About This Placeholder Post
Gail Combs can’t get into the WordPiss editor – it’s some kind of browser/WordPiss compatibility problem. Doesn’t matter – we shall overcome. I am able to get past the problem, thankfully. Thus, this PLACE HOLDER UNDER ARREST post, which is a tweaked copy of a post I made on 20240403, which included the notorious PLACE HOLDER UNDER ARREST-ORAMA image and Word Of The Week.
So here we go. Start thinking about Trump’s inauguration.
Who here is going? Any plans being made? Time to start thinking about it!
So now we return to this lightly updated “vintage” post. Enjoy!
W
Joe Biden didn’t win, and neither did Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris. This is our Real President:
AND our beautiful REALFLOTUS.
This Stormwatch Monday Open Thread remains open – VERY OPEN – a place for everybody to post whatever they feel they would like to tell the White Hats, and the rest of the MAGA/KAG/KMAG world (with KMAG being a bit of both).
And yes, it’s Monday…Wednesday! WOOHOO!
And we WILL get through it!!!
Swingingly!
Happily!
Laughingly!
Just like Monday!

WHEATIE – OUR WARRIOR ANGEL
by Duchess01
Please forgive us, Wheatie, we did not know
That you had left us with armor in tow
We had no idea with what you dealt
We did not know the pain you felt
And now we can only imagine
With you what really did happen
Cause rarely did you complain
And/or share your personal pain
Of one thing we are most certain
You are flying high behind the curtain
Watching over us above the crowds
Our Warrior Angel above the clouds
Thank You, Wheatie, for caring for us
While you were here among the fuss
We miss you dear you have no idea
Since time began in the pangaea
With you there was no time
In your wisdom you would chime
To clarify and magnify
The what where how and why
We did not question when you left
We were not slightly bereft
But over time we wondered why
You did not at least stop by
Now we know where you have gone
With the break of this new dawn
We could be angry but are not
Tho with an arrow we’ve been shot
Rest peacefully Warrior Angel dear
Send us a sign that you are near
A butterfly a flower a kiss of rain
From your love do not refrain
God sends Angels to watch over us
And now we have an Angel Plus
A Warrior Angel of Magnificence
From today and forward hence

The Rules
TL;DR –
Wheatie’s Rules:
- No food fights.
- No running with scissors.
- If you bring snacks, bring enough for everyone.
Boilerplate, more or less, but worth reading again and again, if only for the minor changes, and to stay out of moderation.
MINOR CHANGE NUMBER 1 – RETRACTED!
No reasons for you not to joke about Team Harpies On Pedestals, now that the nation has voted overwhelmingly for FREE SPEECH. Just remember that I really avoid deleting posts, so if you say something stupid, and you regret it later, you will need to add a clarification comment, as opposed to deleting it.
OK? Them’s the rules.
OTHER THAN THAT…….
The bottom line is Free Speech. Theories and ideas you don’t agree with must be WELCOME here, and you must be part of that welcoming. But you do NOT need to be part of any agreement.
Bottom line – respect other people’s FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
Our only additional requirement is that you do so NICELY. Or at least try to make some effort in that direction.
SO….. [ENGAGE BOILERPLATE…..]
We must endeavor to persevere to love our frenemies – even here.
Those who cannot deal with this easy requirement will be forced to jump the hoops of moderation, so that specific comments impugning other posters and violating the minimal rules can be sorted out and tossed in the trash.
In Wheatie’s words, “We’re on the same side here so let’s not engage in friendly fire.”
That includes the life skill of just ignoring certain other posters.
We do have a site – The U Tree – where civility is not a requirement. Interestingly, people don’t really go there much. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in an “argument” that can’t really stay civil, please feel free to “take it to the U Tree”. The U Tree is also a good place to report any technical difficulties, if you’re unable to report them here. Please post your comment there on one of Wolf’s posts, or in reply to one of Wolf’s comments, to make sure he sees it (though it may take a few hours).
We also have a backup site, called The Q Tree as well, which is really The Q Tree 579486807. You might call it “Second Tree”. The URL for that site is https://theqtree579486807.wordpress.com/. If this site (theqtree.com) ever goes down, please reassemble at the Second Tree.
If the Second Tree goes down, please go to The U Tree, or to our Gab Group, which is located at https://gab.com/groups/4178.
We also have some “old rules” and important guidelines, outlined here, in a very early post, on our first New Year’s Day, in 2019. The main point is not to make violent threats against people, which then have to be taken seriously by law enforcement, and which can be used as a PRETEXT by enemies of this site.
In the words of Wheatie, “Let’s not give the odious Internet Censors a reason to shut down this precious haven that Wolf has created for us.”
A Moment of Prayer
Our policy on extreme religious freedom on this site is discussed HERE. Please feel free to pray and praise God anytime and anywhere.
Thus, please pray for our real President, the one who actually won the 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections.
You may also pray for our nation, our world, and even our enemies.
Musical Interlude
In honor of dear Wheatie, we now present some music to soothe, inspire, invigorate, or relax.
Here are three “placeholder” videos, selected from old Wheatie posts.

