Money grew out of the barter system. Money has been gold, silver, copper, obsidian arrow points, blankets…. Anything that is scarce, durable, portable and if possible dividable.
When people started storing their gold with goldsmiths and found that the receipts for that gold was as good as the gold during a transaction… Well that is when the trouble started.
The Goldsmiths figured out that people did not come back for their gold in large numbers. Therefore they could write receipts on the SAME gold a number of times and as long as no one caught on and most people left the gold stored with them, they could LEND OUT those receipts. I don’t know how they check the ‘purity’ of oil, but they must have a way to do it.
You can’t just roll into town with a supertanker full of oil, and exchange billions of dollars for it (however many equivalent barrels of oil a supertanker holds x agreed upon price per barrel) without verifying that the oil meets whatever grade it was represented as being.
Gold also has to be verified, because counterfeit gold has been a problem since forever.
Bitcoin is instantly verifiable at zero cost, it is not possible to counterfeit or dilute.
That’s one of the reasons Bitcoin is called ‘trustless’, because ‘trust’ is not part of the equation, no one is ever in a position to ‘trust’ the other party they are doing business with.
This is one of many aspects of Bitcoin which is superior to gold or oil.
In the particular case of gold some refiners’ bars are considered “good delivery” on a futures contract–i.e., they’re trusted to contain their specified quantity of actual gold.
This doesn’t mean you can’t counterfeit their marks on bars.
However (and this is not generally considered a good thing) gold tends to be stored in some central vault out there somewhere (New Jersey I think) and you have a piece of paper that says you own such-and-such piece of it. Provided you trust the vault under all circumstances it can save you the headache of storing 100 ounces of gold (that’s per futures contract). If you don’t trust them, then you have to make other arrangements. And you’ll probably want to hire security when you get your hundred ounces of gold from them.

Yes, but if I understand correctly, if you take personal possession of one, that changes.
If you take delivery, i.e., personal possession, of a 100oz gold bar as a result of a futures contract, I don’t think you can resell it to any exchange without paying to have it melted, assayed and re-poured into a certified gold bar.
They’re not just going to give Johnny Q. Public $325K cash when he rolls up in his 1972 Ford Pinto with a 100oz bar of gold in the back seat 😁
And it’s not easy to take personal possession of a Futures contract on precious metals.
One of the yootoobers who specializes in precious metals commentary (Rafi Farber) tried to do it 3 years ago, as an experiment, to demonstrate the process, and he couldn’t do it.
He kept running into problems, because the exchanges don’t have processes in place to transfer individual gold or silver bars to the public.
He was trying to take delivery on a 5,000oz silver futures contract, which is 5 x 1,000oz bars.
1,000oz silver bars are not exactly 1,000oz, the bars can vary in weight quite a bit, so you buy whatever the actual weight is stamped into the 5 bars.
In Rafi’s case, the total amount of the Silver in his “5,000oz” silver futures contract was 5,101oz, but it could have been 4,900oz, or very close to 5,000oz, etc., depending on the exact weight of the five individual bars that were allocated to his contract.
He tried to ‘stand for delivery’, but they couldn’t make it happen.

Yes, there’s some “slop” or tolerance; you’re not guaranteed to get the exact amount of the contract; it can be a bit more or a bit less, but you pay that price multiplied by the actual weight delivered.
This is because the big bars are simply poured into a mold and they can’t control how much is poured that precisely. So they just try to get as close as possible and stamp the actual weight into the bar after it has cooled and been tipped out of the mold. This makes it relatively cheap to make the bars. Melt, pour into mold, historically, ofttimes take a tiny bit out for assay. (This is in contrast to small, struck products like silver and gold rounds, 1 or even 10 ounce bars, and even coins…those are much more labor intensive to make and the planchet has to be meticulously weighed, which is a part of the reason they have a premium over spot. [Another part of the reason is spot is artificially set though it can’t wander too far off from what the actual street price is.])
As for actually getting it delivered, yes that’s painful; I’ve been aware of that. It’s even more entertaining on the gold side, where the contracts are for 100 ozt but the “standard” gold bar is roughly 400 ozt.
Margin requirements exist so that if you take a gigantic loss (price goes down on something you buy, or up on something you sell) and you’re the typical person who just liquidates and eats the loss or pockets the gain, you have enough money to cover the shortfall.
However, this guy already had enough money in the account to cover the loss if silver’s price dropped to zero and then he decided to sell (as opposed to taking delivery). That’s because he had put in enough money to cover the entire value of the bar as bought, including 10 percent slop. So that’s just absurd.
But that’s the point.
I’ll stick to buying physical over the counter and being handed my lump-o-metal at the time. (Though I did do mail order once, from a company trusted to come through.)

As another side note, I actually got to heft a 400 oz gold bar, and (many years later) got to do the same with a 1000 oz silver bar. In both cases I don’t know the exact weights. But assuming an actual 1000 oz bar, that weighs just a smidge over 31 kilograms.

Maybe, if there is a civilization-ending event, but at that point, whoever survives will be bartering goods for goods.
Probably better to be dead in that scenario.
If civilization continues, if technology continues, then at a certain point, everybody defaults to Bitcoin.
Almost nobody in 1st world nations will want to spend Bitcoin, in the same way that almost nobody spends gold.
People mostly hold gold as an insurance policy, and as a hedge against inflation.
Bitcoin fulfills both of those roles, while also having extraordinary upside (capital gain) potential, and soon (already, in some places) Bitcoin will provide yield or income to the owner, whereas gold has storage fees.
People will also hold Bitcoin and borrow against it, in the same way people borrow against real estate.
Suppose you own a block of prime real estate in Manhattan. You don’t want to sell it, instead you want to generate perpetual income. So you borrow against it, put buildings on it, and rent the office space for income.
You get mortgage interest tax deductions on the loans, you get income from the rents, and you get continual appreciation of the property value over time.
As Michael Saylor frequently says, Bitcoin is prime real estate in cyberspace. And Bitcoin appreciates faster than any other asset in the world.
You can get a higher loan to value (LTV) on Bitcoin than on any real estate. The loan is (or will soon be) practically instantaneous, there is no appraisal required, no income statement required, etc. Because if you default on the loan, the Bitcoin collateral can be liquidated instantly by the lender.
So most people will want to save Bitcoin, they won’t want to spend it. This will make it more scarce, because it won’t circulate, like currency does.
People used to save silver coins, picking silver dimes and quarters out of their pocket change to keep them, because they were worth more than face value. Gresham’s law is a monetary principle stating that “bad money drives out good”.
When the silver was removed from U.S. coins in 1965, the fiat coins (bad money) drove out the silver coins (good money), because people hoarded the silver coins, and used the worthless fiat coins to transact business.
Gold is a greater store of value than silver.

