Where to start….

This photo actually resembles my late dog, T. Talk about a pooch that created a mess in the middle of the night if you didn’t take the trash out.

Herbert Lay was in office July 1, 1968 – December 12, 1969. That was fifty two years ago. Nothing has changed.

He’s right. It’s true.

Wishful thinking?

[GASP] So…”Biden” didn’t mandate anything?

SHOCKER…NOT!

The Big Apple wakes up.

Oh, and about those outages at FB, etc.

https://twitter.com/4_04_Not_Found/status/1445100087512866816

Too bad, so sad.

As of this writing, it’s over. FB and its affiliates are back up and running.

Oh, well.

Something to remember, always.

Per the boss’s instruction:

I’d throw in a few Rockefellers and Rothschilds also.

Of course, this does not mean committing felonies, but standing up to the forces that want to tear this nation – and humanity apart. The very people XVII told us will be destroyed by the time this movie comes to an end are currently roaming the halls of power…supposedly. It’s a sickening sight.

And now for some mood music:

This video was two hours old when I copied and pasted.

Your weekly reminder to take the pledge, and if the non-mainstream people are to be believed, including Lin Wood, we will need to take this seriously very soon:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Message from General Flynn.

@RealGenFlynn

Be fearless and don’t wait for the next superstar to stand up and fight back against this health tyranny…each of us has our own inner strength to take the harder right path. In your communities, at your local city council meetings, school board hearings, zoning board meetings, everywhere elected officials reside, we should be in there ensuring they are doing what we the people voted for them to do. Get involved now, no more waiting for someone else to do it…it is our time, our moment in history and our obligation to the next generation and the one after that…Local Action has a National Impact

And now for the nitty gritty of the Q Tree 5 minute, stand up, Tuesday morning meeting version of the Daily Thread.

Ahem.

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And Auntie DePat’s requests as we are all, ahem, allegedly adults:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

Today, on the Feast of St. Faustina who gave us the image of Divine Mercy as given to her, all three readings are good.

JONAH 3:1-10

1Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying, 2“Arise, go to Nin’eveh, that great city, and proclaim to it the message that I tell you.” 3So Jonah arose and went to Nin’eveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nin’eveh was an exceedingly great city, three days’ journey in breadth. 4Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s journey. And he cried, “Yet forty days, and Nin’eveh shall be overthrown!” 5And the people of Nin’eveh believed God; they proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least of them. 6Then tidings reached the king of Nin’eveh, and he arose from his throne, removed his robe, and covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7And he made proclamation and published through Nin’eveh, “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; let them not feed, or drink water, 8but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and let them cry mightily to God; yea, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence which is in his hands. 9Who knows, God may yet repent and turn from his fierce anger, so that we perish not?” 10When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God repented of the evil which he had said he would do to them; and he did not do it.

PSALMS 130:1-4, 7-8

1Out of the depths I cry to thee, O LORD! 2Lord, hear my voice! Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! 3If thou, O LORD, shouldst mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? 4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. 7O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plenteous redemption. 8And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

LUKE 10:38-42

38Now as they went on their way, he entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house. 39And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. 40But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she went to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things; 42one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.”

That Psalm has a special place in my heart. I actually sang this once a couple decades or so ago.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast down to Hell Satan and all his evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

DEAR KAG: 2021-10-01

Welcome back to Wolf’s Pub. Friday at last! I’ve been hearing that we shouldn’t be buying stuff from China. Seems like it has become a conservative mantra lately.

That would be nice, but as a seasoned shopper, I have to tell ya, IT’S DAMNED HARD TRYING TO FIND STUFF NOT MADE IN CHINA.

Walmart is among the worst of the worst. They sold their corporate soul to China years ago, and every single Walmart is stuffed to the brim with CRAP FROM CHINA. Once in awhile Walmart pretends to care about American-made goods and American jobs by featuring some item that is actually Made in America.

They usually put it on the end cap or the middle of an aisle and that constitutes their virtue-signaling for the average sleepy shopper.

DISGUSTING. Walmart and the other multi-nationals left us for China long ago. They are content to let serfs and slaves produce the goods they provide to American consumers, because they don’t want to pay the worthy laborer for his hire.

They will tell you that Americans demand cheap goods and they are simply providing what consumers demand, but I don’t see it that way. If American companies paid good wages to produce their goods in America, then Americans could easily afford and purchase goods made here.

In fact, I would say a majority of Americans would happily pay more for goods that they knew were being produced in America, with quality materials and American know-how.

Is any American happy and content that upwards of 80% of our medicines are produced in China?

In fact, if you want to purchase something made in America, you have to seek long and hard. Amazon seems reluctant to tell us where many of the products they sell originate.

Well, I’m at this point: From Anywhere But China (FABC)

But we need help to get there. Pressure MUST be put on the companies that locate and do business with China. Something needs to be organized, like rolling boycotts of certain companies. Imagine if a large number of Americans stopped shopping at American Walmarts for two-week periods.

What if we stood outside the Walmart in our town and protested with signs once a month or so? We could educate the public about the slave labor in China and how Walmart couldn’t give a rip about the slaves that make the goods we buy, or the jobs they’ve taken away from us.

What if we all stopped shopping for weeks at a time at Amazon?

