This is a BOOK REVIEW. Of a GREAT BOOK. By a GREAT THINKER.
William S. Lind is a name I had heard of before, back on some blog we now call OT, otherwise known as CTH, or The Conservative Treehouse, or The Last Refuge. Lind’s name came up in the context of two great ideas, both of which I was heavily schooled in, by several of the sharp conservatives hanging out at Sundance’s place. Those ideas were:
4GW – short for 4th Generation Warfare
Cultural Marxism in America
But if you look these up on Marxypedia, and search out any connection to William S. Lind, you will get the impression that he’s an unknown crackpot of some kind. HA! More deception by the communist occupation.
Lind is not without controversy, as BOTH of his claims to fame have been vociferously criticized by people who typically get FOUR OR MORE Suspicious Cats from me.
You know – like THE DAILY KOS.
The criticisms of Lind, in my opinion, give away his importance.
So as you might imagine, Lind’s name and his self-description as a “paleoconservative” on the back cover were very attractive to me – just as attractive as the 4GW paleo-hottie featured on the front cover of his book.

Yes, retroculture looks a bit like cultural retreat, and that is indeed part of its brilliance.
Retroculture is an extremely disruptive idea that was just waiting for somebody to BRAND it.
Retroculture was with me every time I grabbed OLD AMERICAN HARDWOOD AND STEEL HAND TOOLS from one more estate sale, to replace CHEATIN’ CHINESE POT METAL JUNK that broke during the first few uses.
Retroculture was with me and the wife, when we purchased our dear abode, which looks, how shall we say – “OLD-TIMEY”.
Retroculture was with me when I proposed to my dear wife, whose very old cultural roots were a bit n00by compared to some of mine, but were still old enough to guarantee retention of TIMELESS values.
I always wanted to CALL these thoughts of LONG-TERM AND PROVEN VALUE something.
RETROCULTURE is exactly what that something is.
Retroculture is, incidentally, the very idea that got Trump elected.
Really? Why?
BECAUSE WHEN PEOPLE WISH THEY COULD GO BACK TO A BETTER PAST, THE MAN WHO CAN ACTUALLY HELP THEM PULL IT OFF IS THEIR CHAMPION.
TIME TRAVEL TRUMP. Yeah. There is a REASON he seems so “timeless”. HE IS.
For those of you who REMEMBER, there was an episode of Original Star Trek called “All Our Yesterdays” – in which people on a planet facing a supernova ESCAPED INTO THE PAST.
This idea was unsettling. BUT what is quite possibly bothering you EVEN MORE right now is the EVEN MORE unsettling idea that this plot actually sounds better NOW than it did THEN.
ADMIT IT.

But before we do, just a word of warning. Yeah, we know that Star Trek is filled with the usual Hollywood satanist and Illuminati symbolism, including Spock’s ears, but just keep your hat on for the duration of the ride. It’s not ALL satanic, demonic, and ugly. It’s. Just. Hollywood.

Yeah, the satanic ears probably sailed a lot of this stuff past the Hollywood creeps who would have otherwise nixed some ground-breaking sci-fi and “preppertainment”, but still – ignore for the moment. Factor it out. This wasn’t “The Gong Show”.
Lind correctly identifies the 1960s as where things started going to hell, but not without a valiant attempt to go where things SHOULD have gone – very likely under media victim Barry Goldwater.
Note how the Uhura-Kirk kiss wasn’t the only groundbreaking “civil rights” on television. How these proggies can claim we were racists back then is beyond ludicrous – it’s horsefeathers.
They LIE to us about our past, so they can drive us into THEIR vision of OUR future.
Just ONE random old TV show from the 1960s, betraying the relative innocence of America in only the EARLY Marxist takeover of Hollywood….

Note that this isn’t “real” in most senses – it’s actually a dramatization of code-breaking basics that the World War II code-breakers knew from the start. More than that, it’s also filled with PC encouragement of women to enter STEM. But THAT isn’t the point, either.
The point is that this movie, which I JUST. KEEP. USING. to demonstrate point after point about information warfare, is ULTIMATELY RETROCULTURAL, and that is why it works SO. DARN. WELL. People love retroculture because HISTORY proves its VALIDITY.
Retroculture throws all of our current chaotically ridiculous social and technical problems BACK IN TIME where they are SENSIBLE and SOLUBLE (including REJECTABLE) in a proven framework where GREATNESS WAS ACHIEVABLE.
And this brings up an important point which Lind addresses over and over, so that it gets past our ALINSKY FEARS – those fears that it’s all just some kind of “reenactment” written as large as our whole lives.
Retroculture is not mere NOSTALGIA, nor is it ABOUT nostalgia, although our current CULTURAL NOSTALGIA is indeed a SIGN that we are actually IN NEED OF retroculture.
Retroculture is something bigger and more profound.
Retroculture SOLVES PROBLEMS. And not necessarily in ways that socially damaging, urgency-foisting progressives want.
Retroculture is more about classic VALUES and LIFESTYLES than about the mere outward trappings of those times.
Retroculture is not any kind of “running away”, into the past. Retroculture is ENGAGING THE FUTURE on solid ground.
And SOME OF US on this very site may actually be a bit “ahead of the curve” on this stuff. Ya know? Look at all our own retrocultural symbolism and take comfort.
The idea of RETROCULTURE as the PROPER COURSE OF PROGRESS of America is such a BIG and profound idea, it escapes any attempt to box it in, and Lind knows this. Lind does not merely remind us that this sort of cultural re-examination and emulation of our classic past has happened before – and was GREAT for humanity – even great for HUMAN PROGRESS. Lind is actually able to make some easy yet startling predictions about what things might look like as this idea of retroculture takes over and defines the rest of this century.
You can’t read this book and not feel your head fill up with YOUR OWN IDEAS about what this means. Here is some of my thinking, inspired by Lind.
Retroculture is MOVEMENT, but it’s BIG MOVEMENT – more like a cultural paradigm shift. Political movements like MAGA and fads like steampunk fall like snowflakes within the mountain range of retroculture and the YEARNING for it, as tiny derivations and exemplars.
Retroculture is also something that I am quite sure scares the hell out of our faux “progressives” – seemingly better described as “regressives”. Why do you think our crypto-socialist social media czars, at the behest of Adam “Pencilneck” Schiff, banned the ultimately retrocultural “Natural News”?
Retroculture might actually be MORE POSITIVELY “progressive” than progressivism. This is shocking to even contemplate, but yet it seems likely. Part of retroculture’s 4GW appeal is that – no matter what liberals SAY, THEY TOO will find value in the past – and likely more than in the current, modern, incompetent, and faulty visions of progressivism.
Retroculture amounts to popular selection of principles by LIVING THEM, not just by TALKING about them. It is validation of tenets of both conservatism and liberalism which PROVE THEMSELVES WORTHY TO RETAIN – voted on BY PEOPLE with their very lives.
Retroculture is selective rejection of the present – of what things are NOT QUALIFIED to become part of our past – our LIVING, INTELLIGENT PAST.
What liberalisms DIE IN THE NOW are fads. What liberalisms are retained by THE PEOPLE are judged WORTHY and maybe someday CLASSIC, possibly enduring who knows how long.
Retroculture is the FINE SIEVE of a truly free and truly equal people which judges and chooses WISELY, not POORLY.
Retroculture is a rejection of CONTROLLING TECHNOLOGY and CONTROL BY TECHNOLOGY. It demands CONTROL OF TECHNOLOGY. It is utterly HUMAN.
Retroculture, embracing what the dishonest subset of modernists tell us must be rejected, instead REJECTS their lies, their fakery, and their deceptions, by CHOOSING what they FALSELY say is dead, and which therefore becomes alive by our mere act of CHOOSING TO LIVE IT.
Retroculture, free and selective, falsifies controlling globalism by its very existence. And yet retroculture, AWARE and never IN DENIAL, retains what powers – moral, cultural, and technical – are needed to defend itself. It’s pure and utter allegiance to TRUTH insures that it will never – can never – be destroyed. RETENTION OF TRUTH is in accordance with CREATION ITSELF.
But that’s JUST ME – running away with Lind’s amazing ideas, in my own directions. It is far more critical to simply take a look at LIND’S THINKING, which I can only begin to address here. And – as a way to share his thinking without stealing his thunder, I think his CHAPTER HEADINGS tell you everything you need to know, to understand that Lind wants you to (1) decide if retroculture is right for you, and then (2) implement a retrocultural lifestyle in the ways that are right for you.
If you are conservative, or old-fashioned in any ways, you are likely doing much of this already. However, Lind is offering you ways to UP YOUR GAME. Particularly if you’re more of a “crypto-retrocultural” like me, hiding behind modernist gimmicks which pass me off as unremarkable despite ANCIENT values. Lind challenges you to WEAR THE SIGNS and SPREAD THE FAITH.

Now – let me go a bit beyond Lind and explain why this book is so dangerous – and how to make it even more dangerous.
If *I* was ARKTOS, the publisher, I would have about TEN versions of that cover. Why? Because everybody wants to either BE on that cover, or be ATTRACTED to the person on it.
Sure – jumping right out with that 1950’s white blonde in a dress was utter genius and a perfect thumb in the face of all that is PC, but trust me – EVERYBODY is going to want to get in on the act. RETROCULTURE lets everybody BE WHO THEY ARE WITHOUT GUILT, in beautiful and validated lifestyles that ACTUALLY WORK.
The very next cover, if I were doing it, would be some historical version of Candace Owens. Then maybe a young, swoonable Elvis Presley type. Then more. No matter what, it would show the IN YOUR FACE attractiveness of retroculture and retrosexuality to EVERYBODY.
YES – that genius cover is more than just retrocultural – it is specifically RETROSEXUAL.
This is why I admit that I’m not just a retrocultural – I’m a RETROSEXUAL. Our restrained yet artfully constructed, sexually dimorphic past – GUILTLESS in its beauty- was AWESOME. Sure – now we’ve learned not to be MEAN to well-behaved sexual minorities – but why are we demonizing NORMALCY as part of it? We were doing it right before, more or less, with just a few things that we can EASILY FIX NOW with reterocultural MANNERS (see the book).
That’s the whole POINT of retroculture. It’s not the past. It’s LIKE IT, only BETTER.
And I’m not just an activist – I’m a BACKTIVIST. I’m saying that the direction FORWARD is to ACTUALLY GO BACK. We have been DECEIVED FORWARD, so the PROPER ESCAPE from this WORLD OF MISTAKES we are in, is to simply GO BACK.
Do you see how amazingly dangerous this idea of RETROCULTURE actually is, to phony progressivism and spatially and temporally monolithic globalism? This is jumping the track to ALTERNATE HISTORY where Martin Luther King, Jr. NEVER DIED, and REFUSED – absolutely REFUSED to support racial quotas and all the other stupid stuff that the communists forced upon us.
RETROCULTURE leads to a world where all of the mistakes that were forced upon us after they killed Kennedy just plain NEVER HAPPENED.
RETROCULTURE IS TRUE REBELLION AGAINST PAST ERROR BY ADMITTING IT AND THEN GOING BACK TO FIX IT.
How could we not want this?
The truth is, WE ALREADY WANT THIS.

