036-Outer-Dr-Dearborn-MI-48128/160166131_zpid/

I’m meeting with the Estate Attorney on Monday morning to discuss the hopeful purchases of the “Luzerne Hilton” hunting “cabin” & The Cottage, both in Northern Michigan. Not sure if any other aspects of the estate situation will be on the table as our situation is more “complex” than what she usually deals with…

Hopefully the house will sell well & facilitate these desired real estate acquisitions, God willing. My Executor/Trustee brother wants me to make an offer on The Cottage before my son Brandon’s wedding, which is the middle of this month.

It’s still rather strange times chez moi. I’d appreciate prayers for God’s strength, guidance, favor, grace, & will to be done in Each of our lives. Hopefully we’ll get through the many moving parts relatively unscathed but it’s been quite a challenge on Many levels for each of us…

Edit: The Realtor.com listing says there is actually an open house today. It would be awesome if there is a “bidding war” to keep the price high & even have it sell above asking. God’s will be done

Edit: I forgot to mention that my dad & I put in the wallpaper in my old bedroom (yellowish floral paper) so seeing that empty room in the real estate pics makes me think of him again & so many other memories. My mom’s dad installed the desk & window seat in my room too…That wallpaper was actual paper with paste & it was Very Touchy. My dad, with an engineering background, had lots of “fun” working around some of the funky angles there too 😉 It’s lasted almost 4 decades!

you had a nice big room!!! and a great floor!

pgroup

It’s an attic room. The pics make it look bigger than it really is.

Valerie Curren

Well it wasn’t exactly an attic room as much as a dormer room if you look at the front of the house. There was an attic upstairs accessible through the linen closet at the top of the stairs though. But yes the pic does make it look bigger than the 10 X 20 it apparently is per the real estate listing 🙂

comment image

In this picture my old bedroom is on the top left. BTW my little bro, who had his own contracting business for a while, put in the nice covered porch & reclaimed the cedar shingles on the upstairs of this Cape Cod home. He also redid both bathrooms, installed a very nice run of cabinets, countertop, & a desk, & refinished the backroom with a very tasteful ragged paint treatment.

View into the backroom showing cabinets & desk little bro did & some of the wall coloring, looks blue green but it was done w/ 3 colors (blue, green, & brown), I think 🙂

comment image

The re-done downstairs master bath accessible from both the MBR & back room hallway off the kitchen. There is a heated floor, skylight, & the elevated sink bowls that were a bit of a rage in a number of my little bro’s upscale remodels he was doing for fairly wealthy clients at the time.

comment image

The upstairs bath got a major facelift from the 1940s peach & black tile treatment that was so common stylistically in houses of that era. Fortunately our house from the same time period was done in powder blue & white, which is much easier to work with decoratively. Mike redid the tiles on the floor & updated everything in the room though I think someone else did one of those bath inserts in white for the tub area. The wainscotting was especially nice as were the ragged walls. The color scheme complemented my parents’ “subtle” cardinal decor for that room too

comment image

Valerie Curren

Well I only had that room for a few years as a teen. Most of my life I lived in the downstairs bedroom that was about 8 X 10 before my parents put the back room addition on that also expanded the size of that downstairs bedroom.

comment image

This image is of the main floor bedroom now, my parents’ room. If you see where the header drops down from the ceiling, it approaches the left side of the window, that is where the old back wall of the house was. When it was my bedroom there was just a basic sash window on the far wall & another one on the left wall that looked out into the backyard. My dad had a grid patterned sheet of paper & proportional pieces of posterboard representing the furniture pieces so we could fit my bedroom set into that room strategically.

I had to live in the basement during the very long renovation season but then eventually got moved into what became that yellow (not my favorite color LOL) bedroom as my brothers moved into my parents’ old room as it had 2 closets. My hubby lived in my upstairs room for about a year when he was working downstate & living w/ my parents on weekdays & coming home to our home in Gaylord on weekends as we tried selling our home by ownner before we all moved to Metro Detroit, before the boys & I–heavily pregnant–moved in very temporarily while we awaited access to our current home 🙂 There were some crazy times for a while!

I also lived in the bedroom for about 2 1/2 months when the twins were born & we did the reverse of the above w/ Michael working in Gaylord living in our home & coming to be with the family on the weekends. The twins were in the NICU w/ Brandon there for 10 days & Josiah for 2 1/2 months, J having been transported by ambulance to U of M for his first open heart surgery when he was just 2 months old & 4 pounds. We only got to be home for less than a week as J got RSV & he & I got to ride the ambulance down from Gaylord back to U of M & then I was back in my room w/ the boys for another couple of weeks as we waited for J to get better…strange days!

Gail Combs

Given that photo, I hope it sells for a nice high price so you can get your northern cottage. As far as a bid on the cottage goes. I would wait until the house sells so you know what type of $$$ you have to play with.

Valerie Curren

Well that is all nice in theory. I think I might have to make some type of contingency offer to keep to my brother’s timelines however. Because he has virtually unlimited estate power I very much do not want to upset the applecart as much as possible.

He did indicate that both of my brothers don’t want me to have to take out a mortgage/loan to get the Cottage so they Could be implying that they’d be willing to accept less funding than the “assessed value” so as to keep it in the family.

It could also be interpreted that they will sell the Cottage off to the highest bidder to max out the funding acquired for everyone’s inheritence. It will be interesting to see what info the Estate Attorney might be able to bring to the table on all of this.

The way things are developing it could turn out that I have to forgo most of my financial inheritence to aquire properties that have inherent value but willl “never” be converted to funding, at least not for several generations. It’s in God’s hands…

Here’s an example of how the Cottage is suddenly being treated differently since the “appraisal” was done…sigh…my dad thought the place was worth about $120,000 based on cold offers he’d received for the place pretty recently…

Tax assessed value
$55,900
964 Lily St, Gaylord, MI 49735
beds

baths

sqft

from the older Zillow listing

Tax assessed value
$215,400
964 Lily St, Gaylord, MI 49735
3
beds
2
baths
1,70

from a newer Zillow listing, presumably since my brother had an “assessor” go through…

btw there can only technically be 2 BRs as the 3rd room is a porch w/out a closet that has been used as a bunkroom, one side has a bunk bed (used to be in my bros’ BR at my parents’ home) & a hospital bed & the other side has a futon bunk bed w/ the bottom portion a couch that folds out into a double bed.

comment image
Usually the assessed value is considered to be about double the taxable value unless it is near a re-set from a purchase, at least that is my understanding for Michigan. In our case we very much don’t want to see a major tax increase, which we are supposed to be protected from in the event we purchase the property from the Estate.

