Prayer and Fasting With Mustard Seed Faith

Please join me in prayer and fasting for our nation today. Our heavenly Father hears our cries.

There is a scene in Matthew (Chapter 17) where the disciples are unable to cast out a demon from a tormented boy. The father approaches Jesus and begs for help, telling Christ that his disciples had been tasked for the job but had failed.

Jesus reacts: “’O unbelieving and perverse generation!’” Jesus replied. “’How long must I remain with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.’ Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.”

How ashamed the disciples must’ve been, because they came to him privately and asked him why they had not been able to heal the boy. Realize that some of them had just experienced the Transfiguration with Jesus.

He is blunt with them.

“Because you have so little faith,” He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Now just ponder that. A mustard seed is quite small, a dot. How mighty must a God-fearing faith be that such a small amount can cast a mountain into the sea.

As a Catholic, I do not attempt to cast out demons by myself. But I will share a story that explains how the power of Christ is so preeminent that we can call upon Him and He will work in our lives to effect miracles.

Some years ago, our family was nearly riven in half by a situation that had been brewing for years. There were periodic attempts to tamp down the issues dividing family members, but it was never really handled.

As you can imagine, there was a darkness and oppression to family life. It grew worse until a physical separation occurred. It seemed hopeless. At that point, I became humble enough to begin listening to God.

I began praying and fasting. I had a schedule of prayer so packed that my life became a life of prayer. Almost every hour I turned to God. Sometimes it seemed like I was peeling an onion, a stinky rotten onion. Why couldn’t I just slice through it and find a solution to this heartbreaking problem of family division?

But as I studied Scripture, attended Church, and prayed, things eventually began to come into focus. I found that things I had thought were a problem, weren’t really a problem. There was something much deeper going on.

One day in my Scripture searches I came across the name of Leviathan. It’s biblical. It’s mentioned numerous times, always in conjunction as a beast of enormous power that no man can contend with, but which is easily vanquished by the LORD.

I mulled over the idea of Leviathan and then put it aside. It didn’t seem to have much to do with my situation. However, a day later I came across another reference to Leviathan from a totally different source. That got my attention.

LEVIATHAN ATTACKS NATIONS

I began to dig in and take a look at the concept as it applied to our family situation. It seems that in Christian circles, Leviathan is often considered demonic, even a demon. It is considered to be a quiet, under-the-surface source of division within families, churches, and nations.

It works silently, growing and becoming stronger as it works its evil.

It is also known that once you have the name of a demon, it can be cast out.

Could the activity of Leviathan have been a factor in the division within my family? At that point I had to admit that our individual actions had contributed greatly to our problem. But our family had been praying to a greater or lesser degree to heal the rift.

We had been humbled. We had always considered our family as indestructible. Now, all our friends and extended family and acquaintances knew of our failures. I had been asking everybody I knew who was prayerful, for help.

I clung to a mustard seed-sized faith. I clung to Christ’s promise.

And help came. Friends and family came through in ways that eased the pain.

One morning, I took a drive and landed in a bucolic spot to pray. As I prayed, the word Leviathan came strongly to me. It was almost insistent. I knew that I had no power to effect an exorcism. Alone in that car, the only One who had authority was Christ Jesus.

I prayed a very simple, humble prayer. I asked the Lord Jesus Christ to cast out the spirit of division, Leviathan, from my family. Instantaneously, I felt a sense of release, as if a great weight had been lifted from me. I thanked God for the sudden deep peace that enveloped me.

As I drove back to town to stop at the store, I ran into the very family member who I had been estranged from. We talked. Within three days a full reconciliation of our family occurred.

Naturally, almost without effort. It has been permanent.

Is this type of healing possible with our nation? Of course it is. Leviathan, perhaps, has been at work through human tools like the CCP and communists embedded in our country. We’ve allowed CRT and other pernicious ideologies free rein within our institutions.

But God is merciful and quick to forgive, both us as individuals and us together as a nation.

Let today be a day of prayer and fasting, if you feel so inclined. Please include any Scriptures, prayers, stories and comments that you think will help heal and restore our families, our cities and states, and our beloved republic.

