Just stopping in briefly to talk about this important result. I wish I could spend more time on this, but I have to get back to work.
This primary was important for both Trump and Vivek – and for me. We MUST defeat Lockdown Amy and Proggy Pepper. Ohio is SCREWED if these socialists win. They probably cannot win, but we cannot let down our guard.
Yes, Ramaswamy is “polished” to the level of being “Ratha-smarmy”. But he also has “the stuff” – and I mean the stuff that a certain President has even more of.

Vivek’s “Republican” opponent, Casey Putsch, shouldn’t have even been on the ballot, much less getting 15% of the vote, and in a sane world, he would have gotten NADA, ZILCH, NOTHING. We need to talk about the Retard Right and why they fail. It pains me to say this as I like Casey and believe he had genuinely good ideas that would have economically revitalized Ohio, such as his infrastructure plans. 1) Don’t attack Trump.
The image of Casey Putsch burning his MAGA hat doomed him right out of the gate. You need his blessing or at least his neutrality to get anywhere.

(WARNING: Broad generalizations and stereotypes ahead, but they are borne of extensive personal experience. Remember, most stereotypes have a basis in fact.)
One of the things that struck me in my years of living in the SF Bay Area is just how narrow-minded and poorly-traveled leftist Californians tend to be.
Ask a “progressive” Californian if they are well traveled, and they will invariably claim that they are. They will cite a summer in Paris, or a condo in Cabo San Lucas, or perhaps the time they visited their grandparents in Orange County one Christmas break.
In my experience, leftist, white Californians (particularly wealthy ones) tend to view California as a cosmopolitan place that in and of itself grants a worldly viewpoint. Couple that with the fact that to the extent they do travel, it is to places where like-minded Californians also congregate, like the aforementioned Paris summer or the Cabo condo, and you have a perfect storm of self-assured yet unjustified worldliness.
Then ask them their thoughts on Alabama, or Kansas, or North Dakota, and they will paint a picture of insane racism, white supremacy and inbred low IQs.
Then ask them how many times they have ever actually visited Alabama, Kansas or North Dakota.
Then watch the blank stares.
Leftist Californians in deep blue enclaves like the Bay Area or LA view themselves as superior human beings BECAUSE they live in California. They see themselves as having elevated consciousnesses, which grants them the ability to understand the “evils” of places like Alabama, Kansas or North Dakota. Ask them how they know what those evils are, and they will stare at you dismissively as if you just questioned the existence of gravity or photosynthesis.
As someone who lived for years in the Deep South, the ridiculous ideas Californians hold about such places (without ever having visited) were shocking for me to behold. There are Californians who fervently believe that the South is still Democrat Jim Crow, they have no idea just how racially integrated the South actually is, and it never dawns on them just how segregated and racist their own state is. (“Oh those poor black people in Oakland. How can they survive without our help?”)
(This is oh-so-ironic to me, because as half of a black/white interracial marriage we encountered more racism in wealthy Silicon Valley towns than we ever did anywhere in the South. The California racism is mostly in the form of the “soft bigotry of low expectations,” but it is nevertheless powerful, insulting and exceptionally pervasive.)
Many times during my sojourn in the Golden State was I shocked at the sheer venomous hatred that spewed forth from otherwise educated people when discussing MAGA or MAGA states. (I think I was exposed to that so openly because they wrongly assumed a Silicon Valley lawyer in an interracial marriage MUST be a Democrat like them.)
The life experiences that many of us non-Californians possess are alien to many Californians. I vividly recall my first law firm in Palo Alto, where my veteran status made me a rare hothouse flower. It was not that I was the only veteran in that workplace; instead it was that for most of the people I worked with (almost all well-to-do, highly educated, prep school grad, white, native Californians) I was the ONLY VETERAN THEY HAD EVER MET.
California has this weird effect on its native population. It is so big, so full of natural beauty, so wealthy, so influential via Hollywood and Silicon Valley and so ethnically diverse that many of its natives assume they have all the answers, yet in reality those same Californians are among the most narrow-minded people full of wrongheaded opinions borne of homogenous media propaganda that I have ever met.
There is this idea in mass media that a reporter going to a place like Nebraska to “understand” Trump voters is like Jane Goodall visiting the highland gorillas. In reality, expeditions need to be made into the dark enclaves of California Democrat wealth to help them understand that they lack all the answers and that most of what they believe regarding the rest of the country is dangerously inaccurate.
I know I am generalizing. I know there are MANY Californians who do not fit this mold, and there are entire regions of the state that despise what the state has become.
Nevertheless, the wealthy white Democrats who RULE California definitely do fit this mold.
There is a reason California was able to produce Cole Allen. That reason is the insular, narrow-minded nature of too many Californians.