WWE leader now head of Dept of Education!
Oh the pain!
Trump names Linda McMahon for education secretary
The choice of the WWE co-founder and former SBA administrator is another out-of-the-box Cabinet selection for the incoming president.
https://www.highereddive.com/news/trump-nominates-linda-mcmahon-education-secretary/733423/?
President-elect Donald Trump has named Linda McMahon, who served as administrator of the Small Business Association for two years in his first administration, as his nominee for U.S. secretary of education.
In an announcement posted to Trump’s social media platform Truth Social at close to 9 p.m. EST Tuesday, Trump said, “Linda will use her decades of Leadership experience, and deep understanding of both Education and Business, to empower the next Generation of American Students and Workers, and make America Number One in Education in the World.”
Trump’s post also referred to his campaign promise to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education. “We will send Education BACK TO THE STATES, and Linda will spearhead that effort,” his post said.
Who is Linda McMahon?
McMahon, a former president and CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, a company that develops and produces scripted wrestling events, currently serves as co-chair of the Trump-Vance transition team.
She has served on the Connecticut State Board of Education and as a trustee at Sacred Heart University, a private Catholic institution in Fairfield, Connecticut. She is currently the treasurer on the university’s Board of Trustees, according to Sacred Heart’s website.
McMahon is also board chair at America First Policy Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization that supports free enterprise and nationalism. Trump praised her advocacy at AFPI for state-level universal school choice policies: “As Secretary of Education, Linda will fight tirelessly to expand ‘Choice’ to every State in America, and empower parents to make the best Education decisions for their families.”
According to EdChoice, a pro-school choice nonprofit organization, at least one form of private school choice is offered in 33 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. EdChoice said earlier this year that enrollment in private school choice programs exceeded 1 million students for the first time.
In 2012, McMahon won the Connecticut Republican primary for U.S. Senate but lost to current Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy.
If confirmed by the U.S. Senate, she would succeed Miguel Cardona as the 13th U.S. education secretary since the department’s founding in 1979.
This is awesome. This woman will be utterly immune to the toxic schemes and nasty psy-ops of the communist teachers unions. The commies are going to be pleading to bring back Betsy DeVos! 😂
The communist teachers unions are the ones who targeted Mark Robinson (& Trump) in NC.
We were inundated with Big shiny postcards saying Robinson would destroy NC Ed in various ways.
They were so successful my neighbor voted Democrat for the first time and when Trump won he called me worried about his daughter’s education. (She is 9)
Hopefully the neighbor realized public education is largely a failure, to educate.
Next step in the progression.
I am slowly educating him.
👍 😂
Prediction: At least 90% of the DOE staffing will be purged since 90% of the residents in that area of DC are leftist Dems. Complete oversight of education to the states. Bloc grant funding to states with some type of conditions on school choice being offered to receive full funding.
Problem solved. Moving on to the others.
Wait until she breaks a chair over the head of a union rep!
This is SO brilliant!
We must be having WordPiss fun. 😥
We’ve been through much worse! But I do suspect we’re in for more. The Demmunists are not about to give up.

2 things… outages in your area or setting changes by something new or something going out of date, which might include things like buffer caches.
All notoriously hard to figure out.
There’s multiple pages that will let you see outages and which programs are being affected. Not sure which might be the best one for your area. Some like the link below which is showing problems from earlier this morning in your area are helpful, but still are ultimately designed to get you to buy something to help.

It’s nice to hear multiple leaders boldly state this. Johnson also said that everyone should be treated with respect. I don’t know what the solution is for the “trans” member of Congress, but it isn’t to have him in women’s facilities. For him to go in men’s facilities dressed as a woman would probably be humiliating for him, but he chose this path.
“Let me be unequivocally clear. A man is a man and a woman is a woman. And a man cannot become a woman.”
____________
And a woman cannot become a man, either.
I noticed Mike left that part out. It takes a lot more guts for a politician to say that part out loud in radical feminist-land 😁
Mace and MTG absolute handled Johnson (no pun intended), during their private leadership meeting.
Then went hugely public. Johnson, had to do the right thing.
handled the Johnson…bwahahahahahahaha
LMAO!!!
Not so sure I want to grasp this situation.
“Hold on tight!”
“Mace and MTG absolute handled Johnson (no pun intended), during their private leadership meeting.”
___________
That’s because, at least at the leadership meeting, Mace and MTG are (effectively) the men, and Johnson is (effectively) the woman in that meeting.
That’s how incredibly *&^%ed up things are.
Look at Johnson. Does he look (or act) like Clint Eastwood, or does he look like the elf from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer who wants to be a dentist?