A mustard seed faith is invincible. From Pope Benedict XVI comes this quote about the mustard seed:

“The time has come to say farewell to the idea of traditionally Catholic cultures. We are facing a new and different kind of epoch in the Church’s history, where Christianity will again be characterised more by the mustard seed, where the Church will exist in small, insignificant groups that nonetheless live an intensive struggle against evil and bring the good into the world–that let God in.”

We may be small and insignificant in the scheme of things, but at the Qtree and Marica’s Place we “live an intensive struggle against evil,” and that means we are also bringing “good into the world.”

So to another iconic cocktail, the Tequila Sunrise. Memorialized by the Eagles, the 1970s version of the cocktail is widely held in derision today as too sweet and somewhat tacky. Piffle.

According to the Saucey blog, the Tequila Sunrise is the perfect morning cocktail:

“We don’t often think of tequila as a popular morning drink, either. But that’s why the Tequila Sunrise was invented.

Welcome back to Wolf’s Pub. Friday at last! I’ve been hearing that we shouldn’t be buying stuff from China. Seems like it has become a conservative mantra lately.

That would be nice, but as a seasoned shopper, I have to tell ya, IT’S DAMNED HARD TRYING TO FIND STUFF NOT MADE IN CHINA.

Walmart is among the worst of the worst. They sold their corporate soul to China years ago, and every single Walmart is stuffed to the brim with CRAP FROM CHINA. Once in awhile Walmart pretends to care about American-made goods and American jobs by featuring some item that is actually Made in America.

They usually put it on the end cap or the middle of an aisle and that constitutes their virtue-signaling for the average sleepy shopper.

DISGUSTING. Walmart and the other multi-nationals left us for China long ago. They are content to let serfs and slaves produce the goods they provide to American consumers, because they don’t want to pay the worthy laborer for his hire.

They will tell you that Americans demand cheap goods and they are simply providing what consumers demand, but I don’t see it that way. If American companies paid good wages to produce their goods in America, then Americans could easily afford and purchase goods made here.

In fact, I would say a majority of Americans would happily pay more for goods that they knew were being produced in America, with quality materials and American know-how.

Is any American happy and content that upwards of 80% of our medicines are produced in China?

In fact, if you want to purchase something made in America, you have to seek long and hard. Amazon seems reluctant to tell us where many of the products they sell originate.

Well, I’m at this point: From Anywhere But China (FABC)

But we need help to get there. Pressure MUST be put on the companies that locate and do business with China. Something needs to be organized, like rolling boycotts of certain companies. Imagine if a large number of Americans stopped shopping at American Walmarts for two-week periods.

What if we stood outside the Walmart in our town and protested with signs once a month or so? We could educate the public about the slave labor in China and how Walmart couldn’t give a rip about the slaves that make the goods we buy, or the jobs they’ve taken away from us.

What if we all stopped shopping for weeks at a time at Amazon?

I have already stopped buying all my linens from other sources. I buy exclusively from Mike Lindell’s My Pillow. He’s also got an online presence with goods Made in America by Americans.

Let’s put our money where our mouth is.

Christmas is coming. I think it’s time to purchase a boatload of My Pillow towels and linens for my liberal family. I know they will appreciate the quality of the items.

THE COVID RELIGION

It’s falling apart. The Covid Commandments change from one day to the next, and even the most devoted adherent is experiencing cognitive dissonance.

That damned mask is understood as a sign of unholy submission to the Covid Religion. The High Priest of Covidism (Fauci) has now deemed masks effective for school children. His Priestess (Walensky) has deemed it the First Commandment to take the Holy Jab.

Yet, Ivermectin and HCQ and the other therapeutics are winning the day. There are enough heretical brave and morally advanced doctors and other medical professionals who kept and keep speaking the truth every day.

Youtube/Google will rue the day they exposed their impotence by trying to shut down the dissemination of truth about vaccinations. We won’t even have to destroy you. You have destroyed yourselves.

Big Pharma will have to swallow the medicine of mass correction. Let us endeavor to help them purge themselves of the greed and diabolical evil that infects their body.

They don’t own our hearts, our minds, or our bodies.

Today’s drink special is the Moscow Mule. Ah yes, that iconic cocktail that purported to begin with a copper mug from Moscow, a man trying to sell his ginger beer, and the owner of the Cock and Bull bar in Los Angeles.