I have already stopped buying all my linens from other sources. I buy exclusively from Mike Lindell’s My Pillow. He’s also got an online presence with goods Made in America by Americans.

Corey’s Digs has another source for American-made goods. And GAB has been promoting a parallel financial economy.

Let’s put our money where our mouth is.

Christmas is coming. I think it’s time to purchase a boatload of My Pillow towels and linens for my liberal family. I know they will appreciate the quality of the items. 😊

AMERICANS CAN DO!

We’ve got to be more entrepreneurial. I know that we’ve all had good ideas for a business. We might know someone who only needs a little crowd-funding to get an American business up and running. Even now, even in this tyrannical takeover.

Let’s go the extra mile. Every little thing we can do will add to the effort. Victory is in our sights.

Americans can accomplish anything.

THE COVID RELIGION

It’s falling apart. The Covid Commandments change from one day to the next, and even the most devoted adherent is experiencing cognitive dissonance.

That damned mask is understood as a sign of unholy submission to the Covid Religion. The High Priest of Covidism (Fauci) has now deemed masks effective for school children. His Priestess (Walensky) has deemed it the First Commandment to take the Holy Jab.

Yet, Ivermectin and HCQ and the other therapeutics are winning the day. There are enough heretical brave and morally advanced doctors and other medical professionals who kept and keep speaking the truth every day.

Youtube/Google will rue the day they exposed their impotence by trying to shut down the dissemination of truth about vaccinations. We won’t even have to destroy you. You have destroyed yourselves.

Big Pharma will have to swallow the medicine of mass correction. Let us endeavor to help them purge themselves of the greed and diabolical evil that infects their body.

They don’t own our hearts, our minds, or our bodies.

HOUSE RULES

We don’t owe Big Pharma a thing. But around here we owe each other civility and perhaps even the benefit of the doubt. To review the rules go here. They keep us real.

The Utree is useful for cranky moods, and for reconvening when needed. And frankly, we need it for reconvening much more than the cranks.

TIME FOR REFRESHMENT

Today’s drink special is the Moscow Mule. Ah yes, that iconic cocktail that purported to begin with a copper mug from Moscow, a man trying to sell his ginger beer, and the owner of the Cock and Bull bar in Los Angeles.

As is common with alcoholic cocktails, its history is shrouded in mystery. Read here for three theories of the Mule’s genesis. I prefer the first, which actually includes a Moscow connection.

From this article:

“The Moscow Mule origin has been questioned time and time again. One theory speaks of a woman named Sophie Berezinski, a Russian-born woman attempting to immigrate to the United States in 1941. You see, Sophie was moving continents with little to no possessions to her name other than 2,000 pure copper mugs.

Sophie’s father was apparently the owner and operator of the Moscow Copper Co. in Russia. Sophie had the bright idea of copper-made mugs, and designed the original version herself. Her father saw to it that Sophie’s design was stamped out in the factory, and 2,000 copies of her mug were made.

At this time, America was seen as the land of opportunity. Selling 2,000 copper mugs in Russia was not something that Sophie or her father were capable of doing. They decided that Sophie and her husband would travel to the USA with the 2,000 mugs, and would do whatever they could to see to it they were sold.

The land of opportunity proved less than fruitful, and, after a few months of sitting on the thousands of mugs, Sophie’s husband became ready to throw in the towel. He gave Sophie the ultimatum of either finding a buyer for the mugs, or throwing them out once and for all.

Not ready to abandon her goal, Sophie set out on foot and began walking door to door through Los Angeles. She approached every bar, lounge and restaurant she could find, in hopes she could convince an establishment owner to invest in some or all of the copper mugs.

It was on this day that Sophie wandered hopefully into the Cock ‘n’ Bull; a pub in Ocean Park, close to Santa Monica and Venice Beach…”

Here’s a lovely site that is actually dedicated to the Moscow Mule, a cocktail originally made with Smirnoff vodka, ginger beer, lime juice and a copper mug.

Here’s a fun video about the Moscow Mule, and the bartender is already a bit toasty:

I had a taste of a Moscow Mule last night. Sweet, tart, refreshing. No wonder it has stood the test of time. A toast to Sophie from Moscow and her copper mugs!

ODDS AND ENDS

The Audits are all important, even though Covid sucks all the air out of the room. Denninger lays it out very succinctly here. It’s very short. A must read. Where do we go from here? Keep up with Seth Keshel and The Professor’s Record for good updates and inspiration. These warriors will never give up and neither shall we.

The “Three Warfares” doctrine from the CCP seems an awful lot like Lawfare.

If you want a good laugh, do watch this Jewish fairytale, An American Pickle. It’s streaming on HBO. Just a great comedy, with plenty of social commentary. Not a fan of Seth Rogan, but he does himself proud in this film. Lost count of how many times I laughed out loud. It’s about family and honoring family.

The image above is one drawn by the pride of Visitation Academy, one Mary Engelbreit, the queen of cute. Yours truly used to be a devotee of ME until she joined the Black Lives Matter plantation, and I promptly sold my collection of at least a couple dozen teapot Christmas ornaments. Since then, ME has waned for a number of reasons, but this illustration came to mind as the COVID saga has unfolded.

I knew specifically about this image because I have an old watch with it as the face. “Lives…Get One” and in the bowl are the names of OCCUPATIONS in addition to mother and father.

