2024·09·21 Joe Biden Didn’t Win Daily Thread

What is it that feeds our battle, yet starves our victory?

Speaker Johnson
Pinging you on January 6 Tapes

Just a friendly reminder Speaker Johnson. You’re doing some good things–or at least trying in the case of the budget–but this is the most important thing out there still hanging. One initial block released with the promise of more…and?

We have American patriots being held without bail and without trial, and the tapes almost certainly contain exculpatory evidence. (And if they don’t, and we’re all just yelling in an echo chamber over here, we need to know that too. And there’s only one way to know.)

Either we have a weaponized, corrupt government or we have a lot of internet charlatans. Let’s expose whatever it is. (I’m betting it’s the corrupt weaponized government, but if I am wrong, I’d like to see proof.)

Justice Must Be Done.

The prior election must be acknowledged as fraudulent, and steps must be taken to prosecute the fraudsters and restore integrity to the system.

Nothing else matters at this point. Talking about trying again in 2022 or 2024 is hopeless otherwise. Which is not to say one must never talk about this, but rather that one must account for this in ones planning; if fixing the fraud is not part of the plan, you have no plan.

Small Government?

Many times conservatives (real and fake) speak of “small government” being the goal.

This sounds good, and mostly is good, but it misses the essential point. The important thing here isn’t the size, but rather the purpose, of government. We could have a cheap, small tyranny. After all our government spends most of its revenue on payments to individuals and foreign aid, neither of which is part of the tyrannical apparatus trying to keep us locked down and censored. What parts of the government would be necessary for a tyranny? It’d be a lot smaller than what we have now. We could shrink the government and nevertheless find it more tyrannical than it is today.

No, what we want is a limited government, limited not in size, but rather in scope. Limited, that is, in what it’s allowed to do. Under current circumstances, such a government would also be much smaller, but that’s a side effect. If we were in a World War II sort of war, an existential fight against nasty dictatorships on the brink of world conquest, that would be very expensive and would require a gargantuan government, but that would be what the government should be doing. That would be a large, but still limited government, since it’d be working to protect our rights.

World War II would have been the wrong time to squawk about “small government,” but it wasn’t (and never is) a bad time to demand limited government. Today would be a better time to ask for a small government–at least the job it should be doing is small today–but it misses the essential point; we want government to not do certain things. Many of those things we don’t want it doing are expensive but many of them are quite eminently doable by a smaller government than the one we have today. Small, but still exceeding proper limits.

So be careful what you ask for. You might get it and find you asked for the wrong thing.

Political Science In Summation

It’s really just a matter of people who can’t be happy unless they control others…versus those who want to be left alone. The oldest conflict within mankind. Government is necessary, but government attracts the assholes (a highly technical term for the control freaks).

His Truth?

Again we saw an instance of “It might be true for Billy, but it’s not true for Bob” logic this week.

I hear this often, and it’s usually harmless. As when it’s describing differing circumstances, not different facts. “Housing is unaffordable” can be true for one person, but not for another who makes ten times as much.

But sometimes the speaker means it literally. Something like 2+2=4 is asserted to be true for Billy but not for Bob. (And when it’s literal, it’s usually Bob saying it.) And in that sense, it’s nonsense, dangerous nonsense. There is ONE reality, and it exists independent of our desires and our perceptions. It would go on existing if we weren’t here. We exist in it. It does not exist in our heads. It’s not a personal construct, and it isn’t a social construct. If there were no society, reality would continue to be what it is, it wouldn’t vanish…which it would have to do, if it were a social construct.

Now what can change from person to person is the perception of reality. We see that all the time. And people will, of course, act on those perceptions. They will vote for Trump (or try to) if their perception is close to mine, and vote against Trump (and certainly succeed at doing so) if their perception is distant from mine (and therefore, if I do say so, wrong). I have heard people say “perception is reality” and usually, that’s what they’re trying to say–your perception of reality is, as far as you know, an accurate representation of reality, or you’d change it.

But I really wish they’d say it differently. And sometimes, to get back to Billy and Bob, the person who says they have different truths is really saying they have different perceptions of reality–different worldviews. I can’t argue with the latter. But I sure wish they’d say it better. That way I’d know that someone who blabbers about two different truths is delusional and not worth my time, at least not until he passes kindergarten-level metaphysics on his umpteenth attempt.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Poltical correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. Zeroth rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government get your guns.
5. Rule one of gun safety: The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Rule two of gun safety: Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Rule three: Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Rule the fourth: Be sure of your target and what is behind it.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

(Paper) Spot Prices

Kitco “Ask” prices. Last week:

Gold $2,578.70
Silver $30.80
Platinum $1,004.00
Palladium $1,092.00
Rhodium $5,100.00
FRNSI* 123.745-
Gold:Silver 83.724+

This week, 3PM Mountain Time, markets have closed for the weekend.

Gold $2,622.40
Silver $31.24
Platinum $986.00
Palladium $1090.00
Rhodium $5,075.00
FRNSI* 125.859-
Gold:Silver 83.944-

Gold has now busted $2600. Silver is going up but not quite enough to keep up with gold (it’s worth slightly less in terms of gold than it was last week). Palladium jumped up then back down this last week, ending virtually unchanged. But platinum is sliding. Rhodium is essentially stable.

*The SteveInCO Federal Reserve Note Suckage Index (FRNSI) is a measure of how much the dollar has inflated. It’s the ratio of the current price of gold, to the number of dollars an ounce of fine gold made up when the dollar was defined as 25.8 grains of 0.900 gold. That worked out to an ounce being $20.67+71/387 of a cent. (Note gold wasn’t worth this much back then, thus much gold was $20.67 71/387ths. It’s a subtle distinction. One ounce of gold wasn’t worth $20.67 back then, it was $20.67.) Once this ratio is computed, 1 is subtracted from it so that the number is zero when the dollar is at its proper value, indicating zero suckage.

Just an Observation

The latest flerfer complaint is that the Final Experiment (the trip to Antarctica to observe the 24 hour sun) won’t count because it’s not an experiment but rather an observation. WTF? Anyhow, in this video, among many things of interest such as the fact that other people will be taking sun pictures that day in order to test the effect of variables (which would make it an experiment!), it’s shown what a bunch of lying hypocrite charlatans they are for trying to make this argument:

And this one from a year ago where Dave McKeegan tells of plotting the positions of celestial bodies over the Earth’s surface…then translating that to the pizzaworld model.

Antarctica

Oh, and spring (for Antarctica; it will be fall for Northern Hemisphere folks) starts at 06:43 Mountain Time on the 22nd (Sunday). This is the moment when the sun, which appears to travel along the zodiac line (even though we are orbiting it), appears to cross the celestial equator, northbound. [The celestial equator is just our own equatorial plane, projected out to infinity in the sky. The zodiac is the plane of the Earth’s orbit about the sun, projected out to infinity in the sky.] That should be the nominal instant when more than half of the sun becomes visible at Amundsen-Scott station at the south pole. (However, refraction makes the sun appear higher in the sky than it otherwise would, when it’s near the horizon, so sunrise will be somewhat earlier than this for them–and has probably already happened.)

So wish the 40 or so people who have spent the last six months wintering over there in either twilight or complete darkness a good “morning”!

Oh, wait…this doesn’t exist, does it? It’s all CGI!

In which case let’s get our money’s worth out of all that CGI, since we paid for it with our tax money. Here are a couple of videos which are tours of the station. First, upstairs.

Downstairs:

And there’s a part three (out of 2?) for the bits buried under the ice (such as vehicle maintenance, the generators, the logistics area, and so on); largely stuff that can get cold.

Incidentally there are three generators, that rotate, one is generally undergoing maintenance, one is a backup, the other is the active one. If all three crap out, there’s another generator that might manage to keep one part of the the station above freezing, but were this sort of failure to happen during winter over, they’re basically dead. It’d be easier to get people off the ISS then out of Amundsen Scott during winter.

And here’s one for the Ice Cube neutrino observatory (you’ll recall discussions of the neutrino in my Sun article a couple of weeks ago as well as during the physics series, part 20):

Anyhow, I hope you all enjoyed all that expensive taxpayer-funded CGI.

The 800 lb Gorilla

Jupiter, as photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope in 2017. A true-color image.

The single most important fact about Jupiter is that it is BIG. How big? Well let’s compare it to Earth and the Moon:

By size it’s 11 times the width of Earth; by mass it’s 318 Earths. That’s over 2 1/2 times the mass of all other planets, asteroids, comets, etc., put together. Or to think of it another way, you can characterize the solar system as consisting of the Sun, Jupiter, and miscellaneous debris. (And even with that Jupiter is barely 1/1000 the mass of the Sun.) To put it in absolute terms, Jupiter is roughly 88,000 miles across; and even the Great Red Spot–which is storm in the atmosphere–would swallow the Earth.

Ironically, if Jupiter were somehow even more massive, it probably wouldn’t be much larger. The gas would simply compress more to make up for it. The maximum diameter might be a bit more than what we see, but not much. If it were 75 times more massive, it would actually be compressed enough to start fusing hydrogen…and it might actually be the size of Saturn; considerably smaller than its actual diameter.

Jupiter has four major moons, three of them larger than our Moon, plus another 91 smaller moons, generally too small to be forced into a spherical shape. Those four big moons are at least as interesting as Jupiter itself and will be covered in a different article.

