Pled vs. Pleaded
Both words are past tense of the verb Plead.
I was taught though, that Pled was the more correct past tense of Plead…similar to how ‘bled‘ is the past tense of ‘bleed‘…and that Pleaded was not exactly good grammar.
I was taught if used at all, that Pleaded was only to be used in more recent circumstances.
Example:
She pled for his innocence last week.
She pleaded for his innocence today.
However…Pled could also be used there:
She pled for his innocence today.
Lately I have noticed that Pleaded is being used more, almost to the exclusion of Pled. This has got to be another leftist plot to destroy our English language.
Just a quick note to let you know that – if you think this site has gotten slower lately, as the election approaches, it is NOT your imagination. The site is getting slower and slower, because EMBEDDED TWEETS are loading slower and slower.
I don’t know WHY they are loading slower and slower, but they are.
I finally had enough, and turned off scripts in my browser, so that I don’t see the full graphics of Tweets.
It is well within Twitter’s rights to choose IF and HOW MUCH it wants to serve tweet data to pages not its own. It may even limit data for ideological reasons, because that is a stated part of their policy – that they can limit their data going to sites based on THEIR (Twitter’s) policy toward content on those sites. Twitter has explicitly stated that it will even pass judgment on is own users, on Twitter, for content posted elsewhere, so passing judgment for TWITTER data posted elsewhere is simply to be expected.
To beat this slow-down, you need to TURN OFF SCRIPTS on this site, using whatever browser or privacy extensions you happen to be using. You will then have to click on URLs in Tweets to see them fully, in the same tab or a new tab. Pretty much like any other link.
Without scripts, your browser will likely load the TEXT of the tweet, but not the full contents of the Tweet, including pictures, videos, etc.
It is a small price to pay, for FAST LOADS and NO WEIRD UP-SCROLLING after the loading. That weird up-scrolling is due to the full loading of embedded Tweets. Turn off scripts and it is gone – but so are pictures in Tweets.
It’s a tough choice, but you may want to make it.
Meanwhile, consider Parler. Parler offers links that provide a fast view of a “Parley” in a new tab if one chooses to click the link.

You saw the Trump Tweet(TM) above – no longer showing the “manipulated media” that was used to remove the awesome “Carpe Donktum” from Twitter.
Here is what it DID look like.
It’s extremely interesting that THIS – the “permanent suspension” of Carpe Donktum – was the event that began a SURGE of movement from Twitter to Parler. Yes, there was a lot of building pressure:
Laura Loomer surging ahead strongly as a congressional candidate with almost no presence on Twitter, only Parler and Gab
Devin Nunes urging people to get on Parler
Dan Bongino moving onto Parler and tag-teaming on the issue with Nunes on Twitter
Rudy Giuliani urging people to go to Parler
Gab dropping its Twitter account because of its own sudden explosive growth
What this did was to get a bunch of “Twitter personalities” on the political right to:
set up Parler accounts
comment about having set up the accounts
advocate that their followers follow them onto Parler
This quickly reached a critical point, where there were ENOUGH “famous” accounts on Parler, that Twitter personalities felt comfortable “sticking up for Parler” on Twitter.
If one went onto Parler to follow these accounts, some very noticeable things had happened:
suggested follows were as well-known or more so than whoever one was going there to follow
posts on Parler by “big names” had occurred recently
like/reply/echo numbers on Parler posts were BIG and had accumulated QUICKLY
in other words, the “Twitter incentives” were happening on Parler
Parler is still, in my opinion, a bit clunky and slow. However, it is getting better, and it is very likely going to be a very comfortable place for a lot of people.
Gab is still, in my opinion, a bit too edgy for most “boomers”. However, it is getting better, and is also going to be a very comfortable place for many of you. It is also where we have both a GROUP and a strong CHAT / PM capability.
I recommend getting on BOTH Parler and Gab, and letting us know your Parler and Gab names, including BOTH your actual user name(s) AND your display name(s).
The tenacity of @SidneyPowell1 is remarkable. If she were defending a leftist client, she would be the toast of the town, profiled glowingly in every corporate media outlet. (1) Don’t tell anybody we’re spying on Flynn’s calls [to nail him via the Logan Act, which MUELLER will handle, looking for process crimes].
(2) Flynn’s calls [DARN, DARN, DARN IT ALL] appear to be legitimate.
Let’s say that Comey is being honest here, but he’s NOT trying to catch Obama. He’s just informing his fellow conspirators of the reality that Flynn is acting legitimately, and they cannot catch him [at least at this moment] in an actual crime.
Based on statements Comey has made about race, IMO he was and remains controlled by racial guilt.
But until now, we have not really seen how Obama would operate within that context.
I had predicted, years ago, that the SPECIFIC DYSFUNCTION in my old end of the swamp – which I have referred to as “Shallow State”, was based on what OBAMA had done to the federal government. I called it “Obamatization”. Part of the dysfunction was that our system became very “top-down” with almost complete loss of “bottom-up” input. Any “bottom-up” or “grassroots” was FAKE or SABOTAGED.

