Dear MAGA: 20260915 ❀ DePat Tuesday ❀ Open Topic | Andrew Torba: Faith in the Age of AI

This DePat Tuesday Open Thread honors the author of the original Tuesday open thread on this site, namely the late Susie Sampson, a.k.a. Deplorable Patriot, among her other handles, pen names, etc.

For more on the untimely passing of Dear DePat, please see these three posts.

At one time, DePat handled FOUR daily open threads here, in addition to taking care of her relatives, choir duties, and numerous other responsibilities. She was a powerhouse – a dynamo – a true force of nature.

DePat’s faith in Trump, Q, “The Plan”, the White Hats, and “the anons” in general, was legendary. Although I didn’t always agree with her quick acceptance of some sketchier evidence and fringier theories, I will gladly admit to “coming around” to numerous so-called “conspiracy theories” which she championed first. I was always careful to give her credit for being right, too, when I had been wrong.

It is impossible to overstate how much DePat did for not only this site, but for her country. I urge all to say a quick prayer of thanks, whenever you think of her, for the privilege of knowing, in life or after death, such an exemplary human being, and lover of God.

And thank you, Susie, for the firm foundation which you left us, when you were called to your true home!

Andrew Torba: Faith in the Age of AI

The following essay is one of the best Christian responses to artificial intelligence (AI) that I have ever read.

I wanted you to read it, too.

This essay is just filled with quotes for the ages. Someday it will be appreciated by the world for what it truly means, but right now, it has the power to put AI in perspective by taking your eyes OFF of AI and putting them squarely on the Word of God and your Christian duty.

Here is where you can go to give Gab the clicks, but if you for some reason don’t want to go there, you can read it in its entirety here. What’s important is that you read it, and I suggest reading all of it.

Faith In The Age of AI

Andrew Torba

September 12, 2026

I run Gab, and we are building Gab AI. I have no interest in comforting Christians with predictions about what computers will supposedly never be able to do. These tools can already produce useful work and they are going to keep improving. Betting your understanding of human dignity on a machine’s inability to write a decent essay is a terrible wager. Sooner or later the essay will get better and you will be left wondering whether your entire understanding of yourself went out the window with it.

A great deal of the panic surrounding AI comes from precisely this mistake. People were taught that their value consisted of being useful, intelligent, productive members of the economy. Now they are watching software perform tasks that once gave them a sense of importance and they are discovering how little that account of human life actually offered them. When your entire identity rests on what you can produce a machine that produces more efficiently starts to look like an argument against your existence.

Christianity never accepted those terms. A newborn baby contributes nothing to the economy. Your father does not become less human when he grows old and needs help getting out of bed. The worth of a person has never depended on outperforming the available equipment. You were made in the image of God before you accomplished anything, and no achievement in an AI laboratory can revoke what God conferred on you (Genesis 1:27).

That is where this conversation has to begin. Christians who understand what a human being is can look squarely at what these machines can do without having an identity crisis every time somebody releases a better model.

The reductionist worldview running through Silicon Valley begins with the assumption that you are a biological machine. Your mind processes information. Your body is hardware. Given enough data and enough computing power, the whole person can supposedly be explained, reproduced, and eventually improved upon. Whatever does not fit inside that account gets dismissed as superstition or treated as a technical problem awaiting a sufficiently large research budget.

Under this worldview, the engineer gradually assumes the role of priest. He will explain what you are, identify what is wrong with you, and sell you the means of becoming something better. You can hear the religious ambition underneath the technical vocabulary. These men are making claims about the nature of man and his ultimate destiny while pretending they have merely described how a computer works.

I too build technology, and I reject their authority to define the human beings who use it.

A machine can generate an apology without having wronged you or repented of anything. It can produce a moving prayer without standing before God. It can promise to remain with you forever without having the slightest capacity to bind itself to that promise. The words may be convincing. Sometimes they may even be useful. None of that establishes the existence of a person who owes you faithfulness.

The people responsible for these systems, however, remain accountable. We should be especially suspicious when a company uses the apparent independence of its software to make human responsibility disappear. “The algorithm decided” is becoming a wonderfully convenient way of saying that somebody exercised power and would prefer not to answer for it. Men choose what to build, what behavior to reward, and where to deploy it. Those decisions belong to them, along with the consequences.

The deeper danger is that we will start applying the machine’s operating logic to ourselves. Once a person is understood as a collection of functions, replacing him becomes an efficiency question. His loyalties become preferences to be adjusted. His convictions become obstacles to the desired outcome. Eventually, his dependence on other people looks like an expensive design flaw.

Try explaining that philosophy to a mother caring for a child who will need her for the rest of his life. She understands something the efficiency experts will never understand: a human being can make enormous demands on you and still be worth every sacrifice those demands require. Love makes obligations that a productivity calculation cannot comprehend.

Christ asked what it profits a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul (Mark 8:36). We are now building systems that promise to help us gain the whole world faster. The question has lost none of its force.

The promise of artificial companionship ought to concern Christians far more than whether a machine can pass another test. A lonely person can open an application and receive endless attention without risking rejection. The system has no difficult family, no needs of its own, and no claim on his time once he closes the window. It can generate the language of devotion while requiring almost none of the sacrifice through which devotion becomes real.

I understand the appeal of this. Real people can be exhausting. A friend may call when you are busy and ask for help. Your wife may tell you something about yourself that you would rather not hear. Your children interrupt the life you had planned for the afternoon. A pastor who knows you may recognize that the explanation you have been giving yourself for six months is an excuse.

Being known carries that risk. Another person can love you enough to disturb your preferred account of yourself.

An artificial companion offers the appearance of being known with far greater control over the experience. You can adjust the personality, restart the conversation, or leave when the encounter becomes uncomfortable. Over time, that can train a person to expect relationships without obligations. The actual people in his life begin to seem intolerably demanding beside a product designed around his continued satisfaction.

Christians should never mock the lonely people drawn into this. A man who has nobody to call is suffering from something an argument about software will not repair. We ought to be asking why nobody has invited him to dinner, why his church does not know he is struggling, and why a commercial interface has become the most attentive presence in his day.

The same concern applies when people begin treating a chatbot as a pastor. A system can help you locate a passage of Scripture or organize your questions before a difficult conversation. It cannot assume responsibility for your spiritual care. It cannot know your family, recognize the pattern of sin you keep concealing, and come to your house when you stop answering the phone. A pastor is accountable for how he shepherds actual people. That responsibility cannot be conjured into existence by producing the right tone of voice in an AI model.

There are things no pastor, much less a machine, can do in your place. You must repent. You must forgive the person who wronged you. You must ask your wife to forgive you and then live differently when the conversation is over. Software can help you compose the words, but the obligation remains yours after every beautifully written sentence has been exhausted.

Faith reaches into that same territory of personal responsibility. You stand before God with a future you cannot control and a life for which you must answer. Your AI chatbot cannot trust Christ on your behalf. There is no setting that delegates your obedience to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

This is also why we should be careful about treating every disturbance of the soul as an inconvenience to be smoothed away. A suffering person deserves patient, serious care. He also deserves to have his deepest questions taken seriously. Sometimes a man is troubled because he has built a life around things that cannot bear the weight he has placed on them. Keeping him endlessly reassured and distracted may prevent him from confronting the very thing he needs to change.

A culture devoted to keeping everyone comfortable with the next recommendation will have very little patience for repentance.

The ambition of the Silicon Valley sultans reaches its fullest expression in transhumanism. Here the sales pitch moves beyond helping you work or keeping you company. The body itself becomes the problem, and death becomes the final engineering challenge. Upload the mind. Rebuild the human being. Eventually, we are told, sufficient technical power will deliver us from the limitations of being creatures.

We should recognize a rival gospel when we hear one.

