Let’s take a quick look at the Big Three American cities. NYC going commie. LA burning it down to Build Back Better. Chitcago thugs and cartels creating an insurrection of murder and violence. Throw in Sharia in Minneapolis for good measure.
What’s not to like?
If NYC votes a Muslim commie into office the whole mess will implode and all the rich fat cat parasites will lose massive amounts of wealth and fake happy times playing the dog on Broadway with their elitist friends. The good police and fire personnel will exit for warmer climates and better quality of life in the exodus, which helps those services in areas that need them with all of the population growth.
However, I hold no affinity for NYC (or LA, Chitcago, Minneapolis) at all, so I may be biased. Maybe. 😂
while i agree watching NYC burn while madmami plays the fiddle would be satisfying–it wouldn’t be just a NY problem. NYC is a major city–when the cancer spreads–and it will–NYers will scream for federal assistance. and they will be rescued…again. at the cost to all of us.
I remember the New York of the 1970’s, pre-Rudy Guiliani. It was a hellhole. A nightmare. But it didn’t affect me or the people around me in Georgia where I grew up, at all.
I think having a raghead mayor might be just the enema New York needs to get rid of a lot of its shit for another 40-50 years.

I still have hard time believing the recent citation that 75% of NYC is on the dole.
Practically ALL major US cities are hell-holes, and the conditions to have brought them to this pass have been 100% orchestrated, slowly at first over decades, but rapidly at last right now.
It is my personal belief that humans are not designed to live in city conditions. We need more open space, grass, trees, sunshine, and contact with nature.
Small towns with big lots for houses, with back yards and gardens, should be the closest together people live. Ideally, most people should have more room than that. In my humble opinion, of course.

I came across a study (yeah, I know!) that concluded that the optimal size for a community / town / city is about 500.
One needn’t know *all* the inhabitants, but at least the majority, even if only by face.
More than that, with all the various social circles, knowing what’s going on with most of the inhabitants is doable. One knows the scoop, when permanently living there.
Contrast that with today’s cities, where the anonymity is rampant: strangers everywhere! One must keep up ones guard, and never relax.
It’s “Too much, Too many people, Too much” (that’s a song lyric).
Of old, when crimes were committed, the witnesss told those they knew, and then it spread around town. No hiding, in the main, for the perpetrators.
Now, with millions in urban sprawl, all seem to be mostly strangers – and so, often unaccountable.
Small connections / circles are protected, and few may join. In other words, (effective) isolation (echo chambers) in big cities. Social silos, and division.
NOT the way I believe life should be.

I was half way watching local Detroit news after the late football game. There was an interview with one of the lawyers of a “terrorist suspect” who is uncharged yet in custody. This lawyer claimed that all the accused were born in America, legal gun owners, & video game playing youths, like late teens to early 20s, & none were plotting any type of terrorist attack. I want to tell you guys about a Walmart associate I met this Summer in Northern Michigan & have had 3 seperate conversations with on a couple of my trips there.
He caught my ears the first time with his British accent, an older gent stocking items in one of the toy aisles. I struck up a controversial conversation with him about how the UK is going downhill. First he seemed surprised that an American woman would want to talk about that & then we chatted about the dangers of creeping Islam.
He ended up telling me a bit about his rough childhood, mostly raised in orphanages & later out on the streets before he was an adult. iirc, he got into trouble in his surviving on the streets escapades & was given a choice by a judge to either go to prison/juvenile reform or go into military service–he chose the later. In 2 different conversations I asked him about what branch he served in, he’d get a twinkle in his eye & both times said “Girl Scouts”. For some reason this made me think he might have actually been in some type of UK special forces division…
In our last conversation he waxed eloquent on how much he appreciates his right to bear arms here in the US, how guns are great equalizers, especially for women. He told me of a recent incident in the UK where some do-gooder took in a Pakistani Muslim & that man went after his benefactor, assaulting him with a blade. Someone stepped in to help the foolish man & both of those men were murdered by the Pakistani…Mike seemed to have lingering concerns about creeping Islam, for good reason! No go zones, no free speech, & other depredations on freedom in the UK all got touched on by both of us…
In several conversations he mentioned how much he “loves it here”, now living in some type of small town in America. I don’t know if he’s a US citizen or not, but he’s definitely freedom & reality minded based on our conversations. Last month he mentioned that he’d just turned 80 (he looks quite good for his age, clear-eyed & sharp-witted). I was touched that he actually remembered my name the last time I saw him, a few days before my return trip home.
If I see him again, not likely sooner than Memorial Day next year, I might ask him what he thinks of Chuckles & the Royals & maybe even why or why not he might choose to become an American, not just live here. If he’s online at all I Might mention this place 🙂