If for no other reason (there are others), than because there is a finite amount of Bitcoin that can ever be produced — and most of it, 20 million of the 21 million total, has already been produced.

Currently, there are 450 Bitcoin mined every day. In 2028 it drops to 225 Bitcoin mined per day. In 2032 it drops to 112.5 Bitcoin mined per day. In 2036 it drops to 56.25 mined per day, in 2040 it drops to 28.125 Bitcoin mined per day, and so on.
So it will take a long time for the last million Bitcoin to be produced.
So, effectively, the vast majority that will ever exist, already exists.

Short answer: zero
After the last Bitcoin is mined, when the total amount mined reaches the 21st millionth Bitcoin, around a hundred years from now if I remember correctly, there will be zero remaining Bitcoin to be mined.
Bitcoin mining will end, forever.
Whatever amount there is (i.e., 21 million minus however much has been lost, the current amount known to be lost is around 5 million), is all that is or ever will be available, in the world, for trade.
And since accidents will always happen, small amounts of Bitcoin will continue to be lost over time, just like people lose loose change over time. The difference is that the U.S. mint replaces lost coinage and worn out paper dollars, but there will be no means to replace lost Bitcoin.
This does not present a problem however, because Bitcoin is divisible into very small amounts, and as the price of Bitcoin (in dollars) goes up, the value of very small amounts goes up.
Once the last Bitcoin has been mined, the only way to acquire Bitcoin will be at the spot price on the exchanges, or through peer to peer direct transactions (e.g., you could do a job for someone in exchange for some fraction of a Bitcoin), or through proxies like the Bitcoin ETFs or the stock of major Bitcoin holding companies like MSTR, who in turn have to acquire their Bitcoin at spot prices on the exchanges.
So the only Bitcoin available for purchase will be Bitcoin held by individuals, corporations, governments, ETFs and Sovereign wealth funds.
The market will determine the price.
The price will have to be high enough that holders are willing to sell.
Since holders will be able to generate income plus enjoy capital appreciation from their Bitcoin, at very low risk compared to other investment options, and considering the finite and scarce nature of the commodity, I would expect the price in fiat dollars to be very high.
Many Bitcoin holders will never sell, because they have more to gain by holding than from selling.
Michael Saylor, of MicroStrategy (now renamed Strategy, but everyone still calls them MicroStrategy, and they have the same ticker symbol, MSTR) has said from the beginning that they will never sell their Bitcoin, and so far, they never have.
Eventually, MSTR will become a Bitcoin financial institution, a Bitcoin bank, deriving all of their corporate income from Bitcoin yield and lending activities, and from the appreciation in value of their Bitcoin holdings.
MSTR already has the largest amount of Bitcoin, by far, of any publicly traded company in the world, with over 550,000 Bitcoin.
So MSTR has over 11 times the amount of the next highest company. No one else is even close.
MSTR has ‘first mover’ advantage. As a practical matter, it will be nearly impossible for anyone to catch up to MSTR, because to do so would push the price up.
Suppose the company with the second highest amount, MARA (Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc.) wanted to overtake MSTR.
They would have to buy 506,000 Bitcoin just to tie MSTR, so at today’s price (currently $94,239), it would cost $47,684,934,000 for MARA to buy enough Bitcoin to catch MSTR.
But even if they had that much money, they can’t just go into the market and buy 506,000 Bitcoin at the current spot price of $94,239 per Bitcoin, because that would cause an immediate supply crunch, pushing the price up 2x or 3x or higher very quickly, long before they were able to acquire 506,000 Bitcoin.
So to acquire 506,000 Bitcoin today would cost much more than than the current spot price x 506,000.
So from a practical standpoint, it is likely that only a sovereign nation state government could buy enough Bitcoin to surpass MSTR, because governments can print fiat currency at zero cost to themselves, and use it to buy Bitcoin, the hardest asset in the world.
If a government decided to do that (and they already are), they are not price sensitive like corporations or individuals. Their fiat is ‘free’ (to them), it’s like having a counterfeit money printing machine.
Anyone who does decide to sell their Bitcoin would likely be in a financial situation where he needed to sell, someone who needed to raise immediate cash, otherwise why would he sell?
A normal reason to sell an investment would be to reinvest in something else to generate a greater ROI… but what will generate a greater ROI than Bitcoin, or be able to do so with less risk?
If the answer is nothing, then why would anyone who has it, ever sell it?
It’s fun to talk about, because once the concepts and basic parameters are understood, you can approach it from any angle and just work your way through to the answer.
Remember that a whole lot of life is denominated in “corrupt gains” — just look at the front of a greenback. First line is “Federal Reserve Note”; second line is “The United States of America” [as opposed to Zimbabwe]; third line is “This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.”
Your taxes — Federal, State, and Local — are payable only in such “corrupt gains”. So are your power, water, and phone bills. If you get Social Security or any other such, it’ll be paid in corrupt gains…….and, if that doesn’t worry you, look around at your neighbors.

Years ago, a friend who works as a contractor for a fed agency told me that working for Serco had been a good job for her. I personally have mixed thoughts about such things. I neither discount them nor accept them – definitely not quickly, and often never.
I get why the RCC studies these things for years, often never arriving at a final conclusion, and fully endorse and defend that thinking.
I think there are reasonable hypothetical explanations both ways, and ultimately the Q question “what are the odds?” is the central question of that debate.
That said, I think it’s more important that people have ways to express faith, be that faith in God, or in the things those people choose to believe (and have faith in) in science. In fact, I don’t see much difference in either form of faith. Both ways are good-faith (pun kept, but not originally intended) attempts to reasonably explain the universe, often in areas that defy full logical proof.
Reality and consciousness can be very strange. Some stuff needs to be kept as strange and unknown. We don’t have to say that we understand everything right now, because clearly over history that idea is always wrong.
The fact of it is interesting…and that’s all. It does not make Biggs a prophet or someone whom people should follow. The inaccuracies are concerning. The actual event was worse than his vision, for Trump was actually hit by a bullet. There’s a big difference between a bullet grazing by vs. actually hitting someone.
Brandon Dale Biggs, an Oklahoma pastor and self-proclaimed prophet [beware] who said he accurately [no, not wholly accurately] predicted the assassination attempt on Donald Trump, has come up with another eerie prediction. Mr Biggs said god had shown him a vision of a 10-magnitude earthquake which may kill thousands of people across the US, according to a report in Metro. Mr Biggs claimed that the earthquake would hit the New Madrid fault line, stretching through Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois.
‘It was so big, there were 1,800 people who died [along that stretch]. All the houses on cinder blocks were completely shaken to the foundation, they just fell,” said Mr Biggs.
‘[The] New Madrid earthquake [is] so big [and] when it happens the Mississippi River starts it goes out another direction.’
Is a 10-magnitude earthquake possible?
Contrary to Mr Biggs’ claims, earthquakes of magnitude 10 or greater cannot happen, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The magnitude of an earthquake is related to the length of the fault on which it occurs. That is, the longer the fault, the larger the earthquake. Currently, no fault on Earth is long enough to generate such a megaquake.
The largest earthquake ever recorded was a magnitude 9.5 on May 22, 1960 in Chile on a fault that is almost 1,000 miles long.
Call me a stickler, but I don’t believe God gives partially correct words to those who claim to be hearing from Him and thus representing Him by “imparting His word” to the people.
A number of people have premonitions of things that have come true. I know of someone who heard a voice tell her to put on the brakes of her car, and that saved her from being in a horrible accident or maybe being killed. But she is not a prophet and doesn’t claim to be one. I know of people who have had feelings that they should not take a planned trip and that sort of thing.
To clarify, the incident I described was not a matter of the woman not paying attention and slamming on the brakes at the last minute. She was driving behind a vehicle that was transporting some large beams. There were no traffic problems, and she was fully alert. Then she heard a voice tell her to brake, which she did even though she could see no reason for it, and the beams fell off the vehicle and would have hit her or crushed her if she had continued at her former speed. She was terribly shaken after the event, but grateful. I’ve heard her tell the story a couple of times, but it isn’t something she dwells on or takes credit for.