Here’s tax info from the lower priced zillow page for comparison

Thank you so much for the update.
What a terrific room! Of course you’d have all kinds of memories about it.
If it’s possible, talk to the Realtor handling the sale of the family home and see if you can get copies of all the photos. Some real estate companies will do this for free for family members; some will charge a fee.

Please pardon the question, but what’s up with brother/Executor, putting you under pressure to come up with an “offer” for the Cottage within the next two weeks? Is there some kind of documented time frame in the Trust or other documents written by your late father for selling assets (including real estate) and getting the Estate closed?

Last edited 7 days ago by PAVACA

just my 2 cents…brothers are a bother.
from my experience, they have cooties, they’re smelly, and generally PITA’s.

Valerie Curren

LOL Both of my brothers were PITAs when we were growing up LOL

Valerie Curren

I believe my brother wants the Cottage on the market while there are still Summer season buyers around, if we can’t pull the purchase off ourselves. He did at least indicate that he’d prefer to sell it to me, if possible, so that’s a partial relief.

There is a timeline in the Estate documents, but it’s Much longer than the way my bro & SIL have been handling things…sigh…

Thanks for the tips on the photos. I suppose I can just keep copies for myself from the websites without jumping through any hoops. My bro changed the locks on the house at the suggestion of the Estate Sale people so I am trying to maintain a very low profile regarding anything connected to our parents’ home 🙂

PAVACA1

Thank you. One had suspicions that sibling/Executor could have a shorter timeline compared to was written into the Trust or other Estate documents from your father.
If it’s possible to use the photos from the Realtor listing without the Realtor company name or stamp on them, great. I had to get “clean” photo copies from the Realtor who sold the house in Virginia—the ones on the website had the company name on each one.

Valerie Curren

Thank you for that extra info.

It is nice to actually see the old bones of that house in such a clear, uncluttered way (not how it ever was in living there). I hope your photos from VA give you comfort.

I have mixed feelings about All of it, to be honest…

Happy go lucky

It will get easier, I think it will get easier, I hope it will get easier for you. Not to make it about me, but I had something very similar happen to me when my dad passed away, property and land that he had designated for me, siblings and mom all in agreement ahead of time, then poof. It’s has gotten easier for me, time and God are great healers.

Valerie Curren

Oh Happy, I’m so sorry for the upheaval & heartache you have gone through. Over here it is complicated by the mixed emotions about all the upheaval surrounding my dad’s death & the immediate aftermath…

In some ways it seems/feels like both of my brothers just want to scrape off everything connected to our parents, personal & real property, & just get on with life & inherited funds.

If I thought the same way this whole process wouldn’t be nearly as complex but my side of the family is practically the only family my kids have ever known & all of it matters to each one of us in complex ways.

Thanks for thinking of me & for your encouragement. May God Richly Bless YOU & Restore Whatever the cankerworm stole!

cthulhu

Maybe you could rig up a secret bidder to put in a low-ball bid. If he accepts it, you can complete the sale and go, “surprise, it’s really me!”. If he rejects it, he can look more favorably on your bid.

Valerie Curren

Well, the Cottage is Not on the market at this point & shouldn’t be if I’m able to get an appropriate purchase agreement lined up before the (artificial) deadline…Thanks for the thought though!

Aubergine

I am meeting with an estate attorney this month to add some provisions to my will preventing this kind of crap. Nobody will do anything except pay necessary expenses related to my death, bills, or upkeep to things for the first three months is my plan. We’ll see what the attorney says.

Valerie Curren

Please do tell us all what you learn! Hope it goes very well for you 🙂

cthulhu

Back in the day, it hardly needed to be said. When preparing an estate tax return, you had to declare the assets’ value at the date of death or at the alternative valuation date six months later. Thus, nobody would hurry in case the alternative valuation date meant less tax.

Since then, Congress revamped the system so that most estates don’t pay tax.

Valerie Curren

I would love to get out of any tax related to the Estate. The bulk of inheritable monies are in the form of Beneficiary IRAs & apparently they were created with pre-tax monies so that taxes will be owed when taking funds out. From the little I understand we’ll have to pull all the funds out within 10 years but can do so creatively & piecemeal to minimize the tax penalty. One financial guy we spoke with made it sound like the tax laws will likely change, based on past trajectory, before the 10 years is up…

cthulhu

Let’s start with the beginning….income taxes on an IRA are income taxes, just deferred until the IRA is “cashed-in”. Estate taxes are a different beastie, depending on assets that were purchased with previously taxed money, taxed again at their value at the date of death. They are an abomination.

There is a minimum required distribution based on — of all things — the life expectancy of the deceased. I kid you not. Let’s say that the IRS’ lifetime table for the deceased showed that he likely had 10 years left. You’d have to distribute (and reflect in beneficiary income) 1/10 of the value in year 1. Year 2, you’d have to distribute 1/9 of the remaining value. Year 3, 1/8 of the remaining value after that….and so on. Mind you, IRAs likely have a bunch of volatile items tucked away in there, and can easily go up or down in value by 25% every year.

In preparing the estate tax return, IRAs are counted as part of the taxable estate (I told you it was an abomination). If you end up paying taxes on it, you can offset part of the income tax on a beneficiary return by the estate tax previously paid. This is described as “Income in Respect of a Decedent.”

I wouldn’t bet on the laws changing (or not changing) within 10 years or 20. Often the frameworks stay the same while quibbly bits around the edges get adjusted.

Of course, if Patriots seize Washington DC and forcibly reduce it to its Constitutional limits, all bets are off.