Look at your life. I will bet MONEY you are already adopting retrocultural memes, but are just shy about it, or even feeling a bit GUILTY.
Stop feeling guilty!
Here you go. List FIVE unfashionable, out-of-date, out-of-style, quaint, or old-fashioned things that you LOVE, timeless as they may be, but in some cases may feel that you can’t openly love them as much as you would like to love them.
Deep down – EVERYBODY LOVES THIS STUFF. EVERYBODY WANTS THIS STUFF.
They just need to embrace it guiltlessly while the cabal VAINLY tries to stop it.
The fashion and luxury industries LOVE this stuff, too. Reinventing the past with greater and greater authenticity yet adding some form of “new and shiny” polish is their DREAM COME TRUE.
Retroculture subverts all of the mistakes of the past and present – and it does so without being stupid or gullible.
NOW – we have to be ready for the commie cabal to counter with their own schtick, OR their usual criticisms. I’m sure there is some way they can gerrymander retroculture into “appropriation” of some kind, but that criticism is weak sauce – just ignore it. Humanity is too far along to worry about spreading good and classic ideas.
The greater danger, in my opinion, is a kind of faux retro that leads right back to progressive error.
To see this, you have to dig into Lind’s personal vision of Retroculture. These are not things you will assume at first have to be a part of Retroculture, but the fact is, any self-consistent version of Retroculture DOES HAVE THESE THINGS, because retroculture simplifies life, culture and technology.
Retroculture VALUES things like WALKING, and TAKING THE TROLLEY, and CONSERVING ENERGY, and BEING HEALTHY and GETTING BACK TO NATURE.
BUT HEY, WAIT A MINUTE!
One can almost envision Alexandria Ocacio-Cortez jumping up and down in her CIA white dress, biting her old-timey ruby-red lips, raising her hand excitedly, and saying “WE’VE GOT THAT!!!”
Yes, she does. But that’s not all there is to TRULY conserving retroculture. At the same time, retroculture embraces ALL of the smarter past, including HIGHER SMARTER VALUES like GETTING BACK TO GOD, and HIGHER SMARTER TECHNOLOGY for everybody when they want it – not just for a TECHNOCRATIC ELITE.
Retroculture includes the FEARLESS ADMISSION OF TIMELESS TRUTH.
So let’s be fearlessly BLUNT.
Their “Green New Deal” is really the GREEN NEW STONE AGE, ruled over by a political elite, supported by a technocratic elite, and based on LIES.
Retroculture – in America’s case – is a TRUTH-BASED RETURN TO CLASSIC VALUES ACROSS AMERICAN HISTORY AND ACROSS THE POPULACE.
THAT is a much bigger, better, and brighter thing.
You don’t think Lind and his editors put that plane in the picture for NOTHING – do you?

So all that being said, let me repeat more explicitly.
I believe that it is possible to see the Dawn’s Early Light ahead of us RIGHT NOW – maybe even HIGH NOON – and these FIVE BOOKS together are the LENS through which I can see it coming.
I am going to introduce these five books in roughly the order of my becoming aware of their subjects and importance, and in each case explain the book, the author, the subject, and HOW the subject is going to IMPACT THE FUTURE.
We begin with a book which is not yet published. You can, however, pre-order it NOW.
1st: Dreamland: An Autobiography by Bob Lazar
I have to thank Harry Lime for not just alerting me to this book, but turning me on to Bob Lazar. While Bob’s YOUNGER face seems somehow familiar to me, possibly from television, I don’t think I ever paid SERIOUS attention to him until Harry posted THIS VIDEO by body language analyst Derek Van Schaik:

This video absolutely stunned me. Not because of the “way out” stuff – but because of the SCIENCE.
As Bob talked about Element 115 – an isotope of which is supposedly used to power alien spacecraft – I suddenly realized that Bob and his Area 51 colleagues were likely WORKING with some of the THEORIES I once believed were MISSING from public science, back when I was a young scientist. And beyond THAT, an exo angle would sure explain how the CIA would have gotten involved with my utterly domestic case, which would explain how I got sucked into an ABUSE of MK ULTRA technology, and….
OK – that’s a bit of a side issue – let’s just wait until we get to BOOK FOUR for that discussion.
The main point is, what we have here in Bob Lazar is a kind of “limited leak” – not an authorized disclosure. He’s not even really a whistleblower, in my opinion. In fact, what he did is a bit like what Jim Comey did – a “defensive leak” – except I actually BELIEVE Bob Lazar.
And by the way – I think that Bob was probably SMART to leak enough to make killing him not worth it. Again, more on THAT when we get to BOOK FOUR.
IF what Bob is saying is true – and he has ENORMOUS credibility with me for scientific reasons – then it changes the nature of what is happening right now in an EXTREME but also very SATISFYING and LOGICAL way.
I had suspected, both by the NATURE of what “the Swamp” has been trying to do, and by various dead ends in my political analysis – that there has been a big, invisible element that drives much of the current political turmoil. That element – IMO – is most likely EXO.
Bob Lazar not only confirms this – he fills in much of the details, and connects many of the dots.

And because of Bob, while looking for more information about him, I picked up a DIFFERENT book, which I thought might have more “reality-based EXO information”.
Tighten your seatbelts and grab the rails. We are accelerating in ALL DIMENSIONS.
2nd: The Day After Roswell by Col. Philip J. Corso
This is an old book (1997), and yet it reads like it was written and published yesterday.
This book covers what I now regard as a limited 50-year disclosure of Roswell by somebody who was involved with “farming out” technology from one or more crashed alien spacecrafts. The fact that Col. Phil Corso was clearly a very loyal and patriotic soldier, and the timing of his highly circumscribed “whistleblowing”, lead me to believe that he had an “orphaned” standing order – likely presidential or from his boss, General Trudeau – to make a limited disclosure of his own role at the 50 year anniversary of Roswell, absent a fuller disclosure already having been made.
His thusly presumed order was presumably carried out, and it certainly helped ME to see see the world more clearly.

Read the book. You’ll understand.
Col. Corso handled the ASSIGNMENT of reverse engineering tasks for a variety of technological artifacts recovered from the Roswell spacecraft – as well as pursuing OTHER technologies NOT found, but IMPLIED by the findings of the craft.
The INTERSECTION of these technologies with our own, similar, technologies – which seem to have developed in perfect timing from them – is just too remarkable and correct to be anything but serious reality. Consider this one more shoulder-bump disproof of both the fake news media and its accessory before the fact – the “fictionalizing”, “normalizing”, and “alibi-creating” fake entertainment.
Corso gives a good and very SELECTIVE general recollection of what HE HEARD about the Roswell crash, over the years, in his professional life, as well as what HE himself saw in the shipment of artifacts from the crash which was housed at his fort. Corso is obvious a really good WITNESS – observant, careful, self-understanding, and self-critical – but not too much.
One of the best parts, however, is the degree of political insight Corso shows. Col. Corso had a clear window into not only the real politics of America, where hidden communists and dupes figure prominently, but also into what is often called exo-politics. Not so much between “exos” or “EBEs” (aliens) themselves, but between aliens and humans, and between different nations, militaries, and agencies. Corso reveals very careful and limited knowledge, and THAT is why it is so valuable. When Corso speculates, which is very rare, he clearly labels it as such. Otherwise, he is quite good about sticking to what he actually KNOWS, or was told – all properly differentiated.
Every time I re-read ANY section of this book, I gain a deeper understanding of the past, the present, and the future. I could talk about this book all day, and at some point, I will. But before I do get into it deeply, I STRONGLY urge everybody to read this book. It, like the Bible, will bear RE-READING.
But now lets’ come back to earth, and look at a POLITICAL GUN MURDER – one which I believe is very subtly but DEEPLY connected to exo-politics – a connection which remains just a bit murky for the moment, but will likely be exposed in crystal clarity, sooner rather than later.
3rd: Why Meadow Died by Andrew Pollack (and Max Eden)
You will find no UFOs, communists, or mad scientists in this book – but you will STILL be shocked out of your gourd by this highly revealing work of citizen journalism.
And that is precisely why I can fit this piece of the puzzle so NEATLY into the bigger picture. There are QUESTIONS by the dozen, just WAITING for ANSWERS.
Andrew Pollack – aggrieved father of Parkland shooting victim Meadow Pollack – was able to put together all the evidence needed to prove a shocking and unsettling reality – that there were forces which ENABLED – with what seems like great intention – the Parkland shooter, Nikolas Cruz. People just did the WRONG THING – over, and over, and over. And your mind adds the following: as if they wanted an even BIGGER wrong thing to INTENTIONALLY HAPPEN.
Broward schools put this MONSTER in class with my beautiful daughter.
They knew exactly what he was. They gave him a gun.
PARENTS: Do you know what's really happening in your kid's school?
Andrew Pollack is and has been very smart. He never goes “over the line” in trying to speculate as to “why” people in Parkland did what they did to – quite literally – create the drama of #Parkland. Thus, everybody else is left to figure it out. This is the PERFECT WAY for a public researcher to interface with the issue, because it is utterly unassailable. Nobody can call him a “conspiracy theorist” because he puts no tag on the evidence – and yet – well – for any sane person looking at the bag of evidence he has collected, it’s very clear.
SOMEBODY wanted what happened, to ACTUALLY happen.
Here is another opinion of this book – a “tweet review” that should be heeded. Note that Brian Cates is likewise careful not to speculate openly on causes, despite his own remarkable ability to so speculate with broad accuracy and frequent precision. He doesn’t “go there”, even though we all know he could.