I personally hesitate to form strong opinions regarding accuracy due to a number of factors. First of all these forms of “knowing” come through something more like a dream state. And as such there are issues with how much is recalled, with the process where the person takes these dreamlike impressions and converts them into language, and what those reading/listening do with that language.
Your example of the premonition about needing put on the brakes is far more common that we think about most of the time.
The first step is that the woman “sensed” something. That may indicate that first there was a source of outside knowing. Then somehow that translated into her body as a “sensing.” Which was a strong enough sense that her neurological threat sense circuitry elevated the sense to a conscious level. At which point she would assess (look at the truck with a load) and decide whether to take action.
If at any point in the process she did not follow the above path, something else would have happened. Would we judge her to be faulty in her “prophesy?” if the load manages to stay on the truck long enough for her to pass it and go on down the road with it only falling after she was gone?
We are limited in our facts and our understanding always.

IMO it’s not about the reader or listener. People can distort anything, and often do. It’s about what the person in question states and whether it is accurate and comes true.
Maybe you think that God imparts messages to people, only for them to have faulty recall and give a “message from God” that isn’t accurate…but I don’t. That Biggs had a dream is not in question; whether it makes him a prophet to whom God is speaking for the purpose of imparting messages to us, is in question, IMO.
What are we, the listeners, to gain by the earthquake prophecy? Should everyone in the earthquake corridor move away? Maybe they should get their lives in order, but so should every person on earth. Life is such that anything can happen at any time, and that message can be imparted in ways other than predicting catastrophic events.

That’s not what you said. You said she sensed something. We don’t normally talk about hearing someone speak to us as our sensing something. “Sensing something” usually indicates having a feeling that is outside the realm of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.

I apologize for how this might come across, but this is frustrating, and I’m amazed at how people will twist things to fit their own narrative. I just told you that what happened with the woman was not what you were making it out to be, and yet you appear to be trying to convince me otherwise in order to make a point. When people don’t acknowledge what the other one says, fruitful conversation can’t be had.
I agree with you that hearing a audible voice while alone in a car could be categorized differently than other types of more intuitive sensing. For example, a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach when you think about talking with a certain person that is up to no good, would be a different type of sensing. And certainly you could say that a dream is an entirely different sensing.
And yet, what I wanted to communicate on that point remains the same.
Once a person perceives some kind of information, no matter what the route, there a still a number of steps that will follow. They register it as input. They try to make sense of that input. They decide if they will take action about it (hit the brakes, tell someone else, etc.).
And then others who learn of the story will also take it in as input, try to make sense of it (or reject it), and decide if they will take action about it.
Please forgive me if I’ve lost the plot.

Part of my frustration is because I am excessively weary of people making excuses for those who appear to be charlatans to me.
I don’t talk about my religious background, knowledge, and experiences here because I don’t want to get into religious discussions. But assuming that I just don’t know enough and therefore don’t understand prophecy is not accurate. So why am I discussing this? Because I see people believing in what false prophets say, and I see it as a danger. Also, I hate being lied to and conned, and that is what those people are doing.
Sorry about this rant. It’s not aimed at anyone in particular, but if it provides food for thought, well and good.
Has anyone researched any of those people to see what negative things have been said about them or what discrepancies there might be in what they present? A good way to find things is to search for “their name debunked.” I just did that for “Brandon Biggs debunked.” Three minutes of hearing him speak gives me the willies. I wouldn’t buy a used car from him. Yet some Christians hang on his every word (and those of others), disregard any discrepancies in his “prophecies,” make excuses for him, and insist that people like him — and there seem to be many — are speaking words from God.
It’s unfathomable to me. And I either get blamed for pointing things out, or I get the persuasion technique, whereby there is a drip, drip, drip of material presented to try to make me understand. All of this while no one considers the points I bring up or answers the reasonable questions that I have about the basis for their beliefs.
No one ever says “that’s an interesting point of view,” or “I’ll look into that” or “I hadn’t considered that” or “thanks for bringing that information” or anything of the kind. No, it’s just in-your-face insistence that I’m wrong or not nice or not knowledgeable enough to understand. (Or, in some cases, a refusal to talk with me at all.) On the other hand, I have looked into the people in question, and what I’ve found is appalling.
And lest anyone thinks my feelings are hurt, they are not. It’s not about feelings or a personal need to be acknowledged. It’s about trying to have a normal,reasonable, truthful, logical discussion, which does include a degree of acknowledgment of ideas. But apparently that is not possible in certain situations.
It would be instructive if, instead of immediate pushback, people would take a step back and examine their own beliefs. That would include looking at the totality of someone’s works, honest critiques of them by others, comparisons with what God’s word says, and more. I don’t expect people to take my word, but I do expect that if they want to get to the truth they will look at evidence in light of how they make judgments in the other aspects of their lives. To me, it’s like telling people not to take the clot shot. People don’t have to take my word for it, but they could at least do some research, pro and con, of their own. We shake our heads over those who will not listen and will not research, but the same thing happens with these “prophets.”
And before every single regular on this site jumps down my throat for implying Christianity is a cult, I’ll clarify this: Many of today’s cults are loosely based on Christianity. David Koresh, for instance, would cite scripture as an authority. You can certainly base a cult on Christianity; of course unless you just happen to be right and everyone else wrong, you aren’t doing Christianity right in the cult you are founding.