The Arizona audit report drops today. Let the fireworks begin. It feels like we’ve been trudging through a mucky swamp trying to get somewhere and we can see the shore but can’t quite get there.

I really hope that Maricopa blows the whole thing sky high. And it was really nice to see President Trump (our real President) take Texas Governor Greg Abbott to task about auditing Texas. We know Abbott and his cronies across the state don’t want audits because many Republicans will be implicated. This is not about Republicans and Democrats.

It’s about Good and Evil. It’s been enormously painful to see the depth of corruption in our nation’s institutions. Very, very painful.

IT’S A SPIRITUAL PROBLEM

One question that has dogged me since the whole Great Reset was kicked off with the CCP Virus, is how can so many people be so fooled for so long when the truth is being trumpeted across the width and depth of independent media?

Well, I ran across an interview that Reiner Fullmich conducted with Belgian psychologist and professor, Mattias Desmet: The Psychology of Covid-19 (Mass Formation and Totalitarian Thinking):

This is an utterly fascinating discussion regarding how large groups of people fall willingly into totalitarianism.

Light bulbs were going off in my head as I listened to this interview. Professor Desmet says four things must be present in order to facilitate the conditions for a people to go down the road of societal madness:

A lot of socially isolated people,
A lot of people who lack sense-making in life
Free floating anxiety
Free floating psychological discontent

These four conditions existed prior to Covid. Larry Turner writes about Professor Desmet’s interview here. He explains:

“If these four factors are present in enough members of any given society, Desmet says the society in question is at risk for the ‘crystallizing’ action of “mass formation” where large numbers of discontented, anxious, confused, and isolated people simultaneously and suddenly seize upon some single apparent threat and give it their entire attention and energy. The basic reason for this attention and energy seizure, according to Desmet, is that putting focus on a single apparent threat provides immediate and palpable relief from a constellation of the longstanding chronic pressures of social isolation, lack of sensemaking, and free-floating anxiety and discontent. This mobilization of individual attention and energy against some single perceived threat unfortunately, according to Desmet’s explanation of the phenomena, segues easily into increasingly totalitarian government behavior.

Desmet believes that this is exactly what has happened and is happening to greater or lesser degrees all over the globe in response to the COVID19 virus pandemic. He posits that – judging from measures of high and increasing drug use, increased job burnout and economic dissatisfaction, and increasing social isolation – that prior to the arrival of COVID19 a significant number of humans were extremely uncomfortable with their lives. With the arrival of the virus, however, they were able to unload their longstanding unfocused anxiety and discontent onto the ‘COVID19 crisis’, thereby obtaining a welcome and immediate release from their chronic discomforts and tensions. Desmet refers to the immediate feeling of relief felt by those previously heavily burdened with isolation, lack of sensemaking, and free-floating anxiety and discontent as a “mental intoxication”.

What about those who don’t get caught up in the lies and mass formation? Desmet says:

“Usually it is only about 30% [of a population that gets] grasped in a mass phenomenon or hypnosis. SACROSANCT BEER?

Since today’s opener features Professor Desmet, a Belgian, I thought it appropriate to offer a nice selection of Belgian beers today. Here’s a nice article that explains the seriousness with which the Belgians feel about their beer.

ALCHEMY AND FAUCI

At the front of the pub, is our drink special for today, which comes from a centuries’ old manuscript dedicated to giving long life. I’d say there’s some alchemy going on there (see below). Considering that the plague continued to find victims centuries after the Black Death, it is no wonder that mankind was casting about for health treatments and elixirs of life.

I found this fascinating article about a popular tract that details how to treat for the plague. Honestly, Dr. Fauci would be most comfortable with dispensing their advice today, I think:

Today’s special is Chartreuse, yet another monk-inspired liquor. The history of this famous liquor reads like a medieval mystery. The classic Chartreuse gets its unique green color from the chlorophyll in the herbs. The video below has the history as told by two representatives involved with sales of Chartreuse.

Here’s another shorter video review of Chartreuse, which because of its alcohol content soon became more than a medicinal. The original Chartreuse was 69% ABV. Today it is 55% ABV.

There’s a plethora of cocktails that include Chartreuse, but if you enjoy the pungent complexity of herbs, with honey tones, you will enjoy this special liquor straight up or on ice. I hadn’t tasted Chartreuse in decades, so I indulged in purchasing some the other day. Wow, I’ve been missing out.