Valerie Curren

I’m guessing/assuming The Estate would be the final IRS filing in 2027 for a decedant who died in 2026 & not (necessarily) my responsibility as one beneficiary of the decedant?

I dread the possibility of working with a tax “expert” for 2027 as I’ve never done so before in 4 1/2 decades of doing my/our taxes…sigh…

Thanks for the insights…again…Blessings!

Gudthots

If you inherit a portion of an IRA, it’s not too difficult to figure out the details as given above. Especially if you use some tax software to run the numbers again as a sanity check.

I inherited a small sliver of an IRA from an aunt and the only real effort for me was to move it to a different brokerage provider early on. That provider asked for the birthdate of the aunt and a few other details.

Every year they tell me how much I am required to take out that year. It is taxed as “ordinary income” which is the same rate as wage earnings.

Only “tax planning” would be to decide how much to take out over that amount each year.

Valerie Curren

TY Gudthots as that makes it sound a bit more manageable. It’s kind of hard to deal with change when getting older & lots of moving parts makes it hard (for me & my hubby) to get a good handle on several aspects of our current & developing situation. Blessings!

Aubergine

Interesting. I don’t know which is better, lol.

Gudthots

Many years ago an elder in our family passed and it was strongly recommended to quickly get a evaluation on the house. Which was done. Then, just as you said, when the house was sold many months later at a lower price, the estate was able to have a favorable tax outcome in some way.

Happy go lucky

It’s a lovely home, pure Americana, the floors are stunning. Thank you so much Happy that is so sweet & encouraging.

I think that I wanted the hardwood floors exposed in my room instead of carpet but it’s so long ago I’m not really sure any more LOL

To me the republicans need to learn a lot about law fare and use it when so needed if this is ever to be fixed. A presidential pardon does not stop the justice department from investigating, indicting, prosecuting, and convicting a person that has received a presidential pardon. Crimes against humanity, lying under oath, obstructing a federal Senate investigation, illegally funding gain of function viruses, having federal employees on the federal payroll filing paperwork for someone to get rich, etc. All of these crimes can be prosecuted even without a prison sentence. Once a person is found guilty of any of these crimes it would not only open them up to state and civil lawsuits, which I believe is what is deserved, it also would be grounds to strip them of a pension, federal benefits and all issued licenses. Makes sense to me. The democrats have no problem putting innocent people behind bars like Peter Navarro, Steve Bannon, Roger Stone and thousands of others. The communist didn’t seem to have a problem putting an innocent 79 year old former president in prison for 400 years! There’s a lesson here to be learned, if you live by the sword you die by the sword.

A diary, which is said by a plaintiff to be their own personal unredacted diary (big mistake), can prove so many lies and guilt. The Beaton down American taxpayer deserves justice to be served.

J.Goodrich

Wolf Moon

Yup.

pgroup

Nope, not quite.

Overall, that could be the outcome. But once the ‘pardon’ is presented as an affirmative defense to the criminal charge AND the defendant asks for the judge to rule on its validity, it depends on the judge’s ruling. No matter what he/she rules, an immediate request for appellate review will be made AND a stay of the case will be issued pending review.

Then the appellate court or SCOTUS [depending on where review is sought] will decide.

SCOTUS will not be hurried and will stay all lower court action until it has decided.

Immediate satisfaction will NOT be had by anyone. 🙃

Here is another, but excellent analysis of not only the Palestinian deal but the whole Middle East:

Some of you are telling me the Gaza deal can’t last. You’re not seeing the whole board.

There are two default assumptions at work here.

The first is that Islamist radicals can just spontaneously produce missiles, guns, and money from thin air. They can’t.

The second is just general black pilling, which is frankly stupid. So you’re demoralized: big whoop. You’d have been more demoralized in the summer of 1940, or for that matter of 1942. And you’d have been just as wrong. Get over yourself. Look at the facts.

First, Israel beat the crap out of Hamas, one of the most bloodthirsty terrorist groups on Earth. They are as murderous with their own people as with the Israelis, and have been for decades. It is no accident that since Israel handed Gaza to the Palestinians in 2006, the Christian Arab population there has been “reduced” by 2/3. And that’s not a lot different from the West Bank Palestinians, who upon gaining control of Bethlehem “reduced” its Christian population from 80% to about 10%, or the PLO and Hezbollah in Lebanon, where the Christian population was about 54% before the Civil War and is now about 37%.

The people pretending that it’s the Jews who are killing Christians are willfully blind, and intentionally blinding you.

No matter what you think of Israel, Hamas is evil. They went too far in 2023, as they were always going to do, and Israel has defeated them. They can no longer field an effective military force. They cannot resupply. They’re done.

Can individual or small groups of militants kill people? Sure. But there’s no longer any sanctuary, and the days of your tax money being funneled through the PA to pay for suicide bombers are long over (although if you live in Tim Walz’s Minnesota, that is not true of Somalia).

The black pill types told us nine months ago that the peace would not last a week and that Trump could never pull off the deal agreed to yesterday. Yet here we are, nine months later, and he has. “Oh, it won’t last,” you say, but you said that last October, and the peace has held. Why? Israel cut off Hamas’s ability to fight, while Trump cut off its ability to resupply. It’s that simple.

Second, the reason that’s simple is that Hamas’s three chief patrons were Iran, which now can’t get ships in or out of its own ports, along with Turkey and Qatar. Trump has reduced Qatar to a U.S. protectorate. He’s dealmaking with the Turks on F-35s and the disposition of Syria, including new oil pipelines (to be built and owned by U.S. oil companies). Turkey suddenly needs peace to achieve its own ends; Qatar simply has nowhere to go. And Hamas has no one to ship them weapons or pay their bills.

They could have made Gaza into the Riviera. Instead they dug up the water and sewer pipes to make missiles they fired for two decades at schools. So now the Board of Peace will build what they did not.

Third, they’ll do that because no one hates Hamas as much as the Arabs. Every country the Palestinians have entered in any numbers, they’ve immediately plunged into civil war. No one wants them anywhere near anything important. Egypt’s wall along its border with Gaza makes a maximum security prison look like a sand castle. It has no such wall along its Israeli border. There’s a reason.

