OK, good – this is making sense. I think most of the doubles stuff was discreditational crap – sadly, most of the stuff that DePat believed being chaff – but I suspect that there was SOME of it that wasn’t, and typically stuff that wasn’t seen or in the media, for the most part (because the first rule would be to avoid cameras and minimize the problem that way). As you always say, no speaking, no close inspection. But IMO they could have used fakes to support the stories needed on the autopen.
Wasn’t there some case where one of Biden’s “doubles” was actually caught on film? I seem to recall one case which was real that we caught here and validated. It was just some case where Jill was with the guy at some public, non-speaking thing, walking with him, IIRC. The guy was too tall, too healthy, and on close inspection was close but no cigar on key facial features – even to my skeptical eye.
I suspect that most of the doubles stuff was chaff, to hide the few real times they needed him to be some place or the other, for reasons analogous to the auto-pen crap.

Whoever it is, they have Biden’s elderly mannerisms down at near 100%. Very interesting. A skinny suit can make legs look longer and the person look taller (a trick I’m familiar with), but this looks like more than that can accomplish. If it’s a camera effect, it’s a different one that heightens toward the middle. I am going to remain non-committed on this one.

Having gone to look at the seal and flag, there is ONE difference between the star pattern on the SES flag and that on the EU flag. ONE. And that is that the SES flag has thirteen (not twelve) stars on it.
On the Betsy Ross flag the stars are white and one point of each star points directly to the center of the circle (whereas the EU and SES stars all point “up”).

I’m guessing delayed grief will also hit me about my mother’s death. I’ve been running on adrenaline for the last 3 weeks with non-stop “chaos” since Mother’s Day weekend, with Josiah’s procedure on May 12, Mom’s death on May 16, Josiah’s 70% chance of death in 2 days on May 20, then funeral related events May 28-30 (Josiah & I back from the hospital a few days before all that). We are so worn out in my home right now & haven’t Really had time to process all that upheaval & grief. In person interactions over that 3 week period might be more typical for me over the course of a Year not just part of a month–yikes!
God will be getting us both through the sorrow, pain, & weariness. In Jesus’ Love ❤
I’m just including the basic outline of what happened between Mom & Josiah here, as I’m still processing things & I’m guessing that You, in particular, might understand…
5/11 Mother’s Day, parents wanted to come over to celebrate with our extended family but Mom was having another bad day. We stopped by with food & gifts, the last time I saw my mother alive 💔 Mom’s last time with most Currens was Easter…
My mom’s final week, 5 am fall on 5/12 (Dad’s B-day) in bedroom, EMTs to get her off the floor & then to ER. She hit her head twice & required staples & a stitch on her scalp. Daughter Clarissa spent an hour cleaning blood off their bedroom floor & another hour cleaning blood out of her grandma’s clothing–last time she saw her grandma alive 🙁
5/12 10 am Josiah’s endoscopic procedure started
5/13 2am Josiah to ER w/ complications, Acute (later Severe) Pancreatitis; 17 hours in ER
5/13 late J to 5th floor hospital room w/ roommate (we were told he’d be alone due to risk of infection)–only 2 hours there
5/14 very early, J to isolation room on 7th floor as he tested positive for Metapneumovirus & they put him in isolation to protect others “now”, droplet precautions; 36 hours this room
5/13-5/15 Mom fell 2 other times, once on the floor for 5 hours, fell asleep in exhaustion
5/15 J transferred to airlock isolation room on 6th floor, still droplet precautions, needed “cardiac telemetry” due to electrolyte imbalance.
5/15 afternoon EMT son Brandon evaluates Mom with problematic vitals, facts in writing for Dad to use as he contemplates what to do.
5/15 evening Dad & little bro tour assisted living facility, earliest they can take Mom is 5/20; later Mom unresponsive & taken by Ambulance back to ER, vitals stabilized
5/15-5/16 numerous calls, texts (using Josiah’s cell phone), & email to set up & then eventually cancel the 5/16 am meeting with Visiting Angels homecare who could conceivably start as early as 5/17 in parents’ home
5/16 early morning Mom is diagnosed with perforated bowel, septic shock, & early stage multi-organ failure, 2 options dangerous surgery with at best 20% “success” rate, comfort care to death–comfort route is chosen. She won’t live through the day…
5/16 10:15 am Mom dies, I’m originally on Josiah’s cell as decisions are being debated but his battery dies; I’m on a house phone in elevator alcove when they take mom off the Ventilator & stop IV support meds that stabilized her. On daughter’s cell for final 15 minutes of Mom’s life, in small “waiting room” just Clarissa, 2 yo Lillian, & me in the girl’s room. Dad, my little brother Mike, & my EMT son Brandon in Mom’s death room.
5/16 afternoon Nathaniel & Brandon come to visit Josiah a U of M Hospital & join Clarissa, Lillian, & I. We end up laughing & crying together over Mom. I’m up more than 36 hours before crashing asleep in chair for an hour or so before the drive home.
5/16 late I return home to assist with funeral etc. duties, 1st time home since J’s ER run
5/17 Dad, Hubby Michael, little brother Mike, & I make arrangements at funeral home
5/18-5/19 I’m still at home & doing huge amounts of communication, barely sleeping, trying to get as much death related responsibilities handled before back to hospital for duration of J’s stay
5/19 late, after dinner, back with Josiah at the hospital, he’s done pretty well considering
5/20 2 am team of doctors & staff gather around J’s bed trying to convince him to accept blood products because he has a GI bleed & his red cell count, which should be 12 went from 7 to 5.8 to 5.4. They say 70% chance he dies in 2 days if no blood. At some point they did a CT scan & later a repeat ERCP (same procedure that kicked off the pancreatitis) to try to localize bleeding source, which is never found.
5/20 as first of 2 units of blood is given they transfer J to the 6th floor ICU & he gets second unit of blood (he was on the 5th floor ICU post Liver Transplant 2013)
5/21 further procedures are debated but as the red cell count was climbing into the 8s they take a wait & see approach
5/23 ultimately J is sent home from ICU, he’s very pale, tired w/ lots of sleeping, & weak
5/24-5/26 Michael & Brandon Up North, via hunting shacks, to check on storm damage, then to parents’ Cottage to repair storm damage. Clarissa & Lillian help w/ yard work. They wanted the Cottage ready for whenever Dad is ready to head North to Mom’s grave
5/23-5/27 J & I completely exhausted, I resume death related duties
5/28 evening funeral home visitation
5/29 afternoon/evening gathering of family & my Godmother at little brother’s lake house
5/30 funeral at parents’ church, both legs of trip in Detroit rush hour as it’s all that long
5/30 we drive Dad home from funeral & handle the floral situation between 3 households
I’m so thankful for the many prayers that helped sustain me/us through these challenges! 😇 💔 🙏

