Pride . . . our Downfall through the Ages

The first recorded sin in time is the devil’s fall from grace in the following passage, prophetically directed at the king of Tyre, but apparently meant to include an angel, namely Lucifer:

Isaiah 14:12–15: How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.

Satan’s sin was pride. He was so beautiful, so wise, and so powerful as an angel that he began to covet God’s position and authority. He chafed at having to serve God and grew angry and rebellious. He did not want to serve, he wanted to be served; he, as a creature, wanted to be worshiped. How starkly contrasted to our savior Jesus Christ, who came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many (Mark 10:45).

Some passages in Proverbs talk about the sin of pride and what effect it produces.

Proverbs 16:18: Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 11:2: When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom.

Proverbs 18:12: Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.

Pride literally went before the fall, both the fall of Satan and the fall of man. Pride causes shame, loss of wisdom, destruction, and ruin. If one were to summarize what actually happened as Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden, wouldn’t these passages describe their mental and physical condition exactly? The shame of committing sin against God, physical disease, pain and death looming on the horizon, loss of fellowship with God, and the fight to eke out a living from the cursed ground—all these are the outworking of the sin of pride.

Was Adam and Eve’s sin just disobedience by eating the forbidden fruit? Well, yes, that was the physical act that followed what had already occurred in their minds and hearts. But let’s take a closer look at the passages in Genesis to see what the real sin was and where it started.

Genesis 3:1–7: Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’” Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

Genesis 3:12–13: Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.” And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

First Satan questioned God’s word, then he openly lied to Eve, contradicting what God had said. Then he used the tantalizing bait that humanity could be more like God by having their eyes opened, knowing things they currently didn’t know. The real heart of the situation is the statement that Eve thought the tree was good for food and desirable to make one wise. Why would she think this? God himself had told Adam (and either God himself or Adam had told Eve) that eating from the tree would lead to death. Why would she (and subsequently Adam) accept the word of a talking serpent over the word of God? Only doubt of God’s word and subsequently God’s motives could have led to this tragedy.

They didn’t just ignorantly decide to eat the fruit, nor did they eat it because “the devil made them do it.”

They didn’t just ignorantly decide to eat the fruit, nor did they eat it because “the devil made them do it.” Satan’s outright lies and cunning half-truths brought something to the surface of Eve’s mind that fateful day. She realized that to “be like gods” meant not having to serve God, it meant being equal to God. It meant that she felt as if God had deliberately kept her and Adam in the dark regarding their “divine potential.” Why should they tend God’s garden in Eden when they could be as gods themselves? Why should they have to obey God if they were also gods? The quickness with which Adam agreed to Eve’s offer of the fruit may possibly show that he too had these same feelings. In any event, we know that it was Adam’s sin that was responsible for the fall and the curse (Romans 5:12). The sin of pride that led to Satan’s fall had now infected the hearts and minds of Adam and Eve, and the result was the same: shame, loss of wisdom, ruin, and death.

In verses 12 and 13 are Adam and Eve’s response to God’s question. The sin of pride shows through in their replies. Look at whom they really blamed for their actions: “The serpent deceived me,” said Eve; “The woman you gave to be with me enticed me,” said Adam. They almost seem to say that if they had been God things would have been different; therefore, it’s all God’s fault. These are not the responses of broken and contrite hearts, they are the responses of a proud and willful people caught in the act of rebellion against God.

Pride is still man’s most prevalent sin. Little has changed since the fall. Man is still a creature consumed with pride. Romans 1:18–21 gives the current condition of mankind:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Why does mankind suppress the truth? Why does he not glorify God? Why is he unthankful? Why is his imagination vain and his heart darkened? Because he does not glorify God as God. Mankind wants to glorify himself as God. We want to be the sole decision maker and sole authority in our life. We want nothing to do with a creator God to whom we should owe allegiance. If only we could come up with some natural explanation for everything we see around us, if only we could ignore our conscience, if only we could forget past history that clearly shows divine intervention, then we could rationalize away God and make gods of ourselves. Isn’t this exactly what we see today? Now we have evolution, moral relativism, humanism, revisionist history, and all other attempts to willfully hold God’s revealed truth at arms length. Truly our sinful human pride knows no bounds!

The Lord knows where his creatures are most prone to err, and pride infects all of humanity. We could make a case for pride being the fountainhead of all other sins. Anger, hate, jealousy, and ingratitude all stem from pride; something we wanted to happen did not happen and we feel offended, our pride is wounded, and our emotions are stirred to cause us to act sinfully. We could even make the case that “the love of money is the root of all [kinds of] evil” passage in 1 Timothy 6:10 really deals with the sin of pride as well. We know that covetousness is the same as idolatry (Ephesians 5:5), and idolatry is the sin of creating our own god by being too proud and stubborn to worship the True God. Consider the following verses in Proverbs that reflect God’s attitude toward pride:

Proverbs 6:16–19: These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

Proverbs 8:13: The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate.

On God’s list of the top seven most heinous sins, pride comes in at number one! In verse 13 we see that the fear of the Lord is equated with hating pride and arrogance. If we allow pride to control us, we do not really fear God as we ought. C. S. Lewis said, “The essential vice, the utmost evil, is Pride. Unchastity, greed, drunkenness, and all that, are mere flea-bites in comparison: it was through Pride that the devil became the devil: Pride leads to every other vice: it is the complete anti-God state of mind.”

What should we as Christians do to guard against this sin? There are no instant cures for this sin. Pride is a sin we struggle with on a daily basis. (In Romans 7:13–25 the Apostle Paul agonizes over his struggles against sin, and Paul had to endure the “thorn in the flesh” in 2 Corinthians 12:7 that was given to keep him from becoming exalted above measure.) However, God doesn’t leave us or forsake us. He gives us grace and power to overcome even this most insidious sin. A couple of passages in James and 1 Peter deal with this.

James 4:5–8: Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

1 Peter 5:5–10: Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

In both of these passages we’re warned to forsake pride and humbly submit ourselves before God in order to resist the devil. We give Satan a foothold when we walk like him rather than like Christ (who came to do not His own will but the will of the Father).

It’s only through God’s grace and provision that we can daily overcome our innate pride. We need to pray (cast all our cares upon God), study the Bible (be sober and vigilant), be submissive to God by obeying Him and revering Him, and recognize that it is Jesus Christ who strengthens, establishes, settles, and perfects us.

Without Him we can do nothing!

Truth Social and Dr. Sherri Tenpenny – a Lesson in Dealing with “Disinformation”

I will try to keep this short.

I was very shocked, recently, to find that Dr. Sherry Tenpenny was banned from Truth Social for calling the mRNA COVID vaccines “bioweapons”.

Dr. Tenpenny commented back.

Let’s take a closer look at that!

I can tell you this – by the time I saw this, Dr. Tenpenny had been reinstated on Truth Social. I’m not sure what went on behind the scenes, but within hours, she was back on.

THIS may have had something to do with it.

Here was Dr. Tenpenny’s comment back to Jeff Dornik.

@jeffdornik – We had developed just shy of 5000 followers in six weeks on TS.

We had about 300 posts on a variety of subjects:
Jabs, WEF, Gates, VAERS, Faith-based content, 2A, food supply, Agenda 2030, Biden’s dark winter, Klaus Schwab, the WHO treaty, pro-life issues … & the list goes on!

PodBean did the same thing last fall – wiped my account of great interviews just as we passed 1M downloads in 8 months.
Honestly – other people that now have >25M+ downloads on Podbean were untouched.

So much for Truth Social and free speech.

“When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say.” #TruthSocial#FreeSpeech#Podbean

Sherry Tenpenny, Gab Social, June 7, 2022

As I said, by the time I got on Truth Social to confirm, a few hours later, Dr. Tenpenny’s account had already been restored.

Here was a comment I made later, on her account.

Amen!

Very happy that you’re back – otherwise I would have left this place as not having free speech.

I’m a scientist who agrees with much of what you write, but I disagree on some things. That is small potatoes. Scientists disagree.

Here’s a gift argument.

IF a virus is created as part of bioweapons research, how can a vaccine for it NOT also be a bioweapon? It must be. Current vaccines are ALWAYS a limited case of the disease itself.

C19+vax has a “fait accompli” military strategy.

My point there is that EVEN if one throws out the very likely agenda of vaccines as a population control mechanism (contraceptive and sterilizing vaccines being a well-known area of modern science), and even if we throw out doctrines of Chinese “total warfare” and China’s deep involvement in the mRNA vaccines (China is now trusted to run ALL of Pfizer’s clinical trials), we are still left with the reality that vaccines for a disease which is “possibly to likely” a gain-of-function bioweapon or bioweapon test, simply cannot ever lose that nature.

Vaccines are a devil’s deal with SOME weakened form of a disease. DEAL WITH IT.

They’re a damn bioweapon. Dialed down, but clearly not enough yet.

I just checked – Dr. Tenpenny is still back on Truth Social, and was posting last night (Friday, June 10, 2022).

Here is my perspective on this.

Dr. Tenpenny is labeled by the leftists as one of the “Dirty Dozen” – top spreaders of “disinformation” about vaccines.

LINK: https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-56536390

In my personal opinion, yes, she does spread disinformation, but she also spreads valuable information that the mainstream media suppresses. And EVEN her “disinformation” often has either grains of suppressed TRUTH in it – OR (and this is very important) allows me to see how our intelligence agencies SET HER (and us) UP with the disinformation, as ILLEGAL ACTS OF DISCREDITATION against American citizens.

More on that in a moment.

Do you, patriots, want to suppress information about the crimes of the left? I don’t think so.