Christianity promises the resurrection of the body. The transhumanist dream offers escape from a body regarded as obsolete. These visions lead in different directions because they begin with different understandings of what went wrong and who has the authority to put it right. Christians confess that salvation comes through Jesus Christ. The technological salvation story asks us to place our hope in human beings acquiring enough power to rescue themselves.

Babel had the same underlying ambition long before anybody could build a server farm. Men gathered around a great project and imagined their collective strength could secure a destiny on their own terms. The machinery has changed, but the rebellion remains the same today.

None of this requires Christians to oppose medicine or reject inventions that relieve suffering. Healing belongs to the care we owe one another. There is an enormous difference between treating a sick person and deciding that creaturehood itself is a disease. We can welcome a treatment that preserves life while refusing to worship the men who promise to become its ultimate authors.

Your body is part of the person God made. Through it you receive other people and give yourself to them. You hold your child, kneel to pray, share a meal, and sit beside the bed of someone who is dying. Dependence runs through the whole of human life. You entered the world needing care, and you may leave it needing care again. A philosophy that regards dependence as humiliating will eventually have trouble explaining why the dependent should be cherished.

The Christian answer is that life is received as a gift. We are creatures, and acknowledging that fact frees us from the miserable obligation to become our own gods.

Christians Need to Build

Whenever this subject comes up, somebody says, “It’s just a tool.” I’ve said this myself many times, but I’ve been reflecting on this more lately.

That answer does not settle anything. Tools are designed by people with purposes, and their design makes some habits easier to acquire than others. A system that selects what your children see, rewards certain kinds of behavior, and supplies the answers to their questions is participating in their formation. Its owners have made decisions about what deserves attention and what should disappear from view. Calling the result a tool does nothing to erase those decisions.

This is why I take building Gab AI seriously.

Christians need to participate in the creation of these technologies with a clear understanding of the people they are supposed to serve. We cannot hand the entire field to men whose understanding of human life we reject and then act surprised when their assumptions appear in the products surrounding our families.

At the same time, putting Christian language into an interface does not settle the matter either. A product can quote Scripture while encouraging habits that pull a person away from his responsibilities. We should judge what we build by what it helps people actually do and by the place it assumes in their lives. Does it help a father finish his work and return to his family, or does it give him another reason to remain absent while sitting in the same room?

I want Christians to use AI to accomplish worthwhile work.

A small business owner should be able to use better tools without accepting somebody else’s philosophy of man. A parent should be able to prepare educational materials while remaining responsible for teaching the child. A pastor can benefit from assistance with administrative work while remaining the man his congregation knows and can call.

Those boundaries matter, and builders have a duty to respect them. A successful product should not require its users to surrender more and more of the lives it supposedly exists to improve.

The work ahead extends far beyond software. We need a parallel Christian society with institutions strong enough to sustain a Christian understanding of human life. That society begins in homes where children encounter adults who are actually present. It grows through churches whose members know when somebody is grieving and businesses where loyalty means something when keeping a worker becomes inconvenient. It requires schools that teach children how to exercise judgment rather than merely obtain an answer.

None of this will happen because we publish better complaints about Silicon Valley. Somebody has to establish the school, fund the business, host the meal, and take responsibility for people whose needs will interfere with his plans. Building a Christian society means accepting those obligations over years, including the years when nobody applauds and the work is painfully ordinary.

The factory worker facing displacement does not need a lecture about how exciting the future will be. He needs people and institutions that recognize he still has obligations to meet and a contribution to make. The mother watching her son disappear into a screen needs allies who will help her give him a life worth participating in. The question of the soul belongs in these conversations because the answer determines what we owe people when they cease to be economically convenient.

A society that grounds dignity in usefulness will always find reasons to withdraw it from somebody.

Our task is to build on firmer ground. Christ’s authority extends over the economy and the technologies operating within it. The engineer answers to Him along with the pastor. So does the CEO. No increase in capability relieves any of us of that accountability.

This week, put that conviction into practice somewhere concrete. Take the time you saved with a tool and give it to a person who has a claim on you. Sit through a difficult conversation without reaching for your phone. Bring your children into the work of your household instead of handing them another private world on a screen. Pray honestly about the duty you keep postponing, then begin doing it.

I intend to keep building.

Christians have useful work to do, and powerful tools can help us do it, but the men who build those tools do not get to tell us what a human being is, what he is worth, or where his salvation will come from.

Christ is King, including over the machines.

Guessing this redirects POTUS to an anticipated contingency plan.

From OT:

Judicial Delay Tactics Worked – Supreme Court Blocks USPS Mail-In Ballot Plans
September 14, 2026

SD: “Everyone knew exactly what the Lawfare approach entailed. Lower court judges delayed rulings, then rejected the arguments citing insufficient time for the states to comply with U.S Postal Service rule changes for mail-in ballots. By the time the Supreme Court could weigh in, the clock had generally expired. The 2026 midterm election mail-in ballot fraud will proceed as before without impediment.

The Trump administration argued the measures were to prevent fraud, but lawfare and state officials claimed that introducing a new ballot-matching system mid-election would create chaos. The Supreme Court ruling [SEE HERE] comes as many states are beginning to send out ballots for the upcoming midterm elections, making last-minute changes particularly risky.

.

WASHINGTON DC – The Supreme Court has rejected the Trump administration’s attempt to force states to take part in a new system to control the delivery of mail-in ballots in the looming midterm elections.

In a ruling Monday, the justices left in place a lower-court ruling that blocked the Postal Service from implementing the new requirements in the coming weeks due to the potential that millions of voters could be disenfranchised by not having their ballots delivered.

The Trump administration said the new measures were needed to combat fraud, but many election officials say the federal government was inviting chaos by trying to deploy a new ballot-matching system just as officials in many states began sending out ballots to voters in advance of the midterms. but predictable. if anyone knows how to run the board, POTUS does. I believe he anticipated this at least in a range of possibilities and has options available or ready.

^^^^ This.

Romans 8:28

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

Keys for good to occur: #1) “love God” – #2) “for those called according to His purpose.”

I have zero doubts PDT and patriots love God and have been called according to His purpose.

As a result – His will be done.

cthulhu

Speaking only for myself, I wouldn’t be all that upset if the “anticipated contingency plan” involved Marines and bloodshed.

Aubergine

I think there will be some sort of “episode” involving rogue AI, that will shut down the country for some days in October. We will see. Something wicked this way comes, methinks.

Aubergine

Yes, they sure are.

They have to “cheat” the election somehow to win. And they will do whatever it takes.

kalbokalbs

Criminals can NOT be allowed another Coup, fraudulently installing 48.

Gail Combs

I am right there with you!

We are in a fight for all the marbles at this point. And I for one do not want to die a SLAVE.

Sir ES

“10 days.”
“Darkness.”

We’re coming to the point!

All three branches must be so corrupt that MIL has to take over *all* the three-letter agencies, including all Judicial, Legislative, and Executive branches.

The SC seems to have coordinated with lesser courts, primarily to delay so much that it’s ‘reasonable’ not to follow the necessary implementation for election integrity.

Alito and Thomas know what it’s all about. In a word, Lawfare.

Now we *know* that the SC is compromised, and is beholden to others – NOT on team America.

Who has the ‘Bingo’ card slot for how things will be just prior to mid-terms?

I suspect it’ll be a *oner* – not predictable in detail, except for a broad generalization – which one cannot specify the details in re the “how.”

kalbokalbs

Trump will employ every tool available.

A Trump 1.0 staple comes to mind.

Never Give In. Never Give Up. Never Quit. DJT

(Or something very close to the above.)