In an epic comment that we all need to have in our back pockets as the whole scamdemic unfolds further, TradeBait2 had this to say yesterday:

We learned from this “exam” that the NP was under orders to push jabs and not therapeutics. Which tells us her job is a bit more important to her than understanding and doing her best for us as people and patients despite us going to this physician office for the past 36 years – about 30 years before she joined them. We will go to our physicians or change next time.

On Monday, this popped into my FB feed courtesy of an uber liberal choir mate who just happens to be a hypochondriac:

Comments below the image posted included:

Yes, they are petulant children whining because they have to brush their teeth before bed. Grow the f*** up already.

I mean, yeah. If people had simply gotten on board a year and a half ago, we could have had this under control with masks and social distancing and then finally put it all to bed with the vaccines…but we can’t have nice things. So the people fighting safety measures are the reason we still need the safety measures. In other words, they are their own worst enemy.Ps. If it’s alright, I may just post this same article to keep the message going.

I feel the same way. You were able to, but didn’t want to take the vax? Then we shouldn’t have to take care of you when you catch ‘vid.

Well said, Mr. Pitts. And we ought to somehow discriminate against them, like we do smokers. Make them pay for holding the rest of us back from living normal lives.

I so agree … I am angry at the folks who whine about their freedom, or rights being taken away.when your, you’ve listened to the seat belt, the no smoking, the no shirt/shoes service, arguments and now the no vaccine. Tiring…

I remember seeing a comment on having to do with disdain for people who give up jobs rather than submit.

I’m not sure what happened to that, and there was a thread on some account I follow this morning that talked about the choice between a job and the jab was a red line crossed.

(Thanks to FG&Cs bringing SD’s information to the QT, we know that the government has no teeth in this matter, actually, and that it’s all smoke and mirrors for the kool-aid drinkers.)

The thing about that, though, is that I’ve been toying with a post on the matter of forcing that choice, and how it would effect Americans from a psychological standpoint.

Going back to ME’s illustration at the top, my favorite psychoanalyst marketing researcher, Clotaire Rapaille, talks about the phenomenon in American life that “what we do” is really, what is our occupation. What is our job. That is what identifies and defines us in our minds.

Forcing Americans to choose between who they are, and conformity and submission to the machine, really is an intrusion that goes too far.

Not that the people who are convinced that they did the right thing and have been shot up with experimental gene therapy and want the rest of us to do the same so THEY can get back to normal see it that way.

Oh, no. The people making a choice between freedom and tyranny are the problem.

And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:

Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone

Please, stock up on blanks for celebratory gunfire, be ready to swing from the chandeliers…and no messing with the nuclear weapons.

Please remember to remain locked and loaded and ready for trouble should the insurrectionists try to invade your space.

Those who have things to say that do not fit the generally accepted limits of “civil” discussion, Wolf has provided a venue known as the UTree. You’re welcome to visit over there and say hi to anyone hanging out over there. The “Rescue Thread” is also over there. In the event a rendezvous of the tree is needed, please check it out.

Today, on the Feast of the Archangels, a mix from the Scripture readings.

DANIEL 7:9-10, 13-14

9As I watched, Thrones were set up and the Ancient One took his throne. His clothing was snow bright, and the hair on his head as white as wool; His throne was flames of fire, with wheels of burning fire. 10A surging stream of fire flowed out from where he sat; Thousands upon thousands were ministering to him, and myriads upon myriads attended him. The court was convened, and the books were opened. 13As the visions during the night continued, I saw One like a son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; When he reached the Ancient One and was presented before him, 14He received dominion, glory, and kingship; nations and peoples of every language serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed.

REVELATION 12:7-12

7Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world — he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. 11And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. 12Rejoice then, O heaven and you that dwell therein! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

Do not be afraid to take a chance on peace, to teach peace, to live peace. Peace will be the last word of history” – St. Pope John Paul II

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome.

Please include: President Donald Trump, the Q team, our soldiers in the field, special forces, tactical units, first responders and those working behind the scenes…and any and all people with family members in the hospital, COVID or not.

Thanking everybody for your patience. Whether happenstance, coincidence, or enemy action, I’m dealing with some technical issues. In addition to those, and the obvious spiritual attacks, I am dealing with the obvious site stuff in what are best maintained as unobvious ways.

I suspect we struck a nerve.

A combined technical / spiritual / strategic response by all of us will prevent this attack from succeeding. Hold the line – bite the bullet – gird the loins – bite the lip – pray for guidance, discernment, and strength – whatever YOU believe keeps the ship aright for the moment. Everything else is lower priority.

In that spirit, the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel from Tuesday’s threads, and the Breastplate of St. Patrick, not to mention the Litany of Humility are favorites recommended by exorcists in spiritual warfare.

Part 3 is out:

On Monday morning, while doing the daily “catch up” with all accounts followed by me, this video from the Sunday morning church of the mainstream media kept appearing.

Nunes is anxious for John Durham to get on with it, just as the rest of us are. He’s expecting criminal indictments.

Also from the daily “catch up” on Monday:

EWillHelpYou

A point of order.

There is no “Trump’s CIA” or “Biden’s CIA”.

The Central Intelligence Agency is entirely corrupt and engages in horrific behavior no matter who is in office.

The extracurricular labels are designed to offer cover by means of political loyalty. A ploy meant to keep you focused off the true extent of the horror unfolding.