Jupiter orbits at about 5.2 AU from the Sun (and I’m not going to explain AUs yet again). That makes its “year”–the time to make one orbit about the Sun–11.86 Earth years. It has almost no axial tilt, so it doesn’t have seasons to speak of.

This is significant: It’s beyond the “snow line.” This means that a lot of things that would normally be vapor inside the line–like water–are solid outside. Hydrogen and helium, the major constituents of the matter that formed the solar system, are considerably cooler and easier for planets to hang on to; and Jupiter did just that; that’s fundamentally why it is so big.

Jupiter rotates on its axis in 9 hours, 55 minutes, and 30 seconds. That’s considerably less time than it takes Earth to do so (23 hours, 56 minutes, 4 seconds…with respect to the stars). Combine that with the fact that it is 11 times wider, and it turns out that an object on the Jovian equator experiences 65 times the centrifugal (well…it’s actually centripetal) force as an object on Earth’s equator. Why does that matter? It makes Jupiter look distinctly oblate (squashed); the difference between the diameter through the poles and between the equator is actually noticeable.

Jupiter is made almost entirely of gas and (deep down, under insane amounts of pressure somewhere between 500 and 4,000 atmospheres) liquid metallic hydrogen. Yes, under extreme pressure hydrogen behaves like a metal, complete with metallic bonds. And deep inside is a rock and ice core, that all by itself is larger than Earth. The following diagram is a cutaway of Jupiter. The pressures down there could be as high as 40,000 atmospheres, and the temperature is likely around 20,000K (versus 165K (-163 F) near the visible “surface.”

Unsurprisingly the atmosphere is mostly hydrogen (roughly 3/4), helium (a bit less than 1/4), plus a bunch of simple molecules like water (H2O), methane (CH4), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and even phosphine (PH3)…basically simple molecules made up of very common elements.

What we see is an “upper” cloud deck, but as it happens the light bands (called “zones”) are at a considerably higher altitude than the dark bands (called “belts”). The upper clouds made largely of ammonia ice are at a pressure of 0.6 – 0.9 Earth atmospheres, the lower visible clouds contain sulfur compounds as well as water ice and can be anywhere from 1-7 Earth atmospheres.

All of this implies that the atmosphere just above these clouds is already fairly thick, while being clear enough for us to see through.

That liquid metallic hydrogen has a significant consequence–Jupiter has a ridiculously huge magnetosphere. Since it captures charged particles, just like our Van Allen belts do here on Earth, that makes the entire Jovian system, including the Moons, very hazardous from a radiation standpoint. We can’t realistically send manned missions to Jupiter’s moons because of this, with the possible exception of the outermost of the large moons. It’s shaped something like a tadpole, with the head facing the Sun and the tail pointing away from the Sun. I haven’t been able to nail down the diameter of the magnetosphere, but it extends some 7 million kilometers towards the Sun, and the tail nearly reaches Saturn’s orbit. More info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetosphere_of_Jupiter

Like the Sun, Jupiter exhibits differential rotation, with belts and zones rotating at different speeds and vortices (including spots) showing up a lot on the boundaries. Here is a GIF made from a timelapse of Jupiter rotating as seen from Voyager I in the 1980s. The pictures are all taken at times when the Great Red Spot in the same orientation with respect to to the spacecraft, so you can see other features, which rotate at different speeds, change position with respect to the Great Red Spot.

Herding Cats

Jupiter’s great mass means that it often deflects smaller bodies in the solar system like comets and asteroids. Many comets have an orbital period that suggests that an encounter with Jupiter put the comet into that orbit in the first place. And Jupiter has even taken a bullet or two, most recently in 1995. The comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 was discovered having already broken into pieces thanks to tidal forces (yes, tidal forces show up again!) from Jupiter; it then was realized that Shoemaker Levy was going to impact Jupiter! What a spectacle! (And how good it was for us that it was Jupiter taking the brunt of that, not Earth!)

It wasn’t just a spectacle; the comet left “holes” in Jupiter’s atmosphere that allowed deeper material to come up to the surface where we could analyze the light with spectroscopes and learn more about Jupiter’s interior.

Jupiter is generally credited with reducing the amount of stuff that rains down on Earth from elsewhere in the Solar System.

History

Jupiter has been known since ancient times; it is generally the third brightest object in the night sky after the Moon and Venus. Since it is so bright and moves through the sky at a fairly stately pace, it got associated with the king of the gods, Zeus or in Latin, Jupiter.

It’s one of the ancient seven planets, each of which was associated with a metal, and each of which ended up associated with a day of the week. These are: Sun, gold, Sunday; Moon, silver, Monday; Mercury, mercury, Wednesday; Venus, copper, Friday; Mars, iron, Tuesday; Jupiter, tin, Thursday; and Saturn, lead, Saturday. And yes, the Sun and Moon were considered planets back then because they moved against the celestial sphere; the recent kerfuffle with Pluto is not the first time we’ve reclassified things. Many of our days of the week are named after Norse gods, but if you go to languages like Spanish, French or Italian, you’ll see the connections between days of the week and our planetary names (which, like those languages, are legacies of the Romans) more readily.

It’s a lucky coincidence that Jupiter turned out to be the king, not of the gods, but rather of the planets once we learned a lot more about it. This began mere months after we first turned telescopes to the sky; In 1610 Galileo noted four tiny “stars” near Jupiter, and could see the pattern change nightly, even over just a few hours. These turned out to be the four big moons of Jupiter (larger or comparable to our own moon).

The four big moons are to this day known as the Galilean moons, and you can spot them with binoculars. I said I’d cover them another time but there are a couple of points I want to make. First, when Galileo discovered them and realized they were orbiting Jupiter, that killed the centuries-old presumption that everything in the universe revolved around the Earth. (And if that wasn’t enough the phases of Venus put the final nail in the coffin, as they showed Venus revolved around the Sun.)

And our view of the universe was never the same again. That dinky telescope of Galileo’s (which is on display at a museum in Florence) is arguably one of the two most important telescopes in history for this reason. (The other being the 100 inch Hooker telescope that Hubble used.)

Second was their use in navigation. Galileo realized almost immediately that the moons’ motions were very regular; such that one could work up a time table and be able to tell absolute time with some accuracy here on Earth, provided you could see Jupiter and point a small telescope at it. Why was that a big deal? Because if you’re sailing a ship, the only way you can determine your longitude is by knowing what time it is in an absolute sense, or at least compared to some other location. For instance, if it’s noon in Greenwich, it’s about 7 AM in Washington DC….or perhaps some other spot in the middle of the ocean directly south of Washington DC. If you know both items of information; that the sun says it’s 7AM but it’s noon in Greenwich, England right now, you can figure out you are at 75 degrees west longitude. The problem was, they had no way of knowing what time it was in London at that same instant. We didn’t have anything like an accurate clock we could just set to London time (and never adjust it) to compare the local time to. But, we could look at Jupiter; if the moons were in the position for 3AM, you knew, regardless what time it was where you were at, that it was 3AM where the time tables were made. So you have a means of determining longitude.

But there was a fly in the ointment; it turns out that after painstakingly computing the table, it wouldn’t work well after a few months; the moons might get to their predicted position a bit early or a bit late. It turns out that the problem wasn’t with the computations, it was with the fact that sometimes Earth is a bit further from Jupiter, sometimes a bit closer, and so we were being thrown off by the light speed delay changing from one position to the other (light can take about 17 minutes to cross Earth’s orbit from one end to the other, and that’s about how much our distance to Jupiter varies). 17 minutes corresponds to about four degrees of longitude which in turn is 240 nautical miles if you’re near the equator. That’s a significant error!

We’ve also discovered that Jupiter has a very tenuous ring, a far cry from Saturn’s ring system, but there nonetheless.

Spacecraft

Jupiter is visited often by our spacecraft, not only for its own sake but because it’s a good waypoint for other missions; it’s often used for a gravity assist. The New Horizons probe to Pluto used a gravity assist from Jupiter to shorten its flight time by about five years (it could have got there without the assist, which in itself is remarkable).

The first probes were Pioneer 10 and 11 in 1973 and 1974. It was the Pioneer spacecraft that discovered Jupiter’s magnetosphere. (Pioneer 11 went on to Saturn). In 1979 Voyager 1 and 2 paid a visit, these spacecraft both went on to Saturn and one of them went on to Hugh Janus and Neptune.

Ulysses, which was a mission to study the sun, flew by Jupiter in 1992 and again in 2004. Why send a solar probe away from the sun to Jupiter? Because we wanted to put the probe in a highly inclined orbit so we could see the Sun’s north and south poles for the first time. The easiest way to do that was to send Ulysses past Jupiter’s north pole and let Jupiter bend the orbit into the new plane, some 80 degrees off from the main plane of the solar system. (Jupiter will bend your trajectory no matter what, but if we approach Jupiter so as to pass the pole, the trajectory will be bent outside of the plane of the planets’ orbits.) If we hadn’t done that we’d have needed a gigantic delta-V to cancel out Earth’s motion around the sun (which the spacecraft would “inherit”), then more to put the spacecraft into its new orbit around the sun. Ulysses took these opportunities to study Jupiter’s magnetosphere.

Cassini flew by in 2000, on its way to Saturn.