I have only read TWO REVIEWS of this book, and I am already WAY AHEAD of everybody.
Why would that be? Probably because if there was ever a secret technology that was OVER-USED and then ABUSED, to the point that some guy like me would know about it, it would be “mind control” of various kinds. “Advanced mental science”, let us call it.
You cannot “un-invent” mind control, any more than you can uninvent programmable interfaces to computers. You can PRETEND that individual back-door programmability of computers doesn’t exist, but that is not possible if you actually want to CLEAN STUFF UP.
And there is no “Draining The Swamp” without “Cleaning Stuff Up”. Let’s just be clear about that part.
This book is ALREADY being spun – furiously – by NPR and GOOGLE and the usual CABAL JOKERS, to preserve the Swamp’s moneymaker fiction – part of FAKE HISTORY – that MK ULTRA was not fabulously successful.
Well, that’s news to me, having accidentally remembered an induction and part of a programming session, which enabled me to figure out – almost 40 years later – that Sidney Gottlieb was a WHOLE LOT more successful than he let on. He FOUND HIS HOLY GRAIL – and the system kept it a secret, while USING IT LIKE CRAZY. Including the doing of a lot of very bad stuff, albeit much of it having been done in the name of “good”.

What is ironic about the NYT review, is that the totally unwarranted conclusion about the failure of the guy whose technology was used to “torture” me, makes me angry enough to DEFEND HIM.

Let’s put this all in perspective. Sidney Gottlieb did the dirty job that he was assigned to do, in the scared-as-all-fuck LAST PLACE position the United States found itself in, relative to both scary aliens and post-Nazi world socialism, in regard to “advanced biological programming sciences”.
Which sciences I will just call “MK” for short. This includes both “control of minds” and “control by minds”. And if you think about things that way, in a very technological fashion, knowing what we know now – as in future proves past – you will see that the whole subject comes STRAIGHT OUTTA ROSWELL. Although some aspects of it are much older. It’s been in use on this planet for a long time. ASK WHY.
The absolute scariest thing found in the Roswell crash was not the astoundingly meager propulsion system. Nor was it the laser tool, nor the particle beam, none of which seemed to be weapons grade, IMO.
No. It was the “headbands” that basically allowed people, used broadly, to share their thoughts. WITHOUT all the CRAP we use now. That allowed the people on the crashed craft to project – in the wrong language and broken speakers – some garbled version of their thoughts to the humans trying to both help and – unfortunately in the confusion – hurt them.
None of this crap should freak us out now. Our scientists all over the planet – even at Mind Control Facebook – are desperately working on this stuff with a gleam in their eyes. The ALIEN bloom is off that rose – LONG AGO. It SEEMS utterly human at this point.
But FAKE NEWS like the Failing New York Times continues to SHILL for the CIA’s FAKE UNIVERSE, pretending the alien origin of this stuff isn’t REAL and that the tech doesn’t halfway WORK now.
I can tell you – based on a desperate attempt to shut me up, that we have the SPEAKER PART working reasonably well, although only a nebbish would think that the result – which is categorically distinguishable from any kind of endogenous “voices”, such as in dreams, is anything but a Model T version of a communications technology.
But this stuff – our weak emulation of the Roswell tech – is not the real Holy Grail of espionage. It’s early, baby Ethernet – it’s not hacking root. No. THAT was discovered by Sidney Gottlieb, and he needs to get credit for what he did. MK ULTRA works FABULOUSLY – within the limits of what it CAN do – something that I personally experienced. And it is enough. ENOUGH TO FUCKING CHANGE HISTORY.
You don’t think they TRIED IT when they HAD IT? Give me a break.
MK ULTRA amnesia is what was used on Barney and Betty Hill. THAT is something we apparently had – thanks to Sidney Gottlieb – working very nicely in 1981. But we also had more – much more. We could alter people’s choices. We could INSURE certain choices. It’s actually quite startling. Particularly if you experience it – and then have creeps of every kind trying to figure out if you accidentally remembered it when you didn’t die, without PROMPTING you to remember it, and then doing something about it anyway.
Trust me – “Wolf” ain’t the cleaner. He was the thing to clean up.

Like I said, I have not even read the book yet, and the REVIEWS are confirming everything I suspected – and MORE. Just knowing from these reviews that the REAL story of Sidney Gottlieb was MIND CONTROL and what we would otherwise call TELEPATHY – not mere LSD – fills in all kinds of blanks in the REAL story of MK ULTRA – how it was a phenomenal success that got us caught up to Soviet brainwashing, and even got us a scientific foothold in terms of understanding the mental programming sciences of the EBEs.
NOW – what do we do about dealing with the FACTS of MK ULTRA technology?

Let’s begin by looking at my replies further down the thread under Posobiec’s tweet.
You will notice that these tweets got NO engagement – or at least they don’t show any. However, there is a BUG in Twitter’s code, on their deceptive fake numbers of likes and replies, which gives away the fact that they had to clamp down here, and a wee bit of information on HOW. Too bad I was a software developer when I found my hidey-hole in FAKE SCIENCE. I learned what honest I.T. looks like, because I did it, so I can always spot the other kind.
Most people have not actually HAD different kinds of spies and informants around them, but – very weirdly – there are places where you find a LOT of such people. Certain parts of FAKE SCIENCE are indeed such places.
Spying is really a lot like the old “Turing test”, only differently directed in what is being ASKED and TOLD. The thing is, just like “FISA works both ways”, the Turing test works both ways. Normally, in the Turing test, the PERSON tries to figure out if the thing on the other side of the divider is HUMAN or MACHINE. In spying, the SPY tries to figure out if the person on the other side of the divider knows something, what that something is, and whether it’s true or not.
The trouble is, the PERSON and the SPY always give up a lot of information, looking for whatever it is they are looking for, or sparking whatever FIRE they’re trying to set. So if the thing on the other side of the divider is ME – it’s going to ask stupid questions like:
“What is this person or spy trying to do here?”
“What information are they trying to get?”
“What ideas are they trying to plant in my head?”
“What is the PURPOSE of what they are doing?”
Now – I’ve dealt with a variety of informants and spies over my lifetime – many of which were really good. Some of them know I know they are what they are, or at least suspect it. That’s part of the game, too. I hate to say this, but in real life, it was easier for me to have informants and spies, than it was to have real friends. And the fact is, in this world, regular people turn into informants and spies pretty fast when they’re told various lies. It’s just the way things are. SO – to be quite honest – I don’t mind having informants and spies instead of what might be called “friends for no reason”.
Spies and informants are generally very interesting people. Read some books about real spies and you’ll see. They lead weirdly normal but weirdly interesting lives. They’re like professional gossips, snoops, actors and bullshitters for a cause. Everybody should know at least one or two such people, in my opinion. If you know five people who seem kinda like they might be spies, then you almost certainly know at least two. One MAY be a person you suspect. The other will definitely be somebody completely unexpected.
So anyway, one of my informants/spies was really quite good. BUT – because they were asked to get or plant SO MUCH information for SO LONG – well – they gave up a lot of information.
Whoever was coming up with the biggest laundry list of things being looked for was sure worried about Trump, so we’re definitely talking Deep State, for starters. But that was at the tail end of things. See what I’m saying there? You’re probably getting ideas on WHO was asking the questions already. BUT – that will be your call. I have no idea, ultimately. False attribution is very important to these people. So it’s all PROBABILITIES. Nothing is CERTAIN. You have to ASSUME YOU ARE POSSIBLY BEING FOOLED.
One of the things I found most intriguing was that they seemed interested in not just me, but OTHER PEOPLE. Among those other people, there seemed to be one particular group that I also fell into. And if I could characterize that group as anything, it would be potentially believable as mass shooters. Not necessarily potential mass shooters, which is a different thing, but people who others would say “yup – I can see it“, after the fact.
This was obviously a very disturbing realization.
Not only that, but they seemed to:
want me on the list
want me to do, say, or think things that would in actuality “deepen me” on the list
want information that would justify me being on the list
Now – they were ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE for me to say “the N word” to this guy on the phone. They would engage in a lot of very fake talk to try to draw me into using it, which really blew their credibility, but – like I said – they were DESPERATE.
The fact is, when I was a kid, I almost never used the term, but I did once, repeating what somebody had said about my clothes, and a black friend of my mom overheard it. Trust me – I was “learned” not to use the term by what followed. Although when a black guy stole my wedding ring, I did call him that – among many much worse things.
Anyway, they just tried to get me to SAY CERTAIN THINGS, and it was really pretty pathetic. They were definitely looking for any angle to discredit me. They would just work to wear me down on the phone – trying to call late to make sure I was tired – the calls coming like clockwork – multiples of half an hour – you know what I’m saying. It wasn’t about getting the truth. It was about getting what they needed or wanted. But I played along. It was kinda fun. I mean, under Obama, where was I to turn? Who could I go to? Just RIDE THIS SHIT OUT.
They wanted me to be crazy, racist, or violent – OR – and this was weird – to redeem myself in some way by being/becoming/admitting/re-envisioning myself as gay, trans or progressive.
In short, they wanted me to be politically USEFUL from a leftist standpoint – either one way or the other.
There were many attempts to influence as well. Some traps. And a couple of MK trigger tests (that will take forever to explain – not now). But – to be honest – THIS ONE was not nearly as dangerous as some of the other people I dealt with over my life. However, the “shooter background preparation” stuff – that was a bit freaky, and stayed with me.
And THIS. We need to talk about the “others on the list”.
One of the other people who was “on the shooter list” – that mark was definitely NOT WISE to the informant. The mark got very weirded out and flamed out in a dramatic way. What was very interesting THERE was that the person was vociferously pro-2A but ON THE LEFT. At one time, they had a lot of positive reputation, and a lot of influence, but they began a long downward slide. So the complete and utter 2A discreditation of this person – exactly what happened – seemed very “their agenda” if you ask me. There was some China involvement on that one, too, but it’s messy. VERY messy. China sneaking in is not a simple thing. It’s complicated. Good China – even anti-China – will drag in bad China. For some things, the only Safe China is No China. So there was China on it.
And another person on the list also went nutso and even became a THREAT to the informant. I think that person subconsciously knew they were being messed with through information from the informant, but was swinging at air trying to fight off the craziness that was dogging them. It’s a very sad thing to watch people being driven crazy, who both don’t know where it’s coming from, and don’t know how to fight back.
It would be very plausible to just pass these two people off as normal crazies who were being WATCHED by an informant FOR the FBI, but in my opinion they were being MESSED WITH. I was WISE to being messed with – and that’s why I skated through their attempted manipulations.
SO – with all that in mind as my background, let’s talk about Red Flag Poster Boy.

Otherwise, this is an important step in grasping the problem of “maintaining relevance by set-ups” which has plagued the FBI. What kind of creepy people do THAT?

Eventually, it had to come out.
I – notorious anticommunist Wolf Moon – was a communist SHILL as a youth.
Of course, I didn’t realize at the time that I was shilling for communism, and perhaps other things, both good and bad, but that doesn’t matter. I was doing it all the same. OH – and my parents were so proud of me!