Dr. Tenpenny and her friends were maliciously set up with phony “information” about several things, which I have covered on this blog.

  • vaccine magnetism
  • suramin (a synthetic drug) in pine needles and star anise
  • pine needle tea (a natural abortifacient) as a ‘cure’ for the obviously abortifacient coronavirus vaccines

The first was a rather cunning viral discreditation of vaccine critics. I did my own experiments to prove that this was essentially a parlor trick using skin oils, surface tension, and psychology, designed to fool people into believing that magnets are sticking to injection sites.

The second was a sadly effective demonstration of the idea that our side often doesn’t fact check the most basic drug information.

The third was an amazingly cynical way to not only get Dr. Tenpenny and her colleagues to destroy their own reputations by advocating a known abortifacient to people fearful of abortion, but to get those very same abortion opponents to self-abort.

Seriously, the people who come up with that kind of deception are truly evil.

Here is my prior coverage of these topics.

Vaccine magnetism

The Magnetism Challenge: Part I

Wherein we examine, in something like “MythBusters” style, the dubious “Magnet Challenge”, without relying (too much) on the anti-scientific crutch of scientific authority First, a confession. The main reason I am attracted to these videos of people sticking magnets to the COVID vaccination injection sites on their shoulders, is that I love to watch normal …

The Magnetism Challenge: Part II – Scientific Disinformation During the COVID-19 Narrative Collapse

Wherein we look at how the COVID scammers are now using “magnetic” disinformation to try to escape justice for REAL abuse of liposome biotechnology to achieve [most likely contraceptive] vaccine persistence and migration. TL;DR – after mRNA vaccine persistence and anatomical migration were revealed in leaked Pfizer data, explaining “shedding” via persistent liposomes, the COVID …

Suramin and Pine Needle Tea

The Magnetism Challenge: Part III – Suramin: A Lesson in Discreditation of Dissident Scientists and Science

This is for the historical record. I hope that this analysis gets to the “dissident scientists” involved, but even if it never does, future historians will get a powerful look at what I call “Fake Science” – the establishment’s phony, deceptive and controlled scientific complex – and how infiltration, control, and discreditation of dissident populist …

If you read these articles, knowing what we now know from the Pfizer documents, then it’s very clear that Pfizer was quite vulnerable on several points about their mRNA COVID vaccine.

Feeding discred to their enemies? Totally believable. I actually have PERSONAL experience with such discreditation, because it’s a technique used WITHIN the pharmaceutical industry in their internal turf wars. Absolutely unsurprising that they might use this on their enemies outside.

But let’s just take that a little bit bigger.

Truth Social clearly made the right move by quickly reinstating Sherri Tenpenny. And not just on freedom of speech grounds. As I told Dr. Tenpenny, any vaccine that is designed to invoke a limited case of a bioweaponized disease is, in fact, a limited case of that bioweapon. What she was saying wasn’t even WRONG, much less disinformation.

Wait for her to advocate pine needle tea for containing suramin. THAT IS WRONG. And that error is STILL part of free speech, which can not only correct us, but which can sometimes lead us to CRIMES that need to be brought to the enemy’s doorstep.

Part of being unafraid of TRUTH, is being unafraid of ERROR.

However, don’t think for a second that the problem is over. Dr. Tenpenny and many other TRUTH WARRIORS are going to pick up disinformation and run with it – ESPECIALLY when our own intelligence agencies craft stuff designed for them, using our tax dollars. And that is to say nothing of Russian, Ukrainian, and Chinese disinformation, crafted for our side to pick up.

Just look at THE HOAX. Indeed, THAT is the “big end” of disinformation.

NOPE. Never sweep disinformation under the rug. HIGHLIGHT IT, so that we can dig into it, and then we can FIND THE TRUTH.

Maybe Truth Social can pioneer new ways to deal with disinformation without denigrating those we are seeking to enlighten.

SPECIAL SECTION: Message For Our “Friends” In The Middle Kingdom

I normally save this for near the end, but…basically…up your shit-kicking barbarian asses. Yes, barbarian! It took a bunch of sailors in Western Asia to invent a real alphabet instead of badly drawn cartoons to write with. So much for your “civilization.”

Yeah, the WORLD noticed you had to borrow the Latin alphabet to make Pinyin. Like with every other idea you had to steal from us “Foreign Devils” since you rammed your heads up your asses five centuries ago, you sure managed to bastardize it badly in the process.

Have you stopped eating bats yet? Are you shit-kickers still sleeping with farm animals?

Or maybe even just had the slightest inkling of treating lives as something you don’t just casually dispose of?

中国是个混蛋 !!!
Zhōngguò shì gè hùndàn !!!
China is asshoe !!!

And here’s my response to barbarian “asshoes” like you:

OK, with that rant out of my system…

Biden Gives Us Too Much Credit

…we can move on to the next one.

Apparently Biden (or his puppeteer) has decided we’re to blame for all of the fail in the United States today.

Sorry to disappoint you Joe (or whoever), but you managed to do that all on your own; not only that, you wouldn’t let us NOT give you the chance because you insisted on cheating your way into power.

Yep, you-all are incompetent, and so proud of it you expect our applause for your sincerity. Fuck that!!

It wouldn’t be so bad, but you insist that everyone else have to share in your misery. Nope, can’t have anyone get out from under it. Somehow your grand vision only works if every single other person on earth is forced to go along. So much as ONE PERSON not going along is enough to make it all fail, apparently.

In engineering school we’re taught that a design that has seven to eight billion single points of failure…sucks.

Actually, we weren’t taught that. Because it would never have occurred to the professors to use such a ridiculous example.

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Kamala Harris has a new nickname since she finally went west from DC to El Paso Texas: Westward Hoe.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

Spot Prices

All prices are Kitco Ask, 3PM MT Friday (at that time the markets close for the weekend).

Last week:

Gold $1,852.30
Silver $22.00
Platinum $1022.00
Palladium $2,074.00
Rhodium $15,500.00

So here it is, Friday, 3PM MT after markets closed and we see:

Gold $1,873.20
Silver $22.00
Platinum $982.00
Palladium $2,020.00
Rhodium $14,900.00

All over the map here. Gold up, silver is exactly where it was (though I am sure it moved around a bit over the week), all of the PGMs down. That says to me the industrial users are demanding less, and gold is serving as a safe haven.

But that interpretation is worth exactly what you just paid for it.

JWST Update

JWST instrument commissioning proceeds apace.

This morning, I saw they had two of the seventeen instrument modes checked off. It’s now 3PM mountain time…and they have four!

That tells me they’re working a bunch of them (maybe even all of them) at the same time.

The JWST blog is busy, too. As some here noted, they’ve already dealt with a micrometeor strike. They expected these and designed with that in mind. (Though if a meteor isn’t so “micro-” there could be problems. However, the bigger they are the less likely they are.)

https://blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2022/06/08/webb-engineered-to-endure-micrometeoroid-impacts/

Also they’ve posted about the near infrared imager and slitless spectrometer (NIRISS), one of the four instruments on JWST (there’s a fifth, but it’s used to keep track of the JWST itself). They can do spectroscopy on one object, or everything in the field of view at once, interfermetry (getting increased resolution at the cost of some light), and just plain old imaging to back up and/or supplement NIRCam.

https://blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2022/06/03/the-modes-of-webbs-niriss/

If I were to try to overstate how important spectroscopy is to astronomy, I’d fail. It’s thanks to spectroscopy that we can tell radial velocity (how fast a star is moving towards or away from us), how fast something is rotating, what it is made of, and (with a lot of sophisticated processing) the mass and period of many exoplanets and even what the atmosphere of an exoplanet might contain (provided in the latter case we are in the exoplanet’s orbital plane), all without leaving the comfort of our home planetary system (and let’s face it, we still haven’t much choice there). The overwhelming majority of what we know about “out there” is thanks to spectroscopy. And it was key in discovering at least a dozen chemical elements, including one that was discovered in the sun before it was discovered here (I’ve told that story–hint/reminder, it’s the chemical element named after the sun).

You may have wondered how they’re going to decide who gets to use JWST. After all there are more astronomers than there are James Webb Space Telescopes. And, it turns out, it’s a bureaucratic process.

https://blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2022/06/09/scheduling-webbs-science/

I know that some of the available (24/7 minus takedowns for maintenance, usually adjusting mirror secoment alignments) time is held in reserve, at the discretion of the manager of the JWST. That’s quite a privilege, but other than his personal research, he’ll be expected to use it to study things that go kaboom or comets, especially comets about to hit things. In other words, if a supernova were to go off near by (a totally unanticipatable event), it gets priority over the guy who wants an image of NGC-1234…and that guy would probably even agree with the decision; we haven’t had a really gonzo supernova since before Galileo’s telescope. (The fact that the one back in 1987 was visible even though it was a hundred thousand light years away tells you something about how bright a star like Betelgeuse would be if it went kaboom! since Betelgeuse is a couple of hundred times closer. Yes, it would be visible in daylight.)

Meanwhile, we wait for the awesome.

An Interesting Point Made Here

Yesterday cthulhu linked to this:

https://townhall.com/columnists/kurtschlichter/2022/06/09/let-the-leftists-beat-each-other-up-n2608458

(Very first post for Friday.)

And the first part of that was worth a read:

When we conservatives decline to volunteer as a dish in the progressive buffet, the leftists have no choice but to feed upon each other. We will see more of it as conservatives wake up and smell the kombucha – leftists only win when they can bully and intimidate, and if we choose not to let them do that to us, then it’s not as if they will give up their go-to move. No, they will turn on each other, and we will gobble up the Orville Redenbacher as they fight to the death for our amusement.

