When someone works for legacy media, we know that whoever is paying their bills are bad guys. But we don’t know exactly how much, or from whom.
With alternative media, nobody has any idea who is paying whom, or how much, and that needs to change, for everyone.
It wouldn’t even be difficult. A law requiring total transparency for anyone delivering news or commentary with a following of some threshold amount, e.g., 250K viewers or more.
Their donors or financial supporters, whether legacy media or youtoob or Twitter, etc., should be listed along with the amounts, on every broadcast or podcast, or the list should be linked to every tweet.
That kind of transparency would allow viewers to make informed conclusions about the information they are receiving.
Naturally, the criminals that be would try to hide their identities if that is allowed, so the law needs to account for that and make the penalty great enough to persuade people not to do it.

I was shocked several years ago when I called in a crime in progress that I was witnessing. The 911 operator said Oh you are near the corner of XXX Rd and YYY Street.
This was on my old flip phone that had no obvious connections to Google et al.
The reason they are called “cell phones” is that each tower creates a cell of coverage. Whenever a phone is between two towers — even if five feet from one and a half mile from the other — the signal strength from each is precisely measured to assign the device to the proper tower’s cell. When a phone is within reach of, say, five towers, the phone’s location in relation to the towers can be known within inches — more accurately than with commercial GPS, and without the involvement of satellites.
All this is a basic function of cell phones and cell phone providers.
It’s not originally owned or developed by Palantir, but I’m sure that T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and the like derive consistent revenue by selling the information to Palantir.

I talked to a friend recently about courage, and he made what I thought was a really profound point worth thinking about in depth: not all courage is the same. For example, there is moral courage and physical courage.
Physical courage is the soldier who braves the hail of bullets to complete his mission or to save his brother-in-arms. It is the fireman who risks his life to run into a burning building to save people who might otherwise die without his help. It is the mother who instinctively shields her child from danger using her own body.
Physical courage is generally the type of courage we reward in modern society because it is so obvious and visceral. It is easy to see and easy to depict. We know physical courage when we see it, and we also know physical cowardice when we see it.
But there is another type of courage that we don’t often recognize and praise, and that is moral courage. Moral courage is hard to depict in a mural or a statue. A monument to men planting a flag at Iwo Jima just seems more dramatic than someone calmly standing up and speaking the truth at a school board meeting, or telling a friend his behavior is ungodly, or internally vowing to no longer silently abide the lies of a culture that tells you boys can become girls or unborn babies aren’t people.
Many of us may simply never have the opportunity to demonstrate physical courage, or cowardice. That’s one reason it’s so important to praise the physically courageous, in the hope that it would condition all of us to not cower in fear if and when we are ever placed into that crucible.
It’s easy to say, “Oh, I definitely would’ve stepped in to protect that girl on the train,” but the reality is most of us have no idea how we would react until we’re forced to make that decision.
In our lives, however, we have the opportunity to practice and display moral courage every single day and in everything we do. Raising your children to do good and hate evil is morally courageous. Publicly objecting to false doctrines spread by wicked messengers is morally courageous. Stopping what you are doing and praying to Christ when you feel hopeless and helpless is morally courageous.
Standing up before a culture that hates God and hates good and revels in evil is morally courageous. Risking your job and livelihood to speak the truth and reject lies is morally courageous.
You do not have to find yourself in the midst of war or a terrorist attack or a natural disaster for the opportunity to demonstrate moral courage. You can demonstrate it in every aspect of your life countless times each day.
And the thing about moral courage is that it becomes easier and more instinctive the more often you do it. At a certain point, you won’t even realize you’re doing it, because the thought of doing something else is simply inconceivable.
This is the type of courage Charlie Kirk demonstrated every day. And while he physically paid the ultimate price, it was his moral courage that defined him. He was bold and unafraid. It was his moral courage that gave him the strength to go out every day and face people who hated him knowing full well he might not live through it.
Charlie’s moral courage was the source of his global impact. It was obvious in everything he did. Charlie boldly preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to a culture that didn’t want to hear it, and in the process his message changed the hearts of millions of people. While the prophet Jonah recoiled at the thought of saving the wicked people of Nineveh—to the point of fleeing on a ship to the farthest ends of the earth—Charlie heard God’s call and said, “Here I am. Send me.”
Charlie is being mourned not because he was a great political debater, but because he was a fearless follower of Christ and a bold witness to His grace and mercy. It was that faith, and the courage that comes from it, that informed everything he did.
So as you continue to grieve over Charlie’s death and mourn his loss, one way you can honor him and cement his legacy is by asking yourself each day, “How can I demonstrate the type of moral courage that Charlie displayed all the way up to the very end?”
You can do this without fear, because you know with certainty that the God who created all things also sent His Son to die for your sins and defeat sin and death for all time, all so you could spend eternity with Him in heaven. And if that doesn’t seem real to you just yet, consider going to Christ in prayer right now and asking Him to give you the same peace and forgiveness and courage that he gave Charlie.