I really think we agree more than not, but somehow I am failing to communicate well with you. It’s like I have this entire library of thoughts and I can’t find the ones that would be of help.
I should just add that you used the word “sense” in a way that I would, meaning non-actual-sensory but as-if-sensory. It was stated to be an auditory or perhaps pseudo-auditory communication to the person to put on the brakes, even if not actually and literally auditory.
To me, the word “sensed” is more general and less literal than “heard” – even though we use the word “hearing things” for situations where people are not actually “hearing” anything. IMO “sensed” was a good-faith effort to state that this was something not literally sensed. (Yeah, that’s kinda crazy, but language is what it is.)

Yes, “sensing” can be an auditory voice or an inner voice, or a thought perceived by the consciousness as a voice to name a few options.
In the end, what our consciousness interprets as a “sense” has to come through the body.

About ten years ago, a couple of incidents “proved” [to others – not me ’cause I was already there] that God is real AND that He watches/helps us.
Driving down a main two lane country road when we saw a tree on the hillside [to the right] start to fall. It was shaking at first and I was about to brake when it fell with a crash UPHILL. Gravity should have caused it to fall right across the road but that’s not what happened.
Another time, I was with my son at a stop light during mild traffic. We were having a discussion and I turned my head to look at him while I was talking. He says [while I’m talking] ‘light’s green dad’. I looked toward the road but finished my sentence before moving forward. Then I said, ‘do you understand’.
At that point a car comes blasting into the intersection from the right and makes a skidding left turn. I would have just thought ‘how fortunate we were talking instead of moving’ because that car would have T-boned my little Datsun 260Z at 30+ MPH. The reason I know it was God intervening is because none of the other cars waiting on the green light started moving either. The only answer I see is that God prevented all the drivers [4 total] from starting to go.
That’s just two of dozens of such miracles throughout my life. 😇

I had an experience a little like that.
We were having a sort of wind storm, which was unusual where I lived. There was a church across the street, with a good sized pine tree in the grass between the sidewalk and the building. I’m pretty sure it was a pine tree. It was at least as tall as the two-story house with walk up attic.
I think the news said the wind was gusting to around 60+ mph, so I went outside and crossed the street, to check the roof of the house. I was standing right in front of the big pine tree, and it was swaying pretty good.
The roof looked fine, so I walked back across the street, and to the far end of my back yard to check the roof on that side of the house.
Then I walked back to the front of the house, and the big pine tree across the street had fallen right where I had been standing, not more than a few minutes earlier, definitely less than 5 minutes. It fell over from the base of the tree, leaving a big pile of dirt and exposed roots.
It was one of those moments that make you go hmm… 😁

I have seen old cars in people’s yards on cinder blocks. Makes for an interesting lawn decoration. Probably not very common where there’s a HOA.

Seems like not a very good idea to put a house on cinder blocks, though.
My dad, who retired as the #3 Engineer for the City of Los Angeles, built houses during my later childhood — the proceeds of selling these houses are what sent my sister and I to college.
The first big one used cinder blocks in its foundation — they were laid, reinforced with rebar, and concrete was pumped into their cells. This is not as easy as it looks and results in an expensive very solid foundation.
We never did that again because the amount of rebar and concrete embedded in the cinder blocks was pretty much the same as the rebar and concrete we could have had in wooden forms…..except then we could then have stripped the wood off and used it to build the rest of the house.

I had one experience like that.
I was driving back to college with one of my friends from high school (who had transferred to the same university). Much of the drive was on a two lane highway through twisty and hilly rural areas, with several one or two traffic light towns along the way.
The drive was 144 miles, and usually took about 2 hours to 2 hours and 20 minutes depending on traffic, if you were pushing it and passing other cars at every opportunity, which I always did, because I didn’t know how to drive any other way.
My record was 97 minutes, driveway to driveway, but that was in the middle of the night with practically zero traffic and blowing through those one traffic light towns at 110mph. That was the top speed of my 1980 Toyota Celica 5-spd at the time.
It sure was fun, makes me smile just thinking about it. I can’t even imagine how much fun it would have been in a real car, like an old GTO or a Corvette. I probably would have died for sure 😂
This particular time, we were driving my friend’s VW Jetta (5 speed). It was a fun car to drive, and he usually let me drive if we were taking his car between home and school, because he knew I just loved to drive. And his car was newer with much better performance and handling than my old Celica.
Anyway, we weren’t even halfway there yet, and I had a really bad feeling come over me. I kept driving for another 10 miles or so, and it just got worse and worse. Nothing physical, just an overwhelming feeling of dread, that something really bad was going to happen if I didn’t stop.
Nothing like that had ever happened to me before, and it has never happened since.
I pulled over on the shoulder of the two-lane highway and told my friend, you have to drive.
He was definitely surprised, because I always wanted to drive. I told him something wasn’t right, and I didn’t know what it was, I couldn’t explain it, but I shouldn’t be driving.
So we got out of the car and switched seats, and I felt better immediately. He drove the rest of the way to school, no problem.
It was probably nothing, but if your gut instinct, or whatever it was, is that strong about something, it seemed like a bad idea to go against it! 😁

For years, chemtrails have been sold to us as just a “conspiracy theory.”

Before we get into Kennedy revealing who’s behind the geoengineering project, we need to start this story with some crucial context.
Back in August 2024, before he became Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded to an X post about a “chemtrail pilot whistleblower.”
At the time, he made a bold promise: “We are going to stop this crime.”

I didn’t know who he was until @realDonaldTrump announced him. I was bitter. Burned out. Money grew out of the barter system. Money has been gold, silver, copper, obsidian arrow points, blankets…. Anything that is scarce, durable, portable and if possible dividable.
When people started storing their gold with goldsmiths and found that the receipts for that gold was as good as the gold during a transaction… Well that is when the trouble started.
The Goldsmiths figured out that people did not come back for their gold in large numbers. Therefore they could write receipts on the SAME gold a number of times and as long as no one caught on and most people left the gold stored with them, they could LEND OUT those receipts. I don’t know how they check the ‘purity’ of oil, but they must have a way to do it.
You can’t just roll into town with a supertanker full of oil, and exchange billions of dollars for it (however many equivalent barrels of oil a supertanker holds x agreed upon price per barrel) without verifying that the oil meets whatever grade it was represented as being.
Gold also has to be verified, because counterfeit gold has been a problem since forever.
Bitcoin is instantly verifiable at zero cost, it is not possible to counterfeit or dilute.
That’s one of the reasons Bitcoin is called ‘trustless’, because ‘trust’ is not part of the equation, no one is ever in a position to ‘trust’ the other party they are doing business with.
This is one of many aspects of Bitcoin which is superior to gold or oil.

Provided you trust the vault under all circumstances it can save you the headache of storing 100 ounces of gold (that’s per futures contract). If you don’t trust them, then you have to make other arrangements. And you’ll probably want to hire security when you get your hundred ounces of gold from them.

