Let the Bitch Lose

There are lots of reasons I’m about to shut up about what’s going to happen, but one of the biggest ones is simply this.

Now this quote’s EXACT FORMS have a very RICH history, but let’s not get distracted by that.

Quos Deus vult perdere, prius dementat.

Those whom God wishes to destroy, he first deprives of reason.

I want to SEE this historic truth FULFILLED.

I want to deprive Nancy Pelosi, who has already lost her own reason, of ours.

Nancy Pelosi, Mafia BITCH, is headed for defeat. She is headed for justice. She is headed for where she needs to go.

And I’m going to help.

By doing NOTHING. The same power TRUMP is using right now.

Our friend Sauce, or Realsauce, said something which triggered my fascination.

LINK HERE.

AND I QUOTE…..

We need Doomfags….prefer they not be here but maybe this is precisely where they need to be…

Sometimes I think that everyone trying to figure out whats going on COULD be unraveling the plan, exposing it…etc, etc..

No answer to that, its human nature to want to know…

Perhaps we make it a audience participation movie, we can just ALL be Doomspoons and try out doom each other all the while believing what we do to help sell the PLAN…….

…….NAH! 😂

You see, this got me to thinking. Why should we DOOMPOON on ourselves, when we can DOOMPOON on THEM?

The problem with THAT, is that it HELPS THEM. When we figure out THEIR downside, it HELPS them.

Allow me to explain.

There is a reason that the other side watches us. They use OUR brainpower to help them out of THEIR problems.

Why do I say this?

There have been multiple attacks by the left over the last decade, that I am POSITIVE were based on great ideas STOLEN from the articles, comments, images and memes, on both CTH and WQTH.

Well, we have POWER over that. Not much, but enough to make a difference. And particularly RIGHT NOW.

Right now, we are in the ENDGAME. This is like a huge chess game, and while “nothing can stop what’s coming”, I can testify [COUGH] to the fact that mafia bitches like Pelosi are tricky as hell.

She needs every edge she can find to escape justice. So if some joker says “OMG – what about that pawn?”, he might as well lean over and tell Pelosi “Pssst – look out for that pawn.” He could actually help her – just a bit – at the last minute.

Why should we help her?

I say we DON’T.

LET THE BITCH LOSE.

https://youtu.be/EVWQ_JyusoE

I am thus going to no longer comment on what is happening.

I am going to let the bitch lose.

You see, I think that we’ve GOT HER TREASONOUS ASS.

I ain’t gonna say WHY. I ain’t gonna say HOW.

And what I DON’T KNOW, at this point, I don’t WANT to know.

I am just going to let the bitch lose.

We don’t have to argue with the doompooners.

We SHOULD NOT argue with the doompooners.

THEY did that to US to make us “doompoon”. They VICTIMIZED some of us, and those victims show the pathology of victims, who in turn become perpetrators. They “made crazy” those they wanted to destroy.

Well, the CHINAZIS, and the MAFIOSAS, and the TREASONOUS PROGS in CIA, DOJ, and FBI…..

We’re gonna let THEM go crazy, before THEY are destroyed.

SO – radio silence. That’s my new policy. My response to anybody who wants to say THIS, or say THAT, or ban this doompooner, or be that doompooner, is to simply say….

Let the bitch LOSE.

I ain’t even getting popcorn. I’m going to work on the site, take care of business, and watch the endgame play out. I’m not going to get riled up by her CRAP. I’m going to let her FALL HARD.

If I see what’s happening, I ain’t sayin’. I’m keepin’ my mouth SHUT.

I’m gonna let the bitch LOSE.

You all are welcome to join me. Don’t take the bait. If you have to say something, just say

Let the bitch lose.

I will be happy, when that evil woman is “taken care of”, to offer my belated view of things – the HISTORY that was missed – but when I do, it will be TOO LATE FOR HER CROOKED ASS.

Are you with me? Are you man or woman enough to NOT HELP THEM escape THEIR DOOM?

Are you content to STAND BY and watch them SWIRL THE DRAIN?

Good.

“They will drink and stagger and go mad because of the sword that I will send among them.” (Jeremiah 25:16)

W

Can you hear us now? No? Good. And GOODBYE.

Dear KAG: 20210114 Daily Thread

Cover image: Czar Nicholas II of Holy Mother Russia, the last of the Romanov Dynasty, and family.

It has been mentioned in the comments from our own Gail that Nicholas II was the last of the crown heads of Europe to openly resist a central bank. In the United States, all presidents who opposed central banks and took action against them except Andrew Jackson were murdered. In France…when it came to the Guillotining of King Louis XVI, could this be the reason?

From wiki:

The Kingdom of France’s first experiment with a central bank was the Banque Générale (Banque Générale Privée or “General Private Bank”), set up by John Law at the behest of the Duke of Orléans after the death of Louis XIV. Law received the bank’s 20-year charter in May 1716 and its stock consisted of 1,200 shares valued at 5,000 livres apiece.[2] It was meant to stimulate France’s stagnant economy and pay down its staggering national debt acquired from Louis XIV’s wars, including the War of the Spanish Succession. It was nationalized in December 1718 at Law’s request and formally renamed the Banque Royale a month later.[3] It saw great initial success, increasing industry 60% in two years, but Law’s mercantilist policies saw him seek to establish large monopolies, leading to the Mississippi bubble. The bubble would ultimately burst in 1720, and on 27 November of that year, the Banque Royale officially closed.[4]

The collapse of the Mississippi Company and the Banque Royale tarnished the word banque (“bank”) so much that France abandoned central banking for almost a century, possibly precipitating Louis XVI’s economic crisis and the French Revolution. Later successors like la Caisse d’escompte (from 1776 to 1793) and la Caisse d’escompte du commerce (from 1797 to 1803) used the word “caisse” instead, until Napoleon retook the term with la Banque de France (“Bank of France”) in 1800.

It’s a bit slanted, but the French finances here are blamed on France not having a central bank, something Louis XVI opposed, not the spendthrift habits of the House of Bourbon from which the central bankers had no way to profit in those years.

Could the same fate await President Trump and his family as did the crown heads of Europe and American presidents who opposed central banks?

It has been suggested here that that is the case.

Is President Trump opposed to a central bank? He has not said explicitly, but among any number of other issues that might be why the deep state puppets are eager to not just run him out of Washington, but wreck him in every other way.

https://youtu.be/WszlnlblLyk

President Trump spoke to the nation on Wednesday afternoon. Does this look and sound like a man who is worried?

Even having been impeached on a second trumped up charge, the man is the boss.

