About a week after getting sick (nasty cold, massive head congestion, minor coughing, lots of sneezing, eustachian tube pressure, after several days also minor “fever” of around 100 w/ body &/or joint aches) I noticed that I’d lost most of my sense of smell.

Even though my sinuses were well blocked before this was different & I would test on several items in the bathroom that I could smell before & this time there was virtually no scent so guessing 90-95% sense of smell gone.

I decided that I Might actually have some weird version of Covid so took 24mg IVM. Later that same day I noticed that my sense of smell was back, partially, so maybe I had 50-60% of that sense restored. However, later that night I was back to maybe 90% gone again. So the next day I upped the dose of IVM to 36mg & slept for some hours & noticed only a slight improvement to maybe 80% of my sense of smell gone.

However along with this sense of smell problem I developed a very strange head sensation. Whenever straining to stand up (my knees &/or back can give me issues) the body stress of beginning to stand brought this Massive pressure in my forehead. Once standing & doing other things almost all of the pressure disappeared. This happened a number of times during that day whenever I’d go to stand up.

Later there seemed to be a persistent pressure in the head, not exactly a headache, nor even the cousin of a sinus headache, even though my sinuses were still quite full. This odd pressure just kind of existed in the background.

At one point I was listening to various kinds of secular music, just to pass the time, but in the background, while reading various things online. However if I even thought about God or certain worship songs In My Mind, not even singing them mentally, this strange head pressure seemed to subside a bit. When thinking of other things the pressure returned to its former, increased state. I just made a mental note of these things for they were just so unusual & unprecedented for me.

I tried explaining this to my daughter, as we were comparing symptoms of our “colds” & basically came across like a crazy person because I was searching for a possible reason why I had this strange head pressure experience quite different from other fairly typical illness courses.

I recalled reading or seeing something about Bill Gates trying to rid people of “the God gene” or something, basically develop a way to cut people off from communion with the Lord. I wondered aloud if Covid was still being tweaked in the bio-weapons labs or if the changes to the “virus” were just mutations as happens in the wild. If being tweaked were they trying to get that GatesOfHell goal of diminishing people’s connection with God out there too?

It was pretty strange to have these head pressure changes just dependent upon what I was thinking about & to experience pressure relief when directing thoughts toward God but not even actually in prayer or in active meditation or worship.

It all kind of makes me go Hmmm.

Hubby had looked up symptoms of the newer strain of Covid going around & loss of smell was one of them. Queasiness was also listed & that’s something he had in his illness though he had no sense of smell loss. Our daughter’s daughter threw up the other day & both of them are dealing with lingering colds that we now wonder if they Might be covid…We think that my “co-morbidities” may be making it harder for me to shake the condition overall even though Hubby’s rendition, though shorter than mine, was much more intense in the degree of symptoms that were weighing him down. Weird times…