Freedom from JetPack has a lot of benefits, but exactly how that works out is best left unsaid.

Johnson asked the president why he halted LNG exports to Europe, but the president insisted he never issued that order. “Mr. President, yes, you did. It was an executive order like three weeks ago,” Johnson replied before explaining the damage it caused to the EU and US economies.
The US Marshals are going to be busy rounding up the 4245 criminals. Then the federal courts are going to be swamped with habeas corpus petitions. 🙃

Since the only issue for all those habeas petitions will be the legal issue of whether the autopen-signed pardons are valid, they will consolidate all of them into sort of a single class action habeas petition and transfer it to SCOTUS. 😯

Our son’s Make A Wish Trip to Orlando & practically all the theme parks we could fit in included a “Give Kids The World” pin that Josiah would wear & it allowed our family to go to the front of the line or the “handicapped” entrance. This was Key to this vacation not being a total disaster. Kids on The Spectrum waiting hours in line is a brutal form of Torture for the family & Everyone Else in eye or ear shot!

The homeless / dispossessed / demoralized seem to CRAVE the ‘now,’ and spend their entire “entitlement” benefits for the month within a week – sometimes within a single day! Incredible immaturity.
I try always to remember that America has been under attack, in many insidious ways, for DECADES, and the 42 million on food stamps is the sad result.
Having a ‘punch’ is good, but knowing where to aim that punch is necessary. Without direction, punches do more evil than good.
One must target the REAL enemy, rather than those who seem to be easy targets for ire and blame.

Here is another photo I found, with Ladybird, Judge Sara Hughes who was swearing in LBJ, and another man smiling. I have smiled many times at funerals for various reasons. I suspect there was a moment of levity due to something that happened or something the judge said. I don’t believe for a second that Ladybird was smiling at the thought of JFK just having been assassinated. To do that at such a moment with the eyes of the world on them and Jackie Kennedy standing right there would be not only inhuman but also so unwise as to be stupid, and I don’t believe those things of her.

My dad’s mom’s dad was widowed a year & died of a broken heart.
Dad’s dad’s dad was widowed for decades & never remarried. He ended up being quite the family patriarch & took in at least 2 generations of several of his 5 surviving children’s families over quite a few years. He worked in a lumber yard into his 70s having started in that business as a pre-teen in “The Lost City of Damian”. Dad said he & his dad & granddad visited Damien when he was a teen & his grandpa knew Every single person whose name was legible in the overgrown unofficial burial ground & had stories to tell about each of them from his experiences of nearly 80 years before.
Mom’s dad’s dad was widowed 2 or 3 times when a young man, losing young wives in childbirth, I think. He sent for at least one mail order bride from the old country, Finland, & she too died young. His first wife died when Grandpa was 5 years old. There was a lost child, toddler, from either the first or second marriage. Grandpa’s step mom lived long enough to give him a half sister. His dad did not remarry after losing 2 or 3 young wives, to my knowledge.
Mom’s dad was widowed & lived for several years after Grandma died. He had post-stroke dementia so remarriage was probably not on his mind at all.
Dad’s dad outlived Grandma by a decade. We used to joke with him about all the widowed ladies that hoped he’d pick them but he had no interest in remarriage after losing her. He kept himself busy learning new skills, candle & candy making, & picking up some of my grandma’s Christian outreach activities, like her greeting card ministry.
My dad’s been widowed for about a half year now. I sincerely doubt that he is even remotely interested in remarriage. My parents had a near 7 decade love story, being high school sweethearts & celebrated their 63rd anniversary shortly before Mom’s death.
Family tradition, I guess! Good for them. My one grandfather who outlived his wife only lasted for 7 months. I think he died of grief, but the doctors called it lung cancer. He never even went for treatment, he never said a word. They diagnosed him, and he died in less than a week. I can’t imagine the physical pain he was in all that time.
I think it’s pretty strange that mostly the men in my family end up as the grieving spouse. My dad’s dad said of his widowerhood that he was glad he was the survivor because the pain of that loss was so intense that he didn’t think my grandma could have borne it if she were the one left alone.
I’m sorry for your grandpa’s loss & suffering (in silence & alone). So heartbreaking 🙁