Flybys are great, but an orbiter is better. We sent the Galileo orbiter to Jupiter, with it arriving in 1995 and sending back data, including from close encounters with the four Galilean moons, until 2003. Galileo was well timed–when comet Shoemaker-Levy impacted Jupiter Galileo was approaching the system and took some amazing pictures of the aftermath of the event (the impacts were unfortunately on the far side). Galileo came with an atmospheric probe, too, that was dropped into Jupiter’s atmosphere on a suicide mission to return data for as long as it could withstand the rapidly-increasing pressure. In 2016, Juno, a European spacecraft, arrived at Jupiter, establishing itself in a highly elliptical and inclined orbit which means that once every orbit it gets very close to the clouds, and it passes over the poles, which otherwise we’d never see. Juno is still active.

Life?

Jupiter is sometimes cited as a possible location for life. In this case, since it’s essentially atmosphere down to depths where the pressure is crushing, the life forms are generally imagined as creatures with huge bladders filled with atmospheric gas…basically living hot air balloons. This idea got kicked around a lot, including by science fiction writers (like Arthur C. Clarke; a much more recent story told of Jovians’ reactions to Shoemaker-Levy 9).

All of this is complete speculation, of course, and I think as we’ve learned more about the rest of the solar system, we’ve come up with better candidates. But in the end we probably don’t know enough to even intelligently decide which scenario is most likely.

DEAR KMAG 20240911 SAUDI ARABIA & DAILY THREAD

💥HUMP DAY!💥

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

In this article I am going to take a closer look at Saudi Arabia. It is long because there has been an effort to paint ALL of those of the Muslim faith as EVIL. I hope to add shades of grey and even white to this completely black image.

Dr. John Coleman, a former British Intelligence agent… states in his report on Iran’s Islamic Revolution (11) that the Muslim Brotherhood was created by “the great names of British Middle East intelligence” …and that their mission was to “keep the Middle East backward so that its natural resource, oil, could continue to be looted…”

As Historical Background: Who Really Created the Middle East Terror Apparatus?

…The Arab Revolt of 1916-1918, had been, to the detriment of the Arab people, a British led rebellion. The British claimed that their sole interest in the affair was the dismantling of the Ottoman Empire and 👉had given their word that these Arab territories would be freed and allowed independence if they agreed to rebel…

👉It is a rather predictable feature of the British to lie and double cross and thus should be of no surprise to anyone that 👉their intentions were quite the opposite of what they had promised and thanks to the Skyes-Picot Russian leak [655] were revealed in their entire shameful glory….

Footnote: #655: Skyes-Picot (December 5, 1917) The Ambassador in Russia (Francis) to the Secretary of State. Office of the Historian, https://history.state.gov/historicaldocuments/fus1917Supp)2v)1/d416

One of the consequences of the Bolshevik Revolution which started in March 1917, was their acquiring of the Skyes-Picot papers which the Russian government under Tsar Nicholas II had copies of, and which the Bolsheviks promptly leaked such that the secretive imperialist plan for the Middle East was revealed to the entire world.

Next I want to start with the beginning of President Trump’s administration. However first I want to point to the fact that Saudi Arabia CHANGED LEADERSHIP in 2015 and thus changed direction. This is a critical point. Prior to that the Arab king was under the British thumb and was kept from developing manufacturing just as Africa was, but I can not find the specific article. So it was probably one of several videos I watched. I did find this:

Britain’s Enduring Relationship with Saudi Arabia

and

Manufacturing in Saudi Arabia is 👉now central to the Kingdom’s ambitious economic development strategy.

On to 2017, POTUS Trump and Saudi Arabia.

The Guardian: Saudi leaders hail Trump visit as 👉‘reset of regional order

In addition to proposing a series of deals, 👉Saudi officials have also accepted a central theme of Trump’s visit of tackling radicalism. Saudi Arabia had been accused by the Obama administration of proselytising an extreme Wahhabi view of Islam…

One particular moment from that event, however, stands out. It’s a moment when ?Mr?🤔 Trump, along with Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, have their hands placed on a glowing orb while standing in a vast, dark hall. According to local media, the leaders placed their hands on the illuminated globe and “officially activated the centre and launched a splashy welcome video.”

I want to add to this a key item.

Saudi Prince  Alwaleed bin Talal Pledges $32 Billion to Promote Islam/Sharia in America

By Pamela Geller – on July 9, 2015 [USA under Obama]

…The Saudis have spent billions already. 80% of the mosques  build in America are Saudi funded… And it’s not just the media that is on the receiving end of this blood money, but also Muslim Brotherhood fronts like CAIR, which spend millions whining about how lucrative the “islamophobia” business is….

It is important to remember Alwaleed no longer holds power here or in Saudi Arabia, except thru Obama.

A few months later, in the fall, Q appeared on the Chans and makes several drops about the ‘Bloody Wonderland’ aka Saudi Arabia. Q used the Socratic Method by asking a series of questions. The Anons respond by using open source information. I am going to use Q drops/questions and Anon answers since it is readily available information.

Here is a link to Q drops on Las Vegas, Obama, Alwaleed, Clinton, Huma & HUMA, MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD [MB] and the Saudi Purge. You can look at them or not as you will.

What unmarked tail numbers flew into McCarren that night?

Trace AF1 that entire day.

What do you notice?

Classified.

Q

With these questions, Q implies POTUS Trump and the Saudi Crown Prince were in Las Vegas for a classified meeting. Information was leaked and an assassination plotted. The Saudi Crown Prince was the target and Americans would be left with the stigma and MORE hatred by Muslims. The FBI helped cover-up the plot.

Pepe Lives Matter does a more in-depth look at these Q drops —

Saudi Arabia, Trump, The Vegas shooting, and the Fall of the Old Guard

In 2019 I wrote an Article on Las Vegas but I missed the Saudi Arabian connection.

AND Logic: The Conspiracy to Ban Guns

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Then there is the more mainstream view:

Las Vegas mass shooting | AP News

It now goes to a page of stories they WANT you to read. 🙄

On October 1, 2017, a mass shooting occurred in Las Vegas. 58 people were killed, and almost 500 others were injured. A month later, on the Night of November 4, 2017 there was The Purge of the Royal House of Saud. 👈This article seems to be a good explanation of what happened.

And then there is this bafflegab by the bought and paid for BRITISH Urinalist, James Corbett.

5 Things You Need to Know About the Saudi Purge

About the Author of the above piece of DRECK…

James Corbett was brought up in Liverpool and educated at the London School of Economics. As a journalist Corbett has reported from all over the world for the BBC, The Guardian, The Observer, The Independent, The Blizzard and numerous other publications. — WIKI

The following makes this an interesting article because:

A. The guy is Englishman (Think UK cooperation in Russia Hoax & the Guardian insulting MR Trump.)

B. He is a graduate of the FABIAN’S London School of Economics.

C. The UK’s continued involvement meddling in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

Corbett starts off with gossip:

from @mujtahidd, an anonymous Twitter user who has two million followers

The gist is an anonymous yacht, at the Jeddah port picks up several boxes containing $1 billion cash. “…and the whole incident took place while Trump was busy bowing to MBS’ father, King Salman…”

Corbett then says:

An incredible story, to be sure. Phenomenal, even. Trump bribed by the Saudi Crown Prince to the tune of $1 billion? The beloved POTUS [He forgot the sarc tag.] selling out his country in return for some cold hard cash? It could be the scandal of the century, 👉and it seems to explain so much. [PLANTS IDEA]

After all, Trump’s genuflections toward the Saudi royals (literal as well as figurative) and his profusions of great confidence” in those same royals even as they commit a chaotic and bloody purge stand in stark contrast to the rhetoric of candidate Trump. Lest we forget, it was just over one year ago that Trump was railing against Clinton for accepting money from those gay-killing, women-enslaving Saudi fiends and openly ruminating about Saudi connections to 9/11. [Alwaleed to be exact.]

But is it true? Was there really a private yacht in Jeddah Port? A team of shadowy men from MBS’ inner circle? The billion dollars in cash? Who knows!

….And, true or not, 👉it’s being reported on by “reputable” outlets. [Here he DRIVES HOME THE IDEA] And why not? It’s salacious. It’s tantalizing. 👉And it makes just enough sense to be not entirely implausible. [And re-emphasizes the idea.]

…In a sense, the yacht story is a good window into the chaotic “anti-corruption” purge taking place in Saudi Arabia right now, which has so far netted 201 people (and, not incidentally, 1,700 bank accounts and other assets totaling a cool $800 billion)…

There are some things that we do know about what’s going on, and as it turns out, these things are pretty important. So let’s examine five things we know (or need to know) about the Saudi purge. [Rest of article for paid members only]

Notice how he has subtlety planted the ‘Trump Was Bribed’ idea and then reinforces that this could actually be a TRUE story all the while maintaining plausible deniability. This is ESPECIALLY TRUE for anyone not a paid subscriber.

BRITAIN, ARABIA, EGYPT & THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD

So far I have IDed several players. They are the UK, including the Rothschilds, and PROGRESSIVE Fabians. Certain factions within Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Certain factions within the USA . In this article I am only going to look at the connections between the Middle East and Britain.

I am including this because WWI and WWII play a very big part in the story.

As promised at the begining, here is more from the chapter of Cynthia’s book. I get the feeling she has as much ‘love’ of the British Empire Commonwealth as I do.

Who Really Created the Middle East Terror Apparatus?

by Cynthia Chung (Matt Ehret’s wife)

The following is a chapter from my book The Empire on Which the Black Sun Never Set.