NPR got caught with their pants down telling more lies about hospital bed availability in southern states. It’s beyond ridiculous at this point.

But, wouldn’t it be great if we could really just topple the power of the tech lords? The power of these monsters need to be broken into a thousand pieces. And yet, it’s all connected. They wouldn’t be able to wield such power if they weren’t in bed with the government, which allows them unfettered abilities to shape the public’s perceptions in whatever way they wish.

As you can see from one of my favorite and oft-quoted books, That Hideous Strength, the intimate cooperation of various agencies, individuals, and institutions, can work “magic” on the perception of the public.

Have we not seen this very thing with the Covid-19 panic, now moving into almost 24 months of non-stop lies and half-truths? They are spewing them faster and faster now.

They blew it, though. They are going to fail at population control and endless vaccinations. Oh, Israel will be hard hit, and other countries who BELIEVED THE LIES and have massive vaccination rates. But there were enough people who understood that BGCM (Big Government Corporate Media) are the enemies of mankind.

Enough of us were awake, and we told others and we didn’t stop exposing the lies, even when the BGCM attacked and maligned and canceled us. I thank God for every honest doctor out there, for every tough-minded reporter from independent media, for every blogger and every commenter who shared information and wouldn’t let up.

Now, we are seeing parents rise up and demand freedom from mask mandates at their local school board meetings. We are watching citizen participation skyrocket, and the AUDITS are marching on. Oh, the evil ones are fighting back. They are ALL IN. But the tide is turning.

The purposely-engineered debacle that is Afghanistan has blown up in the communists’ faces. Instead of deflecting from the audits and the sideshow of the Covid-19 circus, the malicious, purposeful and willful murder of our soldiers and abandonment of our fellow Americans has highlighted the unamerican, yes I will say it, treasonous behavior of our highest civil and military officials.

In a pinch, this will feed a small family for weeks. For another hundred you can add those foods that you would miss if shortages occur. Stock the freezer with meat, add some canned meats to your pantry. Buy some powdered milk (or buy regular milk and freeze it). Stock up on eggs.
You will be glad you did. Food security can mean everything in a tough time. Make sure you have extra vitamins and supplements, any scripts you need, and so on.

Now that you’ve got a little extra, spend an extra $5 or $10 when you grocery shop and stock up with more canned foods, pasta, butter (freezes well), oils (olive oil also freezes), and anything that would make a time of shortages go easier.

That hundred pounds of flour will make lots of pancakes, biscuits, gravies, cookies, bread, pasta, pies, cakes, and so on.

I can’t bear the thought of any of us going hungry. Let’s suppose we end up not needing the extras. Well, you can donate to the local food pantry or a family in need.

Welcome back to Wolf’s Pub! What a week. It’s a flood now. The information war is heating up on all fronts. Fascist Big Business is wrenching down on the working man/woman. YOU WILL WEAR THE MASK. YOU WILL GET VACCINATED.

The persecutions will not stop. Even if they manage to get all us masked and vaccinated (they won’t) the persecutions will continue. They enjoy it. And now we are finding out how that local store manager you know is one of Them. He enjoys the power of making you submit.

Now is the time to speak up and out. Now is the time to take your stand. Now is the time for ALL OF US to take a stand.

It’s hitting close to home now. A relative of mine was just fired today. She was fired for not wearing a face muzzle at one of Warren Buffet’s mobile home manufacturing plants.

It’s 99 degrees in that plant. No air conditioning. She tried to wear the mask, but using saws and drills in the extreme heat while also exhaling in the mask caused her safety glasses to fog up.

She couldn’t hear instructions or people speaking because of the masks, let alone the noise in the plant. It is DANGEROUS to force employees to wear a mask in an active manufacturing environment with heavy equipment and tools.

At a plant meeting earlier in the day, the management announced that all employees had to mask up again. Previously, employees who were not vaccinated had to wear a Yellow Star, I mean a Red Dot on their work helmets. The vaxxed crowd got to wear a Green Dot on their helmets. You can’t make this stuff up.

The new rules at the meeting included a policy that any new employees HAD TO BE VACCINATED, as well as all upline managers, effective immediately.

