2022·07·16 Joe Biden Didn’t Win Daily Thread

SPECIAL SECTION: Message For Our “Friends” In The Middle Kingdom

I normally save this for near the end, but…basically…up your shit-kicking barbarian asses. Yes, barbarian! It took a bunch of sailors in Western Asia to invent a real alphabet instead of badly drawn cartoons to write with. So much for your “civilization.”

Yeah, the WORLD noticed you had to borrow the Latin alphabet to make Pinyin. Like with every other idea you had to steal from us “Foreign Devils” since you rammed your heads up your asses five centuries ago, you sure managed to bastardize it badly in the process.

Have you stopped eating bats yet? Are you shit-kickers still sleeping with farm animals?

Or maybe even just had the slightest inkling of treating lives as something you don’t just casually dispose of?

中国是个混蛋 !!!

And here’s my response to barbarian “asshoes” like you:

OK, with that rant out of my system…

Biden Gives Us Too Much Credit

…we can move on to the next one.

Apparently Biden (or his puppeteer) has decided we’re to blame for all of the fail in the United States today.

Sorry to disappoint you Joe (or whoever), but you managed to do that all on your own; not only that, you wouldn’t let us NOT give you the chance because you insisted on cheating your way into power.

Yep, you-all are incompetent, and so proud of it you expect our applause for your sincerity. Fuck that!!

It wouldn’t be so bad, but you insist that everyone else have to share in your misery. Nope, can’t have anyone get out from under it. Somehow your grand vision only works if every single other person on earth is forced to go along. So much as ONE PERSON not going along is enough to make it all fail, apparently.

In engineering school we’re taught that a design that has seven to eight billion single points of failure…sucks.

Actually, we weren’t taught that. Because it would never have occurred to the professors to use such a ridiculous example.

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Kamala Harris has a new nickname since she finally went west from DC to El Paso Texas: Westward Hoe.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

Spot Prices

All prices are Kitco Ask, 3PM MT Friday (at that time the markets close for the weekend).

Two weeks ago:

Gold $1,813.90
Silver $20.00
Platinum $901.00
Palladium $2,032.00
Rhodium $14,550.00

Last Week:

Gold $1,743.60
Silver $19.40
Platinum $901.00
Palladium $2,263.00
Rhodium $14,850.00

So here it is, Friday, 3PM MT after markets closed and we see:

Gold $1,709.60
Silver $18.83
Platinum $861.00
Palladium $1,901.00
Rhodium $15,300.00

There’s no question–the traditional precious metals (gold and silver) are getting hammered. The PGMs aren’t getting hit as badly; in fact rhodium is up!

JWST Update
(Last One for a While?)

The James Webb Space Telescope has been commissioned. It has returned its first operational pictures. I posted them on Tuesday.

The science mission now begins. This will run, hopefully, for years. They plan on getting ten years out of the telescope. But NASA either fails spectacularly coming out of the gate, or ends up running missions for far longer than expected (the Voyager probes are closing in on fifty years). Since the first didn’t happen…well, we can look forward to all sorts of interesting stuff!

What do we expect? Well, we hope to look further back in time, to the formation of the very first stars–those are expected to be different from anything around today because they formed from almost pure hydrogen and helium; no recycled “burned” fusion products as every star today is made from. The idea is these will probably have been gigantic stars and maybe we’ll learn something about those supermassive black holes at the centers of galaxies.

I’m going to go way out in front of my skis here and ask if perhaps those supermassive black holes are remnants of first stars, and the galaxies formed around them rather than them forming after the galaxies did. (Hopefully my faceplant will be entertaining. Any real astrophysicist reading this is probably rolling on the floor laughing at some elementary idiocy in what I just said.)

Another thing JWST hopes to do is look at exoplanets. We know of hundreds of them indirectly; now we finally have a tool that might be able to see something directly.

Of course, it stands ready to investigate the next unscheduled “kaboom.” If there’s a supernova nearby you can bet JWST will be on it. SN 1987A (which wasn’t exactly nearby but you could see it with the naked eye so it wasn’t that far away either) happened before Hubble. Generally about 10 or 20 percent of the time on the telescope is not allocated ahead of time just in case something crops up. With Hubble the scientist who administered it got to assign that time to whatever he wanted (with the understanding that if something big happens unexpectedly, he’ll drop what he’s doing and use his time on that). Of course the truly unexpected is…well, unexpected, so we can’t know what will come of it.

But the larger point is, we actually do not know what JWST will discover; we have a list of what it will investigate. If we did know what it would discover, we wouldn’t need it! We have questions we can use JWST on, but no answers. When we have answers…they will lead to questions we couldn’t even think to ask today. That’s real science. (Quite unlike the crap that goes on in medical research.)

Meanwhile, I am going to have to find something else to write about, at least until some results come in. A scientist granted time on JWST generally has some set period of time where s/he has exclusive access to the data, so they can write their paper and publish. Then it’s opened up to everyone.

So I don’t expect to see news reports about what “JWST has found” for at least a little while.

You Read It Here First

Slate (okay, I’ll pause while you vomit…OK, better now?) has an article about false-color images from JWST:

Joe Biden is Asshoe

China is in the White House, because Joe Biden is in the White House, and Joe Biden is identically equal to China. China is Asshoe. Therefore, Joe Biden is Asshoe.

FBI intends to coerce Missouri sheriff to violate state laws regarding CCW records statute.

July 13, 2022

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Today, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray demanding that they cease their attempts to illegally obtain information from local sheriffs on Missourians who have concealed carry permits. Missouri law specifically prohibits the sharing of information on concealed carry permit holders to any entity – local, state, federal, or otherwise.

“The FBI has absolutely no business poking around in the private information of those who have obtained a concealed carry permit in Missouri,” said Attorney General Schmitt. “The Second Amendment rights of Missourians will absolutely not be infringed on my watch. I will use the full power of my Office to stop the FBI, which has become relentlessly politicized and has virtually no credibility, from illegally prying around in the personal information of Missouri gun owners.”

And, of course, it comes with a strongly worded letter.

A group of Republican lawmakers is demanding the Committee on Oversight and Reform investigate the “extremely troubling” election fraud allegations made in the documentary “2000 Mules.”

“The film documents activities that raise serious questions about potential widespread coordinated efforts to illegally harvest and cast votes,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) states in a letter sent to Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) on Wednesday, which was provided exclusively to Townhall.

Reps. Andrew Clyde (R-GA), Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Mary Miller (R-IL), Debbie Lesko (R-AZ), Randy Weber (R-TX), Pete Sessions (R-TX), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC), Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-TN), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) co-signed the letter.