Trump has carefully cultivated enormous business and investment deals with every regional power. He’s gone out of his way to give them things they need and want, from the Saudi nuclear power deal to the Turks’ favorite installed in Damascus. Their interests are interlocked with ours, and tightening by the day. Everyone now profits from peace. The Palestinians are in their way.

Fourth, a massive generational shift is underway. The old timers wanted a Palestinian state, so long as it was safely contained somewhere else, and they used it to show they were “tough” against Israel when in war after war they’d been shown to be impotent. it was low cost and (moderately) higher reward for them.

Their children, exemplified by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), are sick of it. They WANT peace with Israel. They want to make money in Israel, and they want the Israelis to bring tech and investment to them. Even more so, they want military and intelligence cooperation, which all of them badly need. They have none of their parents’ sentimental attachment to long-dead Palestinian leaders or decades-old lost wars. And Trump is daily incentivizing them to double down.

Fifth, why? Because Trump knows three things the black pill guys do not:

A. Trump knows that prosperous countries rarely attack one another.

B. Trump knows Americans can make fortunes in the Middle East if peace is the rule rather than the exception, and that will never be achieved through a Bush-style occupation. He also knows that we can save fortunes if we don’t have to worry about the Middle East anymore.

C. Trump knows that without money, you’re done. And he knows how to cut off the cash.

No one funds Hamas now. No one funds Hezbollah now. A Lebanese peace requires a stable, functioning Lebanese government and the dismantling of Iran’s proxy army on Israel’s northern border — the one that has also occupied and terrorized Lebanon for half a century.

So Trump let Israel annihilate Hamas, which has now unconditionally surrendered. He also let it beat Hezbollah into submission. On the ground, these were the two biggest obstacles to regional peace, now each shattered.

And now we have a way to give everyone what they want in both countries: a Palestinian state under new management, military and intelligence cooperation with Israel, Israeli energy exports to Egypt and Jordan (and Syria and Lebanon soon enough), and the restoration of Lebanon as “the Paris of the Middle East” as it was before the civil war.

Sixth, most people watching see these as disconnected issues. They aren’t. They never were. But neither is Syria, under new management and (despite its sordid past) desperate to balance Turkish, Israeli, Saudi, and U.S. power so it can have the breathing room to avoid becoming Ankara’s colony. Suddenly it has an intense interest in peace as well; just as suddenly, it is no longer an essential Russian outpost or a colony of Tehran.

And also neither is Iraq, where pro-Iranian militias have wreaked havoc for 20 years. Those days are over. Iraq’s new President is disarming the militias and arresting their leaders. The militias spent the early part of this year reinforcing the IRGC in its massacre and crackdown on the Iranian people. They’re also the final obstacle to a durable peace — and economic development, and pipeline construction, and prosperity — in Iraq itself.

Seventh, all these roads lead one place: Iran. The Islamic regime is the primary source of funding, armament, and direction for the bad guys in every armed conflict in the region: literally all of them. Tehran used all these proxies to build a de facto Persian Empire from Baghdad to Beirut and from Abadan to Aden. That’s gone now. It won’t be coming back.

Eighth, the Iran war has shown the Gulf Arab states that the Iranian really is a clear and present danger, not a convenient idiocracy that keeps its country from becoming a rich regional power. Months of Iranian bombardment of Arab hotels, water plants, airports, and shipping have been more persuasive than decades of American leaders. Now Saudi Arabia carries out joint attacks on Iran with the U.S.; so do Kuwait and the UAE. And with a host of currency swap lines, nuclear power deals, and direct military support, Trump is drawing all of them closer to the U.S. by the day.

Ninth, all that works because of what doesn’t. China is a nonfactor. Supposedly Iran’s ally (much like it was supposedly Russia’s “ally without limits” while it pushed Putin into his Ukrainian quagmire), China hasn’t lifted a finger. Rumors of shoulder-fired missile shipments are just that: rumors. But if true, they’re the exception that proves the rule. China is NOT sending advanced fighter jets, not at any price. China is NOT sending troops. China is NOT sending its Navy. If anything, it’s sparring with the U.S. over the pending Taiwan arms sale…but only very, very gently.

No one in the Middle East is stupid enough not to understand what China calls “the Malacca Dilemma”. 80% of its oil has to flow through the Strait of Malacca. The U.S. already had de facto control of the chokepoint; it has turned that into control into a chokehold with its new defense pact with the heretofore “Non-Aligned” Indonesia. It’s also flipped India, which not only signed an “impossible” February trade deal with Trump (or so said the black pillers) but immediately began capturing illegal Russian Shadow Fleet oil tankers.

Iran has to use that Shadow Fleet too: 90% of its exports are to China. But China hasn’t lifted a finger, and India doesn’t care. That was even before Trump sealed Iran’s ports tight.

Tenth, all of this has required complex negotiations with at least a dozen countries that mostly don’t like each other, and all of that takes time. If you see Trump call a cease fire to “negotiate” with Iran, don’t be dumb: he’s actually using that time to negotiate with Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and Oman, and Qatar, and Bahrain, and Kuwait, and Iraq, and Syria, and Lebanon, and Turkey, and Israel. Iran is a threat to every one of them, and in many cases has been their murderous oppressor. They’re skittish, they’re gunshy, they know their militaries are strong on paper but weak in fact, and like all people, inertia has kept them in the long status quo. But Trump has destroyed that status quo: it is never coming back. And slowly, every country in the region is getting the point and getting on board.

How Iran finishes is almost irrelevant. Oh, you’re not going to believe our expanded target package over the next few weeks. The prospect of a successful Iranian revolution and a free Iran is very, very real. A free Iran would be the greatest investment opportunity of the 2030s, and everyone would benefit, no matter how much change is tough.

But at this point it wouldn’t matter. Iran spent trillions of its people’s money on underground complexes in which to build nuclear weapons and the ICBMs to load them on. It has literally nothing left to show for it. And every day it threatens Hormuz or the Bab al-Mandab is other day that it’s well-armed, wealthy neighbors become more determined that it can never be allowed to rise again. If the U.S. doesn’t finish Iran, the Arabs will.