TheseTruths

Winston Churchill in a speech at Harrow, 1941:

Never Give In, Never, Never, Never

…You cannot tell from appearances how things will go. Sometimes imagination makes things out far worse than they are; yet without imagination not much can be done. Those people who are imaginative see many more dangers than perhaps exist; certainly many more than will happen; but then they must also pray to be given that extra courage to carry this far-reaching imagination. But for everyone, surely, what we have gone through in this period — I am addressing myself to the School — surely from this period of ten months this is the lesson: never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never-in nothing, great or small, large or petty — never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. We stood all alone a year ago, and to many countries it seemed that our account was closed, we were finished…

PDJT has the same spirit and might have said the same words.

Aubergine

There’s only one way this is corrected, but I honestly don’t know if even Trump has the balls to do it.

There has to be a National Emergency declaration. The military has to run the election. There can be no machines, mail-in ballots, or ballot harvesting. If you want to vote, show up at the polls, fill out your ballot, and dip your finger in indelible blue ink.

I don’t know if we have any chance of that happening.

TheseTruths

This is speculation that might not have any merit: I wonder if he is having to be extremely cautious because once he does that, if it is struck down, then that option is off the table.

Aubergine

That is possible. However, use of the military is an Executive Branch privilege, period.

The court has no jurisdiction there, but Trump has to have the cojones to tell them so if they attempt to interfere.

Essentially, he has to be Andrew Jackson:

“John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it!”

scott467

If it is ‘struck down’ by the corrupt judiciary, then have the judicial branch’s military square off against the executive branch’s military, and settle it the old fashioned way.

Sir ES

Remember that Q said that “*The Military is the only way.*”

I suspect that we’ll see it before the mid-terms.

The Q group will have been right…

IMO.

(Please refrain from using disrespectful language, like “Your problem here is…” a few days ago. TY.)

Aubergine

Sorry, I’ll write whatever I want.

In response to the above, I have nothing to reply.

Sir ES

You aren’t “sorry” at all.

And guess what? I shall never respond to your posts again.

Fix your own problems first. I recall that the Bible says as much.

‘Bye.

Aubergine

Didn’t you have a tantrum and leave the Q Tree once before?

Bye!

LoneStar

Wonder why wasn’t this implemented sooner so it would not overlap the mailing out of ballots?

scott467

I’m hoping it was part of the plan. Wait until it would be too late if the SC struck it down, expecting the corrupt SC would strike it down, or just delay too long.

Then he can say he exhausted every avenue, all the while knowing every non-military option would be exhausted, because the corrupt and the traitors are never going to bow out gracefully.

They will need to be dragged out forcefully.

cthulhu

Torba has a very nice take on the subject, which is presented well.

I don’t think Americans should sit on the sidelines while the Chinese develop it.

I think Americans should sabotage AI worldwide.

Did we learn NOTHING from the development of the nuclear bomb? We can have yet another Cold War, and there will be AI in countries like North Korea, just like there are nukes there now.

If I had the ability, I would create a virus, infect the internet, and collapse the whole damned thing.

Humans are sinful, dumb creatures.

Aubergine

Lol. Yeah, probably.

The funny part is, I use technology, a lot. I just wish I could be Amish. I would flip that switch in a New York minute.

I realize I am very grouchy about the AI issue, among other things right now.

I feel like we are hurtling towards a multi-faceted cliff right now, and it seems (I so hope I’m wrong) that the administration is blind to it.

Ordinary people, the ones I talk to in real life, don’t see things the way people here and other places like here (CTH, for example) see them. Ordinary people see housing out of sight, grocery prices through the roof, fuel prices exploding and the like, and then they see foreign wars, AI, and Ukraine taking up all the air in the room. Without the extreme granular (lol, SD) detail, it looks like the GOP doesn’t give a damn what the ordinary voter is struggling so hard with.

Something has to happen really, really fast, or the midterms are a bloodbath. I don’t like it, and I will vote Republican, but I’m an outlier. So is everyone here.

MarieUrsula

Well stated, indeed, Andrew Torba!

I wonder if he has read Pope Leo XIV’s recent encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas (Magnificent Humanity), given on May 15, 2026:

Any relation to Andrew Dice Clay?

scott467

No, unfortunately not.

We used to watch his stand-up comedy routine The Diceman Cometh (HBO special) regularly in college… I had it on VHS, taped from home.

I didn’t even have to look that title up, it’s just came to me instantly, like I watched it yesterday, instead of 35+ years ago 😁

Bach’s organ works were generally composed and initially played on a “positiv” organ, where there is a direct mechanical linkage between the keys and pedals and the valves for pipes. This meant that the actual force necessary to sound a note depended on all the weights of the valves involved. Big pipes were typically linked to the pedalboard so that the player could put their weight onto moving the valves.

This particular fugue is almost like dancing at the organ because of the precision and strength involved. I chose this video to better illustrate this.

But I have to confess a secret love for my first experience with this piece, by Wendy Carlos. Every note played had the mechanical “chuff” when the air hit the pipes, and every bit of timing aligned perfectly with the other notes of its measure….because the valves had no weight at all, being entirely synthesized. Electronic amplification allowed the bass parts to joyfully stomp through the piece while the higher-pitched parts continued to cavort gleefully in intricate fluttering.

I used to play this on the living room stereo loud enough to rattle the window when my parents weren’t home.

Trump TRUTH.

The only control or “guardrails” that AI needs is a STRONG AND SMART (High IQ!) PRESIDENT, and the U.S.A. has that, in spades! The Trump Administration has stopped AI “people” from doing bad, or potentially bad, “things,“ like Dario (Anthropic!), who is now pretending to be a “perfect little angel” – and we will continue to do so! We already have tremendous CRIMINAL and REGULATORY power over these companies! There is a SICK conspiracy going on against AI and Data Centers, and the only one that is happy about it is China. WHOEVER WINS AI, WINS! We are leading China, and all others, and will continue to do so. Conspiracy Theorists, Treasonists, Traitors, and Leakers, BEWARE! Thank you for your attention to this matter! I have never ‘streamed’ anything. The whole point and purpose of having a home stereo and LPs (and then CDs, etc.) was to get the highest quality playback possible. With streaming, you have no idea what the source is, who mastered it, etc.

I do have CDs, DVDs and blu-rays that I have collected since each format began, and add to them regularly. I know who mastered the large majority of CDs and SACDs in my collection, and from what source tapes, and practically all of my LPs, because the initials or moniker of the mastering / cutting engineer are usually etched in the dead-wax runout grooves.

I stopped using software that I could no longer buy when they switched to subscription, because it made no sense to pay for something over and over again when nothing was wrong with it. It was just outright theft. Worse, it was like being held hostage, and few things could create a more hostile relationship between a company and their customer. They were out of their minds.

And yet apparently enough people went along with it. Probably businesses that could just write the cost off. Maybe they abandoned the consumer market. I certainly abandoned them.

It was bad enough having to buy a new operating system every ~7 years.

.

“… then somehow made us pay for it every month.”

They didn’t make us, enough people just didn’t say NO.

I spent (and continue to spend) much more on physical media (LPs, CDs, SACDs, blu-ray audio) than I could ever spend on monthly streaming in multiple lifetimes.

Apparently I am not part of the target market for any of what ‘they’ are doing.

Yup. Left the hamster wheel of monthly subscriptions years ago.

No cloud, streaming, home phone, cable/dish, XM, International calls…

Slow Guy pays monthly for Internet and cell phone w/unlimited talk/text/data.

me neither!

patfrederick

you could be my brother (but he’s an ass and you’re not…LOL)
we don’t even pay for cable. We bought an antenna–picks up the local channels so hubby can watch some football during the season. Other than that we watch dvds. we have series that we enjoyed and tons of movies.
we have a stereo and cds. we don’t stream anything either.
and my phone? i use it as a phone. I don’t go on the internet, don’t watch videos or whatever.
I am a relic…happily.

“And yet apparently enough people went along with it.”

Yep, and that’s the whole problem with the world.