I know there are people here who are anxious for perp walks (or in the case of Jerry Nadler and a few others perp waddles), but perhaps the head(s) of Hydra need to go first. Do we really know who these people are?

We’re gonna find out, that’s for sure.

This is one of the links embedded in the XVII post 2807.

And from me, little Miss DePat, a message to the lawmakers who seem to forget how they got into power.

_______________________________________________

As usual, this is the daily thread, the place to put all information that needs to be out there – Q drops, Q drop decodes, riot information, news flashes, Chy-na flu updates, fashionable mask photos, satire, memes, and of course cute animal videos.

In the meantime, the short and sweet version of “THE RULES” is here borrowed from Tuesday:

Guidelines for posting and discussion on this site were outlined by our host, WolfM00n. Please, review them from time to time.

The discourse on this site is to be CIVIL – no name calling, baiting, or threatening others here is allowed. Those who are so inclined may visit Wolf’s other sanctuary, the U-Tree, to slog it out.

This site is a celebration of the natural rights endowed to humans by our Creator as well as those enshrined in the Bill of Rights adopted in the founding documents of the United States of America. Within the limits of law, how we exercise these rights is part of the freedom of our discussion.

Fellow tree dweller Wheatie gave us some good reminders on the basics of civility in political discourse:

  1. No food fights…okay wrapped chocolate miniatures are fair game
  2. No running with scissors, we’re going to need them to cut wrapping paper
  3. If you bring snacks, be sure they are made with bacon

Auntie DePat’s requests as we are all, ahem, adults, not uncivilized pygmies:

If you see something has not been posted, do us all a favor, and post it. Please, do not complain that it has not been done yet.

Please, check the CURRENT page, at least, of posts for the item you have to bring to the tree. It may well have been posted previously. Twinsing can’t usually be helped, but for Q-Treepers pressed for time, all efforts to keep the current page, at least, repeat free will prevent additional comments that call for the scroll wheel.

The scroll wheel on your mouse can be your friend. As mature adults, please use it here in the same manner you would in avoiding online porn.

Thank you so much for any and all attention to such details. It is GREATLY appreciated by more than one party here.

HEBREWS 3:7-14

7Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, when you hear his voice, 8do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness, 9where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years. 10Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, `They always go astray in their hearts; they have not known my ways.’ 11As I swore in my wrath, `They shall never enter my rest.'” 12Take care, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. 13But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today, ” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14For we share in Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end,

Prayers for the nation, the salvation of humanity, and all of us here as well as our families are welcome.

STRENGTH

I am absolutely in love with this image which Deplorable Patriot brought to our attention in yesterday’s daily post:

Cover image: The Apotheosis of Washington, fresco, Constantino Brumidi (1805–1880), USCapitol (in the rotunda dome)

In this scene armored Freedom, sword raised and cape flying, with a helmet and shield reminiscent of those on the Statue of Freedom, tramples Tyranny and Kingly Power; she is assisted by a fierce eagle carrying arrows and a thunderbolt.

I thought it looked even cooler when the Wolf Moon Logo was attached to the center of the image at the top of the page:

Or better still, close-up!

YES! Right on Freedom’s swinging arm!

You will notice that the TAG LINE is a little less “Q” and a little more “us”, thanks to a great suggestion from Zorro, when I made that comment.

Although you will note one small edit from the ACTUAL original comment.

I originally said “Let us see the rest of our lives as love-letters to future historians, and leave TRUTH behind.”

I changed it to “Let us live the rest of our lives as love-letters to future historians, and leave TRUTH behind.”

NOT “leave it behind” as in abandon it. I mean EMBRACE THE TRUTH. And then leave it behind for others, as a GIFT to posterity.

Obviously, the change from see to live is the result of a transformation of the original statement with a function, that function being the maxim ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

And while speaking is an action – and a very important one – protected by the First Amendment – the ACTION of ACTUALLY speaking is much louder than the THOUGHT of MAYBE speaking.

Just keep that in mind.

What I want to ACTUALLY say to you all today, is a bit of a fireside chat about where I am going. Some of you may choose to go with me. Others may not. I will NEVER force anybody to go with me, anywhere. This is a VOLUNTEER army. I don’t believe in the draft – in conscription – and I never have, and never will.

But there is something else I will never do.

I will never abandon Donald J. Trump.

Never. Ever. Never, ever. No way, no how, uh-uh. Not going to happen.

Whatever Trump decides to do, I will commit firmly behind it. I did not say PRESIDENT Donald J. Trump, because I was with him BEFORE he was President, and I will be with him AFTER he is President, on Earth and in Heaven itself.

Our friend Imperator Rex had a thread today on Quod Verum, where he states that Trump stepping down and letting a corrupt Biden presidency begin would be utter failure. I will agree that this scenario would be horrible, but I also realize that it would galvanize the forces of freedom in ways never seen on this planet – albeit at great cost and in a horrifying tumult.

But I would NEVER abandon Trump if he chose this rebirth of freedom in the fires of civil war. I regard it as an excellent strategy. Not the ONLY excellent strategy, but one of many excellent ones.

I am NOT SCARED of civil war.

Here’s why.

MOST of the people inside Congress do not deserve this artwork. Most of them are COWARDS, who denounce the PATRIOTS who actually stood up against a fraudulent election.

Now – I’m not saying I’m a hero. I’m a hillbilly – a kulak – a deplorable – who proudly “trespassed” on the sacred grounds of an edifice which is now the Bastille of Queen Nancy of Better Ice Creams.

I think I’m liable for $1000 and six months in jail – which to me is an incredible bargain for being part of actual history, hate me as many may for my role in it. Unlike Roger Stone, I’m immune to COVID-19 – a much nastier punishment by Nancy’s Chinese friends, so it’s not an automatic death sentence if I am imprisoned. Nevertheless, if I die in jail, I’m not only immortal in the spirit – I choose a FAR more iconic end than any in my family.

If I had to go to jail for anything, peacefully protesting against Nancy Pelosi and her legion of fraudsters and accomplices has got to be the BEST thing I could possibly go to jail for. I feel morally and spiritually completed by being such a scoundrel.

I’m not planning on turning myself in, because that relieves the recipient of the protest from the POINT of the protest – to force upon the system of justice, the full contemplation of the relative injustice of that which is being protested against, versus the lesser act of non-violent civil disobedience. THEY have to make an effort to make the arrest. They have a choice. It forces people to THINK about things.