Trump plays the part of a chaos agent. He does this to keep all his enemies off balance. He’s been telling you this on video and in print since at least 1987. If you can’t see the play, that’s on you.

But no one ever does the homework. So it keeps on working for him. He’s remaking the Middle East no matter what happens in Iran, and our grandchildren will thank him, not just for peace but for the prosperity that comes from it. What they won’t remember is your black pill foolishness, your temporary gas price inconvenience, or your inability to see the world being transformed before your eyes.

Which is good. You want your grandchildren to respect you, after all.

TradeBait2

BREAKING: Major Mitch McConnell Hospital Update — What They’re Not Telling You!!!

TheseTruths

That’s an interesting take that makes sense. Turley reiterates that August 3rd is the deadline for the governor to appoint a replacement. If McConnell is not deemed unfit for office by that date, then if he retires early or is found to be unable to serve after that date, the seat would stay vacant until after the midterms and until January when Congress is sworn in. That would leave the Repubs one vote short (RINOs).

So there is a possibility that McConnell could be in better shape than some think and that he is delaying his return to Congress until after August 3rd. In that case, he wouldn’t want people to see that he could be present for votes, etc. After August 3rd he could decide to retire, and no one could take his place until January.

Alternatively, If McConnell is not in shape to ever return to the Senate and he wants to sabotage the Trump agenda, he could be delaying a decision to announce his retirement in order to keep his seat vacant.

In either scenario, it would behoove him to keep his condition quiet. This would be a snake-like tactic akin to things that No-name McCain did. IMO someone should have visited him a long time ago.

Wolf Moon

The governor being a somewhat sleazy Demmunist, I can see why McTurtle would want to make sure Andy Sheep-shears can’t replace him.

TheseTruths

That would explain why some Repubs are going along with the extended absence, and why they would want to wait until after the 3rd (Monday) for anything to be done.

duchess01

Beshears is up for reelection in 2027 – he does not want a special election – he wants to replace McConnell – the Repubs are keeping him in the dark with these picture games and phony phone conversations –

IMHO – McConnell had a stroke 43 plus days ago – and cannot talk – why he is apparently silent – and others are doing the talking for him – he might have already died when they found him unconscious – Dunno

Chao is not a good actress – she knows and is not talking, either !!!

Sick of this game – I am !!!

Wolf Moon

I think you may very well be on the money! That explains things nicely. And the Demmunists aren’t digging too deeply on this, because they use that move ALL THE TIME.

TheseTruths

If McConnell has not been able to talk all this time, then Scott Jennings and some senators lied when they said they had talked with him. On the other hand, if McConnell had a stroke and was not able to talk very well, it’s possible they talked with him but knew he was in bad shape and had a long way to go.

duchess01

I am skeptical about those conversations – a bit too detailed coming from a man who could not logically speak in sentences for months –

Lied ? More like embellished !!! Maybe only one person was doing all the talking and it wasn’t McConnell…

Just thinking out loud here…disappointed in Jennings…

To be guaranteed a republican form of govt [what each state requires upon admission], one must have equal standing with other equals.

Thus, a law that prevents appointment [Aug 3 deadline law] must be unconstitutional and unenforceable especially regarding federal offices.

“SCOTUS made it very clear that lower courts cannot suspend TPS. Yet, an Obama-appointed judge is defying the Court and the Constitution in an attempt to subvert the will of the President,” Ogles said in a statement provided to Just the News.

Trump Just ENDED Britain’s 50-Year Middle East Game

patfrederick

long, but quick read.
Bill Gates destroys an entire ecosystem

Renowned wildlife biologist Forrest Galante erupted during an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, accusing Bill Gates and his foundation of helping destroy one of Africa’s most important freshwater fisheries through a disastrous mosquito-net program.

Galante said the foundation distributed millions of tightly woven nets across communities near the Cahora Bassa Delta to combat malaria.

However, starving residents used the nets to catch fish instead.

Because mosquito nets contain extremely small holes, Galante said they indiscriminately captured juvenile fish before they could mature and reproduce, devastating a fishery relied upon by millions of people.

‘I’m Gonna Go on a F*cking Tirade’

Galante raised the issue while speaking with Rogan about wildlife and conservation in Africa.

“Do you know what they did fucking in the Cahora Bassa Delta with their mosquito nets?” Galante asked.

“No. What’d they do?” Rogan responded.

“Dude, I’m gonna go on a f*cking tirade here,” Galante warned.

“Please do,” Rogan replied.

Galante said the Gates Foundation entered African villages with a plan to reduce malaria by distributing mosquito nets.

“Okay, so the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation decided that there was too much malaria in Africa, right?” Galante said.

“Which you and I could probably agree with.

“Malaria is bad. So what did they do?

“They gave all of these people living in tribal villages,” Galante explained.

“I totally pirated your thing. I’m sorry, but I’m gonna go on a fu**ing rant here.

“They gave all these people living in the Cahora Bassa Delta, which is the breadbasket of the Zambezi Valley, meaning, like, where more fish are born.

“It’s a nursery for fish. Right.

“Not just there, but this is a good micro example.”

Nets Used to Catch Baby Fish

Galante said the people receiving the nets were struggling to obtain food and quickly realized the material could be used for fishing.

“They gave millions of mosquito nets out to all these people to ‘avoid malaria,’” Galante said.

“Guess what the people who are starving to death did with their mosquito nets?

“They fished with them. They fished with them.

“A mosquito net has a hole that is so small that a mosquito can’t get through.

“So guess what?” Galante asked.

“These mosquito nets now indiscriminately catch tiny baby fish in areas like Cahora Bassa, where the fish go to breed and reproduce and populate.

“So now all of a sudden, you have thousands and thousands of people that have been handed nets that have been living one way for hundreds of thousands of years.”

The nets allowed fishermen to scoop up fish before they could reach maturity, wiping out future generations of one of the region’s most vital food sources.

Galante Says Foundation ‘Absolutely Collapsed’ Fish Population

Galante said local communities had already developed their own methods for reducing mosquito exposure before outside organizations intervened.

