Joe Biden never won. This is our Real President – 45, 46, 47.

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.
This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).
And yes, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

We will always remember Wheatie,

Pray for Trump,

Yet have fun,

and HOLD ON when things get crazy!

We will follow the RULES of civility that Wheatie left for us:
Wheatie’s Rules:
- No food fights.
- No running with scissors.
- If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
And while we engage in vigorous free speech, we will remember Wheatie’s advice on civility, non-violence, and site unity:
“We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”
“Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”
If this site gets shut down, please remember various ways to get back in touch with the rest of the gang:
- Our backup site, The Q Tree 579486807, https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/
- Our old alternative site, The U Tree, where civility is not a requirement
- Our Gab Group, which is located at https://gab.com/groups/4178
- Our various sister sites, listed in the Blogroll in the sidebar
Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.
We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.
Joe Biden didn’t win.
And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House. Which we did, but whatever. We love this picture!

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:
winglet
noun
- a small wing
Used in a sentence
A winglet is a small wing, often used to augment larger wings on, for example, aircraft.

Explained in a video
MUSIC!
Wings – winglets – whateverlets!
THE STUFF

This is an EXTREMELY interesting LINGUISTIC analysis of the Biblical account of Eve’s creation from Adam. Not only is the whole “rib” thing now a highly questionable translation – the “maleness” of pre-division Adam is in play.
Bottom line – the translation presented here sounds much smarter than the one that critics of the Bible love to cite. I’m still not a “literalist” on Genesis – but I think the metaphorical nature of the Genesis account just got way smarter by this translation and interpretation.
Anesthesia and surgery. Useful stuff. Even in an analogy.
Just sayin’!
And remember…….
Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

ENJOY THE SHOW

I remember hoping for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janice_Rogers_Brown or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Kozinski …….instead, we got Roberts…..
Years ago, I was reading information in the seat pocket of an airplane, and the in-flight magazine was self-congratulating on installing winglets on all their planes.
Turns out, when air flowing over the wing provides lift, it also follows the angle of the wing away from the plane until a little bit of it slips off the end of the wing and doesn’t help hold the airplane up.
Installing winglets helped their fuel economy something like 5%, so they installed them on every plane.
Can’t remember the airline or the exact numbers, but it seemed like a smart thing to do.
I always thought winglets were just trendy until doing this post!
No, they’re dollars and cents approved by the beancounters.
Per Brave AI —
Winglets are vertical wingtip devices on commercial aircraft designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency.
They reduce induced drag caused by wingtip vortices—swirling air patterns formed when high-pressure air beneath the wing flows around the tip to the low-pressure area above.
By minimizing these vortices, winglets enhance lift, reduce fuel consumption, and extend an aircraft’s range.
Modern winglets, such as blended winglets (used on Boeing 737 NG/Max, 757, 767) and sharklets (on Airbus A320neo, A350), are engineered to cut fuel burn by 4% to 6%, depending on the design.
Airlines like Ryanair and United have invested heavily in retrofitting older fleets with advanced winglets like the split scimitar to boost efficiency without purchasing new planes.
While most narrow- and mid-sized jets now feature winglets, larger long-haul aircraft like the Boeing 787 and 777 use raked wingtips instead—longer, swept-back wingtips that offer similar benefits during cruise.
This design choice reflects a trade-off between performance in different flight phases: winglets excel during takeoff, landing, and climb, while raked wingtips are more efficient at high-altitude cruise.
Winglets also improve directional stability, making flights smoother in turbulence.
Though initially developed by NASA’s Richard Whitcomb in the 1970s, their widespread adoption began in the late 1980s with the Boeing 747-400 and has since become standard on new aircraft and retrofitted fleets. Today, winglets are a key tool in reducing aviation’s environmental impact and operating costs.
I probably saw the article on United.
I pretty much read constantly. If I’m in a diner, I’ll re-read the menu; if I’m on a plane, I’ll read the in-flight dreck; if I’m in a hotel room with nothing else, I’ll read the Gideons’.
The Gideon’s should be first. But few of us do it that way.
The winglets are actually aeronautical versions of Vulcan ears. 😂
I watched 8.5 minutes of the “rib” video. The more I watched, the more annoying the guy became, IMO. His punctuating the points he wants to make with little giggles is not effective and is distracting to me. It’s as if he thinks he has to try too hard to convince people.
I kept wanting him to just get on with it. It took about 7 minutes for him to say that the word translated as “rib” is “tselah,” which means “side.” And his argument about how long it takes to recover from a rib injury is ludicrous, IMO. If God could create human beings and the entire universe, he could heal a rib injury, and/or an injury to Adam’s side, instantaneously. (I stopped there.)
I did a tiny bit of research to see what others say, and it appears to be one of those frustrating rabbit holes that people will argue about endlessly.
White House Denies Tucker Carlson CIA Spy-Op
Marc Caputo:
I can’t speak to what Tucker’s source told him or where he got the information (if it happened at all). But I do know some of the consequences of Tucker’s publishing this information.
• It casts the Trump administration in a negative light.
• It brings Tucker some positive publicity. It can be useful to be cast as a victim right after you’ve been outed as having communicated with the foreign country that your country wants to target.
• It keeps attention on Tucker. Attention is what all the bloggers and podcasters crave, some because it’s how they make their living, and others out of a need to stay relevant. And then there are those who intentionally hurt others…
• It feeds the online brain-dead zombies who only seem to be able to post about Israel and those who ally with Israel in any way, for any purpose. It’s “See, Charlie Kirk spoke out against Israel, and look what happened to him. And now our government is attacking Tucker for the same thing.” I hope a lot of those are bots, but I have no way of knowing.
What I’m seeing is Tucker talking out of both sides of his mouth. He claims to support Pres. Trump, but criticizes him, directly and indirectly, at every opportunity. And if an opportunity doesn’t arise, he will make one up, as (IMO) he is doing in this case. He didn’t have to say anything. I don’t think his speaking up would protect his life if he thought he was in danger. It only harms the Trump administration.
Now I expect to be “treated” to a “he said, she said” ongoing debate about how unimpeachable his source is vs. what the Trump administration is saying. Tucker could just say his source was mistaken, but that seems extremely unlikely. So Tucker has manufactured a situation that will keep him in the spotlight while continuing to throw the Trump people under the bus.
Dan Scavino telling an audience how funny Pres. Trump is and how he really wanted to work at McDonald’s. Almost 2 minutes long. 😅