[Excerpt from the substack. It is worth reading the entire chapter esp the end where she discusses the Brits involvement in forming the Muslim Brotherhood — GC]

…In order for all Arab leaders to sign on to the idea of rebelling against the Ottoman Sultan, there needed to be a viable leader that was Arab, for they certainly would not agree to rebel at the behest of Britain. Lord Kitchener, the Butcher of Sudan, was to be at the helm of this operation as Britain’s Minister of War. Kitchener’s choice for Arab leadership was the scion of the Hashemite dynasty, Hussein ibn Ali, known as the Sherif of Mecca who ruled the region of Hejaz under the ottoman Sultan. Charles Hardinge of the British India Office disagreed with this choice and wanted Wahhabite Abdul-Aziz ibn Saud instead. However, Lord Kitchener over-ruled this stating that their intelligence revealed that more Arabs would follow Hussein. [Notice the Brits double-crossed Hussein and eventually gave Arabia to the Saud’s instead. — GC]

Since the Young Turk Revolution which seized the Ottoman government in 1908, Hussein was very aware that his dynasty was in no way guaranteed and thus was open to Britain’s invitation to Crown him King of the Arab kingdom. Kitchener wrote to one of Hussein’s sons, Abdallah, as reassurance of Britain’s support: “If the Arab nation assist England in this war that has been forced upon us by Turkey, England will guarantee that no internal intervention take place in Arabia, and will give Arabs every assistance against Foreign aggression.” [653]

Sir Henry McMahon who was the British High Commissioner to Egypt, would have several correspondences [654] with Sherif Hussein between July 1915 to March 1916 to convince Hussein to lead the rebellion for the ‘independence’ of the Arab states.

However, in a private letter to India’s Viceroy Charles Hardinge, sent December 4th, 1915, McMahon expressed a rather different view of what the future of Arabia would be, contrary to what he had led Sherif Hussien to believe: “I do not take the idea of a future strong united independent Arab State… too seriously… the conditions of Arabia do not and will not for a very long time to come, lend themselves to such a thing”

Such a view meant that Arabia would be subject to Britain’s heavy handed ‘advising’ in all its affairs, whether it sought it or not. [This is why I think it is true the Brits kept control and blocked Arab industrialization. GC]

In the meantime, Sherif Hussein was receiving dispatches issued by the British Cairo Office to the effect that the Arabs of Palestine, Syria, and Mesopotamia (Iraq) would be given independence guaranteed by Britain, if they rose up against the Ottoman Empire.

.

. [France puts in their 2 cents, also claiming territory based on the Crusades. ]

.

Once the Arab Revolt was ‘won’ against the Ottoman Empire, instead of the promised Arab independence, the Middle East was carved up into zones of influence under British and French colonial rule. Puppet monarchies were created in regions that were considered not under direct colonial subjugation in order to continue the illusion that Arabs remained in charge of sacred regions such as Mecca and Medina.

.

.[various British military actions in the Middle East]

.

While the British were promising Arab rule… the British were simultaneously promising a homeland in Palestine to the Jews…

#654 McMahon – Hussein Correspondence: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McMahon%E2%80%93Hussein_correspondence

These underhanded dealings by the Brits remind me of the Minsk agreements between Russia & Ukraine where they were signed only to buy time and with ZERO intention of actually honoring the agreement. Notice it is the BRITS who stepped in to prevent a peace deal in Ukraine.

Essentially the Brits FORMED the Muslim Brotherhood. On page 281 Cynthia Chung has a subchapter: THE RISE OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD (MIDDLE OF THE ARTICLE)

Cynthia’s substack has screenshots of her book so I am not going to hand type any more than the excerpt above. Please at least glance thru her substack. I found it fascinating.

Breaking History Ep. 41 With Cyhthia’s husband, Matt Ehret and Gordon McCormick (Ghost of Based Patrick Henry)

The part I am most interested in is this:

Roughly transcribed

1:38:50 Evelyn Baring. 1st earl of Cromer. The Baring bank was one of oldest merchant banks in UK. The bank collapsed in 1995 and was sold for 1 pound.

👉 Baring served as British Controller of Egypt starting 1879 as result of Egypt’s bankruptcy of 1876. Due to the US Civil War there was no US cotton, Egypt does well then after war the UK uses US cotton to UNDERCUT the market and drive Egypt into bankruptcy. As result Egypt loses control of their share of Suez canal to the UK…. 👉 OH and this guy is ALSO the founder of the schools that created the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

So is this correct?

Evelyn Baring, 1st Earl of Cromer, GCB, OM, GCMG, KCSI, CIE, PC, FRS (/ˈkroʊmər/; 26 February 1841 – 29 January 1917) was a British statesman, diplomat and colonial administrator. He served as the British controller-general in Egypt during 1879, part of the international control which oversaw Egyptian finances after the Egyptian bankruptcy of 1876. He later became the agent and consul-general in Egypt from 1883 to 1907 during the British occupation, prompted by the Urabi revolt. This position gave Baring de facto control over Egyptian finances and governance.

According to Sanderson Beck’s Egypt, Sudan, and Libya 1700-1950 Hasan al-Banna had founded the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928.

If you want to know WHO this Historian is read:

or

Then there is the other interpretation:

The Roots of Islamic Terrorism

As we related in Part One, the British used Islam to legitimize their puppet rulers in Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Palestine after taking over the Middle East in World War I. Because of this Islam was seen by much of the Arab populace as just another part of the corrupt colonial establishment. That is why 👉the legitimate anti-colonial movements, such as those of Nasser, Mossadegh and Bhutto, were primarily secular in nature. When these nationalist movements began to succeed outside of the British sphere of influence the British turned to their Islamic allies to subvert these independent regimes.

👉The Muslim Brotherhood stands out as the most important counter-revolutionary movement of this period in the Middle East, 👉and one of the British-based Globalists’ most important strategic assets today.

The Muslim Brotherhood emerged out of Egypt in 1928 to evolve into “the largest and most influential Sunni revivalist organization in the 20th century.” It was founded by Hasan al-Banna, the first son of a respected sheik who was also an author and the leader of a local mosque. Hasan was born in 1906 and was brought up immersed in Islam under his father’s tutelage. He memorized the Koran and at age twelve he founded an organization called the Society For Moral Behavior….

In Part One of this study 👉we related several allegations that the Muslim Brotherhood was created, infiltrated, or at least promoted by British Intelligence and/or British Freemasonry. Dr. John Coleman alleges that it was created by “the great names of British Middle East intelligence…”, Stephen Dorril writes that the Brotherhood was linked to British Intelligence through dame Freya Stark prior to World War II, and the Shah’s regime in Iran considered it to be a tool of British Freemasonry.

Some Muslims will find these claims hard to believe but they should not be rejected out of hand. Hasan al-Banna was a devout Muslim who put Islam first but it should not be considered inconceivable that he was influenced by Britain’s Masonic Brotherhood, or that he accepted British aid to advance his movement, at least in the early stages….

There was of course an ulterior motive for Cromer making Abduh the most powerful figure in all of Islam. You see, in 1898 the ruling council of Al-Azhar University had reaffirmed that usury, and thus banking according to the Western model, was harem (illegal) according to Islamic Law. This was unacceptable to Lord Cromer because his given name happened to be Evelyn Baring – he was an important member of England’s prestigious Baring banking family that had grown rich off of the opium trade in India and China….

👉Lord Cromer installed his friend Sheikh Abduh to change the law forbidding banking, and once he was made Grand Mufti he used a very liberal and creative interpretation of the Quran to fabricate a loophole that allowed the forbidden practice of usury. British banks then had free reign to dominate Egypt. In Lord Cromer’s writings he says, “I suspect my friend Abduh was in reality an agnostic,” and he commented on Abduh’s Salafiyya movement saying, “They are the natural allies of the European reformer.” Even Cromer saw that the Islamist movement could be used to Britain’s advantage…

February 17, 2006 Our Sordid Love Affair With London’s Muslim Brotherhood

by Jeffrey Steinberg

BOOK REVIEW

Devil’s Game: How the United States Helped Unleash Fundamentalist Islam
by Robert Dreyfuss

This reviewer recently attended a conference at the U.S. Senate, which was billed as a symposium of experts on al-Qaeda. I asked a panel of three of the leading “experts” about the links between al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, and I mentioned that the staff reports of the 9/11 Commission had noted that the purported mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, had been captured, and had boasted that he had been recruited to the Muslim Brotherhood at the age of 16. The question drew blank stares from the self-professed al-Qaeda experts, and none chose to answer. In fairness, one of the three approached me afterwards, to say that he did know something about the Brotherhood ties to al-Qaeda, but he felt that the audience, made up of senior Congressional staffers and think-tank policy wonks, was incapable of understanding the complicated answer he would have had to give.

The incident offers a telling snapshot of the state of affairs among so-called terrorism experts, many of whom boast of degrees in sociology, psychology, and computer science. Few have a grasp of history, and even fewer attempt to draw the lessons of history in peddling their dubious expertise. When I recounted the incident at the terrorism symposium to several retired military and intelligence officers who do have credentials as Middle East specialists, they shook their heads in pained acknowledgement of the problem.

Fortunately, author Robert Dreyfuss has provided a timely work that offers some relief to this major deficiency in our so-called Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) in particular, and American diplomacy and intelligence operations in general.