American Thinker headlines:

Nearly in the Grip of a Cult

Decades of unprecedented prosperity have made westerners indolent, bored, and self-absorbed.  Detachment from Judeo-Christian faith has made elites vulnerable to fanatics and charlatans peddling gimcrackery.  These peddlers no longer hawk their nonsense in the name of God, as was done throughout much of history.  Today, they claim to do so as enlightened people of science.

Where the Rednecks Roam

One of the recurring “insults” leftist trolls throw my direction is to call me a “redneck.”  And I think, so you’re accusing me of working hard in the hot sun, thanking God for all I have, believing that men should be masculine, knowing that strong women can still be feminine, not cowering in a corner when a firearm’s near, and being more than willing to defend my rights and liberties as a free American?  Why, thank you…I guess?  (By the way, I think the same yahoos used to call America-loving, cowboy hat–bedecked Lloyd Marcus a “redneck,” too, and I’m pretty sure he took it as a compliment.)

I mean, really, who has a more resilient, exciting culture — the one endorsed by Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney and Biden’s other useful eunuchs who populate RINOland or the one guarded by real, salt-of-the-earth folks who know there’s more to life than being liked by the New York Times?  Should the United States of America continue to divide and separate along cultural lines, get as far away from the blue megacities of death and dreariness as you can.  And if you should find yourself lost on your way out of the deserts of neoliberal nothingness, just ask directions from a stranger.  Out here, where people still look each other in the eye and judge friend from foe faster than a barefoot jackrabbit on a hot, greasy griddle, courtesy is the norm.  Common sense, self-reliance, thankfulness, and respect for others are valued ways of life.  People make and build things with personal knowhow, and then many of those same people blow those things up with M-80 firecrackers while listening to country and bluegrass music under wide open skies and bright, clear moons.  Sometimes those things get done on Independence Day; sometimes it’s just a regular Taco Tuesday.  You never know.  So seriously: Who wouldn’t want to live where the rednecks roam?

Snack and Die Early

Recently, I sat in my airplane seat before takeoff and watched a parade of the obese squeeze down the aisle. Many seemed barely able to shuffle through the narrow space; how they would maneuver their bodies into the 18”-wide seats that awaited them was another mystery.

The Party of Violence

Democrats and their spinoff-isms promote and glamorize abortion, the killing of human beings. Barack Obama notoriously stated that he didn’t want to see women being “punished with a baby.” Elizabeth Warren said that women who go to crisis pregnancy centers are met by people who “want to do them harm.” Liberals clearly believe that giving birth is not desirable but killing babies is.

They are big on defunding the police which increases the crime rate because criminals roam free to commit more crimes. This isn’t rocket science.

Midterms 2022: Republicans, don’t get cocky

The expression for which he is famous — “If anything can possibly go wrong, it will go wrong” — was around long before Colonel Edward A. Murphy gained fame by stating that dictum after the sensors on a U.S. Air Force test crash vehicle he was monitoring failed to provide useful data.  Murphy’s Law has remained a cautionary tale for all forms of human endeavor.  It is only barely less certain than the law of gravity.  While it is a given that what goes up must come down, it is only slightly less true that things will inevitably go wrong and muddy up what was seen as a sure outcome for any plan.  The “law” applies to politics as well.

Republicans have anxiously awaited the 2022 midterm elections, believing that recapturing the House of Representatives and achieving a sufficient majority in the Senate to make it a filibuster-proof body is a certainty and will lead inevitably to a Republican president in 2024.  They had best not discount the colonel.

‘Christian Nationalism’ is woven deep into America’s fabric

It is important to understand immediately that the reference to Christianity in the stated principle that “Christianity is part of the common law” is not to Christian theology—that is, not to the “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost” doctrine underlying Christian worship. It is, instead, a reference to Christian morality; that is, to Judeo-Christian morality, which is to say to Biblical morality. The reference is to the Decalogue and certain stand-alone moral rifle shots such as the prime directives “Be holy!” and “Choose life!” It is not a reference to baptism, penance, the Eucharist, etc.

Because the United States and each of the fifty states is a common law jurisdiction and Christianity is part of the common law, it would seem to follow that those 51 jurisdictions are collectively a Christian nation. The United States Supreme Court affirmative precisely this principle in the 1892 United States Supreme Court decision of Church of the Holy Trinity v. US in which the court’s opinion by Justice David Brewer declared “This is a Christian Nation.”

And now for the business portion of the post borrowed from Tuesday:

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey. A third site has been added for site outages of longer duration.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller the late Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And Auntie DePat’s requests:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

MATTHEW 5:13-19

13“You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men. 14“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. 15Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. 17“Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them. 18For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished. 19Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-13

6Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. 7But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification. 8None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him,” 10God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11For what person knows a man’s thoughts except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. 13And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.

SATIRE!

As of this writing, there is nothing new from the usual sources, so we’re going vintage.

Dear KMAG: 20220711 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And indeed, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

…and we will have fun doing it, too!

The Rules

TL;DR –

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Boilerplate, more or less, but worth reading again and again, if only for the minor changes, and to stay out of moderation.

The bottom line is Free Speech. Theories and ideas you don’t agree with must be WELCOME here, and you must be part of that welcoming. But you do NOT need to be part of any agreement.

Bottom line – respect other people’s FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.

Our only additional requirement is that you do so NICELY. Or at least try to make some effort in that direction.

SO….. [ENGAGE BOILERPLATE…..]

We must endeavor to persevere to love our frenemies – even here.

Those who cannot deal with this easy requirement will be forced to jump the hoops of moderation, so that specific comments impugning other posters and violating the minimal rules can be sorted out and tossed in the trash.

In Wheatie’s words, “We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

That includes the life skill of just ignoring certain other posters.

We do have a site – The U Tree – where civility is not a requirement. Interestingly, people don’t really go there much. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in an “argument” that can’t really stay civil, please feel free to “take it to the U Tree”. The U Tree is also a good place to report any technical difficulties, if you’re unable to report them here. Please post your comment there on one of Wolf’s posts, or in reply to one of Wolf’s comments, to make sure he sees it (though it may take a few hours).

We also have a backup site, called The Q Tree as well, which is really The Q Tree 579486807. You might call it “Second Tree”. The URL for that site is https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/. If this site (theqtree.com) ever goes down, please reassemble at the Second Tree.

If the Second Tree goes down, please go to The U Tree, or to our Gab Group, which is located at https://gab.com/groups/4178.

We also have some “old rules” and important guidelines, outlined here, in a very early post, on our first New Year’s Day, in 2019. The main point is not to make violent threats against people, which then have to be taken seriously by law enforcement, and which can be used as a PRETEXT by enemies of this site.

In the words of Wheatie, “Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

A Moment of Prayer

Our policy on extreme religious freedom on this site is discussed HERE. Please feel free to pray and praise God anytime and anywhere.