REALIZATION
It was the Parkland psychological operation which woke me up from the blissful state of having rather intentionally forgotten my “useful idiot” junior high school past. I don’t remember exactly how long after the communist-orchestrated shooting of *17* children…..
…. it was, that David Hogg appeared, but it was at the moment when Hogg disrespectfully attacked the NRA that I was psychologically shocked into REMEMBERING all things connected to CHILDREN lecturing ADULTS.
I remembered that movie about the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia – The Killing Fields – and the horrifying moments therein, as children were used as informants, enforcers, and executioners against adults.
I remembered personally-told tales from Hitler’s Germany – how children were used as spies of the National Socialist state against everybody – even their own families.
And THEN – right then – is when I remembered MYSELF lecturing adults. I remembered their faces. I remember their STARING BACK AT ME. And I remember SOME of those faces showing a kind of OUTRAGE – an outrage which I myself now felt, in horrible realization that the TABLES OF IDEOLOGICAL IMPOSITION HAD TURNED, but it was the SAME WICKED HAND doing the turning.
THERE, but for the grace of God, went I.
NOW, by the grace of God, I understood.

This is a great post that shows kids used by leftist teachers for propaganda. I was used for "Earth Day" and "save the planet" propaganda in the late 60's. Words put in my mouth, love-bombing – it all seems so phony and cringeworthy now. FAKE!

The Parkland psychological operation largely BACKFIRED, beginning with the fact that the “conspiracy theory” of a STAND-DOWN was pushed forward until PROVEN TRUE. This was key. Once we showed that the shooting was very likely some kind of “allowed event”, there were GROUNDS to believe that it truly was some form of STAGED PROPAGANDA.

Eric Holder’s devious “Promise Programs” – which I likened to “propaganda farms” – were closed. Multiple forms of FBI political malfeasance and likely intentional negligence were exposed. The communist Runcie brothers were outed, along with the Ivy League KGB-CIA crypto-communist on-campus recruitment programs which had created them. This was a HUGE BREAK – the recognition of KGB-wing CIA malfeasance on American campuses – particularly our best ones, like Stanford and Harvard. While communist SHILLS protested eye-rolling, fake CIA “recruitment sessions” as STAGED OPS, deep recruitment of the best and the brightest to RULE OVER US was taking place every day on those same campuses, and had been for DECADES.
Most of all, for me, a “black swan” of sorts came out of Parkland. It was an understanding of an old scandal ALMOST NOBODY KNEW ABOUT, but which affected EVERYBODY.
And trust me – the white hats “have it all”.
Through what was probably a misinterpreted Q post, I looked closer at the idea that the subsequent fatal FIU bridge collapse was some kind of payback and leverage on Florida Republicans, for having dared to mess with the wrong people in Parkland.
It was a brilliantly RIGHT IDEA, but I got it from what was most likely a WRONG IDEA about a Q post.
When the FIU bridge collapse happened on the IDES OF MARCH, 2018 – undoubtedly (IMO) some kind of orchestrated sabotage accident to pressure and intimidate Florida Republicans who were pushing too hard on Parkland – particularly the stand-down – I remembered Q’s mysterious post from February 24, number 827.
“The BRIDGE” most likely refers to OBAMA, but I didn’t know that at the time. The whole post is very cryptic, and likely had a very different meaning than where my mind went. But my mind went exactly where it needed to go. SO BEAUTIFUL. The “error as discovery” idea on full display.
Stanislav Lunev is an extremely important Soviet defector who told us about plans for sabotage INSIDE THE UNITED STATES. You see, that idea of a university accident as leverage popped into my mind as a NEAR PARALLEL of a memory, where historically important but apparently unrelated legal leverage “just happened coincidentally” as the apparent BYPRODUCT of a university accident.
It was a “coincidence” which made somebody’s huge problem “just go away”.
Well, what if it didn’t “just happen”?
What if “preservation of a future windfall of trillions of tax dollars” wasn’t just a silly byproduct of that university accident, but the actual driving PURPOSE?
And then it ALL SOLVED. One of the most beautiful scams ever pulled, almost 40 years ago. TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS and THE OBAMA PRESIDENCY rested on that scam. And I had no idea. None. I was at the EYE of that HURRICANE and never realized it.
I thought it was all about me. Oh, I was the PERFECT CHUMP for that scam.
People were USED like plastic toy soldiers, melted with a torch, to make sure history happened a certain way. Funny. And sad. But THAT is who we are dealing with.
And I would be remiss not to mention that this hurricane was related, in a strange way, to 9/11.

Part of the SCAM here is misdirection. We argue about the CHILD SHILL PATINA instead of the CORE PROBLEM of the fraudulent hoax. A hoax which these children invariably BELIEVE, but do not actually understand with anything approaching even beginner wisdom.
And WHAT a hoax it was, in St. Greta’s case. With the collapse of Michael Mann, refusing to show his BAD DATA, the world of lay truth-seekers now sees what we silenced scientists knew all along. AGW always was and remains a weirdly weaponizable “reverse-logic” scientific error, supported by the top-dog leftist scientific establishment which loved the control it implied, and which the globalist bureaucrats who fund them could and would give them. The ERROR was then brazened out by the small set of scientists needed to uphold it as valid (at least one of whom was murdered, BTW), with the encouragement of a rapidly growing FAKE GLOBAL ECONOMY that everybody from churches to China wanted to build on it.
Good LORD, what a scam. But THAT is how REAL conspiracies work. Everybody is in it for themselves, everybody deceives everybody else, and it works AUTOMATICALLY toward a common goal that a completely shielded party desires.
Think about it. Fake “global warming” and its successor “climate change” are – alone or together – quite possibly the GREATEST scientific hoaxes in MAN’S HISTORY. You can quibble about “hoax” without knowing origination, but you certainly can’t quibble about “pathological science” once you understand the process that absolutely upended normal science with POLITICS.
People will be talking about this for THOUSANDS – quite possibly MILLIONS of years.
However, it gets worse.
Originally, I suspected that the bizarre scientific proposals being offered to alleviate “climate change” – things like the chemical equivalent of throwing volcano dust into the atmosphere to cool the planet – were just academic bullshit. I assumed that these radical “geoengineering” offerings were just ridiculous byproducts of the hoax itself. I assumed that these scientists were just “acting out” – vying to be the most politically correct and scientifically radical of the bunch, for some kind of virtue signal attention other than cutting off their own dicks and breasts, or those of their own children.
But I may have been wrong.
What if these weird and radical ideas about changing the planet are actually the POINT of the hoax? What if the whole hoax was intended to GIN UP certain terra-re-forming mass processes that will undoubtedly WIN APPROVAL from the bevy of insane proposals?
I am now wondering if these “Earth-changing” ideas were in fact the GOAL of the hoax.

IMO (speaking as a "child advocate" for Earth Day in 1969-1970) she is fighting to "emote properly" per her conditioning, and as a child is having difficulty masking. You can see her *fighting off smiles* and trying to retain her "serious" look, for which she is rewarded.
Greta's look reminds me of Bill Clinton at Ron Brown's funeral, when he realized he was on camera, and was laughing with a friend. Laughter is a natural thing, but it had the wrong optics. Clinton quickly forced a serious, frowning, sad look, but it broke up similarly.