Congress has lots of money. I don’t see why they don’t contract for a port potty and set it up in the hallway for him. Heck it’s the easiest way to accommodate this dude with out a lot of fuss. these people must be fascinating to watch.
I once was brought in to a semi-new program that was failing. Losing money hand-over-fist. Insurance companies wouldn’t pay the bill because the program, a fairly new medical discipline) was not working. The head of the organization was related to me by marriage, I was fresh out of college, and they were desperate. They took a chance and hired me.
I sat in an office for a month, reading, studying, making phone calls, and planning. At the end of that month, I walked into the bosses office with a revamped program. He ran with it, and let me have at it.
Within six months, ours was the only program of its type in the state being paid at 100% by insurance.
One time during my tenure there, a higher up in the larger organization got wind that my boss was out of town, and I was left basically alone in our section. He came in throwing his weight around, thinking he would tell me “how it was” while the boss was away. I ran him off in no uncertain terms. I pretty much humiliated the pompous ass.
When the boss got back, he called me into his office and explained that he had gotten a complaint from the guy, who told my boss I needed “humility.” The boss and I laughed and laughed. He essentially told the guy to get bent.
I understand what is coming to DC. I understand Elon and Vivek. It’s why I get their joie de vivre in the doing, why I understand their humor, and why I think it’s funny that people like Naomi Wolfe have their panties in a bunch about it. Being “different” and “nerdy” myself, I get how cool it is to find yourself with a like-minded group, finally. Being appreciated for what you can DO, not how well you can relate to dumb shit that doesn’t matter to you, like sports, or cars, or makeup, or whatever other people are interested in.
We are in for a treat, watching these geniuses take apart the establishment. I only wish I could be one of “the gang.”
This is going to be so much FUN to watch.
And yeah, I too have seen Nerds at work. I agree that they will not know what hit them!
Now’s your chance to finally fulfill that lifelong wish of becoming a cheerleader 😉
I wish Elon & Vivek would wear body cameras all day every day as they yield the mighty swords of DOGE

NFL says it has ‘no issue’ with ‘Trump dance’ celebrations
I think the league sees the handwriting on the wall.
How is “Make America Great Again” a ‘political opinion’?
It’s our country, you dumbasses.
If you DON’T want America to be great again, how is THAT not a ‘political opinion’?
Shouldn’t the NFL fine itself, for expressing their own political opinion against making America great again?
I have always wondered that. Apparently no Dem wants the country to be great again.
“Apparently no Dem wants the country to be great again.”
Nor do Dems want America First.
To think the dumbasses can’t figure out why they lost. SMH.
Trump dance is a happy dance. What the hell could be wrong with that. Dumbasses.
“Players are also not allowed to wear printed hats or clothing that promote political opinions,”
I think that’s some degree of bullcrap. Many players have had slogans on the back bottom of their helmets that seem to align with leftist themes like “stop hate” in the BLM era. All the slogans I ever noticed were more associated w/ lefty views politically, fwiw.

Trump says media is ‘vital’ to making America ‘great again,’ vows to work with ‘free, fair and open’ press
This is a brilliant departure from cries of “fake news.” If they want access, they have to play nice. And they will want access, both to keep up with other news outlets and to save their own ratings, which are tanking.
VSG.
SCOTUS should revisit and reverse their 1964 NYT vs Sullivan decision – which has allowed the press to lie with impunity!
It needs a case to reach the Court, in order to grant your wish.
I think one is on the way.
Good catch. Defamation lawsuits among others are filtering through.
Trump just sued CBS or a bunch of Pravda News for $30B. Or some crazy number. Would be great if Trump succeeds.
This is a brilliant departure from cries of “fake news.” If they want access, they have to play nice. And they will want access, both to keep up with other news outlets and to save their own ratings, which are tanking.
I only wish I had the brass balls needed to even conceive of such a strategy, let alone to actually put it in place.
The only other thing that I’d like to hear more often from DJT is: we’re on God’s side, which is why we’re winning.
I think he broke the media and now he’s extending an olive branch on his own terms. Again, brilliant.
I would rather see alternative news media be elevated, and see legacy news media destroyed.
Fewer and fewer people are watching them, this is the perfect time to ignore them while America moves forward. Give WH press credentials to alternative media, and none to the various election interference, propaganda, slander and libel organizations who passed themselves off as ‘news’.
They deserve to be destroyed, and because they are truly America-hating Leftist partisans, they will not change.
Let Chanel Rion vet who gets WH press credentials.
Apropos of nothing much, I’m going to see the BEAT tour of King Crimson ’80’s tunes on Wednesday night. If you think this may be a repeat, you are not mistaken — I saw them on the first night of this tour back on September 12. At this point, the tour is winding down (the individuals involved have other commitments).
I followed the first few concerts, and it seemed like it took them a while to settle in, so it should be subtly different tonight. I’m looking forward to it.
hope you have a grand time 🙂