Thus, please pray for our real President, the one who actually won the election.

You may also pray for our nation, our world, and even our enemies.

Call To Battle

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Day Year Week:

virulence

noun

a pathogen’s or microorganism’s ability to cause damage to a host.

the ability to overcome a host’s defenses and cause disease or damage.

the state of being pathogenic.

relative severity or malignancy.

extreme bitterness or malevolence; rancor.

Used in a sentence:

The virulence of the spike protein itself was only exceeded by that of the people who knowingly approved it for children, in full knowledge that doing so would shorten their lives, sterilize many of them, and drain their immunity further with every injection.

From BioClandestine:

New Russian MIL Report on US Biolabs in Ukraine 07/07/2022

Russia’s Special Military Operation has found documentation pertaining to a third party evaluation of the US biological network, specifically the Defensive Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Ukraine, pertaining to the facilities from 2005-2016 (Remember these dates). The document contains the data on evaluation of healthcare, veterinary and biosecurity system efficiency prepared by a group of U.S. experts in 2016.

The experts confirm that despite 10 years of activity in Ukraine, “there is no legislation on the control of highly dangerous pathogens in the country, there are significant deficiencies in biosafety… The current state of resources makes it impossible for laboratories to respond effectively to public health emergencies”.

Some good news:

Covid shots for little kids are DOA

But at this point many parents have seen and experienced the side effects of the vaccines for themselves. They also know firsthand that the shots do little if anything to stop Omicron infections (though they may not be aware how terrible the data truly are). And they know that Covid is a minuscule risk for children who are not already seriously ill, and that most kids have already been exposed.

(All the Sesame Street ads in the world can’t change reality. Congrats, Elmo. You’re in the 1 percent. Cute Band-Aid, though.)

Guys… I feel bad for you all, I really do.

How Joe Biden Is Using the Controversial Title IX Program to Destroy Innocent Men on College Campuses

The policy in question is Obama’s Title IX rules governing how schools handle sexual misconduct on campus. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits sex discrimination at any school receiving federal funding. Like all civil rights law, the scope of Title IX expanded dramatically, and in 2011 President Obama took it to it to new, ridiculous heights. The administration required colleges to adopt a “preponderance of the evidence” standard for judging sexual assault allegations, where if an accused person is deemed even 50.01% likely to be guilty, they must be held responsible. Schools were also encouraged to erect star chambers with single investigators, where accused students were denied any right to cross-examine an accuser or even see all the evidence against them.  If they resisted, colleges were threatened with the loss of federal money—including access to student loans. For the vast majority of colleges, such a loss would effectively be a death sentence.

In one of his most underrated moves to Make America Great Again, President Trump quickly repealed Obama’s policy. That should have sent it permanently to the ash bin of history.

But alas, no. Not only is the policy back, but activists have concocted a version that is far more wicked than its predecessor.

Reading room pieces just from American Thinker today. The others….

Follow the COVID Money

As Deep Throat whispered to Bob Woodward during the Watergate scandal (“Follow the money”), so, too, the American public should be demanding the same of its political leaders: Follow the COVID money to determine why we continue to spend a fortune on something that seems to have only a relatively limited benefit.

But our elected officials are embarrassingly quiet on answering the basic question of who exactly is benefiting from the constant rounds of shots being foisted on or recommended to the American public?

Maybe the silence comes from the fact that the pharmaceutical industry spends more on lobbying than any other industry group. In 2020 big pharma spent over $300 million lobbying officeholders and government officials. It clearly pays off. The research to develop the COVID-19 vaccines was nearly all funded by taxpayers. The distribution of the vaccines, once developed, was further funded nearly entirely by taxpayers. The record-keeping and reporting on the vaccines is also at the expense of taxpayers, and the new repurposed Pfizer drug Paxlovid, used to treat COVID, has been paid for by taxpayers.

If the vaccinations are proving to be ineffective in stopping the march of the disease, are they really worth what the federal government is paying the pharmaceutical industry to manufacture, distribute, and administer them? Democrats’ Anti-Democratic Delusions Require Population Control

GOP freakouts and the Ten-Day Rule

Richard Baris said it succinctly: “Last month, it was ‘Ukraine.’  Week before Roe, it was ‘Gun Safety.’  We call them ‘News Cycle DEMs.'”  This is of course perfectly true, but the corollary is that, unfortunately, many Republicans react to these Dem media and Twitter onslaughts in total Chicken Little mode.

A seemingly major event takes place, often artificially magnified in its supposed political importance by the Twitter Dembot mob and the usual media suspects, followed by an equal-in-volume GOP chorus of “the midterms have slipped away from us,” “we are doomed,” and endless variations of these morose themes flood Republican timelines and articles.

Recall former British prime minister Harold Wilson’s eternal political dictum: “a week in politics is a long time.”  I’ll add my less well known dictum: “always remember the ‘Rule of Ten.'”

Regarding Wilson’s statement, a few moments of consideration will show that what seemed momentous in the fast-changing media cycle was totally removed from the voter’s consciousness, if it ever penetrated it in the first place, within a matter of days as the Baris cycle pedaled on.

But using the Rule of Ten, Republicans can divest themselves of this unfortunate habit and direct their energies to more profitable use.

Don’t hold your breath.

Why is that man still walking the earth?

And from the Babylon Bee:

First 12 Things Trump Will Do When He Inevitably Returns To Power

  1. Spray Febreze on the Oval Office curtains to get the old man smell out: Step one to draining the swamp is giving it a flowery scent.
  2. Make Pelosi wear a sweater on the beach: I mean, really.
  3. Welcome back Mike Pence, just to tell him he’s fired: It’ll be the highest ratings for a single episode of The Apprentice. Maybe ever.
  4. Invade Afghanistan so he can show how much better he would be at withdrawing from Afghanistan: He’s been dreaming about this one every night when he goes to sleep.
  5. Finish building that wall, but make Hunter Biden pay for it: Hunter will borrow from Joe, who will borrow from China. 4D chess!
  6. Make everything at the dollar store $1 again: And abolish the fed.
  7. Sneak out of the Oval Office for a quick 9 holes: Trump needs to keep his golf skills sharp so he can challenge Putin to a match for the fate of Russia.
  8. Bring back the McRib: And make it permanent this time!
  9. Find Osama Bin Laden’s body and kill him again: USA! USA! USA!
  10. Declare total infinity immunity with no take-backs: Should put an end to congressional witch hunts.
  11. Put Dr. Fauci in the stocks in the National Mall so everyone can throw cabbage at him: Somewhere up there Samuel Adams is drunkenly smiling.
  12. Buy Greenland and make Mexico pay for it: And then drill for oil like there’s no tomorrow.