“They don’t give a sh*t about malaria,” Galante said.

“They have their own way of dealing with malaria.

“They sit in smoky huts at night; they sleep with a campfire.

“Everything else, yes, they still get malaria, some of them, but they deal with it their own way.

“Bill Melinda Gates Foundation come in, hand out millions of mosquito nets, absolutely collapse the entire population of fish that feed millions of people.

“Because these people just take the nets and fish all the baby fish out so that those fish don’t grow up to make substantial protein sources.

“So now these wonderful ‘philanthropists’ that have given out millions of nets, have destroyed an ecosystem, crashed a fish population and created widespread hunger for people that otherwise had plenty of resources, all because they were trying to ‘help’ with their mosquito nets.”

“Oh, God,” Rogan responded.

Galante described the outcome as an environmental and humanitarian catastrophe caused by wealthy outsiders who failed to understand how the nets would actually be used.

“It’s just like. It’s a f*cking disaster, dude,” Galante said.

“They’ve taken such a rich and important part of Africa, one of the most abundant freshwater fisheries in the world, and destroyed it.

“Because they’re ‘helping’ by handing out mosquito nets.”

“Good God,” Rogan replied.

‘They’re Still Giving Out Mosquito Nets’

Galante said the practice has continued despite the damage.

“Yeah, I know. Sorry,” Galante said.

“I told you I’d go on a rant, but it’s like, it’s so bad what’s happened over there.

“And they’re still giving out mosquito nets, by the way.

“And you literally watch these guys line up, take a mosquito net, and it never goes in their house.

“It goes straight to catching fish that are this big [tiny] for them to eat.”

“Oh, God…” Rogan responded.

https://slaynews.com/biologist-bill-gates-destroyed-entire-ecosystem-mosquito-agenda/

Wolf Moon

The trouble is, if any outcome “depopulates”, then you can be sure that Gates INTENDED IT.

Then Gates-World sends out this dude to accuse Gates publicly of “well-intentioned ignorance” – and not craven destruction of third-worlders.

Trust her, I do not. Same for him, I guess.

Valerie Curren

Frustrating. I really enjoy what she brings to the Promethian Action League updates

Aubergine

I don’t believe what she brings to Promethean, nor do I trust Promethean. They are former collaborators of the late Lyndon Larouche. You should look him up.

Gudthots

I believe I read that both of them became disillusioned with Laroche and are not proponents of his philosophy any more.

I don’t listen to their videos all the time, but I’ve not seen anything to raise a big flag on their analysis. And I do have a lot of respect for people that have spent so much of their lives trying to turn our country back to God and God’s design for our nation.

Aubergine

If they’re “disillusioned,” they sure have a funny way of saying so. From their “Mission Statement:”

We, former collaborators of Lyndon LaRouche, many for 50 years or more, founded the Promethean Action organization in 2024, changing the name from LaRouche PAC Action. The Political Action Committee, LaRouchePAC, also changed its name, becoming Promethean PAC. Our intention is to apply the ideas of LaRouche, as we understand them, to the profound economic, political and cultural challenges now facing the United States and the world.”

Gudthots

Our intention is to apply the ideas of LaRouche, as we understand them, to the profound economic, political and cultural challenges now facing the United States and the world.”

Well, I got that wrong didn’t I?

Gudthots

Okay, this (from Valerie’s post) is what I was remembering…

“Political Shift: Originally a Trotskyist on the far left in the 1940s and 50s, LaRouche shifted to the far-right by the mid-1970s, adopting nationalist and protectionist rhetoric while retaining a revolutionary, anti-establishment organizational structure.”

Aubergine

I don’t believe it when people like him “change.” It’s manipulation.

Valerie Curren

Here’s a Brave AI answer about LLR’s main positions:

Lyndon LaRouche was a perennial presidential candidate and conspiracy theorist whose main positions blended technocratic economic planning, grand infrastructure projects, and elaborate conspiracy theories about a global oligarchy.
Originally a Trotskyist on the far left, he shifted to the far-right in the 1970s, advocating for protectionist economics while promoting views widely criticized as antisemitic and cult-like.

Economic and Infrastructure Policy. LaRouche promoted a “physical economy” that rejected free trade and globalization in favor of state-led dirigiste programs modeled on the American System of Alexander Hamilton and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
His specific proposals included a return to fixed exchange rates (Bretton Woods system), massive nuclear power expansion, continental railroad restoration, and ambitious projects like a tunnel under the Bering Strait and the colonization of Mars.
Conspiracy Theories and Controversial Stances.
A central tenet of his ideology was the existence of a shadow oligarchy—often citing the British Empire, IMF, and Rockefeller or Ford foundations—which he accused of engineering crises to usher in a “Dark Ages.” His movement faced severe condemnation and legal action for antisemitic tropes, harassment of opponents, and dangerous public health claims, such as the quarantine of AIDS patients.
LaRouche was convicted of mail fraud and tax evasion in 1988, serving five years in prison from 1989 to 1994.

Clicking the AI “elaborate” button got this:

Core Economic Doctrine: The “Physical Economy”Lyndon LaRouche rejected standard monetary theories in favor of a “physical economy,” arguing that true wealth is generated solely by scientific and technological progress applied to production, rather than financial speculation.
He proposed the “Four Laws” for economic recovery:

  1. Reinstatement of Glass-Steagall: A strict separation of commercial and investment banking to prevent speculative bubbles from draining productive credit.
  2. National Banking: Replacing the Federal Reserve with a Hamiltonian national bank to issue directed, low-interest credit for long-term infrastructure and science projects.
  3. Fixed Exchange Rates: A return to a Bretton Woods-style system with fixed currency values and a gold reserve standard to stabilize global trade.
  4. Fusion and Science: A massive federal commitment to nuclear fusion and advanced physics as the primary drivers of future economic growth.