There’s a photo at the link, and also one here:

From the sounds of it, someone did a LOT of research on what powder to use.
Those assholes over in Europe that deface paintings probably helped.
That explains it quite well. ThanQ. The constitution case needs to be redesigned For example, there are Lexan fishtanks without a frame that use silicone sealer to make the joints waterproof.
There should be an enclosure completely made of Lexan. No more decorative nooks and crannies.
IIRC it’s a fancy wood case with a glass panel in it; and it’s airtight and filled with either nitrogen or argon. The document is already quite faded, nearly impossible to read.
Helium. It has to be a noble gas to prevent decomposition.
Correct logic…but it turns out to be a bit more complicated.
Nitrogen is almost inert and is often used for such things. But in this case, almost isn’t good enough.
That left them with two viable options.
Argon IS inert, as inert as helium, and is plentiful in our atmosphere. It would be just as good as helium (and I think we used to put it in incandescent light bulbs, instead of using a vacuum, so we could have less pressure on the glass). Disadvantages: it does have to be extracted from the air.
On the other hand, we’re like the Saudi Arabia of helium, it just bubbles out of some of our oil and natural gas wells, so it makes sense we would use it back then…likely cheaper and just as good.
Personally I’d go with argon if I had to make the choice today, but then I’m acutely aware that helium is just about the perfect example of a non-renewable resource.
So here’s what I found when I went to look: It was a humidified helium atmosphere until 2002. So I was completely wrong about nitrogen (zero points for me), but you only used to be right about the helium (half credit). Then they were moved to a humidified argon atmosphere. Why? The original sealing had included backing paper that had soaked up lots of moisture from the air when it was sealed (wow a humid day in DC, fancy that! /s); thus the humidity inside was higher than desired. It was actually leaching alkalis from the glass! So when they corrected this, they decided to go with argon instead of helium.
So the enclosures I saw as a tourist when I was a kid, aren’t there any more; they’ve been replaced.
Ahh. I specifically remember helium being the gas when we took all the tours back about 40-45 years ago. I knew it had to be a noble gas. Even in the archives where I worked years ago, all of that was regulated.
Yeah I don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote nitrogen. Cranial flatulence. It’s what you’d use if you had no other option.
One could use neon, krypton or xenon, but there’s be no point, they’re more expensive than either He or Ar for no benefit; and krypton and xenon can be cudgeled into reacting under some circumstances–not these circumstances, but why spend more money just to take the chance?
Argon makes more sense, actually.
Argon is great stuff! Can’t have enough!
I was watching the weekly DCA youtoob show that includes a couple of crypto analysts I watch regularly, and they mentioned two things that might be of interest here, some info on the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve proposed by Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), and the second is about how AI is going to help revolutionize peer review and eliminate all the bogus scientism in medicine, science and research.
The first is the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve. Cued up to the segment, it’s only a minute or two:
.
Transcript: “I’ve spent a long time digging into all, all of the 10 sections of this act, and it’s quite extraordinary. I don’t know if you guys are aware, like section 9 says the Federal Reserve System gold certificates have to be turned in 180 days after enactment of the ACT.
Federal Reserve Banks will tender all outstanding gold certificates in the custody of the Secretary this is the Treasury Secretary right, this is taking all of this away from the Federal Reserve’s power.
No later than 90 days after the certificate they will convert the gold into Bitcoin. This is in the ACT, Section 9. Yep, they’re going to pay for the fund from the Federal Reserve Act Surplus which is $6.8 trillion and lower it to $2.4 trillion, that’s $4 trillion coming out of that fund to pay for the Bitcoin.
Guys this is a ridiculously insane Act, you got to read it. Anyway, um, I’ll put, I’ll put the post up in, I’ll put the post up, like this is the thing, I don’t, I just, I’m, I’m, Senator Lummis came out last week and said you know, 100 days we’ll pass this, but you read it and you’re like, this is, this will be a very very big thing for the U.S. to pass.
It’s like literally we’re going to sell our gold holdings to buy Bitcoin, and Bitcoin is going to be Reserve, like the reserve asset of the US government now. It reads, Mando, it reads almost like the first step of just banning the Federal Reserve. It’s removing the Federal Reserve’s resources and their power.
It’s an interesting play. I think, I think there’s more to this, it’s not just about a reserve for the U.S., it’s about diminishing the power of the Federal Reserve, which you all agree is probably a good idea.” — end