The CIA plotted to murder an innocent journalist and his family (including his infant children) who was exposing US war crimes. Discussions were had at the very highest levels of multiple administrations, and plans were drawn out for various scenarios.

There are no innocent hands there.
None.
Babylon must fall.

Word is that innocent journalist is Julian Assange. Zero Hedge writes:

A bombshell Yahoo News investigation published Sunday is being called the most important deep-dive exposé in years detailing the lengths the CIA and US national security state went to nab WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange while he was holed up at the Ecuadoran embassy. US officials were even having meetings discussing possible assassination of the man who exposed so many secrets of American military and clandestine actions abroad.

Dozens of US intelligence officials, including many who had served under the Trump administration, are now confirming the CIA considered “options” for kidnapping and/or assassinating Assange and that plans were mulled over at the highest levels of CIA leadership. “More than 30 former U.S. officials — eight of whom described details of the CIA’s proposals to abduct Assange,” are sourced in the report, which further reveals the CIA targeted journalists who worked closely with WikiLeaks, including Glenn Greenwald

WikiLeaks itself had publicized on multiple occasions reports of its legal and media team being victims of “professional operations” by CIA assets, and even provided surveillance footage of a “grab team” at various points camped outside the Ecuadorian embassy in London. We also learn that attempts to tie WikiLeaks to the Russian government was part of a CIA propaganda campaign tied to its ‘dirty war’ on the media entity.

Here’s how the lengthy and stunning investigative report begins:

In 2017, as Julian Assange began his fifth year holed up in Ecuador’s embassy in London, the CIA plotted to kidnap the WikiLeaks founder, spurring heated debate among Trump administration officials over the legality and practicality of such an operation.

Some senior officials inside the CIA and the Trump administration even discussed killing Assange, going so far as to request “sketches” or “options” for how to assassinate him. Discussions over kidnapping or killing Assange occurred “at the highest levels” of the Trump administration, said a former senior counterintelligence official. “There seemed to be no boundaries.”

The conversations were part of an unprecedented CIA campaign directed against WikiLeaks and its founder. The agency’s multipronged plans also included extensive spying on WikiLeaks associates, sowing discord among the group’s members, and stealing their electronic devices.

This was during a period of time that then CIA director Mike Pompeo began publicly calling WikiLeaks a “non-state hostile intelligence service” – which the report says was an attempt to introduce legal justification for targeting its members and close journalist associates.

Pompeo is being blamed by YAHOO. Think about that before taking it at face value.

Let’s see….

That’s more confirmation bias brainwashing, but okay.

And that’s not even the half of what they are up to.

Legislation goes to the Senate to die, so this might be just an exercise, but these people clearly do not care about the Second Amendment. Either that or their staffs didn’t bother to read the bill.

Unfortunately, yes.

I still like Kate Smith’s version of this.

As one of my voice teachers put it, she was a megaphone. Pure megaphone.

Last week’s message from General Flynn.

@RealGenFlynn

DEAR KAG: 20210924

“So, I think the real question in this crisis is what is there on our view of man and our world, and on the way in which we look on life, that makes us experience a lack of sensemaking.  In my opinion, I think we must conclude it is something in our materialistic, mechanistic view of man and the world that leads up to radical destruction of the real social structures and social bonds and the feeling that life makes sense.  If you believe that human beings are biological machines, then this implies, by definition, that life is senseless.”

Professor Mattias Desmet

Welcome back to Wolf’s Pub!

The Arizona audit report drops today. Let the fireworks begin. It feels like we’ve been trudging through a mucky swamp trying to get somewhere and we can see the shore but can’t quite get there.

I really hope that Maricopa blows the whole thing sky high. And it was really nice to see President Trump (our real President) take Texas Governor Greg Abbott to task about auditing Texas. We know Abbott and his cronies across the state don’t want audits because many Republicans will be implicated. This is not about Republicans and Democrats.

It’s about Good and Evil. It’s been enormously painful to see the depth of corruption in our nation’s institutions. Very, very painful.

IT’S A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM

One question that has dogged me since the whole Great Reset was kicked off with the CCP Virus, is how can so many people be so fooled for so long when the truth is being trumpeted across the width and depth of independent media?

Well, I ran across an interview that Reiner Fullmich conducted with Belgian psychologist and professor, Mattias Desmet: The Psychology of Covid-19 (Mass Formation and Totalitarian Thinking):

This is an utterly fascinating discussion regarding how large groups of people fall willingly into totalitarianism.

Light bulbs were going off in my head as I listened to this interview. Professor Desmet says four things must be present in order to facilitate the conditions for a people to go down the road of societal madness:

  1. A lot of socially isolated people,
  2. A lot of people who lack sense-making in life
  3. Free floating anxiety
  4. Free floating psychological discontent

These four conditions existed prior to Covid. Larry Turner writes about Professor Desmet’s interview here. He explains:

“If these four factors are present in enough members of any given society, Desmet says the society in question is at risk for the ‘crystallizing’ action of “mass formation” where large numbers of discontented, anxious, confused, and isolated people simultaneously and suddenly seize upon some single apparent threat and give it their entire attention and energy. The basic reason for this attention and energy seizure, according to Desmet, is that putting focus on a single apparent threat provides immediate and palpable relief from a constellation of the longstanding chronic pressures of social isolation, lack of sensemaking, and free-floating anxiety and discontent.  This mobilization of individual attention and energy against some single perceived threat unfortunately, according to Desmet’s explanation of the phenomena, segues easily into increasingly totalitarian government behavior.