There’s not enough Febreeze in the world for that.

HOSEA 14:2-10

2Take with you words and return to the LORD; say to him, “Take away all iniquity; accept that which is good and we will render the fruit of our lips. 3Assyria shall not save us, we will not ride upon horses; and we will say no more, `Our God,’ to the work of our hands. In thee the orphan finds mercy.” 4I will heal their faithlessness; I will love them freely, for my anger has turned from them. 5I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, he shall strike root as the poplar; 6his shoots shall spread out; his beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon. 7They shall return and dwell beneath my shadow, they shall flourish as a garden; they shall blossom as the vine, their fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon. 8O E’phraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress, from me comes your fruit. 9Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.

MATTHEW 10:16-23

16“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. 17Beware of men; for they will deliver you up to councils, and flog you in their synagogues, 18and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear testimony before them and the Gentiles. 19When they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour; 20for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. 21Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death; 22and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. 23When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel, before the Son of man comes.

Dear KMAG: 20220704 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic / Independence Day Message

Because it’s INDEPENDENCE DAY (OFFICIAL)

We are not ruled by a king. Not legally. Not rightfully. We are ruled by LAWS. Laws brought forth by THIS DOCUMENT.

That document, defended by PATRIOTS.

Those patriots, aided by GOD ALMIGHTY.

And REMEMBERED on ground now occupied by THE MAFIA.

But trust us, Queen of Satan’s Bastille, WE THE PEOPLE will take it back from you.

And none of your Godfather III devil’s tricks…..

…..will save you from THE TRUTH OF WHAT YOU DID.

The Rules

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

Mendacity rules the land.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

DEAR MAGA: TGIF Open Thread 20220701

Before digging into the meat of this post, we take time to pay our respects to the man who went up against the medical industrial complex and led the resistance to the COVID narrative.

Dr. Vladimir ‘Zev’ Zelenko passes away

Statement by Zelenko Labs on the Passing of our Founder Dr. Vladimir “Zev” Zelenko

It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of our founder Dr. Vladimir “Zev” Zelenko. Dr. Zelenko was a physician, scientist, and activist for medical rights who touched the lives of millions of people. Some were saved as his role as a doctor, and even more were inspired by his words. His “Zelenko Protocol” saved millions and earned him a Nobel Prize nomination and the admiration of a U.S. President among other prominent world leaders.

May he rest in peace. He did good during his time on Earth.

Okay, here we go. Diving in.

  • Stir well
  • Strain into a cocktail glass for this cocktail.
  • We recommend using a cocktail glass for this cocktail.

Starting with the good news:

Sanity Prevails, Supreme Court Strikes Down EPA Cap and Trade Scheme for Power Plants

The Environmental Protect Agency (EPA) was attempting to restrict the energy production from coal-based power plants through a regulatory cap-and-trade scheme intended to limit the emissions from electricity plants. However, by a 6-3 vote the Supreme Court said today the Clean Air Act does not give the EPA broad authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. [pdf Ruling Here] The regulation -if any- must come from congress, not regulatory fiat from an executive agency.

Yes, it was a narrow ruling that could have had far more scope when it comes to reigning in regulatory agencies. It is still a victory.

Another take:

The incrementation of this issue is now a thing of the past.

The not so good news from SCOTUS:

Biden v. Texas: Remain in Mexico May End,
But Main Issue Is Unresolved

Washington, D.C. (June 30, 2022) – The Supreme Court’s decision in the Remain in Mexico case leaves the main question unresolved.

The Court finds that the Biden administration may end the program (formerly known as the Migrant Protection Protocols, or MPP) and the lower court’s injunction against it is invalid. The case now goes back to the circuit court to decide whether the program was terminated properly.

More important: The lower court also has to decide whether federal law’s detention mandate for illegal border-crossers is really a mandate and whether DHS is violating the law by releasing most illegal aliens instead of detaining them.

In other words, the plaintiffs’ argument is that the law requires either detention or Remain in Mexico for border-jumpers, with the limited exception of parole in extraordinary cases. The Biden administration has made that exception the rule and is releasing almost all illegal border-crossers (who aren’t expelled under Title 42, which it is also trying to end), and that is the central issue, still to be decided.

Also of interest when it comes to the Supreme Court:

Supreme Court won’t hear challenge to New York vaccine mandate for health care workers

Supreme Court to hear case on GOP ‘independent legislature’ theory that could radically reshape elections

AOC may want to get rid of SCOTUS, but they are already cutting out their work for themselves.

Other headlines:

FBI’s response to attacks on pregnancy clinics draws scrutiny

U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, sent a letter to FBI Director Chris Wray this week calling for a briefing on the issue and urging Wray to ensure these “violent attacks are recognized by the FBI and are being properly investigated for what they are – cases of abortion-related violent extremism.

“There have been at least 40 violent attacks on crisis pregnancy centers, religious institutions, and other pro-life entities since the Dobbs leak and before the Court even issued its final opinion,” Grassley wrote. “This violence continues to cause injury, damage to property, and interruption of constitutionally protected worship services all across the nation. In fact, it substantially accelerated last weekend, after the opinion was issued.

“Current threats from abortion extremists are impending, serious, and dangerous,” he added.

Pro-life groups say they fear the attacks will escalate into worse violence. They argued the media has given little attention to the attacks, which took off after the controversial leak of an early draft of the Supreme Court opinion that overturned Roe v. Wade weeks before the official decision was released.

TRUE TRAGEDY ALERT!

Fourth of July Fireworks May Not Happen on July Fourth

Across America, Fourth of July fireworks won’t fly on the Fourth of July.

Some cities and towns are rescheduling their Independence Day fireworks shows because of a shortage of fireworks or workers.

The city of Ottawa, Kan., couldn’t get fireworks in time for July Fourth. So it is shooting them into the sky on the fourth of another month: September.

The two-month delay is because the fireworks ordered in February are still stuck on a ship from China, held up by supply-chain issues that have also caused shortages of pet foodfurniture and other products. The new date—Sept. 4—is the day before another holiday: Labor Day.

We can get the little stuff in the grocery stores here, so that might be it for us.

Trump Slams National Review, Noonan, Will for Not Seeing ‘Potential Greatness of Our Country’

Former President Donald Trump criticized three nominally conservative pundits as well as National Review magazine on Sunday following their recent dismissive pieces of the former president.

Trump excoriated Peggy Noonan, columnist for The Wall Street Journal and former speech writer for President Ronald Reagan; Rich Lowry, editor of National Review; and George Will, columnist for the Washington Post.

