True story:
When I was 15, I had an outbreak of warts on my hands. I mean, a real, serious outbreak. There were about 30 of them, most small, but some big.
At 15 years old, of course this was so awful. I was embarrassed by it. My Dad knew of a man they called a “wart-witch,” so he took me to see him. The man was very old. He was sitting on his front porch. He gently held my hands and touched every wart. Then he let me go. I asked him when they’d go away. He simply said “pretty soon.”
My Dad offered to pay him. He drew back and said vehemently, “No. God will take the gift from me if I take money for it.”
Less than three weeks later, every wart on my hands was gone. I have never had another.

Erika rightly admits that Will has a fair point at 1 hour 50 minutes, but when he makes it again at 1..55, using the point that global catastrophism by asteroid is allowed, but global catastrophism by flood is not, Erika should have (IMO) conceded that he has a great point, and that it is evidence which must be consulted to make a choice in what is allowed to stand. She didn’t do that. Instead, she dodged badly.
Her denial that the major asteroid impacts were “global” catastrophes – that they were local – I see why she says that, but it’s a very immature and badly technical argument. Of course those asteroids were global catastrophes. The global (truly) iridium layer is perfect proof of the global nature, even though the damage was greater close to the impact.
I think that she is likely willing to admit that megaflooding is directly responsible for the Biblical story of Noah, as a real geological event, and she is even probably setting it up there, by mentioning it, but it is the lack of global evidence for a literal flooding of the Earth at ANY time that is why global catastrophism by flood falls, NOT that there is no evidence for a megaflood anywhere, at any time, because there is. The problem of the geologically backed flooding in the region, for YEC, is that it rides perfectly on old Earth geology, and early modern human history – and that’s not enough for YEC, who have to find LITERAL Biblical correctness, and cannot accept mere historical and metaphorical Biblical correctness.
This, despite Christ being a master of metaphor, but I digress, and probably should, lest I start a new movement that pushes Biblical literalism to new heights, alleging that all of Jesus’ parables actually happened as “true crime” events – so that Jesus is just as literal about things as they are!

Angus King of Maine — said they would vote to reopen if the Senate passed three annual spending bills and extend the rest of government funding until late January. “The time to act is now,” Thune said.

A bit of a head’s-up on what is coming later —
I listened to the oral argument in the Tariffs case from this past week before the SCOTUS.
I made me laugh at all the prognosticators — including on the right — whose takeaway was “The Admin. faces skepticism over its assertions of power, even from conservative Justices.”
When the Sol. Gen. is the first to argue, raise your hand if you think the inclination of the Justices is to stand up and applaud before he utters a word, and then in their questioning simply say “We agree with you completely. Don’t trouble yourself to say anything.”
OF COURSE they are going to ask questions that are phrased with skepticism. Even when they agree with a particular litigating position, it is always the Court’s practice to pull at the threats and push to the boundaries to see where the extremes are and if the argument still holds up.
This is not cynical — it’s part of probing both sides. The only reason for the reactions I read is that when you have a 6-3 court and the SG represents a position that is — superficially — in alignment with the 6, probing questions are always going to cause the OTHER side to say “See how much trouble you’re in — even your side disagrees.”
I’ll go through some of the questions and answers in an article coming up in a few hours.
But, for the most part, none of the arguments advanced by Sotomayor or Jackson had any traction with other Justices — and Justice Barrett seemed to go out of her way to blunt any point made by Justice Jackson. I think this should worry those who think the Justices are aligned against the Admin — AND I think it shows the issues Justice Barrett has with Justice Jackson exposed at the end of the last term are still there.
One feature of Justice Jackson’s questioning remains consistent — her questions almost always include within their text or context her view of the issue. Here questions of the Neal Katyal arging against the Administration were uniformly softball questions right in line with his arguments.

Because of the court’s trick–not allowing the gov’t to appeal the ruling immediately–states jumped the gun and submitted requests for snap funding. they loaded recipient’s cards and were telling them to spend it. One of the worst seas I’ve ever been in.” However, no distress signals were sent before she sank; Captain McSorley’s last (7:10 p.m.) message to Arthur M. Anderson was, “We are holding our own”. Her crew of 29 perished, and no bodies were recovered. The exact cause of the sinking remains unknown, though many books, studies, and expeditions have examined it. Edmund Fitzgerald may have been swamped, suffered structural failure or topside damage, grounded on a shoal, or suffered from a combination of these.
The disaster is one of the best-known in the history of Great Lakes shipping, in part because Canadian singer Gordon Lightfoot made it the subject of his 1976 popular ballad “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald“. Lightfoot wrote the hit song after reading an article, “The Cruelest Month”, in the November 24, 1975, issue of Newsweek. The sinking led to changes in Great Lakes shipping regulations and practices that included mandatory survival suits, depth finders, positioning systems, increased freeboard, and more frequent inspection of vessels.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. I HIGHLY advise watching it. You need to know what is being distributed in the air that is being disbursed from military as well as disguised commercial aircraft.
I’m halfway through, and I have issues with the guy and his lack of evidence to back up what he’s saying. I realize it’s difficult to provide links while speaking, but he makes statements about “we know they’re doing…whatever” with no documentation.
My skepticism about his presentation does not mean I’m skeptical about all of the things he said or that I don’t believe them. I believe certain things happen to varying degrees. There are nuances to these issues.
As with many subjects, several things are being conflated. He talks about Operation Popeye in Vietnam, which was cloud seeding. No one disputes that cloud seeding has been going on for decades. It is not evidence for chemtrails.
No one that I know of disputes that there are chemtrails in the sky. His assertion that they contain high amounts of certain chemicals might be true. If the goal is to harm the health of the population, then *they* are also harming themselves. If the goal is for climate change, thinking that the presence of certain chemicals in the atmosphere would accomplish whatever their goals are, then those “environmentally conscious” people are ignoring profound damage that implementing their programs is causing, and that includes damage to themselves and their loved ones.
At about 28:20 he points out that when it was below zero in Dallas a few years ago, it was 33 degrees colder there than at the North Pole. I would like to have a meteorologist expound on this. He makes no mention of the Polar Vortex. He doesn’t seem to be presenting all the facts, just ideas that support his beliefs, and that is a turnoff.
I don’t know if I’ll have time to watch the rest or whether I will want to spend time on it based on what I’ve seen so far, even though I know that some of what he’s talking about is true (the existence of cloud seeding, for example). It is a lot of conclusion-drawing, speculation, and innuendo without proof.

We have species of trees that have died out or nearly done so in the Appalachians. Local beekeepers I know who we have bought honey from in the past have noted the significant decrease in the bee population over the past half dozen years. Your decision to review or not. For my part I do not want confirmation bias in my review. It would be far better if it was not true. However, states with ample resources and access to information are reviewing and outlawing. That tells me where there is smoke there is probably fire. Which is also included in geoengineering and has been used prominently lately.
If you mean reviewing and outlawing chemtrails, I have no problem with that. There could very well be negative aspects of chemtrails. And the fact that those who are spraying chemtrails are also likely spraying themselves and their loved ones, or maybe future loved ones, is something that needs to be addressed.
I don’t know what is meant by this. I don’t want confirmation bias either. As I said before, I want evidence to back up what is said, and I want to see that the presenter is covering all the bases, which Wiginton did not do with regard to cold snaps in the South a few years ago. To me, that is bias.
We are quick to jump on climate alarmists and say, “It’s weather. Weather does change and is unpredictable.” But when changes in the weather are needed to support a certain position, people will use them for that. IMO that seems inconsistent.