Desmet believes that this is exactly what has happened and is happening to greater or lesser degrees all over the globe in response to the COVID19 virus pandemic. He posits that – judging from measures of high and increasing drug use, increased job burnout and economic dissatisfaction, and increasing social isolation – that prior to the arrival of COVID19 a significant number of humans were extremely uncomfortable with their lives. With the arrival of the virus, however, they were able to unload their longstanding unfocused anxiety and discontent onto the ‘COVID19 crisis’, thereby obtaining a welcome and immediate release from their chronic discomforts and tensions.  Desmet refers to the immediate feeling of relief felt by those previously heavily burdened with isolation, lack of sensemaking, and free-floating anxiety and discontent as a “mental intoxication”.

Larry Turner

Turner writes more about this phenomenon and Dr. Desmet’s explanation of it here.

What about those who don’t get caught up in the lies and mass formation? Desmet says:

“Usually it is only about 30% [of a population that gets] grasped in a mass phenomenon or hypnosis.  An additional 35-45% usually does not want to raise a dissonant voice in the public space because they are scared of the consequences.  So, usually about 70% who shut up – 30% because they are convinced by the mainstream narrative and 40% because they don’t dare to speak out.  And then there is an additional 20-25-30% who does not go along with the narrative and says it in certain situations.”

Professor Mattias Desmet

Those who are immune tend to be independent thinkers. Take a bow, guys.

Very worth your time to listen in. I definitely feel smarter after listening to the interview and reading about it. 😊

HOUSE RULES

Well, since we’re a pretty durned sense-making and cohesive group here at the Qtree, it only requires a reminder of the rules of this place. Go here to review.

If you don’t feel like fitting in for the moment here, the Utree is a welcome and present aid to run to blow off some steam. It’s also our place to reconvene during various attacks on this site, the server, and the hosting company. Prayers all around to keep us all up and running.

SACROSANCT BEER?

Since today’s opener features Professor Desmet, a Belgian, I thought it appropriate to offer a nice selection of Belgian beers today. Here’s a nice article that explains the seriousness with which the Belgians feel about their beer.

According to the author, Tom Green,

“In Belgium, beer is sacrosanct. Committed to tradition, Belgian brewers make some of the world’s greatest and most timeless beer. In the thousands of local pubs spread across the small country, beer is a unifying source of pride for the Belgian people.”

Tom Green

I watched the video embedded within the article that talks about the fact that there are over 1,500 different Belgian beers, which is amazing considering the small size of Belgium. These people are serious about beer. I mean, beer-making and beer-drinking is pretty much the national past-time.

When all this Great Reset has been beaten to death, I want to go bar-hopping in Belgium.

Meanwhile, I present the iconic (in America) version of Belgian beer: Blue Moon Belgian White

I’ve always found it very palatable. Read here how Blue Moon came to be. And for astronomy buffs, the next Blue Moon will appear in our skies on Friday, August 30, 2023.

BACK TO THE AUDIT

This picture of the Canary Islands, where that volcano has been erupting is some firework, eh? Intense video images here.

It has been said, repeatedly and truly, that if the 2020 election is not fixed, then 2022 and 2024 don’t matter. The audits in all 50 states will reveal that our votes have been stolen, are being stolen, and will be stolen if election reform is not enacted.

This type of propaganda is what we’ve had to fight: AZ State Sen: Results of sham GOP ‘audit’ will be a ‘clown show’

You know what? We aren’t going away. We aren’t giving up. The audits will be done. And the commie/globalists can take that and stuff it.

Dear KAG: 20210922 Open Thread

I did not expect today to be spiritual warfare day here at Wolf’s sanctuary, but a handful of things changed my mind.

The first was an article by Dennis Prager.

Here is something any honest person must acknowledge: As America has become more secular, it has become less free.

Individuals can differ as to whether these two facts are correlated, but no honest person can deny they are facts.

It seems to me indisputable that they are correlated. To deny this, one would have to argue that it is merely coincidental that free speech, the greatest of all freedoms, is more seriously threatened than at any time in American history while a smaller-than-ever percentage of Americans believe in God or regularly attend church.

The United States became the freest country in the world, the sweet land of liberty, the recipient of the Statue of Liberty, the country whose flag freedom fighters around the world have often waved. This freedom was rooted in the deeply religious nature of its founding ideals. America was founded by God-centered individuals to be a God-centered country. The claims that America’s founders were mostly deists and that America was founded to be a godless secular society are not true.

The Couch Commando protests that “less Christian” is what Prager was aiming for (how that works given that Prager isn’t Christian, I’m not sure), but the kicker comes later in the piece.

The Founders linked freedom inextricably to God. That is why the inscription on the Liberty Bell is from the Bible: “Proclaim Liberty Throughout All the Land Unto All the Inhabitants thereof.” The verse comes from Leviticus, the third book of the Bible. The Founders knew their Bible. The present adult generation of Americans is more ignorant of the Bible than any in American history. And most young people know even less. I suspect that most students at Harvard could not identify Leviticus, let alone cite any of its verses.