But now I would like to REMIND everybody about one possible reason WHY Adam Schiff – serial liar and hoaxer – is so utterly HUNG UP on a really stupid idea that might be called “VACCINES CAN DO NO WRONG” – an utterly untenable scientific position, despite all the GOOD that smart, honest, proven and well-tested vaccines – like drugs – have to offer.
Adam Schiff – very wrongly – believes that any position other than “vaccines can do no wrong” is “misinformation“.

One of the PROOFS that vaccines can indeed “do harm” is the fact that vaccine candidates are FAILED all the time for such harm.
ANOTHER such proof is that THIS HARM is exactly the principle on which STERILITY VACCINES are based.
Sterility vaccines (or sterilization vaccines – take your pick) are DESIGNED to cause very specific harm that will render people STERILE without otherwise harming them.
It is important to know that significant progress has been made on these things.

And eugenicists are probably still around, although I think they keep a pretty low profile. But they certainly seem plausible. Enough that people believe science fiction involving such things is “highly likely to happen”.

It is important to understand what the SATANIC AMERICAN BOLSHEVIKS did to you, General Mattis – and all you others who FAIL to understand what is going on here.

Communism needs to get you to LIE.
Getting you to TOLERATE lies comes first, but eventually, communists must GET YOU TO LIE YOURSELF, and to lie TO YOURSELF.
There are many people who don’t even like to tell “white lies”. Those people do NOT allow a communist / socialist state to “progress” – to MOVE “FORWARD” – on LIES.
What has to be done with those people is to get them into the WADING POOL OF LYING – namely a “good lie”. Thus, FALSE VIRTUES are constructed, against which resistance becomes psychologically burdensome if not painful. This accounts for the RELIEF FELT when we GIVE IN to the virtue signal, and virtue signals are given to communist falsehoods. This relief is almost orgasmic – it is nearly sexual in its psychology – and the LEFT knows this.
EXAMPLE: “All POWs are HEROES.”
Remember – this idea did not come from the RIGHT – it came from THE LEFT. The idea that all POWs were somehow “heroes” came from American BOLSHEVIKS who “opposed” the Vietnam War – a BAIT WAR – that THEIR CIA started, and which THEIR politicians limited to insure a “loss” – pure PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE.
This is an incredibly important point. This is a technique that the BOLSHEVIK LEFT uses over and over again, to FLANK US ON THE RIGHT – to get us to make VIRTUE SIGNALS TO THE RIGHT.
FALSE virtue signals to the RIGHT are every bit as DANGEROUS as false virtue signals to the LEFT.
There was a Hollywood KGB-CIA psy-op movie – THE DEER HUNTER – which was used to help deliver the psy-op message of “all POWs are heroes” by playing on YOUR EMOTIONS. It was stunningly beautiful propaganda.
It was hard to see it then. It’s easy to see now.
There are MANY REASONS that these things are done – they INTERLOCK and SUPPORT EACH OTHER. Be sure to arm yourself with “AND” LOGIC when BOLSHEVIK TOOLS come at you and say things “must have been done” for ONE REASON ***OR*** THE OTHER. This is XOR BULLSHIT. Satanists and communists LOVE complex, interlocking, self-supporting actions – things done for multiple reasons which obscure each other – all of which are built on LIES which roll you “forward” on intentionally designed and highly dishonest shifting sands.
What follows is merely ONE REASON – just one of many – why the “all POWs are heroes” virtue signal was done. It was a future REAP on a VIRTUE SIGNAL which was SOWED in the past.
The fact that John McCain – highly controlled opposition of the communists who was deeply studied and brainwashed by the Soviets and Chinese in Vietnam – was a beneficiary of this program – a false “hero” – is NO ACCIDENT. He was used as a credible weak candidate to push the VIRTUE SIGNAL of voting for communist Barack Obama. McCain – believe it or not – ELEVATED Barack Obama.

Note that I often refer to Ted Lieu as “The Two-Step ChiCom” – where step one is that somebody comes to America and appears loyal, while step two is for immigrant, immigrating child, or American-born offspring to show true communist colors in REALITY. If you understand how socialist psychology works, people don’t even have to be CONSCIOUS of this process, because faux refugee socialist parents – or even socialist-influenced parents – will do the trick.
Two-stepping is a POWERFUL technique. STALIN used it all the time.

The FIRST STEP is simply to get you to KNEEL.
