Partial transcript from the Mike Steeger (Promethean) video I thought was posted here yesterday, but I just checked for it and didn’t see it.

I just finished watching it. If what he’s saying is correct — and the background of these people should be verifiable — then it changes the whole narrative.

I knew the heads of Anthropic (Dario Amodei) and OpenAi (Sam Altman) were lunatic Leftists, but this definitely kicks it up a notch. Boldface mine:

(8:18) “…this week, the Democrat agenda of doom and gloom has been exposed as nothing less than an AI communist cult agenda. It’s not about protecting us from data center noise. It’s about controlling the American people and shutting down Trump’s economic revolution. On Tuesday night, a 27-year-old researcher named Jacob Coxin resigned from the AI company Anthropic. He’d spent three years working for the two big companies as part of a group of AI insiders.

And on his way out the door, Coxin posted a tweet from an account with no followers, mind you, that hit 165 million views in under two days. So, a little suspicious. His words, “The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us by the end of the decade.” And this is not a marketing stunt. Oh, but it is a marketing stunt, just not how you or they might think.

And it’s tied directly to the midterms and Trump’s economic revolution. Anthropic’s own people, get this, actually step forward to back Coxin up. Evan Hubinger, the man who leads the company’s alignment science, said this: “We really do earnestly believe it could kill all humans.” This is his own estimate. More than 10% likely, he says, within the next 10 years.

And then there’s the CEO of Anthropic, Dario Amodei. He responded to Coxin’s resignation with a essay just Saturday entitled “We Must Pace the Frontier.” And this is what he says: “In 6 to 12 months, such a swarm of bots could be capable of taking over the entire internet with a persistent botnet, potentially causing hundreds of billions of dollars in damage.”

Amodei, and mind you, he didn’t address the fact that he and the people running AI, want to control and destroy the world, but he’s just simply calling for more regulation and government control. But let’s go back because this story starts earlier, back in 2022 when Coxin received a $22,000 scholarship from a man named Dustin Muskovitz.

Muskovitz, along with his wife, are the biggest funders for an AI cult called Effective Altruism.

Moskovitz is also a major investor into Anthropic.

Effective Altruism didn’t start as a political movement. It actually started as an Oxford philosophy club and then spread throughout liberal American campuses.

Today it dominates both major AI companies, Anthropic and Open AI. And both today are clearly seeking more government regulation. Remember that.

But what is Effective Altruism? For Effective Altruists, what matters isn’t the person suffering in front of you. That’s not that effective. What really matters is all the people in the future, including the trillions of hypothetical future AI bots that will far outnumber actual human beings.

Helping anyone alive today only counts if it serves this calculation, because in the long run, it will be the bots who run the world. The people who have spent years inside this AI world know what this is. It’s a cult.

William McCascal, the Oxford philosopher who coined this term “Effective Altruism”, gets called a prophet by his own followers. A guy named Yukowsky has spent a decade as the movement’s original doom prophet.

He’s been predicting AI apocalypse long before it was cool. Sam Bankman-Fried, that’s a name you’ll recognize. He wasn’t some outsider who just liked this kind of movement. He was one of their own, funded, defended, and protected by movement leadership right up until his fraud conviction. And before prison, he helped bankroll Anthropic’s very first round.

These are the people who are sounding the alarm on AI. It’s not about the water, land use, or noise.

These are not neutral scientists. This is a movement with a decade of focus on deciding which humans should count and which ones are just merely rounding errors in an AI simulation. This is a kind of fixation on efficiency and control just like globalization, but on a social and broader domestic control policy. Keep in mind policies like Obamacare’s death panels or the so-called experts pushing the COVID lockdowns.

Just now they’re trying to seek total government control with a guaranteed AI duopoly.

David Sacks, Trump’s own former AI Czar (edit: and All-In Podcast member), calls this the Doomer Industrial Complex.

But this cult isn’t fringe. It’s threatening to dominate Silicon Valley as a whole if they’re handed complete control. And how might they get that control? By working with the fastest growing wing of the Democrat party, the DSA.

A wing that doesn’t just want AI labs regulated, it wants them owned by the state under a communist system. Based on Coxin’s letter, consider this. Bernie Sanders just introduced a bill entitled Ban Artificial Super Intelligence Act. It would include a permanent ban in some areas, an immediate pause on others, and a brand new federal agency to control it all. And standing next to him is AOC, co-sponsoring his AI data center moratorum.

No wonder China and communist billionaires are fueling the data center scare.

It’s not to stop AI because you can’t stop AI. AI has already proven itself too useful for human industry and production. This is like nuclear energy in the 1970s all over again.

Imagine if we could go back and unleash nuclear power throughout the entire US economy 50 years ago. So today, by spreading this kind of AI doom, this new eco doom cult intends to one, kill Trump’s economic revolution, and at the same time hand the state the most powerful system of control.

While Trump offers to make AI a major part of America’s re-industrialization, the Altruists want to control it — for our own good, of course. And so, as they scare everyone and try to coerce the midterms, what happens to our economy? It increasingly becomes devoured by globalization’s black hole of debt. This is the same bargain that built the surveillance architecture we’ve been living in since 9/11.

Remember what raising rates did to an economy? Trying to escape the black hole. Well, doom does the same thing. It cuts the engines. Civilizations have died from this kind of doomer cult. It was FDR who responded with the American reflex, the true American reflex in 1933, when he said this famous quote, “The only thing to fear is fear itself.”

So, let’s be precise about what’s actually happening. You might have thought the danger was building AI, but it’s not.

The danger is giving the Democrats the power to make sure no one else can build AI but their communist cult supporters. They want to control the buildout. They want to limit the energy expansion and they want to undermine and destroy the real economic growth. Under Effective Altruism’s AI communism, there will be no open platforms that can be used by small businesses and manufacturing plants to increase their production or improve their staff or create new products.

It will just be one or two firms controlling all the data with total surveillance, and all so the AI bots can thrive. So now you see why Federman really walked onto that stage. Steel was only half the story. He’s watching his own party trade FDR and John Kennedy for a communist cult run by frauds like Sam Bankman Freed.

This story is much bigger than the 2026 election. As JD Vance said at the end of his convention speech, let’s never forget that America belongs to those who love it, not those who hate it. Because the cult in Washington has already told you what it believes. That your life, your work, your family, none of this counts. Because in their math, what’s important is the system. Whether that’s measured as profits on a spreadsheet or trillions of bots that will never actually exist.

America was the first nation in human history that didn’t need a cast of foolish kings or an Ivy League priesthood deciding whose life matters. America depends on a free people. So every reactor going critical, every ton of steel poured in the Man Valley, every machine tool order, and even every data center, means real growth that threatens their control because it builds a future for human beings independent of their ideologies and government control.

The cult is betting the future belongs to the simulation. Their doom says we should just succumb, go into the black hole, and be happy. Trump’s entire revolution is a bet on us, the American people, not on the bots and government control. And that’s exactly why we can win.”