And we are amused.

Donald Trump was the first guy to push back, really push back, but it was not simply his pugnacious nature and cunning ability with mean tweets that made him important. It was his moral position. At some level, for some reason, so many establishment Republicans had approached these bad faith actors as legitimate critics who were at best misguided and who might actually have a germ of a point within their critiques. Trump, however – having been among them for decades and understanding exactly who they are – read them correctly. He considered them garbage.

It was not so much that Trump fought back, it was that he made it clear that the leftists are scum. And because he did not credit them with any moral stature, their slings and arrows bounced off his armor. Of course, Ron DeSantis has taken the same tack with them, refusing to credit them with any kind of merit. And that deprives them of their most powerful weapon – their victims’ complicity.

The thing about words is that they can only hurt you if you let them. At one point, “racist” and “sexist” and all the other lies might have stung. Now, we consider them a punchline and an outright slander. We laugh at them.

Kurt Schlichter on TownHall

This is precisely what Ayn Rand called “the sanction of the victim.” It comes about when, deep down, you cede moral authority to your oppressors. Rand would, in particular, highlight the effects of an altruistic world view in this connection, i.e., where your worth is measured by how much self sacrifice you are willing to do. If you can be guilt-tripped for not being willing to give up something you value, to help out a bum on the street, they’ve got you.

This sort of thing is, I believe, why many RINOs cave regularly. They believe that the Left has a bunch of impractical ideals, and they think of themselves as practical people who have to rein those impractical people in. But the problem is, they think of the left’s ideals as ideals that can’t be achieved practically–which means they say to themselves, “Well it’s nice in theory.” So they can be pressured to help try. After all, it would be nice if real communism could work, so why not get as close to it as is practical?

But in doing this they cede the moral high ground to the Left. Which is why RINOs are inveterate invertebrates.

Rand, of course, thought altruism (which she considered sacrificing something of greater value for something of lesser value, about which more below) was a crock, so she was immune to that.

But even those immune to altruistic appeals might not be immune to accusations of “sexism” or “racism” and modern Leftism isn’t so much about Marxism of the “workers own the means of production” as it is about race and sex inequality “built in” to the culture. (Though the former is supposed to be a means to correct the latter…or maybe the latter is the excuse to implement the former…ah, well, who cares which one it is?) So they pull guilt trips that can only work if you cede them the high ground. If you do that, you will feel you deserve what they do to you.

That’s a major philosophical thread underlying the entire novel Atlas Shrugged.

(By the way in her non-fiction writing Ayn Rand was explicit that she was not talking about “sacrificing” to put your kids through college or things like that–you are trading a lesser value (that fancy car you couldn’t buy) for something of greater value (your children’s futures. She would not consider that an actual sacrifice but rather a high price paid for something of great value. A sacrifice is giving up something more valuable to you, in exchange for something less valuable. With that in mind, Ayn Rand opposed sacrifices in life, often gotten from people through guilt trips.)

And now, thanks in part to the Left going over the top with accusations of “racism” and in part to Trump showing them to be paper tigers, the Left is losing their power…and they’re losing their shit over that.

Quarters

The subject of the new quarters came up a couple of days ago, and I thought I’d bring in a historical perspective.

It’s hard to imagine today, but in the early days quarters weren’t that popular a denomination. Since, back then, the mint made coins to order by anyone who brought silver or gold in, that meant if people didn’t specifically ask for it, they didn’t make it. And most people bringing in a bunch of silver would want it done as dollars or half dollars.

But, nevertheless they did make a few thousand of them in 1796.

Note there’s no denomination on the coin. You were expected to know what it was by its size. And the other silver coins had the same design themes on them.

They made a few more quarters in the 1800s (i.e., 180x, not the 19th century) with a different eagle (and now, the denomination is given as 25 C though it looks like an afterthought):

And then in 1807 or so they changed designs completely.

Collectors refer to the prior designs as “Draped Bust/Small Eagle” and “Draped Bust/Large Eagle” and this design is the “Capped Bust” because Liberty is wearing a cap. This ran until mid 1838, though the recently-founded New Orleans mint adopted it a couple years later. Again, all silver denominations basically used the same theme, the coins looked like each other except for size and the written denomination (half dimes, dimes, quarters, and halves–there were no capped bust dollars at all). [Yes, half dimes…silver coins half the size of a dime. The nickel we know and love didn’t exist until 1866.]

Again, there’d be multi-year gaps where no one ordered quarters from the mint.

Next was the “Liberty Seated” series which ran until 1891, i.e., it lasted longer than the mint had been in existence when it was adopted. Again, all of the silver coins basically looked the same. We had silver dollars again. But the half-dime and dime were a little different, instead of an eagle they had a wreath on the reverse. So we finally started to see a breaking up of the monolithic one-design-for-all-denominations rule.

There was one major change to this in 1866 for the quarter, half dollar and dollar, because “In God We Trust” was added, on a ribbon over the eagle’s head and wings.

A multimillionaire might decide it would be fun to get one of each date and mintmark, in uncirculated condition…that’s the typical collecting type, albeit with a budget the typical collector doesn’t have (most collectors don’t even delve into Liberty Seated and earlier coinage at all; if you collect by type–one of each design type rather than one of each year and mint mark–you have a considerable advantage; you need six or eight coins instead of over a hundred).

That multimillionaire will never succeed if he undertakes that quest. Many dates, especially from the San Francisco mint, are unknown in uncirculated condition; i.e., absent someone opening a box in an old attic somewhere and making a discovery, there aren’t any. Period. Again, quarters were not that popular, and the mint didn’t make many. (And the Civil War was not good for specie coinage on top of that.)

The mint got bored with the Liberty Seated coinage and decided to replace it starting in 1892. We were now down to four silver denominations, the dime, quarter, and half dollar, plus two distinct types of silver dollars. The silver dollars had their own designs, now, but the dime, quarter and half dollar still had liberty seated on the obverse and an eagle (or wreath) on the reverse. Anyhow, the replacement quarter was…

And collectors are almost unanimous in finding this design to be incredibly blah. (What’s with Liberty’s neck?) This design had one big advantage though, and that is that it struck up well, with all the detail, and as it wore down, it was still readily recognizable. That was the criteria Charles Barber was working from, and he succeeded.

Why am I showing you all of this? Because people were talking about the artistry and symbolism of the new quarters. So the design has been my focus so far.

In the 1900s…as in 190x, not 19xx..none other than President Theodore Roosevelt decided our coins were artistically atrocious. Not just silver but also the coppers, nickels, and gold pieces. (Probably the only then-current design liked a lot today is the Indian head cent.) So he embarked on a crusade to change the designs. There was, at the time, a law against changing the designs more than once every twenty five years, but the then-current gold designs had been around since 1839 or 1849 depending on the denomination, so those could be done right now. Roosevelt brought well-known sculptors famous for their work into the project, and this was in the days before modern “art.” (You can look those up: Indian head quarter eagle, half eagle, eagle, and St. Gaudens double eagle, I want to focus on quarters).

But the effort to change our coinage actually did outlive Teddy Roosevelt. In 1916, under Woodrow Never-to-be-Sufficiently-Damned Wilson, the silver was addressed (and again, there was no dollar being produced at all). And this time the designs were completely different for each denomination.

So I present you the “Standing Liberty Quarter.”

Only a few were made at the tail end of 1916 and command a huge premium today, but more were made in 1917 and then there was a design change.

The shield looks different, the eagle is higher up, the stars on the reverse are rearranged…and yeah, Liberty is now overdressed.

[The modern “old wives’ tale” is that there was a huge hue and cry over the bare breast and that’s why they changed the design, but in fact little evidence of such can be found in contemporary newspapers. And John Ashcroft wasn’t even alive then.]

These coins are much, much more artistic than the Barber series, but the mint hated them. The design was nearly impossible to strike up. Oftentimes detail in Liberty’s head was just not there, and so today, if you’re shopping for one of these, an “FH” or “Full Head” designation can bring a premium. But even on “Full Head” coins, many of the rivets on the shield (and the US shield on the shield) can be soft or nonexistent.

It was difficult to mint these well in the sorts of quantities the mint was now being called upon to produce. (The “Mercury” dime and walking liberty half dollar also introduced in 1916 had similar issues…also worth looking up.)

Charles Barber was stung that his design had been dropped after 24 years (with a little creative interpretation of the exact text of the 25 year rule), and considered these designs failures–and by his criteria, as a man charged with producing designs that would strike up and wear well, he was actually right.

Washington’s 200th birthday was fast approaching, and Congress passed a bill to put Washington on the quarter in 1932. The last standing liberty quarter was made in 1930 (none dated 1931).

So now, who gets to sculpt George Washington?

The Commission on Fine Arts had hired Laura Gardin Fraser to sculpt a commemorative medal, and they suggested the same bust be used on the quarter. But instead Treasury Secretary Andrew W. Mellon chose the James Flanagan portrayal, which in turn was based on a sculpted bust by Jean-Antoine Houdon made in 1786–i.e., a sculpture made using Washington himself as a model.

A plaster copy of Houdon’s bust of Washington

So the Flanagan portrayal should be very, very close to an actual image of Washington. (It can be hard to nail down a good image of someone who lived before photography.) Anyhow, here it is:

This of course is what we’re used to. But please note, there is actual detail in Washington’s hair. By the 1960s and 1970s the master hub from which the dies are made had worn smooth from repeated use and Washington’s hair began to look like a skullcap.

A touched up version of this began to be used sometime in the 1990s, but they overdid it and it looked like Washington’s hair was made of spaghetti.