👉 Devil’s Game provides a vivid picture of how the United States has spent the last century being dragged into a Middle East quagmire by a British imperial apparatus that has sponsored and manipulated Islamic fundamentalism, since the first hours of the era of petroleum politics at the end of the 19th Century.👈

👉Dreyfuss’s work combines a careful and thoroughly readable survey of the major academic literature on the history of the Muslim Brotherhood and its various 20th-Century offshoots, with interviews with some of America’s senior Middle East diplomats and intelligence officers….

BRITAIN’S IMPERIAL SYNARCHY

Although the Muslim Brotherhood was formally launched in Egypt in 1928, the roots of the British-sponsored Freemasonic secret society date further back two generations, to the last quarter of the 19th Century. At that time, British intelligence sponsored the career of a Persian-born Shi’ite named Jamal Eddine, later known as Jamal Eddine al-Afghani (1838-97). A British (and French) Freemason and a professed atheist, al-Afghani spent his entire adult life as an agent of British intelligence, fomenting “Islamist” insurrections where they suited British imperial goals. At points in his fascinating career, he served as Minister of War and Prime Minister of Iran, before leading an insurrection against the Shah. He was a founder of the Young Egypt movement, which was part of a worldwide network of British Jacobin fronts that waged war against Britain’s imperial rivals during the second half of the 19th Century. In Sudan, following the Mahdi-led nationalist revolt and the murder of Britain’s Lord Gordon, al-Afghani organized an “Islamist” counterrevolution in support of a restoration of British colonial control.

In the finest “Venetian” tradition, al-Afghani promoted a doctrine of “economy of truth”—i.e., truth as an instrument of imperial intrigues. He adopted the name “al-Afghani” to conceal his Persian birth and his Shi’ite Muslim roots, to better serve his British handlers in the largely Sunni regions where he operated. He also spoke cynically of “the social utility of religion.”

Al-Afghani was backed by one of Britain’s leading Orientalists, Edward Granville Browne, and whenever he ran out of cash, he made a bee-line for London, where he was always provided with funding, a publishing house, and other amenities.

Al-Afghani’s leading disciple and fellow British agent was Mohammed Abduh (1849-1905). The Egyptian-born Abduh 👉founded the Salafiyya movement, under the patronage of the British proconsul of Egypt, Evelyn Baring (Lord Cromer).👈 In the 1870s, al-Afghani and Abduh founded the Young Egypt movement, which battled against secular Egyptian nationalists. In the mid-1880s, the two men moved to Paris, where they launched a magazine under British and French Freemasonic sponsorship, called Indissoluble Bond. There are some accounts of al-Afghani’s and Abduh’s three years in Paris that suggest that they were in direct contact with St. Yves d’Alveydre, the founder of the Synarchist movement. From Paris, the duo returned to London.

In 1899, two years after al-Afghani died, Lord Cromer made Abduh the Grand Mufti of Egypt. Abduh in turn, begat Mohammed Rashid Rida (1865-1935), a Syrian who migrated to Egypt to become Abduh’s leading disciple. Rida founded the organization that would be the immediate precursor to the Muslim Brotherhood, the Society of Propaganda and Guidance. That Freemasonic organization published a journal, The Lighthouse, which provided “Islamist” backing to the British colonial rule over Egypt, by attacking Egyptian nationalists as “atheists and infidels.” In Cairo, under British patronage, Rida launched the Institute of Propaganda and Guidance, which brought in Islamists from every part of the Muslim world to be trained in political agitation. Rida and other disciples of Abduh founded the People’s Party, which openly agitated in support of British colonial rule.

One graduate of the Institute for Propaganda and Guidance, who also was a central figure in the People’s Party was Hassan al-Banna (1906-49). Al-Banna would found the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928.

👉The original Muslim Brotherhood was an unabashed British intelligence front.👈

The mosque in Ismailia, Egypt, which was the first headquarters of the Brotherhood, was built by the (British) Suez Canal Company, nearby a British World War I military base. During World War II, the Muslim Brotherhood functioned as a de facto branch of the British military. In 1942, the Brotherhood created the “Secret Apparatus,” an underground paramilitary organization that specialized in assassinations and espionage….

BRITISH BRAINS AND AMERICAN BRAWN [can you say CANNON FODDER? -GC]

The untimely death of Franklin Roosevelt in April 1945 offered London the opportunity to shape the postwar global political landscape. Winston Churchill’s famous “Iron Curtain” address defined the Cold War and forged an Anglo-American partnership that

👉Churchill once described in the observation: “With British brains and American brawn, we can rule the world.”

Thus began an Anglo-American collusion with the Muslim Brotherhood and spinoff right-wing Islamist agencies, under the banner of fighting Godless communism. 👉Unfortunately, often American policymakers, under British sway, mistook legitimate nationalist movements in the Arab world for Soviet fronts, despite occasional protests from American diplomats and intelligence officers...

….

And in my opinion it was our own State Department that betrayed the USA.

All we have to do is look at Henry Kissinger – Wikipedia

Born in Germany, Kissinger emigrated to the United States in 1938 as a Jewish refugee fleeing Nazi persecution. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II… He acted as a consultant to government agencies, think tanks, and the presidential campaigns of Nelson Rockefeller and Nixon before being appointed as national security advisor and later secretary of state by President Nixon…

During the American advance into Germany, Kissinger, though only a private, was put in charge of the administration of the city of Krefeld because of a lack of German speakers on the division’s intelligence staff. Within eight days he had established a civilian administration. Kissinger was then reassigned to the Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC), where he became a CIC Special Agent holding the enlisted rank of sergeant. He was given charge of a team in Hanover assigned to tracking down Gestapo officers and other saboteurs, for which he was awarded the Bronze Star. Kissinger drew up a comprehensive list of all known Gestapo employees in the Bergstraße region, and had them rounded up… [This underestimates Kissinger’s role -GC]

In 1955, he was a consultant to the National Security Council’s Operations Coordinating Board. During 1955 and 1956, he was also study director in nuclear weapons and foreign policy at the Council on Foreign Relations.

From 1956 to 1958, Kissinger worked for the Rockefeller Brothers Fund as director of its Special Studies Project. He served as the director of the Harvard Defense Studies Program between 1958 and 1971. In 1958, he also co-founded the Center for International Affairs with Robert R. Bowie where he served as its associate director. Kissinger’s Public Confession as an Agent of British Influence

The following is the prepared text of Henry Kissinger’s May 10, 1982 speech to the Royal Institute of International Affairs, in commemoration of the Bicentenary of the Office of the Foreign Secretary. The speech was entitled, “Reflections on a Partnership: British and American Attitudes To Postwar Foreign Policy.”

American memories were longer: The First World War was a temporary exertion, after which we withdrew into isolationism; 👉during the ’20s the U.S. Navy Department still maintained a “Red Plan” to deal with the contingency of conflict with the British fleet.

It was not until the war with Hitler that the gap closed permanently. In the immediate postwar period we were held together by strategic circumstances which imposed the same necessities, whatever the different philosophical premises. American resources and organization and technological genius, and British experience and understanding of the European balance of power, were both needed to resist the sudden threat from the Soviet Union. The Marshall Plan and North Atlantic Treaty, while formally American initiatives, were inconceivable without British advice and British efforts to organize a rapid and effective European response.

Bevin, the unlikely originator of this revolution in British diplomacy, shrewdly calculated that Britain was not powerful enough to influence American policy by conventional methods of pressure or balancing of risks. But by discreet advice, the wisdom of experience, and the presupposition of common aims, she could make herself indispensable, 👉so that American leaders no longer thought of consultations with London as a special favor but as an inherent component of our own decision-making. The wartime habit of intimate, informal collaboration thus became a permanent practice…

The British were so matter-of-factly helpful that they became a participant in internal American deliberations, to a degree probably never before practiced between sovereign nations. In my period in office, the British played a seminal part in certain American bilateral negotiations with the Soviet Union—indeed, they helped draft the key document. 👉In my White House incarnation then, I kept the British Foreign Office better informed and more closely engaged than I did the American State Department…👈

Present day British/Fabian meddling in the Middle East:

For those who dismiss the Fabian Society, it was a FABIAN SOCIETY PHAMPHLET, From Dictator to Democracy that was spotted in EGYPT by journalists and suggested as a catalyst to the unrest during the ‘Arab Spring.’

As journalists have sought to untangle the disparate threads that unite these uprisings [in Egypt and Libya], one of the most interesting revelations has been a common reference to a dusty — but still relevant — book, “From Dictatorship to Democracy.”

Past president of the Fabian Society, ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair made headlines: Tony Blair will earn around £2 million a year in his part-time role as adviser to the Wall Street bank JP Morgan and will also continue to carry out his unpaid work as a UN Middle East envoy.

1When one of you has a grievance against a brother, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? 2Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 3Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, matters pertaining to this life! 4If then you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who are least esteemed by the church? 5I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no man among you wise enough to decide between members of the brotherhood, 6but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? 7To have lawsuits at all with one another is defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8But you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that even your own brethren. 9Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts, 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you. Dear KMAG: 20240909 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Joe Biden didn’t win. This is our Real President:

AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.

This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).

And yes, it’s Monday…again.

But we WILL get through it!

We will always remember Wheatie,

Pray for Trump,

Yet have fun,

and HOLD ON when things get crazy!