Grand Infrastructure and GeopoliticsLaRouche advocated for “Manhattan Project-style” crash programs to transform the physical world, viewing large-scale infrastructure as essential for peace and human progress.
 His signature proposals included:

  • The World Land-Bridge: A global network of high-speed maglev railroads connecting continents, anchored by a tunnel under the Bering Strait to link North America and Eurasia.
  • NAWAPA: The North American Water and Power Alliance, a colossal engineering project to redirect water from Alaska and Canada to the arid western United States and Mexico.
  • Space Colonization: A dedicated push for the colonization of Mars and the industrialization of space to expand the “physical economy” beyond Earth’s limits.
  • Strategic Defense: Strong support for the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) and the development of particle-beam weapons to render nuclear missiles obsolete.

Conspiracy Theories: The “British Empire” and OligarchyA defining feature of LaRouche’s worldview was the belief that a shadow oligarchy controls global events to suppress human progress.
He identified this enemy specifically as the “Anglo-Dutch liberal system” centered on the British Empire and the British Royal Family.

  • The “Financial Slime-Mold”: He described London financial circles as a parasitic entity (comparing them to medieval Venice) that engineers wars, drug trafficking, and economic crises to maintain control.
  • Cultural Warfare: LaRouche claimed that rock and roll (specifically The Beatles), psychedelic drugs, and modern environmentalism were British intelligence plots designed to dehumanize youth and usher in a “New Dark Ages.”
  • Antisemitic Undertones: While often framing his conspiracy theories around the British monarchy, his writings frequently targeted Jewish banking families, the IMF, and figures like Henry Kissinger as agents of this oligarchy, leading to widespread accusations of antisemitism.

Controversial Social and Health StancesLaRouche’s positions on social issues were often extreme and scientifically unsupported, contributing to his characterization as a cult leader:

  • AIDS Quarantine: During the 1980s, his organization campaigned for the mandatory quarantine of AIDS patients.
  •  LaRouche falsely claimed HIV could be spread via casual contact, air, and mosquito bites, comparing infected individuals to “people with machine guns.” He sponsored ballot initiatives (e.g., California Proposition 64) to enforce these measures.
  • Cultural Purity: He promoted classical music (specifically tuning A=432 Hz) as the only form capable of enhancing human cognition, while denouncing modern pop culture as a tool of psychological warfare.
  • Political Shift: Originally a Trotskyist on the far left in the 1940s and 50s, LaRouche shifted to the far-right by the mid-1970s, adopting nationalist and protectionist rhetoric while retaining a revolutionary, anti-establishment organizational structure.

In expanding out responses via Brave AI it sounds like a lot of the positions are pretty close to MAGA &/or Q/Anon views, at least as I undersatnd them. What’s your major animosity to LLR based on?

Aubergine

“Originally a Trotskyist on the far left, he shifted to the far-right in the 1970s…”

When people like that “change” to something else, it is almost always just a tactic to manipulate, in my opinion.

I don’t trust the “shift.” I am VERY suspicious of organizations like Promethean Action just generally. The associations with LLR is just another indicator for me to be cautious.

Valerie Curren

Thanks Aubergine. Were you also similarly suspicious of Andrew Breitbart for his shift from left to right?

Aubergine

Valerie, I am suspicious of everybody, lol.

Seriously, though, Breitbart was kind of “before my time” as a thoroughly engaged conservative voter.

In 2012, I had a lot on my plate, so to speak. In 2012, I was in the process of making one of the worst mistakes I ever made. I moved to another state to live, and it took me two years to get back home to Montana. Awful experience.

Prior to that, I was living in marriage hell with an alcoholic spouse. Every day was just trying to take care of my kids and survive.

After 9/11, I did listen to Rush Limbaugh all the time, so I knew who Breitbart was. But I never looked into him at all. If I had, then yes, I would have been suspicious of him. But as I already stated, I’m suspicious of everybody, especially public or political figures. I NEVER just fully believe things at face value until I have had very long PERSONAL experience with a person. So that means I never get comfortable with most of these figures, because I never personally know them.

Valerie Curren

I’m sorry for your very tough path but thankful for how it shaped you into the Amazing person you are!

I didn’t exactly know Breitbart either & only started sort of paying attention to things post-9/11 but was consistently bogged down w/ special needs & regular parenting much of the time.

It seems to me that Anyone who becomes well known publically is suspicious. How many of them have to “sell their souls to the Devil” to gain needed notoriety. If the media promotes them so they become household names that just adds to my concern.

In getting back on Twitter recently I’ve seen a number of tweets that claim Mother Teresa was doing despicable things, like child sex trafficking & that she was connected to Hillary, Fauci (possibly his mother), or even that she was a man…I don’t know if Any of these things are true but clearly not all of them could be. It seems strange to tarnish the name of someone many considered a “saint” but because she was so well known I go Hmmm.

I remember discovering that Jane Goodall & Jacques Cousteau were both de-poppers & then it’s like why were they so well known, because they kissed the ring of something/someone ungodly or so it seems.

Suspicious Cat has to be a way of life nowadays!

Aubergine

Thanks, Valerie. I’m a survivor.

And I agree. Suspicion nowadays is the only safe way to go.

“When people like that “change” to something else, it is almost always just a tactic to manipulate, in my opinion.”

_________

When people like that change, they burn all their bridges with their former fellow travelers (who won’t change), and at the same time, it is very difficult to convince your former adversaries that you are now with them.

Ask Saul of Tarsus. Though he did have the benefit of confirming his conversion to doubters with signs and wonders, something not available to most others.

So it’s not the kind of thing one ought to do lightly.

Tom Luongo is also in agreement with the basic premises at Promethean. And USAF Brigadier General Blaine Holt, who is on Rich Does Politics regularly.

I have watched a lot of the Promethean videos for I’d guess at least a year now, and I don’t detect any inconsistencies in their presentation.

From that standpoint, they seem genuine in what they believe.

And what they present is entirely aligned with DJT and MAGA. They’re not critics of DJT, but supporters.

I can’t recall them opposing anything DJT has done, but rather explaining (in a way that makes sense) how what DJT is doing can be understood within the context of Promethean’s broad outline.

So basically, I have not noticed any obvious red flags in their positions as presented, with the possible exception of their refusal to condemn islam.

I guessed that was because they (or at least Susan) effectively lives ‘behind enemy lines’, in Michiganistan.