The bell was named “the Liberty Bell” by the abolitionists. Their opposition to slavery was based entirely on the Bible. Their motivating principle, “All men are created equal,” came from the Bible. They did not get it from the ancient Greeks, who would have scoffed at such a notion.

Freedom permeates the Old Testament: The Bible begins with the story of Adam and Eve, a story about man’s assertion of his God-given freedom … freedom even to disobey God. The primary story of the Old Testament is the Exodus, a story about God liberating slaves.

For the Founders, the most obvious reason freedom was dependent on faith in God was that only if God is regarded as the source of freedom could men not rightfully take it away. If men are the source of the freedom, men can rightfully retract it. This is precisely what is happening today. Freedom is being destroyed primarily by those who scorn the idea that freedom comes from God.

For those among us who do not believe, this can be irritating as a concept, but is it really? That tyranny is a feature of man, not God, and that freedom does include the option to ignore God’s commands.

The rule that the end of religion means the end of freedom does not mean that secularism would not be a welcome replacement for totalitarian theocracies such as Iran. But eventually that, too — a secular Iran — would lead to tyranny. Wherever God is delinked from freedom, freedom ultimately withers. When Christianity died in Europe, it was replaced by fascism, Nazism and communism.

And in the United States, it was replaced with consumerism. In the spiritual realm, that is known as materialism.

This popped into my feed.

As did this:

Pope Benedict XVI@P_BenedictXVI·

Be afraid neither of the world, nor of the future, nor of your weakness. The Lord has allowed you to live in this moment of history so that, by your faith, his name will continue to resound throughout the world. — Benedict XVI

This describes half the people in music I know.

Yesterday was the feast of the Korean Martyrs. There are two options for readings, and some are appropriate here:

LUKE 8:16-18

16“No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, that those who enter may see the light. 17For nothing is hid that shall not be made manifest, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light. 18Take heed then how you hear; for to him who has will more be given, and from him who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.”

WISDOM 3:1-9

1But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment will ever touch them. 2In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be an affliction, 3and their going from us to be their destruction; but they are at peace. 4For though in the sight of men they were punished, their hope is full of immortality. 5Having been disciplined a little, they will receive great good, because God tested them and found them worthy of himself; 6like gold in the furnace he tried them, and like a sacrificial burnt offering he accepted them. 7In the time of their visitation they will shine forth, and will run like sparks through the stubble. 8They will govern nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord will reign over them for ever. 9Those who trust in him will understand truth, and the faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and mercy are upon his elect, and he watches over his holy ones.

LUKE 9:23-26

23And he said to all, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake, he will save it. 25For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? 26For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

And, actually two from today’s Mass readings.

EPHESIANS 4:1-7, 11-13

1I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love, 3eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. 7But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 11And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;

MATTHEW 9:9-13

9As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax office; and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. 10And as he sat at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples. 11And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13Go and learn what this means, `I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

DEAR KAG: 20210917

Control healthcare and you control the people.

Saul Alinsky

Friday is here and Wolf’s Pub is open! We’re doing a great business in the back of the pub with all the dangerous drugs around nowadays…HCQ, NAC, and Ivermectin. People are dying for ‘em.

Just some dark humor.

Chartreuse

ALCHEMY AND FAUCI

At the front of the pub, is our drink special for today, which comes from a centuries’ old manuscript dedicated to giving long life. I’d say there’s some alchemy going on there (see below). Considering that the plague continued to find victims centuries after the Black Death, it is no wonder that mankind was casting about for health treatments and elixirs of life.

I found this fascinating article about a popular tract that details how to treat for the plague. Honestly, Dr. Fauci would be most comfortable with dispensing their advice today, I think:

“This treatise tells you everything you need to know to avoid getting sick during the next pandemic. It opens by telling readers how to avoid catching the plague:

If an outbreak of the plague has happened again, you can take the following steps to protect yourself. Don’t take baths and don’t sweat; both will open the pores of your body and let the venomous air get in. Avoid lechery too because that also opens the pores and lets the illness in. Don’t eat much fruit unless it is sour or new. Don’t eat garlic or onions or leaks or anything that is going to get you in a heat. Drink lots of fluids: cold water is best with vinegar of barley water.”

The treatise then informs readers how the sickness enters and impacts the body:

It explains that every person has three principal parts: the heart, the liver, and the brains. Each part has a place in the body where it expels waste: the heart under the arms, the liver between the thighs, and the brain under the throat. The sickness comes into the body through the air, makes its way to the blood and attacks the heart, then the liver, then the brains. Each part of the body will attempt to expel venoms through the cleansing part, but if it can’t, those places will break out in plague boils.”

But first, let’s recap what the medical/pharma people have been up to, in memes of course:

From Kanekoa the Great

Now I ask you, who is more learned: an 18th century group of monks making an herbal elixir for long life, or Dr. Anthony Fauci, that lying fink who tells medical lies as easily as he breathes? On to the elixir, which probably has more medical expertise in every bottle than Fauci has had in four decades.