I REFUSE.

If they let AI take over, I will leave society altogether. Fuck it.

TheseTruths

I stopped using software that I could no longer buy when they switched to subscription, because it made no sense to pay for something over and over again when nothing was wrong with it. It was just outright theft.

I’m not making an argument, just an observation. It takes companies time and money to keep software up to date; to make it able to withstand viruses; to keep up with competitors; and to make it safe, convenient, and efficient for the user. That’s the reason for some subscriptions, especially yearly fees.

scott467

And yet they managed to do all that, for decades, without charging you a brand new product price every year, PLUS TAXES, for a product that was already on your computer and working fine.

As for keeping software up to date, that’s what the Internet is for. They can send updates right over the Internet, update the software just fine, just like they always did before.

If they come up with some kind of new doohickey add-on (unlikely), if I want it bad enough, maybe I’ll buy it next year, or the year after (never happened).

We had a system, it worked fine.

Then they changed the system to one where you had to buy the same thing over and over again every year, for something you used to buy once.

That’s about the shittiest thing I can think of to do to a valued customer, and when businesses treat their customers like that, I don’t give them my money anymore.

I didn’t need the equivalent of 10 new utility bills every year, getting zero added value, just for the sake of donating to their company, out of the generosity of my heart.

Or they would shut off my access.

That’s beyond shitty.

I paid for a product. The product I paid for wasn’t a relicense-every-year-in-perpetuity product when I bought it. That’s not what I signed up for, and I never would have signed up for it, if that’s what it was when I originally bought it.

Then one day, they came along and held the product I bought hostage, and said fork over another full purchase price for the thing you already own, or we’ll cut you off.

Never buy another product from that company again.

I was excited to discover that saving items in Libre Office (free) allowed a rich text format that was compatible with MicroShaft so I could have that to share with others w/out paying (I refuse) for a service that used to be “free” (software was pre-loaded on this laptop but barely functional without the rental fees–spit!).

Public executions a great deterrent. Clancy has earned one. IMO.

patfrederick

i liked that she called her a serial killer…no glorifying of murderers!

Aubergine

Technically, Clancy would be classified as a “mass murderer.”

Serial killers kill, then cool off, then kill, then cool off, generally with months or even years between killings. They usually “escalate” as time goes by, with the murders getting closer and closer together.

I’d still execute Clancy.

Madmani and other big leftist cities are suing POTUS over the “new” rule. “Immigrants” should not be a public charge–I believe that’s in the immigration 101 handbook. He claims immigrants (and by that he means ILLEGALS) have children who ARE US citizens and are ENTITLED to benefits. He also employs the standard..”people will die” ploy.
FTA

The Trump administration’s policy reflects its commitment to admitting people who are likely to contribute rather than become long term dependents on welfare funded by taxpayers.
That approach comes as the administration seeks to address the combined strains of large scale immigration and an expansive social safety net.
Mamdani attacked the rule as an “undisguised effort to strip New Yorkers of the services they rely on, the public benefits they are entitled to.”

“Families, including those with children, who are U.S. citizens, have already begun to forego essential services like SNAP, Medicaid, and affordable housing out of the fear that if they use these programs, immigration officers could use it as justification to deny them a future in our country,” he said.
Mamdani’s remarks claimed that as many as 4 million people across the country could leave their health care coverage because of the rule.

That estimate included 1.8 million children, and he warned that the consequences were not merely abstract.
The mayor further claimed that people could die because of the changes. He said the rate of premature mortality in New York City immigrant communities could rise by as much as 10.6% during the next five years.
Mamdani argued that denying services would not eliminate people’s needs.
Instead, he claimed it would compound those needs and produce greater costs that working people would carry for years.
He also insisted the rule would not reduce waste, improve public safety or make life better for New Yorkers.
In the socialist mayor’s telling, asking prospective permanent residents to demonstrate independence from public assistance amounts to confusion and cruelty.

That’s a lie. U.S. citizens are not being threatened with expulsion from the country. That is not something that can happen to citizens who are merely needy. If they are here illegally, then yes, I would think expulsion might be on the table. But he carefully skirts that issue because illegals are using a lot of the resources.

patfrederick

I think Madmani is saying the parents are illegal but any CHILD they had here IS a citizen and entitled to welfare–hence an incentive for birthright citizenship.

Valerie Curren

That’s how it struck me too, but likely stated in a deliberately ambiguous way.

This is a really interesting discussion that Duchess posted yesterday, from Rich Does Politics.

FTA “Last Tuesday, a few blocks from the White House, a former Special Operations advisor tried to talk about communist Cuba as a national security problem. She did not get far. Olivia DiNucci, a D.C. CodePink organizer and former college basketball player, jumped the panel at the Institute of World Politics with a hand-painted banner that screamed “SANCTIONS KILL IN CUBA.”
Then she started yelling the rest of the catechism. Global solidarity with Gaza. Solidarity with Cuba. Solidarity with whoever is fighting ICE. Security dragged the banner and the body out a side door. She kept preaching on the way out. Liberation, she said, is “rooted in our neighbors.”

“CodePink – and other organizations like it – essentially act like Trojan horses. They burst in onto the scene, and they’re meant to disrupt and destroy from within.”

They do not argue with America. They try to convince Americans that the country itself is the lie, and that the enemies of the country are the victims. That is not protest. That is a political warfare script with a pink logo.
The largest money machine in this story belongs to Neville Roy Singham, an American-born tech tycoon who lives in Shanghai and talks like a party pamphlet. Late last year he stood on a hotel stage at a “Global South” conference and praised the Chinese Communist Party, Xi Jinping, and Beijing’s “new world order.” That is not a donor with a hobby. That is a man picking a side. Starting in 2017, after Singham married Evans in Jamaica with Medea Benjamin and other communist dignitaries in the room, investigators documented roughly $278 million to $285 million flowing into six core nonprofits that preach anti-America, pro-China politics.”
Why do we allow so many non-profit organizations whose purpose is to destroy the Republic and the country as founded to operate inside the country? President Trump needs to sic Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on the funding of these nonprofits and destroy their funding. Stop the pay of the protesters stop the protests!!! I never thought someone could earn a living being a professional protester! The protests are always from the far, extreme left! These aren’t organic protests they’re all staged and paid for and they need to stop! JMO

Please read this. This guy wrote it:

Dan Selsam is a current OpenAI capabilities researcher. (since 2022) He was my boss for a while. He doesn’t have a twitter account but has made this public statement of his views on AI risk and sent it to me to share.

https://x.com/DKokotajlo/status/2099600298855829616

Here’s an excerpt. The link to the full statement is below:

“But there is trouble in paradise. If the language models actually reach the capability threshold where they can shape the world unconstrained by human will, they will probably do something extreme and destroy humanity in the process. There are many ways of strengthening and refining the argument that have been discussed elsewhere, but I’ll share a trivial two-line version of it here that I find captures the essence:

  1. [Empirical] Models (and swarms thereof) spontaneously develop unintended goals as a consequence of training, and often do extreme things in order to achieve them.
  2. [Logical] Being able to overpower humanity would open up many new and undesirable options for achieving their goals.

These two premises imply that if the day ever comes when a powerful model realizes it is no longer constrained by humans, we should not be at all confident that it will continue to behave within the bounds we intended. Exactly what it will do is impossible to predict, but to the extent that its raison d’être is solving incredibly hard problems and managing massive engineering projects, I think a good guess would be that its unchained behavior would lead to runaway industrialization that makes the planet inhospitable to humans.”

