I just don’t get the “bird hands” thing at all. I’ve tried to do it, just to see what it felt like, but my hands just feel strange. When I’m really, really mad, I might “point” a finger at you. If I have completely lost my temper, which has only happened a rare handful of times in my life, usually when I was threatened in some way, I might take a swing at you with an open hand or a closed fist.

Things are going well! I’m tending to be on here in the morning, if I have time, b/c early to bed, early to rise, has to happen, with all this physical work. I’m too tired past midnight, to be part of the night crew now.
The combination of more exercise and work plus adequate attention to family, while lessening problematic interactions with potential trouble IRL, has restored my health to an excellent balance where I physically CAN do the work, my wife’s health is following suit, and the list of household problems are dwindling.
The weather has really been cooperating, and I grab every opportunity to fix all the things that were neglected for the last 10-15 years due to time on politics. I’m also deleting every political text message, instead of sending money that should be used for repairs, to political candidates.
I still have a few big-ticket items to do, and during those times, I’ll be gone for a while, but I hope to be done by the time the big heat arrives in mid-summer.
And once that heat arrives, it will be like winter – I’ll be on here frequently!!! 💖 🇺🇸

We did the Disney cruise when Daughter was about 12 or so. It stops at their small island (CC). Nice setup for kids/families. Lots of activities for kids in particular. Parents generally let their children roam because it is small and where are they going to go to be lost? Except they do, our daughter did. We found her quickly at a face painting area. But there are public restrooms, activity huts, cafes, etc. all over it. Would not take long for a worker to talk a kid into “trying” something.
I have a friend who loves to “cruise.” She has taken her daughter on cruises for years, while I cringed.

According to technical analysis based on IAEA reports, Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant has accumulated large quantities of spent fuel containing plutonium, creating a potential parallel pathway to nuclear weapons.
The key point: Iran does not need to openly enrich uranium to weapons-grade levels if it can exploit spent nuclear fuel.
The report says there is no conclusive public proof that Iran has extracted plutonium from Bushehr on an industrial scale.

(8-13) Warnings to shun vain babblings and dangerous errors. (14-21) Charges to flee youthful lusts, and to minister with zeal against error, but with meekness of spirit. (22-26)
14-21 Those disposed to strive, commonly strive about matters of small moment. But strifes of words destroy the things of God. The apostle mentions some who erred. They did not deny the resurrection, but they corrupted that true doctrine. Yet nothing can be so foolish or erroneous, but it will overturn the temporary faith of some professors. The current ages of the 7 Justices on the Virginia Supreme Court are:

The idea that the legislature would lower the retirement age to 53 in order to remove them all is just beyond wild.
Then they would install 7 new Justices who would have to commit in advance to reversing the prior Court’s decision — that tells you everything you would ever need to know about anyone who would pledge to do that.
Three Justices voted in the minority, but you can’t exempt them from the retirement because they might object to a corrupt process to remove their colleagues for no reason other than naked partisan politics.
This would DESTROY the functional independence of the Virginia Supreme Court, and be a permanent stain on the votes of every Virginia Assembly Democrat who went along with it.
It would bring condemnation from Courts and Legislatures all across the country.
Virginians need to take a hard look at the people it is electing, and ask whether they have the foundational commitment to the Great American Experiment that has held this country together — even through a Civil War.
In Virginia, of all places.
Virginia needs to change its state slogan to “Virginia is for Morons!”

I’m halfway through this James O’Keefe video about illegal vote-getting for elections, and it’s appalling, with clear violations of Texas law. I don’t know if they work elsewhere as well.
What strikes me about this one is that the person doing the talking is not a guy whose ego is being fed because an attractive young woman is paying attention to him. This is an overweight woman, and I don’t think she is trying to impress anyone romantically; therefore, I think what she is saying is probably all true, and this case needs to be prosecuted NOW.