We will follow the RULES of civility that Wheatie left for us:

Wheatie’s Rules:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And while we engage in vigorous free speech, we will remember Wheatie’s advice on civility, non-violence, and site unity:

“We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”

“Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”

If this site gets shut down, please remember various ways to get back in touch with the rest of the gang:

Our beloved country is under Occupation by hostile forces.

Daily outrage and epic phuckery abound.

We can give in to despair…or we can be defiant and fight back in any way that we can.

Joe Biden didn’t win.

And we will keep saying Joe Biden didn’t win until we get His Fraudulency out of our White House.

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:

noun

  • instrument for measuring fee for hired vehicle
  • instrument installed in a taxicab to measure distance traveled and waiting time and to compute and indicate the fare
  • meter in a taxi that registers the fare (based on the length of the ride)
  • device installed in a taxicab that calculates the fare based upon distance traveled and waiting time

So how do YOU pronounce this word?

MUSIC!

OK – this is one of my old faves – and now I get to hear it like it was the first time, through this lovely lady.

Good stuff! “Jazzy!”

THE STUFF

And then there is the taxi that costs way too much and only takes you down a few miles.

And maybe you come back up.

Let me put it this way.

Biden-Harris (terrible idea) was a carbon fiber submarine.

Harris-Walz (worse idea) is a carbon fiber submarine with explosive armor around it ……. “because it might help.”

But remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

2024·09·07 Joe Biden Didn’t Win Daily Thread

What is it that feeds our battle, yet starves our victory?

January 6 Tapes Reminder

After the first release, we were supposed to get more, every week.

As far as I know it hasn’t happened.

Speaker Johnson, please follow through!

A Caution

Just remember…we might replace the RINO candidates. (Or we might not. The record is mixed even though there is more MAGA than there used to be.) But that will make no difference in the long run if the party officials, basically the Rhonna McDaniels (or however that’s spelled–I suspect it’s RINO), don’t get replaced.

State party chairs, vice chairs, secretaries and so on, and the same at county levels, have huge influence on who ultimately gets nominated, and if these party wheelhorses are RINOs, they will work tirelessly to put their own pukey people on the ballot. In fact I’d not be surprised if some of our “MAGA” candidates are in fact, RINO plants, encouraged to run by the RINO party leadership when they realized that Lyn Cheney (and her ilk) were hopelessly compromised as effective candidates. The best way for them to deal with the opposition, of course, is to run it themselves.

Running good candidates is only HALF of the battle!

Biden Gives Us Too Much Credit

…we can move on to the next one.

Apparently Biden (or his puppeteer) has decided we’re to blame for all of the fail in the United States today.

Sorry to disappoint you Joe (or whoever), but you managed to do that all on your own; not only that, you wouldn’t let us NOT give you the chance because you insisted on cheating your way into power.

Yep, you-all are incompetent, and so proud of it you expect our applause for your sincerity. Fuck that!!

It wouldn’t be so bad, but you insist that everyone else have to share in your misery. Nope, can’t have anyone get out from under it. Somehow your grand vision only works if every single other person on earth is forced to go along. So much as ONE PERSON not going along is enough to make it all fail, apparently.

In engineering school we’re taught that a design that has seven to eight billion single points of failure…sucks.

Actually, we weren’t taught that. Because it would never have occurred to the professors to use such a ridiculous example.

Kamala Harris has a new nickname since she finally went west from DC to El Paso Texas: Westward Hoe.

Spot Prices

All prices are Kitco Ask, 3PM MT Friday (at that time the markets close for the weekend). (Note: most media quotes are for the bid…the price paid by the market makers, not the ask, which is what they will sell at. I figure the ask is more relevant to people like us who wish we could afford to buy these things. In the case of gold the difference is usually about a dollar, for the PGMs the spread is much wider.)

Last Week:

Gold $2,504.30
Silver $28.92
Platinum $936.00
Palladium $993.00
Rhodium $4,975.00
FRNSI* 120.146-

This week, markets closed at 3PM Mountain Time Friday for the weekend.

Gold $2,498.20
Silver $28.04
Platinum $931.00
Palladium $933.00
Rhodium $5,050.00
FRNSI* 119.850+
Gold:Silver 89.094+

Gold dipped below 2500 on Wednesday but bounced back on Thursday, only to get beaten down again on Friday. For now it seems to be sticking to a relatively narrow trading range, straddling the $2500 mark.

Silver is getting beaten up much worse.

BTW (possibly of benefit to Barb Meier) the plus or minus sign at the end of the FRNSI and Gold:Silver is simply to indicate whether the number is actually slightly above or below what I wrote and that I rounded down or up, respectively. In this case 119.850+ means a bit above 119.850, so I had to round down. A bit more and I would have rounded up to 119.851 and written 119.851-.

A PS. Last week I gave the value of 71/387ths out to about a gazillion decimal places, but it turns out my suspicions were correct: they were garbage after a while. I ginned up a spreadsheet to do long division for as long as one likes, and 71/387ths repeats after 21 decimal places and is: 0.183 462 532 299 741 602 067 (then 183 462, etc). So what? Well take a look at the 2067 at the end. As in $20.67.

The Sun

Resuming our survey of our solar system, we take up the Sun.

It is tempting to call the Sun the 800 pound gorilla of the solar system…but this would be a bad idea because it understates the matter. Jupiter is more massive than the other planets put together, so it is the 800 lb gorilla of the solar system.

The sun is 1,048 times as massive as Jupiter, which makes it the 400 ton brachiosaurus of the solar system. (And in case you’re wondering, the Sun is 332,950 times the mass of the Earth.)

It’s also very different from every other thing in the solar system; it’s a ball of hot, ionized gas and is generating 383 septillion watts (that’s 24 zeros) of power, or that many joules per second. And it has been doing so for 4.6 billion years and will continue to do so for another 4-5 billion years at least. No other body in the solar system does that–the rest shine in our night sky because they reflect the light from the Sun.

It shines like that because its surface is at a temperature of 5,772 K…though it is much, much hotter at the center, 15.7 million K.

Or, to put it in five words, “the Sun is a star.” A star a bit above the median, but about average. It’s brighter than 85% of all stars in this galaxy (many of the ones that beat it really break the curve though), and compared to other nearby stars it’s more massive than 95% of them.

Unlike other stars that are trillions or even quadrillions of kilometers away, the Sun averages 149,597,870.7 kilometers from the Earth.

How do we know that? We bounce radar off of it. But before that…well, that’s a fascinating story having to do with transits of Venus across the face of the Sun as seen from Earth. I’ve told this story before here (yes it’s about Venus transits but tells the whole story): https://letreasonreign.wordpress.com/2012/05/13/venus-transit-6-june-2012/ but here’s a different take:

The power source is hydrogen fusion, generally through a process called the proton-proton chain. Other stars, either more massive or later-in-life than the Sun, have other power sources (all discussed here in part 22 of the big physics series: https://www.theqtree.com/2021/10/23/2021%c2%b710%c2%b723-joe-biden-didnt-win-daily-thread/).

As I mentioned before, the Sun is made of ionized gas. It’s 73.5% hydrogen, 24.8 percent helium…and remaining 1+% is basically everything else (mostly oxygen, a lot of carbon, iron, neon… This is pretty close to the composition of interstellar gas in nebulas, which is, after all, what collapsed to form the Sun in the first place.

Since the Sun is a ball of gas, it has no solid surface. But it has a diameter, given as 1,390,000 km (versus Earth’s 12,756 or so km). What’s that the diameter of, if there’s no solid surface?

What we see when we look at the Sun is a glowing sphere; below that “surface” we cannot see because ionized gas is not transparent. We call that surface the photosphere, from the Greek for light and sphere…in other words, “ball of light.”

It’s not a good idea to look at the Sun, it’s an even worse idea to look at it through a telescope. But you can cut the light down by 999,999/1,000,000ths and take some decent photographs. (However, you’ll see my photographs here instead.)

You might be wondering why I used a black and white photograph. It’s not a black and white photograph; it turns out the Sun isn’t yellow, it’s white.

If you look closely, you’ll see some dark spots; these are sunspots and we’ll get to them. For now, I’d like you to notice something else, a subtle darkening near the edges of the disc. This is known as limb darkening, and it doesn’t mean what you might think it means.

If you were looking at a ping pong ball or something similarly white, you’d see darkening near the edges; it’s that kind of shading that conveys to your eyes and brain that the ping pong ball is a sphere.

But that’s not what’s going on here; the Sun doesn’t reflect light, it generates it. Every point on the surface radiates light and heat in every direction (including back into the Sun where it is absorbed and radiated again). So a point near the edge of the disc should be sending us just as much light as a point near the center of the disc, instead it looks dimmer. It turns out this is a consequence of the light we see being emitted from anywhere within a depth of a few hundred miles below the “surface”, with the upper layers cooler than the lower ones. More discussion here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limb_darkening

If you could somehow stand on the “surface” of the Sun without being instantly vaporized, you’d weigh 27.9 times what you do on Earth. The escape velocity for a rocket would be 617.7 km/sec (versus 11.2 km/sec for Earth). I doubt a rocket could be built that would do that…it’s actually over 0.2 percent the speed of light.

We actually have a solar orbiter probe…which if you think about it, Earth itself could be thought of as such a thing. But no I mean an actual spacecraft, the Parker Solar probe, launched in 2018. It is in orbit and gets as close as 4.3 million kilometers (compare to the 150 million kilometers we average on “Spaceship Earth”). It moves as fast as 690,000 km/hr or 191 km/sec, which is 0.064% the speed of light…by far the fastest thing we’ve ever built. Its main task is to study the solar corona. But I am getting ahead of myself.

