Turn off all content blockers / shields / ad blockers. YouTube doesn’t allow them.
They tried to warn me for about 4 days, saying I needed to turn off all of my ad blockers.
Started giving me a 10 or 15 second delay before every video, saying I needed to shut off ad blockers.
Then it stopped, and everything went back to normal. Guessing my ad-blockers were made aware of the situation, created a work-around, and updated themselves.
Ad-blockers work fine again, no hiccups from yootoob.

In both cases it’s a privacy setting to protect you from YouTube’s privacy violating behaviors.
If you want youtube to play you can adjust settings or you can copy the links into a different browser that allows youtube to do it’s thing. I had this problem last week and somehow it’s now fixed without my doing anything at all.

For anybody here who might use any weapon in self-defense, a reminder. You have to stop when the person retreats, runs, desists, leaves, or otherwise no longer presents an immediate threat, IF you plan for your actions to be protected by self-defense law. Once the perpetrator flees, and shows no clear intention of immediately harming others, one cannot use any kind of force against them and claim self-defense or defense of others.
If the person committed a felony, you MAY be able to perform a citizen’s arrest, using force (but not necessarily deadly force) if the state allows it. This is VERY tricky, and legally risky, but it can be done. E.g., holding a burglar at gunpoint for the police is possible.
It would be unwise here to pursue assault charges, IMO, because they could go both ways. Leftist lawyers will spot this. Lawfare will spot it. The Crump grievance industry will spot this. Be STINGY with your self-defense. Use it only when absolutely needed, but when it’s clearly legal, use it HARD and within your rights.

There is a 1 second gap in the music about halfway through. Whenever someone notices, they go to the Hoffman music forum and ask about it.
Here is one example, and Hoffman’s reply with explanation:

Well yesterday I was listening to the disc and thought, as usual, it was good to my ears. I looked forward to track 10 – “Thick As A Brick”.
Well about 17:21 into the track the music ends abruptly, and there is dead silence for about 1 second, before it picks up again and plays out to the end of the track. I checked the disc in every CD player I have (and I have quite a few) and that “dropout”/”edit” is there on all players. Anyway, I put the disc away and I basically forget about the dropout.
Today I decide to listen to the MOFI “Thick As A Brick” and I make a mental note to see what happens at about the same point in the first part. There is no dropout/edit at that particular point. I then check my EMI remaster of “Thick As A Brick” and check the same point into the first part and there is no dropout/edit. I went back to the DCC and listened to that same part of the song again and there, clear as day, is the dropout/edit. Upon close listen though, even though there is a dropout/edit it doesn’t appear as any music is actually missing – just that a second of silence has been “reproduced” on the DCC version that probably isn’t supposed to be there.
So here is my obvious question:

Just The News: “A motion to reopen the immigration case filed by attorneys for Kilmar Abrego Garcia was denied by an immigration judge Wednesday.

Her husband — also came down with COVID the week before going on the trip. Was still sick when he left on the trip. Came back exhausted. Looks not well. One noticed involuntary movements in his legs while at table. This was his 4th COVID infection since he and his now-wife began dating 3 years ago.
Step-grandson — just got his “annual” flu + COVID shots last week in Maryland, where he’s taking a course based at Univ. Maryland for persons with autism / developmental disabilities in learning how to navigate the “normal neuro person” world.
Son, DIL, and her daughter are going for a long weekend trip to TN to visit a female cousin of DIL. This cousin, formerly healthy and active, had come down with pancreatic cancer after she got “fully vaccinated and boosted.” After a year of heavy chemo, the cancer went into remission. But it’s now back — in her stomach. This time, it sounds like turbo-cancer. Cousin is back on heavy chemo.
This is a “slice of life” example of how things are in the United States now — COVID-19 “vaccinated and boosted” people getting sick, getting cancer, having eyesight issues, having cardiac issues — either as new-onset problems, or as aggravated / re-established problems. These are the things that Yours Truly warned about on this board that would be happening “downstream” in the lives of COVID-19 “vaccinated and boosted” people.
And all Yours Truly could say was, “I hope things work out well.”
For the un-“vaccinated” — IMO, do not let the guard down. Stay with whatever COVID-19 prophylaxis protocol is being used. Came back from visiting her mother/family in Czech Republic feeling terrible.Went to ER yesterday, sent on to cardiac unit at a local hospital. Circumflex artery was 99% blocked. They said a heart attack was eminent. Cleaned it out and put in a stent. BIL says he has been seeing signs of dementia in her for a couple of years.
The bad part was she and BIL asked a year ago if we had been vaccinated, that we looked healthy and good for our ages (which is significantly more than them). So they both were realizing they messed up. BIL looks awful and is going down fast physically. We told them no and what we did instead, which is what we all talk about on here. Despite that they changed nothing about their lives.
There is just not anything you can do but pray for the sheeple loved ones, live the right way, and respond with truth when asked.