I think people may be missing what’s really going on here. It is highly likely Kimmel’s misinformed and insensitive comments gave Disney/ABC the excuse it was looking for to dump its late night show which, like Colbert, is/was a money losing machine. The whole category is dying and this latest news cycle presented Disney with an opportunity. Like with Colbert, some good media trade journalist (i.e., Lesley Goldberg!) will get the real behind the scenes story and likely discover Disney was planning this for a while buton Monday night was presented with a timely reason to finally get out of a loser. Silver lining for Kimmel is that he may win an Emmy next year 🙂

The things we watch now, we stream through apps with content we like. Counting internet cost, we spend less than $180 a month which includes a couple of apps for the grandkids that we control what is watched.
Spend much more time now reading, walking, working in our gardens, visiting with folks, church activities, local sports, etc. Homeschooling takes a chunk of time and is one of the most personally rewarding things we have ever done. Our bond with #1 is off the charts and steers him away from the stuff we see posted above. He will chart a different path when he gets college age because we have trained him about the dangers and he trusts us to tell him the truth. His parents are in complete agreement with our values, they live it as well.
#2 is being monitored closely as a third grader in school. He needs more social interaction to mature, but is sneakier. 😀 Decision of homeschooling is likely to come for next school year. He is doing very well academically. We have found a program that would be ideal for him if that is the route his parents want to go.
It is work, it is worth it.

Linda posted about her bout with covid and the subsequent low blood pressure. About a month ago, without really having any sense of getting sick, I started to have symptoms of lower blood pressure. Finally I started measuring it about a week ago and it explained quite a bit of what I’ve been dealing with.
Normal for me is something like 95/65 or even 90/60.
The only time it’s ever been measured at 120/80, I was in excruciating pain from cellulitis over a cheekbone. But I was getting measurements as low as 75/55 last week.
I called a doctor I know that tracks trends and cutting edge treatments. He immediately said it’s likely dysautonomia, which can be caused by exposure to spike protein.
Dysautonomia is fancy term for poor vagal tone, which is another way of saying your Vagus Nerve needs support.
This can cause low blood pressure. But there is a long list of other possible symptoms. For me, another big symptom was acid reflux. It felt like I was walking on eggshells in terms of never knowing when I was going to have reactions to things.

I found a couple of cardiologists that teach on how to restore vagal tone. One even claiming to have helped a patient heal their irregular heart rhythm through restoring gut health and vagal tone.

For whatever I had last Spring, the real issue driving symptoms was something like MCAS (mast cell activation). Basic treatment is simple.

When I posted the verses from Proverbs yesterday, somehow I missed Proverbs 29:9-10 that describes the courageous work Charlie Kirk took on – To bring the truth to the young people on College campuses – to counter the godless indoctrination and propaganda so prevalent in schools, academia and the media.
Verse 10 can be interpreted two ways – to mean despite Charlie’s arguments, the bloodthirsty sought his life. Second (and we know from Charlie’s own words this was his primary motive) – That despite the rage, mocking, rejection, of bloodthirsty opponents against him, Charlie was concerned for their well-being, for their souls, was seeking to save them, to bring them to Jesus Christ.