The Sun, like the Earth, is a sphere, and, like the Earth consists of concentric layers. The Sun’s core, the inner 25% by distance, is where the nuclear fusion happens. Surrounding that is the radiative zone, about twice as thick. The energy generated in the core works its way though this zone by radiation…gamma rays from the fusion eventually weakening to something that won’t kill us. It can take ten thousand years for the radiation to get through, because it bounces from nucleus to nucleus in a random walk, so the light you see now is the result of fusion that happened as we were emerging from the last ice age.

Both the core and the radiative zone rotate uniformly, but the next zone, the convective zone, does not; the parts of it near the equator rotate in less time than the areas below the poles. The primary mode of heat transfer in this layer is convection; hot material rises, carrying the heat to the surface; after cooling it sinks down again to get reheated. The boundary between the two is called the tachocline, here is were the layers actually slide past each other because of the differences in rotation rate. It’s thought that this layer creates the Sun’s magnetic field.

Above that layer is the photosphere, which is cool enough and transparent enough that the photons that make their way to it finally, are free to go…and one in a billion end up hitting Earth eight and a half minutes later–and turn night into day.

Above the photosphere is the chromosphere, which is visible briefly as a reddish flash at the very start and end of totality during a solar eclipse.

Above this is a transition region where helium becomes ionized (visible in ultraviolet light, from space), and then, finally the corona.

The corona–and for that matter everything else outside of the photosphere–is effectively invisible to us here on Earth…except during a total solar eclipse.

As seen here, in this photograph I took during the last eclipse:

If you look closely at this picture you will see pink “flames” around the disk of the Moon. They should look vermillion; alas they’re blown out in this picture. These are prominences, and are caused by the interaction of ionized (charged) gas with the Sun’s magnetic field.

The prominences are a lot more prominent (ahem) in this picture, near the bottom of the disk, and there’s also a beauty of an arch at 3 o’clock.

Prominences can be seen by telescopes with the proper filters to blot out all but the hydrogen alpha wavelength of light. Here’s a closeup taken by a competent photographer, with the correct colors:

Besides pumping out visible light and heat copiously and relentlessly for billions of years (even more persistent than the IRS), the Sun creates gigantic numbers of neutrinos from fusion. Neutrinos rarely interact with anything; the neutrinos generated in the Sun’s core leave the Sun seconds later, moving at the speed of light through everything without being affected, like Democrats and the criminal justice system. Even at this distance from the Sun, every square centimeter that’s face-on to the Sun has ten billion neutrinos pass through it every second (less of course if the surface is at an oblique angle to the sunlight).

By the way, it means this many neutrinos pass through every square centimeter of you every second. And don’t think it doesn’t happen at night…they go right on through the Earth as if it’s not there, and come up at you from the ground. The good news is if they go right through you, they do nothing at all to you. It’s when you stop one–very rare but it does happen–that you’ve actually taken a hit. This will happen to one person out of four during a normal lifetime. (At ten billion per second per square centimeter, and one chance in four of getting a hit with the rest passing through harmlessly…you can see this is a rare event.) A single hit from radiation is nothing, though; you get vastly more from other sources. (Like potassium as in bananas.)

Far more important to us is the Sun’s magnetic field. As I’ve said the Sun is largely ionized gas…which is to say it’s full of stuff with electrical charges. This stuff moves (the Sun rotates, on average once every 28 days or so), and moving electrical charges generate magnetic fields.

The Sun’s magnetic field has a role in everything from sunspots to prominences to full-on coronal mass ejections; that’s where the Sun belches and flings a bunch of plasma out into space. If one of these hits Earth, it can muck with satellites and the power grid, conceivably even causing massive blackouts. The worst of these was the Carrington event of 1859. We just barely had a grid then, of telegraph lines. Nonetheless some telegraph stations caught fire. It was possible to send messages without supplying any power to the system. The chances of another like it within the next decade (which would be catastrophic) are rated at well under 1 percent.

The magnetic field of the Sun goes through cycles, gradually increasing over the span of roughly 11 years, then flipping polarity, decreasing, and then repeating the process with the magnetic field in the opposite direction. Sunspots, prominences and CMEs all increase (or decrease) in frequency as the magnetic field increases (or decreases).

But even when the Sun is calm, there is a constant stream of charged particles from the corona, outward in all directions; this is the solar wind and it would have long since stripped our atmosphere away were it not for the fact that Earth’s magnetic field deflects almost all of it. In fact this is why Mars has almost no atmosphere: It has no magnetic field.

Many ancient cultures worshiped the Sun. They realized that without it there’d be no life. We know more about the Sun, but if anything that just makes it even more impressive than we had realized. But we don’t think it is a god any more. We just call it the 400 ton brachiosaurus of the Solar System.

Already late…I don’t feel like this ready, but as Klingons would say, today is a good day to die. Hit Publish.

Fellow tree dweller, the late Wheatie, gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights.
  2. No running with scissors.
  3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

And Auntie DePat’s requests:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

All daily Mass readings are good today.

1 Corinthians 2:10-16

10God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11For what person knows a man’s thoughts except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. 13And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit. 14The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16“For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Psalms 145:8-14

8The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. 9The LORD is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made. 10All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O LORD, and all thy saints shall bless thee! 11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and tell of thy power, 12to make known to the sons of men thy mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of thy kingdom. 13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds. 14The LORD upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down.

Luke 4:31-37

31And he went down to Caper’na-um, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the sabbath; 32and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority. 33And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice, 34“Ah! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God.” 35But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm. 36And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” 37And reports of him went out into every place in the surrounding region.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast down to Hell Satan and all his evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Dear KMAG: 20240902 Joe Biden Didn’t Win ❀ Open Topic

Wolfie’s Wheatie’s Word of the Week:

diacoustic

adjective

  • of, like, or pertaining to the refraction of sound
  • pertaining to the science or doctrine of refracted sounds
  • relating to diacoustics

MUSIC!

Check out some super-artsy ambient music inspired by diacoustics, prehistoric anthropology, paleohistory, and “world” musical arts.

WHOA, MAN. DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

THE STUFF

I find the following to be one of the real beauties of the universe – the idea that there must be truths we cannot prove.

Sounds like a good design to me.

I can accept this.

Just sayin’!

And remember…….

Until victory, have faith!

And trust the big plan, too!

And as always….

ENJOY THE SHOW

Dear KMAG 2024.08.30 Health Friday Open Thread: The American Board of Internal Medicine Dictates “Toe the Line, Or Else”

The above image is courtesy of Board and Batten.

This post is part of Health Friday, a series of offerings related to Big Pharma, vaccines, general health, and associated topics. However, the discussion will not be limited to what is presented today; it is an Open Thread.

To begin, there are Important Wolf Moon Notifications, with a couple of extra items:

Free Speech is practiced here. “Use it or lose it.”

The following are alternate Q Tree sites for certain circumstances:

The U Tree is for “argue it out” interactions: https://utree.com.blog

The “Rescue Thread” at the U Tree: https://utree.home.blog and click on the “Featured” article.

The “third site”, in case the above two are not accessible: https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/

Civil discussion is practiced here. The excellent and timely Rules of our late, good Wheatie prevail:

One: No food fights.

Two: No running with scissors.

Three: If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.

Please follow the added guidelines as expressed here: www.theqtree.com/2019/01/01/dear-maga-open-topic-20190101/. Please do not give the modern-day version of Cato the Elder the opportunity to show “enmity” to the board.

The extra items:

What Yours Truly presents in this series, as in her previous blog posts for this board, is not medical advice — they are based on her over 4 1/2 years (and continuing) of reading about, researching about, and writing about “all things COVID”, Big Pharma, and other health topics. Readers are encouraged to please consult a healthcare practitioner regarding health concerns or conditions.

Today’s post in the Health Friday series regards the ongoing efforts by what Yours Truly calls Establishment Medicine to minimize, marginalize, and/or outright punish those healthcare professionals (especially physicians) who speak the truth about the COVID-19 virus itself and the COVID-19 “vaccines.”

For purposes of the post today, Yours Truly begins here: ABIM: “Follow the consensus, not the science. Saving lives is not a priority.”, from The Burning Platform, a post by Steve Kirsch. This details the American Board of Internal Medicine revoking the certifications of Dr. Pierre Kory and Dr. Paul Marik. The Washington Post and other media outlets gloated over this, trumpeting that the “medical disinformation spread” by these physicians (such as, that Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine can prevent and cure COVID-19 infections; and, that the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” are dangerous) was finished. Yours Truly’s presentation focuses on the ABIM decision regarding Dr. Kory.

Dr. Pierre Kory is a co-founder of COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC): https://covid19criticalcare.com/. He has been, and is, since the beginning of the disaster of COVID-19 and the COVID-19 “vaccines”, a leading voice in exposing the truth of this situation, along with being a champion of using Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine to prevent a COVID-19 infection and to treat COVID-19 infected patients. Until this month, Dr. Kory held three board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine — until this happened: The American Board of Internal Medicine Revoked All 3 of My Board Certifications, 17 August 2024. This is a big deal. Here’s why: By this action, the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) removed Dr. Kory’s ability to have hospital privileges; it removed his ability to hold an academic position; and, it removed his ability to work in a medical clinic or other facility where other physicians hold ABIM certifications. Dr. Kory can still practice medicine in a private clinic where there no ABIM physicians; or, he can work independently in a clinic that he himself establishes. Below are three screenshots from Dr. Kory’s article:

Note the above third screenshot. To remove the ability of physicians to “think out of the box” will be, in Yours Truly’s opinion, to implement “one-size-fits-all Establishment Medicine.” And this is not all — this approach will (if it hasn’t already) spill over into the CMS (Medicare / Medicaid) system, making it almost impossible for persons covered under this system to find physicians who want to “think out of the box.”