Yes, but if I understand correctly, if you take personal possession of one, that changes.
If you take delivery, i.e., personal possession, of a 100oz gold bar as a result of a futures contract, I don’t think you can resell it to any exchange without paying to have it melted, assayed and re-poured into a certified gold bar.
They’re not just going to give Johnny Q. Public $325K cash when he rolls up in his 1972 Ford Pinto with a 100oz bar of gold in the back seat 😁
And it’s not easy to take personal possession of a Futures contract on precious metals.
One of the yootoobers who specializes in precious metals commentary (Rafi Farber) tried to do it 3 years ago, as an experiment, to demonstrate the process, and he couldn’t do it.
He kept running into problems, because the exchanges don’t have processes in place to transfer individual gold or silver bars to the public.
He was trying to take delivery on a 5,000oz silver futures contract, which is 5 x 1,000oz bars.
1,000oz silver bars are not exactly 1,000oz, the bars can vary in weight quite a bit, so you buy whatever the actual weight is stamped into the 5 bars.
In Rafi’s case, the total amount of the Silver in his “5,000oz” silver futures contract was 5,101oz, but it could have been 4,900oz, or very close to 5,000oz, etc., depending on the exact weight of the five individual bars that were allocated to his contract.
He tried to ‘stand for delivery’, but they couldn’t make it happen.
I just looked for and found his final or summary video about the experience:

Yes, there’s some “slop” or tolerance; you’re not guaranteed to get the exact amount of the contract; it can be a bit more or a bit less, but you pay that price multiplied by the actual weight delivered.
This is because the big bars are simply poured into a mold and they can’t control how much is poured that precisely. So they just try to get as close as possible and stamp the actual weight into the bar after it has cooled and been tipped out of the mold. This makes it relatively cheap to make the bars. Melt, pour into mold, historically, ofttimes take a tiny bit out for assay. (This is in contrast to small, struck products like silver and gold rounds, 1 or even 10 ounce bars, and even coins…those are much more labor intensive to make and the planchet has to be meticulously weighed, which is a part of the reason they have a premium over spot. [Another part of the reason is spot is artificially set though it can’t wander too far off from what the actual street price is.])
As for actually getting it delivered, yes that’s painful; I’ve been aware of that. It’s even more entertaining on the gold side, where the contracts are for 100 ozt but the “standard” gold bar is roughly 400 ozt.
Now having watched the video.
Margin requirements exist so that if you take a gigantic loss (price goes down on something you buy, or up on something you sell) and you’re the typical person who just liquidates and eats the loss or pockets the gain, you have enough money to cover the shortfall.
However, this guy already had enough money in the account to cover the loss if silver’s price dropped to zero and then he decided to sell (as opposed to taking delivery). That’s because he had put in enough money to cover the entire value of the bar as bought, including 10 percent slop. So that’s just absurd.
But that’s the point.
I’ll stick to buying physical over the counter and being handed my lump-o-metal at the time. (Though I did do mail order once, from a company trusted to come through.)
As another side note, I actually got to heft a 400 oz gold bar, and (many years later) got to do the same with a 1000 oz silver bar. In both cases I don’t know the exact weights. But assuming an actual 1000 oz bar, that weighs just a smidge over 31 kilograms.
That would be interesting, I haven’t even seen one in person before 😂

Maybe, if there is a civilization-ending event, but at that point, whoever survives will be bartering goods for goods.

If civilization continues, if technology continues, then at a certain point, everybody defaults to Bitcoin.
Almost nobody in 1st world nations will want to spend Bitcoin, in the same way that almost nobody spends gold.
People mostly hold gold as an insurance policy, and as a hedge against inflation.
Bitcoin fulfills both of those roles, while also having extraordinary upside (capital gain) potential, and soon (already, in some places) Bitcoin will provide yield or income to the owner, whereas gold has storage fees.
People will also hold Bitcoin and borrow against it, in the same way people borrow against real estate.
Suppose you own a block of prime real estate in Manhattan. You don’t want to sell it, instead you want to generate perpetual income. So you borrow against it, put buildings on it, and rent the office space for income.
You get mortgage interest tax deductions on the loans, you get income from the rents, and you get continual appreciation of the property value over time.
As Michael Saylor frequently says, Bitcoin is prime real estate in cyberspace. And Bitcoin appreciates faster than any other asset in the world.
You can get a higher loan to value (LTV) on Bitcoin than on any real estate. The loan is (or will soon be) practically instantaneous, there is no appraisal required, no income statement required, etc. Because if you default on the loan, the Bitcoin collateral can be liquidated instantly by the lender.
So most people will want to save Bitcoin, they won’t want to spend it. This will make it more scarce, because it won’t circulate, like currency does.
People used to save silver coins, picking silver dimes and quarters out of their pocket change to keep them, because they were worth more than face value. Gresham’s law is a monetary principle stating that “bad money drives out good”.
When the silver was removed from U.S. coins in 1965, the fiat coins (bad money) drove out the silver coins (good money), because people hoarded the silver coins, and used the worthless fiat coins to transact business.
Gold is a greater store of value than silver.
Bitcoin is a greater store of value than gold.
If for no other reason (there are others), than because there is a finite amount of Bitcoin that can ever be produced — and most of it, 20 million of the 21 million total, has already been produced.
While there is more gold mined and added to the world supply every year.

Approximately 20 million have been mined so far, of which approximately 5 million have been lost, leaving 15 million Bitcoin currently in existence plus the remaining million, which will be mined over the course of the next 100 years or so.
Currently, there are 450 Bitcoin mined every day. In 2028 it drops to 225 Bitcoin mined per day. In 2032 it drops to 112.5 Bitcoin mined per day. In 2036 it drops to 56.25 mined per day, in 2040 it drops to 28.125 Bitcoin mined per day, and so on.
So it will take a long time for the last million Bitcoin to be produced.
So, effectively, the vast majority that will ever exist, already exists.