Here is the bill, it’s surprisingly short, with some pretty big implications. This is the whole thing:

S. 4912
To establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and other programs to ensure the transparent management of Bitcoin holdings of the Federal Government, to offset costs utilizing certain resources of the Federal Reserve System, and for other purposes.
IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES
July 31, 2024
Ms. Lummis introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs
A BILL
To establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and other programs to ensure the transparent management of Bitcoin holdings of the Federal Government, to offset costs utilizing certain resources of the Federal Reserve System, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the “Boosting Innovation, Technology, and Competitiveness through Optimized Investment Nationwide Act of 2024” or the “BITCOIN Act of 2024”.
SEC. 2. Findings.
Congress finds the following:
(1) The global financial landscape is rapidly evolving, with digital assets playing an increasingly significant role in the world economy.
(2) Bitcoin has demonstrated resilience, widespread adoption, and served as a medium of exchange and a store of value for more than a decade.
(3) Just as gold reserves have historically served as a cornerstone of national financial security, Bitcoin represents a digital-age asset capable of enhancing the financial leadership and security of the United States in the 21st century global economy.
(4) The acquisition and long-term storage of substantial quantities of Bitcoin by the United States can strengthen the financial condition of the United States, providing a hedge against economic uncertainty and monetary instability.
(5) Bitcoin, as a decentralized and finitely scarce digital asset, offers unique properties that complement existing national reserves, strengthening the position of the United States dollar in the global financial system.
(6) Diversification of the national assets of the United States to include Bitcoin can enhance financial resilience and position the United States at the forefront of global financial innovation.
SEC. 3. Definitions.

(a) Establishment.—
(1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary shall establish a Bitcoin Purchase Program which shall—
(A) purchase not more than 200,000 Bitcoins per year over a 5-year period, for a total acquisition of 1,000,000 Bitcoins;
(B) conduct purchases in a transparent and strategic manner to minimize market disruption; and
(C) hold Bitcoin acquired under this section in trust for the United States, as provided in this section.
(2) FLEXIBILITY RELATING TO PURCHASES.—The Secretary shall, by rule, establish a procedure to adjust the purchase schedule set forth under paragraph (1), if necessary, based on prevailing market conditions.
(3) TRANSFER OFFSET.—Any Bitcoin transferred to the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve under section 7 may offset the purchase requirements under paragraph (1).
(b) Deposit.—All Bitcoins purchased under the Bitcoin Purchase Program shall be placed in the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
(c) Minimum Holding Period.—
(1) IN GENERAL.—To ensure the long-term stability and security of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, the Secretary shall hold all Bitcoin acquired through the Bitcoin Purchase Program for not less than 20 years.

SEC. 6. Proof of Reserve System.
To ensure transparency and accountability in the management of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, the Secretary shall establish a quarterly Proof of Reserve system of public cryptographic attestation under which—
(1) the Secretary shall—
(A) publish quarterly reports on the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve that include detailed information on the total holdings, transactions, and demonstrated control of private keys relating to the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, including a public cryptographic attestation;
(B) make the quarterly reports available to the public on an official website of the Department of Treasury; and
(C) select an independent, third-party auditor with expertise in cryptographic attestations to verify the accuracy and integrity of the quarterly reports; and
(2) the Comptroller General of the United States shall, to ensure compliance with this Act, conduct regular oversight of—
(A) the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve;
(B) the quarterly reports under paragraph (1)(A); and
(C) the audits under paragraph (1)(C).
SEC. 7. Consolidation of Government Bitcoin Holdings.
Beginning on the date of enactment of this Act, any Bitcoin under the control of any Federal agency, including the United States Marshal Service, shall—
(1) not be sold, swapped, auctioned, or otherwise encumbered; and
(2) upon the acquisition of legal title to such Bitcoin (including after a final, unappealable judgment is entered in a criminal or civil forfeiture action in favor of the Federal agency), be transferred by the head of such Federal agency to the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
SEC. 8. Voluntary State Participation and Segregated Accounts.
(a) Voluntary State participation.—The Secretary shall establish a program that allows a State to voluntarily participate in storing the Bitcoin holdings of the State in the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve in a segregated account.
(b) Participation requirements.—A State choosing to participate in the program established under subsection (a) shall sign a contractual agreement outlining the terms and conditions of participation, which shall include—
(1) the responsibilities of both the State and the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve in managing and securing the Bitcoin holdings of the State in the segregated account of the State;
(2) a requirement that the State, in coordination with the Secretary, develop and implement appropriate security protocols and access controls to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the segregated account of the State; and