The history of medical board certification in the United States began in 1917. A brief history can be found here: www.ncbi.nim.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2394686/, “Professionalism and Accountability: The Role of Specialty Board Certification”, by Christine K. Cassell, MD, and Eric S. Holmhoe, MD, 2008. There are multiple entities that grant board certifications to physicians. Two of them are: the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) www.abms.org/, which grants certifications in 40 specialties and 89 “sub-specialties”; and, the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) www.abim.org/, which grants certifications in 14 specialties. In essence, board certification, which was at one time was an “add-on” to a physician’s already-established reputation and expertise is now a necessity — there is hardly a hospital, or a medical school, or a group practice that will consider hiring a physician who does not have a board certification, or is not working toward one. And, with the advent of “get board certified or forget about being hired”, comes what Yours Truly will call “the potential tyranny” of the granting entity over the physician who is board certified. There is continuing education and exams to renew the certifications; all of these cost money. There is “oversight” on the physician who obtains board certification — for example, are there any complaints from patients? Does the physician “spread misinformation” about things like the COVID-19 “vaccines” and/or “unapproved treatments” for COVID-19 infection? The granting entity can “charge” a physician who has board certification with “spreading misinformation” and/or “treating a patient with unapproved drugs”; the physician has to “defend” themself before the granting board in order to keep or to renew their certification(s). The granting entity has the sole power to either renew or to revoke the physician’s certification(s).

An opposite point of view on board certification is expressed here: Is Board Certification Overrated?, by Robert Anthony, 2010 (copyright 2010 by UBM). Below is a portion of the article:

On the other hand, here a screenshot from the ABMS article, About ABMS Board Certification:

Which appears, in Yours Truly’s opinion, to imply that a physician who is not board certified is somehow “lacking” in skills and knowledge and, perhaps, does not “meet a higher standard.”

Perhaps the most damning statement by Dr. Kory regarding the ABIM revoking his board credentials is this one, from his blog article referred to above:

Dr. Kory published a blog article in reply to the ABIM action against him: My Retaliation Against the American Board of Internal Medicine, 20 August 2024. Below is a screenshot from this article:

Read the above again. The ABIM has removed Dr. Kory’s ability to see patients in a hospital. He can’t participate in insurance plans — which means that any patient he sees in his own clinic must pay for all services, tests, and so on, out of pocket. This may include charges that would normally be covered by Medicare / Medicaid. He will have to carry less medical malpractice insurance. All of these can potentially mean that patients who need his services but cannot pay cash for them, are also potentially shut out from his services. His article above needs to be read: in it, he “exposes the underbelly” of the ABIM.

Dr. Meryl Nass (https://merylnass.substack.com/) also had her board certification revoked by the ABIM. The organization did not even bother to tell her that this was done: https://merylnass.substack.com/p/kory-and-marik-were-just-stripped, “Kory and Marik were just stripped of their specialty board certifications. So was I, but the ABIM never even bothered to tell me”, 14 August 2024. Dr. Nass also, in another blog post, reveals what may one item behind what the ABIM is doing — the organization apparently wants to replace the physicians whose certifications were revoked with medical doctors from foreign countries: https://merylnass.substack.com/p/after-stripping-doctors-of-their, “After stripping doctors of their credentials and making it impossible to practice ethical medicine, the ABIM wants to bring in foreign medical doctors as replacements”, 24 August 2024. Below is a JPG of the ABIM’s statement, shared by Dr. Nass from another physician:

To add another aspect to the discussion, Yours Truly believes there ** may ** be some involvement of the AMA (American Medical Association) in the revoking of board certifications: AMA adopts new policy aimed at addressing public health disinformation, 13 June 2022. Below is a screenshot from the press release:

Note the penultimate point regarding “specialty boards.” In Yours Truly’s opinion, the AMA is one of the bastions of what may be called “Establishment Medicine” (the others being entities such as: the CDC; the FDA; the medical schools of Harvard University, Stanford University, Cornell University, etc.)

Let’s say that a board-certified physician, “fully vaccinated and boosted” who “followed the science”, after watching “vaccinated and boosted” patients, colleagues, perhaps even family members, begin to present with “the doctors are baffled” medical issues; or, perhaps, a cancer that was in remission that has returned. Let’s say that this physician starts to feel a little uneasy regarding the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” and does a little research — perhaps, by reading a blog or two written by someone like Dr. Kory; perhaps, by reading some published scientific literature regarding “first onset of psychosis after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination” (there are multiple papers discussing this that can be found online.) Let’s say that this physician comes to the realization that the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” are not “safe and effective”, but instead are the opposite. Let’s say this physician has board-certification renewal coming up in a few months. And, to top it off, let’s say that this physician has a family to provide for, a mortgage to pay, and medical school debt to pay off. What is this physician to do? — without jeopardizing the job, the board certification, perhaps even the License to Practice Medicine? It is Yours Truly’s opinion that this kind of situation is starting to “bubble under the surface” of more than one physician currently in practice. It is not an easy situation to be in.

Where does this situation leave the patient? If the physician who discovers that the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” (actually, gene therapy and modification injections [the DNA of the “vaccinated” person is changed by the ingredients and mechanisms of these “vaccines”]) are ineffective and dangerous, but doesn’t / can’t say a word to the patient to not take them — doesn’t this violate the oath of “First, Do No Harm” that the physician swore upon receiving the degree of Doctor of Medicine? If the physician who finds out, for example, that Paxlovid has a high “rebound infection” percentage, but doesn’t / can’t say a word to the patient to not take this combo-drug but substitute, say, Hydroxychloroquine, Zinc, and Vitamin D to combat a COVID infection — doesn’t this silence put the patient at risk? One in Five Experience Rebound COVID After Antiviral Drug, New Study Shows, 13 November 2023. The article regarding the DNA change made by the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” is here: https://doctors4covidethics.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/causality-article. “Vascular and organ damage induced by mRNA vaccines: irrefutable proof of causality”, by Michael Palmer, MD, and Sucharit Bhakdi, MD, 18 August 2022. Slide 14 of this article is a graphic showing how the DNA of the COVID-19 “vaccinated” person is changed by the Pfizer-BioNTech modRNA COVID-19 “vaccine.”

How did the ABIM, the ABMS, and the other privately-run board certification granting entities in the United States come to have such power over the practice of medicine and over the physicians who obtain board certification? (There are literally dozens of these boards: www.americanboardcosmeticsurgery.org/so-what-does-physician-board-certification-actually-mean/, 7 February 2019.) To Yours Truly, it appears that they possibly used a combination of influence, lobbying, personal connections with medical schools, and other “tactics.” The result may well be an “authority” that these certification boards created and arrogated to themselves, in the name of “ensuring quality delivery of healthcare by qualified physicians.” While this may have been a true and worthy aspiration previously, it seems it has “evolved” into “Follow these dictates, or else.”

And, from there, where does this potentially go? If a physician is stripped of board certification(s), that physician can still practice medicine — unless their state medical licensing board (perhaps with the involvement of the AMA, please see above in today’s post) decides to “charge” the physician with “spreading disinformation to the public” in “violation” of the diktats of Establishment Medicine. The physician now faces the possibility of losing the License to Practice Medicine. The case of Dr. Carrie Madej, DO, comes to mind. (Doctors of Osteopathy are medical doctors who have somewhat different training from MDs, but who are recognized and licensed to practice medicine and write prescriptions.) She was brought up on similar “charges” by the medical licensing board of Georgia. After a protracted fight, Dr. Madej ultimately decided to surrender her License to Practice Medicine in 2023. (Recall that Dr. Madej was one of the first to demonstrate that the modRNA COVID-19 “vaccines” contain substances that appeared to be strange.)

And, from there, where does the potential for innovation in medicine go? If physicians (especially board-certified physicians) have to, in effect, constantly “look over their shoulder” and “toe the line” to Establishment Medicine, doesn’t this affect the potential to come up with new theories and to investigate them? — such as in, using drugs in “off-label” circumstances to help patients? — such as in, using Hydroxychloroquine to prevent or treat COVID-19 infection, instead of injecting a patient with a modRNA COVID-19 “vaccine” that changes that patient’s DNA and can also lead to the appearance of myocarditis or even to the death of the patient? Instead of hospitalized COVID-19 infected patients being put on ventilators and given Remdesivir, a drug that can kill the patient instead of helping the patient? Why Remdesivir Failed: Preclinical Assumptions Overestimate the Clinical Efficacy of Remdesivir for COVID-19 and Ebola, Victoria C. Yan and Florian L. Muller, 17 September 2021.

Yours Truly will say it is vitally important that all persons, COVID-19 “vaccinated” or not, to have and keep their natural immune system in the best condition possible; to become educated regarding any prescription medication that they take; and, to research any medical injectables that are recommended / required that they be given.

“For you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