Honestly, from 1994 they couldn’t find a coin that wasn’t heavily dinged up around George’s mouth?

It only got worse in 1999. The image was shrunk slightly to make room for legends brought from the reverse for the state quarters series.

And the spaghetti looks even worse. For that matter so do the dings on the coin.

And the spaghetti hair looks even worse. (BTW, here he faces away from “In God We Trust.” This is nothing new; it has been like that since 1999.)

Still, it looks very much like before. Flanagan might not have liked what was done to his portrait, but at least it was recognizable as an attempt at his portrait.

The state quarters series, and the subsequent national seashore series ended, finally in 2021, early in the year, and the mint reverted to the 1990s full-size, spaghetti hair portrait, for just that one year (with IGWT on the left again below Washington’s chin).

On the reverse is this image of Washington’s crossing of the Delaware. (I couldn’t find a decent sharp image of the obverse of this coin; the focus was on the new reverse.)

But this was just a gap filler. We’re on to a new program for quarters, one recognizing women…and OBTW it’s quota time. One White, one “Native American,” one Black, one Asian, one Hispanic. (And we get to do this for three more years after this one. Oh joy. Oh rupture.)

(The feminazis must be downright orgasmic over the Amerind honoree, Wilma Mankiller.)

And it being women…well, it has been alleged that Mellon made his decision for the Flanagan portrait over the Fraser portrait on purely sexist grounds, and so, where better than on quarters designed to honor women should one rectify such an injustice? So Fraser’s portrait, used once on a $5 gold commemorative in 1999 (shown below), got brought back.

Well, Mellon’s choice might have been due to sexism, or it might have been that he thought this was butt ugly by comparison. Judging from the commentary here earlier this week, I’ll go with butt ugly.

On the other hand, a “Fine Arts Commission” did recommend this over the Flanagan design. So I’ll allow that perhaps sincere people could differ over which one is better.

Perhaps. 🙂

Now I’m going to come to Fraser’s defense, a bit. She and her husband, James Earle Fraser, were “real” sculptors too, just as St. Gaudens, Bela Lyon Pratt, Adolph Weinman, Victor D. Brenner, and Hermon Atkins MacNeil were (these people had all done coin designs in the early 20th century). In fact James Fraser did the Indian Head (or “Buffalo”) nickel. Laura did one of the two sides of the Oregon Trail Memorial half dollar (struck intermittently between 1926 and 1939):

She and her husband both liked to use American Indian subjects in their sculpture, and I realized earlier this week that might be why Washington looks very “Indian” in her portrayal.

(By the way the other side of that coin was done by James:)

Maybe Republicans could consider not compromising our Second Amendment rights

Are the Republicans asking for any concession?

  • Are the Republicans asking for nationwide constitutional concealed carry, which has already been adopted in half of the states as a deterrent to criminal activity?
  • Are the Republicans asking for the elimination of the illusionary gun-free zones, better known as the locations of many or most mass killings?
  • Are the Republicans asking to harden the schools, almost as if protecting our kids is equivalent to how we protect our money in banks or government officials?
  • Are the Republicans asking for penalties or proposing remedies for simply not enforcing the 10,000+ laws already on the books regarding gun regulation that seem to fail consistently?
  • Are the Republicans asking for the elimination of former President Obama’s school-to-prison pipeline guidance idiocy that allowed, for example, the Parkland school shooting to occur because the minority killer, Nikolas Cruz, was a known risk to everyone who knew him or about him?

Perhaps even tangentially, the Republicans could ask for other concessions to save lives, since that is the stated goal.

  • Are the Republicans asking for the border with Mexico to be controlled with the funnel-and-gate technology consisting of a physical barrier with narrower access points to aggressively monitor in order to eliminate the flood of illegal drug-caused overdoses in our country, human-trafficking, rapes, and robbery, not to mention influx of diseases, including the dreaded China virus?

The list is almost endless.  However, it appears beyond the useless Republicans’ ability to think outside the agenda of the Democrats.  Meet the Democrats halfway to what they want…wash, rinse, repeat.

When it comes to protecting Supreme Court justices…the conversation is a bit different.

Shocker. McCarthy took to the floor.

Sundance chimes in:

If you know the way Washington DC thinks, specifically thinks about their own scale of importance amid a world filled with lesser people who do not understand the value of their elite place in the construction of government, then you could easily predict what is happening right now.

A previous senate bill that would have afforded security details to Supreme Court Justices, is now stalled in the House of Representatives as Nancy Pelosi and top Democrat politicians add an additional set of people who should gain the full benefit of taxpayer funded security details.

Democrats in the House are using the opportunity provided by bipartisan agreement to enhance the personal security services for the Judicial Branch, in order to assign the same privileges to staff, aides and people who work within the administration of government. DC is nothing if not predictable in their elitist view of their self-importance.

At the same time as Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, along with some insufferable republicans who pretend not to know how these issues are always manipulated to the benefit of the administrative state, are urgently constructing limits and restrictions to disarm lawful Americans; they are simultaneously building their own system of personal protective services to insure they never have to face the same physical risks they initiate upon everyone else.

Jan. 6 Committee Being Used to ‘Abolish Electoral College,’ ‘Cover Up’ for Pelosi: House Republicans

House Republicans on Wednesday spoke out against the Jan. 6 Committee, accusing the entire effort of being a “partisan witch hunt” used by Democrats to abolish the Electoral College as well as to help cover up what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) does not want the public to know about matters surrounding the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

“This committee is not about seeking the truth. It is a smear campaign against President Donald Trump, against Republican members of Congress, and against Trump voters across this country,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), the House Republican Conference chair, said at a press conference—the first of several events pushing back against the Jan. 6 Committee’s public hearings that are set to begin Thursday.

“It does not serve any true legislative or oversight purpose. And it is not about finding out why Nancy Pelosi left the Capitol so ill-prepared that day … and it will not prevent another January 6 from happening,” she added. Stefanik had previously accused the Jan. 6 panel of being a political weapon “used to cover up for Nancy Pelosi’s failures.”

Biden’s DOJ Threatens to Put a Gag Order on Trump Adviser Peter Navarro Over Claims He Is Creating a ‘Carnival Atmosphere’

On Wednesday, federal prosecutors said they wanted to provide Navarro – who says he is having trouble finding a legal team – with the grand jury evidence that led to charges so that he could prepare a defense.

But they said his conduct suggested there should be protections to ensure he does not use the material for a media campaign.

In return he accused them of trying to exploit the fact that he does not have legal representation yet.

‘The defendant’s extrajudicial statements, however, demonstrate a substantial risk that, without a protective order, the defendant will use non-public discovery for improper purposes instead of to prepare the defense he plans to present before this court,’ wrote the prosecutors.

Without having his own lawyer, they added, increased the risk.

‘The defendant has demonstrated through his public statements that he intends to litigate the merits of the pending charges in the press,’ they said in the application for a protective order.

‘Moreover, proceeding pro se, the defendant does not have an attorney who can monitor his use of non-public discovery material and who is subject to the District’s clear rules limiting extrajudicial statements and other efforts to taint the jury pool.

A gag, they add, would meet the court’s obligation ‘to avoid the “carnival atmosphere” that might accompany a case receiving substantial public attention … as this case already has, due, in part, to the defendant’s press appearances.’

The investigation into the cause of the fire below is ongoing, but a gas leak is suspected. The news stories talk about a woman lighting a candle…if that’s the case, there would already be a candle lit in the candle stand from which to draw blessed fire. If it was a gas leak, the timing was pretty perfect since there was already fire there.

Any takers?

STOP IT! Just Stop It!

Leftists in the Biden administration have finally outrun their headlights and (again) exposed the failures of Marxism. What must we do to stop them now that we have that hard proof?

So, here’s a question for you: Where is the American anger at what is being done to us? Yes, done to us! There should be outrage. Yet, I only see people sheepishly wondering when the price of gas will come back down.

Joe Biden and the administration leftists again demonstrated that Marxist progressive socialism fails every time it is tried. In three key examples discussed below, it has taken just 15 months to glaringly show Marxism’s failure well beyond any logical defense.

Our leaders are not incompetent because incompetent people occasionally stumble into correct decisions. It isn’t possible to screw things up this badly, especially this quickly, if not on purpose.

Marxists must collapse our economy, our culture, the family, and our founding documents if America is to be taken out of the way and absorbed into their globalist end goal.

FDA Panel Recommends EUA Approval for Novavax Vaccine

In my opinion, the approval of a “likely safer” coronavirus vaccine is – in the long game – a big win for popular science – here’s why.

The approaching approval (or not) of a competing EUA for the NON-mRNA NON-viral-vector NON-genetic Novavax coronavirus vaccine is going to tell us a LOT about how much power Pfizer and China still hold over FDA and CDC.

As you may have read two days ago, I regarded the conveniently timed FDA public statement about the myocarditis risks of the Novavax vaccine as a cynical “pot-vs.-kettle” attempt to sway approval and prevent the entirety of future Novavax data from getting into VAERS, where such data would very likely highlight every possible problem with the mRNA vaccine technology of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

FDA and Pfizer/China Throw Shade on Novavax to Keep Data on Safer Vaccines Out of VAERS

TL;DR – “I believe that mRNA vaccines have serious risks that would be REVEALED by approval of the Novavax vaccine.” -Wolf Moon I’m actually surprised that FDA and Pfizer/China allowed Novavax to get this close to approval, but they clearly have the upcoming vote RIGGED, just like the 2020 election. The trusty “board mules” that …

Well, it looks like the VRBPAC bunch did the smart – or at least consistent thing, and recommended approval.