What we know about the shooter:Authorities have not identified the shooter at this time, but more information has been gathered about what led up to the incident.
According to CNN, the shooter is allegedly the ex-boyfriend of a woman who lived in the farmhouse on Haar Road where Wednesday’s incident occurred.
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, the woman reportedly observed the shooter stalking the house in a cornfield close by, and notified authorities.
The woman allegedly reported the incident to the Northern York County Regional Police Department to obtain an arrest warrant and a restraining order.
Officials attempted to serve the shooter with the warrant on Tuesday night but were unable to find him, law enforcement said.
Officers with the NYCRPD returned to the house to do a follow-up visit on Wednesday, which was when the shooter opened fire from a nearby cornfield. Three officers from the NYCRPD were killed.
The shooter then allegedly began moving toward the house where he exchanged gunfire with three York County Sheriff’s. Two of the York County Sheriffs were struck and injured, but one returned fire and killed the shooter, according to officials.
Authorities told CNN that the shooter allegedly wore camouflage, and it is not yet clear to investigators whether the shooter waited in the cornfield for the ex-girlfriend or the arresting officers.

The Dallas-area coffee shop owner has been targeted by a coordinated harassment campaign both online at and his business.
A small-business owner in North Texas is facing severe backlash and danger to his business after voicing concern over the rapid cultural shift that mass Indian immigration has brought to his city. The threats to his livelihood include a recent emailed extortion attempt.
Daniel Keene, who owns Boundaries Coffee — a local coffee shop with two locations in the DFW Metroplex — posted a video on X showing an entire street in his neighborhood blocked off for a block party celebrating an Indian festival. The video shows the street blocked off by cars and people. Keene captioned the video, “I want my kids to grow up in America, not India.”
The post went viral on X, and he has since received hundreds of threatening calls, texts, and emails.
‘You must pay $20,000 or our games will BEGIN.’
The threats have turned into action, as his business has been targeted with hundreds of fraudulent negative reviews as well as calls insulting his employees and family. He is now fighting against a massive wave of insults, slanders, and racial animosity from people claiming to be Indian, both here and abroad.
Keene told Blaze News he was unprepared for the attack: “I was shocked by how rapid, and how intense, and how organized it was.” He has deleted the original video, saying the stress became too much for his family.
The hundreds of negative reviews on Google have been particularly damaging. Many reviews complained about a dirty lobby and bad conditions, even though both locations are drive-thru only.
“Review bombings,” or large numbers of coordinated and often fraudulent negative reviews on platforms like Google Maps or Yelp, can be incredibly damaging to small businesses, which rely on these applications to bring in customers. Keene said he believes these reviews, complaints, and threats seemed to be carried out entirely by Indians — either in the U.S. or in India.
On September 8, things escalated when someone claiming to represent a network of millions of Indian-Americans in the United States sent an email that appears to be an attempt to extort Keene.
The email read, “We will blast your business and profiles to over 6 million Indian Americans in America. If they each write negative reviews it will ruin your business. We have all proof regarding this. You must pay $20,000 or our games will BEGIN. Let me know if your [sic] ready for instructions.”
In addition to this apparent extortion, the coffee shop owner has received threats against himself and his family; profane messages about his wife, who is pregnant with their third child; and slanderous messages calling him a pedophile.
Comments on the shop’s various social media pages include accusations of racism but also comments about Keene burning in hell, his children, and other graphic insults. Other users took to X to attack Keene, insulting and taunting him as the attacks increased.
One influencer on X who goes by the name Sidharth took the occasion to mock Keene, writing, “I don’t really think you can afford a home in that neighborhood,” and promising that “the day of reckoning is not far away.” Blaze News obtained screenshots of the post, which has since been deleted.
In response to a request for comment, Sidharth told Blaze News: “My comment would be to focus on the rapid xenophobia and sweeping generalizations against Indian Americans under the pretext of ‘H-1B.’”
Despite the intensity of the attacks and the harm done to his business, Keene says he stands by his comments about Indian immigration. The post expressed what he says is a growing frustration among Texans about the economic and cultural impact that Indians settling in the area have had.
“I don’t have any racial animosity towards Indians,” Keene said. “I would never use racially charged language about somebody.” His issue is not with Indians as people, he says, but with the immigration policies that have changed the demographics of the city where he was born and raised.
“I just want to live on an American street. … As an American, I feel like that’s my right.”
Keene was born and raised in Southlake and grew up in the DFW Metroplex area. After going to school and spending time in Arkansas, he came back to find the demographics shifting from the massive influx of Indian immigrants, many of them on H-1B or other work visas. He says that his frustration is “the normal experience of an American who is getting pushed out.”
Native Texans have been almost entirely priced out of the neighborhood where he lives, so now it is “almost entirely Indian.” He says the cultural shift has been hard for his family: “They don’t like us; we don’t share anything in common with them.”
Despite his frustration and the threats he has received, Keene says he does not harbor animosity toward Indian people. Rather, he expressed his discontent with the policies that he says have resulted in these demographic and cultural changes. “I oppose the use of the H-1B visa, specifically in the DFW Metroplex.” He believes that these policies have changed the culture of the area and make life harder for the native population.
Keene says he has been frustrated and disheartened by the contrast between his native Texan friends and neighbors and this new influx of wealthy Indian immigrants. “I’m losing my neighbors, the Americans. These guys are getting driven out of the neighborhoods. … Pretty much anyone below 35 is struggling.”
“Every house I’ve ever looked at is Indian-owned,” he continued. “… My home is Indian-owned. My street is Indian.”
In addition to his home, he rents the two properties for his coffee shops, as well as a warehouse. All four properties are Indian-owned.