So let’s move on to the most interesting part now. My very own experience as a child shill for Earth Day.
WOLF MOON OF THE ECO-SHILLDREN
As a seventh grader – or sevvie, as we were called – I was small, geeky, and unattractive. I wasn’t even in the gifted program, because my sixth-grade teacher had failed to get the names of her smart kids loaded into the new computerized systems that fed all the accelerated programs.
Ironically, this failure hurt mostly WOMEN, because most of the sixth-grade teacher’s smart kids were GIRLS. Nevertheless, during sixth grade, all of us were trained in a special class about digital computers, and I like to think that ONE OF THOSE GIRLS is out there, somewhere, doing the RIGHT THING about artificial intelligence.
But in seventh grade, I was a NOBODY, until something happened.
I “overperformed” – massively – in a class book report project which had to be presented as a SPEECH.
Instead of stuttering, half-cheating, reading my cards, forgetting my place, and doing all the things everybody else did, I gave a television-worthy Carl Sagan / Ken Burns act.
I was a BORN SHILL.
I might as well have thrown away my cue cards. Nobody expected it – even me. But I was so over-practiced, and so INTO what I was talking about, that it turned into something like a MOVIE. The class was MESMERIZED.
When it was over, they sat in stunned silence for a moment – and then erupted in CHEERS.
After that, I got respect. I was “one of the smart kids”. Everybody wanted to know “what I got” when grade cards came out. The same kids who ran out of the classroom spreading gossip about my “amazing speech”, would spread the word about everything I did after that.
And THAT is how the trouble began.
Well, not exactly. I’m leaving out Hitler’s Germany, World War II, the aftermath of a nuclear explosion in New Mexico, flying saucers and the early computerization of Russian data in America. But you don’t need to know those parts for now.
My eight grade teacher was SO HOT.
SO hot.
Actually, she wasn’t particularly hot, by most people’s standards, but THE CRUSH does not obey movie-casting logic of what’s “hot” and what’s not.
Between 7th and 8th grade, my body had grown in an almost unimaginable way, and I was now almost a MAN. I gained almost 50 pounds, and was now one of the BIGGER kids. I wasn’t a jock, but I now had muscles, and they WORKED. My new body was perfect for gymnastics, and I could do amazing things I could not have dreamed of the year before.
Boys respected me. Girls acknowledged I was THERE.
I looked DOWN on the girls’ tits. That was NEW.
AND YET – I still looked like a kid overall. I still had that SIDESHOW quality of being “too smart” for my appearance.
I probably could have gotten a girlfriend, but my MIND ruled my body, and as far as I knew, I was still a GEEK and a LOSER, whose only saving grace was being SMART.
So when my teacher took an interest in me – that NONE of the girls did – well – I was more than happy to go along with her ideas.
I was in the CORE of puberty at this point. I spent every unproductive moment I could checking out all the girls, having crushes on half of them, and working hard to see the beauty in the rest.
I didn’t know it yet, but I had a GIFT from GOD – the ability to “figure out” how any woman was physically beautiful in one way or another, if only by some hidden symmetry. As soon as I would figure out how said girl was “hot”, she became my newest and greatest crush. It was a wondrous ability, and I thanked God for it when I finally understood. I felt a kind of secret gleeful pity for all the guys who could not see how amazing all these girls really were.
But my teacher. OH BOY. She had LEGS that thrilled even the picky boys. She was still young enough that she didn’t seem like a MOM. She seemed like something out of TELEVISION. Everything about her was YOUTHFUL, and yet – well – she was the same age as PLAYBOY BUNNIES. She kinda looked like one, too, only REAL.
And THAT is how it started.
There must have been some motivation – some offering, competition, or reward – behind SO MANY of our teachers getting on the Earth Day bandwagon. Whatever the reason, it became CENTRAL to most of our activities.
The GIRLS in our class loved it. The idea of CLEANING STUFF UP appealed to their inner selves in some way that I fully realize sounds “sexist” as hell today, but FUCK IT – we were kids, we were raised to be the way we were, and girls back then HATED DIRT AND TRASH. Anything connected to CLEANING was marketed to women, and nobody questioned it. The girls all wanted to be liberated super-mom brain surgeons, but they wanted to CLEAN SHIT UP, TOO.
The GIRLS were SUCKERS for Earth Day. They were on it immediately. And if you were a CAD LIKE ME who wanted IN, you needed to be for Earth Day, too. It was a VIRTUE SIGNAL PARTY.
So – the bottom line is that SEX was used to sell Earth Day, but the marketing was subtle. VERY subtle. The teacher sold the GIRLS on it, and the GIRLS sold the BOYS.
Now – what does my teacher do next? CLASS DEBATE on POLLUTION as an Earth Day topic. The question: Which is more dangerous to the planet – AIR POLLUTION or WATER POLLUTION?
Oh, I was ready for this one. Ready like a MARK. I don’t remember which team I was on, but I actually believed that the OTHER form of pollution was more dangerous. But it’s a trick question.
As Q would say, “Define dangerous.” It’s a LAWYER’S GAME, but a PSYCHOLOGIST’S TAKE.
LENIN’S BIRTHDAY WINS, no matter what. The PLANNED DEINDUSTRIALIZATION OF AMERICA, in preparation for sending that industry to CHINA, was about to begin.
AND I HELPED.
As you can imagine, my debate speech for “our side” won, and I was the star of the class. The finest FEAR-MONGERING my ingenious little mind could construct. Oh, I had these kids thinking they were gonna DIE tomorrow. I remember the smiles fading from their faces in horror.
Of course our side won. Are you kidding? These kids were now afraid to WALK HOME.
Scare Wolf had done his job.
In a kind of silently learned (see Greta Thunberg) faux magnanimity, I “admitted” that I really thought the other form of pollution was even MORE dangerous than the one I had so effectively argued, thus swooning ALL THE GIRLS, as the new Maple Castro of Eighth Grade, and uniting our class in baby communist solidarity that somebody better fix this shit now, because it was even more dangerous than I had PROVEN.
Yes, I was a slimy little sucker, but we’re talking GIRLS. Surely you understand! I know Bill Clinton would.
The next thing you know, the HOTTEST WOMAN ON THE PLANET, with the BEST LEGS IN THE UNIVERSE had even MORE plans for me. It was time to bring my extremely convincing speech to the ENTIRE SCHOOL. I would be giving my speech – with some modifications that she and I would work out in private sessions after school – to ALL THE HOT GIRLS WHO LOVED EARTH DAY.
I mean – how could I say no? It’s not like cultural Marxism wasn’t just a FEW YEARS from bringing such fantasies out into the open – and then, a few years later, making them a REALITY.
This was the beginning of an intoxicating – and clearly toxic – relationship. This was EXACTLY like those situations I would find myself in, years later, fighting off inappropriate relationships in the university or the workplace.
Or NOT fighting them off. Anybody who has ever met a boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance or spouse through an office romance knows exactly what I’m talking about.
Now – let me get things right out in the open, and not resort to cultural Marxist teasing to keep your attention.
I DID NOT HAVE SEX WITH THAT WOMAN.
But I would be lying if I didn’t admit to having ENDLESS fantasies about it.
This woman had me on a string, and I desperately wanted to be there. We literally RUINED EACH OTHER in a kind of virtual pedophilia.
She KNEW – she absolutely had to know – that I was utterly smitten with her. But – and this is key – she did not “disabuse me of any notions” while I was useful to the cause. She let it drag on, and she would have kept letting it drag on, had I not been SLAPPED to my senses by reality.
It was when her HUSBAND showed up unannounced, at the same time as one of our little after-school planning sessions, that I WOKE THE HELL UP. This guy was a REAL MAN. No – more. He was a MENSCH. I was a kid. The whole thing was RIDICULOUS. My “psychological erection” vanished.
At the time, I didn’t interpret things properly. I thought that maybe she brought him there to “cool me off”. Now, I tend to believe that her husband was starting to wonder about things, given that her plans began to involve nighttime events without him. There WERE adult male teachers at the school. They weren’t stupid, either. If there was anybody naive in the mix, it was probably ME.
OR it could have been even weirder. The teacher’s husband may have understood his broken wife’s need for male attention, and realized that she was getting sucked into an inappropriate relationship that needed intervention. Maybe she was playing games, because the guy was clearly a keeper, and was apparently spending time away from HER. Whatever it was, he showed up, and my stint as a childhood eco-shill Romeo stumbled to an embarrassing end.
Now all of that is getting a bit ahead of the story, but I wanted you to understand not only the SEXUAL COMPONENT of my time as a child eco-shill, but also the weird way that pedophilia simply DOGS leftism. I tend to think now that it’s important – that SEX is a key motivator in all these leftist temptations and manipulations.
Animals. They use us like ANIMALS.
Back to the school speech. This is where I was introduced to the beginnings of politics and intellectual compromise. Teachers inevitably LEAD students by encouraging some things, discouraging other things, and even suggesting still others. This is understandable. However, in preparing THIS speech, the level of insertions, suggestions, and modifications made me feel significantly less “pride of ownership” than I had in – for example – my amazing seventh grade speech.
Even my class debate speech, filled with other people’s ideas, at least had been arranged by me in a way that felt “all mine” as some kind of composer and conductor.
I was already feeling uneasy that this wasn’t really my speech any more. But there was one line that REALLY BOTHERED ME.
There was one point of argument that I simply did not want to make. It involved trophy fishing. I did not know if it was relevant, important, or even TRUE. It sounded a bit like propaganda to me. It sounded GREAT, but it sounded like it could be easily called out. I knew a bit about the subject – not enough to call it out myself, but enough to think it might very well be hokey.
My inner fact-checker was dubious. FUTURE WOLF WAS SHOWING UP.
The teacher was really attached to it. It made her smile. And I was really attached to her. I liked to see her smile.
OH, WHAT THE HELL.
I could slip it past the kids, but not necessarily certain adults. However, this speech was just for kids and teachers who also loved Earth Day. So IN IT WENT, and I figured it was fine.
The speech went really well. NOT AS WELL as my “authentic” speeches, but this speech was IMPORTANT, and I told myself that it was OK that people weren’t as enthusiastic.
There was a part of me that wanted to admit the truth – that I was both compromising principles and seeing the result of that compromise – but this clashed with my inappropriate adoration of my teacher, so I stuffed that thought back where it would not bother me.
Based on this success, the teacher wanted me to give the speech to several community groups. This was now “beyond extra credit”. This meant more speech preparations outside class hours, and some evenings out.
I avoided even thinking about this stuff for years. What little I do remember is easily described as cringeworthy.
I only remember one speech in significant detail – the one I mentioned at the beginning. To me, that night represented a confluence of good and evils – all wrapped in the uncertainty of which was which.
I was very nervous about the speech. I did NOT like that one line. To me it felt like I was professing knowledge I did not have. It was, in my opinion, the WEAK POINT of the whole speech. The problem – my teacher was insistent that we keep it. Her reasoning was purely political, and a classic example of left-wing presumptions. She reasoned that the audience contained “rich businessmen” who would be influenced by the point, because – if true – it might impact them personally – not professionally. It was important to influence them. Perhaps, but what I was saying was not something that I could state with any authority or true knowledge. It violated some inner standard that demanded a higher burden of familiarity. Among fishermen – and more particularly fishers of men, it was the kind of bullshit I hated. I could not say it authentically. Worse still, I wasn’t even sure it was TRUE.
It’s funny, but had I KNOWN LESS, it would have been easier to speak the line. But in KNOWING, I had a responsibility toward the TRUTH.
Her insistence bordered on getting annoyed with me. For some reason, this HAD to stay in. PERIOD. So I relented.
The speech went well – outwardly. A few nodded as I gave it. Nobody booed. Everybody clapped at the end. Nobody had any serious questions for me – at least that I can remember. I think I remember being happy about that. The teacher was definitely happy about it. That part made me happy.
However, several things simply BOTHERED me. I could just FEEL that something was WRONG. The fact that there were no questions made me realize that it was probably because I was a KID. Something seemed very wrong about that. It wasn’t FAIR to give a speech where KIDS could argue back, but ADULTS felt they could not. And some of the people RESENTED me. I could FEEL IT. I could SEE IT in their faces. Their FACES HAUNTED ME.
WHY? WHY did they resent me?
It would be YEARS before I truly understood. Even more, before I admitted WHY the whole thing made me uncomfortable.
In the end, I was very happy that the teacher’s husband showed up. We never did the “last” speech. His appearance RESCUED me from what began as infatuation, and ended as disillusionment. I returned to a respectful relationship with my teacher. I think she must have “snapped out of it”, too. However, there was a twist ending.
Something happened to her. She disappeared from the junior high, but showed up later teaching at a nearby high school. Her personality was completely different. She was like a different person. She even LOOKED different. Others noticed the difference, too. She never even acknowledged my presence. It was like she had completely forgotten about me – or wanted to forget.
I was glad, and let it be. I had enough problems – new problems – in high school. And thankfully, many of them involved girls of my own age, or slightly younger. I was finally growing up normally.
EPILOGUE
I’ll be very blunt. Kids should not be used for politics. Nobody will ever convince me that it’s a good thing for kids to get involved in politics.
Observing? Learning? Maybe. And that’s a very weak “maybe”.
Learning ABOUT government and politics has its uses.
Otherwise, keep politics OUT.
The student-teacher relationship strikes me as a sacred thing, just like the doctor-patient relationship. Politics can do nothing but corrupt it.
Now – about global warming.
SOMETHING is very, very, very wrong here.
If I have to take TWO changes to the planet’s atmosphere…
(1) one that is actually evolutionarily forseeable – the eventual burning of fossil fuels, appearing in every graph I can see as a kind of CARBON SALVATION that extends human habitation and even LIFE ITSELF, and
(2) one that is untried, untested, is even more shockingly is based on radical ANTI-LIFE principles learned from EXTINCTION EVENTS in Earth’s history,
then the CONSERVATIVE solution is to go with the natural, evolutionarily forseeable change – NOT the “cold-death extinction chemistry” being suggested by SHILLS, MONEY-GRUBBERS, FAKE POPES, COMMUNISTS, and used-car-sales types who say “we gotta do something completely ridiculous NOW”.
I mean, just RE-READ what I wrote there.
This “climate change” as an excuse to TERRAFORM EARTH is BULLSHIT and you know it.