The DOJ – and that would be the same DOJ which BOOED Trump marchers – can go after me, for trespassing, or they can go after Nancy Pelosi for framing us with violent actions by Antifa and BLM hooligans, or they can go after the people who stole this election, or they can go after the people who pulled the Russia Russia Russia hoax, or they can go after many other crimes which they intentionally and maliciously ignore.

Their choice. It’s BEAUTIFUL.

But that’s only the beginning of my point.

This
Artwork
Celebrates
People
Who Had The Will To Fight
For Freedom.

I’m not seeing that in Congress.

I’m not seeing that in the GOP.

What I’m seeing is a lot of rationalization of corruption.

I’m seeing distraction and diversion and delay.

I’m seeing

LOOK OVER THERE AT THAT BUNCH OF HOOLIGAN SQUIRRELS WHICH I’M CALLING DOMESTIC TERRORISTS BECAUSE I’M SCARED THEY MIGHT BE RIGHT AND DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THIS IS OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE.

Hey, baby, it is out of ALL of our comfort zones.

BUT I’M GETTING CLOSER.
A LOT CLOSER.
AND I AM ALMOST AT EASE WITH DOING THE RIGHT THING.

So what is the right thing?

Well, WE need to collectively discover it. I think listening to Trump, like people listened to George Washington, is a very good idea. But Trump’s not the only worthy man or woman to listen to. There’s a lot of good ones now. And there’s more all the time, thanks to Trump.

Don’t listen to hotheads, don’t listen to moaners, don’t listen to nervous Nellies, and don’t listen to the sunshine patriots.

Listen to the UNSHAKEABLES.

The idea of impeaching a man who is bringing back America as it was founded is a laughingstock. Anybody who goes along with it is either guilty or weak. We LAUGH OFF impeachment. It’s a BAD JOKE.

What we need now is STRENGTH. Strength of WILL. Strength of CHARACTER.

Strength of HONOR, DUTY, and ENDURANCE.

Strength of BELIEF. Strength of TRUST. Strength of FAITH.

What we do not need is FEAR. The other side knows that FEAR is their only real weapon now. So strike it down. Don’t put up with it. Help others out of it.

I do not know what Trump is going to do, and I don’t care what he chooses to do.

My FAITH is THAT STRONG.

If you choose to make yours that strong, join me.

1-13-21 Midweek Musings

Praise God

Sing praises to God in seasons of storms,
And when skies are clear and days are warm.
Sing praises to Him when the oceans roar,
And when soothing ripples lap the white shore.

Sing praises to God in blizzards of snow,
And when the warm gentle breezes blow.
Sing praises to God in the worst of times,
And when you’re pleased and everything’s fine.

Sing praises to God when you’re crying, sad,
And when you’re smiling and feeling glad.
Sing praises to God when you’re sick in bed,
And when you’re healthy and well fed.

God made man to give glory to Him,
Then gave us His Son to cover our sin.
He gave us His Spirit to change our ways,
Shaping us more like Him every day.

One day in the future, He’ll bring us home,
To be one with Him, never more to roam,
To be filled ever with His joy and peace,
With wonders in Glory that never cease.

Now, don’t you think, in our brief time to live
That we should be grateful, that we should give
Our thanks and our praise to our God above,
Who gave us all this, because of His love?

Our hard times on earth, they go by so fast,
Seventy years, or so, ‘til life has passed.
Hard times may come, then hard times will go,
But an unpayable debt to Him we owe.

We owe it to God, to honor His Name,
Give Him our thanks, and His glory proclaim.
So all through our lives, in good or bad days,
Give God all the glory – give Him all our praise.

To God Be The Glory

1  To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life our redemption to win,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.

2  Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

3  Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.

I think he means all the ppl in biden’s “administration” who have been tapped (prematurely) and the biden-harris cabal of congress.

Considering that Senator Kamala Harris, supposedly “Vice President Elect,” has yet to resign her senate seat when doing so by now is normal protocol, and the reality that there are people nominated for cabinet positions and no hearings are taking place or even scheduled, Smiley may well have the right of it.

We will have to wait and see.

But, our resident P-Rex has declared this our collective Yoda moment:

Haven’t put this one up in a while. Seems appropriate for the unchartered waters we find ourselves in and not knowing what is going on one way or the other.

And now for the obligatory message from our sponsors:

Here at the Q tree we believe in the concept of CIVIL open free speech and the discussion that fleshes out ideas. When commenting and participating in the OPEN discussion on this thread all comments MUST NOT CONTAIN personal threats, baiting, name calling, or other anti-social words fomenting hate, violence or destruction. Our host Wolfm00n has strict rules about that.

MARK 1:29-39

29And immediately he left the synagogue, and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30Now Simon’s mother-in-law lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him of her. 31And he came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her; and she served them. 32That evening, at sundown, they brought to him all who were sick or possessed with demons. 33And the whole city was gathered together about the door. 34And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him. 35And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose and went out to a lonely place, and there he prayed. 36And Simon and those who were with him pursued him, 37and they found him and said to him, “Every one is searching for you.” 38And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also; for that is why I came out.” 39And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons.

POTUS will be well insulated/protected on AF1 and abroad (specific locations classified) while these operations are conducted due to the nature of the entrenchment. It is time to take back our country and make America great again. Let us salute and pray for the brave men and women in uniform who will undertake this assignment to bring forth peace, unity, and return power to the people.

It is our hope that this message reaches enough people to make a meaningful impact. We cannot yet telegraph this message through normal methods for reasons I’m sure everyone here can understand. Follow the questions from the previous thread(s) and remain calm, the primary targets are within DC and remain at the top (on both sides). The spill over in the streets will be quickly shut down. Look for more false flags – stay alert, be vigilant, and above all, please pray.

Ahh, John Stainer’s “Crucifixion”.

This is the best recording of this I could find, even if it doesn’t quite have the charm of watching the instrumentalists actually execute the score.

Your weekly reminder to take the pledge:

EZEKIEL 33:12-16

12And you, son of man, say to your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him when he transgresses; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall by it when he turns from his wickedness; and the righteous shall not be able to live by his righteousness when he sins. 13Though I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, yet if he trusts in his righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered; but in the iniquity that he has committed he shall die. 14Again, though I say to the wicked, `You shall surely die,’ yet if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right, 15if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 16None of the sins that he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right, he shall surely live.

LUKE 15:3-7

3So he told them this parable: 4“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? 5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, `Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.’ 7Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

As always, prayers for the fight against that which seeks to enslave us are welcome. Via con Dios.