Short answer: zero
After the last Bitcoin is mined, when the total amount mined reaches the 21st millionth Bitcoin, around a hundred years from now if I remember correctly, there will be zero remaining Bitcoin to be mined.
Bitcoin mining will end, forever.
Whatever amount there is (i.e., 21 million minus however much has been lost, the current amount known to be lost is around 5 million), is all that is or ever will be available, in the world, for trade.
And since accidents will always happen, small amounts of Bitcoin will continue to be lost over time, just like people lose loose change over time. The difference is that the U.S. mint replaces lost coinage and worn out paper dollars, but there will be no means to replace lost Bitcoin.
This does not present a problem however, because Bitcoin is divisible into very small amounts, and as the price of Bitcoin (in dollars) goes up, the value of very small amounts goes up.
Once the last Bitcoin has been mined, the only way to acquire Bitcoin will be at the spot price on the exchanges, or through peer to peer direct transactions (e.g., you could do a job for someone in exchange for some fraction of a Bitcoin), or through proxies like the Bitcoin ETFs or the stock of major Bitcoin holding companies like MSTR, who in turn have to acquire their Bitcoin at spot prices on the exchanges.
So the only Bitcoin available for purchase will be Bitcoin held by individuals, corporations, governments, ETFs and Sovereign wealth funds.
The market will determine the price.
The price will have to be high enough that holders are willing to sell.
Since holders will be able to generate income plus enjoy capital appreciation from their Bitcoin, at very low risk compared to other investment options, and considering the finite and scarce nature of the commodity, I would expect the price in fiat dollars to be very high.
Many Bitcoin holders will never sell, because they have more to gain by holding than from selling.
Michael Saylor, of MicroStrategy (now renamed Strategy, but everyone still calls them MicroStrategy, and they have the same ticker symbol, MSTR) has said from the beginning that they will never sell their Bitcoin, and so far, they never have.
Eventually, MSTR will become a Bitcoin financial institution, a Bitcoin bank, deriving all of their corporate income from Bitcoin yield and lending activities, and from the appreciation in value of their Bitcoin holdings.
MSTR already has the largest amount of Bitcoin, by far, of any publicly traded company in the world, with over 550,000 Bitcoin.
Here are the top 5:
MSTR: 553,555 Bitcoin
MARA (Bitcoin mining co.): 47,531 Bitcoin
RIOT (Bitcoin mining co.): 19,223 Bitcoin
CleanSpark (Bitcoin mining co.): 11,869 Bitcoin

So MSTR has over 11 times the amount of the next highest company. No one else is even close.
MSTR has ‘first mover’ advantage. As a practical matter, it will be nearly impossible for anyone to catch up to MSTR, because to do so would push the price up.
Suppose the company with the second highest amount, MARA (Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc.) wanted to overtake MSTR.
They would have to buy 506,000 Bitcoin just to tie MSTR, so at today’s price (currently $94,239), it would cost $47,684,934,000 for MARA to buy enough Bitcoin to catch MSTR.
But even if they had that much money, they can’t just go into the market and buy 506,000 Bitcoin at the current spot price of $94,239 per Bitcoin, because that would cause an immediate supply crunch, pushing the price up 2x or 3x or higher very quickly, long before they were able to acquire 506,000 Bitcoin.
So to acquire 506,000 Bitcoin today would cost much more than than the current spot price x 506,000.
So from a practical standpoint, it is likely that only a sovereign nation state government could buy enough Bitcoin to surpass MSTR, because governments can print fiat currency at zero cost to themselves, and use it to buy Bitcoin, the hardest asset in the world.
If a government decided to do that (and they already are), they are not price sensitive like corporations or individuals. Their fiat is ‘free’ (to them), it’s like having a counterfeit money printing machine.
Anyone who does decide to sell their Bitcoin would likely be in a financial situation where he needed to sell, someone who needed to raise immediate cash, otherwise why would he sell?
A normal reason to sell an investment would be to reinvest in something else to generate a greater ROI… but what will generate a greater ROI than Bitcoin, or be able to do so with less risk?
If the answer is nothing, then why would anyone who has it, ever sell it?

It depends on how far they’d want to push.
Remember that a whole lot of life is denominated in “corrupt gains” — just look at the front of a greenback. First line is “Federal Reserve Note”; second line is “The United States of America” [as opposed to Zimbabwe]; third line is “This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.”
Your taxes — Federal, State, and Local — are payable only in such “corrupt gains”. So are your power, water, and phone bills. If you get Social Security or any other such, it’ll be paid in corrupt gains…….and, if that doesn’t worry you, look around at your neighbors.

Remember FREE markets are not the same as FAIR markets. Americans have been sold a bill of goods under the name of ‘Free’ Markets where we have zero tariffs but others have very large tariffs.
I had never heard of Serco and dread to think how many other subversive organizations are operating under the radar.
Years ago, a friend who works as a contractor for a fed agency told me that working for Serco had been a good job for her. So when they reached out to me with an opportunity as a Sensor Operator in Diego Garcia operating telescopes to produce reports on satellites, I explored it. While I am not a sensor operator or engineer, my past experiences helped me understand why they might think I would be a good fit. It felt like a job that could be important to the recipients of the data (our military). The pay range is low and if there’s hazardous duty pay, it is not stated. I chose not to respond and they have reached out twice. I mentioned it to our Steve and also to a former MITRE colleague who I trust in case someone else might know a person who would do well there. I had a lot of questions that aren’t answered in the job description of course, but it is enough that role is not for me and I tried to pass it along.

I personally have mixed thoughts about such things. I neither discount them nor accept them – definitely not quickly, and often never.
I get why the RCC studies these things for years, often never arriving at a final conclusion, and fully endorse and defend that thinking.
I think there are reasonable hypothetical explanations both ways, and ultimately the Q question “what are the odds?” is the central question of that debate.
That said, I think it’s more important that people have ways to express faith, be that faith in God, or in the things those people choose to believe (and have faith in) in science. In fact, I don’t see much difference in either form of faith. Both ways are good-faith (pun kept, but not originally intended) attempts to reasonably explain the universe, often in areas that defy full logical proof.
Reality and consciousness can be very strange. Some stuff needs to be kept as strange and unknown. We don’t have to say that we understand everything right now, because clearly over history that idea is always wrong.

The fact of it is interesting…and that’s all. It does not make Biggs a prophet or someone whom people should follow. The inaccuracies are concerning. The actual event was worse than his vision, for Trump was actually hit by a bullet. There’s a big difference between a bullet grazing by vs. actually hitting someone.

Call me a stickler, but I don’t believe God gives partially correct words to those who claim to be hearing from Him and thus representing Him by “imparting His word” to the people.
A number of people have premonitions of things that have come true. I know of someone who heard a voice tell her to put on the brakes of her car, and that saved her from being in a horrible accident or maybe being killed. But she is not a prophet and doesn’t claim to be one. I know of people who have had feelings that they should not take a planned trip and that sort of thing.
To clarify, the incident I described was not a matter of the woman not paying attention and slamming on the brakes at the last minute. She was driving behind a vehicle that was transporting some large beams. There were no traffic problems, and she was fully alert. Then she heard a voice tell her to brake, which she did even though she could see no reason for it, and the beams fell off the vehicle and would have hit her or crushed her if she had continued at her former speed. She was terribly shaken after the event, but grateful. I’ve heard her tell the story a couple of times, but it isn’t something she dwells on or takes credit for.
The history of the Church has a long tradition of devout believers that are warned in dreams (Joseph), visions (Daniel, John), and through other forms of supernatural revelation.
I personally hesitate to form strong opinions regarding accuracy due to a number of factors. First of all these forms of “knowing” come through something more like a dream state. And as such there are issues with how much is recalled, with the process where the person takes these dreamlike impressions and converts them into language, and what those reading/listening do with that language.
Your example of the premonition about needing put on the brakes is far more common that we think about most of the time.
The first step is that the woman “sensed” something. That may indicate that first there was a source of outside knowing. Then somehow that translated into her body as a “sensing.” Which was a strong enough sense that her neurological threat sense circuitry elevated the sense to a conscious level. At which point she would assess (look at the truck with a load) and decide whether to take action.
If at any point in the process she did not follow the above path, something else would have happened. Would we judge her to be faulty in her “prophesy?” if the load manages to stay on the truck long enough for her to pass it and go on down the road with it only falling after she was gone?
We are limited in our facts and our understanding always.
No, that’s not accurate, and I didn’t say that. She had no sense of danger or anything. She just heard a voice, out of the blue, tell her to put on the brakes.
IMO it’s not about the reader or listener. People can distort anything, and often do. It’s about what the person in question states and whether it is accurate and comes true.
Maybe you think that God imparts messages to people, only for them to have faulty recall and give a “message from God” that isn’t accurate…but I don’t. That Biggs had a dream is not in question; whether it makes him a prophet to whom God is speaking for the purpose of imparting messages to us, is in question, IMO.
What are we, the listeners, to gain by the earthquake prophecy? Should everyone in the earthquake corridor move away? Maybe they should get their lives in order, but so should every person on earth. Life is such that anything can happen at any time, and that message can be imparted in ways other than predicting catastrophic events.