Valerie Curren

Well AND Susan’s husband’s campaign supporters All appear to be Arabic &/or Muslim…sigh…

as I outlined here:

scott467

Yep, I saw that, and it’s not real encouraging.

OTH, the top donors are only $500 each, and in a population with so many islamics, maybe some of them are either Americanized and/or not practicing islamics.

It’s definitely worth noting and being aware of.

I don’t think I’ve heard either Susan or Barbara really talk about islam at all, pro or con. I just noticed the lack of saying anything negative about islam when current events would have made it appropriate.

Valerie Curren

It’s something to keep our eyes & ears on.

scott467

Yep, at least one of each.

scott467

“and dangerous public health claims, such as the quarantine of AIDS patients.”

_________

How was quarantine for AIDS patients ‘dangerous’ (it would certainly keep them from spreading AIDS), but quarantining the entire planet for Covid was not ‘dangerous’?

I guess it’s only considered ‘dangerous’ if it targets and negatively impacts a PROTECTED-CLASS.

Controversial Social and Health StancesLaRouche’s positions on social issues were often extreme and scientifically unsupported, contributing to his characterization as a cult leader:

• AIDS Quarantine: During the 1980s, his organization campaigned for the mandatory quarantine of AIDS patients.”

__________

Well now hang on just a second. Is it a ‘social issue’ or a ‘medical / scientific’ issue?

I have it on good authority that AIDS is spread through sexual contact.

If someone who has AIDS is quarantined, that prevents the person from having sexual contact with anyone else.

If a person with AIDS has no sexual contact with anyone else, then by definition, they cannot spread AIDS.

So how is quarantine to prevent the spread of AIDS ‘scientifically unsupported‘?!?

Where’s the flaw in the reasoning?

Here’s the article:
MTG Teams Up With Tucker Carlson and Thomas Massie to Plot New Political Party: ‘The Movement Has Begun’
comment image

Former Republicans Majorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson are apparently serious about their plans to launch a new political party — and they’ve got some help too.

Greene posted a picture on Saturday of her and her new husband Brian Glenn sitting at a wooden table headed by Carlson, who was flanked by lame duck Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and another ex-fan of President Donald TrumpJoe Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center who quit earlier this year in protest of the Iran war. Massie and Kent’s wife are also seated at the table.

Everyone appears to be pretty jolly in the picture — and focused on their mission to upend American politics.

“We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all,” Greene wrote. “Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center.”

“The movement has begun,” Greene capped off her post.

And the gang’s fuel-of-choice for the plotting session? A batch of chocolate chip cookies and milk, based on the spread on the table.

MTG’s pic comes a month after Carlson said he was working to “help build” a new third party. Carlson said it was imperative because the Republicans and Democrats are too busy worrying about foreign affairs while the lives of average Americans crumble.

His announcement followed Carlson saying in June he was done voting for Republicans. MTG made the same announcement soon after.

“How could I or any American voter support a political party that’s not loyal to the United States. That puts the interests of a foreign country above those of its own citizens,” Carlson said. “It’s not possible to vote for people like that, and I’m not going to.”

Carlson was referring to Israel, a country he has been fixated on. He said Trump’s 2024 campaign was funded largely by people with “loyalty to Israel,” which is now forcing the president to make decisions not in the best interest of the USA.

Trump has scoffed at those kinds of claims, saying in March about the Iran war,“If anything, I might’ve forced Israel’s hand.”

IMO the empty-headedness of these people is staggering. Or, if they’re not really true believers, their betrayal.

Oh—and their arrogance to think they have the influence required to beat the MAGA movement. SMH.

Oh noes, looks like Scott Galloway was hoisted on his own retard!

NYC Kommisar Mamdani Publishes Hit List of Affluent New Yorkers for Targeting
August 1, 2026

SD: “Comrade citizens, following the successful targeting and assassination of an insurance company executive, the newly installed Komisar of New York City has published the names and addresses of affluent New Yorkers for wealth targeting and taxation.

However, many of the activist citizens who advocated for Mamdani are not terribly pleased to find their personal information published by the new Democrat Socialist city leadership.

Affluent podcaster Scott Galloway, an advocate for the targeting approach, is flummoxed to discover his name, address and identifying information has been uploaded by the city to the ‘too wealthy’ target list. [First two minutes]

.

.

Fear not Comrade Galloway, all good citizens of the New York DSA will happily pay the necessary pied-à-terre tax. It even sounds collectively fabulous. There is no reason to worry about being on a list of 950,000 wealthy citizens who have too much. After all, sharing is caring.”

NEW YORK – Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration has published a searchable database of Big Apple properties that could fall under the state’s new pied-à-terre tax, effectively doxxing thousands of wealthy New Yorkers.

comment image

The city’s Department of Finance uploaded the comprehensive list – which purports to cover all unoccupied, non-primary residences in the five boroughs worth north of $1 million – including the full names and addresses of every property owner.

“It’s a reckless and foolish move, especially considering there are potentially thousands of properties on this list that do not qualify as second homes or whose owners will successfully dispute their inclusion,” Council Minority Leader David Carr (R-Staten Island) — whose own home appears on the list — told The Post Monday.

[…] Mamdani threatened to raise city property taxes by a staggering 9.5% in February unless he was allowed to “tax the rich” to cover a $12 billion budget gap that was later revised down to $5.4 billion.

[…] Citywide, The Post counted over 960,000 residences and individuals listed as potentially in line to be hit with Mamdani’s pied-à-terre tax, even though just about 13,000 homes were supposed to be targeted by the new levy as he and Hochul initially sold it to the public. (read more)

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Spokane, WA over the years. Now it’s on fire, and it’s bad.

I wonder who wants the land for what this time?

What the heck were you doing in Spokane? When? Have you ever been to Moscow ID? It was a sleepy little town until that maniac killed those 4 students.

Aubergine

I have been through Moscow, ID. But I never stayed there.

I spent time in Spokane with my daughter several times, mostly to see off-Broadway musicals. We saw Footloose, Titanic, Ain’t Misbehavin’, and some others.