Additionally, un-vaccinated employees who contract Covid-19 would not have their sick-time covered, though vaccinated employees would be given PTO. This is out-and-out discrimination, Mr. Buffet.

Real people are being persecuted for a virus with a 99% + survival rate. Again, this ain’t about the Covid, as everyone here knows. It’s about the “Great” reset. Not so great, eh?

I was on the road recently. Back to some old haunts. Watched a demonstration of glass blowing at the Hot Shop at the Corning Museum of Glass (as in Corning, Incorporated). Although I was pleased to see that there was a sizeable amount of people unmasked, the employees were all forced to wear masks.

The gaffers (glass-blowers) were masked. By the end of the Hot Shop demonstration, the one who spoke to the audience was so out of breath that you could hear it in her voice as she literally gasped for breath. The microphone picked it all up and broadcast it for the audience. She actually had to lean against a wall to try and catch her breath. Yes, masking around ovens with temperatures of up to 2,000 degrees is DANGEROUS for the workers.

This is what these FASCIST BUSINESSES are doing to the American people. In concert with federal and some state and local governments, US businesses are forcing American citizens to participate in COVIDISM, the Official Medical Religion of the United States of America.

And, oh are they inconsistent! Was at a Tractor Supply Company in Texas and the employees are all masked. Funny that COVIDISM has a different application in upstate New York where the Tractor Supply Company employees are NOT masked.

No rhyme or reason to COVIDISM if you think it’s about safety, security, and your health. What is it really all about?

Nuts! People, we need to call out and name these companies. They need to feel the HEAT of their indulgence in fascism. Bad press is their nightmare.

This is war. And Big Business is proving to be traitors on the wrong side of their customers’ best interests, namely FREEDOM. We aren’t going to forget what y’all did during this time. You will have no excuse for participating in the destruction of our nation, our freedoms, and our health. It will be on you, Big Business, and not just the government and medical establishments.

What a week. I don’t know about you, but I feel like a Suffering Bastard. The good news is really just the bad news getting exposed, and it’s awful and depressing. It should be abundantly clear by now that our election system was captured some time ago, and it is possible our votes have not counted for years.

The Cyber Symposium started and ended with more bangs than I can count. Let me digress for just a moment. I’m sure most of us have already noticed that there are a great number of Christians presenting at the Symposium.

This is no fluke.

When we let Him, God will use us to accomplish His will. I thank God for all those who stood up and stood strong at the Cyber Symposium, premier among them the Pillow Man:

It is a daily battle for me. But whenever I square off with fear and face it down, my outlook improves. I refuse to let fear overcome me.

I’m looking forward to the growing swell of We the People taking back our republic. It is going to happen. We have no choice. Our “ace in the hole” (thanks for that, Wolf!) is a supernatural power Who is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient. God is present everywhere, He is all powerful, and He is all-knowing. Quantum computing is nothing compared to Him.

And the likes of George Soros are, quite frankly, piffle to Him. Speaking of Soros, I was watching that interview again, the one where he is asked by Steve Kroft if he believes in God. Watch it over a few times (it’s prompted to a minute or so before). Notice the split second of pause and the look and direction of his eyes before he responds with “No.”

Do you believe him? I don’t. Soros believes. But Soros hates God to the point that he won’t even admit that God is real. At some point he must’ve internalized that hatred until it consumed his humanity. And now we are dealing with him and other maniacs as we attempt to hold onto our republic.

Well, I have to go back to That Hideous Strength, and quote a scene where one of the most evil characters knows all is lost.

THE SUFFERING BASTARD—TODAY’S SPECIAL

It was hell during World War Two. The Brits in the African theater were suffering. The troops were drinking what poor-quality alcohol was out there. Hangovers abounded. But one intrepid bartender in a bar in Cairo took it upon himself to concoct a “Hair of the Dog” drink for the poor suffering bastards.

And doesn’t it seem like we’ve had a bad news and information hangover? The unfolding of the ELECTION STEAL just does something to your inner patriot. Read a little here, and then I’ve included a couple videos.

The soldiers and officers apparently loved the Suffering Bastard, but one bartender in one of the videos had a bit of an issue with mixing bourbon, gin, lime juice, bitters and ginger ale.

Bottoms up and may the Suffering Bastard bring us some relief from the bad news hangover. The good news is, we now know the bad news. A big step to taking back our republic.