Recognizing the Strategic Importance of Greenland to the United States

The time has come for the United States to take decisive action to defend its strategic interests in Greenland as part of a broader Arctic national policy. While the United States has played an essential role in Arctic and Greenland security in the past, in recent decades, a far-sighted vision of America’s Arctic imperative was neglected through multiple administrations. As international interest in the Arctic grows, the United States must adopt a robust policy for Greenland that clarifies our national relationship to the Danish territory, empowers a forward-leaning military posture, and provides for developing commercial trade relationships.

Since the Second World War, the United States has maintained a military presence in Greenland to defend against hostile nations developing a military presence in Greenland. At the outset of the war, the United States supported Denmark in defense of Greenland against Germany’s threat establishing a forward operating base out of the territory, from which maritime attacks or amphibious landings could be conducted. Soon afterward, the Cold War amplified the strategic value of Greenland as the Soviet threat grew. While the possibility of a Soviet military buildup in Greenland was real, the island’s military value became more offensive, as Thule Air Force Base provided the shortest path for American bombers to reach Russian targets in the event of an attack. Further, Thule’s location as the closest military outpost to the North Pole provided the ideal place to establish critical radar capabilities to monitor and communicate with polar satellites, an essential mission operation still necessary today.

While the United States and Denmark have a long-standing military relationship in Greenland, the Danish vision for Greenland has often contrasted strongly with the United States’ desires. In the 1960s, the United States Army engaged in several covert military experiments in Greenland without the Danish government’s knowledge or consent. Two of the more notable experiments were the construction of Camp Century, established to determine the feasibility of installing Minuteman missiles in the remote environment, and Project Iceworm, an attempt to construct tunnels and military base facilities from within Greenland’s ice sheet. Both experiments were doomed to diplomatic failure, as Denmark was less than enthusiastic about the United States’ military actions performed without their knowledge. For Denmark, Minuteman nuclear missiles’ presence risked Denmark’s position as a non-nuclear power, which diplomatically could not be compromised. Without Camp Century, there was no means to support Project Iceworm: The Greenland ice sheet proved to be too plastic to support a network of military tunnels, as tunnels required regularly retrenching to remain sustainable. The result of these failed experiments was a chill in the Danish-American military relationship. The United States could not establish the full spectrum of defense capabilities for Arctic defense that it had envisioned. The United States needs polar forward radar capabilities to support missile defense projects. Meanwhile, Denmark distrusted its former partner and the United States military’s presence within its sovereign territory.

Following the end of the Cold War, many nations have taken an interest in Arctic development. As supposed “climate change” in the Arctic warms the polar region and decreases the Arctic ice sheets’ expanse, Arctic regions are becoming a new and contested frontier for national development. The Russian Federation is pushing sovereignty claims deep into the Arctic and the North Pole, seeking to develop underwater energy reserves, and maintaining the world’s largest fleet of nuclear-powered icebreakers to sustain the northern sea route. Canada, likewise, has been quietly asserting its territorial sovereignty far to the north. Not to be left out of the Arctic race, China has asserted its commercial presence in the north, including negotiating to open mining operations in Greenland and investing in a fleet of icebreakers. As warming trends continue, a massive land grab for the Arctic threatens to create new tensions in the north.

The interest in the Arctic has not escaped Denmark’s notice. In response to growing military interest in the region, Denmark has increased its military deployment to Greenland and established an Arctic command to defend Danish holdings. Denmark’s more substantial hand is diplomatic, as it seeks to arrange cooperative relationships as a founding member of the Arctic Council. However, the Danish relationship with the United States remains in a state of tension, increasing the uncertainty in the region.

While many politicians, public policy, and military advisers have tried to warn of the growing importance of the Arctic, the United States’ military policy has not been sufficiently revised to address Arctic threats. Following the Cold War, drawdowns in the U.S. military led to a decade of the United States searching for footing in its place as the sole superpower in the world. Following 9/11, military intelligence and operations’ focus became the middle east and a war on terrorism. Finally, during the Obama administration, the military sequester hampered the military’s core war-fighting and defense functions, preventing substantive enhancements to the U.S. Arctic warfare posture. Thus, the United States is lagging in its Arctic military strategy at precisely the time that other nations are exercising their regional presence.

While the demand for bold American action in the Arctic has grown, none could have anticipated President Trump raising the possibility of formally acquiring the island of Greenland from Denmark and incorporating it as sovereign territory of the United States. Immediately mocked by the international media and political pundits, the President’s comments created a surprising space in the public discourse to explore the possibility of an American Greenland. There are many advantages and opportunities in what could become the most massive single territorial expansion of the United States in history, even as such an opportunity seemed impossibly lost in the past. The same drivers luring other nations to Arctic development could present greater possibilities to the United States.

Foremost, the United States would finally be able to cement its strategic military relationship with Greenland. Establishing Greenland naval bases would improve American defense of northern trade routes and mineral exploration. Naval defense of the Northwest Passage and a base of operations for an American fleet of icebreakers would open up the potential for safe and sustainable maritime trade between Asian nations and Europe through the north using dramatically shorted and less expensive trade routes. Additionally, an empowered United States could fully implement a ground-based missile defense capability. Expansion of the existing Thule Air Force Base would allow the facility to take on new missions for patrol and defense of Arctic airspace. New eastern bases to establish and train Arctic warfare ground forces in the face of new threats become a real possibility.

An American Greenland has much more to offer than military benefits: Greenland is ripe with development potential. Denmark has never capitalized fully on its territorial holdings, due in part to tensions between Greenlanders and Denmark about how the territory should be developed. With Greenlanders in favor of economic development, partnering with the United States could open up a new wave of economic development, starting with mineral rights. The United States has one of the most robust oil and gas development industries globally, and the opportunity to develop Greenland’s oil reserves could power economic transformation beneficial to both parties. The United States trade deficit consists in large part of oil imports. By increasing our supply of domestically produced oil, the United States would be in a position to balance the trade deficit dramatically. A strong American economic presence in Greenland would further serve as a disincentive to the predatory trade practices of nations such as China, limiting other nations’ ability to establish a strong economic and political footprint in the region.

The potential winners in an American Greenland are the Greenlanders themselves, consisting of the Inuit tribes and Danish settlers’ decedents. The harsh climate and limited economic prospects of life in Greenland make living on the island a challenging proposition. Poverty is present throughout the island, with a total population of only slightly over fifty thousand people, limiting economic growth potential and sustainment. The prospects of economic development, increasing wages, access to trade goods, and improved medical care access would be a welcome boost for the island’s inhabitants.