We ship big and heavy things all around the world. A brief explanation about how the process happens, and hints about how to throw a kink in the works, might be helpful since we’re all talking so much about international trade.
When we first started shipping, I was a clueless bump on a log. I wanted to buy marble and glass tiles for our swimming pool/outdoor kitchen without paying retail…….. and that’s how my little company started. We knew what we wanted, but the tiles were $112,000 (BEFORE installation), which was crazy and would never happen. By the time we were in business, the tile ended up costing about 7K, and we saved 4K on the marcite finishing. Not bad, eh?
Yet, I had no idea where to begin. I approached the Small Biz Administration – don’t waste your time. They sent me to the FBI, for background and licensing to import/export. Therefore, I went through a vigorous background check with FBI but it was unnecessary….. because I was only importing, and sometimes, I only moved items between other countries (never touching USA soil). Finally, I called Maersk and wanted a shipping contract. Fortunately, I got a hold of David, who was forced to stifle his laughter and took me to school on shipping….. Should have called David, first.
In a math equation, we can solve for an unknown variable rather easily. For a shipping contract with Maersk, I had no idea how many containers I would import, no idea which countries they would go to, or come from, not even one specific city within the USA (different clients, different cities). For instance, a steady route from Hamburg, Germany, to Charleston, SC, twice a month, is a steady and easy calculation for a price. But I was way too erratic, Spain to Pakistan, Egypt to Los Angeles, Chennai to Montreal, and China to Minnesota. The best choice for me was to allow people on the OTHER side make arrangements and Maersk would act as my customs house for clearance of Docs and Fees.
Didn’t like giving up control, but I had no choice. That’s when shipping became very interesting. To clear a container into the USA (most countries), a series of documents are required.
A. Commercial Invoice – what I paid for each item, quantity of each item, and weight.
B. Certificate of Origin – which country the material came from (China, even if the material was originally mined in Iran/India/Brazil)
C. Fumigation Certificate – More important than one can possible imagine. No weird bugs or seed pods allowed into the USA.
D. Bill of Lading or the Exporter’s Customs Declaration – What the OTHER side claims they are shipping and indicates ownership of the goods.
E. Optional, Certificate of Insurance. I always buy it.
When the factory is finished with goods, they tell me about it, and they deliver the goods in a container to the export zone, awaiting loading onto a ship. I make the purchase FOB (Freight on Board), which is safe for both parties. It means the Chinese company cannot keep the freight (because it’s on a ship), and I have to pay for the freight, otherwise the Chinese company will not give me the documents to clear the container in the USA.
All the doc’s have to match, and when the container arrives in the USA, we pay appropriate customs duty. The container is cleared and a turned over to a freight shipper (either on rail or truck) to a larger metro area. If shipped by rail to Memphis (my closest metro), I have a choice to clear customs in Memphis. The container is unloaded from rail, giving to a truck, and delivered to me. Four hours maximum to unload, and the container goes back to the terminal. Rinse and repeat.
Shipping can be booked and paid for on the foreign side (which is best) or sent “collect” to the USA – strangely most USA companies ship “collect”, because they get the time lag on the money for payment of shipping expenses. About 2/3 of the containers Kohler ships are shipped collect. It makes no sense. We book shipping on the foreign side because paying for it on the other side guaranteed space, let me ship faster, and the whole thing was cheaper. Think about how much a collect call used to cost more than a regular call, it’s the same with shipping.
Shipping certificates can alo be purchased, which means I would guarantee 10/20/100 containers per month/yr from point A to point B, and gives us a better price. Shipping companies like the customers who buy certificates because it helps them plan better. Think about it. Delta Airlines would give Haliburton a discount if Delta KNEW 50 seats would be taken every Sunday night from Dallas to DC, and to return every Friday afternoon back to Dallas. Arrangements like these help companies plan their ships and airlines to make commerce easier. And yes, the guy who shows up at a Delta Airline ticket counter, last minute, paying cash, is charged a higher rate.
All kinds of containers can be “booked”. Containers can be 20′, 40′ long, closed top or open top, refrigerated…… or a whole ship can be booked for large blocks of stone placed on a cargo deck, or an oil tanker or liquids tanker can be rented quite easily. Twice in my life, I’ve had OPEC oil contracts cross my desk. Pretty wild for a lil’ girl from Mississippi. Minimum buy in was about 7 million dollars a month. No thanks. Here’s where the hiccups happen and how the customs process of clearing a container can be misused and/or work to the benefit of a particular country.
Example #1. – When I shipped a sample to China from the USA, I would ship it via DHL or FEDEX. If China’s customs did not like the idea of an American shipping a sample, it would take 6 weeks for my “mail” to clear. Imagine an American President ordering FedEx, UPS, USPS, to examine every package from China for fentanyl….. and imagine what that would do to commerce from China…… yeah, imagine that one……
Example #2. If I send a piece of marble, 12″x12″x3/4″ thick to China for matching, it costs me about $270, via USPS. If China sends the same item to me, it costs them about $40 (same imbalance from India by the way). I understand this is because of China’s advantage in designation as a “developing country”, with WTO. It means our post office is subsidizing the extra costs. No specific source confirmation, but it’s common knowledge in our industry. It REALLY makes American biz owners angry. At one point, sample shipping was about 12% of my total expenses. The imbalance hurt our little company.
Example #3. When I was the new guy on the block, every container I had was “removed for exam”. An X-Ray exam meant my little container was culled from the process and went to another building to be X-Rayed. Cost to me was about $250 and took another 3-7 days, typically, depending on how busy the port was. Now, imagine a US President who orders inspections for all Chinese containers, or higher penalties for docs which don’t quite match up…. imagine how long the line would become at the X-Ray machine…… yeah, we can see it now.
Example #4. I had one container in 15yrs which was culled from the line for an “invasive exam”. It happened to be a container of my own. Thank the heavens, it was not for a client. This meant US Customs officials cracked the seal on my container, opened it up, removed the items, and checked it all. The process was infuriating. I had installers, crews working, waiting on delivery. The cost to my business was horrible. Our generous schedule was “torn asunder.” It took about 3-4 weeks extra, and ruined about $5K worth of goods (which had to be replaced) because of all the shifting and repacking. Imagine if a US President ordered a thorough exam for every container from China……. yeah, the waiting line would become very, very, very, long…… and American companies would deem goods from China as unreliable.
Example #5. Over the years, we developed a reputation as problem solvers for other companies, especially when it came to shipping. One guy called me with the following story. He shipped a container of specially cut granite for 69 individual customer’s kitchens (imagine 69 people calling him to complain about the delays), but the container was stopped in Seattle because a “moth cocoon” was found, allegedly with larvae inside. Customs wasn’t sure about the cocoon and had to “send it out” for testing. The container was moved to quarantine and sat there for 3 months, accruing daily charges. The “moth cocoon” was preserved, while buyer and seller argued over charges. Eventually, the whole container was sent back to China, where it sat in their customs yard for another 3 months, because no one wanted to pay the $78K of Daily Customs charges to legally clear the container.
Until the owner of the company resolved the dispute, he was banned from importing. That’s when I got the phone call for help. I called Seattle and, long story short, it was not a moth cocoon. The shipper wanted to save the $400 fee to fumigate a container and said they packed everything in styrofoam. Well, we all know, stone is usually shipped with treated wood, in pallets, so it raised the eye of the local Customs guy in Seattle. He ordered the container opened and found what he “thought” was a bug, which was not a bug at all. We also coordinated on the China side, sent my guy to negotiate release of the container, charges were only about $12K, and container shipped back to USA. Eventually, the 69 people in Ohio got their new kitchens, ….. about nine months later.
Now, imagine if all containers were opened and questioned for bugs, moth cocoons, or maybe…. fentanyl residue, etc. Can you imagine the logistics nightmare, containers stacking up, which would develop? It would be sooooo easy to do……..
Example #6. The longshoremen on the west coast went on strike. It was horrible and cost the US economy about 42BILLION dollars. Ships waited offshore, unable to dock, and had to be continuously refueled. God only knows what happened to containers filled with produce, meat, or grains. The longshoreman have the ability to slow-walk or quick-process as they choose. Yeah…. it would be easy to clog China’s pipeline.
Example #7. I’ve received many phone calls from quarry owners in Turkey, all over the Middle East, Africa, who beg me to help them. The Chinese are at their doorstep, knocking. Because of preconceived notions, they think I am the wealthy American (Dallas soap opera reruns), who can save them. The Chinese leave them penniless and ruin their land. It’s very sad.
Example #8. My head guy in India is actually from Sri Lanka. We worked on the flooring for the Colombo airport expansion together. Today, radical Muslims and the Chinese are targeting the port of Colombo, as a new version of Singapore’s mega port. Transshipment mega-ports are incredibly important throughout the world. The 94yr old “King” in Singapore told China to screw off on a 20 billion dollar expansion, so China has turned their attention to Sri Lanka. And in this way, China surrounds India. Not cool.
Example #9. When the USA calls – things move. It’s true. Forget the media and how much they hate the USA, when someone calls from the USA – shit starts to happen FAST. Hey, I was surprised, too, but it’s true. The USA is still, very much, “Big Daddy”. Strange Tidbits Learned Along The Way
You know that “new clothes smell” when you buy something new from a nice department store? Yeah, it’s the smell of fumigation = pesticides. It’s not enough to kill you, but you might want to make sure to wash baby items, new sheets, and sweaters before wearing them.
The EPA effectively killed marble granite production and mining in the USA. For 15yrs, clients and I have pounded vodka/beers/bourbon, trying to figure out how to bring the industry home. Take a guess how we all voted in 2016?
Allother countries already know about China aggressive attitude and all other countries have already taken steps to counteract China and protect their own manufacturing. IRAN has a 40% tariff against China. Brazil has a 35% tariff against ANY foreign manufacturing – 18% goes to the Federal gov’t and pays their version of social security and 17% goes to the states to pay for municipal expenses, like police. Turkey has an 18% tariff against all good manufactured in China. Surprised???? Yet, America is supposed to be the bad guy?
President Trump is absolutely correct about trade imbalances and LACK of our manufactured goods being allowed into other countries. If I ship a DeWalt saw blade to Brazil, it cost me about $60 here. By the time my guy got it in Brazil, it cost about $100. Yet, for me to import a whole container from Brazil, about $20K, I only paid 3.9% customs duty. Our trade deal with Brazil is NOT reciprocal…. and you know how many people have Brazilian granite in their kitchens????
Raiding natural resources. China was paying for blocks of tea rose marble to be mined illegally from a UNESCO site in the Philippines. The land adjoining the UNESCO site was gifted to a friend of Ferdinand Marcos (remember Imelda and her shoes?). The “friend” turned up dead, killed by locals, with his hands and penis cut off. He was buried and dug up AGAIN, and propped up against his grave. That was a wild few months but point being…….. China doesn’t give a damn about natural resources or environmental protections.
In another example, similar to #4, an Egyptian quarry owner became a good friend. He had 9 quarries, and even named a new one for my son. Hani and his family had a processing facility with Italian machinery, accepted for export specifications in Europe. Over the years, we endlessly discussed China raiding Egyptian quarries, and Egypt NOT taxing the Chinese when they took blocks out of Egypt (both Turkey and Iran tax China for removing natural stone BLOCKS). The people of Egypt needed the money and food, it was during the Arab uprising. AND via Chinese gov’t subsidies, Chinese factories were able to process and sell Egyptian stone cheaper than Egyptian manufacturers. Sound familiar?
Wait ’til you hear this one, though. Hani loved the USA and we talked all the time. He especially loved American muscle cars. On one order for me, he did a particularly good job and I wanted to send him a thank you gift. Hani was ready with a list of desired American products. He wanted 8 pairs of Levi jeans, American t-shirts, American leather belts, and a Texas Cowboy hat. I laughed but understood. I bought all the items and sent them to Hani —- it cost him $800+USD to clear customs in Egypt. Again, bad trade policy between the USA and Egypt —– it’s insane. Special Topic, Trade with Italy and France, and to some extent, Germany and the UK. More than anything, the Italians and the French infuriate me in our industry. The Italians and the French operate as the pimp, to the beautiful whore we will call Iran. The country of Iran is rich is natural resources, oil and marbles, onyx, carved fireplaces and columns, beautiful things. The 1979 USA Embargo was a big fat Christmas present to the Europeans. The Europeans did not stop doing biz with Iran, only we did. We embargoed everything from Iran, save caviar and Persian rugs, so the Europeans became the middle men to the USA market.
Two generations of Americans have been paying the middlemen in Europe. MAJOR, big-time Cold Anger. I can’t stand them, the middlemen.
Every day I see marble, granite and super-fine Onyx shipped from Iran to Italy and France (to some extent China). The Italians and French cut it, polish it, and sell it to the Americans for obscene prices. The French and the Italians WANT the USA to fight with Iran. They make a fortune. Truth is, the best carvers are in Iran…. and let’s just say…. OSHA is not supervising the job site.
To a significant extent, the German economy was BUILT with an advantage in industrial manufacturing because the American manufacturers were prohibited from doing business in Iran……. which explains why the Germans, French, Italians, and the UK are screaming about NOT being able to do biz in Iran. Makes more sense now, doesn’t it?
When we think of Italian marble, we probably think of white Careera marbles. Yet, very few marbles actually originate (are mined) in Italy. For instance, I have a list of 89 different white marbles sold from Italy. Yet only 6 of them are different grades mined in Italy. The rest are imported as blocks from all over the world to La Spezia (mostly) and cut/shaped/manufactured in Italy….. then, resold. Yet, as China progresses, they have significantly threatened this industry in Italy.
It’s in the best interest of France/Italy/Germany (and minor player UK) to keep the USA and Iran fighting with each other. We should never forget it. And if lil’ ole me in Mississippi understands the problem, we can bet, for sure, President Trump REALLY understands the problem.
The problem of imbalanced trade is personal, frustrating, and makes no sense at all. The stupidity makes me want to throw things. Weekly, we see the unfairness on the ground, in our battlefield trenches, and make no mistake, it’s a battle royale. It make my eyes narrow, and the cold anger, oh yeah, we all feel cold anger down to our toenails.
I’ve often joked (not really joking), 12 of my girlfriends could strike better trade deals for the USA. To someone like lil’ ole me, a man like Lighthizer, let alone President Trump, are our country’s heroes. Finally, we are fighting for fairness on a world stage. And when we get the money worked out, we can afford to be generous, domestically.
To a man like President Trump, who has far greater experience in arena of international trade, we can bet it’s quite personal for him. He’s been looking to settle this score for decades. And now, he’s settling the score for ALL OF US.