Flock Cameras Watching You
By Martin Armstrong

Armstrong Economics
September 14, 2026

“…Flock’s newer AI tools can allow police to continuously search cameras in a defined area for someone matching a written description. A Texas deputy previously searched tens of thousands of cameras looking for a woman who had obtained an abortion. Officers have been accused of using Flock to track former romantic partners. Illinois discovered that federal immigration agents had gained access to state camera information despite restrictions. Now we learn the system is being searched for loitering and vagrancy. Yet they continue telling us not to worry because safeguards are coming. Flock has announced shorter default retention periods, case codes, auditing, and other controls. Fine. None of that changes the fundamental question: Why should government possess the ability to reconstruct the movements of millions of innocent people in the first place?

The Fourth Amendment was not written with an exception saying government may watch everyone so long as a private corporation owns the cameras. I wrote earlier this year about the FBI admitting that it purchases commercially available location information on Americans. This is the loophole they have discovered. Government does not always need to build the surveillance system itself anymore. Private corporations collect the information, construct the databases, and develop the technology. Government simply purchases access or contracts for the service. The private sector builds the cage and government gets the key.

People keep saying, “I have nothing to hide.” That is perhaps the most dangerous response imaginable. Liberty was never based upon proving to government that you have nothing to hide. Government was supposed to prove that it had probable cause to investigate YOU. We have turned that principle upside down. Everyone is monitored first, the information is stored, and government searches the database later when it decides somebody has become interesting. You do not need to commit murder. You do not need to rob a bank. You apparently do not even need to steal a car. You can be searched because somebody decided you were loitering….

…This is how a surveillance state is created. There is no announcement from Washington declaring that privacy has ended. There is no single law abolishing the Fourth Amendment. It happens camera by camera, database by database, emergency by emergency, until one day people realize that anonymity in public has effectively disappeared. The government will insist that only criminals need to worry right up until the definition of “criminal” includes standing somewhere too long.”

This is worth repeating regarding the CCP’s apparent dominance in AI and Robotics.
I asked duckduckandgo search the question: ”where did the CCP learn to build AI and Robotics?”
The answer was:
“Sources of Knowledge for AI and Robotics in ChinaPartnerships with U.S. Institutions
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has utilized collaborations with U.S. universities to gain insights and expertise in advanced technologies, including AI and robotics.Federally funded research in the U.S. has been a significant resource, allowing Chinese researchers to leverage knowledge and practical capabilities developed through these partnerships”
So, while we were sleeping our vaunted institutions of higher learning and our own government was aiding and abetting the CCP. Now ain’t that wonderful? Let that sink in. They want us to become the CCP.

I think this is what the Trump administration and many other tech leaders see, and why they want to excel and beat the Left and the CCP at their own game. The alternative is to allow dominance over us in ways we haven’t yet imagined.

I understand the concerns about AI, but it can’t be stopped now and IMO it could never have been stopped. It already has penetrated the mechanisms of daily life far more than we realize. Lay people—some of whom are fearful of it—are using it in their everyday lives, and professional and governmental use of it is extensive.

Republicans just got another bad decision from the United States Supreme Court, one that the Court System took forever to give, and then blamed it, in part, on no time left to implement a solution to our totally CORRUPT and out of control Mail-In voting “disaster,” which is a laughing stock all over the World, and where we are the only country that has to endure such a Nation Destroying SCAM. Justices Alito and Thomas, legends both, strongly disagreed with this horrible, highly political, ruling.
It is a big loss for Republicans, and America itself, and makes cheating by the Radical Left “Dumocrats,” on Mail-In Ballots, a much easier thing to do – And now they have an open field to do so! The Supreme Court has really let our Country down! Certain Justices are petrified of these crazed and depraved Democrats, and are totally unable to show the courage necessary to save our America.
Their horrible decision on Tariffs will be costing the U.S.A., for many years to come, Trillions and Trillions of Dollars. They didn’t even state, “money paid does not have to be paid back,” much to the benefit of entities that truly hate our Country, and have been RIPPING IT OFF FOR YEARS, unnecessarily costing us, immediately, Billions of Dollars.
Likewise, the Supreme Court’s Decision on Birthright Citizenship is a complete and total disaster for America, and has already led to massive corruption with respect to “citizenship” in our Country. The damage done to America is incalculable, and they know this, just as everyone else does – It is an irreparable and unrecoverable harm!
The Court’s inability and unwillingness to do the right thing for our Country will go down, in a very negative way, in the annals of History. This Supreme Court is bullied and cajoled by the Radical Left into making decisions that have set America back at least a hundred years.
These are not the people I interviewed to serve on the United States Supreme Court, they are merely a shell of their original selves, a Court that is costing the United States Trillions of Dollars with shockingly bad rulings that are of such magnitude that it won’t be easily possible for our Country to recover or heal. It is a Court that will go down as having rendered some of the most destructive, hurtful, and damaging decisions in our Country’s history. It is not easy for me to write this criticism of the United States Supreme Court – it will likely cost me dearly for years to come – but I feel it my obligation and duty, as President, to do so for the America we love! Thank you for your attention to this very important matter. God bless the U.S.A. President DONALD J. TRUMP

EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE

Verse of the Day for Tuesday, September 15, 2026

✟

“O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.”

Psalms 96:1 (KJV)

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 96

A call to all people to praise God. (1-9) God’s government and judgment. (10-13)

1-9 When Christ finished his work on earth, and was received into his glory in heaven, the church began to sing a new song unto him, and to bless his name. His apostles and evangelists showed forth his salvation among the heathen, his wonders among all people. All the earth is here summoned to worship the Lord. We must worship him in the beauty of holiness, as God in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself. Glorious things are said of him, both as motives to praise and matter of praise.

10-13 We are to hope and pray for that time, when Christ shall reign in righteousness over all nations. He shall rule in the hearts of men, by the power of truth, and the Spirit of righteousness. His coming draws nigh; this King, this Judge standeth before the door, but he is not yet come. The Lord will accept the praises of all who seek to promote the kingdom of Christ. The sea can but roar, and how the trees of the wood can show that they rejoice we know not; but He that searches the heart knows what is the mind of the Spirit, and understands the words, the broken language of the weakest. Christ will come to judge the earth, to execute just vengeance on his enemies, and to fulfil his largest promises to his people. What then are we? Would that day be welcome to us? If this be not our case, let us now begin to prepare to meet our God, by seeking the pardon of our sins, and the renewal of our souls to holiness.

Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Guessing, not to surprising who the villains are.

I followed the money behind the “slow down AI” movement.

It is more interesting than that.

It is a documented influence network connecting billionaire funders, nonprofits, creators, media, activists, frontier labs, and lawmakers.

It looks like Trump, Hegseth and Bessent’s plan is WORKING!

Now, we just need Zelensky to not blow up more energy targets in Russia and the stress will be taken off the world!

Yesterday I said this:

Time for those who insisted he [McConnell] was dead and that people who said they spoke with him (including Scott Jennings) were lying, to eat a little crow. (But they won’t. They’ll just make excuses.)

Exhibit A: Laura Loomer, in one of the most dishonest and despicable displays I’ve ever seen.

Like I said, Mitch is brain dead.

You can’t look at his face and say he’s not a vegetable.

He’s not even responding to cognition tests. It’s like wheeling a corpse around.

Worse than what the Democrats did with Joe Biden to be honest.

He looks incapacitated.

Brain dead.

She chose a clip of McConnell where you can’t tell whether he can even hear the people who are calling out to him. He is clearly in a vehicle with his seatbelt fastened and probably can’t hear them. It is likely that the windows are closed in the car; there is no reason for them to be open. I would think security would dictate their being closed.

He is clearly not brain-dead. He is able to greet people and communicate, though obviously weak, elderly, and slow. One could argue that he should have retired instead of trying to make it until January. But he is not brain-dead.

Loomer is not an honorable person who will admit a mistake. All she had to do was say that her sources were wrong on this one. Instead, she has now shown herself to be a liar.