The “right of return” of Palestinian refugees, predictably, is modeled after the Israeli Right of Return extended to Jews everywhere by the Knesset in 1950.

Palestine, variously known in history as Canaan, Judaea, Eretz Yisrael, Filastin, and Syria Palaestina, has long been a malleable geographical entity. Renamed by its successive Canaanite, Israelite, Roman, Christian, Mamluk, Muslim, Ottoman, and British conquerors, it became the revered “Holy Land” to 19th-century Western visitors.
World War I transformed geographical nomenclature. On November 2, 1917, British Foreign Secretary Lord James Balfour issued his famous declaration proclaiming his government’s approval for “the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.” But where was “Palestine”?
After violent Arab riots during 1920-21, the British government attempted to mollify infuriated opponents of a “Jewish Palestine.” Winston Churchill, British secretary of state for the colonies, offered reassurance that the Balfour Declaration did not contemplate “that Palestine as a whole should be converted into a Jewish National Home, but that such a home should be founded in Palestine.”
If not “Palestine as a whole,” then where? The League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, approved in July 1924, provided contradictory answers. Article 6 assured “close settlement by Jews on the land” defined as Palestine. But Article 25 retracted that assurance. In convoluted language, it declared: “In the territories lying between the Jordan [River] and the eastern boundary of Palestine as ultimately determined, the Mandatory shall be entitled, with the consent of the Council of the League of Nations, to postpone or withhold application of such provisions of the Mandate as he may consider inapplicable to the existing local conditions.”
In translation: “Palestine” was redefined to mean only the land west of the Jordan River, approximately one-quarter of “Palestine as a whole.” The remaining three-quarters were bestowed upon the Hashemite Sheikh Abdullah, son of the Emir of Mecca, for his role in the wartime Arab revolt against Ottoman rule. His kingdom would become known as Trans-Jordan.
But there was also good news for the Zionist cause. Between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean, Jews enjoyed the internationally guaranteed right of “close settlement” — without geographical distinction between the coastal plain stretching from Gaza to Haifa, the mountain ridge of Judea and Samaria, or the Jordan Valley west of the River. No limits were imposed on the right of Jews to settle in their modern cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa, or their ancient cities of Hebron and Jerusalem — or even the Gaza area, where Jews had lived for centuries.
Although the League of Nations expired in 1945, its successor, the United Nations, incorporated in its Charter protection for Jewish settlement rights. Article 80, drafted by Jewish representatives and known as the “Palestine clause,” explicitly protected the rights of “any peoples” under “the terms of existing international instruments to which members of the United Nations may respectively be parties.” It thereby reaffirmed the right of “close settlement” by Jews throughout the land west of the Jordan River. That right has never been abrogated.
For a time, even prominent local Arabs affirmed “Palestine” as Zionist territory. Testifying before the British Peel Commission in 1937, a Syrian leader asserted: “There is no such country as Palestine. … Our country was for centuries part of Syria.” Palestinian Arabs continued to identify with Greater Syria and “the larger Arab people.” Shortly before the birth of the State of Israel, Arab historian Philip Hitti conceded: “There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not.” A PLO military commander subsequently acknowledged: “There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinian, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation.”
Without a history to call their own, Palestinians have relentlessly plundered Jewish history to compensate for their missing past. So it is that their biblical “forebears” became the Canaanites; the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, site of the ancient Jewish Temples, is their “third”-holiest site, after Mecca and Medina; Me’arat haMachpelah, built over the burial places of the Jewish patriarchs and matriarchs in Hebron, is a mosque; and their Gaza flotillas are modeled on the famous Jewish refugee ship Exodus.
Where, exactly, might another Palestinian state arise? “Another,” because Jordan, constituting two-thirds of Mandatory Palestine, with a Palestinian majority population, already is a de facto Palestinian state. By any test of history or demography, Jordan is Palestine. Gaza is a Palestinian Hamas fiefdom sworn to Israel’s destruction. That makes two Palestinian states. Should any part of the West Bank ever become a Palestinian state, it will make three. That may be at least one too many.