Prime Minister Abe and President Trump took center stage this afternoon to announce an “Agreement in Principle” on the trade deal between Japan and the USA. The media actually complained because it was “sudden” and they didn’t have time to get situated. SMH, the media thinks they are more important than the leaders.
Formal signing of a JUSA expected to occur at the UN General Assembly at the end of September. Trade Ambassador Lighthizer looked happy. Apparently, the deal is very good news for our farmers and involves industrial equipment importation (keeping in place auto tariffs), and a further agreement on E-commerce.
The African Delegation, Modi from India, Al Sisi from Egypt, and the addition of others was interesting but we’re left wondering….. why are they there? This isn’t the United Nations. It’s not the G20. What is Macron doing? Check out Abe’s face. Abe seems to always know exactly what is going on. He’s a good leader.

This past afternoon I was thinking about what I am going to do for those Sundays coming up when I will be traveling and not able to compose the usual on-the-spot posts that often happen pretty close to the beginning of Sunday (but sometimes arriving a tad bit late to our WQ Tree House).
I thought about an excellent fictional book series that I believe carries many important messages for us in the time we are living in. There’s a good number of books in the series. I could have covered a book per Sunday. But that just didn’t quite fit right.
What to do?
I thought about Psalm 119. Another good basis for a series.
But, no, still not it.
And then I recalled how strongly Candace and Steve’s conversation about the leftist media being cowards struck me yesterday. So there’s that.
Maybe a series based on the qualities of a Patriot? We shall see. But for today, we will ponder the quality of Steadfast Fortitude or Courage.
In church tradition, fortitude is often used when reflecting on the character of the martyrs. Fortitude is closely related to faithfulness, a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
FAITHFULNESS (πίστις)
“God is faithful” (1 Cor. 1:9. cf. Rom. 3:3), not as having faith, but as being constant (cf. 1 Cor. 10:13), trustworthy (cf. 2 Cor. 1:18). It is a divine quality. The martyrs were “faithful unto death” (Rev. 2:10), not vacillating at the face of bodily harm and suffering, imitating thus their Lord “Jesus Christ the faithful martyr” (Rev. 1:5. cf. 3:14).
In lieu of an example from the life of a Saint, we quote the following lines from the Wisdom of Solomon, read in the Vespers service for Martyrs:
“The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment will ever touch them. In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be a disaster, and their going from us to be their destruction; but they are at peace.
For though in the sight of others they were punished, their hope is full of immortality. Having been disciplined a little, they will receive great good, because God tested them and found them worthy of Himself; like gold in the furnace He tried them, and like a sacrificial burnt offering He accepted them.
In the time of their visitation they will shine forth, and will run like sparks through the stubble. They will govern nations and rule over peoples, and the Lord will reign over them forever.
Those who trust in Him will understand truth, and the faithful will abide with Him in love, because grace and mercy are upon His holy ones, and He watches over His elect” (Wis. of Sol. 3:1-9).
An important component to fortitude seems to be a quality of perseverance.
Can you think of anyone that has recently demonstrated fortitude in the public arena?
An interesting thought about how one goes about developing fortitude comes from the idea that it is a fruit.
That is, it is something we grow in our character, not something we build or think our way into. It has to come from something we have developed. Like learning to field balls behind 2nd base in baseball. You don’t just go out there and instantly do it well. But it’s not just an internal skill as you might think of will power or the like. No, it’s more like learning to dance.
We are learning to do hard things within the context of our trusting relationship with the One who leads in this dance called life.
And we will not go far without steadfast fortitude.

Public Notice: Oath Keepers Will NOT be Participating in the August 17, 2019 “End Domestic Terrorism” Rally in Portland, OR