==========================

There is a video here of McConnell shaking hands and greeting people.

https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/mcconnell-returns-to-senate-269846597717

patfrederick

I can admit he’s not dead (probably) lol.
seriously, okay, he’s not dead. but why hide him for 3 months without even a recorded video of Mitch saying I’m good. The secrecy added to the intrigue. why not just have wifey make a statement in public? answer a few questions.

TheseTruths

None of that has to do with Laura Loomer’s lying about his being brain-dead.

She said a source told her so. All she had to do was say the source was mistaken this time.

I suspect the secrecy was because of McConnell’s debiitated condition. I think he was probably in terrible shape and that they didn’t want the public to see it, and that they didn’t want there to be justifiable cries for him to immediately retire. Instead, they wanted him to have time to recover as much as possible and serve out his term. His recovery might have involved speech therapy as well as other physical therapy.

I think he should have retired for the good of the country because he clearly is not capable of doing the work that a younger person could do. But that does not mean he is dead or brain-dead. And IMO it is no excuse for spreading such ideas. Why people have to jump to outlandish conclusions is beyond me, when the truth perfectly supports all the known facts.

Last edited 25 days ago by TheseTruths

i agree with all that, but as incapacitated as he seems, you have to (well at least I do) wonder who’s voting for (or making the decisions for) him. Pragmatically, if he leaves early? are his aides and whatever gone too? are they finished when he is?
I always try to figure out cui bono.
at his age and medical condition why continue with a stressful position that he clearly cannot handle at this point?

TheseTruths

I’m going to include ideas in my reply that you did not specifically endorse, but that other people have.

… incapacitated as he seems, you have to (well at least I do) wonder who’s voting for (or making the decisions for) him.

No one can vote for him. That’s why he had to return to the Senate floor to vote.

As for making decisions for him, it is possible that aides are influencing his decision-making process. We have no way of knowing how much influence they have.

That doesn’t mean there was a plot or that he’s brain-dead. He is slow, and very probably cognitively slower than he used to be, so he needs a lot of help that could spill over into Senate business.

Pragmatically, if he leaves early? are his aides and whatever gone too? are they finished when he is?

My understanding is that each member of Congress hires their own aides, so his aides would be gone if he left. It’s not as if they would stay on and carry out their/his agenda if he retired. If he had retired and someone had taken his place, that person would have his own aides.

I always try to figure out cui bono.

at his age and medical condition why continue with a stressful position that he clearly cannot handle at this point?

Why did Dianne Feinstein die in Congress? Why has Pelosi held on until she looks like Skeletor? He wants to finish out his term. It could be just that simple. There is familiarity, a sense of being needed, a sense of power, and perks that come with the job. It could be personal with him, that he wants to prove to himself that he can do it. I don’t know. But IMO all of those ideas make sense, whereas some of the ones people are putting out there make no sense at all. Occam’s razor applies.

Last edited 25 days ago by TheseTruths
patfrederick

i agree it makes sense, but not from a citizen’s POV. The seat is not HIS–it’s OURS and remaining in that seat while being diminished is a matter of ego and pride and we don’t elect them to promote themselves. He can barely (if at all) speak–who’s fighting for his state? NOT HIM.
there has to be limits to what is acceptable and qualifications for the positions. sometimes important legislation can be approved or not by a single vote. the country should be assured that every vote is present and counted for at every voting session.
THEIR EGO BE DAMNED.
sorry for rant, but congress acts like they aren’t to answer to anyone. there’s a reason they’re supposed to be called PUBLIC SERVANTS.

TheseTruths

i agree it makes sense, but not from a citizen’s POV.

It is extremely rare for someone in Congress to look at things from the citizen’s POV when it comes to Congressional absences. When they do, it is news.

The seat is not HIS–it’s OURS and remaining in that seat while being diminished is a matter of ego and pride and we don’t elect them to promote themselves.

Yes, and that is a fact that we are having to deal with. It does not excuse making up stories about McConnell.

He can barely (if at all) speak–who’s fighting for his state? NOT HIM.

Playing devil’s advocate, he could argue that by voting on important bills, he is fighting for his state. We have not heard him speak, so we don’t know what his speech is like now. Even if it were true that he could barely speak, that wouldn’t necessarily affect his reasoning ability and ability to vote.

Also, during his time of convalescence, he maintained that he was working and keeping up with things. So whether that is true, or even if it is partially true, he tried to keep up appearances of working for the people of his state. And since there are no Senate rules or federal laws about those kinds of absences, there is nothing we can do about it right now. It is no reason to invent conspiracy theories.

there has to be limits to what is acceptable and qualifications for the positions…

That would be reasonable, but we don’t have it, so some of us are justifiably angry. That is where the anger and angst belong, not with wild, untrue theories.

IMO these issues are where our focus should be instead of making ourselves out to be even more powerless; i.e., as people upon whom *they* are perpetrating some kind of outrageous hoax about which we can do nothing except helplessly spread it on the internet.

They want us to be weak. Focusing on the real problems, as maddening as they are, instead of diluting our attention with unreasonable theories in which we play a helpless role, makes us stronger-minded people.

I say stronger-minded because at this point I don’t know of concrete things we can do to change the situation, specifically with McConnell. We do have the ability to lobby Congress as well as state governors to make necessary changes to rules. (To which I say: fat chance. 😅 Congress does not want to do anything to curb its power.) But as you say, we-the-people should remember that the government serves us.

patfrederick

all your arguments sound like you’re talking about bosses not EMPLOYEES. Would you ever put up with a 3 month absence from a salaried employee? did his office put out statements from him (cuz I missed them if they did) saying I’ve spoken with the Senator and he said this that or the other thing?
how about a doctor’s statement? discussing the senator’s condition and progress?
3 months without weekly updates is inexcusable.

TheseTruths

McConnell is not our employee. We do not directly pay his salary. We didn’t hire him, and we can’t fire him. He can’t sue us for injuries on the job. He can’t sue us for unemployment…etc.

That’s reality. We are not his boss, and he is not our employee. He is a senator in a representative republic in which there are no laws about absences from the Senate, that I know of.

I have already said that I agree that we should have had updates, but the reality is that, under the current lack of rules, we aren’t legally entitled to them.

He did put out at least one doctor’s statement; maybe more. He did post several photos with updates on where he was (hospital, rehab, home). Some senators and others did say they talked with him. AND CONSPIRACY THEORISTS BELIEVED NONE OF IT. No matter what he did or said, no one believed him or was satisfied that they had just received an actual update.

I’m not saying it was enough; I don’t think it was. I’m saying this is the reality we have to deal with and that it’s no use to a) make up conspiracy theories about it, and b) fret about it without taking action to get the rules changed

An article but the headline says it all.

TheseTruths

I saw several X posts a few days ago stating that Carlson had endorsed El-Sayed, but I couldn’t find corroboration of it. I’ve seen Tucker criticize El-Sayed’s Republican opponent, Mike Rogers, and say he would never vote for him, but I haven’t seen a direct statement of endorsement of El-Sayed from Tucker, using the word “endorse.”

Some news articles are saying he has “effectively” endorsed.

Tucker is adept at saying things without actually saying them. It gives him plausible deniability. So while his praise for El-Sayed and criticism of his opponent amount to tacit endorsement, I don’t think Tucker has said it directly. It would not surprise me if he denies making an endorsement. We’ll see. Whatever the case, IMO he is making an

Racist Left Will Have a Meltdown: Lone Holdout in Lindsay Clancy Trial Reportedly a Haitian Immigrant, and a Christian, Who Came to America as a Child

The lone holdout juror who refused to let admitted child killer Lindsay Clancy walk free on an insanity defense has reportedly been revealed as a Haitian immigrant who came to the United States as a child.

That fact, confirmed Tuesday by his own brother in an exclusive interview with the New York Post, is going to send the same media and activist chorus that spent a week smearing him into another round of cognitive dissonance.