Regardless of whether Greenland’s territorial acquisition by the United States comes to fruition, the potential for economic, political, and military development remains compelling. Concerns about international imperialism and expansion in the Arctic region cannot be disregarded as nations position themselves to compete in the opening Arctic region: The Arctic will be developed, whether the United States is a forward player or not. Solidifying and normalizing the U.S. relationship with Denmark and Greenland is the best path for U.S. interest in the Arctic.

In his article “Race for the Arctic,” Brian Beary draws attention to Greenland’s strategic importance as the major world powers pursue land claims, mineral rights, international trade, and new shipping routes. Attempts to expand oil explorations have impacted Greenland’s position globally but have had impacts locally. Climate change offers unique economic development opportunities for a province long neglected by Europe (the European Union has no land presence in the Arctic, including Greenland, which is not part of the E.U.). Still, local fears of exploitation grow as Russia and China flex their economic and political muscle in the region. The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) provides an opportunity for nations to file claims on Arctic resources; however, the United States Senate has not shown the political will to ratify the treaty, including its land and mineral claims mechanisms. Greenland offers an easier path to oil exploration, with many international mineral and oil corporations opening offices and operations on the island.

Beary, Brian. “U.S. Trade Policy.” CQ Researcher, 13 Sept. 2013, pp. 765-88. Access 15 Nov. 2020.

Brian Beary notes the Chinese trade dynamic with North America reaches many geographically diverse and strategic ports of call. Beijing’s eye is on the Arctic:  A Chinese firm secured a contract with Greenland to exploit mining operations. China could book this contract in part because no other nation would match the investment offer, allowing China to buy its way into the Arctic. Additionally, Beary refers to Ed Gerwin’s observation that while the United States runs a trade surplus in manufactured and agricultural goods, oil imports are the main contributor to the U.S. trade deficit. As trade tensions continue to rise in 2020, the impact of oil production on the United States trade dynamic, particularly related to claims in Greenland and the large Arctic region, are matters that should direct United States policies in both international trade and energy.

Cooper, Mary H. “Missile Defense.” CQ Researcher, 8 Sept. 2000, pp. 689-712. Access 15 Nov. 2020.

In her article “Missile Defense,” Mary Cooper observes that a critical part of a missile defense system is the cooperation of international allies, particularly in providing sites for radar installations. Implementing an antimissile shield in the Arctic region that could protect all fifty states will require forward radar stations outside the present United States, in territory held by Great Britain or Danish Greenland. Former President Ronald Reagan articulated a pivotal motivation to missile defense: A robust defense system that is practically impervious to attack has the potential to make nuclear weapons “impotent and obsolete.” However, such a future rests on the willingness of often fickle international partnerships to participate in military alignments complicated by international commercial entanglements with Russia, China, and international bodies.

Karaim, Reed. “Arctic Development.” CQ Researcher, 2 Dec. 2016, pp. 989-1012. Access 15 Nov. 2020.

As Arctic nations are beginning to develop underwater natural resources in the Arctic aggressively, Reed Karaim observes that Denmark is taking a more assertive posture with Greenland and its Arctic holdings. In his article “Arctic Development”, Karaim notes Denmark’s position in the Arctic territorial race is substantial. Denmark lays claim to seabed territory along Greenland’s continental shelf, one of the most desirable Arctic regions for offshore oil exploration. Further, Denmark has established an Arctic command and expanded its military presence in Greenland. As the Arctic territorial rush begins in earnest, overlapping sovereignty claims to polar resources are likely to become more contentious.

The Danish-American political relationship during the Cold War led to unusual military research in Greenland. Nikolaj Petersen explains that since 1941 the United States has had a military presence in Greenland since Denmark cannot bear the burden of defending the island alone. Initially, the U.S. involvement in Greenland was to prevent a German stronghold from developing in Greenland at the outset of WWII. However, following the war, the Soviet threat drove the development of Thule Air Force Base as a forward deployment of bombers that could reach the Russian heartland in half the time that Soviet bombers could reach the United States. Greenland’s position at the top of the world near the geographic north pole provided unique strategic advantages, driving a robust Danish-American relationship with NATO’s rise. Despite the alignment of strategic priorities, differences emerged between Denmark and the United States, leading to the creation of unusual cover projects by the U.S. Army to experiment quietly with new strategies for deploying Minuteman missiles. The projects Camp Century and Project Iceworm demonstrate the lengths to which the United States was willing to extend itself in Danish Greenland without proper approval. Despite optimism by the State Department of Danish acceptance of Iceworm, the Danish government’s predictable response was a flat “no.” As a result, Denmark has not allowed the development of new defense areas in Greenland, leading to a current military relationship that both parties find unsatisfactory.

Weeks, Jennifer. “Future of the Arctic.” CQ Researcher, 20 Sept. 2013, pp. 789-812. Access 15 Nov. 2020.

In the article “Future of the Arctic,” Jennifer Weeks explores the future of the Arctic as climate change draws international interest to an area of the world previously locked away from human development by extreme conditions. Nation-states are jockeying for position to lay claim to untapped Arctic assets, starting with oil and natural gas reserves that may become accessible, then extending to other minerals and food sources. For example, Russia is pursuing regional claims according to the United Nations Convention on the Law of Sea–which the United States had not become a signatory of–while Canada extends claims to land masses up to the North Pole. The Arctic Council, an international forum promoting cooperation and coordination between eight member states, also looks to extend its reach in the region. Even nations such as India and China are actively exploring opportunities in the Arctic, with China investing in a fleet of icebreakers. The Northwest passage past Greenland to Alaska presents new opportunities for international shipping to open up European and Asian trade in ways never before possible. The opening of the Arctic portends seismic geopolitical shifts as new energy, commercial, and military applications reverberate globally.

Let’s not give the Internet Censors a reason to shut down this intellectual haven that Wolf has created for us.

In the following article there are one or two statements (not from God’s Word) that I cannot see are supported by God’s Word . . . or, perhaps, I’m not wise enough to make a solid connection to God’s Word. Nevertheless, this article is a timely presentation for our times.

God Raises Up Kings or Nations
and Removes Them

“Before Him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by Him as worthless and less than nothing. To whom, then, will you compare God? What image will you compare Him to?” (Isaiah 40:17,18 )

Civilizations come and go, and governments rise and fall.  Because our Creator loves people, He also blesses each nation with a span of time so it might prosper and do well, but this blessing ends when a nation becomes degenerate, rebellious, and unfit for self-rule.  When God determines that extended mercy for a nation has no redeeming effect, He marginalizes or destroys that nation.