I wish I didn’t have to do this, but it must be done. I must make it clear that Oath Keepers will not be participating in the “End Domestic Terrorism” rally scheduled for this Saturday, August 17, 2019, which is being organized by Joe Biggs and the Proud Boys.
I must also make it clear that Oath Keepers is NOT an organizer of this event, as has been erroneously reported by some media outlets. This event is being organized by Joe Biggs and the Proud Boys, not Oath Keepers. Oath Keepers was invited to attend, but we will not be attending.
We fully support free speech, and we fully agree that Antifa is a domestic terrorist organization that uses force and the threatened use of force to intimidate, silence, and suppress the free speech of Americans. However, we cannot participate in this event for the following reasons: A. We have not seen adequate steps taken by the organizers to exclude known or suspected white nationalists from attending this event. Oath Keepers has a zero tolerance policy for white nationalism or any other ethno-nationalist ideology that discriminates along racial lines (as our bylaws make clear) and we do not, and cannot, knowingly associate with known or suspected white nationalists.
First, we consider white nationalists (along with any other ethno-nationalists) to be dangerous domestic enemies of the Constitution, every bit as deadly to our Republic as the violent communists within Antifa, because white nationalists also hold the Constitution in contempt and wish to overthrow it and replace it with their own desired totalitarian system. On that, the white nationalists and the communists are in agreement. And all of us who swore to defend the Constitution must stand against both of them as clear domestic enemies of the Constitution.
Second, we have a considerable number of active duty military and police in our membership who cannot knowingly associate with racists and we owe it to them to be diligent in avoiding participating in any event where white nationalists will not be actively, stringently excluded.
Third, the left in this nation is desperate to paint all conservatives and, especially, all Trump supporters as “white nationalists” to the point of absurdity. Allowing any actual white nationalists into an event where attendees are encouraged to bring Trump flags as well as American flags would be a grave mistake and does no favors to either President Trump or to the broader conservative cause. Conservatives, libertarians, and Trump supporters must be diligent about making sure the events they organize exclude white nationalists who want the same thing the left wants – to paint the false impression that we agree with their racist, collectivist, anti-constitution agenda (which is exactly why CNN loves to give airtime to the white nationalist troll Richard Spencer, as he desperately tries to tie his Neo-Nazi agenda to Trump).
I want to stress that we at Oath Keepers DO NOT believe that Joe Biggs or Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, the two organizers of this event, are white nationalists. Nor do we believe that the great majority of those groups and individuals who plan on attending the event are white nationalists. But we do not believe the organizers are taking the steps necessary to ensure that white nationalist and suspected white nationalist groups and individuals will be excluded.
A closely related problem is that the organizers have not secured a permit for exclusive use of the Waterfront Park where they will be holding the rally this Saturday in Portland. Yes, they still have a right to free speech, but one of the advantages of securing a permit to use a public space for a particular time is that it allows you to exclude others from using that same space at that time, such as excluding known or suspected white nationalists.
We saw the problems a lack of a permit can bring when we helped to protect a free speech event in Berkeley, CA in April, 2017. That was an un-permitted event, and because the event organizers had not secured a permit for exclusive use of the MLK park, they could not exclude the white nationalists group Identity Evropa from entering the park. Identity Evropa promptly placed themselves and their anti-Semitic, racist signs front and center, facing off with Antifa.
I instructed those under our command in the event security element that under no circumstances were they to allow Identity Evropa to enter our security inner perimeter around the audience and the stage. I was willing to go to jail to prevent Identity Evropa from actually entering the audience for the event, but we could not kick them out of the park. And, of course, the media all focused their cameras on Identity Evropa. We were able to maintain some separation between them and the event we were securing, but it did give Identity Evropa the opportunity to attempt to co-opt the event for their own agenda.
For this event in Portland, in contrast to the April 2017 event in Berkeley, Oath Keepers is not in charge of the security element and, if we attended this Saturday, we would not be able to actively exclude suspected white nationalists as we did in Berkeley. As such, we cannot attend. B. Some of the past rhetoric, public statements, and memes/graphics posted online by the event organizer and by planned attendees expose those who attend the August 17 rally to possible civil and criminal law liability.
We understand the anger and frustration among patriots after watching the footage of the violent Antifa attack on Andy Ngo on June 29, 2019 and the horrific attack on two other patriots that same day. However, angry, undisciplined public statements that can be construed as expressing an intent to come to Portland to seek out Antifa and engage them in street fights and to assault them, and memes posted online to that effect, or worse, do a disservice to anyone who wants to attend a free speech event in protest against Antifa terrorism and against the failure of Portland officials to secure the free speech rights of Americans.
Those angry statements cannot be undone, and despite the organizers and planned attendees subsequently dialing back on the rhetoric, those prior statements are already being used against them by their political opponents and by the leftist dominated media. All of the angry videos,Twitter posts, and incriminating photos, etc by the organizer leading up to this rally have been preserved by Antifa and their supporters. Likewise for memes/graphics posted by planned attendees depicting violence against Antifa.
Further, those prior statements, videos, photos, and memes/graphics by the event organizer and other planned attendees potentially expose all attendees to possible prosecution using both an Oregon state “rioting” statute and a federal rioting statute that was used on some of the attendees of the disastrous Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally in August, 2017 (which Oath Keepers also did NOT attend). Even though the vast majority of the planned attendees for the Portland rally this Saturday have no intention of initiating unlawful violence against Antifa, the prior statements of the event organizer, expressing his intent, can potentially be used against all attendees.
I share the frustrations many patriots feel about the obvious double standard of Antifa having free rein in Portland while patriots are under the microscope. But I cannot and will not expose Oath Keepers members to possible persecution/prosecution because of undisciplined statements made by others, however understandable the anger that prompted the undisciplined statements. Therefore, I must urge all Oath Keepers members to stay clear of this event in Portland on August 17, 2019. C. More Than Ever, This is a Time for Discipline and Professionalism
Because of their own actions, Antifa is currently on the ropes and is on the verge of being declared a domestic terrorist organization. Much has taken place since Joe Biggs first announced his intent to hold this rally. First, on July 13, 2019, the self-identified Antifa terrorist Willem Van Spronsen used a rifle and Molotov cocktails to attack the ICE detention facility in Tacoma, WA. Only by the grace of God was he not able to kill responding officers. Van Spronsen pointed his AR-15 at the officers, but it apparently malfunctioned, and he was shot and killed before he could fix that malfunction. He also failed in his attempt to ignite a 500 lb propane tank. If he had been successful, it could have killed all the personnel and the detainees in the center. Thankfully he was an incompetent terrorist.
Since that attack, Antifa has lauded Van Spronsen as a martyr and an example to follow, and, in the graphics promoting their planned assault on the border in El Paso, Texas September 1-10, Antifa has openly threatened to kill CBP personnel.
And, of course, Antifa widely celebrated the July 12 illegal trespassing at the Aurora, CO ICE facility where protesters tore down the American flag, attempted to burn it, and in its place hoisted up the Mexican flagand also flew a defaced, upside down “blue lives matter” flag with “Abolish ICE” written on it in red.
And most recently, at 3am on August 13, 2019, shots were fired into the occupied ICE offices in San Antonio, Texas.
A maxim of warfare, expressed by Napoleon Bonaparte, is to “never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” Patriots, conservatives, Trump supporters, all need to be disciplined and let Antifa continue to show their true colors. It would be counterproductive to engage in undisciplined activities (or in a rally who’s main organizer made undisciplined statements of intent) that can be construed by the media and politicians to paint patriots as the aggressors and Antifa as the victims.
Frankly, given the prior statements of Joe Biggs that will be used against all attendees of his rally, it would be best for the patriot/conservative cause if this August 17 rally were simply canceled. Those who want to protest the way Portland coddles Antifa should start over, with a clean slate, and then do so in a much more disciplined manner.
In addition to the above noted Antifa terrorism, after the mass shootings in California, El Paso, and Ohio, we are in a decidedly “kinetic” (guns and bombs) environment and we should expect Antifa to use even more deadly force as they go full “Weather Underground” in their revolutionary communist-terrorist trajectory. Expect it.
As such, Oath Keepers will be very disciplined about what events we participate in, and we are currently instructing our members to focus on publicly supporting and directly backing up ICE and CBP personnel in a disciplined, purely defensive posture, using only clearly lawful self defense and defense of others, and to focus on our upcoming operation in El Paso, TX where we will also be assisting in securing private property (including homes) against deadly threat by Antifa.
If the event organizers do continue on with their planned event this Saturday, we sincerely hope it goes off without a hitch and is peaceful and successful. But Oath Keepers will be focusing our resources elsewhere.

You have to admit, never, ever, in a million years, did you EVER think the Trump Presidency would be THIS GOOD. Admit it, come on, admit it, no one saw this coming.
Mid-afternoon yesterday, we were all getting ready for the Trump Rally in Manchester, NH. I checked Twitter for new pics from our supporters and noticed a WSJ article about President Trump trying to buy Greenland. Link Full Stop. Huh? He wants to buy a country?
Buying a country? Hehe, yeah baby – There’s your new GREEN Deal!!!!
The WSJ article went on to explain the idea is not as far-fetched as it sounds. Apparently, the USA tried to buy Greenland in 1867. Again, in 1946, Truman offered 100 million dollars for Greenland, but the Danes turned us down. Greenland is an
“autonomous region” owned by Denmark.
The WSJ continued. Apparently, President Trump was at a round table, meeting with leaders, somewhere, when the subject of Greenland came up. Denmark subsidizes the 50K+ residents of Greenland to the tune of 591 million dollars, annually. The drain on Denmark’s purse was causing strain. Someone asked Trump if he was interested. President Trump turned the question back to the table and replied, “What do you think?”
Well, if the largest island in the world is a distressed asset, a fixer-upper, and in a great location, who else but Donald Trump could put the deal together? One tidbit, the residents of Greenland are not allowed to buy land. They only have the use of the land, to build a home/biz, whatever. The land still belongs to Denmark, making such a transaction much easier.
Well, it may have been an offhand joke at the time, but the WSJ is reporting President Trump came home and asked his WH Counsel to look into the idea. Additionally, the WSJ reports President Trump has brought up the idea of purchasing Greenland several times in Cabinet meetings. The USA has a Treaty with Denmark giving the USA almost unlimited access and use of Greenland. Treaty has been updated and amended a few times take a look at latest revisions here. Link

The population of Greenland is 56,648 with 14,719 inhabitants living in the capital Nuuk (formerly Godthab). The majority of Greenland’s population live in towns along the fjords in the southwest of the country where the climate is relatively mild. The second largest city is Sisimiut, followed by Ilulissat and Qaqortoq.

Greenland has had “Self Rule” since June 21, 2009 (including control over minerals and petroleum) – which means that the country has assumed making the political decisions that previously come from Denmark.
Did Obama agree to giving away our stake in Greenland? Kangerlussuaq (Søndre Strønfjord) in the West or Narsarsuaq in the South, were American air bases. We still have Thule Air Base in Greenland. From the WSJ article, Pompeo was scheduled to visit Greenland in May, but the trip was canceled in because of tension with Iran. Hmmmm….
In Greenland, the story is all about minerals and natural resources. Yet, we might have another problem……. because of Greenland’s new autonomous rule, but owned by Denmark. Gee Whiz, might be why the WH Counsel is looking into it. Greenland’s constant reliance on Denmark for ‘grants’ and subsidies, is straining the relationship.
The BMP is the authoritative body for all administration in relation to the mineral resources industry in Greenland. Licensees only have to apply to one place to obtain all their necessary licenses – the BMP is very much a ‘one stop shop’ – ensuring efficient administration in the area of mineral resources. The BMP has the regulatory authority to review, evaluate and approve all SIA’s, licenses and facilitate public hearing processes.

Rare earth’s, coal, lead, zinc, silver, diamonds, and exploration of gas and oil makes Greenland very tempting.

Greenland’s offshore geology is highly prospective for petroleum. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) estimated, in 2007, that the East Greenland Rift Basins Province could hold over 31 billion barrels of oil, gas and natural gas liquids. The USGS also estimated that the waters off Greenland’s west coast could contain more than 110 billion barrels of oil (roughly 42% of Saudi Arabia’s reserves).

ExxonMobil, Chevron, Husky, Encana, the UK’s Cairn Energy and Denmark’s Dong Energy are among the companies that have either already won or applied for exploration licenses from Greenland’s Bureau of Minerals and Petroleum for acreage.
And finally, here is the hook, and probably why our VSG is pondering the idea.
But how will Greenland pay for the responsibilities it may eventually take over from the Danish state? The main challenge to securing greater self-government is overcoming the reliance on the annual grant Greenland receives from Denmark and replacing it with revenues generated from within the country. Mineral mining and oil and gas production would ease this dependence. Fortunately Greenland is highly prospective for minerals and is hugely underexplored – the country is a new, and one of the last, frontiers for mineral and petroleum exploration.
Greenland is still reliant on Denmark, and Denmark is tired of paying for Greenland….. enter……. President Trump.
It’s such a PRETTTyyyy country.