“I listen to all of these foolish (stupid!) people, often living in a bygone era, like the weak and frail RINO, Peggy Noonan, who did much less for Ronald Reagan than she claims, and who actually said bad things about him and his ability to speak, or Rich Lowry, who has destroyed the once wonderful and influential National Review, the pride and joy of the legendary William F. Buckley, or George Will, whose mind is decaying with hatred and envy before our very eyes, or Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Hayes, two people who are finally out of the conversation and of no relevance whatsoever,” Trump wrote in a press release distributed by his Save America PAC.

Well, alrighty then.

EXCLUSIVE: Steve Bannon Interviews the Heroic Archbishop Viganò

A “silent coup” is a coup d’état that takes place without the use of force, carried out by a government that exercises power in an unconstitutional way.

In this case the coup was carried out in all the Western nations almost simultaneously, beginning with the first years of the 1990s. For Italy, this coup began with the divestment of investee companies and the privatization of services that normally burdened the treasury, such as health and transportation services, following the directives given by high finance to Mario Draghi on June 2, 1992, on the yacht Britannia. Yes, Mario Draghi, who at the time was General Director of the Ministry of the Treasury and whom then-President of the Italian Republic Francesco Cossiga called a “cowardly businessman.” In other nations this coup took place in an analogous way, with a series of progressive transfers of sovereignty to supra-national entities like the European Commission, the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. With the introduction of the euro [in 2002], monetary sovereignty was removed from the nations adhering to the Maastricht Treaty, transferring it to the European Central Bank, which is a private bank. This bank decides the rate with which it finances national budgets, using money that these same nations have already given it. In practice, the European Central Bank demands interest on money that it only returns a penny at a time, and only on certain conditions: reforms, cuts in public spending, the imposition of laws promoting gender equality, abortion rights, the indoctrination of children, etc. The introduction of a balanced budget requirement into the [Italian] Constitution – as if the State was a company – was also part of the silent coup.

All the members of these bodies, including the same rulers who have been appointed at the recommendation of non-elected powers or have succeeded in winning election thanks to the manipulation of information, are at the same time the servants of high finance power groups or of large investment funds – some were their employees, such as Draghi of Goldman Sachs – others became employees after their term ended. Just like the drug agencies and health organizations are composed of former BigPharma employees, who often receive consulting contracts and who are paid by the very pharmaceutical companies they are supposed to be keeping an eye on.

Up until the pandemic, power was in practice still managed at least formally by individual nations, and laws were passed by Parliaments. But for the last two years, the Parliaments have been deprived of authority, and all those whom the World Economic Forum and other lobbies have succeeded in placing at the high levels of governments and international institutions have begun to legislate against the Constitution and the interests of the Nation, obeying orders given to them from on high – “from the markets,” they tell us – which in fact is made up of a very small number of multinational corporations that engulf competing companies, flatten professional skills with damage to the quality of the product, and reduce the protection and wages of workers thanks to the complicity of unions and of the Left.

In short, we are governed by a high command of usurers and speculators, from Bill Gates who invests in large farms right on the eve of the food emergency or in vaccines just before the outbreak of the pandemic, to George Soros, who speculates on the fluctuations of currencies and government bondsand along with Hunter Biden finances a bio-laboratory in Ukraine.

One Question Could End the Biden Admin

The Fundamentalist Church of Free Trade

Since Congress foolishly delegated its powers to negotiate tariff rates to the executive branch in the 1930s (in the Reciprocal Trade Agreements Act of 1934) trade liberalism has become the norm. High-tariff Republicanism, which dates back to Lincoln, has been discarded. The very legitimate idea of protecting needy American industries, a fundamentally Hamiltonian belief, is now scoffed at by the Fundamentalist Church of Free Trade.

Certain high-ranking clergymen like Karl Rove, George Will, Bill Kristol, and Newt Gingrich will often dismiss those on the Right who speak favorably of tariff implementation as a way to facilitate a truly America-First economic agenda. Protectionist measures, they claim, are backward and “neo-isolationist.”

This is simply hogwash.

Dogmatic trade liberals completely dismiss the adverse effects of free trade. The fact of the matter is that certain trade liberalizing policies (think WTO and NAFTA) have slaughtered the Rust Belt. Many American cities which were once great epicenters of innovation and industrialization now look a lot like Aleppo. This, in turn, has led to the mass disenfranchisement of blue-collar workers who are told to enroll in largely ineffective job retraining programs.

May I See Your ID?

Anyway, the following conversation, stripped to the essentials, took place between Yours Truly and the manager (a good guy, and I’d say twenty years younger than me) at a chain grocery store. I was buying wine.

“Do you have an ID?”

What for? I bought wine here many times and never needed an ID.

“It’s a new policy.”

Why? Don’t I look old enough?

“Well, we need the ID.”

Why? Do I look anywhere near 21?

“All the major chains [he named them in the area] are now doing it.”

That they are. But why? Do I look too young?

“It’s for your safety.”

Safety? How is it making me safe for you to see my ID?

“It’s policy.”

But why is it policy? I don’t look anywhere near 21.

AMOS 8:4-6, 9-12

4Hear this, you who trample upon the needy, and bring the poor of the land to an end, 5saying, “When will the new moon be over, that we may sell grain? And the sabbath, that we may offer wheat for sale, that we may make the ephah small and the shekel great, and deal deceitfully with false balances, 6that we may buy the poor for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the refuse of the wheat?” 9“And on that day,” says the Lord GOD, “I will make the sun go down at noon, and darken the earth in broad daylight. 10I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; I will bring sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness on every head; I will make it like the mourning for an only son, and the end of it like a bitter day. 11“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “when I will send a famine on the land; not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. 12They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; they shall run to and fro, to seek the word of the LORD, but they shall not find it.

And while this is another Monday……

We will dispense with the boilerplate, so that we may all remember and honor our fallen sister in arms, Wheatietoo.

OK – maybe just her three rules, from her very first open thread.

The Sad News

It is my sad duty to inform my fellow patriots that it is fairly certain Miss Wheatie left us earlier this spring. In respect of Wheatie’s deep love of privacy, I will not give all the details of my investigation, but I will try to give you enough information that you can be certain she is in a better place now.

https://youtu.be/7dbwwu7ydhM

What Happened

Wheatie’s last comments here were on Christmas Eve of 2021. You may recall that we were temporarily locked out of the site, but got back in soon, after regrouping on the backup sites, and thanks to some help from our hosting company.

Wheatie “liked” a few posts during the next few days after Christmas, but did not comment. Her last “like” was on the December 29 open thread, just 4 days after Christmas.

Wheatie’s last comment on Gab was on 12/20, re-posting this meme:

Wheatie had been having difficulty posting during the fall, due to health reasons, and was having to limit computer screen time for the sake of her eyes. When I gave her the option to be relieved of the Monday thread, she took it without hesitation. Unfortunately, things did not improve.