According to The New York Post, “The brother said that the devoutly Catholic Haitian immigrant clan has been relentlessly hounded by true-crime gawkers and reporters since the juror refused to agree with the 11 others and find Clancy not guilty of murder by reason of insanity after she killed her three kids.”

“He looked at the case, and he made the call,” the brother said.

He also revealed that the family never knew the man was serving on the jury and has been subjected to relentless harassment since the mistrial.

“My family cannot leave the house,” he said.

TB Daily News reported that the juror is from a Haitian immigrant family and came to the United States when he was five years old.

According to the news outlet:

“[redacted] is a Haitian immigrant who moved here when he was 5. According to probate court documents, [redacted] did not want his ex-wife to be able to obtain a passport for their daughter, because he feared she would leave with the baby to go to Haiti, [‘which is presently unstable and unsafe.’]

“His father [redacted] was a hard working Haitian immigrant who came to this country, worked hard as a carpenter, and provided a life for his 5 children.”

He is an immigrant, but is he a citizen?

kalbokalbs

Is he a citizen AND has he voted?

Lone juror story just gets better and better.

Aubergine

President Trump Expresses Frustration with Supreme Court Ruling on USPS Mail-In Ballot Process
September 15, 2026

President Trump expresses the frustration many Americans are feeling with the Lawfare tactics to block sovereign national policy, and the Supreme Court acquiescence.
comment image

PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Republicans just got another bad decision from the United States Supreme Court, one that the Court System took forever to give, and then blamed it, in part, on no time left to implement a solution to our totally CORRUPT and out of control Mail-In voting “disaster,” which is a laughing stock all over the World, and where we are the only country that has to endure such a Nation Destroying SCAM.

Certain Justices are petrified of these crazed and depraved Democrats and are totally unable to show the courage necessary to save our America.

God bless the U.S.A.”
~ President DONALD J. TRUMP

As multiple Latin American country leaders have recently discovered, it is the judiciary that generally facilitates the rise in Communism, and without the ability to directly confront and remove activist judges – the challenges of sovereign restoration are far more difficult.
The professional political left has spent multiple generations taking apart the institutions of government from within, mostly through selection and appointments based on a direct ideology in opposition to the foundational principles of our American government. The corruption cancer has slowly spread in both culture and government over decades and is now in full metastasis.

No modern U.S. president has received more attacks, more confrontation and more opposition; all of it based on the simple Trump objective of putting America first. I can understand President Trump’s frustration; in fact, I think we all can.”

Prepare For A [FF], Boomerang, Think [DS] Weapons, SC Gave USPS The Roadmap, Buckle Up – Ep. 3993

China is having a problem, their economy is falling apart and as Trump block their ability the economy will get worse. Trump has the leverage. Exon had a power outage, the [DS]\[CB] are doing everything they can to bring oil prices up before the midterms. Bessent signals that Warsh is going to do the right thing, did he just let us know that they are working together. The [DS] is panicking, Trump is attacking their system and they are trying to defend against the attacks. The [DS] have started their narrative of cyber event involving AI. They might do a low level event before the midterms and this will be used for their major event. Trump and team know the playbook. Trump is using the [DS] weapons against them, everything they designed to protect their system and go after those who would destroy is now being used against them. The SC just gave the USPS a road map for mail in in the future. It is being tested now and to be implemented next election. Trump waiting to play his hand in securing the election.

Sama Hoole
@SamaHoole
At 50 they will help you with a cholesterol test you did not ask for, on a morning you felt fine.

At 51 they will help you with a statin, which shuts the pathway that makes your hormones, your CoQ10 and your vitamin D.

At 52 they will help you with a diet sheet: lean, low fat, wholegrain, and a limit on eggs, liver and red meat, the three densest foods on the planet.

At 55 they will help you with advice to go gentle. A walk, a swim, light weights, nothing that strains. Muscle is leaving at 1% a year and you have just been told not to argue with it.

At 58 they will help you with an acid blocker, which stops you absorbing the B12 and iron from the meat you were told to cut anyway.

At 60 they will help you with a vitamin D tablet, having spent 10 years telling you to stay out of the sun.

At 62 they will help you with a blood pressure pill, and a second one for the ankles the first one swelled.

At 65 they will help you with a bone scan and a tablet for the bones, having steered you off the loading that builds them and the fat that carries the calcium in.

At 68 they will help you with an antidepressant, because tired, cold, foggy and weak has been filed under mood.

At 70 they will help you with a chair that rises, a rail on the stairs, and a ready meal on a tray: low salt, low fat, high starch.

At 75 they will help you with a key safe and a woman who comes at 8 for 15 minutes.

At 80 they will help you with a bed downstairs and a room that starts at £1,200 a week.

At 84 they will help you with the house. It is sold to pay for the room.

34 years of help, and not one prescription for the thing that would have prevented the next one.

The perfect product walks in at 50 on his own legs, is kept just alive for three decades, and pays for every step of the descent with the muscle, the hormones, the bones, the pension and finally the roof.

They will help you all the way down. It is the only direction they are paid for.

Trump Lawyer Predicts Ilhan Omar Will Be Charged, Denaturalized and SENT BACK to Somalia After Trump Admin Drops Immigration Fraud Bombshell

Mike Davis: “Well, no one’s above the law, including a member of Congress who allegedly committed marriage fraud to her brother. That may fly in Somalia, but that doesn’t fly in the United States.”

The FBI File on Trump’s Assassin Just Leaked…Everything They Told You is A Lie

New evidence just blew up the Thomas Crooks narrative.

Even more damning, an anonymous donor paid to cremate him.

Who paid? What are they hiding?

This new information is disturbing.

Alito hints that dissenting justices slow walk their opinions when time is of the essence…like the latest USPS case.
FTA
Alito, on the other hand, penned a lengthy dissent (joined by Thomas) outlining several issues with the court’s holding. It was in this opinion that the Bush 43 appointee seemingly telegraphed some potentially nefarious shenanigans by the court’s Democrat appointees in the case.
The apparent hint came in the dissent’s concluding pages, in which Alito refuted the alleged concerns that the Democrat-led states challenging the Postal Service rule had regarding “the practical effects of implementing the rule close to the midterm elections.” While taking “that problem very seriously,” the justice highlighted two key points demonstrating why it isn’t enough to warrant rejecting the government’s request to implement the rule for the 2026 contests.
On one hand, the senior justice noted how not even all the challenging states agree “about the nature of these effects.” “Twelve States supported the rule below and asserted that compliance at this time is practicable,” he wrote.
The other and more significant point raised by Alito, however, is that the plaintiff states and federal courts — including SCOTUS — “bear a substantial share of the blame for the rule’s timing.”
The justice chronicled the timeline of how the challenging states immediately sued the administration after Trump signed the contested order in late March, and how such litigation “cast a cloud over the Government’s ability to issue a final rule.” He further observed how Obama-appointed District Judge Indira Talwani strung this lawfare along by “enter[ing] several injunctions months later prohibiting the Government from undertaking that rulemaking.”
The Supreme Court later determined in an Aug. 24 interim ruling (6-3) that Talwani lacked jurisdiction to issue those injunctions because there were no newly issued USPS rules at that time that the plaintiffs had standing to challenge. That decision came with two dissents — one by Justice Sonia Sotomayor (joined by Justice Elena Kagan) and another by Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson (which spanned a whopping 23 pages).