Amen. He’s still on the slow upswing, very pale, & tires very easily, also falls asleep multiple times a day (healing at home instead of the hospital). He decided yesterday not to go to work today (usually works MWF 4-5 hours/day). He gets tired vacuuming a 10 X 12 room or doing dishes for 10-15 minutes. Guess it’s going to be a while before his red blood cell count is closer to the “normal” range. God’s good!
What is your feeling or knowledge now about the original endoscopy? Was it medically necessary? Was it the cause of all this? Are his doctors going to be more careful about doing such exams in the future? I know it’s still early to think about such things, but I’m troubled by these events, and am hoping bad things can be stopped from happening again, by asking the right questions while people still have the facts in front of them.
I think the original endoscopy was necessary as there was a narrowing (anastomosis?) where his new liver was sewn to original biliary structures, part of the biliary tree as I understand it. His alkaline phosphatase numbers were high & had been significantly elevated for more than a year. The new imaging process, looked like ultrasound with Doppler (similar to his routine echocardiograms but on the liver not heart) showed that that suture location was narrowed & the “tube” behind it was bulging out with “sludgy” bile products.
People were pretty shocked that he was 12 years post-transplant & had never yet had an ERCP! I think they are fairly “common” for liver transplant recipients…
His Extremely Atypical biliary structures were likely more the issue with why the first ERCP lead to pancreatitis, as instruments that are normally stationary kept shifting in his unusual anatomy which repeated repositioning motion May have caused, or contributed to, his internal irritation (adjacent to the pancreas). He was having the “best endoscopic doctor at U of M” doing his procedure & her reputation is “world class” so that people come from around the world to have her care for them. She did the second ERCP & he had Zero issues from that one! She is scheduled to do the one in 3 months to remove the stent, as well.
I asked why the stent couldn’t be removed with the second procedure, just a few days after the stent was placed. This stent has a spring like mechanism, putting pressure on the narrowed suture site to hopefully cause it to open up a bit. The stent cannot be left in permanently as it’s not designed for such usage & will adhere to tissues eventually & is prone to infection, unlike permanent cardiac stents, for example–I asked!
They did a “sphincterectomy” on the tube coming off the pancreas then went out that opening to get into the biliary tree to the narrowing in the transplant suture site. The size of the stent is roughly similar to a 5″ pencil & Maybe the stent went from the narrowed suture site to that sphincterectomy as sort of a bridge where the bile might flow, not sure.
They cleared the built up sludge behind the narrowing & on the second ERCP (where everything looked “perfect” & there was no sign of the bleeding that was anticipated to have originated there) they cleared a small amount of “debris” in the stent & added a “pigtail” to help the stent not shift position.
This endoscopic doctor is now the only one with a clear idea of the “treasure map” of Josiah’s internal structures. I’d trust her to do the best job possible going forward, especially since the second ERCP was basically problem free & he was back to a regular diet after being NPO for quite some time, with only a few hours on clear liquids post-procedure.
Josiah is Exceedingly Complex, “the most complex patient I’ve ever had” has been said by more than one specialist. He is fearfully AND wonderfully AND Extremely Atypically made…so, per always, we have to trust God & heavily engage any process connected to him.
On his final day in the ICU I woke up intending to hit the bathroom & discovered that the “rounding” doctors were gathered just outside his door, so they let me participate in rounds again. The training doc tasked with giving a brief relevant history mentioned that Josiah has TWO Aneurisms…which I’d never heard before even though they’d been known since 2012–I was absolutely floored! No one is monitoring these aneurisms that I am aware of & they are in smaller vessels, splenic artery & hepatic artery, I believe, so Maybe if either of them bursts there is time to intervene??? I’ll be discussing this with the transplant doctor, at a minimum, next time we see him &/or his PA…sigh…