CHARTREUSE, ELIXIR OF LONG LIFE

Today’s special is Chartreuse, yet another monk-inspired liquor. The history of this famous liquor reads like a medieval mystery. It is made by Carthusian monks from a closely-guarded secret manuscript that details a very complex, almost alchemical recipe of 130 herbs. According to the official website:

“The Order of Chartreuse was more than 500 years old when, in 1605, at a Chartreuse monastery in Vauvert, a small suburb of Paris, the monks received a gift from Duc Francois Hannibal d’ Estrées, Marshal of King’s Henri IV artillery : an already ancient manuscript from an “Elixir” soon to be nicknamed “Elixir of Long Life”. This manuscript was probably the work of a 16th century alchemist with a great knowledge of herbs and with the skill to blend, infuse, macerate the 130 of them to form a perfect balanced tonic.
In the early 17th century, only a few monks and even fewer apothecaries understood the use of herbs and plants in the treatment of illness.
The manuscript’s recipe was so complex that only bits and pieces of it were understood and used at Vauvert.”

The classic Chartreuse gets its unique green color from the chlorophyll in the herbs. The video below has the history as told by two representatives involved with sales of Chartreuse.

Here’s another shorter video review of Chartreuse, which because of its alcohol content soon became more than a medicinal. The original Chartreuse was 69% ABV. Today it is 55% ABV.

There’s a plethora of cocktails that include Chartreuse, but if you enjoy the pungent complexity of herbs, with honey tones, you will enjoy this special liquor straight up or on ice. I hadn’t tasted Chartreuse in decades, so I indulged in purchasing some the other day. Wow, I’ve been missing out.

Today, there are only two monks at a time who know how to create Chartreuse. They must travel in separate cars when they go to work.

THEY ARE TRYING TO KILL US

The Conservative Treehouse details in two articles, here and here, how the federal government has overtaken dispensing life-saving monoclonal antibodies in ways that punish states with lower vaccination rates.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is having none of it.

“Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded directly to the White House effort to kill Florida residents by withholding previously agreed shipments of Monoclonal Antibodies.

During a press conference earlier today, Governor DeSantis outlined the issues Florida is facing after the Biden administration instructed the federal offices of HHS to punish the successful therapy and recovery efforts of the sunshine state healthcare system.  DeSantis outlines the purchase agreement that Biden intentionally violated and also the issues created by the federal government now blocking direct purchasing of treatment from the manufacturer.”

HOUSE RULES

There’s so much evidence of medical malpractice and outright murder of patients that it is destroying the medical establishment for a generation. The ideological rot has destroyed any conscience they might have had. The LOVE OF MONEY is the root of ALL evil.

I bet they won’t be enjoying their filthy bonuses much in the future.

But here at the Qtree, we are a community of individuals who think life is precious and worth saving, and I have to tell you, I am so proud to be among y’all. I just love all of you. You’ve made these “interesting times” bearable.

If you’re new here, a review of the House Rules will give you an idea of why we stick together through thick and thin, through squabbles and disagreements. Wolfmoon has provided the Utree for us in case someone needs to duke it out, but mostly it’s a great place to reconvene if/when needed. It’s proven indispensable.

OUR ENEMY, BIG GOV CORPORATE MEDIA

NPR got caught with their pants down telling more lies about hospital bed availability in southern states. It’s beyond ridiculous at this point.

From the article:

“Though the Washington Post quoted a hospital spokesperson as saying such situations were an “ongoing problem” in Alabama hospitals, not one person from the hospital confirmed the daughter’s story about the supposed capacity issues at the 43 ICUs. It wasn’t confirmed for the NPR report nor the WaPo report.

At the very least here, NPR deceived readers by making them believe two things, the first one being that DeMonia was never admitted to the Cullman hospital (false) and the second one being that the hospital couldn’t admit him due to being overwhelmed with COVID patients (also false). The Washington Post earns no brownie points for their story, either, which wasn’t much better.

And to this day, no one in any official capacity will confirm the 43 ICUs claim.”

ODDS AND ENDS

I really don’t know what to think about the Sussman indictment. I’ve gotten so cynical that I’m gonna let some time go by and events unfold before I get all giddy. Articles about it here and here and here.

Corey’s Digs with COVID RESOURCES. Excellent. Pass around to everyone.

Why all the hysteria to get people shot up?

I agree with this from Dr. Simon – “The longer we have a high proportion of the global population that remains unjabbed, the easier it is to see the effects on the treatment group, which is the jabbed people. Their main objective is to get rid of the control group.”

Why aren’t proponents for vaccines insisting on liability for manufacturers? These companies are making unimaginable sums of money selling a product and they are exempt from any consequence when death or serious injury occur. If they are truly safe… mandate liability.

Auntie DePat’s requests as we are all, ahem, adults, not uncivilized pygmies:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

One other vital note:

Please, review these rules that our host Wolfm00n outlined toward the beginning of the growth of the tree itself. it won’t take long.

1In thee, O LORD, do I seek refuge; let me never be put to shame; in thy righteousness deliver me! 2Incline thy ear to me, rescue me speedily! Be thou a rock of refuge for me, a strong fortress to save me! 3Yea, thou art my rock and my fortress; for thy name’s sake lead me and guide me, 4take me out of the net which is hidden for me, for thou art my refuge. 5Into thy hand I commit my spirit; thou hast redeemed me, O LORD, faithful God. 14But I trust in thee, O LORD, I say, “Thou art my God.” 15My times are in thy hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and persecutors! 19O how abundant is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for those who fear thee, and wrought for those who take refuge in thee, in the sight of the sons of men!