1.There is plenty of actionable, airtight evidence, but no one is doing anything about it. They are not acting due to fear of the powerful money people. Or they are just lazy and don’t want to tackle such an important case. Or they are incompetent. Many people will pick one or more of those and assume they are true.
2.Investigations are being done to collect sufficient, airtight evidence that will hold up in court to supplement evidence that is already in the hands of the DOJ because such an important case can’t be botched. As I posted above, investigations are ongoing: DOJ official reportedly ordered investigations into Trump target George Soros’ network
So one can believe that they are working on the case, or that they aren’t, or that they are making a show of it and aren’t really doing anything. What they are or are not doing is pure speculation except what is actually reported, and the report(s) I’ve seen is that investigations are being conducted.
People can say, with no legal expertise and no knowledge of the case whatsoever, that they have plenty of evidence and should arrest Soros immediately. I see no value in that.

SD: “The 73-page criminal complaint filed by the DOJ [SEE HERE] highlights some of the evidence against the suspects in the intercepted terror attack in Michigan. Both Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud are residents of Dearborn, Michigan, who the FBI intercepted prior to their carrying out a Halloween terrorist attack against a likely LGBTQ nightclub in the northern suburb of Ferndale.
The complaint outlines an ISIS inspired attack with a foreign collaborator of the two gunman who visited them prior. Intercepted cell phone communication, encrypted apps, as well as an overseas FBI confidential human source recording conversations about the terror plot are all part of the criminal complaint.
The suspects purchased AR-15 rifles, shotguns, pistols, ammunition and Go-Pro cameras as well as tactical gear in what the FBI calls their advanced planning of the attack. The suspects also met at a Michigan gun range to practice shooting in advance. The intercepted communications reflect the intent to target a “nightclub or disco” similar to the Orlando, FL, Pulse Nightclub attack and the Paris, France, Bataclan theater attack.

[VIA FOX] – Two Michigan men have been charged in a foiled ISIS-inspired terror attack that allegedly would have involved a massacre in a Detroit suburb on Halloween, according to an FBI affidavit.
Mohmed Ali, of Dearborn, Michigan, and Majed Mahmoud are accused of plotting to launch a terror-inspired mass shooting codenamed “pumpkin,” according to court documents. They’ve been charged with receiving, transferring and attempting to receive and transfer firearms knowing and having reasonable cause to believe that they would be used to commit terrorism.
Ali practiced shooting at a local gun range multiple times, including with Mahmoud, a juvenile suspect referred to as “Person 1” and under the alias “Athari” — and once with an unnamed “Co-conspirator 4,” according to the complaint.
The charges come after Amir Makled, a lawyer for Ali, who was arrested Friday, claimed to The Associated Press that there was no plot and that he did not expect charges to be filed. Makled did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital Monday.
The men appeared in court on Monday.
William Swor, a defense attorney for Mahmoud, told reporters outside the courthouse he needed more time to review the complaint before commenting. But he said both defendants were 20 years old.
“Well, the complaint is 73 pages long,” he said, in response to multiple questions. “We haven’t had time to digest it or review it.
