So we are unlikely to get some fire-breathing conservative replacement.
And who ever we might get, it’s hard to imagine getting anyone who is more effective (and more on our side) on 2nd Amendment issues.
And the 2nd Amendment is the most important one.

That’s the first I’ve heard of a church directly catering to an autistic-like population & I thought it was pretty neat for this fairly small community, maybe 3,000-5,000 souls here, to display such sensitivity! 😇 😍 😇

Well, the “cure” is working because the “life” of the infective agent fails before the life of the host fails, due to a short term treatment with the agent.
Some things can be cured, but many things cannot be. Infective disease is one thing, where the body “takes over continuous treatment” after the organism dies or is eliminated.
Disorders of various kinds may or may not be curable, and in principle, any actual cures may even REQUIRE genetic tampering – which is why so many have become enthralled with gene therapies.
Cures for a lot of things are only theoretically possible with extreme technology – and IMO there will be massive failure and backfire anyway in most of those cases, due to unintended consequences.
Demanding cures for everything leads down a dangerous path, IMO.

I take curcumin every day for my hemachromatosis (iron overload) and it helps a LOT. I now only need to give blood once or twice a year to keep my iron levels from going completely out of control. I started taking it on the recommendation of a naturopath who has an excellent website on Hemachromatosis (he has it himself). And then when I was dealing with cancer, my cancer group recommended it since a lot of cancers cause various types of inflammation. It’s one of those supplements that I wouldn’t go without.

I’m with you, Aubergine. If there’s a natural remedy for something, I would much rather take it then some synthetic concoction the drug companies have come up with that has all kinds of side effects.

Hey guys, I Finally got an Internet access to work at Dad’s Cottage in Northern Michigan, now that I’m a few hours from departure LOL
Hopefully it will still be working next time I’m back here, potentially for Memorial Day (though I missed that holiday this year with Josiah’s hospitalization & my mom’s death). It’s all in God’s hands, like Everything!
I’d appreciate prayers for travelling mercies. At least driving late at night &/or early in the morning lets me miss most of the annoying traffic, yay!

Thanks Linda. Decent rest when sick, no fun. Not enough rest when grandkids were here but lots of fun & adventures. Medium rest in the last couple of days but sore from various work I’m doing to get the place ready for shutting down over Winter. 💜

Thanks Wolf. It is good to be home but I’m still quite sore AND tired. Thankfully I made the trip without incident even though I barely missed a fox early on the highway & spent half the drive in morning rush hour of various intensities from Bay City to Metro Detroit. The worst was heading E on I-96 as the sun was rising so the Huge fireball nearly blinded me a few times while going 70+ mph–yikes. Hubby has to hit that stretch with some regularity on his job so he knows how bad that can be 🙃
I carry extra large sunglasses (to go over sunglasses) just for such instances!!!