The 21-0 vote with one abstention is telling, IMO. A vote AGAINST would cause an uproar on both sides, and put VRBPAC in the hot seat. Are they shuffling the murder of Novavax off to “the Roach” for a kill? We will see.

Here is a comment I added to my prior post, regarding an article in the Federalist, which takes the “no more approvals of any vaccine” approach – which I believe is well-intended but short-sighted. This comment explain my strategic reasons for supporting approval.

Here is a great example of somebody who sees the vaccines much the same as me, but strategically comes to the exact opposite point of view on approval of Novavax.

Reading his point of view may help people to see mine – or maybe not. Worth a read.

https://thefederalist.com/2022/06/09/fda-pushes-to-authorize-novavaxs-covid-19-vaccine-despite-serious-cardiovascular-safety-issues/

Dr. Gortler basically wants to begin playing fair and correctly on Novavax – making it jump through the hoops that Pfizer and Moderna didn’t have to jump through, but (IN MY OPINION, NOT HIS) thus denying what is likely a SAFER vaccine (in many respects – not all) to people who are going to take a vaccine, one way or another.

In my opinion, admitting the Novavax vaccine will shed necessary light on mRNA technology, as this “shingles-style” (recombinant protein) vaccine will help to highlight the flaws of the mRNA tech in the long run.

This is where I take a “Trumpian” and “they have to be shown” position. I regard a denial here as the kind of “purism” that has been deadly to conservatives, and was responsible for “NeverTrump” as an effective weapon of the left.

We have what is likely a “saf-ER” vaccine. Do we approve it or not?

YMMV.

Wolf Moon, June 9, 2022

Note that there is still plenty of time for FDA and/or CDC to snake Novavax and help Pfizer and China. Will they do it? Let’s wait and see. Either way, we win.

If Rochelle Alinsky and Anthony Fauci knife Novavax in the back to protect mRNA, I will have one of my greatest arguments yet that they need to be removed and prosecuted. The blatant hypocrisy will win more and more Democrats to our side. All of my neighbors are perfect recipients of the message. They will be screaming for Fauci to hang.

If they allow Novavax the opportunity to prove itself [to any degree] safer than mRNA vaccines, they fight another day – but they have to fight a battle we are destined to win.

Like I say, every day is a fight – but we are winning more and more fights, sooner and sooner.

FIGHT ON, PATRIOTS.

Sundance is suspicious.

Everything about this story is suspicious.  A California man travels all the way to Maryland only to be intercepted by unnamed police at 1:50am, and then admits he was intent on killing Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh because he was angry about the possibility of SCOTUS overturning Roe -v- Wade.  Uh huh.

The first indicator something is sketchy is the WaPo with the breaking news. The second indicator is Peter Strzoks BFF journalist Devlin Barrett with the story.  Assuming the U.S. Marshals office still holds some credibility, the Occam’ Razor of the sourcing would indicate it’s the FBI delivering the information to the Washington Post….

Looks to me like someone wants to keep the Supreme Court abortion story in the mind of the electorate.  Perhaps the political benefit was wearing off, so they needed to restir the pot.   Regardless of what is behind the story, things are certainly not as they appear at face value.

The other side is investing a lot into keeping the January 6 narrative alive. They’ve even hired someone who has the resources to confect a story line to keep the people not already awake mesmerized.

Red Flags Stand For Tyranny

Following the recent tragedy in Uvalde, the anti-liberty left didn’t waste any time blaming innocent gun owners. They immediately began talking about “red flag” laws, which sound merely helpful but which are, in fact, unconstitutional gun grabs under another name.

This is a typical leftist tactic: avoiding certain words because they would convey what is really taking place. Democrats routinely have their best wordsmiths conjure up soft language for wholesale gun confiscation. Start with those so-called “red flag” orders, which imply a government promise to confront serious dangers. Now that the people have become wise to this crass word manipulation, they’ve even starting to roll out a new version: “Yellow flag” orders. It’s got all the unconstitutional gun confiscation as before, but with a slightly brand new name.

That’s just the beginning of the naming frenzy, all intended to show that the government is just here to help. These unconstitutional abominations are also known as Extreme Risk Firearm Protection Orders (ERFPO), Risk Protection Orders (RPO), Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO), and Gun Violence Restraining Orders (GVRO). Liberticidal leftists have also been wearing out their thesaurus conjuring up harmless descriptions of how these things work. Instead of talking about how an innocent person’s means of self-defense and personal property will be taken at gunpoint, they talk about how these laws “temporarily” separate people from their guns or keep guns out of the hands of individuals perceived as a danger to themselves and others.

Okay…let’s see…reading on the culture….

Progressive America is the Twilight Zone

The dilapidating state of our culture, institutions, and politics (the order is deliberate) have been decades in the making.  Blame Boomers — the culture definers among them — for getting the ball rolling downhill in the highly romanticized lied about 1960s.  They spawned the decadent counterculture, which set in motion every society-rotting development we’re grappling with today.  Bill and Hillary Clinton are the aging avatars of counterculture radicals who turned into establishment exploiters.

Real Clear Politics’ average for “Direction of Country” polls is currently an eye-popping wrong track, 70.7%, while right direction stands at a paltry 22.4%.  Other than D.C. lifers, welfare moochers, and people wanting their college debt loans erased, who are these 22%?  And who, this side of lobotomies, is the smaller percentage of “not sure?”

America’s accelerating tumbling is the handiwork of a corrupt, ideologically driven, incompetent — dare say, venal — elite.  Don’t doubt that most of the incompetence stems from an irreparably flawed leftist worldview and age-old, mind-twisting power- and money-lust.

A calamitous, destructive, painful descent is happening before our eyes.  We’re witnesses to history — but the imperative is to be actors against what we’re witnessing.  Winning elections, though critical, won’t alone fix things.  The culture needs to be retaken.  Institutions need to be recaptured — or routes around them created.

The attack on American Civilization is multi-fronted.  Progressivism — an Orwellian inversion if there ever was one – is reminiscent of the classic TV show, The Twilight Zone.  In the show’s opening title, Rod Serling would say, in part, about the world of imagination that viewers were to enter: “It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge.”

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The dystopian state of our nation

If you want to know who controls you, look at who you are not allowed to criticize.”  Voltaire

The signs of decline are everywhere: violent crimes, corruption, riots, all with little or no consequences for the perpetrators, election fraud, medical mandates for vaccines that do not work.

“Doctors put drugs of which they know little into bodies of which they know less for diseases of which they know nothing at all.”   Voltaire

All of this is part of the left’s grand plan to “transform” American society from the free nation of our founding into something resembling communist China.  The one thing they did not plan on was the presidency of Donald Trump.  His four-year term in the White House was not only unexpected because the Democrats were certain that they had that election in the bag.  Hillary was on board with their globalist/Marxist plan, and they just knew that all their plans were a go.  But they underestimated the America First movement and were gobsmacked by Trump’s thoroughly unpredictable victory.  That is how blinkered they are.

“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”   Voltaire

The leftists “know” that if they are doing it, it is the right thing to do.  Convince people that there are multiple genders, that men can get pregnant, that it is fair for men to compete against women as women, that small children can be “trans.”  Anyone who publicly notes their destructive bent will be called a racist or homophobic or transphobic.  That is how they roll, our left.

And who do they blame for all the chaos they incite?  The deplorables of course; Trump supporters, patriots, constitutionalists, conservatives of every stripe.

Buying Out the American Dream

While the appeal of homeownership remains a priority for many Americans, the attainability of such a goal is steadily becoming loftier and out of reach for a majority of younger generations. In 2020, the Los Angeles Times reported that currently more than 67 million U.S. homeowners are over the age of 55, while a 2018 report by Urban divulged that homeownership rate among millennials aged from 25 to 34 is eight percentage points lower than baby boomers, and 8.4 percentage points lower than Gen Xers within the same age group.

There are many reasons for this grim manifestation ranging from the increased cost of living, the rising debt in younger generations, hidden homeownership costs, and even the glamour of traveling that appeals to many millennials. However, perhaps the most sinister and intrinsically dangerous justification for the millennial decline in homeownership is that the American dream is simply being bought right out from under them.

In the first quarter of 2021, one in every seven homes purchased were made by an institutional investor (asset managers, pension funds, foreign sovereign wealth funds). Among other things, this prices perspective middle-class homeowners out of the marketplace. HousingWire reported that investor purchases of single-family homes in 2021 rose 4.8% year over year in the first quarter, while investors maintained the largest market share in the multifamily sector by buying 25.8% of multifamily properties that sold. Investors acquired the largest share of lower-priced homes (20.8%), compared to 12.5% of high-priced homes and 11.3% of mid-priced homes. These investors typically pay in cash and often 50% above the asking price, while devouring entire neighborhoods by transforming them from middle-class homes into rental properties.

The Watergate boys are trying to be relevant…trying too hard, actually.

20For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 21“You have heard that it was said to the men of old, `You shall not kill; and whoever kills shall be liable to judgment.’ 22But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother shall be liable to the council, and whoever says, `You fool!’ shall be liable to the hell of fire. 23So if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25Make friends quickly with your accuser, while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison; 26truly, I say to you, you will never get out till you have paid the last penny.

George Soros Invested $40 Million to Help Elect Dozens of Progressive Prosecutors Across the U.S.: Study

Analysts with the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund (LELDF) found that Soros, a progressive billionaire and founder of the Open Society Foundations, has invested about $40 million over the past decade to elect dozens of progressive prosecutors, including many in the most populated U.S. cities.

Soros-backed prosecutors represent one-fifth of all Americans, and they hold office in half of the top 50 most populated U.S. cities and counties.