(c) Withdraw or transfer.—Each State participating in the program established under subsection (a) shall have the right to withdraw or transfer the contents of the segregated account of the State within the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, subject to the terms and conditions in the signed contractual agreement under subsection (b) and any applicable Federal regulations.
SEC. 9. Offsetting the cost of the strategic Bitcoin reserve.
(a) Discretionary surplus funds of federal reserve banks.—Section 7(a)(3)(A) of the Federal Reserve Act (12 U.S.C. 289(a)(3)(A)) is amended by striking “$6,825,000,000” and inserting “$2,400,000,000”.
(b) Use of remittances to treasury.—
(1) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding the second subsection (b) of section 7 of the Federal Reserve Act (12 U.S.C. 290), for fiscal years 2025 through 2029, if the Federal reserve banks remit net earnings to the general fund of the Treasury during that period, the first $6,000,000,000 of these remittances (before repayment of any deferred asset) in a fiscal year shall be utilized by the Secretary for the implementation of the Bitcoin Purchase Program, pursuant to the purposes set forth under section 5.
(2) EXCEPTION.—Paragraph (1) shall not apply if the Federal Reserve banks do not remit net earnings in any given fiscal year during the period of fiscal years 2025 through 2029.
(c) Federal reserve system gold certificates.—Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Federal reserve banks shall tender all outstanding gold certificates in their custody to the Secretary.

Upon issue by the Secretary, each Federal reserve bank that receives a new gold certificate shall remit the difference in cash value between the old and new gold certificates to the Secretary for deposit in the general fund within 90 days.
(d) Conforming amendment.—Section 5117(b) of title 31, United States Code, is amended by striking “(for the purpose of issuing those certificates, of 42 and two-ninths dollars a fine troy ounce)”.
SEC. 10. Protection of Private Property Rights.