Many Christians understand that God destroyed the world in Noah’s day because it became evil, but this is only part of the picture!  God drowned all but eight people in Noah’s day to free future generations from the evil conduct that belonged to their parents and grandparents.  The Lord created the Earth and it belongs to Him.  He loves future generations just as much as He loves the present generation.  When it becomes evident to Him that future generations will be ruined by the behaviors passed down by parents and grandparents, He wipes out the present generation. He did this in Noah’s day.  In more recent times, He did this with World Wars I and II.  Surprisingly, a God of love imposed these wars during the first half of the 20th century so the world’s population would grow and flourish 75 more years before needing another world war.  “But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God, the eternal King. When He is angry, the Earth trembles; the nations cannot endure His wrath.” (Jeremiah 10:10‘I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.’ ” (Isaiah 45:7)

Many Christians will not accept the premise that a God of love destroys nations when they become decadent and degenerate. (Ezekiel 14:12-21)  Notice what the Lord said to Ezekiel: “ ‘Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals, even if these three men – Noah, Daniel and Job – were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness,’ declares the Sovereign Lord. . . . ‘Or if I bring a sword against that country and say, ‘Let the sword pass throughout the land,’ and I kill its men and their animals, as surely as I live,’ declares the Sovereign Lord, ‘even if these three men were in it, they could not save their own sons or daughters. They alone would be saved.’ ” (Ezekiel 14:13-18)

World War III is Coming!

Sooner than later, the “sword” is going to come again.  World War III will occur.  Tensions are mounting. Nations are preparing for war.  Secret alliances are being made.  Military spending has increased. And now, for the first time since World War II, Japan and South Korea are building missiles for protection.  India is seeking to purchase submarines that can carry missiles.  Iran is developing its military prowess as fast as possible.  Israel is perfecting its use of drones.  China, Russia, and the United States are in an arms race and North Korea is defying the world’s nations.  Like it or not, World War III is coming; and when it does, millions of people will die.

Meanwhile at home, the United States is suffering from paralysis.  The leaders are fighting each other.  They are bogged down with complex domestic problems and cannot get anything done because they cannot agree on a solution.  Partisanship has created a do-nothing legislature.  The U.S. is facing large, complex problems so expensive that no one can offer a good solution.  Many governments in the world are in a similar or worse situation.

According to the Bible, the longevity of a government is determined by its commitment to moral principles God has dictated.  When a majority of people abide by these principles, God blesses that nation with prosperity and longevity.  He sends the Holy Spirit to prompt honest hearted citizens to be good neighbors.  The Holy Spirit helps people make good decisions because good decisions bring good results for individuals, families, and ultimately, the nation.  To ensure continuity for oncoming generations, God also raises up good leaders and the result is a good government that prospers and endures. This is why King David wrote:  “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance.  From Heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from His dwelling place He watches all who live on Earth– He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.  No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.  A horse [a symbol of military might] is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.” (Psalm 33:12-19, insertion mine)

Governments are very complex organizations.  In fact, they are so complicated that men cannot manage a government on their own.  Of course, a man or woman can rise to the position of a king, queen, dictator, or president, but only with God’s approval.  God sets kings up and takes them down according to His higher purposes.  Sometimes God will raise up a king to serve as a destroyer of other nations only to destroy that king and his nation when they pass the point of no return. (Jeremiah 25:9-12)  Because we cannot know or understand God’s higher purposes until He reveals them, we have to trust Him. We have to accept that He is carefully and thoughtfully managing the political processes on Earth to benefit the world.  Daniel told king Nebuchadnezzar,  “He [the Most High God] changes times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him.” (Daniel 2:21,22, insertion mine)

God Does Not Guarantee a Nation Will Be Successful

History indicates that prosperity and longevity is not a guaranteed right for any nation.  A nation will flourish or disappear depending on the behavior of its people and the wisdom of its leaders.  God enables a nation to prosper for as long as the majority of its people are honorable, living right, and making wise choices.  Think of the billions of decisions, the actions and consequences that occur every day within every nation.  If a million immoral decisions are made each day, a million evil consequences will follow, because the law of “cause and effect” cannot be broken.  Whatever we sow, we reap. (Galatians 6:7,8)  This axiom is true for individuals and governments.

For example, when Dictator Mao Zedong implemented “The Great Leap Forward” program in 1958, he did not anticipate that his efforts to transform China from an agricultural economy into a communist society would cause mass starvation within five years.  We now know that His decision resulted in the death of some eighteen to fifty-five million people!  A God of love allowed Mao to make such a decision even though God foreknew the outcome and He allowed Mao to rule over China for twenty five years as dictator.  This is because Mao’s choices fit within God’s plans for the future of China and the world.  This is a hard concept to accept because we cannot see the end from the beginning as God does.  In fact, a time is coming when God will allow the devil himself to rule over the whole world!  (Revelation 13:11-18)

Jesus understood the curse of sin.  He knew that evil things happen to innocent people, and He made it clear that those who cause others harm will be repaid:  “Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come.  It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.” (Luke 17:1,2“Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” (Romans 12:19)

Because adults have free will and a sinful nature a nation always has the possibility of rebellion and chaos.  This is why law enforcement is necessary.  To help offset man’s propensity for rebellion, and to help nations grow and improve, God has given adults the ability to recognize and appreciate a need for law and order.  He has also given us a “natural desire” to live in peace with one another and in harmony with the laws of the country.  Paul was aware of this phenomenon when he wrote Romans 13.  As you read his remarks, keep in mind that Paul was a prisoner in Rome when he wrote this:  “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.  Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.  For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.  Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.  This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.”  (Romans 13:1-6, italics mine)

When a nation advocates and exalts evil, a patient God removes His blessings from that nation in small steps, hoping that repentance and correction will occur.  If there is no change in behavior, problems soon begin to sprout like dandelions after a spring rain.  The nation’s economy flounders.  Poverty increases.  Sexual misconduct ruins relationships, and families and children are abused by predators.  Political problems escalate until finally, war engulfs that weakened nation.  One of the tell-tale signs of a nation’s imminent downfall is the arrival of poor managers.  When people are put in positions of power that are self-seeking and immoral, we know the end is near because they only make matters worse.  When lies and suspicion replace truth and trust, government is doomed. God is no respecter of persons.  He will destroy nations that He once blessed when they become unfit for His purposes because He owns and rules over the Earth.