In early December, after my wife and I recovered from Delta, which we caught around Thanksgiving, I reached out to Wheatie on Gab, because I hadn’t seen her comment in a while. She responded, telling me that she had spent a week in what seemed like a long asthma attack, and which she thought might be some kind of bad bout of allergies.

The next time I reached out to her, in early spring – nothing.

Since then, I have tried many methods of contacting her, with absolutely no luck.

Finally, I decided to look for evidence that Wheatie might have passed away. Unfortunately, that led almost immediately to an obituary notice which matched absolutely everything I knew about Wheatie. And I mean everything. Things that nobody else here knows.

At that point, I decided to enlist the aid of Aubergine, who has done professional genealogy work. Her investigation made it even more clear that we had found our Wheatie. We both agreed that it was time to tell everybody, so that people could offer prayers and honor our fellow Q Treeper. But at the same time, we felt it necessary to maintain the secrecy of Wheatie’s identity, which she had worked very, very hard to maintain.

The Real Wheatie

Wheatie lived a long, blessed, and wonderful life. Be assured of that. She did fascinating things, enjoyed the love of family, and stood up for principles in a way which profoundly influenced many lives, including my own. She made a difference.

Wheatietoo was one of the first people to join this site, and helped to turn it from a mere blog, into a true meeting-place for patriots and lovers of freedom. Many of us knew her from long before, however, on Sundance’s site, or in some cases, on Ace of Spades HQ, where she had been a regular.

Among many other things, Wheatie was responsible for this site’s long-running James Coburn meme, in which I, too, took great pleasure.

She was also responsible for the “tree and treehouse” memes, which were a comfort for all of us in the rough early days of this site.

Perhaps the most significant thing that Wheatie did, was to refuse to accept the stolen election, or the illegitimate Biden presidency. You can even see it in the title of this thread – “Joe Biden didn’t win.”

Wheatietoo’s adamant refusal to accept the lie, echoed and cascaded through this site, and far beyond. I still remember that point, when I told myself that I would become her “first follower” as far as refusing to accept EVEN THE IDEA that Joe Biden had won the election. I told her – don’t stop saying this, because if she didn’t stop – I wouldn’t stop, either.

I truly believe that Miss Wheatie now rests in peace, knowing that we will carry on the fight.

❀ JOE BIDEN DIDN’T WIN ❀

Likewise, Wheatie always felt that Vladimir Putin was a patriotic nationalist, much like American patriots, and that conflict with Russia is neither inevitable nor necessary. Thus, in lieu of flowers, may I suggest remembering “what would Wheatie say?”, the next time some neocon tries to whip up war hysteria, especially with Russia.

There is a Baha’i saying that I like, to the effect that “when a thought of war comes, oppose it with a stronger thought of peace.” I find this idea useful – so try thinking of Wheatie when the next warmonger starts rattling the saber within earshot. Wheatie will set them straight!

Thoughts and Prayers

Please feel free to share your reminiscences about Wheatietoo in the comments. Your prayers are most welcome, too!

Thank you all for your good thoughts and kindnesses toward Miss Wheatie while she was here with us. Your prayers and well-wishes at this time and in the future will be just as effective, I am certain.

DEAR MAGA: TGIF Open Thread 20220624

Before we dig in, I opened the Bartender’s Bible and got this:

Brainstorm

  • 2 Ounces Scotch
  • 1/2 Ounce Benedictine
  • 1 teaspoon sweet vermouth

In a mixing glass half filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.

On Thursday, despite previous disappointments, President Trump’s Supreme Court picks came through big time.

Supreme Court Rejects New York Special Need Limitation on Carrying a Firearm, Affirms Inherent Right to Carry

Oops. The Senate is busy trying to restrict the second amendment with red flag laws and Justice Clarence Thomas as well as Alito, Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Coney-Barrett all just confirmed it’s pretty bullet proof.

And then there was this:

Realization begins to dawn that the states are going to have to walk back a whole lot of restrictions.

The liberals aren’t taking this well at all.

The north side of my hometown really looks more like a war zone, but yes.

https://twitter.com/PapiTrumpo/status/1540025543382425602

Second place for the Trump picks came through big time:

That should be a no brainer.

And the third is a victory for states’ rights in addition to election integrity:

Supreme Court Says North Carolina Republicans Can Defend Photo ID Law In Court

The US. Supreme Court has ruled 8-1 that leaders of North Carolina’s Republican legislature can step in to advocate for a voter ID law in court that they believe the state’s Democratic attorney general isn’t fighting hard enough to defend.

Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor was the only one to dissent in the case, which has been closely watched given November’s crucial midterm elections are just months away.

“At the heart of this lawsuit lies a challenge to the constitutionality of a North Carolina election law. But the merits of that dispute are not before us, only an antecedent question of civil procedure: Are two leaders of North Carolina’s state legislature entitled to participate in the case under the terms of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure,” Gorsuch wrote in the opinion.

“Within wide constitutional bounds, States are free to structure themselves as they wish. Often, they choose to
conduct their affairs through a variety of branches, agencies, and elected and appointed officials. These constituent pieces sometimes work together to achieve shared goals; other times they reach very different judgments about important policy questions and act accordingly. This diffusion of governmental powers within and across institutions may be an everyday feature of American life. But it can also pose its difficulties when a State’s laws or policies are challenged in federal court,” he added.

HALLELUJAH!

Really, the left was not happy about three big defeats in one day.

It will be 50 times worse.

Let’s see…what tabs were open before all that happened….

TRUE THE VOTE AND PROTECT AMERICA NOW LAUNCH PROTECTAMERICA.VOTE
New partnership will equip sheriffs, inform citizens, and protect our elections

True the Vote and Protect America Now have joined forces in a new partnership to help protect American elections. ProtectAmerica.vote is an initiative that will provide local sheriffs with information, resources, and tools to support election integrity in their county.

Good luck with that effort.

THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF TWEETS: TWITTER IS HIRING AN ALARMING NUMBER OF FBI AGENTS

Twitter has been on a recruitment drive of late, hiring a host of former feds and spies. Studying a number of employment and recruitment websites, MintPress has ascertained that the social media giant has, in recent years, recruited dozens of individuals from the national security state to work in the fields of security, trust, safety and content.

Chief amongst these is the Federal Bureau of Investigations. The FBI is generally known as a domestic security and intelligence force. However, it has recently expanded its remit into cyberspace. “The FBI’s investigative authority is the broadest of all federal law enforcement agencies,” the “About” section of its website informs readers. “The FBI has divided its investigations into a number of programs, such as domestic and international terrorism, foreign counterintelligence [and] cyber crime,” it adds.