Cities with Soros-backed district attorneys are responsible for 40% of criminal activity in the U.S, according to the LELDF. Soros-backed candidates are known for their support of “social justice” and lax criminal justice reform proposals.

“Soros is using that campaign money and the hundreds of millions more for supporting organizations to quietly transform the criminal justice system for the worse, promoting dangerous policies and anti-police narratives to advance his radical agenda,” LELDF President Jason Johnson told The Washington Examiner, the first to publish the analysis.

OPERATION “DUMP FEINSTEIN” CONTINUES

Is there really a need for another long feature story about how Sen. Dianne Feinstein is senile and needs to go? You wouldn’t think so, but New York magazine has a long cover story about how she’s lost it. Yes—strange that a magazine with a supposed focus on New York would be so interested in California’s very senior senator, and while the piece is swathed in lots of sympathetic biography for her 52-year career in public office (!), the subtext that she needs to go is impossible to disguise effectively, starting with the unflattering cover photo which makes her look like a cadaver.

Then there are the savage passages repeating and embellishing previous reporting:

Feinstein, who turns 89 in June, is older than any other sitting member of Congress. Her declining cognitive health has been the subject of recent reporting in both her hometown San Francisco Chronicle and the New York Times. It seems clear that Feinstein is mentally compromised, even if she’s not all gone. . .

Reached by phone two days after 19 children were murdered in an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, in late May, Feinstein spoke in halting tones, sometimes trailing off mid-sentence or offering a non sequitur before suddenly alighting upon the right string of words. She would forget a recently posed question, or the date of a certain piece of legislation, but recall with perfect lucidity events from San Francisco in the 1960s. Nothing she said suggested a deterioration beyond what would be normal for a person her age, but neither did it demonstrate any urgent engagement with the various crises facing the nation.

The old guard is on its way out…and with them the brains of the operation what few there are.

Hmm…. GWB does still have a no fly zone over his house in Dallas.

A Demagogue Lashes Out

There can be little doubt that Biden could use a distraction. The Biden administration has shown itself to be incompetent, irresponsible, and (on its best days) hopelessly adrift. Having reversed many of his predecessor’s policies (to the nation’s detriment) out of blind spite, Biden effectively reinstalled and rearmed the Taliban (unintentionally, perhaps, but with such a staggering display of ineptitude as to provoke Putin’s mad dash into Ukraine). Biden’s asinine energy policies — policies he obstinately refuses to modify — significantly hamper the U.S. economy by effectively strangling domestic energy production. These policy choices are so clearly irrational as to constitute an act of deliberate economic sabotage, sabotage inflicted upon the nation to gratify a small band of green energy fanatics. The southern border has been effectively abolished, exacerbating all manner of criminal activity (well beyond mere mundane illegal entries.) Most recently, the Biden administration failed to act in time to head off a national baby formula shortage. In coming days, we can look forward to worsening inflation, continuing food shortages, rolling blackouts, and a possible Chinese attack on Taiwan.

But in the Oval Office, there is hope. If only enough voters can be coached to resent the Second Amendment and to hate those who in response to scripted pleas of “Enough!” say “Not so fast — let’s do something that might actually work without undermining a fundamental right” — then perhaps Biden’s declining political fortunes may be reversed. A bizarre (though unsurprising) electoral strategy; the Democrats seem incapable of attracting voters via anything other than overheated calls for revenge. Such vulgar hatemongering is unworthy of a president, though par for the course for Biden. If Biden were serious about addressing the nation’s problems, he would work to establish a basis for bipartisan cooperation rather than using a national address to tar and feather his political opponents, but one suspects this is well beyond his capabilities and out of step with his character — or rather lack thereof.

Biden may be spent, viscous, and dull, but thanks to an obliging national media, he and his allies are not without considerable resources. A media that mindlessly parrots accusations of “white supremacy” and “systemic racism” on cue now eagerly steps forward to gin up public hysteria over “assault weapons ” and “weapons of war.” These are, of course, phantoms of the Democratic political imagination — terms of political abuse, pejorative definitions invented to scare a deliberately misinformed public into acceding to (if not demanding) the eradication of a seemingly obvious danger.

What Biden really needs is a binky, a blankie and a nap.

Tucker can be let through just this once, and only because of his guest.

FDA and Pfizer/China Throw Shade on Novavax to Keep Data on Safer Vaccines Out of VAERS

TL;DR – “I believe that mRNA vaccines have serious risks that would be REVEALED by approval of the Novavax vaccine.” –Wolf Moon

I’m actually surprised that FDA and Pfizer/China allowed Novavax to get this close to approval, but they clearly have the upcoming vote RIGGED, just like the 2020 election. The trusty “board mules” that FDA’s Pfizer-lovin’, China-compromised top brass used to approve dangerously experimental, “China-tested”, mRNA vaccines, will suddenly get some phony backbone on myocarditis and virtue signal against a less dangerous vaccine.

Remember Trump getting angry about what FDA and Pfizer (which is really China) did to the J+J vaccine? Same thing.

“Blame the victim.”

It’s how they work, people. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Allow me to explain.

Let’s start off with how I instantly realized what’s in the cards.

As seen on Gateway Pundit, minus my scientific and political explanation of what is going on.

This is DAMN GOOD REPORTING. Thank you, Jim Hoft!

LINK: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/06/u-s-fda-says-novavax-covid-19-vaccine-linked-myocarditis-days-critical-vote/

ARCHIVE: https://archive.ph/WKuqT

This is CLEARLY a set-up to knife Novavax right before a crucial vote. But first, you need to know two things.

(1) Pfizer and Fauci BURNED THE PFIZER mRNA VACCINE PLACEBO GROUPS to hide the problems with the Pfizer vaccine. (The relevance of placebo groups will be explained a bit later.)

(2) According to Pfizer, which proudly revealed the following fact directly from the mouths of Pfizer’s top brass in a more China-virtue-signaling moment (look it up), ALL of their clinical trials (including all the COVID clinical trials of the past) are now run out of China.

SO – if you see all the SHADY SCIENCE that is popping up in the Pfizer documents, and is now being revealed thanks to Naomi Wolf, there is a simple explanation of why Pfizer burned their placebo groups, making it impossible for people to “check their math”.

CHINESE ETHICS (or lack thereof) are in charge of Pfizer’s clinical trials for all drugs and vaccines.

This is the same China that lies and cheats routinely on all things financial, business, manufacturing, etc. They’re the ones in charge of testing the drugs you are being forced to take by “China Joe”.

Yeah. Pretty convenient. Same vaccine our military is forced to take, too. VERY convenient.

This is a perfect example of “total warfare”, TBH. But let’s set that aside for now.

Back to Novavax.

It’s now very clear that the spike protein is a pathogen. We have gone through all the problems of using the pathogenic spike protein as an immunogen (which Robert Malone warned about, by the way, and which FDA ignored). The spike protein causes a lot of problems, including myocarditis and pericarditis, just like the disease itself. Those problems, however, are compounded by TWO aspects of the technology of the Pfizer mRNA vaccines.

(1) mRNA technology itself is dangerous, because the pseudo-mRNA doesn’t shut down promptly, and in principle can never truly meter the amount of pseudo-spike-protein produced. It can dangerously overproduce the protein.

(2) the lipid nanoparticles used by Pfizer reduce acute symptoms by a kind of delayed release, but this also leads to unnatural persistence, migration throughout the body, excretion of the vaccine itself in body lipids (otherwise known as “exposure” or “shedding”), and a variety of symptoms which differ from the disease itself.

These problems are sidestepped by the more well-understood Novavax approach, which being based on a protein vaccine uses a DIFFERENT kind of “nanoparticle” to present a fully formed pseudo-spike-protein – NOT the mRNA for such, to the cells of the recipient. The spike protein is NOT coated with a lipid envelope, but rather is presented in a “ball of spikes” manner similar to an actual virus.

It is extremely likely that protein vaccines like Novavax and Corbevax are – certainly at the moment – substantially safer than mRNA vaccines. That is an EASY hypothesis to make at this point. Any honest scientist who has seen the data so far could make it. Robert Malone, who deeply understands the mRNA technology, which he properly labels “immature“, gets it totally.

One way to see if the relative safety of current protein tech over current mRNA tech is true, would be to approve the very likely safer Novavax and/or Corbevax in the United States, and to begin letting the data from adverse events flow into the VAERS reporting system. This data would get beyond the “small set” problem of the current trial data.

It’s quite obvious WHY Pfizer and FDA would not want this to happen.

It is extremely likely that Novavax and Corbevax would show greater safety relative to both Pfizer and Moderna. This would naturally lead to the question of why Novavax wasn’t fast-tracked to American citizens in 2020 and 2021, instead of Pfizer and Moderna.

Get it? This is a COVER-UP.

Now – let’s look at the actual data. Novavax is underplaying their hand.

Novavax not being Pfizer, the latter with a known, CONVICTED track record of lying and cheating (particularly after they stupidly entrusted their clinical trials to CHINA), let’s assume for a moment that MAYBE the Novavax clinical trial data is not total lies.

Here is the Novavax statement about the myocarditis/pericarditis issue:

NEWS & MEDIA

Novavax Statement on US FDA Briefing Document Related to Myocarditis/Pericarditis

Jun 3, 2022

Throughout the pandemic, as publicly available vaccines have been administered, there have been numerous investigations into findings related to myocarditis. We have learned that we can expect to see natural background events of myocarditis in any sufficiently large database, and that young males are at higher risk. Myocarditis is most often caused by nonspecific viral infections.