God Permits Rebellion Against a Cruel Government

The Bible teaches that man’s first and highest duty is to obey God. (This is why church/state governments are so dangerous.)  When man’s laws run contrary to God’s laws, civil disobedience is warranted.  When Jewish leaders forbade the disciples from speaking about a resurrected Jesus, “Peter and the other apostles replied: ‘We must obey God rather than men!’ ” (Acts 5:29) Jesus highlighted the concept of “God first” when He repeated the first and greatest commandment.  He said we must love God with all of our heart, mind and soul and the second commandment is that we must love our neighbors as ourselves.  (Matthew 22:37-39)  Given the order presented in these two commandments, Paul’s counsel in Romans 13 could be considered a third commandment, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.”

When a government becomes cruel and oppressive, tyranny occurs and under such circumstances, God permits revolt, civil disobedience, and war.  In fact, the United States came to be a nation through acts of civil disobedience and the revolutionary war.  Then, about seventy-five years later, a civil war broke out between the north and the south and 620,000 people perished. In spite of all the blood that was shed in both wars, consider the results.  A great nation arose, greater than England by far!  A nation having fifty united states where no man is permitted to own another as a slave.

Many people have argued through the centuries (using Paul’s comments in Romans 13:1-6 and a concept called “the divine right of kings”) that revolting against government leaders is forbidden by Scripture.  But Paul included an important qualifier in his remarks.  Paul said, “For he is God’s servant to do you good.”  When a government violates God’s laws and when leaders become dishonest, cruel, and oppressive to maintain their power, they are doing no good.  God warns all government rulers that they will have to give an account for their actions. (Psalm 2:10-12)

Citizens of the U.S. are blessed to live in a country that has the finest constitution ever created, but the nation is falling apart because people have abandoned the moral principles which God requires to receive His blessings.  Corruption is replacing confidence and there is no shortage of liars and predators in politics.  Forty million of 360 million U.S. citizens need assistance to buy food and the median price of a home is beyond the reach of three-fourths of the population.  The number of people in poverty is swelling because the middle class is disappearing.  Wages are stagnant and student loans are proving to be ruinous for millions of young people.  More than ever, fellow Americans do not like or trust each other; and more and more, we carry guns because we are increasingly afraid of each other.  America has fallen so fast!

God Has a Solution to National Degeneracy

There is no human solution to the world’s problems, but there is a divine solution for both.  The downfall of all nations is near!  During the Great Tribulation a stern-faced king will arise; he will take control and utterly ruin everything on Earth – a fitting end for a world that insists on evil behavior.

How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! For who has known the mind of the Lord?

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.

The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like His glorious body, by the power that enables Him even to subject all things to Himself.

Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

. . . for the kingdom of God is . . . righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.

For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Behold, I am coming soon.

Yes, It’s True — Pictures Are In!!

I hinted at this in yesterday’s thread. I was there.

Why didn’t I tell anyone beforehand? Because of personal OPSEC. I’m not going to post on the internet that I am gone, just in case someone knows who I am AND doesn’t believe my disclaimers about where my coins are not located.

(Even if you don’t own valuables, thieves will steal your shit anyway, and they don’t care how much damage they do to your abode in so doing. I once got to pay hundreds of dollars to fix a car window (just under deductible) while on a road trip because some thief wanted a portable CD player that was worth maybe five bucks, tops.)

I will be posting pictures to this article overnight (I got over a thousand pictures, though many are near duplicates because my camera is fast and I took multiples at a time). No way can I finish that job before 10 PM Mountain Time, I’ve barely over an hour left right now.

I flew to a distant (from DC) city on Tuesday, rented a car, drove to a hotel outside DC that night, took the Metro in Wednesday morning, and took the Metro out Wednesday evening. Thursday was the reverse of Tuesday.

I ended up somewhere south of the Ellipse for the rally, then along with many thousands of others, walked along Constitution avenue, “behind” the big Smithsonian museums on the north side of the Mall. (American History, Natural History, etc. Air and Space is on the south side of the Mall.) We walked past the National Archives, and then, where Pennsylvania Avenue meets Constitution, we continued along Pennsylvania avenue. Thus, we ended up on the north side of the stands being built for the inauguration/installation. The pictures I saw Wolf post are from the south side. And apparently ForGodAndCountry was somewhere in the middle, in front of the stands, if I understood him correctly.

I was close enough to get CS gas (a couple of times) and tear gas (once), all in very limited quantities. (Others got it far worse.) At least I think that was what they were. What I am calling CS just made one want to cough a lot, but the “tear gas” stung, and I didn’t even realize I was near it. And hey, the covid “mask” I was carrying around might have been helpful.

On the way out, I followed Pennsylvania avenue, walked past Trump International Hotel, and found my way to the same Metro station I came in on (Metro Center). I encountered national guard starting to set up. (He ordered me to put my mask on.)

I’ll describe all of this in more detail, below, as I fill in with pictures. This is just an outline. When I change the title of this section to indicate “pictures done” then it’s over, in the meantime keep checking back for updates!

The Situation

Congress, as we know, couldn’t get through the certification process fast enough, apparently, so we now have a President Elect. Under normal conditions, that’d be the end of it; Biteme, absent some personal catastrophe, would become president at noon, January 20th.

One thing that is true, even under our abnormal conditions, is that the term we elected Trump to serve in 2016 positively ends at that moment. His successor’s term starts. Now if Biden becomes disabled, Harris as VP elect becomes President, if Harris too is disabled or doesn’t qualify (and apparently a case can be made she is not qualified to serve, being non-natural born, though that doesn’t stop ’em), it then falls to the Speaker of the House to become “Acting President” until we get a real President. And there is a long succession list after that, the President Pro Tem of the Senate coming in after the Speaker, and then running down through the Cabinet.

This could come into play if Biden, Harris, Pelosi, and whoever becomes President Pro Tem of the Senate once the Georgia Thieves assume their seats, all get arrested and convicted. And as of right now the Cabinet is full of Trump appointees, they will not have been replaced yet on the 20th!! (Though many are resigning, apparently).

[A check of Wikipedia implies that Patrick Leahy will be President Pro Tempore of the Senate now, as that POS was it the last time the Dems had the majority and he’s still (dis)serving.]

Things are very fluid. Whatever plays out will play out against that backdrop but may overshadow it totally. This will be an interesting time!

The Curious Case of Mike Pence

When Pence announced that he didn’t think he had the constitutional authority to simply reject ballots before Congress could certify them, he caught a ton of abuse from the MAGA movement. They accused him of stabbing Trump in the back and of having been a black hat all along.

But I see a couple of possible problems with this conclusion.

If Pence’s goal were to stab Trump in the back, why has he not pushed forward the 25th amendment removal process?

And more importantly, if the VP (in his role as President of the Senate) has it in his power to do this, why didn’t Algore reject the Florida votes in 2000/2001 and put himself into the White House? Given that half of the country believed (wrongly, idiots!) that the election had been stolen from Algore, he could probably have gotten away with it…if he had the power.