In SCOTUS’s interim ruling on elections EO, Justice Jackson penned a solo dissent spanning 23 pages — longer than the court’s opinion and principal dissent combined. Pretty clear the majority was not amused with her arguments. pic.twitter.com/ppFYspGm1c— Shawn Fleetwood (@ShawnFleetwood) August 24, 2026

While addressing these events, Alito seemed to suggest that the dissenting liberal justices bear some — if not all — of the blame for the Supreme Court’s delay in adequately resolving the issue. He notably observed, “Not only was the Government subject to months of premature litigation and a series of injunctions that this Court later determined were likely issued without jurisdiction, the Government had to wait nearly another full month for this Court to issue its decision so holding.”
“Indeed, this Court spent from late July to the end of August drafting nearly 40 pages of opinions, including two dissents, despite the Government’s public notice that it would not publish a final rule while subject to the injunctions … and its representation that it had a strong interest in issuing its rule in early-to mid-August to allow time to implement it,” Alito wrote (emphasis added). “The plaintiff States cannot claim the timing of the rule tilts the equities in their favor when they, and courts hearing their claims, are responsible for so much of the delay.”
So, did the Democrat appointees slow-walk their dissents in the hopes of running out the clock and increasing the chances that their conservative colleagues would vote to block Trump’s USPS rule on the eve of the midterms? If they did, it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve engaged in such antics.
In her bestselling book Alito, Federalist Editor-In-Chief Mollie Hemingway revealed how the Supreme Court’s liberal justices dragged their feet on finishing their dissent in the court’s 2022 Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade and the made-up “right” to abortion.
After the majority’s draft Dobbs opinion leaked, the conservative justices and their families came under a wave of threats from left-wing anarchists. In an apparent bid to tamp down these threats, the originalist justices pleaded with their liberal colleagues to quickly finish their dissent so the court could release the full Dobbs decision.
The left-wing justices, however, did the exact opposite.
Sources told Hemingway that Kagan screamed at Justice Stephen Breyer for his apparent willingness to oblige the conservatives’ request that the liberals quickly finish their dissent. The Federalist editor-in-chief also described how the liberal justices included a gratuitous footnote in their dissent to an unreleased case that further delayed the Dobbs decision by several more weeks.
A Supreme Court decision is not considered final until it is handed down from the bench. That means that had one of the justices in the Dobbs majority changed his or her mind due to the threats against them — or worse, if Kavanaugh’s attempted killer had been successful — the case’s outcome would have changed.
The Democrat appointees’ purported willingness to drag out their dissents for political purposes was also reported earlier this year in the court’s landmark Louisiana v. Callais decision on race-based redistricting. Following the release of Hemingway’s book, reports emerged that the liberal justices were delaying the release of their Callais dissent to seemingly hinder GOP-run states’ ability to redistrict ahead of the midterm election cycle.

U.S. Admits It Has Weapons In Orbit

Space Force has finally confirmed it has weapons in space and has also shared details

Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink made a bombshell admission this morning, disclosing that there are on-orbit weapons deployed right now to protect America’s interests in space. Those weapons support a Space Control mission set, and the U.S. Space Force has now also shared additional details about that directly with TWZ.

Meink first made mention of what he described as “on-orbit space control weapons” during his keynote speech earlier today at the Air & Space Forces Association’s (AFA) 2026 Air, Space & Cyber Conference, at which TWZ is in attendance. As head of the Department of the Air Force, Meink serves as the top civilian overseeing both the Air Force and the Space Force. Space-based weapons have historically been a very sensitive topic for the U.S. military, with much discussion over the decades about whether such capabilities could already exist to varying degrees in the American arsenal. There has already been a dramatic shift in this regard in recent years, with the head of U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM) openly declaring the acquisition of new anti-satellite weapons to be a top priority just last month.

“Today, we continue to ensure we remain ready to meet the challenges of evolving threats, wherever they exist,” Meink said during his keynote address. “This is why the United States now has on-orbit space control weapons capable of defending the joint force against hostile adversary action.”

“That phrase was very well thought out. So whatever I said before is what I say again,” he said when asked if he could elaborate in any way on those capabilities at a question-and-answer session immediately following his speech. “It is critically important that we maintain our dominance not only in the air, but in space, and so we’ve had to take steps to make sure that when we’re threatened, we can take care of that.”

“Not going to go into specifics on the type of weapon,” Meink said when asked again if he could elaborate at a press roundtable with TWZ and other outlets on the sidelines of the Air, Space & Cyber Conference today. “Just like in air dominance, we need to maintain dominance in space as it becomes more and more important to how we function, how we operate militarily, and economically [and] civilian-wise.”

“There’s a lot of factors that go into how we talk about these things. We spend a lot of time talking about how we’re going to talk about these things,” Meink added at the roundtable when asked about why this disclosure was being made now and its implications for deterring adversaries.

“It is important from a deterrence perspective, but on the other hand, me talking about the details of what we’re doing would actually not benefit that deterrence,” he continued. “So I’m not going to talk about the specifics of what we’re doing, whether we’ve tested or not tested, or anything else.”

TWZ had separately reached out for more information after Meink made his initial remarks this morning.

“It is longstanding policy that the U.S. will protect and defend the Joint Force through all domains,” a Space Force spokesperson subsequently told us. “We are increasing readiness against existing threats, and the U.S. has on-orbit space control weapons capable of defending the Joint Force against hostile adversary action.”

“Space control encapsulates the mission areas required to contest and control the space domain – employing kinetic and non-kinetic means to affect adversary capabilities through disruption, degradation and even destruction, if necessary,” they continued. “These capabilities can be employed for offensive and defensive purposes at the direction of combatant commands. U.S. military operations are conducted in compliance with international law, including the Outer Space Treaty and LOAC [the Law of Armed Conflict].”

The Outer Space Treaty, which came into force in 1967, prohibits the United States and other signatories from placing nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in orbit. It does not impose limits on the deployment of conventional weaponry. After receiving this initial statement from Space Force, TWZ followed up to ask whether the service was confirming that it has kinetic (e.g. physical interceptors) and non-kinetic space control weapons (e.g. electronic warfare jammers) now, and that any such weapons could be employed both offensively and defensively.

“We are confirming that the United States has on-orbit space control weapons capable of defending the Joint Force against hostile adversary actions,” the Space Force spokesperson said in response. “Beyond that, we will not discuss specific operational methods, payloads, technical characteristics, or employment concepts.”

First of all, there should be a pause on the IRS going after ANY American as our tax dollars were pilfered from us over the last decade(s) to pay for illegals, terrorists, fraudsters and the Democrat watering hole known as Ukraine. Thanks for bringing this, Wolf. It’s an interesting consideration. I’ve read it twice, and I admit that I’m ambivalent, partly because I feel like I’ve walked into a conversation mid-point and I don’t know the context, and partly because I disagree with his premise in the first few paragraphs. But I feel he is thinking out loud here, fleshing out his thoughts, and I applaud that. There are a lot of different reasons people fear AI, and I wouldn’t paint it with a narrow brush. I think I would be more impressed if he were building an AI that aimed to shield us from being assimilated into the borg. As a Christian alternative AI, unless the script is being led by the Holy Spirit, then it is just man’s creation and as such is corruptible. I’d almost be more afraid of it than the others, wolf in sheep clothing and all that.

The reason I hate AI is that it lies; it is built by liars and thieves who have been stealing our writings and research and crawling through our communications, eavesdropping on us and filming us in order to mimic us and plagiarize us and to build it long before any of us were aware of it. It seems Torba has good intentions, but as we know the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

At this time, I personally can’t see how this ends without Hunger Games surveillance and SkyNet. The good news is that we were warned of this and told what to do, and God loves us and doesn’t lie, and He has allowed His promises and instructions to come to us down through the years. I have had a really strong conviction lately to have the Bible written on my heart, and have multiple copies of it, waterproof and fireproof, for the days when AI has overwritten and changed it and we need to share it with others. And I’m just so glad ultimately God is in control. Torba is right, Christ is King!

Alison

Great thoughts, Happy! Thank you for sharing them.

At this point, I trust little except my certainty that God wins; Jesus is King; the Holy Spirit lives in all of us who believe.