For example, in 2019, Dawn Burton (the former director of Washington operations for Lockheed Martin) was poached from her job as senior innovation advisor to the director at the FBI to become senior director of strategy and operations for legal, public policy, trust and safety at Twitter. The following year, Karen Walsh went straight from 21 years at the bureau to become director of corporate resilience at the silicon valley giant. Twitter’s deputy general counsel and vice president of legal, Jim Baker, also spent four years at the FBI between 2014 and 2018, where his resumé notes he rose to the role of senior strategic advisor.

Nothing to see here. Move along.

Tucker Carlson Calls Out the Right Wing of the UniParty Vulture

The UniParty issue does not start in Washington DC, it surfaces in Washington DC.

The UniParty agenda, the origin of the crap that we see surface in a toxically corrupt federal government, starts IN YOUR STATE.

The UniParty is an outcome of the private organizations that run the political parties known as the RNC and DNC.  This is where almost all voters and political followers get lost.  The Republican and Democrat parties are not affiliated with any construct of the United States government.  They are private entities, private clubs, that can establish any set of rules and regulations for the people within the club/party.   That’s where the origin of the feces begins.

The club can accept or deny membership for any person who wants to run for political office.  The RNC and DNC clubs essentially select the politicians.  There is nothing within this process that is even remotely democratic, representative or even visible in the framework of the U.S. constitution.

Private corporations known as the RNC and DNC run the professional political apparatus, and from that origination all of the corruption in the body politic -as outlined in the visible UniParty agenda- surfaces.   Two clubs, both funded by Wall Street power brokers, globalists and ultra-rich mega-donors, select the members who will represent their interests in Washington DC.   That’s the root of the issue.

Some curious things on journalism popped up:

The media bubble is real: Study shows massive disconnect between journalists, public

To say there’s a disconnect between many journalists and the public they serve is a gross understatement, according to a new in-depth survey by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center.

Per Pew, 65 percent of the nearly 12,000 journalists surveyed say the media do a solid job of “covering the most important stories of the day” and reporting news accurately. But a solid majority of the American public at large has the opposite view, with just 35 percent feeling the same way. That’s a 30-point perception gap.

American journalism is just about done

I just came upon an article in the N.Y. Times, via RCP, about the attempts by evil conservatives to use the courts to block government efforts to limit the production of “greenhouse” gases.  It caught my attention because the author, Coral Davenport, appeared on PBS’s Washington Week some years ago.  She went on and on about how Florida would soon be submerged unless drastic measures were taken.  The moderator, the late Gwen Ifill, had to shut her up and move on to another topic.  Foam almost started dripping from her mouth.  And yet, she’s still cranking out this screed.

This did seem rather unusual until I remembered a much earlier event.  Before climate change was the global emergency du jour, there was a rebellious movement within the Sierra Club to consider uncontrolled immigration across our southern border as a serious environmental problem.  This was immensely controversial, considering the political correctness typical of the club’s rank and file.  The S.F. Chronicle then posted an op-ed by one of the club’s directors, who just happened to have a Hispanic surname.  In the piece, he claimed that immigration is not a problem, environmental or otherwise.  The real problem, he stated, is personal freedom.  He went so far as to say the environment is put in peril because we get to live where we want to live, work where we want to work, eat what we want to eat, and go where we want to go.

Hmmm.  Davenport’s article also stated that government needs to have more power over how we live.  And, going back to Washington Week, I had been a regular viewer for decades.  They had some real talent on the panel, such as David S. Broder, considered by many to be the dean of the Washington press corps.  Now they are moderated by Yamiche Alcindor, a total lightweight.  Once, when she was a panelist, she stated as fact that Republicans were opposed to the Affordable Care Act (AKA “Obamacare”) for no other reason than that Obama is Black.  There was then a moment of stunned silence among the other panelists.  Gee, economics, consumer sovereignty, patient modality, and other realities of medical practice might be of more significance.  I could take only the first five minutes of Yamiche’s stewardship of the show before changing my viewing habits.

Can’t say I disagree.

It looks like the Fed and the White House got their signals crossed.

Firebombed NY pregnancy center facing investigation — for not offering abortion services

While Jim Harden waits for those responsible for firebombing the pro-life CompassCare pregnancy center he runs in upstate New York to be brought to justice, he’s facing another, unexpected investigation — of the clinic itself.

One of several pro-abortion measures New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed into law on June 13 authorizes the state’s commissioner of health, currently Dr. Mary T. Bassett, to conduct an in-depth study of pro-life pregnancy centers like CompassCare that don’t provide abortion services.

The probe will assess the impact that so-called “limited service pregnancy centers” have on women’s access to “accurate, non-coercive health care information” and “a comprehensive range of reproductive and sexual health care services,” the legislation states. A final report is due in December 2023.

Harden, CompassCare’s CEO, told CNA that the state wants him to turn over information on CompassCare’s donors, patients, service processes, affiliates, and more. Meanwhile, no arrests have been made in the June 7 firebombing and vandalism of the clinic, located in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst, New York.

Wow.

More Russia stuff from BioClandestine:

Russian Media Blackout

This might seem strange to many Americans, since you all have been conditioned to immediately assume Russian media is “taboo” or “Russian disinformation”. I see it as the other side of the argument.

There’s a pretty serious situation going on here. 2 global superpowers are accusing the 3rd superpower of creating and unleashing biological weapons on the planet. And with how many times US MSM got caught blatantly lying to us about what was going on in Ukraine, they can’t really blame us for seeking other avenues for truth.

Also, I knew something was up when the Deep State and all of their subservient entities started banning RT, and all other Russian news outlets from their platforms. Big tech, social media, MSM, all of them have banned Russian news outlets, and will flag them as “disinformation”. And the record shows when these entities ban something this heavily, it normally turns out to be true.

This is an equation we are all trying to solve, and we can’t solve it without all of the variables. The Deep State DESPERATELY doesn’t want you to have access to Russian media, because that supplies you with the missing variable(s) to solve the equation. The solution to the equation is that the Deep State created C19, and a laundry list of other pathogens, and unleashed them on the world.

⚠️Russian Military Accuses CNN of Staging False Flags with Azov Nazi Battalion⚠️

Russian MIL are reporting they have intelligence that shows “two reporters from CNN news channel escorted by 10 servicemen of Azov nationalist battalion have arrived in Odessa for recording prepared terrorist attacks on civilian facilities in order to accuse Russia of using prohibited methods of warfare. We warn the so-called civilised West in advance that the abovementioned and other provocations by the Ukrainian authorities about the ‘atrocities of the Russians’ are soon to be widely circulated through the Western media and in various resources of the Internet.”

It’s fine. Just CNN working with Nazis in Ukraine to film a planned terrorist attack and blame it on Russia, to cover up for their Deep State overlords who got caught making bioweapons in Ukraine. Nothing to see here folks.