So I think a case can be made that Pence genuinely thought he had no choice but to play it the way he did.

But there is NO EXCUSE for the Representatives and Senators who refused to uphold the challenges, especially those who refused to do so because they were mad at Trump for the “riot” and “storming.” They not only had the authority spelled out in black and white in the Twelfth Amendment, they had the positive fucking duty to look into that and reject the obvious fraud.

And Now for the Pictures

Walking from Metro Center to the Rally. I turned a corner and saw the Washington Monument.

George would be disgusted.

Then getting closer, I saw a rally approximately six billion times as large as the biggest one our “President Elect” held. And this was the outlying crowd, not the crowd in the ellipse, which was behind me.

Ultimately I found myself wedged into the crowd. I was able to zoom in on and take pictures of the White House Under Seige.

Second Group of Pictures.

I didn’t get to see President Trump. I could understand very little of what he was saying. But by holding my camera up above peoples’ heads and using the tilt screen, I could aim at “under the banner” and get him.

Cropping away most of the picture, doing what we call a 100% crop (each pixel I uploaded was a pixel on the camera, no “reducing” the pixel density). Handheld in an awkward position with the bulletproof glass, I guess I’ll have to be satisfied with this one

I don’t know who she is or who she works for, but that’s well over $10K of cameras and lenses there, a Canon 5D series and a 1D as well. I don’t know who she works for…

But no problem reading her name even taken with my (comparatively) crappy camera.

A bunch of people left before Trump was done speaking; the march was beginning already. You can see a lot of people walking towards the left.

These next few pictures are all captures off the video I took while walking. OK, as you can see I can’t hold the thing perfectly level for half an hour while NOT paying much attention to it!

I don’t know what this building is but I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer indicates they defiled the 1st Amendment by putting it on there.

Having rounded the corner of Pennsylvania and Constitution avenues, now heading straight at it.

I think this next picture is from a Congressional parking lot. Who else would be allowed to park this close to the Capitol? (On the other hand, I did see some cars that were decorated MAGA, plainly not Congresspukes.)

Congressional Parking Lot?
And here we are…north of center. The north end is where the House meets, and joint sessions are usually held here. So this is where the crime was sealed.

Third Group Of Pictures

As we arrived, we heard a loud report, and people cheered, assuming it was fireworks. Turns out later that was the sound of a gas canister being launched.

There’s already a standoff in progress.

Capitol Police At work.

This guy is about to get a nasty surprise.

Almost a hundred pictures after that one, I was in video mode and caught the guy with the megaphone getting pepper sprayed

Screen Capture from Video
What is THAT he’s holding?

At this time, people came through the plastic sheeting on the scaffolding.

At some point I got hit with a light dose of something or other. I beat a bit of a retreat but someone got to the top of the scaffolding with an American flag.

Fourth And Final Dump of Pictures

The next thing I remember, after getting close in, is a gas cartridge landing about ten feet away from me. I had already gotten light exposure twice to something that made one cough, and once to something that also stung when you inhaled it. Sticking around here would no doubt entail more than light exposure. I backed away.

This photo was timestamped six second later than the previous one.

When the smoke cleared, I noticed people charging up the steps. Lots of people charging up the steps. In fact I can see them in the prior picture too if I blow it up.

Breached!

Someone I was talking to found this object on the ground, I think it was a gas grenade.

Meanwhile over on the scaffolding…I had seen a large crowd carry an extremely large flag up the steps.

At first they unfurled it facing the inaugural platform, but then they brought it over to our side.

Oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave, o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

(We have the only national anthem that ends in a question, and even that is only if you ignore the later verses which are rarely sung.)

Remember when Pepe was a constant fun presence? The flag of Kekistan.

I soon began to notice that people were coming down the stairs.

And indeed the cops were herding people out of the capitol building so that Congress could conclude the business of selling us out.

I moved to in front of the inaugural platform, and got this shot.

A memorial to the man who did more than anyone else to create this country.

And a memorial to the last man who saved it.

When I look back on this and realize that conservatives cheered while the US Capitol was being occupied by protestors…things have changed a lot in our country, and we’ll never go completely back to the way it was. We were carrying flags with the word “fuck” on them, shouting slogans with that same word. Imagine conservatives doing this ten years ago.

We’re fed up, all right.

On the way to the Metro station, I saw this building and thought, “I know what that is…”

Sure enough!

OK, that’s it!

A Reminder Of Today’s Big Issue.

Our movement is about replacing a failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American People...Our campaign represents a true existential threat, like they’ve never seen before.

Then-Candidate Donald J. Trump

Needs to happen, soon. Like in the next eleven days.

Lawyer Appeasement Section

OK now for the fine print.

Please note that our menu has changed, please listen to all of the options.

This is the WQTH Daily Thread. You know the drill. There’s no Political correctness, but civility is a requirement. There are Important Guidelines,  here, with an addendum on 20191110.

We have a new board – called The U Tree – where people can take each other to the woodshed without fear of censorship or moderation.

And remember Wheatie’s Rules:

1. No food fights
2. No running with scissors.
3. If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
4. The first rule of gun safety: Don’t let the government take your guns.
5. The gun is always loaded.
5a. If you actually want the gun to be loaded, like because you’re checking out a bump in the night, then it’s empty.
6. Never point the gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
7. Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
8. Be sure of your target and what is behind it.
9. Social Justice Warriors, ANTIFA pukes, BLM hypocrites, and other assorted varieties of Marxists can go copulate with themselves, or if insufficiently limber, may substitute a rusty wire brush suitable for cleaning the bore of a twelve or ten gauge.

(Hmm a few extras seem to have crept in.)

Coin of The Day

Well, I do have an idea for this. I just don’t have time, so perhaps next week, or the week after, depending on the timing of the brown stuff hitting the ventilation device.

Standard disclaimer: I never show pictures of my coins, and in many cases don’t own anything remotely resembling the coins in these pictures. [This would be one of those cases.] Any prospective thieves should know I also collect other heavy metals–anything with a heavier nucleus would be unstable–and keep those a lot closer to me than the coins.

Public Service Announcement

Remember Hong Kong!!! And remember the tens of millions who died under the “Great Helmsman” Chairman Mao.

I sure hope he’s OK, but he’s in Hong Kong…

中国是个混蛋 !!!
Zhōngguò shì gè hùndàn !!!
China is asshoe !!!

For my money the Great Helmsman is Hikaru Sulu (even if the actor is a dingbat).