First, I will say this; Charlie was surrounded by people who picked him up and carried him to an SUV, rode four miles to a hospital half in the vehicle (they couldn’t even close the door; Charlie was too tall), trying to stop him from bleeding and save his life. The wound was gushing blood, even in the videos we have.
This guy says Charlie was killed instantly. The heart doesn’t continue pumping blood if you are dead. The wound leaks, but it does not gush or spurt.
Second, at the hospital, the medical personnel got a pulse. If the brain stem was severed, as this man speculates, that would not be possible, as the heart muscle receives electrical stimulation from the brain to operate. No stimulus, no pulse.
The above information came from the man with the phone standing behind and to Charlie’s right. He was a long time friend. He was in the SUV trying to save his friend. He was in the hospital and was hopeful when they got a heartbeat.

Your quibbling over a what is indeed a speculative detail but your using that to discount the full vid. The sniper is giving his estimation at best, the spine may have only been partially severed, thus the continue flow of blood. Your also discounting the Pastor’s statement that he died instantly. Something that is also speculative, but it’s a soft part of the record as eye witness testimony.
If you want to discount the vid, your going to have to surmount the way the Kirk’s body fell was in the way the sniper said it did. That seems inconvertible given the vid. Second would be the size of the visible wound. Either that’s the entrance wound in which case there should be an exit wound or the bullet was still in him. Very doubtful. Or it’s an exit wound which means there is another entrance wound. Either way LE has given nothing on this which at this point seems strange since they’ve released every other thing about the incident.

I caught something Hubby had & am a couple days behind him in recovery. Currently there’s a low fever, around 100, massive head congestion including pressure in the eustachian tubes, some coughing, intermittent sneezing (Hubby didn’t sneeze), now body & joint aches. Also very “fuzzy” in the head, which happened to him too. None of it is making me miserable enough to use fake Nyquil to sleep. It’s been a few days now & Hubby seemed to think that today would be my worst day. Oh I have really low energy & have a hard time focusing. I randomly drop off to sleep when the exhaustion hits as I can barely keep my eyes open or my mind on track.
Hubby was sick over the weekend but pushed himself to work on Mon. He missed work Tues but went back Weds. He thinks he’s now mostly over the symptoms, thankfully.