Finding our Way Through a Wilderness of Mirrors

With the Biden administration we are truly in a wilderness of curved mirrors, where people don’t trust what they see and what government says. The people behind Joe Biden don’t even try to hide the fact that their agenda constitutes what many feel is nothing short of betrayal — a government against the people.

We are passing through a time when the elite of our society call right, wrong and wrong, right, and when evil is called good and good is called evil.

What Changes a Culture?
Free Money Is Dangerous

We can break the computer algorithms destroying critical thinking

In the past twenty years and, with accelerating speed in the past ten years, computer algorithms determine what information Americans receive and even dictate how they should respond to that information. There is an ancient method of analyzing information that allows people to see and understand all sides of an issue. It’s practiced in Yeshivas (traditional Jewish education schools that focus on Biblical and religious texts) but can be applied anywhere. American cultural and political discourse would improve greatly if it were added to American education.

I recommend a Netflix special production, The Social Dilemmato everyone I meet—friends, relatives, shopkeepers, and even strangers. Although understated in tone, the movie is hard-hitting as it exposes the business model companies such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Instagram use to affect our thinking. The documentary’s conclusion is that computer algorithms have learned—on their own—how to reward humans to increase the amount of attention they pay to their devices. Then, the information technology companies sell the accumulated increased attention to advertisers in an auction-like process. Each person’s attention-increase is worth a few cents. These cents add up, making these giants the richest companies that have ever existed.

What the algorithms have learned is to feed back to people the same ideas with which they have already felt comfortable. Anything contradicting their present belief systems is blocked because it would reduce or end their attention and, thus, lower their monetary worth both to those who control the search engines and the advertisers who buy that “attention.” Truth has no bearing on the information that the systems provide to each person. Each person gets exactly what he feels at home with. Ideas are only of value if they increase attention; never for their contents.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And Auntie DePat’s requests:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

EZEKIEL 34:11-16

11“For thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. 12As a shepherd seeks out his flock when some of his sheep have been scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. 13And I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the fountains, and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14I will feed them with good pasture, and upon the mountain heights of Israel shall be their pasture; there they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on fat pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel. 15I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will make them lie down, says the Lord GOD. 16I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the crippled, and I will strengthen the weak, and the fat and the strong I will watch over; I will feed them in justice.

LUKE 15:3-7

3So he told them this parable: 4“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? 5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, `Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.’ 7Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Dear KMAG: 20220620 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And indeed, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

…and we will have fun doing it, too!

The Rules

Pursue Righteousness

Proverbs 15:9 says, “The LORD detests the way of the wicked, but he loves those who pursue righteousness.” One thing that particularly sticks out to me here is that God loves those who pursue or work toward righteousness. I don’t have to attain righteousness for God to love me.

This is important as it is impossible for me to attain righteousness by my own efforts. For example, Romans 3:10-12 says: As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God.  All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”

During the past several months, I’ve seen a few Christians write that they are dissatisfied with their progress in the Christian life, which is all about faith and working toward becoming righteous. Now, that dissatisfaction is good if it spurs efforts toward becoming more righteous, but there is some perspective that is needed here also.

I view our Christian journey toward righteousness something like the trip we would face if we were all at Avila Beach in CA with the intent of getting to Hawaii. There is a great long pier at Avila Beach that stretches it’s way out into the Pacific Ocean. Some of us are just stepping away from the shore onto that pier. Others may have traveled halfway along the pier, and still others may be close to three quarters along the way. You might be a bit farther along than me, and I might be a bit farther along than someone else, but due to the length of a human life and the lack of capabilities of us humans, no one in their lifetime ever makes it to the end of the pier. And, if they did, they’d still have more than 2,000 miles to swim in order to reach Hawaii.

Before we can pursue righteousness, we need to define it. The word most often translated “righteousness” can also mean “justice, justness, or divine holiness.” Righteousness can be broadly defined as “the condition of being acceptable to God as made possible by God.” God’s standard is what defines true righteousness; His power is what enables it. Unless God is its author, we will never possess righteousness. No amount of man-made effort will result in righteousness. To be righteous is to be right with God. A heart that is right with God results in a life that bears “fruit” (John 15:1–2; Mark 4:20). Galatians 5:22-23 lists some of that fruit.

A common substitute for true righteousness is self-righteousness. Self-righteousness is the opposite of what God desires. Self-righteousness makes a list of rules and checks them off, congratulating itself on how well it is doing compared to others. The Pharisees of Jesus’ day were masters of self-righteousness, but Jesus had harsh words for them: “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness” (Matthew 23:27–28).

To pursue righteousness means we must recognize that we cannot please God in our sinful state (Romans 8:8). We turn from trying to justify ourselves by our good deeds and instead seek the mercy of God. We desire that He transform our minds (Romans 12:2) and conform us “to the image of His Son” (Romans 8:29). In the Old Testament, men were declared righteous when they believed God and acted on it (Genesis 15:6; Galatians 3:6; James 2:23). Before Pentecost (Acts 2:1–4), people pursued righteousness by keeping God’s Law, seeking holiness, and “walking humbly with God” (Micah 6:8). No one was justified by rule-keeping, but by the faith that enabled them to obey God (Romans 3:20; Galatians 2:16).

Likewise, today we are justified by the faith that leads us to Jesus (Romans 3:28; 5:1; 10:10). Those who are in Christ continue seeking God in order to please Him (Colossians 3:1). When we come to faith in Christ, He gives us the Holy Spirit who empowers us to pursue righteousness for its own sake (Acts 2:38). He commands us to “walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16, 25).

We pursue righteousness when we pursue the character of Christ and desire holiness rather than fleshly indulgence. We avoid the temptation to become self-righteous when we understand that true righteousness begins with godly humility (Psalm 25:9). We remember that Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). When we spend time in the presence of God, we become more aware of our own sin and shortcomings. A dingy shirt looks white beside a dark wall. But, when compared with snow, the same shirt looks dirty. Pride and self-righteousness cannot remain in the presence of a holy God. Pursuing righteousness begins when a humble heart seeks the presence of God (James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:6). The humble, believing heart leads to a lifestyle of pursuing righteous actions acceptable to God (Psalm 51:10).

Pursuing righteousness is a lifelong struggle in our Christian life. True perfection will not come until the rapture of the church, when we rise to meet Jesus in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At that time the dead in Christ will be resurrected, and the bodies of the living will be changed (Philippians 3:20, 21; 1 Corinthians 15:54). We will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10) where our works will be judged and rewards will be given (1 Corinthians 3:9–15). Our redemption will be complete, and our sin will be gone forever. We will live and reign with Christ in sinless perfection forever.

We should encourage each other with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:18).