The data from our placebo-controlled studies show that overall, in our clinical development program, the rate of myocarditis was balanced between the vaccine and placebo arms (0.007% and 0.005%). Furthermore, in the post-crossover portions of our studies, the cases we have seen are all within the expected rate.

Based on our interpretation of all the clinical data supporting NVX-CoV2373, including over 50,000 participants in clinical trials, we believe there is insufficient evidence to establish a causal relationship. We will continue to monitor all adverse events, including myocarditis and pericarditis.

There are two ways to read this. Both of them argue correctly that the Novavax vaccine should be approved.

One way is to read it at “happy face value”. You are perfectly capable of doing that yourselves.

The other way is to read it, both knowing and admitting the hard truths about these vaccines, and what is actually possible when you make a vaccine against a minor coronavirus, for which the very need and justification are arguable at best.

I will read it the second, more conservative way, and you can follow along, sentence by sentence.

Throughout the pandemic, as publicly available vaccines have been administered, there have been numerous investigations into findings related to myocarditis.

This is another way of carefully admitting that myocarditis (more serious than pericarditis) is a real problem of the vaccines, because it’s a problem of the disease, because they both use the pathogenic spike protein.

We have learned that we can expect to see natural background events of myocarditis in any sufficiently large database, and that young males are at higher risk.

This is true. We’ve learned that myocarditis is a natural background problem for young people, and that the spike protein of the disease, BUT EVEN MORE THE SPIKE PROTEIN OF VACCINES, raises that risk for young people. All of this applying more to young MALES.

Myocarditis is most often caused by nonspecific viral infections.

This is true in general. But it can also be caused by vaccines for viruses, as one might rightly expect, because vaccines are INTENDED as a limited case of the disease.

The data from our placebo-controlled studies show that overall, in our clinical development program, the rate of myocarditis was balanced between the vaccine and placebo arms (0.007% and 0.005%).

This is nice data for Novavax. Yes, the Novavax vaccine raises the risk of myocarditis in those who take it, but that risk is already minuscule, with Novavax only raising it by less than 50%. If you HAD to vaccinate kids, which we don’t, then Novavax is a relatively safe alternative, IMO.

Personally, I don’t think that children need the human vaccine AT ALL, because the DISEASE IS A BETTER VACCINE FOR KIDS. Yeah, think about it. Diseases can be vaccines, and vaccines can be diseases. Open your mind to the history of science, when we knew this stuff.

Furthermore, in the post-crossover portions of our studies, the cases we have seen are all within the expected rate.

This is sneaky wording, but it’s a bit of a KNIFE pointed back at FDA. They all KNOW that this applies to all the other vaccines. And maybe even MORE SO in the case of mRNA vaccines.

What exactly IS the “expected rate” of myocarditis? I’m betting strongly that the “expected rate” of myocarditis and pericarditis GOES UP in all vaccinees, just like it goes up in all people who get COVID and don’t treat it, and that the increase takes the form of probability spiking after the vaccination, then settling down to a slightly elevated risk (vs. before vaccination), further increasing with age.

Does FDA want to go there? Probably not.

Based on our interpretation of all the clinical data supporting NVX-CoV2373, including over 50,000 participants in clinical trials, we believe there is insufficient evidence to establish a causal relationship.

This may very well be true. The clinical set may simply be too small to state conclusively that the difference of 0.002% between vaccine (0.007%) and placebo (0.005%) was caused by anything but randomness. Note that I, personally, am assuming the worst case – that this difference of 0.002% IS IN FACT caused by the pseudo-spike-protein of the vaccine – and am saying that this is still NOT reason enough to not approve the vaccine. APPROVAL will very likely give us the VAERS data to PROVE that there is real risk to all the vaccines, but that it is LESS for Novavax and (if they ever approve it) Corbevax.

And note that I am talking about ALL RISKS – not just myocarditis. My money would be on Novavax being safer than mRNA vaccines in terms of every possible metric, including (very importantly) general immunity. I believe that mRNA vaccines have serious risks that would be REVEALED by approval of the Novavax vaccine.

We will continue to monitor all adverse events, including myocarditis and pericarditis.

Oh, that is a beautiful jab at Pfizer, which BURNED their placebo group.

What will you bet that Novavax is carefully protecting the integrity of their placebo group, because they’re not afraid of the evidence – like Pfizer/China?

Think very carefully about not approving Novavax, FDA. I’ve had your number for quite a while here. Better for you to swallow the bitter medicine of TRUTH, than to let this fester with a China-style cover-up that we will out on these pages every day for many moons.

Dear KAG: 20220607 Open Thread

Cover image: American Lake in Summer by Thomas Cole.

For those who saw this from Menagerie OT over the weekend:

Put in context from the floor of the west transcept of the Cathedral Basilica of STL (photo by DePat):

Without a telephoto lens, it’s hard to do much better. It really does look a lot bigger when you are standing under it.

BTW, this did not make the mainstream. Fifty people were gunned down during Mass. Please, pray for those who truly do suffer religious persecution around the world.

Okay, on to what the heck is going on. Where to start.

Energy stuff:

Yeah, well, it’s worse than that. From Sundance:

Biden Administration Quietly Raised Amount of Ethanol Required in Gasoline from Ten Percent to Fifteen, Three Predictable Problems Will Surface Soon

Even more food used as fuel, and the plant involved is the hardest on farmland in terms of depleting minerals. And then there’s what the stuff does to the inside of internal combustion engines.

More from Sundance:

Biden Administration Declare National Emergency for Clean Energy Production, Invokes Defense Production Act to Facilitate Faster Transformation of Energy Economy Away from Fossil Fuels

On the front side of the justification, the people in control of the Biden administration, claim that current and future increases in energy prices are likely to do severe damage to the economy and the lives of all Americans.  However, in the background of the issue, this is the ‘never let a crisis go to waste’ phase of an energy crisis the administration has intentionally created.

The real goal is to fundamentally transform the foundation of the U.S. economy away from fossil fuels and into a new era of clean renewable energy. This is what all of the Biden cabinet officers now refer to as the “economic transition” phase.  Joe Biden’s announcement today is the triggering of increased government control over the construction of the United States energy system.

Twitter Stuff:

One Step Closer: Elon Musk’s Twitter Takeover Clears Federal Antitrust Review

Elon Musk Threatens to Walk Away from Twitter Deal if the Social Media Company Does Not Provide Transparency on Bots and Spam Accounts

The Chess moves are analyzed by BioClandestine:

Elon correctly calculated the enemy’s moves and counter moves, and lured Twitter into a trap. They have no choice but to lower the price and cut their losses.

If Elon actually wanted to terminate the deal, he would not threaten to do so, he would just do it. This is a tactic to further expose the enemy and also get Twitter at a discounted price. This move not only saves Elon billions of dollars, but most importantly it solidifies the reality that Twitter not only has a high bot count, but they went great lengths to cover it up and profit off of the falsified user data.

This confirms Twitter was/is intentionally conducting nefarious activity. This will lead to extensive audits and eventually, the exposure of calculated bot usage to sway public opinion.

Slowly but surely, the dark secrets of Big Tech are being put on display. One day, the world will know how political entities brainwashed the masses with bot manipulation.

American Culture stuff:

Two different commentary pieces on Monday put forth the same conclusion regarding the mass shootings. Neither mentioned MK ULTRA or psychological experiments, but the point is good.

Guns Are Not the Problem

Americans have owned guns since the founding, but it wasn’t until comparatively recently that mass shootings became a concern. Guns are not the problem. Our culture is. Broken cultures produce broken human beings. For every school shooter, there are thousands of other weak, confused, mentally disturbed men who are drifting away from society. They aren’t dating, aren’t working, and they spend most of their time in their bedrooms playing video games, smoking weed, watching pornography, and stewing in social media echo chambers.

None of this is healthy or normal, but we have been desensitized to dysfunction. It is considered offensive or stodgy even to suggest that things are not as they should be. We’re living in a male-dominated world, we are told over and over. Men are thriving. But it’s the women who are thriving. They are getting educated more than ever, making more money than ever, and they are finding the pickings of marriageable men with secure jobs (thanks, globalization) are slim. The result is fewer marriages, or marriages delayed, and fewer families….

The only times we even hear morals discussed, anymore, are when these shootings sporadically occur. As Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) put it recently, mass shootings are a “mirror” to what has become of our culture. He’s right, but we spend too little time looking in that mirror.

It’s the height of folly that we spend so much time shouting about a handful of mass murders, and almost no time talking about the collapse of our society, about the dysfunction that Americans live with every single day. We seldom hear about shootings in inner cities, where the vast majority of gun violence actually occurs and where the average kid is raised by a single mother. Nor do our politicians seem to care about the opioid crisis, which is killing Americans in record numbers as deadly drugs pour into the country uninterrupted.

Anyone who suggests that there is something wrong with our culture can expect to be mocked as a repressed theocrat projecting his own vices. This was the response to recently resurfaced remarks from J. D. Vance suggesting a ban on pornography. It takes only a moment’s reflection to see that porn is harmful to the formation of healthy, lasting relationships between men and women. It is easier to access and more graphic than ever. For growing numbers of men, it has become a substitute for love and marriage, one that feeds on and fuels feelings of insecurity, bitterness, and rage. But Vance’s proposal was met with universal snickering from liberal trolls: “Show us your browser history.”

Laura Ingraham was likewise derided for talking about the connection between marijuana, which has become more potent in recent years even as PR from lobbyists has cleaned up its image, and mental illness. Like pigs rolling in mud, the Left can’t imagine that anyone lives or could want to live differently than they do, that a higher life, a life of duty and order, is both possible and desirable.