(1) authorize the Federal Government to seize, confiscate, or otherwise impair any property right in the lawfully acquired Bitcoin holdings of any person; or
(2) infringe upon the rights of individuals, businesses, or organizations to purchase, hold, transfer, or dispose of Bitcoin in accordance with the law.
(b) Affirmation of rights.—This Act affirms and protects the rights of persons to maintain full lawful control over the Bitcoin and other digital assets of those individuals, recognizing that the ability to maintain self-custody of private keys is fundamental to the principles of financial sovereignty, privacy, and personal liberty in the digital age.
The problem is that the government eventually treats any economic asset it controls as a slush fund. That would be true of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, Social Security Funds, public lands, or — if ever created — the Bitcoin Reserve.
Instead, I would favor a freeze on new debt issuance, and a liquidation of all public assets for the purpose of paying off the National Debt. This would include all Federal office buildings wherever situated, with hopes that the actual necessary employees therein be relocated to less expensive leased properties.
Seems like a good place to put this —
I’ve seen several versions of this map, but (without quibbling) the basic gist is that there are way too many Federal lands, particularly in states west of the Mississippi. Sell them off, all of them, and pay down the National Debt.
And, yes, even to the Chinese — because whoever buys the land will be paying property taxes to the state the land is in (the Feds don’t).
And, mind you, I’m not crazy — I don’t expect the Feds to sell off the Nevada Test Site.
“Sell them off, all of them, and pay down the National Debt.”
_____________
The debt isn’t ours. Let the people who stole all the money pay it back.
$36 trillion dollars would rebuild the infrastructure of the entire world several times over. But that money didn’t buy us ANYTHING.
It went in criminals’ pockets — and I, for one, am not paying it.
NOT.
Fine. Repudiate the National Debt, sell Federal assets off, and pay a special dividend to citizens with the proceeds.
There’s a fine idea.
Grouch.
Vast majority of Federal land should be sold off to Americans.
Skip the National Park yada yada… Protect them. Its the huge swaths of land, the Feds have no business “owning.”
Along these lines. Shit can BLM and the like.
STOP protecting the national parks.
The park service is 100% MISMANAGING THEM.
We need more private investment in our parks and LESS GOV!!!!
Good with that also.
no, no no! I cannot go along with selling the land to chinese or any other foreigners. America belongs to Americans.
Yes. America First AND ONLY Americans, can buy the land.
Must hold XX time AND improve the land. Limits on acreage…
Something that keeps foreigners out AND the likes of Blackrock, Gates…
ThanQ!!!!!
“Instead, I would favor a freeze on new debt issuance,”
____________
I’m not sure that’s possible under the current debt-based fiat system. If I understand correctly (and I may not, I don’t know anything about bonds), there are Treasury bonds coming due regularly, and they have to be paid or rolled over (refinanced) into new debt.
Not to mention all the debt that is created every time a bank makes a mortgage loan (for example). Repeated thousands (or tens of thousands) of times every day, across the country.
.
“…and a liquidation of all public assets for the purpose of paying off the National Debt.”
_____________
Lets wait until DOGE gets a look at the books. I think they’re going to find out that roughly $35.5 trillion of the $36 trillion debt has been stolen through various laundering and kickback schemes.
We the People shouldn’t have to sell our public assets to pay off the criminal debt racked up by the criminal political-class.
We the People haven’t benefited from ANY of it. We don’t even have roads without potholes, our bridges are falling down, our infrastructure is a joke compared to other first world nations.
Find out who stole all the money, where it went, claw it all back, and put everyone involved in prison.
Anyone who can pay back everything they stole, plus interest, gets a couple years shaved off their sentence.
It’s not hard to do. It’s all traceable, and everything had to be signed for or signed off on. All it takes is the will to do it.
Just to put this into perspective, ALL of the National Debt has been stolen through various laundering and kickback schemes. Every single dime. And more is being stolen every day.
I wouldn’t mind seeing it completely repudiated, either. The sale of Federal assets is just being nice.
A freeze on new Federal debt issuance. And, yes, debt could be rolled until retired.
But ‘rolled’ is a cute way of saying retired and refinanced. There has to be new debt issued because the principal of the existing notes/bonds must be paid on the due date. At that point, they are ended.
If the govt can’t pay the principal, then the govt must issue a new bond with a future maturity date.
I think you meant no additional debt. That’s what the periodic debt ceiling ‘discussion’ is all about – no additional debt.
I’m not positive, but I believe that any and every bitcoin transaction is in the public domain by design. So any pilfering of the bitcoin reserve would be instantly viewable by anybody at any time.
As usual, I don’t read long Bitcoin anything. Did a couple early on where Scott splain it in detail. I assume it may turn out to be a good thing.
But, Bitcoin is Not for me. Nor do I like the Federal Reserve. Do as people wish. .
Read the article until I got to the part,
Federal Reserve System gold certificates have to be turned in 180 days after enactment of the ACT.
What the hell? Confiscate something Americans own? Go fuck themselves.
Promote Bitcoin all they want. Steal American’s stuff, Hell No.
I think that this is taking assets from the Federal Reserve, NOT the people. The Federal Reserve has been stealing the people’s money since its inception, which is partly why Gail calls us “free range slaves”, iirc.
“..partly why Gail calls us “free range slaves”, iirc.”
YUP!
TY for the confirmation 🙂