WHOA — IMO, the aneurysms to be monitored for sure. The endoscopic physician either needs to monitor this situation, or to refer your son to the best specialist that can be found to start the monitoring.
I still can’t get over that they’ve been known for 13 years but never discussed with us–that I can recall AND I’m pretty sure that is something I wouldn’t forget no matter my stress level!
That answers a whole bunch of questions I was concerned might not have been asked. I needn’t have fretted.

Many a coin has been ruined because someone would call a coin dealer, describe a coin they found in Grandpa’s stuff, and the dealer would say “bring it in. Oh by the way do not clean it. The person cleans it anyway because (maybe) it’s black with tarnish and they can’t believe that’s good. They probably figure the dealer will use the blackness as an excuse to lowball them when he makes an offer on the coin. Severe, super-dark toning isn’t good, but it’s better than stripping the coin. (And some toning is very attractive, actually.)
Ancient and medieval coins often do get cleaned up some because they truly do get encrusted, not just tarnished, but that’s a job best left for someone who knows what they’re doing. If you’re reading thinking “I’ve never heard of this before” then you don’t know what you’re doing.

“Prayer to be made for all persons, since the grace of the gospel makes no difference of ranks or stations. (1-7) How men and women ought to behave, both in their religious and common life. Using open-source tools like Binary Edge, they traced PollChief to Chinese IP addresses—where they found unsecured databases containing names, Social Security numbers, addresses, bank information, voter roll data, polling location schematics, provisional ballot serial numbers, and even passwords for voting machines.
They alerted FBI field offices in Detroit and San Antonio, where agents took the threat seriously and launched a 15-month counterintelligence investigation. But in April 2022—just before the release of Dinesh D’Souza’s 2000 Mules, a film on 2020 election fraud featuring True the Vote—FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C. intervened and flipped the investigation on its head

As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.

Yes! Very similar to my own point of view. I would only add that I have more interest in details, both at the “finite level” (science) he refers to, and at the “understandably super-finite” (cosmological, deep physical, metaphysical) levels.
The RCC has learned to avoid getting too deep into these levels in terms of opinions or pronouncements, but to study them for relevance to internal theological problems and response to social problems.