Do not be afraid to take a chance on peace, to teach peace, to live peace. Peace will be the last word of history” – St. Pope John Paul II

Just like Carlin, the way to get the truth out these days is comedy and satire.

And…if you have entirely too much time on your hands, or have homeschooled kids in the vicinity, this guy is out of Springfield, Massachusetts. He usually just unclogs drains in massive downpours, but does unclog culverts blocked by beavers. This time, he found the lodge and was warned to stay away.

Dear KAG: 20210914 Open Thread

Cover image, origin unknown.

Today, September 14, is the anniversary of the second/third of the momentous events that happened in American history this week in September: the Battle of Fort McHenry during the War of 1812, and the writing of the poem, “The Star Spangled Banner” which became the text of our national anthem in the succeeding decades.

Why was the Battle of Fort McHenry so significant?

Because the flag, the American flag, did not fall and flew through the night.

September 13. The Americans assemble 10,000 men and 100 cannon astride the Philadelphia Road, blocking the British advance toward Baltimore. This is a far stronger defense than the British expect; they are outnumbered two to one. Naval support will be required to dislodge the American forces, and Fort McHenry will have to be eliminated.

The 1,000 Americans at Fort McHenry are commanded by Maj. George Armistead. In the early morning of September 13, British warships begin their bombardment. Because of the shallow water, Admiral Cochrane is unable to use his heavy warships, and instead attacks with the bomb vessels HMS Terror, Volcano, Meteor, Devastation, and Aetna. These ships fire exploding mortar shells at high angles into the fort. Joining them is the rocket ship HMS Erebus, which launches the newly invented Congreve rockets. The ammunition used by these ships later inspire Francis Scott Key’s famous lines “and the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air.”

Initially the British fleet exchanges fire with the fort’s cannon, but soon withdraw out of range. For the next 27 hours, in driving rain, the warships hammer the fort. More than 1,500 cannonballs, shells, and rockets are fired, but only inflict light damage thanks to fortification efforts completed before the battle. During the night, Cochrane orders a landing party to slip past the fort and attempt to draw troops from the force opposing Brooke, but other than diverting some fire from the fort, this proves unsuccessful.

September 14. That morning the American defenders lower their battered storm flag and raise the large, 30 by 42-foot garrison flag that Major Armistead ordered a year earlier from local flag maker Mary Pickersgill. The garrison flag is raised every morning at reveille, but on this day—September 14, 1814—its presence has special significance.

All those rockets and mortars took their toll on the original Star Spangled Banner. When I first saw it hanging in the main entrance of the Arts & Industries Building (now the Museum of American History) of the Smithsonian in Washington, the flag was still relatively whole. In the succeeding decades, the gunpowder has eaten a good percentage of the material leaving the magnificent flag that flew over Fort McHenry in tatters, a testimony to the fight that night.

Star-Spangled Banner Manuscript on display in Star-Spangled Banner chamber at NMAH 6.11.14.

More recent photographs are even more depressing.

As to the poem it inspired, Baltimore lawyer Francis Scott Key was one of several prominent Americans being held on a British ship that night to witness the battle.

The lyrics come from the “Defence of Fort M’Henry”,[2] a poem written on September 14, 1814, by 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Key was inspired by the large U.S. flag, with 15 stars and 15 stripes, known as the Star-Spangled Banner, flying triumphantly above the fort during the U.S. victory.

The poem was set to the tune of a popular British song written by John Stafford Smith for the Anacreontic Society, a men’s social club in London. “To Anacreon in Heaven” (or “The Anacreontic Song”), with various lyrics, was already popular in the United States. This setting, renamed “The Star-Spangled Banner”, soon became a well-known U.S. patriotic song. With a range of 19 semitones, it is known for being very difficult to sing. Although the poem has four stanzas, only the first is commonly sung today.

“The Star-Spangled Banner” was recognized for official use by the United States Navy in 1889, and by U.S. president Woodrow Wilson in 1916, and was made the national anthem by a congressional resolution on March 3, 1931 (46 Stat. 1508, codified at 36 U.S.C. § 301), which was signed by President Herbert Hoover.

The tune is actually a drinking song which would explain why anyone thought an octave and four was a tessitura the entire population could actually sing. (For me, it crosses four registers out of eight.)

O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
‘Tis the star-spangled banner, O long may it wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion,
A home and a country, should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave,
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation.
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: ‘In God is our trust.’
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave![54]

An additional verse was added at the start of the Civil War, the conflict that gave us the Battle Hymn of the Republic.

When our land is illumined with Liberty’s smile,
If a foe from within strike a blow at her glory,
Down, down with the traitor that dares to defile
The flag of her stars and the page of her story!
By the millions unchained, who our birthright have gained,
We will keep her bright blazon forever unstained!
And the Star-Spangled Banner in triumph shall wave
While the land of the free is the home of the brave.

So, for one day, no COVID, no audits, no rumors, no statistics, no letdowns, just a little history.

Okay, maybe one meme.

Your weekly reminder to take the pledge, and if the non-mainstream people are to be believed, including Lin Wood, we will need to take this seriously very soon:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

And now for the nitty gritty of the Q Tree 5 minute, stand up, Tuesday morning meeting version of the Daily Thread.

PHILIPPIANS 2:6-11

6who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. 9Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Amen.