The accuser didn’t care. She calls the guy (all of this is on video), and tells him she’s going to accuse him of raping her.
He says she better not do that. She laughs and says why not? And the guy (looked like he was in high school or college) said because he’s recording the phone call.
She didn’t care. No remorse, no “uh oh, I’m busted”, nothing. She didn’t care, she was going to do it anyway, because why not?
She can destroy him socially, destroy his reputation, just because she wants to, and she will suffer zero penalty.
She’s untouchable.

I have to say that I find this all incredibly sad. I understand where you are coming from (as best as I can) but I have had very different experiences.
One of my dearest friends, who stood up in my wedding, is Black. We bonded in grad school & in particular on a missions trip to Liberia where I was the only White person on the team & usually in sight for those 3 weeks.
My husband got incredibly close to a Black man who worked with him more than 20 years ago. They share a deep bond in the Lord. Though we see them quite rarely they are also parents of a special needs child & our closeness is real. When Josiah got married we had them sit with us at our table at the reception. We also gathered later at Hubby’s hunting buddy’s gentleman’s farm, 2 white families & one black. It was a Beautiful Time of fellowship in the Lord!
I encounter many Black people in public, especially in the health care settings I encounter with my son &/or my dad. Some of the most meaningful & heartfelt encounters have been with Black men who were janitorial staff. These men are often Believers but have had a deep level of compassion that they’ve poured out on me following random conversations about difficult health related topics.
2 such men ministered to me at my dad’s recent hospitalization. Another such man (as well as a Black male doctor) at Josiah’s hospitalization last year & yet another Black janitor when Josiah was in-patient for the Liver Transplant.
I’ve spoken to several Black strangers at my door or out in the community & I’ve almost always started the conversation. I make it a point to look people in the eyes & treat them like how I’d like to be treated. Most of these people have had a look in their eyes that makes me think that they also know the Lord. I usually end up asking as the conversation winds down. I tell them that I saw the Light in their eyes & thought that they knew the Lord. I cannot tell you of the Joy that we end up sharing as we recognize that we are brothers/sisters in Christ!
Granted these are selective interactions. If there was a group of young black men/women that are acting hostile &/or foolish I would avoid them. I would also avoid Anyone of ANY Race who gives off similar vibes. It’s behavioral “profiling” not race per se.

COMMENTARY FOR JAMES 1:17
This epistle of James is one of the most instructive writings in the New Testament. Being chiefly directed against particular errors at that time brought in among the Jewish Christians, it does not contain the same full doctrinal statements as the other epistles, but it presents an admirable summary of the practical duties of all believers. The leading truths of Christianity are set forth throughout; and on attentive consideration, it will be found entirely to agree with St. Paul’s statements concerning grace and justification, while it abounds with earnest exhortations to the patience of hope and obedience of faith and love, interspersed with warnings, reproofs, and encouragements, according to the characters addressed. The truths laid down are very serious, and necessary to be maintained; and the rules for practice ought to be observed in all times. In Christ there are no dead and sapless branches, faith is not an idle grace; wherever it is, it brings forth fruit in works.How to apply to God under troubles, and how to behave in prosperous and in adverse circumstances. (1-11) To look upon all evil as proceeding from ourselves,
and all good from God. (12-18) The duty of watching against a rash temper, and of receiving the word of God with meekness. (19-21) And of living according thereto. (22-25) The difference between vain pretences and real religion. (26,27)
12-18 It is not every man who suffers, that is blessed; but he who with patience and constancy goes through all difficulties in the way of duty. Afflictions cannot make us miserable, if it be not our own fault. The tried Christian shall be a crowned one. The crown of life is promised to all who have the love of God reigning in their hearts. Every soul that truly loves God, shall have its trials in this world fully recompensed in that world above, where love is made perfect. The commands of God, and the dealings of his providence, try men’s hearts, and show the dispositions which prevail in them. But nothing sinful in the heart or conduct can be ascribed to God. He is not the author of the dross, though his fiery trial exposes it. Those who lay the blame of sin, either upon their constitution, or upon their condition in the world, or pretend they cannot keep from sinning, wrong God as if he were the author of sin. Afflictions, as sent by God, are designed to draw out our graces, but not our corruptions. The origin of evil and temptation is in our own hearts. Stop the beginnings of sin, or all the evils that follow must be wholly charged upon us. God has no pleasure in the death of men, as he has no hand in their sin; but both sin and misery are owing to themselves. As the sun is the same in nature and influences, though the earth and clouds, often coming between, make it seem to us to vary, so God is unchangeable, and our changes and shadows are not from any changes or alterations in him. What the sun is in nature, God is in grace, providence, and glory; and infinitely more. As every good gift is from God, so particularly our being born again, and all its holy, happy consequences come from him. A true Christian becomes as different a person from what he was before the renewing influences of Divine grace, as if he were formed over again. We should devote all our faculties to God’s service, that we may be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles.