Best I can tell, Gaetz is a perfect fit at DOJ. No reason to compromise.
FIB announcement may wait until Gaetz is, AG. Then we’ll get a perfect fit at FIB. Seems to be Patel.
The Entire Country has been ABUSED by DOJ AND FIB. It Must Be Fixed.
Now the part on science and peer review using crypto and AI, cued to the relevant section, which is just a few minutes long and transcribed below:
.
.
Mando: “…emerging trends in, um, for mind-sharing crypto at the moment, which is AI memes and uh, maybe decentralized science, that’s been a big one this week, it actually overtook De-Fi for, my,
CTO Larsson: “What is it? I actually don’t know much about it.”
Mando: “I barely knew what it meant until like a week ago. It was like a big thing a year ago in that Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase, the major U.S. crypto trading platform and holder for most of the Bitcoin in the Bitcoin ETFs on the stock exchanges) invested in a company called Research Coin which aimed to um, improve the quality of research being done in the US um, or around the world.
So at the moment peer review of science papers is not paid for like um, and to actually publish, you actually have to pay the, like uh the publication, like Science or uh Nature, or one of these big ones, all the peer review is done for free or largely for free, um which is why the quality of research often is quoted as going a lot lower in the US and, and interestingly with the advent of AI you know what happened with, um you know the Harvard um, whoever the person was, the person who like Gay, who ran the Harvard, who got called out after her response to um, October 7th, like they peer-reviewed her stuff with AI and they were like, they found all this horrific levels of um plagiarism, they’re seeing that like across research.
So the idea is to create a system to reward um the peer review, and publication of papers, so like reward for publication and also for review, so create an economy around that, but there’s been a bunch of different things around this. It’s kind of like a mix between D-Pin and science, so there’s some, around sharing Quantum computing power, so to get like the most powerful quantum computer, which is kind of like D-Pin we’ve seen, there’s been some um, around medical um, so again like um, uh using these incentives for like um, medical research, and there’s some which are like a mixture of that, in memes.
But generally as a category it blew up a year ago, then it died, and then in the last week, Binance said it was looking to invest in the space, and on Solana (note: Solana is a leading blockchain whose big selling point is millions of TPS or transactions per second, which is necessary to run big business enterprises, or things like stock exchanges) something got launched called Pump dot Science (Pump.Science), which is aiming to launch like a ton of new coins in this space, and two of them went to $200 million in the space of a week, and the whole space has just done a 10x basically.
Research is probably the most well-known established one, because Brian Armstrong invested in it, but it’s just, again (it) happened on Solana.
James / InvestAnswers: Yeah it’s funny, because I met at the Solana Singapore event, I met with a guy called Ryan B who’s in my community, and he is kind of like a big D-Sci guy, a big science research clinical trial, cancer research, etc person, and uh, there are two big categories that he thinks are very hot uh, because A-16z (note: I have no idea what A-16z is) is in the mix as well, they have a decentralized AI hedge fund with Solana, focusing on longevity um, these longevity coins, and they represent, as you say, legitimate De-Sci projects uh, and there’s a whole bunch coming in, and everything is launching on Solana and even on Pump.Fun.
And I think, as far as I understand, there’s 20 new coins coming in December that are just D-Sci projects,
Marty Party: “Yeah it’s another part of D-Sci guys, that people have to understand, is that D-Sci, it’s scientific data results, publications and all of that, is completely gate-kept by centralized or companies right now, um D-Sci, just like everything else, will use blockchain to make, you know, transparent peer review, transparent research, so We the Public will have access to the data, and it’s uncorruptible, instead of company’s having the data and making money out of it.
And then there’s this new thing I’ve heard called IP NFT, intellectual property NFTs, so your research artifacts will be on-chain, like patents. So you know, just absolutely the same principles to money and ownership, that blockchain brings, is happening to science and research. I think it’s wonderful, more transparent perfect data.
James / InvestAnswers: “You heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen.”

Yup. Anybody who has regularly taken either knows they have less side effects than a Tylenol. The only reason not to is $ for big Pharm and docs.

I have to add to his treatise…
It wasn’t just illegals, pandering, subsidizing them – treating them better than taxpaying American citizens, allowing them to steal, kill, rape with impunity…
It wasn’t just pushing perversion and allowing the perverts to prey upon children in our schools – pushing ‘gender and sexual orientation theories to distort, confuse and steal our children’s identities, then establishing gender clinics to mutilate them for life – calling parents TERRORISTS who object to grooming and predation by LBGT in our schools!
It wasn’t just DEI, discrimination against whites, normal people and men…
It wasn’t just the planned-emic, lying to the public about the danger, deriding real cures, mandating harmful drugs and vaccines, putting sick people in nursing homes, and killing people with dangerous hospital protocols. It was also censoring the truth, firing doctors and nurses who told the truth…
It wasn’t just the obvious 2020 election fraud, censoring any mention of the fraud, creating a False Flag operation on January 6, using trained federal agitators, killing an innocent woman, beating other women, calling it an insurrection, jailing protestors without cause, defrauding voters and our election system!
It wasn’t just the censorship of Donald Trump and the MAGA conservatives – calling them DOMESTIC TERRORISTS!
NOPE it wasn’t just the invasion, subsidy and crimes of illegals – it was ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Trump’s inauguration.
No plans yet. Would like to be there. Assuming Deep State is behaving, I’ll show.
Prolly won’t decide, GO, until a few days or a week before 20 January.
May look into hotel reservation for 19th soon. Two day drive, so logistics are easy peasy.
I do not like crowds. I will not attend, but i will send prayers and good energy and thoughts to all who do.
Very much appreciated!
I do not like crowds either. Also Hubby is no using a cane and my knees and back can not tolerate standing in one place, esp on a hard surface.
Inauguration 2016 was a rough day for anybody who didn’t have a seat reserved for them – and it was even rougher for those who were displaced by Obama’s plot to keep them out of the assembly area. I got a lot of exercise!
I’m in favor of holding the inauguration at the Combs Family Traveling Pony Show.
…
Similar situation here!
I have good memories from the 2016 Inauguration – many good memories – but also how Obama and Biden sabotaged it in various ways! The RATS. I expect no less this time.
It’s not a patch on how they sabotaged the 2020 inauguration, by arranging for the wrong guy to get inaugurated.
Oh, wait, I’m an election denier for saying that.
One of tens of millions. Proudly so.
Put me down for “stop holding inaugurations in Washington, D.C.”

Anti-personnel land mines. Not a game changer. Nothing good comes of them. Certainly not for Ukraine.