That’s not what you said. You said she sensed something. We don’t normally talk about hearing someone speak to us as our sensing something. “Sensing something” usually indicates having a feeling that is outside the realm of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.

I agree with you that hearing a audible voice while alone in a car could be categorized differently than other types of more intuitive sensing. For example, a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach when you think about talking with a certain person that is up to no good, would be a different type of sensing. And certainly you could say that a dream is an entirely different sensing.
And yet, what I wanted to communicate on that point remains the same.
Once a person perceives some kind of information, no matter what the route, there a still a number of steps that will follow. They register it as input. They try to make sense of that input. They decide if they will take action about it (hit the brakes, tell someone else, etc.).
And then others who learn of the story will also take it in as input, try to make sense of it (or reject it), and decide if they will take action about it.
Please forgive me if I’ve lost the plot.
I can only give a little time to the site due to other obligations and I can’t always hold all the thoughts in one place.

Part of my frustration is because I am excessively weary of people making excuses for those who appear to be charlatans to me.
I don’t talk about my religious background, knowledge, and experiences here because I don’t want to get into religious discussions. But assuming that I just don’t know enough and therefore don’t understand prophecy is not accurate. So why am I discussing this? Because I see people believing in what false prophets say, and I see it as a danger. Also, I hate being lied to and conned, and that is what those people are doing.

Has anyone researched any of those people to see what negative things have been said about them or what discrepancies there might be in what they present? A good way to find things is to search for “their name debunked.” I just did that for “Brandon Biggs debunked.” Three minutes of hearing him speak gives me the willies. I wouldn’t buy a used car from him. Yet some Christians hang on his every word (and those of others), disregard any discrepancies in his “prophecies,” make excuses for him, and insist that people like him — and there seem to be many — are speaking words from God.
It’s unfathomable to me. And I either get blamed for pointing things out, or I get the persuasion technique, whereby there is a drip, drip, drip of material presented to try to make me understand. All of this while no one considers the points I bring up or answers the reasonable questions that I have about the basis for their beliefs.
No one ever says “that’s an interesting point of view,” or “I’ll look into that” or “I hadn’t considered that” or “thanks for bringing that information” or anything of the kind. No, it’s just in-your-face insistence that I’m wrong or not nice or not knowledgeable enough to understand. (Or, in some cases, a refusal to talk with me at all.) On the other hand, I have looked into the people in question, and what I’ve found is appalling.
And lest anyone thinks my feelings are hurt, they are not. It’s not about feelings or a personal need to be acknowledged. It’s about trying to have a normal,reasonable, truthful, logical discussion, which does include a degree of acknowledgment of ideas. But apparently that is not possible in certain situations.
It would be instructive if, instead of immediate pushback, people would take a step back and examine their own beliefs. That would include looking at the totality of someone’s works, honest critiques of them by others, comparisons with what God’s word says, and more. I don’t expect people to take my word, but I do expect that if they want to get to the truth they will look at evidence in light of how they make judgments in the other aspects of their lives. To me, it’s like telling people not to take the clot shot. People don’t have to take my word for it, but they could at least do some research, pro and con, of their own. We shake our heads over those who will not listen and will not research, but the same thing happens with these “prophets.”

David Koresh, for instance, would cite scripture as an authority. You can certainly base a cult on Christianity; of course unless you just happen to be right and everyone else wrong, you aren’t doing Christianity right in the cult you are founding.
That would appear to be what is happening here; people setting themselves up as prophets and managing to get others to “bite” at which point those others will defend them and any criticism of the “prophet” [including pointing out their failures] is going to be treated as heresy (at best).

Yes, I have often observed the basing of cults on some aspects of Christianity. It’s an excellent way to pull people in. Cults existing within purported Christianity itself is a part of my experience that I don’t discuss here. Maybe having seen it firsthand makes me more aware.

i use various methods to resemble functional, but under the water this duck is paddling like mad to just keep up. It’s part of the reason it’s so stressful to be an author. What I used to do in minutes now takes an hour.

I should just add that you used the word “sense” in a way that I would, meaning non-actual-sensory but as-if-sensory. It was stated to be an auditory or perhaps pseudo-auditory communication to the person to put on the brakes, even if not actually and literally auditory.
To me, the word “sensed” is more general and less literal than “heard” – even though we use the word “hearing things” for situations where people are not actually “hearing” anything. IMO “sensed” was a good-faith effort to state that this was something not literally sensed. (Yeah, that’s kinda crazy, but language is what it is.)
Funny world. In any case, you bear no guilt or shame about this, IMO. I think we need to be forgiving about the words other people use to communicate, frankly, if only to have a chance at understanding in real time.

Yes, “sensing” can be an auditory voice or an inner voice, or a thought perceived by the consciousness as a voice to name a few options.
In the end, what our consciousness interprets as a “sense” has to come through the body.
A bit of truth in the Star Wars Jedi training stories. While we would shrink back in horror at the though of “Listen to your feelings” being a good idea. It kind of works IF you are trained to take feelings and body senses as “data points” not dictates.

