This Easter Monday Open Thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA world.

Wait…’Easter Monday’?

Yes, Easter Monday. It’s a thing. It is referred to as “Easter Monday” on the White House site that gives us a history of the annual Easter Egg Roll:

The White House Easter Egg Roll officially dates back to 1878 and the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes, but first-hand accounts suggest that informal festivities began with egg-rolling parties under President Abraham Lincoln. Starting in the 1870s, Easter Monday celebrations on the U.S. Capitol’s west grounds grew so popular that President Ulysses S. Grant signed a bill that banned the rolling of eggs on Capitol grounds, citing landscape concerns. [emphasis mine]

In 1878, a group of bold children walked up to the White House gate, hoping to be allowed to play egg-rolling games there. President Hayes told his guards to let the children enter, and soon Easter Monday on the White House grounds became an annual tradition. President Benjamin Harrison added music to the festivities in 1889 with the United States Marine Band.

These are the traditional wooden Easter Eggs that will be given out this year:

Today, the 141st White House Easter Egg Roll will be hosted by First Lady Melania Trump and President Donald J. Trump.

The Revenge Business

This topic is a conversation about revenge (vengeance) as seen from the perspective of those who desiring to live in a way that is pleasing to the King of all the universe–as revealed in the Hebraic and Christian traditions.

This is an exercise that all can join in on since we are not adopting a belief system–we are simply asking questions of a known set of writings and the historical response to those writings.

There is a certain sweetness to the thought of revenge.

❝You’ve got an over-developed sense of vengeance.❞

❝I want my father back.❞

“Is very strange. I have been in the revenge business so long, now that it’s over, I don’t know what to do with the rest of my life” — Inigo Montoya

And also a certain emptiness to the consummation of revenge.

To the Christians at least, may I ask, if we believe we are subjects of a Heavenly King, whose symbol is a lamb slain before foundation of world–what place does revenge hold in our lives?

If this Heavenly King indeed has been revealing himself to us from the creation of our species and the record has been preserved through the descendants of Abraham, and has been adopted by Christians through the written scriptures, it would be fair to explore both those writings and traditional reflections on them in pursuit of the answer to this question. (Read early teachings here.)

I’m not going to offer any long commentary here, just quotes from the scriptures. I find meditating on these words to be difficult. I don’t want my enemies to get away with their evil deeds (God says they won’t), but somehow it would seem “better” if I could just see they were getting what they deserved … right now.

And so this topic is difficult. But appropriate perhaps for holy week this year.

How The Wolves Saved Yellowstone

Thank God For Apex Predators!

God in his infinite wisdom, created a natural order to the lands that we are blessed to live in. And we have learned that the Apex Predator is one of his most important creations. The Wolf is one of His most perfect apex predators.

We didn’t know how important wolves are until, in our ignorance, we hunted them to near extinction. This brief video gives you a condensed version of the story of How Wolves Saved Yellowstone:

When a Wolf pack brings down an Elk, that kill ends up feeding as many as 50 other species, from eagles to insects. Once the pack has fed…they abandon the kill and all the other species come in to eat what is left.

After the Wolves were gone from Yellowstone, the deer and elk became overpopulated and they devastated the vegetation in the valleys and on the riverbanks. Aspen and willow trees did not regenerate because the elk ate the seedlings. Beaver left…as well as other species. Bird populations disappeared. The bare riverbanks collapsed and the river became wide and shallow. This had a devastating effect on the fish population.

All this has gradually changed since the Wolves have been restored in Yellowstone.

This View From The Tippy Top Saturday Open Thread is VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA world.
If you are new to the Q world, you may not know this story…it happened about a year ago: The Anons asked Q if he would get Pres Trump to say the words “tip top” in a sentence…as a ‘proof’ that Q was really who he says he is.
So, on the day of the White House Easter Egg Roll, the President went out on the veranda and said a few words…and he included the words “tip top” but then he also added a “tippy top” for good measure.

And that is not really an ‘Easter Bunny’ standing there beside our President…that’s The White Rabbit, from Alice in Wonderland fame, with glasses and that textbook astonished look on it’s face. Our President knew what he was doing…Q has used a lot of references to “follow the White Rabbit”.

Coincidence? …I don’t think so.

In the second picture, still on the White House veranda…Pres Trump has grasped the White Rabbit’s paw and is holding it up, in a sort of ‘let the party begin’ gesture.
Video Image: It is a storm-tossed sea with giant waves pitching to and fro, and there is a Viking ship doing its best to survive in it. To make matters worse…there are giant tentacles of an enormous octopus reaching up out of the sea, on either side of the ship. In the distance behind the ship, there are flames of something burning. But the ship is well made and you get the sense that it will emerge unscathed from the dangers.
Bottom Image: It is the base of a huge majestic Tree, with a lovely carved door. The door is arched at the top with a carved frame around it. There is a wide path of stone steps leading up to the doorway. Lush green growth surrounds the Tree, with mounds of different flowers growing up from around the Tree’s massive, exposed roots. Round lanterns are hanging from a few of the Tree’s branches, giving off a soft light. Butterflies are visiting the flowers…and a long-tailed pheasant is flying up from a mound of flowers.

The Great Awakening (‘Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but, more importantly, aid in the construction of a vehicle (a ‘ship’) that provides the scattered (‘free thinkers’) with a ‘starter’ new social-networking platform which allows for freedom of thought, expression, and patriotism or national pride (the feeling of love, devotion and sense of attachment to a homeland and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment).
When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
“Free thought” is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.
Difficult truths will soon see the light of day.