The discourse of peace surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conundrum remains as divorced from morality and reality as could ever be imagined in this lopsided political universe. The laws of sociology and the lessons of history make the two-state solution a non-starter. Sorry, the argument made is again about an autonomous state called Palestinian . That is not the argument of the Palestinians. There argument is they are a people that have lived in that region pre Abraham and through out the history of the Levant. Your maps even show them. In other words they are the Canaanites, the Moabites, the Edomites etc…. It matters a wit not that they never achieved the status of being a recognized state. What matters is they have always been there and they have DNA tests to prove their ancient status where as the Jewish population hovers closer to 50% ancient DNA. Palestinians have a higher rate of 80% going back to ancient Canaan times before Abraham and Moses.
Just as a note since I saw the Talmud mentioned somewhere else. There are two. The Babylonian Talmud and the Palestinian Talmud also known as the Jerusalem Talmud though it was not written in Jerusalem, but in Galilee, then considered part of Palestine.

As you can see from the passages above [VC note: all of the other English translations of that verse were copied on my blog post] the word is usually Philistia (or Philistines), rarely “Palestine” & once Peleshet….so this would tend to point to the word “Palestine” being another word for Philistine or Philistia…
I don’t know why the above English translations used “Palestine” unlike the vast majority of other translations, but it was clearly Not the Norm for the bulk of English Bible translations.
Aubergine has addressed the DNA argument a number of times so I won’t go there.
The Philistines are still at war with the Israelites, just like they were when David slew Goliath!
Your map states “King David” but doesn’t even acknowledge the nation of which he was king, which is surely historically inaccurate.

The first known reference we have to Palestine as “a district of Syria, called ‘Palaistin,’” comes from the mid-5th-century. The earliest record of the Israelis is from 1200 BCE.

One of the sources I quoted above claimed that Palestine or similar & Israeli or Judean or similar were used interchangeably in ancient, BC, times. They also said that the “Syrian Palestinians” were circumscribed & (at least) culturally Hebrew/Israeli/Jewish tellingly.

This perspective on history is also why I use “so-called” before Palestine/Palestinians. No one claimed he had contact with CAI. That is not how it works.
Example. I fly into Korea and am taking an in-country leave before reporting to duty. My Military records are taken when arrive at the Airport and then I go on leave. In the meantime those records are forwarded to Eighth Army Personnel Section and are screened for likely assignment since I’m arriving with out a direct assignment or a direct assignment that can be voided by a higher authority which happened to me twice at which time when I come off of leave and start to inprocess, I ended up being interviewed by Eighth Armies NCO Academy. The second time it happened I told the Chief Instructor I’d done that and don’t want to do it again. I get told Academy SGM wants me and I’m doing it again.
Same thing at a University. They know who is coming and what aptitudes’ they have and you go through a preselection phase with out ever being consult, meaning they are eyeing you for a job. Or in Tyler’s situation he may have reached out to be considered in the program. The first would certainly not be reportable and second may not either.

I turned my daily show over to Charlie Kirk. I’ve known him since he was 19. He was a guest many times on my television shows. My last daily show was his first as we made the hand off. He told me that he was “jealous of me becoming Ambassador to Israel” because it was the one thing he would love to do because he loved Israel. I haven’t mentioned this publicly as the comments were off air while we were chatting during a break and I didn’t want someone to allege that I made up the story. This week, I received a message from one of his team who was in the studio and an eyewitness to the conversation. Having a witness to verify my remembrance gave me comfort in telling what happened. I’m so disappointed in people with a media platform who have disparaged Charlie’s name and his views by alleging that Charlie had become anti-Israel. This story in @nypost reveals full text of a 7 page letter Charlie sent to @IsraeliPM which defies the self-serving “influencers” trying to twist the truth. Anyone paying attention understands that Charlie had not turned against Israel. That said anyone should understand that Charlie was no longer comfortable with the Israeli Government and that he was questioning both the War in Gaza and the enormous influence Israel has over our Congress and the media and for him to question any of it according to him in his own words he would come under tremendous pressure, much of that from the pro Israel forces here in the US. The fact that the letter comes out three weeks after Charlie’s death while Bibi is under mounting pressure as well as the letter being written 4 months before his death at time when he himself was voicing more concern will remain the issue. All of this is demonstrated not by Owens who points it out, but by Charlie himself in his numerous vids (10 to 12).

When police tried to stop the Camaro, Clark took off and crashed into the vehicle with Diplomatic Security Service agents inside, police say. The service is the law enforcement arm of the State Department.
Officers and federal agents stopped the car and found two Glocks, including one with a switch, and multiple types of ammunition.
All three men were arrested and taken to the Sixth District cellblock for processing, the report says. Police seized the Camaro as evidence.
Glock switches, sometimes called “giggle switches” in D.C., are coin-sized accessories typically added to Glock-style handguns, News4 reported in an investigation into their impact and attempts to change D.C. law. The switches turn a semiautomatic handgun into a machine gun. Without them, a single bullet is fired with every trigger pull as the gun was designed. With the addition of the switch, the gun fires bullets until the magazine is empty.