Our moral imaginations have been so blunted by years of “studies show” talk that we forget the basics. Your average school shooter spends months writing the script of his own little action movie that he wants to force society to watch. They are living out a fantasy of glory. The childish, sadistic theatrics of these spectacles bear the imprint of a childish and sadistic popular culture. It is absurd to suggest that the man who dresses up like a “Call of Duty” character to go kill children has not been influenced in some way by gratuitous violence in mass media.

Our vapid, narcissistic “me” culture worships the self, and then we wonder why a handful of deranged people with no audience go out and make a spectacle of carnage. We seem to have acquired a strange skittishness of the word “evil” when these shootings occur.

The Texas School Shooting Is Proof Our Society Is Crumbling Into an Existential Crisis

However, in my view, people are now looking for simple solutions to a problem which likely has more complicated answers. Not many have acknowledged that perhaps such tragedies are in part due to problems much deeper rooted in modern-day America.

Since the post-modern takeover of American society, we have witnessed family breakdown at an unprecedented rate. According to the Pew Research Center, two-parent households have been on the decline, while divorce filings have been steadily increasing.

This means that more than ever, there is an immense lack of stable familial and community support in American society for which Generation Z seems to be paying a heavy price by being the age group most likely to have been brought up in a single-parent setting compared to previous generations.

Nearly one quarter of American children now reside in a single-parent living arrangement. It seemed that the Texas school shooter, Salvador Ramos, was one of such children. He did not reside with his father; in fact, he had not met his father since the pandemic began in 2020.

This shift from an established family structure to a more atomized way of living is now an unavoidable part of life for many young people. Various studies have consistently revealed consequences manifesting in the most devastating ways.

Food for thought for all of us.

More from BioClandestine on the Russia/Ukraine thing and the “elites” who are trying to kill us:

There are approximately 330 documented US DoD funded biolabs worldwide, in addition to the CDC, the WHO, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Clinton Foundation, Pfizer, Moderna, etc.; all of which are pouring billions and billions of dollars into “preventative” biological research and vaccines.

All these global resources, and what did they accomplish? How did they do anything to deter, prevent, treat, or cure C19? And now Monkeypox? Whatever they are doing with the billions and billions of our tax payer dollars, doesn’t appear to be working. In fact they only seem to make it worse.

So for those who still refuse to subscribe to the inconvenient reality that the US biolab network is malicious… you cannot deny that the US biolab network has been at least completely incompetent, if not willfully negligent.

And this malice/negligence caused Russia to use military force to intervene in US biological activity near the Russian border, because the US has clearly shown they are not to be trusted with our biological capabilities.

Keep in mind, the US government and western media denied the existence of these labs at all. Only for them to reluctantly have to admit the labs exist days later. If these labs truly were defensive and they have nothing to hide, why did they vehemently deny the existence of the labs in the first place? Why did they launch a mass censorship and smear campaign against me for pointing out these labs existed? Why did 43 separate publications label me by name and label my story as a “conspiracy theory”? Why put forth so much effort to cover up something if there’s nothing to cover up?

The US government and media are admitting they lied to you earlier about there being no labs… but they are being super serious and honest THIS time when they tell you the labs they said didn’t exist, are actually 100% defensive, not nefarious at all, and nobody needs to investigate it or talk about it in any way, shape, or form.

You don’t need to be a psychologist to recognize rudimentary tells of human dishonesty and deception. The People can smell bullshit from miles away, and everything pertaining to the US biological network reeks of fresh manure.

Blowing off steam re Congress American Thinker style:

In theory, Congress is supposed to represent the American people; in practice, of course, those self-important, backstabbing, double-dealing swindlers represent anybody but the American people.  A half-century of open borders while American citizens have overwhelmingly demanded they be shut, thirty years of new-world-order globalization while American workers have overwhelmingly demanded their old jobs back, and too many decades of costly foreign wars while our service members are overwhelmingly abandoned upon their return all attest to Congress’s only real guiding principle: Americans don’t matter.

Hey, when you’re in cahoots with the Davos Death Cult, print and spend money to abet the hustle of the global financial elite, wield the U.S. military as a mercenary force for protecting well-paying friends, and reap the benefits of widespread money-laundering and insider trading that would send anyone other than members of Congress (and their families) straight to prison, why would you care about ordinary Americans?  We are so…what’s the word?…expendable.  And uncouth.  Quick, somebody build multiple layers of fencing around the Capitol to keep the riffraff far from those who pretend to be their humble public servants.  We must protect the nobility from the dangerous animals roaming flyover country!  It’s as disgraced former FBI counterespionage chief and Russia collusion hoaxer Peter Strzok once texted about his daunting experience in a southern Virginia Walmart: “I could smell the Trump support.”  To me, Disinformation Fraud Pete’s stinky-head slur against those he swore to serve encapsulates perfectly Washington’s curdling contempt for the American people.

Out here in the real world, we have real problems.  Biden’s forced transition to a Green New Deal utopia — where we can all live happily dependent on wind farms, solar panels, and fairy dust made from transgender pronouns — has pushed an economy already teetering from a century of central bank funny money and congressional profligacy and decades of forced vassalage to Middle Eastern oil tyrants and cheap Chinese manufacturing to the brink of an inflationary collapse.  After four years of much-needed, salubrious deregulation set into motion by President Trump and his America-First economic team of patriots (including the estimable Peter Navarro, whom the Sovietized Congress and Stasi FBI have decided to arrest for the unpardonable sins of increasing Main Street wealth while disrespecting the D.C. despots’ “authoritah”), Build Back Better’s Marxist hooligans have put the pedal to the metal on unleashing a torrent of job-killing, wealth-confiscating, inventory-destroying “Great Reset” rules that have turbocharged rampant inflation and obliterated the economy in record time.

I admit it. The first album I bought was a Shaun Cassidy.

Something to remember, always.

Per the boss’s instruction:

I’d throw in a few Rockefellers and Rothschilds also.

Of course, this does not mean committing felonies, but standing up to the forces that want to tear this nation – and humanity apart. The very people XVII told us will be destroyed by the time this movie comes to an end are currently roaming the halls of power…supposedly. It’s a sickening sight.

Your weekly reminder to take the pledge:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out. There is also a “rescue” thread there for members of the Tree to rendezvous if the main site goes kablooey. A third site has been added for site outages of longer duration.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And Auntie DePat’s requests:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

1 KINGS 17:7-16

7And after a while the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land. 8Then the word of the LORD came to him, 9“Arise, go to Zar’ephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.” 10So he arose and went to Zar’ephath; and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, “Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.” 11And as she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, “Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.” 12And she said, “As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of meal in a jar, and a little oil in a cruse; and now, I am gathering a couple of sticks, that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.” 13And Eli’jah said to her, “Fear not; go and do as you have said; but first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make for yourself and your son. 14For thus says the LORD the God of Israel, `The jar of meal shall not be spent, and the cruse of oil shall not fail, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.'” 15And she went and did as Eli’jah said; and she, and he, and her household ate for many days. 16The jar of meal was not spent, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke by Eli’jah.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast down to Hell Satan and all his evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Dear KMAG: 20220606 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And indeed, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

…and we will have fun doing it, too!

The Rules

Boilerplate, more or less, but worth reading again and again, if only for the minor changes, and to stay out of moderation.

The bottom line is Free Speech. Theories and ideas you don’t agree with must be WELCOME here, and you must be part of that welcoming. But you do NOT need to be part of any agreement.

Bottom line – respect other people’s FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.

Our only additional requirement is that you do so NICELY. Or at least try to make some effort in that direction.

SO….. [ENGAGE BOILERPLATE…..]

We must endeavor to persevere to love our frenemies – even here.

Those who cannot deal with this easy requirement will be forced to jump the hoops of moderation, so that specific comments impugning other posters and violating the minimal rules can be sorted out and tossed in the trash.

In Wheatie’s words, “We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

That includes the life skill of just ignoring certain other posters.

We do have a site – The U Tree – where civility is not a requirement. Interestingly, people don’t really go there much. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in an “argument” that can’t really stay civil, please feel free to “take it to the U Tree”. The U Tree is also a good place to report any technical difficulties, if you’re unable to report them here. Please post your comment there on one of Wolf’s posts, or in reply to one of Wolf’s comments, to make sure he sees it (though it may take a few hours).

We also have a backup site, called The Q Tree as well, which is really The Q Tree 579486807. You might call it “Second Tree”. The URL for that site is https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/. If this site (theqtree.com) ever goes down, please reassemble at the Second Tree.

If the Second Tree goes down, please go to The U Tree, or to our Gab Group, which is located at https://gab.com/groups/4178.

We also have some “old rules” and important guidelines, outlined here, in a very early post, on our first New Year’s Day, in 2019. The main point is not to make violent threats against people, which then have to be taken seriously by law enforcement, and which can be used as a PRETEXT by enemies of this site.

In the words of Wheatie, “Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

A Moment of Prayer

Our policy on extreme religious freedom on this site is discussed HERE. Please feel free to pray and praise God anytime and anywhere.

Thus, please pray for our real President, the one who actually won the election.

You may also pray for our nation, our world, and even our enemies.

Call To Battle

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Day Year Week:

ecdemic

adjective

not endemic; of foreign origin

used in a sentence (or two):

“The WEF, Demmunist and ChiCom criminals are careful to avoid release of obviously ecdemic strains. Nonetheless, if they make a mistake, or if a release strains credulity when asserted to be of natural origin, the vicious fake news will happily assist in tamping down speculation of an intentional or even accidental release.”

ENJOY THE SHOW

Have another great week!