About ten years ago, a couple of incidents “proved” [to others – not me ’cause I was already there] that God is real AND that He watches/helps us.
Driving down a main two lane country road when we saw a tree on the hillside [to the right] start to fall. It was shaking at first and I was about to brake when it fell with a crash UPHILL. Gravity should have caused it to fall right across the road but that’s not what happened.
Another time, I was with my son at a stop light during mild traffic. We were having a discussion and I turned my head to look at him while I was talking. He says [while I’m talking] ‘light’s green dad’. I looked toward the road but finished my sentence before moving forward. Then I said, ‘do you understand’.
At that point a car comes blasting into the intersection from the right and makes a skidding left turn. I would have just thought ‘how fortunate we were talking instead of moving’ because that car would have T-boned my little Datsun 260Z at 30+ MPH. The reason I know it was God intervening is because none of the other cars waiting on the green light started moving either. The only answer I see is that God prevented all the drivers [4 total] from starting to go.
That’s just two of dozens of such miracles throughout my life. 😇

I had an experience a little like that.
We were having a sort of wind storm, which was unusual where I lived. There was a church across the street, with a good sized pine tree in the grass between the sidewalk and the building. I’m pretty sure it was a pine tree. It was at least as tall as the two-story house with walk up attic.
I think the news said the wind was gusting to around 60+ mph, so I went outside and crossed the street, to check the roof of the house. I was standing right in front of the big pine tree, and it was swaying pretty good.
The roof looked fine, so I walked back across the street, and to the far end of my back yard to check the roof on that side of the house.
Then I walked back to the front of the house, and the big pine tree across the street had fallen right where I had been standing, not more than a few minutes earlier, definitely less than 5 minutes. It fell over from the base of the tree, leaving a big pile of dirt and exposed roots.
It was one of those moments that make you go hmm… 😁

Cinder blocks have their uses….
My dad, who retired as the #3 Engineer for the City of Los Angeles, built houses during my later childhood — the proceeds of selling these houses are what sent my sister and I to college.
The first big one used cinder blocks in its foundation — they were laid, reinforced with rebar, and concrete was pumped into their cells. This is not as easy as it looks and results in an expensive very solid foundation.
We never did that again because the amount of rebar and concrete embedded in the cinder blocks was pretty much the same as the rebar and concrete we could have had in wooden forms…..except then we could then have stripped the wood off and used it to build the rest of the house.

I had one experience like that.
I was driving back to college with one of my friends from high school (who had transferred to the same university). Much of the drive was on a two lane highway through twisty and hilly rural areas, with several one or two traffic light towns along the way.
The drive was 144 miles, and usually took about 2 hours to 2 hours and 20 minutes depending on traffic, if you were pushing it and passing other cars at every opportunity, which I always did, because I didn’t know how to drive any other way.
My record was 97 minutes, driveway to driveway, but that was in the middle of the night with practically zero traffic and blowing through those one traffic light towns at 110mph. That was the top speed of my 1980 Toyota Celica 5-spd at the time.
It sure was fun, makes me smile just thinking about it. I can’t even imagine how much fun it would have been in a real car, like an old GTO or a Corvette. I probably would have died for sure 😂
This particular time, we were driving my friend’s VW Jetta (5 speed). It was a fun car to drive, and he usually let me drive if we were taking his car between home and school, because he knew I just loved to drive. And his car was newer with much better performance and handling than my old Celica.
Anyway, we weren’t even halfway there yet, and I had a really bad feeling come over me. I kept driving for another 10 miles or so, and it just got worse and worse. Nothing physical, just an overwhelming feeling of dread, that something really bad was going to happen if I didn’t stop.
Nothing like that had ever happened to me before, and it has never happened since.
I pulled over on the shoulder of the two-lane highway and told my friend, you have to drive.
He was definitely surprised, because I always wanted to drive. I told him something wasn’t right, and I didn’t know what it was, I couldn’t explain it, but I shouldn’t be driving.
So we got out of the car and switched seats, and I felt better immediately. He drove the rest of the way to school, no problem.
It was probably nothing, but if your gut instinct, or whatever it was, is that strong about something, it seemed like a bad idea to go against it! 😁

Frederick the Great was very likely bi-sexual or perhaps homosexual. They Only Love Us When We’re Dead
Let me explain why @PeteHegseth’s struggle cuts deep for so many of us.
He jokes about receiving 100% negative media coverage as @SecDef. Classic infantry humor. But behind the laugh is something serious, something warriors like me feel deep in our bones.
I didn’t know who he was until @realDonaldTrump announced him. I was bitter. Burned out. After years of watching the Army rot under leaders who didn’t believe in warfighters, I was ready to walk away. Then I saw his interview with @ShawnRyan762, and for the first time in years, I heard my own voice coming from someone else.
He was raw, honest, full of fire and frustration, saying what so many of us have felt and lived. I listened to The War on Warriors during my PCS from California to Texas and thought: maybe, just maybe, the tide is turning. But then came the media.
They didn’t see a man reborn from war, they saw tabloid bait. They didn’t see someone rise from the wreckage of combat, they saw a drunk, a womanizer, a threat to their fragile narratives. They ignored the mission, the movement, the message. They attacked the man. Because that’s what they always do.
And for the first time, I asked myself: is that how America sees me?
Because I drank too much. I chased women. I did reckless things to feel alive after brushing shoulders with death. Like many infantrymen, I struggled when I came home. Not because I was broken, but because I was human.
The media never tells that story. They only love us when we fight their wars, come home silent, and k*ll ourselves. That’s the Soldier they’re comfortable with. The one who disappears. But rise from that? Try to lead again? Speak your mind? Now you’re dangerous.
So no, I’m not asking the media to be nicer to him. I’m asking the American people to see through them. To understand what it means to walk through fire, stumble, and still choose to serve again, reborn. Because when you malign warriors for surviving the wars you forgot, don’t be surprised when we stop trusting you.
They went from “thank you for your service” to “how dare you not be perfect.” From hero to headline. They used our war, our pain, our sacrifice, and turned their backs the moment we showed our scars. That’s not criticism. That’s betrayal.
If the media actually cared about warfighters, they’d shine a light on our real battles: the suicide crisis, mold ridden barracks, a broken VA, commanders who punish truth tellers, and an IG system built to bury the truth. But they don’t. Instead, they spend their time tearing down Pete Hegseth for anything they can spin, forcing him to pause the mission just to swat away their lies. That’s not journalism. That’s sabotage. And we see it for exactly what it is.
And it proves what so many of us have known for years: they don’t hate Pete because he failed us, they hate him because he won’t fail warriors.
They don’t care about warfighters. They care about the narrative. And for the first time in years, the narrative is scared. We aren’t backing down.

A gentleman I know just lost his wife. I spoke to him today. She was diagnosed with cancer a month ago. She had cancer all over her body. They did many different scans and diagnostic tests, looking for a mass or source for the cancer.
They found NOTHING. Just cancer everywhere.
I know for certain she was vaxxed. This HAD to be a vaxx-caused cancer. This poor guy had the vaxx because of her (she was a diabetic).
I feel so sorry for him. I didn’t bring up the shot at all.
It looks like we may be losing our neighbor across the street. He is type II diabetic and is now on oxygen due to breathing issues. And yes he was vaxed. He has gone down hill very rapidly.
